No seriously don't, unless you are aware that this is a gay relationship story (with lots of Drama currently). This is a gay relationship story based on the idea of the Backstreet Boys. In now way is it actually intended to imply that the Backstreet Boys are actually gay. (But I can hope!) These materials are under copyright. This installment has come out of writing the NSYNC side first. But it is a totally different view as we discussed repeatedly. Thank you. ZELGADYSS: What can I say about the guy who makes me think of the sweetness needed to make an idea clear. Love, unconditional love, is ever presently waiting for you. I love "Brian's 7 Sea's of Loneliness", keep it up. Thank you for being yourself when we talk. JM: Wow I am sure everyone will agree your long running series is an inspiration. I am sure we all agree your new addition (Just Beginning) is excellent, keep up the great work CJ: Love what you do and do it well I say. Love the story and I hope we see more of it soon. And to all the other writers of BSB and NSYNC stories-I have read everything possible to make sure I am not copying any of you. You all deserve a hand and I would only wish to immolate your ability to write and not your ideas. To the nominators and voters: I am very happy with just being nominated. Thank you for the interest in the story I hope to hear from you all latter. Piece, Love, and Music, Grayson S. Vellar Ok now remember how I said they were getting longer. This one is almost too long but it is important to get the joined stories off to a good start and it will have less drama in the future promise. If you read all the way through you will gain a new understanding. Yes there is a lot of SEX coming up soon and the drama will be settled in the next installment. BTW, if you have figured out who the mad Joker is, tell me and I will let you know if you're right or wrong. There are two (HINT) and you must read NSYNC and Delwyn Part5 to get a idea as to who the other one is. Let me know what you think and I will respond back to you. Writergray@aol.com BSB Magic-part 5 Grayson S. Vellar `The Blissful Madness of the Joker' Everyone sighed as we got ready to enter the hotel. I was amazed at how organized all this seemed. Kevin being the one always in control of everything and always having the answers. My guess is that is why he is the father figure of the group. Upstairs in Lance and Delwyn's room "OK who the Hell did this to me," he shouted as everyone gasped for air. His hair was now a royal blue color. "Well Come on. You got me now confess before I wage war against all of you." Justin was determined as he stood firm in his belief that one of the guy's had done this to him. "Which one of you put dye in my shampoo?" As we exited, the elevator Kevin suddenly stopped me, as he let go of my hand. He looked at me for a few seconds before uttering a word. I was shaking for some reason he had that affect on me. All he had to do was look into my eyes and I would melt. "I don't want them to know about us just yet. We have not seen each other for a while." I hushed him quickly as I placed my fingers to his lips. Instead of letting me stop him he opened his mouth and bit the tips of my fingers as I giggled. Howie cleared his throat just in time to stop me from kissing him. "Look you two if either one of you is serious about any thing it should be this," Howie said. "I think we are serious Howie. That's why we are doing so well and you are still single," AJ said, this only pissed off Howie. Back in the room. "Delwyn do you know what I have to go through to make my hair like it was. How could you!" His shouting brought in an onslaught of people all the security that could be mustered was rushing into the room. Lynn was the last one to enter as she looked on in horror. "I knew from the moment I met you that you were going to be trouble!" Lynn shouted. Lance had regained his composure and walked over to me as I was being lifted to my feet by the security team. He looked at me and became enraged. I was shocked at his expression as he turned around and faced everyone else. He held his stance firm but his head was hanging down as he walked directly up to Justin. "It wasn't him Justin. He was with me the whole night. How could it be him," He said and asked as the security guards began to take me out of the room. His eyes shot open and he placed a hand on one of the guard's chest as he began to slip by. "Right he just stayed there and you wouldn't have noticed him get up and sneak into the other room." Lynn spewed while she stared down Lance. "If that is the case. Then the guards weren't doing their job's." Lance shot back. Back in the hall We stood silently looking into one another's for what seemed like an eternity. The others bickered on like schools girls behind us. PMS definitely was setting in on this Boy Band. "Ok this is where I have to leave you. Just wait and I will call you guys in," Kevin said. Kevin walked away as I stared at his ass. He must have known I was doing it as he taunted me a few times shaking it a little more than normal. I laughed as no one else joined in. Brain had an uneasy look on his face as he and Blake had been keeping their distance form one another. I felt like telling them but to do so would be interfering and I knew that would not be right. "Kevin wait up. I want to come with you," Brian shouted just in time to see Kevin stick his head in the door. Brian persisted and ran down the hall to follow him anyhow. "Hello, I take it this is a bad time." Kevin said, as he looked at a young black haired guy hanging from the arms of two guards. "Chris where is your room key," Lance asked. Chris reached into his shirt pocket and produced the key with ease. Joey reached into his pocket and searched for his copy of the same key. He had a frantic look on his face as he searched for it repeatedly. Everyone looked from one to another. The guards let the guy fall to the ground as Brian walked into the doorway. 'There is something wrong he has not gone in' I thought as I stood there waiting for a sign any sign. 'Wait I am a star now I can do this. He must think I should wait back so that we don't get caught. But, if I look and act professional they will never know I can pull this off' I thought as I took my first steps towards the room. "Where the hell is he going," Howie asked as I just ignored him. I could hear Kevin saying hello as I watched him now standing fully in the doorway. He didn't even notice me walk up as I stood within view of NSYNC now. 'Why would Justin go blue with the hair' "Well that still doesn't get any of you off the hook. I still don't like this." Lynn said, as she took a seat on the near by bed. "Ok, is anyone going to tell me why there is a bleeding man sitting on the floor. Joey doesn't have a key and Lynn is not being as nice as she should be right now," I grabbed his arms not knowing what to do other than stop him from embarrassing us. There was more going on here than it appeared to be. The woman setting on the bed had a look about her I did not like. Kevin shot me a dirty look as I looked into his eyes he eased up slightly. I ushered us a room's length away from the door. Brian stayed in the doorway. "If he knows what is good for him he will let them have their discussion. Kevin I know you better than I know myself and there is something happening here that I don't like." He tried to speak as I cut him off. "And stop your worrying after they find out about me being in the business they will not figure us out. We will be fine it is Michael and Blake you have to worry about. "No, that's your job they dance for you," he said grinning. Brain stepped suddenly away from the door as Kevin and I looked at him for an answer. He just looked at us with a grin on his face that was to devious even for Brian. AJ, Michael, Howie, Nick, and Blake were all beginning to get uneasy standing down at the end of the hall waiting as they talked and paced or talked and punched at one another. Both Kevin and I began to laugh to ourselves as we took another look at Brian popping his head in and out of the doorway from time to time but he was obviously being a pain to these guys. "I am sure Michael and Blake can take care of them selves. You are more important to me than anything. " I said not looking up from the floor now. "Besides, if I am truly going to get to know you I have to worry about you too." Kevin grinned and reached over to take my hand in his I looked at him quickly as he pulled it back. "Not here, I want it as much as you do, but not here." Brian soon had returned to being his nosey self and had leaned back into the room. Although I could not hear what was going on inside the room, it had to be good for Brian to be so intrusive. He was standing there grinning when all of the sudden Justin Timberlake was flying at him into the hallway. 'What the hell is going on' Blake ran down the hall to pull them apart as Kevin and I stood in shock. The other guys of NSYNC filled out into the hallway now following the woman. "What the hell is going on here!" AJ shouted as he approached the rest of us. "Justin I love the hair but it should be red on you not Blue." AJ snickered as Chris and a guy I didn't recognize grabbed Justin from behind. "Oh no you don't everyone could not have done this to you. They got here late last night so how could they have done it?" A guy I had never seen before asked soothing Justin. "Your not supposed to be here suppose it was you!" Justin shouted pulling away and running into his room slamming the door shut. "Ok now that the threat is gone what is going on with all of you?" Kevin asked as AJ met Nick and Howie with a wave for them to keep their distance. I was not at all impressed with Justin now. Any part of me that thought of him as an adult was now shot to hell. "I would not deduce the threat being gone just yet Kevin," The woman said, as she walked away trying to follow Justin into the room. "Oh happy reunion," JC said as he leaned against the doorframe opposite all of the mayhem. "Hello, Lynn will you at least tell us what is wrong here," Brian said, coming to his cousins rescue. "As of this morning my son has bright screaming blue hair. No one seems to know how he got it. If this is a practical joke it is not funny." Mrs. Harless said. "Lynn I know we have had out differences in the past. We had our own incident this morning when we woke up. You see we were all locked into our bunks. Someone stapled the curtains closed except for Todd who was actually stapled into the bed through his sleeping bag," Kevin said, as I looked at the shocked expression on JC's face. I decided to rescue Kevin again as I walked directly up to the two of them. "Hello Mrs. Harless I am Scott Marks. I was one of the unfortunate people to have been locked into a bunk. Look I can see the arguing about all this seems in a way affective but this is getting us no where." I said, as I stretched out his hand to Lynn. "Nice to meet you unfortunately this is a bad time if you would be so kind gentleman I think I have other matters to attend to." She pushed past Kevin and I and headed to the door Justin had slammed shut. As it opened, I was suddenly perplex what was missing from this picture there was an answer in here somewhere but where. "Wait how the hell did she open that door she had no key!" Delwyn shouted as Lance and Kevin walked over to it and opened it with ease. My question had been answered. "Ok so now we know how they got in and that it has even gotten harder to track the person down." Kevin looked up as I walked over towards him and walked into the room. No one said a word to me as I stepped inside and latch was thrown. They could not get in. I knew this was for the best. I also knew my Kevin and he would be upset about all this hopefully in time he would understand what I was up too. "Kevin he will be ok in there he is the smarter of the two of them," Brian said as Kevin laughed lightly. ~~~~~~~~Inside the room~~~~~~~~~~ "Lynn we have just discovered something or rather you have and didn't know it." I said standing just outside the bathroom entrance. She had her hands on the back of Justin's head as he was rinsing the dye out as much as he possibly could. "What are you doing in here. Can't everyone just leave him alone right now," Lynn asked. "First, I am sure he can wash his own hair. Second, we have had enough of the fighting and condescending attitudes. Third, if you want to know how the person got into this room you will follow me." Justin looked up from the sink long enough to see me standing there and gave me a wicked grin. I was thoroughly confused, as I had no idea why he suddenly was so happy. What confused me even more was how I was handling Lynn. Had I just said all that and gotten away with it. But then again, I know she is tuff to get through too. "Ok, have it your way," Lynn said as she pushed Justin's head back under the water and walked away. As we approached the door I grabbed hold of the latch and unlocked it, as Lynn stood silent. I quietly stepped out into the hallway being starred at by everyone. I could see Kevin was upset but also wanted to know what I was up to I smiled at him lovingly. Not to lovingly, I had to reminded myself. I motioned Lynn to stay inside as I closed the door. When I opened it and closed it several times, I was expecting a reaction but she just stood there holding that mother with a mission pose of hers. I opened it and closed it several more times as she looked at me and changed from court judge to frustrated child. I knew this look it reminded me of Nick at times. "How are you doing that without a." Lynn paused looking out into the hallway. "Scott that still does not tell me why this has happened. But what it does tell me is anyone could have gotten in here. So, now everyone is a suspect." She said, pulling me back into the room and latching the door. I had no idea why but she was determined to destroy someone else for this. If Justin was such a good.. `Oh never mind' I thought as she walked back into the bathroom. "Now since you are the smart on tell me how they got the dye into the Shampoo," She asked, as I sat down on the bed frustrated at her accusatory tones. "Who else was sleeping in here," I asked, hoping for an easy answer. "Joey was." "How light do they both sleep," I asked. "Joey not at all light, Justin on the other hand well that is why he is so grumpy when he wakes up." She said thinking about it and grinning. But it was short lived as she noticed the look on my face. `There was no way anyone form the band could have done this was there' I thought. "Seems to me then it had to be put in previously to last night then," I said, still thinking that was not good enough of an answer. ~~~~~~~Outside in the hall~~~~~~~ Everyone on the outside of the door was beginning to wonder what the hell was going on in there. Delwyn was trying to get his lip to stop hurting as Brian handed him some ice wrapped in a towel. Lance had a funny look on his face but gave into the urge as he placed his arm around Delwyn's shoulder as they sat down on the floor facing the door. Brian grinned down he looked over his shoulder to Howie, AJ, Michael and Blake. Brian grinned even bigger as NSYNC watched Blake coming closer to his side. Lance became uneasy and started to pull away. Brian saw this, and would have nothing to do with it as he placed his hand on Delwyn's hand, and placed it on Lance's to show him it was ok. Not a word was spoken as Blake and Brian squatted down in front of Lance and Delwyn. Brian reached over and took Blake's hand in his as they looked at one another grinning. There was a silence among them as Kevin and JC watched with great interest. "This is Blake. Blake I would like you to meet Lance Bass of NSYNC and." Brian paused, not knowing Delwyn's name yet. "Delwyn Catz," he said reaching out and shaking both of their hands. AJ at the end of the hall began walking up with Howie Nick and Michael close to his side. Delwyn began to grin from ear to ear as he noticed AJ and the Michael were holding hands. "So, who is Scott then," Delwyn asked as Lance had a look of shock on his face. Kevin waved as he stood next to the door. "That would be um my other half." He said as he placed his hand on the knob to the door again. To his dismay, it was still locked tight as he began again with the pacing. ~~~~~~Inside the room~~~~~~~ "But when that is the question." Lynn said, as she stood up and went into the bathroom. Justin's hair was now a baby blue color as he stood there starring into the mirror. Lynn began to laugh as she looked at her son. She finally took note that he was not laughing and just looked on trying not to burst into laughter. I couldn't help but laugh on the inside as the Smurf's song popped into my head. "Justin when did you last use this Shampoo of yours," She asked still holding back laughter as Justin finally broke. I saw this as my cue and walked over to the door to open it. If there was going to be a time to heal old wounds, this was it. ~~~~Second Before~~~~ They all sat on the floor now staring at the door. Still there was nothing but silence. Kevin was getting really worried as he edged his way back and forth his hands were now busy ripping at a piece of paper he had pulled out of his pocket. The door flew open as Kevin now starred at me for an answer. There was nothing said between us as I grinned. Soon enough everyone could hear Justin and Lynn laughing. I smiled broadly at Kevin. Kevin's response was shocking for everyone. We hugged deeply which lead to a passionate kiss. Unfortunately, Lynn walked out just in time to catch us. "Ok, that explains a lot of what has been in the back of my mind." Lynn said, as Kevin blushed and buried his head in my shoulder. "Kevin it's ok I like him and since you two are together I must say I am very happy. You and I have had our differences but this explains all of that now. We are to much alike it seems." She said, while giving me a wink and a grin. `Is she flirting with me,' I thought. Justin saw Delwyn sitting on the floor holding the ice pack and began to freak out. He dropped down on the floor in front of him nearly knocking Brian over. "Delwyn I am sorry but it did look like you did it. That just means you are off my list. I have the rest of the group to get back at though." Delwyn was physically stunned as I watched him roll over the apology in his mind. "You, don't have to get back at the rest of the group. You see even they had problems this morning. They got stapled into their bunks. And I might add it was not me," he said, pointing at me. He immediately was on his feet and pulled Lance back into the room as everyone began laughing. Brian, Blake, AJ and Michael followed them inside. As soon as the door closed, we heard Delwyn laughing. Justin rushed over to the door and I thought it was going to be another one of his attempts at making war. But, at the last second he grinned over at Lynn, Kevin and I and walked into the room slamming the door behind him. "So, how was your trip," Lynn asked as Kevin and I walked with her down to an open doorway. We were holding hand along the way. I got a strange feeling as we walked along I could feel someone watching us. As we entered the room I turned and looked back up the hall to se JC still sitting on the floor. I felt bad for him suddenly although I had not been introduced to him I knew he was the father figure of NSYNC and here I had taken away his responsibilities to them by settling this situation. I knew I had to go talk to him. "Kevin, I am going to talk to JC I think he need a ear. Why don't I let you and Lynn catch up," I said as he quickly kissed me. "Ok but he is a sly one. If you need me just, call me," Kevin said, as Lynn giggled. "What?" We both asked he in unison. "You two either have not been together long or you have not been together long," She said stressing together the second time she said it. I saw Kevin blush as I kissed him on the cheek and headed out of the room. "Aren't you forgetting something," Lynn asked me as I was just getting to the door. I looked at her and smiled as I continued out the door. I then turned back immediately and leaned into the room. "Kevin, pssssst guess what?" I whispered as Lynn watched with anticipation. "I love you," he grinned wide enough for me to see all of his teeth. Satisfied at my endeavors I headed back down the hall to JC's side and sat down. He was standing next to the door where all the others had gone in, it appeared as if there were tears in his eyes. "You know if you just go in your whole perspective will change as to what they are talking about," I said. JC was shocked that he had been caught. His eyes spoke a thousand words as he was trying to come up with something to respond with. "I can't just go in there, Justin and I have had a few thing happen that would only make things worse," JC said looking up at and me then down at the floor. "Telling someone may make it easier to deal with," I replied. "Not in this case. I hurt him a while back. Well, it would not make it any easier because he has not had time to deal with it," He said walking over to his room. "You have to deal with it to, now don't you?" I knew if he did not get it off his chest it would eat him alive. "Well your right but." I cut him off. "Then maybe it should be someone you're more comfortable talking too," I said snapping him into a guilt trip. "Maybe your right come on we can talk in here," He said walking into the room. "I didn't mean to make you think I don't trust you. We just met so I am still a little unnerved. I guess I should start by telling you." He closed the door as I walked in. "That Justin and I have a sort of bond." "A relationship is a bond." I interjected as he sat down and just stared at me. "You not going to make this easy are you," he asked. "Not my job to make it easy, but if you like I will just hold my commentary," I said making him laugh. "Ok, well a relationship is right. Your are good at this so I will just spill it. When we all came together we worked so hard for so long and none of us really had any kind of outside relationships. I guess you could say it was bound to happen but here we are after the facts and I am feeling a bit uneasy." He took a deep breath as he leaned forwards on the couch. "We only went out for a month and I was felling a bit overwhelmed. I had never known Justin to be so passionate about love. Sure we all had our conversations about sex. That is what guys do when they sit around and are bored. But, Justin always had the coolest answers for the questions. I was so taken back when he felt the same way that I did. At first, it was loving respect then it turned into more. We dated for a while. We hung out together as the others would say. And well one thing led to another. Soon enough we were together for a month and I was as happy as I could be. The bad thing was it was going against everything I had been taught all of my life. Justin made things worse by confessing he was in love with me. I mean we had not said the words before then. I said that I love him in a meek kind of way. But, I was not in love with him. I lied. I made all this happen, to the point we are not even that close anymore. I mean he loved me and I slammed the door on him." JC sat quietly looking at his hands, as I now understood what it must have been like. "JC, you do love him don't you?" I asked. "Yes, but I couldn't allow myself to go that far," he replied. "Then why don't you tell him," I remembered being told the same thing about Kevin three years ago after I had a few days to get to know the whole group. I had used the same words Jonathan said to me. It only brought back the secure feelings I had felt then. "I have tried I just get nervous and things get messed up again," he said. "If you don't want to tell him. Then you need to let your two hearts go their separate ways." It sounded sappy at the time but it was all I could think of as I sat there watching him look up at me. He smiled and stood up form the bed. "You're right, but. No you're right. I think I should go get things moving in the right direction. Maybe try and work things out," just then there was a knocking at the door. JC jumped and answered it. "Lynn oh hello, what's up?" JC asked, as I became very interested as to what she was going to think of me being in here alone with him. "I need to get everyone to get ready to leave we have made arrangements at the restaurant for breakfast. You know the one we ate at last night. I called ahead if you don't mind me sticking my nose in everything. I was thinking maybe I could make things go smoothly since Paul and Jonathan are not here any more." She paused looking directly at me. "Oh Scott, we need you to go down and talk to Jon about the contract. You signed it and apparently there are some problems with the dates." Her tone was calm and unquestioning. I knew she was ok with all of this. "Sure thing," I replied. "I'll go ahead and get everyone together Lynn," JC answered her as well. I headed out of the room and down the hall to find Kevin talking on the phone to Jon. As he hung up, I felt out of place suddenly. He was smiling as if everything was all right but underneath that smile was lurking something new. I let all of the thoughts go as I approached him and kissed him quickly. His eyes tried to pierce through me, as I remained aloof. I was not going to let my insecurities cause us to have problems. Lynn walked back into the room and glared at me as I was sitting next to Kevin. "What is wrong with JC, one minute he is sad and now he is on cloud nine?" She said as she took a seat in a chair next to the balcony. "Not at liberty to say. But, I am sure everything will work out fine if he sticks to his heart and not his doubts." I said only making her question me even more. "There are no secrets between us and I would like to know what is happening with him. Scott he is like a son to me they all are," she said. "And as your son you should be able to trust his judgment if you respect him at all," I said, while Kevin squeezed my hand. "Ok, I can see you two are alike in to many ways. Always thinking you are the right ones and everyone else being wrong. I can see," she snapped back at me. "Lynn he has some personal issues to deal with. Some really, personal issues. I don't think your nosey prying is going to make it any easier. What he said to me was private and when he is ready, he will tell you. Just let it go and everything will be fine. He just has to make the first step," I said. Lynn did not like my response and was only going to continue to pry we all knew it. She as far as I could see was going to be too overprotective and it would only lead to heartache. I got myself on my feet again and decided it was time to head down stairs I was not willing to be put through one of her little shows of terror. Kevin stood up next to me as he looked at Lynn he flashed her a smile, which she half-heartedly returned. We made our way out to the hall only to find AJ and Lance hugging and laughing as Brian, Blake, Michael and Delwyn looked on. "Hey none of that you two. We have to get going everyone will be in one limousine for the trip to the restaurant we have set up. We have to go over what is going to be happening today," Kevin said. I was about to laugh as I saw AJ secretly flip him off until Lynn trailed out of the room following us. I could definitely see the NSYNC guys slightly shift, as JC was no longer acting as the father figure. I knew they even suspected it was Kevin's doing by the way Chris was staring at him. I had to let all the grief go and just stick to the program Kevin needed my support even if I did not agree with what was happening. I honestly liked JC he seemed like the type to get the job done. "So come out with it all ready?" AJ asked, as JC and Justin shot both Lance and Delwyn dirty looks. I knew immediately AJ was up to something and we had no time for it what ever it was going to be. "We didn't say anything and stop giving me dirty looks. Man I knew waking up this morning was going to be a bad idea all you guy's have done is make me feel like everything is my fault and I can't take it anymore," Delwyn said. I was now frustrated instantly he was right since I had seen him early this morning. Nothing had been going right for him. I was sure going to have to watch out for him today. In fact, I would watch and find out why all of this was happening. "I think we will stay here and meet you all latter at. Where are we going to be today?" Lance asked as he walked with Delwyn to a closed to the door. Lynn was increasingly becoming a powerful bitch. She grew angry I could feel it emulate from her. She stood right next to me I reached over and took Kevin's hand in mine to which he smiled over at me not saying a word. "Your coming with us and that is final we will get all of this settled in time. Right now we have to much to get done." Lynn said, as she grabbed Delwyn's hand and pulled me into a room with her. I was astonished no one reacted as she closed the door and no one moved. We all stood silent as Kevin and I looked at one another I was silently asking him to stop her before she made a mess of everyone's lives. But he didn't move he just stood there. I looked at JC briefly as he saw what I was trying to ask anyone to do. Justin just shook his head as if too scarred or something. In all my life, I hated moments like this. "Is anyone going to stop her rampage or do I have to do this by myself," I asked Kevin. "Please just let her calm down she has to adjust sometimes. I think we all would like to make it through the day," Justin said. "Scott you mean well and I agree this should be stopped," JC said as he walked over to the door. Soon enough he was retreating pulling his head back out into the hallway. But to his demise, he had not entirely closed the door. Kevin and I leaned in to hear what was being said as everyone piled around us. "Is everyone going to keep stepping on his toes. I mean, he is having a hard enough time dealing with the problems he and Justin are having. And now you have completely replaced him in his function." I was about to bust up when I felt Kevin's hand wrap around my mouth he was serious we should not get caught doing this. I could only imagine what she was capable of. "What did my son hit you that hard that you would talk so quickly without thinking." She paused. "Let's get going we are already late." All of us scattered back to our original positions except for Lance who stood next to the door to pull Delwyn away. We headed down to the limousine. It looked smaller than it was, I hoped at least that it did. What were they thinking when they rented this. I looked at Kevin who just meekly pointed to Lynn and crammed all of us inside. 'Man with fifteen people and a Volkswagen you would have been more comfortable' I thought as I laughed. I heard a whisper but could not make out the words being said as Delwyn leaned over to Lance saying something. JC looked up at Lynn Kevin and I grinning. I knew it had to about Lynn. Everyone was uncomfortable, as we all had to practically set on one another's laps. Of course with a lap like Kevin's it was the best thought I had at the time. Everyone else was very unhappy about the seating arrangement so it seemed as no one smiled or said a word. Delwyn pulled a cell phone from his inside pocket and began to dial. He held his cramped position as Lynn and Kevin both starred hard at him I grabbed Kevin's thigh trying to stop him from becoming bitch number two but to my dismay he did not even notice. "Dad, look we have not left town yet. I need to ask you a favor." Delwyn asked and went silent I knew listening to one-sided conversations was as boring as watching paint dry. But, JC was listening carefully to the conversation. Apparently, he could hear what was being said. From the grin on his face, it must have been funny. "Mom, so you two are together. Good, it would be better if we had both your help today. I need to get transportation for 15 today and that is not including security I take it," Delwyn asked, looking at Lynn and Kevin for a response, neither one replied. JC just nodded his head yes, as he intently watched and listened still. "No that does not included security and the bus would be a mess to take around town. Do you have any suggestions? Right now we are all pilled into a limousine heading to." Again, no response from Lynn, I squeezed Kevin's thigh and his mouth flew open but nothing came out. This was going to be a hard day if no one was helpful. "Your mothers restaurant actually," JC answered. "Ok mom, we are going to be at," Lance was about to laugh as he looked back over at Lynn he stopped. He mouthed that she heard JC. JC grinned and stuck his tongue out at Lance as the two of them grinned. Delwyn took it all in stride as he had no idea they were playing next to him. "I can not say right now," Delwyn said, JC laughed lightly. Lynn looked at them as if ready to interject. Kevin did not respond as he apparently was still in shock. I was so intrigued now that they could affect everyone's mood with just a few words. They seemed like they were having the conversation of a lifetime. This kid was good. "Not right now. But, I do need the transportation. Dad you all caught up?" Delwyn asked as he looked across at Justin and Chris laughing lightly at them now. "The reason it is busy is because we are going there, Dad. They rented out the big room again for this morning and if planning serves me correctly they have ordered the food ahead of time." Lynn nodded her head at this. "Yes they have that is why it is busy," there was a long pause. "Mom I am going to put you on with Lynn and could you tell her what you just told me please." With that said, Lynn was handed the phone. Lynn sat and listened carefully. She next handed Kevin the phone and they talked for a few more moments. As Kevin handed Delwyn the phone, he told him to give it to JC. Delwyn was shocked, Kevin noticed and just grinned at him. I had to laugh lightly as I rubbed Kevin's thigh he turned and kissed me on the cheek quickly. As JC talked he was grinning from ear to ear. "Thank you Mrs. Catz I will let everyone know and I will tell Delwyn as well. Again thank you." Everyone in the limousine yelled thank you to Delwyn's parents as JC handed him the phone back. "As good as can be expected." Delwyn said, while sliding off the bench onto the floor. We turned into the parking lot to the restaurant. Everyone laughed as we all slid down filling in my seat. Lance reached out and helped him into his lap as he held onto the phone with one hand and the ceiling with the other. "Bye Mom, Dad I will see you in a bit," he said, hanging up the phone. They looked so right sitting there like that almost as good and romantic as I felt being with Kevin. It was going to be hard to keep my hands off him in public, god it would be hard. The parking lot was empty, I suspected it was too early for anyone to be up. Lynn and Kevin were staring again. "Job well done," Delwyn asked. Lynn just grinned at him while Kevin nodded his head yes and patted my knee. "Ok, everyone since NSYNC has been here we will let them show us where to go. Todd and two other security team members are being sent over here in a van being provided by the Catz family and another limousine will be here shortly that is bigger than this one I assume." Kevin said as Delwyn agreed. Everyone cheered as Lance hugged him tight. I reached over and put my arm around Kevin's shoulder quickly giving him a sidelong hug. As we exited the limousine. Kevin, Lance, Delwyn, and I lead the guy's of NSYNC inside only to be stopped by a waiter. As soon as he realized who we were, he let us pass. I was just getting used to all this, in a way it was overwhelming. In time, I would hope I would learn to love the attention. Right now, it was kind of nerve racking. Never knowing when and where things would happen was for me a curse in disguise of a gift. Kevin and I headed in the door first to see nothing was ready. Yes, the tables were set but there was no food and it looked as if things were still out of place at the same time. Suddenly, I notice there was no Delwyn with Lance he was walking alone looking at the room with a odd kind of haze all over his face. This room must have had some kind of meaning to him, I thought. Lance walked the opposite side of the room briefly stopping along the way staring at the Piano and then a door. I presumed it was some sort of a side entrance to the room. Kevin noticed my interest as he began to watch Lance with anticipation now. "This is where they got attacked last night," Howie said as he leaned across the table facing us. "Why didn't Lynn tell me," Kevin said as he watched her talking to a woman just outside the door. He started to get up. "Just let it go babe we will be fine. All we have to do is get out of town. Then she will be on her way. If she keeps stepping on toes eventually she will get kicked," I said, knowing it was cliché. "Are you referring to Mrs. H as a horse," Joey said as he nudged Howie in his shoulder. "It wasn't me it was him. She is creepy though and you know it," Howie said, while Joey nodded his head. "Guys she means well. She really does," JC interjected as he sat down next to Kevin. "Well all I can say is meaning well and actually doing well, is another thing entirely," I said, giving Kevin a sidelong glance. Everyone was laughing at my comment as AJ passed us by with Michael on his arm. I was completely amazed at how much more relaxed Michael had become around us all. He no longer looked like he wanted to be at home. I mean, after all yesterday they were arguing about him staying behind. AJ looked even happier now that he was here. I could not remember the last time he looked so happy. I was reminiscing, yesterday's event when the woman and Lynn walked into the room. No one took notice immediately until she opened her mouth. "Ok everyone may I have your attention please. If you could all be patient the food is still being prepared it has been a last minute change for us but we have everything under control. I need to know what time I have to have you out that door though," Kathy asked. "We need to be at the State street mall at 10:30." JC answered cutting both Kevin and Lynn off. Chris was sitting by himself on the end with an empty seat next to him. I could see him trying to keep his spirits up as Delwyn said something to get his attention. Chris became animated somehow. It seemed funny to me instantly that Delwyn would have such an affect on these guys so easily. I reached over to Kevin's knee and gave it a squeeze as he grinned. JC saw the look and began to laugh lightly next to us. "Not all of us have to speak to get reactions," I said confusing Kevin and JC now. I laughed to myself as I took a sip of my water. "Apparently you two are not the only ones confused look at Scott's face," JC said as I pointed at Lance kissing Delwyn on the cheek. Everyone around me looked at where I was pointing too. "Could you two refrain in public please. We wouldn't want people to get the wrong impression," Howie said. "Well Howie if you must know this Restaurant is owned by Delwyn's parents, along with the Arena we performed in last night," JC remarked without looking over at him. "Yes and this is the room where all the fighting took place last night," Lynn said, as a waiter dropped a tray of glasses hearing her words. "Figures she can't keep her mouth shut," I quietly replied, Kevin placed his hand on my leg and squeezed. "Remember Scott we will be out of her reach soon," Kevin said. Delwyn was on his feet in no time helping the waiter to gather up the broken glass. His gentle helpful nature was too much for me. Was he for real? Was he really going to help this guy out? I laughed to myself. "Noel, just get another tray and bring them out. Try not to break anything else. Delwyn would you do me a favor and play until they get the food ready it would help to break the tension in this room. Besides you are so good." The woman presumably the manager said pinching Delwyn's cheek and rushing out of the room again. "So, you can play, I take it," Kevin asked. Delwyn sat down at the piano with a blank stare running across his face. He was shaking as he looked over at us and nodded his head yes. Lynn saw the nervousness and leaned over to us whispering. "Poor thing is nervous Kevin maybe we should help him out a bit," she whispered while none of us responded. "He is very good Kevin. He played for us last night. But, we are not you," I felt Kevin grow tense next to me. Now I knew why they did not get along she used him for the example of things, and he did not like to be put on the spot. I ran my hand further up his leg as he grinned over at me. Delwyn rushed out of the room as he looked over at all of us. Kevin had wanted to say something but I could feel his wanting, change into something else. I was ashamed of myself for having distracted him so easily when all he wanted to do was help. "Hey there, where's the fire?" One of the NSYNC guards asked as he pushed Delwyn back into the room. He whispered in Delwyn ear we all watched in silence. As he walked back over to the piano, he stood on the backside. "That's Lyle," JC interjected. "And they are Delwyn's parents," JC said as a man and woman walked in. Delwyn looked like he was about to fall apart as his mother handed him a piece of paper. Kevin leaned closer into the table as he watched intently. Delwyn looked at the paper with the greatest of inspection as he relaxed again. We all remained silent as I assumed all of us wanted to know what was going on. Lance walked over and sat down next him. Still none of us said a word. "What's this?" Lance said, as he pointed to the sheet of paper. Delwyn look at him through pleading eyes. "Just do it, I am sure you are a lot better than I am," he said as he hit various key. Delwyn snapped out of his trance like state and grabbed Lances hand stopping him. As he pointed to Lance's chair everyone laughed. Lance was pouting as he sat down and leaned across the table looking over at Kevin and I, we each grinned at him knowing he was only joking. "Mind if I warm up?" Delwyn asked not looking over. "Sure go ahead," Kevin replied for all of us. Lyle was grinning as Delwyn started by hitting many keys and making the most awful ungodly sounds. His mother was laughing so hard she lost her breath as I looked over at Lance who was in shock. Kevin who was also laughing while most of us remained silent. I thought of all funny things that Jonathan used to do to make me laugh while playing my mind began to drift as I felt the memories flooding back to me. 'Why didn't you tell me you could play,' I once asked him as he sat down at the piano. He was grinning. I was feeling sheepish, as I started to leave. He began to play a song called Runaway he used to sing on stage. I laughed as I turned back to him. 'So you think you could teach me,' I asked not really wanting to know how to play but only wishing to keep him close to my heart. He had saved me he had taken me in when no one else would. I was so willing to do anything to please this man I would have died for him. He grinned at me as the memories faded away and Delwyn continued to play a song so sweet and endearing. A tear made it's way down my cheek as he stopped and handed his mother the sheet music she had handed him. There was a gasp escaping my lips as I saw her crumble up the paper. Apparently, she did not like the piece after all. I loved the sound it made my past somehow gentle and pure again. I wanted that song. I made it a point in my mind to talk to him about it later this evening. Lance was grinning as the two of them sat there starting across the room at one another. Delwyn had a smirk on his face as he touched the keys again. Soon enough, he was playing 'I need you tonight' only to have Nick shift and start to sing. Kevin reached over and hushed him immediately. Delwyn played a longer version I had never heard before as we all watched intently. Delwyn looked at Lance then lead his eyes around the table as he continued to play. He slipped quickly into 'For the girl who has everything' and the pace slowed drastically. The change was drastic but meshed well with all of us as we all shifted from light, to melancholy hearts. Delwyn and Lance were staring at one another again as that manager entered the room pushing a cart to the end of the table. She walked over, placed her hand on his back, and leaned in. I could see a connection and then it hit me, 'They are related somehow'. He stopped playing as she asked him to play something. He grinned and from what I remembered of Jonathan's grin, it was not going to be funny to her at all. As she walked away he began to play Mary had a little lamb. Everyone burst into laughter. Kevin was laughing so hard he choked grabbing my hand under the table. "Why don't you go eat? I will take over from here," Mrs. Catz said. He looked up still laughing. The manager was not happy as she placed a plate of food in front of me. She was glaring mad to be exact. I'll Be There' by the group C'Note, flooded out of the piano. There was a sudden uneasiness to the guys as we all looked on and listened. Tears strolled down the woman cheeks as she listened closely as she stood by the table. Lynn reached over and rubbed her forearm. "He play's it so beautifully. It reminds me of my husband and I and how we feel for one another. Delwyn's uncle has been away for so long. It often scares me to think he is not going to be coming home," the woman said, looking down at Lynn. "Kathy I know how you feel I love my husband dearly. We spend so much time apart it hurts until I cry myself to sleep some nights," Lynn replied. `That was weird' I thought. `At least I know she is his Aunt now' Just then I heard Brian singing the words to the chorus. Cus I'll be there one day and you will be right next to me I'll be there one day and you will be right next to me Baby will you be right wear I am Will you be by my side or with another man? Just wait A little longer Girl I don't know how long. We all looked at him with an amazed look. None of us hated C'Note I never personally paid enough attention to them Kevin leaned over to my ear and whispered something to draw me out of my trance. Brian stopped singing immediately as everyone else looked at him starring. "Track five, debut album, C'Note. God I love that song. But, not as much as I love you," He said as he kissed my ear softly. Delwyn stood up and Kevin quickly pulled away. His mother sat silent as we all starred at him now walking across the room half embarrassed as he smiled from ear to ear. Kevin stood up and started to clap with vigor. We were all impressed really, soon enough we all joined him. Delwyn lightly bowed and walked the rest of the way down to his chair. Lance leaned over and kissing his cheek. Lynn shot a look at them as Delwyn's Aunt set food in front of her grinning. Kathy held her gaze, as the tension faded quickly. They laughed as we all watched them smiling from one to another. Delwyn and Lance looked so happy as they whispered back and forth. It was apparent in my mind that they had not been together for long since they had that new couple glow about them. It reminded me of how Kevin and I must look to everyone here. Then it hit me none of had been together for very long actually. We all had that glow, that comforting glow. It covers your eyes to the harshness of reality and makes everything seem all right no matter how bad it really is. Glen soon walked in breaking my trance. Todd and another one of the guards were following him, one I had never met before. Glenn was practically running as he approached Chris. Todd kept right on his heels as he threw him to the ground. Lynn stood up quickly knocking over her chair as Kathy set the remaining food down on a cart. Chris Jumped on Todd's back as the rest of us froze not knowing what to do next. "What the hell is going on here!" Kathy shouted. The Piano stopped playing as Mrs. Catz watched the havoc unfold. Chris flew back into Delwyn throwing him forwards across the table. Lance pulled Delwyn into his arms and rubbing his head comforting him. Kevin stood and ran over to where Glenn was now pinned to the ground face first. Kevin looked at Chris with questioning eyes on the floor. Delwyn physically held Lance back, as he was now ready to hurt Todd. The look on his face kept us all calm, for someone who had just gotten hit in the head. Kevin looked at the situation carefully. As if to be trying to figure out what to do next. Glenn now screamed for Todd to let him up. "Let me up! If I am not welcome, I will just leave. You will never hear from me again!" He screamed as Chris moved to help the other guard pushed Chris back away. Lyle immediately reacted. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Enough has already happened here and you don't want me to hurt you!" Lyle said, as he walked over to help Chris. Kevin was in shock as he visibly saw all of NSYNC grinning now. JC stood up, walked over to Kevin, and grabbed his shoulder squeezing it lightly. I knew it was the only way to make it all right. They had to stand together; they had to work it out, as a team. Father figure to Father figure, was the only way they would be able to calm everyone. Glenn winced in pain below Todd's weight. Kevin stepped aside as JC leaned over Todd, yet he was right there just in case something went wrong. The second guard tried to step forwards as Lyle placed his hand in the middle of his chest and shoved him back lightly. Kevin and JC held their ground. "I warned you now you will listen to me or there will be a price to pay. Chris isn't this your friend that you invited to breakfast." Lyle asked as the guard shoved his way forwards. JC reached out to Todd's shoulder. Kevin turned and wagged his finger back and forth at the subdued guard telling him no it was going to happen. Lyle shoved him hard into a table set up just behind us holding more trays of food. There was a crash as food flew all over Todd, Glenn, and JC. Kevin reached out to Chris who did not move. I was now on my feet ready to act. I knew in my heart, they needed my ability to mediate this or it would not work out. Delwyn stood suddenly as no one noticed I had to do something but what. He was not moving he had his eyes closed as he just stood there. He was shaking. I knew this was too much for him. This room, this anger, this rage. It had all been too much. From his gentle nature, no one had considered any of these things. No one consider how Breakfast would affect him in this room, no one. He suddenly turned and opened his eyes standing over Todd and Glenn. Neither of them moved as he reached out. His hand touched Todd's shoulder now as he pulled at Todd. Nothing was going to move him as Kevin reached out to Delwyn's shoulder to stop him. Glenn struggled again crying as Chris was now being held back himself. "Get off of him," Delwyn said, calmly. I was amazed at his actions. Now everyone was standing and walking over closer. "I am doing my job and you will keep your distance if you know what is good for you." Todd spat out. "Get off of him!" Delwyn said as his face changed with the determination matched in his voice. "What is good for me is to clear up your misconceptions," He continued, Todd looked over his shoulder glaring angrily with hate in his eyes. I wanted to run over and kick his ass. I wanted to stop him. Todd had never acted like this before. I had known him for some time now and I had never seen this side of him. "Get the hell away or you will be next. You don't even know him!" Todd shouted. Kevin grabbed Delwyn's shoulder again, as Lance now stood. They both watched closely as Delwyn would not back away. "If you do not get off of him you will learn to regret it," Delwyn said sternly. "Get off of him Todd!" AJ shouted standing next to me. We all watched carefully as Todd stood up and pulled Glenn up holding his arms behind his back. I saw the tension not lifting, as Glenn's face seemed to be covered in dirt now. I walked up to them as Kevin tried to stop me. I was determined to bring some of the dignity back to Glenn he had done nothing wrong. Kevin's did not understand my intentions as he held his hand in my way but I just pushed it aside. Kevin was now angered, but I knew I was doing the right thing. If this were me, I would hope to have someone take care of me this way. "Todd start explaining," Kevin said as Lance tried to get Delwyn to sit down. He had a chair pulled out behind him. But from the look of the heartache he had to deal with he just could not take anymore. He grabbed his jacket and headed over to the door. Lance was confused and astonished, it was not his fault but he felt he had just lost Delwyn, until I grabbed his arm and held him firm in his place. I watched closely as Delwyn turned to watch as Todd began to explain Lance shifted from angry to content as he saw a small smile on Del's face. "He was taking pictures of all of you sitting here from the door. I had just walked in and caught him when he bolted to here. I just wanted to make sure he was on the up and up. But, if he was why was he so determined to get away," He said. He looked at me closely as I had a wet napkin wiping at the dirt trying to clean him up around his eyes where the tears had made small amount of muddy smears. Glenn smiled at the care he was being shown. I knew I was doing the right thing as Kevin placed his hand on my back showing me no anger any longer. "Because I asked him too," Chris said as everyone turned to face him now. "You asked him to take pictures of us," I questioned in fear. "Yes for my gift after the tour I always try to give something to the other groups we tour with," He explained as he offered Glenn a seat only to have Todd shake his head at him. "Look, Chris you should have said something to the rest of us first," Lance interjected as we all agreed. "Well, shit it was not like we have had a calm moment for me to tell any of you. And since when do we have to clear everything we do with each other. Man I know we are all supposed to act like brothers but we are all accusing each other of all kind of crazy shit lately. I mean no one has said a nice thing to anyone lately. Hell, Delwyn can't even take it any more," Chris said. "What is that supposed to mean," Lance yelled. "He left didn't he," Chris responded as Lynn walked out of the room. "Where is she going," JC asked. "She is going to make sure he is all right since no one else did," Kevin responded looking directly at Lance. Brian and Blake both began to clap as Michael took a seat next to them at the table. "Bravo, Bravo! I can't wait to see what act two is like," Blake shouted as Brian laughed next to him. "Delwyn will be fine now all of you sit I have to feed you this food and get you the hell out of here soon or you will all be late and it will look like it is my fault," Kathy said. She was practically pushing Kevin and I back to our seats as I began to laugh hysterically. "I thought having Lynn around was bad," I laughed out to my demise as Justin immediately turned on me. "Watch it Scott. That's my mom and she means well," he yelled. "Well she is a control freak if you ask me," AJ said as he walked over next to Michael saving my ass. "Ok everyone enough of that. You all have had a bad start of it today, but there is no need to take pot shots at the woman," Mr. Catz said. "Yes, I agree I spent time with her last night and if it had not of been for her, we probably would not be on speaking terms," Mrs. Catz said pointing from her husband to herself. "Ok, she is right. Lynn and I have not always been on good terms. But, who else of all of us could put up with as much shit as we give her," Howie said taking his seat again. JC and Justin looked at one another in silence for quite some time as we watched them. It seemed like forever when they both finally noticed us starring. Lance became increasingly uneasy as he starred at the empty chair next to him. He stood up as we watched him start to head out of the room. Mrs. Catz called him to her side. "Lance I know my Del better than anyone here. Yes, including you and he is just trying to get his head cleared. A lot has happened to him. He needs less turmoil and he has had nothing but just that. Go to him tell him how you feel. I can see you care for him so can all of us here I am sure," I was listening intently as Kevin sighed next to me. I grabbed his hand. "I know all he needs right now is for you to be by him, he needs you. He needs to know you do care. It is not doubt of you per say but doubt of himself," she hugged him as Mr. Catz cleared his throat and pointed to the door. "Kicking me out already Dad," Lance asked as Mrs. Catz and Kathy laughed. The rest of the meals arrived and we ate. Nothing was going to stop us from getting to the promotional stuff today not even time itself. Soon enough JC was finished with his food and talking to Chris and Glenn as they discussed a side tour to the Hotel to get a change of clothes. Brian, AJ, Michael, and Blake sat talking about the local clubs and where they wanted to go before leaving town. Brian kept looking over at Kevin and I and grinning. Secretly I think he wanted to thank me for Blake but I was hoping that would never come. I had only known Blake a little while and what I did know no longer fit. He was now dating a man. He was no longer saying he was straight. He was now with Brian. I had nothing to do with it; it was all Blaise's fault. This reminded me I had to call him since they had not even told him they were leaving town. I pulled out my cell phone and began to dial as Kevin looked at me questioningly. "Hello Blaise," I said as he grinned next to me. He motioned over the guys as I told Blaise of us making it to San Francisco. "Well Blaise, I know you have not gone to the club yet but." I had no idea what to say as Kevin took the phone form me. Justin, Glenn, and Chris got curious and headed over to us now. "Blaise this is Kevin. You may want to get those divorce papers together after all," Kevin said grinning. "What you gonna come rescue me on a stallion or something Kevi," I heard Blaise reply as Brian heard it he laughed. "Well if it's a white stallion you want me on. I guess Scott better get his saddle on," Kevin shot back sending me over the edge in laughter. "Now I know you didn't call Mama Gypsy here to tell me that he was a stud. Because I already knew that," Kevin almost didn't laugh until Blaise clarified the comment. "It was a joke Kevin." "Ok, your right we didn't just call to say hello and talk about him being hung," I was blushing as Kevin made yet again another pun. "We have a little surprise for you. We kind of took hostages as we left town," Kevin replied as Michael took the phone in hand. "Hello Mommy Uncle AJ keeps spanking me. I promised not to tell, but I like it so no telling Daddy ok," He said, AJ blushed and a crimson read Justin lost interest as he noticed JC standing by the doorway listening to something. "Like we couldn't here you screaming," Howie said to AJ. "Nope not going to tell Daddy wouldn't want to give him any idea's now would we. Do me a favor put Brian on real quick if he's there," Blaise asked. "Sure," Michael said, handing Brian the phone. "Hello Mammy," Brian said. "Ok this is going to get old, I have how many children now. Look Brian, I wanted to apologize about Blake," Brian had the oddest look on his face as we all watched him on the phone. "He is such a good guy, but he was confused. I wish I had of never played the joke on any of you," Brian cut him off. "Actually Blaise I have to tell you something. He was the best thing that has ever happened to me. In fact, he still is and hopefully will always be. Look I have to give the phone up but you did good hun." With that said he handed the phone to Blake who looked like he was going to cry. JC walked out of the room now. "Hey Honey I wanted to thank you for finally showing me I needed happiness," I was laughing as Blake's expression changed. "I think he passed out guys," He whispered looking at Kevin and I. I snatched the phone back. "Blaise breathe dear," I said as there was nothing but silence. Then out of no where he began to laugh hysterically into the phone. "Look the rest of our group just walked in we will call you latter." I said as he continued to laugh, I hung up. The four of them walked in. Delwyn and Lance seemed relived somehow as they grinned at one another. "Do we look that happy," I whispered to Kevin. "I don't know about look but I feel that happy when we are together. I don't even think I knew what happiness was until there was you," He said kissing my cheek. JC walked over to them as they sat down he was asking them something as I looked at the time on my watch. We were going to be late for sure, if we didn't leave soon it was already 10:15. JC laughed as Kevin and I walked over to the three of them. Kevin placed his arm around my shoulder as I pointed at my watch. "I see we have all gotten back to normal around here," Kevin said, looking at Delwyn. "Yes we have," Lance said. "Good because we wouldn't want to loose you. Especially since you can play like you can," he winked as I squeezed his arm. "Scott you have no reason to be jealous. Delwyn is a good Piano player I liked it a lot and I should be able to tell him," Kevin said. I could see he was joking but I didn't want to play right now. I figured why embarrass the poor guy. He had already been through enough. "I know that but you should let him eat and stop embarrassing him," I said, making my point. "Well people we have to head out now or we will never get there. Del your aunt told us to have you eat first, but we are already late getting out of here," JC said as he stepped into his Dad roll again. Kevin grinned as he looked at the same qualities in himself. I was laughing inside as I actually caught Kevin looking him over. It was funny how I could read him so easily. The three of us started to walk away as JC turned back and headed right towards them again. Kevin and I walked towards the door and headed out into the main section of the restaurant. There we found the waiter with Kathy sitting in a booth. "Noel you can't go with them and that is final," She said as she stood up and walked back into the dinning hall. Kevin and I took it upon our selves to sit down with him and wait for everyone else to exit. I had a sneaky suspicion we would end up talking about what just happened as Kevin sighed and looked at the boy. I was uneasy with a feeling we were about to pry open a can of worms as I saw Noel start to cry. "Noel is everything alright," I asked as he brightened immediately. Kevin noticed the change and grinned at him instantly. This only made him blush. "I was talking to Lynn earlier and she said I could visit Delwyn latter but Mom said no," He said, and I immediately had the sinking feeling Lynn was someone I did not know after all. "So, why would you want to visit Delwyn," I heard Joey ask as he stood behind us now. "He is the best cousin I have. He loves me when no one else will," I was amazed at the conviction in his eyes. He had to be around 20 to 25 years old yet he talked like he was a child, sweet and innocent. "Your Mom does have her reason I am sure," Kevin said as he held my hand openly. "She just wants me to work for her. She really doesn't have any other reason." There was a long pause as I saw Lynn walk up behind him. "I really want to visit like Lynn said, but if Mom says no Mom means no. I learned that the hard way a long time ago," he said pointing to a scar on his arm. I shrunk inside thinking about the woman he was talking about. She had seemed so nice, but her son most certainly was telling the truth. Lynn had a look of horror on her face. It was quickly replaced with one of determination as Mr. and Mrs. Catz approached her now. "Lynn can I talk to you a moment," Mrs. Catz asked. "Why," Lynn asked. Mrs. Catz seemed thrown by the comment as she visibly took a step backwards. Soon enough everyone was now pouring out of the back room. Kevin and I stood up to walk out as Lynn cleared her throat. "Kevin I trust that you and JC can handle everything else for the day. I have some things to take care of," she said pointing to Noel. "Um, yeah you know we can Lynn, it's no problem. I wish I could be involved more," Kevin replied as she walked over to the both of us. "Take care of Delwyn there is something about his family that is so wrong. I am going to resolve this. I will fill you both in latter," she said as she hugged the two of us and I certainly felt bad for how I had treated her earlier. I felt a presence near by as I turned to watch Delwyn and Lance exit the restaurant I wondered if he heard a word of what we had said. We made it to the mall on time minus Chris, Todd and Glenn they didn't show up until it was nearly over with. I had a good time watching them all interact with the crowd as BSB signed there new CD and handed out several pre copies. I signed a few autographs to the fans that actually knew who I was otherwise I spent the afternoon watching my charismatic dancers sign more autographs than I did. I lightly laughed to myself noticing Michael flirting with as many girls as he could. When they would give him a number, he would wait until they left and hand them off to Joey. While at the same time Blake would hand them to Brian who would in turn hand them to Howie. We sat there forever signing our lives away, taking picture, and hugging people. It was amazing I only hoped that in the future things would not change. I loved my life and loved my man. The afternoon went fast, but not fast enough for some, Delwyn went off shopping. I guess for the people watching it must have been boring. He soon returned empty handed and I assumed he had a good time; he looked content. When we returned to the Hotel, we all met up in Lance's room. "Ok what are we doing tonight?" AJ asked as he and Michael sat holding hands on the couch. "Well I think we should split up since there are so many of us. But I really want to spend it together at the same time," Brian said, as he sat minus Blake at his side. Just as Blake and Justin walked in together I was about to ask him where he was. To me it looked like they were flirting. `How odd' I thought as we all continued to talk. "Delwyn you are from here what do you suggest?" Lance asked. "I am usually talking to you on my computer right now or waiting to talk to you," he laughed out. I looked at Kevin and remembered that not so long ago, wishing he would talk to me when we would work together. I was grinning and I knew it when Kevin caught me starring at him. He leaned over and kissed me quickly. "Ok, that leaves the local out for decision making." Howie said as he sat down next to Brian. Justin and Blake continued their conversation out on the balcony now. "All of the computers are on the bus anyhow," Joey said sadly. "No we still have one around here," Lance said as he had a devious grin on his face. He moved a Jacket from a chair next to the bed. "How did you get that? Did my parents give it to you," Delwyn asked. Delwyn tackled him onto the bed and kissed him hard, we could see their tongues explored each other's mouths. Delwyn pulled back looking at him longingly. "When I went to get my jacket at your house. You were already in the limousine and well I knew it was what you wanted to take when you looked back into your room. It is how we met," Lance said, looking up. "Well that explains what the locals want to do," I burst out as Kevin grabbed me. "Maybe the out of towner's would like to join in," We began to now kiss with passion as pillows hit us from Lance and Delwyn's direction. Everyone was laughing accept for Joey and Howie. "I think that is our cue to make plans for the straight guys to go out and get some honeys," Howie said, as Joey agreed and grabbed his hand. "If we can't beat them, you know we could always.. Nah' your not my type," Joey said as Chris walked into the room and stopped dead in his tracks. "Ok I missed something important didn't I?" Chris said, as I began to laugh again. "Where trying to figure out what to do tonight," Brian said as Blake now jumped into his lap. "What was that for," Brian asked. "Thought I would keep you company." Blake said, giving Brian his I'm so cute face. "Should have thought of that earlier," Brain said, as he pushed Blake onto Howie's lap. Brian stood up, looked at the rest of us before glaring at Justin, and rushed out of the room. I had to make sure he was all right as I stood up I squeezed Kevin's hand and rushed out after him. In seconds flat, he was heading into a room just down the hall. It was the one Lynn, Kevin, and I, had spent time in earlier. I walked in to find Brian crying laying face down on the bed. "Brian," I said softly as I sat down next to him on the bed. "Scott, I thought I could deal with all of this. But, I just can't. He is using me. I can feel it. I know it somewhere in the back of my mind. But, he is not that kind of person. It is a survival tactic. He is flirting and playing with everyone and there I sit just watching. I guess I am over reacting. But, what do I do to stop from feeling like this," Brian said as he remained facing away from me I felt bad almost like it was my fault. "Brian you two are just starting out. Things have not even been settled as to what you do and do not like in each other yet. What makes you think he is going to do anything with anyone else. He is just trying to fit in he needs you just as much as you need him. You need to talk to him not get mad Try to understand," I pleaded Blake's case not even knowing if that was the case. "I know I am over reacting. But, what you don't know is I have been so lonely for so long and he has made me see what I was missing," Brian said sitting up now and facing me. "So, tell him otherwise you will lose him. I'm sure he feels the same way. I mean hell up until the night you two met he was straight in his mind," I said as he grinned at me. "Well if he was straight, and I don't think he was at all. Then he had certainly dreamt about having a relationship with a guy. Because god only knows the boy is gifted it the bedroom, if you know what I mean," He replied. I was somewhat in shock as I sat there starring at him. "What did you really think all we have done is cuddle," he laughed. "We have not done much, but what we have done is mind blowing," he said trailing off in thought. "Brian I do not need the details thank you. If you keep it up I am going to have to tell you about Kevin just to shut that hole of yours up," I said laughing. "Hey this hole of mine pays the bills just like... We should go back I don't want to lose him," he said seriously. I hugged him before standing up from the bed. "Thank you tell them I will be right back please," he said as I stood up pulling away. `Oh great to late Nicholas' I thought as I saw him coming down the hall with a smug look on his face. I couldn't help myself as I gave him dirty looks hoping he would avoid me. "Ok well lets go to the Hard Rock it is supposed to be cool here," Blake said as I walked back in the room starring at him. "It is actually," Delwyn laughed as I sat down on Kevin's side of the bed opposite Lance and Delwyn. "I thought you spent all your time pineing away for me," Lance asked. "Babe it is a laptop and I could have been talking to you from anywhere," Delwyn laughed. Lance immediately gave him a sad puppy dog look. This brought me to laughing inside as I watched them wrestle around with a magazine. It looked to me like Delwyn was going to punish the puppy it almost sent me into fits of laughter. Lance fell off the bed after the first swing I lost it then. Everyone else joined in as Delwyn had a look of fear and shock on his face. Lance was laughing with everyone now, as Delwyn sighed and looked at him lovingly. Blake looked at me trying not to ask if everything was going to be ok. Of course he had to do was open his mouth and ask. I just looked at him and sighed heavily I was about to laugh until I saw Brian walk back into the room. Blake shifted up onto the arm of the couch as Brian sat back down in his seat. They looked at each other briefly. "Brian can I talk to you outside for a second," Delwyn asked pulling Lance back onto the bed. Brian looked stood up to head to the balcony. Kevin looked at Delwyn and gave him an approving look. Lance and Delwyn kissed quickly as he stood up and headed out the door. He closed the door separating us from the conversation. Nick took some initiative as he walked back in the room and headed for the sliding glass door. I was hesitant to stop him as Kevin places his lips on mine to stop me from saying anything. He pulled open the door and cleared his throat. There stood Nick as if ready to say something. Brian looked up and we all watched. "Go away Nick!" Brian shouted. Blake ran over pushed Nick out of the way and shut the door. "Brian I am sorry," we heard as the door closed. "No you're not Blake," Nick mumbled as he gathered up his balance again and headed over to the couch where Brian had been sitting. Delwyn opened the door and stepped in shaking his head in confusion. Every head turned to look. "Can we just go get something to eat. I am starved," Delwyn said, Lance smiled at me and stood up next to him. "Ok everyone Hard Rock sound good to you?" Lance asked. We all agreed and stood up to leave the two there, to talk it out without further interruption. I watched as Delwyn looked back to where Blake and Brian were sitting with their backs to us. Lance grabbed his hand and pulled him away before he could close the door. No one spoke as we all headed down the elevator to the awaiting Cargo Van. I was still trying to figure out what the out come would be over all I like having them together. It kept Blake out of my hair to have it that way, which gave me time for Kevin. "Delwyn since you know where it is why don't you drive," Kevin said tossing the keys to him. "Kevin I can't drive, it would take hours and it is already 6:45," he said. Kevin shrugged and took the keys back as they passed each other. "I can set up front and give you directions though," Delwyn said as Lance gave him the sad face again. "Yeah Kevin if he drives we might die," JC boasted as he stepped into the back seat. Kevin did not ask he just drove through all the traffic across town to the restaurant. Delwyn gave him direction while staring back at Lance on occasion. We all looked out the windows trying to see as much of the city as we could along the way. The traffic had been a nightmare it took a lot longer than any of us would have guessed. We fond parking and immediately headed to the front entrance. There was a line already formed out the door as we saw this, each of us silently wished we had of thought of somewhere else to go. Delwyn pushed ahead of everyone dragging Lance behind him we all followed his lead. Heads turned, we were being pushed, and pulled in different directions, it felt like we were in a sea of people. As soon as the girl realized what was happening to us she let us pass through the side ropes. "Gabby, I want you to meet," she stopped him. "Delwyn I know who they are but you picked the worst time it's 8 O'clock dinner rush is still going strong. We are beyond full. There is nothing I can do," she said. "Thanks Gabby. Is there another way out or are we trapped?" he asked. "Right over that way," She said pointing towards the back of the restaurant. Delwyn hesitated as a group of girls got closer to us. We all tried to be calm and began to talk among ourselves. Lance was obviously covering up something as he talked to Kevin. No doubt in my mind, he noticed the girls as well. "Thanks Gabby," Delwyn replied as he pulled us along through the restaurant. I saw Todd sitting at the bar conversing with Lyle and another man, a familiar man. The new guard had made such a mess at the restaurant at breakfast. They seemed to be having a heated discussion. Probably about what had happened earlier, I thought as I followed close behind Kevin. As we got closer to the bar, I noticed it was indeed not the man from earlier but someone familiar but why I had no idea. We caught a few glances here and there as we all headed across the main room. Delwyn continued until people of all sorts suddenly surrounded us. Everything went in to a havoc state of mind as they were coming form everywhere. We had been noticed, it was too late to get away, and there was no where to go. AJ and Michael made a break for it as they headed towards Delwyn who had turned around to see us all standing there helpless. Lance was standing with Kevin. They looked like they were about to run until a waitress grabbed his arms and kissed him pulling him away from Kevin. He blushed as the other girls around them began to cheer. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen. The front doors closed quickly, Gabby laughing at the top of her lungs. People headed over to us in droves now. Lance had begun to relax until he noticed a younger girl about 14 approach him. She was carrying something but she passed up Lance and headed straight for Nick, Kevin, and I we each of took step back. She was carrying a box with a cake in it. But it was no ordinary cake as it was the shape of a Bright Red Witch. An older man walked up behind Lance he was grinning form ear to ear as he grabbed his shoulders and turned him around. Lance had a look of shock written all over his face. This was not going well, we were being recognized all over. Delwyn watched in horror of the situation as AJ and Michael tried to hide behind him staying out of sight. Lyle and Todd made their way over towards us grinning. Lance stood still for a moment at the man starred at him. The man rubbed Lances upper arms now as I watched closely looking to Delwyn and then back to Lance this was not going well. Lance was overwhelmed. I noticed Kevin uneasy about the girl still as he suddenly was moving in her direction. Kevin stepped up to the girl grabbed the box out of her hands and threw it down on the floor. Lance hugged the man standing in front of him and now I was concerned. I was trying to figure out which to handle first Kevin or Lance. Nick tried to walk away only to slip and fall in the cake now all over him. I watched as Delwyn made his way through the crowd to Lance's side but went unnoticed. Justin was signing autographs nearby as Joey was shaking his pen to get it to work it released all over the front of his shirt. I looked over to Lance as he gave Delwyn the brush off it broke my heart that he could so easily push him away. Kevin was pissed as I pulled him along through the crowd. Lance did not notice us walk away as Delwyn followed us with his head down pulling on the back of my shirt. "Nick what the hell happened to you," I asked in shock he had handfuls of cake and his shoes have red frosting all over them. I was worried when he didn't respond. Howie was soon following us as well he had made his way around the other side of the bar. "What the hell is going on around here," Howie ask as he caught up to us. "I don't know why don't you ask Lance," Delwyn said as we all looked back and saw the two embraces again. I was beginning to get angry at the way he was ignoring Delwyn, for this man in his latter years. Justin noticed where we were looking and rushed Delwyn to a near by corner. "Delwyn you don't know who that is do you?" Justin said as he shook his head no. "That's his father. What did Lance do to you," he said concerned, as the tears now flowed freely from Delwyn. I wanted to go over and drag Lance to him immediately until I noticed my own problems. Kevin was shaking as the anger grew. I watched as varied amounts of people actually were laughing at all of us now. None of them were really fans at all. Maybe a few but who, you could not tell. They were all laughing. Laughing and pointing at all of us. Kevin turned towards me now, I wanted only to be able to reach out to him and hold him. We started to walk across the room trying to get out as I heard Justin shouting over the taunting. "His father doesn't know," Justin shouted over the crowd as Lance's eyes shot wide open. There was a sudden silence in the room. Lances father was mad as hell as he heard Justin shout. "Delwyn it will all be," Delwyn cut him off. "Over soon just leave me alone!" Delwyn shouted back. There was a crash of water flowing over Delwyn's head as he tried to get away though a back door. Everyone turned to see his frozen expression as he ran inside the room just past our view. Lance made his way across the floor. He had gotten away from his father, punching Justin in the chest as he passed him. The door flew open as Delwyn stood there in tears with a look of hate and rage on his face. He was about to lose his mind. I could see it on his face. Lance no longer smiled he just starrred at Delwyn. `Do something show him you care, damn you' I thought. He was not reacting as Delwyn pushed past him and headed out towards the front door. Kevin grabbed his arm to stop him as he passed by. Instead, Delwyn slipped on the water and fell on the tiled floor. He scrambled to his feet as the laughter returned. He was panicking as I felt for him and tried to grab him to stop him he ran for the door. Lynn grabbed his arm turning him around easily this time, while Kevin and I stood there holding our ground. Glenn and Chris walked into the restaurant as Lynn talked to him. Chris was not laughing as he stood there looking at the mayhem. Chris stuck his hand out to Delwyn as he saw Lance's father heading over to them I was panicking now as I looked at Kevin for reassurance of some kind. Lynn quickly hugged Delwyn as she pushed him off towards Chris. Chris helped him up onto the stoup and they headed for the front door. I could only see what was happening at a distance as we made our way back across the room to where AJ was still standing. We only had a few seconds of piece as I heard Delwyn shout from across the room. "Why is this happening!" I saw a red Balloon floating across the room towards us. Lance cried on Kevin's shoulder immediately as his world crumbled around him. Nick was practically laughing his ass off until he saw the Balloon heading his way. Todd ran up from out of no where reached out and snatched it out of the air. He popped it easily in his hands. Mr. Bass joined us from the crowd. "Lance what is he to you!" He shouted, spitting with each word. "I love him dad," he said and walked away from his father and everything he knew. He headed around the backside of the bar and towards the front entrance. There was anger written all over his face. I have never seen such a change before in my life. One of the greatest disrespects for a man he had thought to be so caring and loving. He had lost his family at the time it happened and he had grasped the out come of his decision. He was heading to Delwyn his future and his heart. He was going to save the one who needed him. I rubbed Kevin's back silently in the shadows of the corner now as we watched the scene unfold. We watched as Chris pleaded with Delwyn as he sat on the floor holding his head in his hands. Lynn tried to help him up it was of no use, as he did not respond he was lost in a world of desperation and angst. Tears began to flow past his cheeks and broke past the edges of his chin. Lance's hand wiped them away as Delwyn looked up at him. Lance stood above him with the same tears. Tears of hurt, pain, loss, and suffering `Tears bound by love of a broken heart' I thought as Kevin leaned back against me slightly. "Why is this happening to me!" Delwyn shouted as Mr. Bass got closer making his way to them. "So, I come to visit you and this is where I find you and with this. this." Lynn was mad as she turned around and faced the man. He still looked over her with hatred on his face. Lynn slapped him hard to the face. I looked on to see the man who had been sitting with Todd and Lyle. His familiarity to me some how seemed hurtful. Lance's father took another step forwards. Lance attempted to help Delwyn up only to have his hand brushed aside. Delwyn stood and opened the door easily. The crowd cleared to let him pass. Lance did not follow immediately and Lynn and the guard held his father back. Lance looked from the door back to his father, then back again. "If you walk out that door you'll lose me and the whole family forever. You'll lose us all, you will be on your own for good. Do you understand me," Mr. Bass shouted. "Yes Dad I do and it is sad. Because even after what you have done here, I still love you, and view you as the same person you were yesterday. I guess this is goodbye, remember always that I do love you," he turned and walked out as the crowd in shock cleared for him to leave. "You can't do this you can't," Mr. Bass shouted as Lynn and the guard let him go the crowd filled the empty space on the other side of the door hindering his exit. He would be able to catch him yes but he would have to run to do so. I looked back at most of us standing by this closet. No one was without tears. Nick sat on the floor holding his head in his hands looking down at the tiles. His hand covered with red cake I walked over to him and tried to help him up only to have him slip on the frosting on his shoes pulling me down with him. The manager came over to us quickly. "We are very sorry the surprise party did not work out for you. If we could work something out, we would how bout I take you to your seats now," she said pointing to a long table against the wall. "We would love that but first I have a question for you?" I asked. "Ask away," She replied. "Who made arraignment's for this party," I asked. She turned pointing towards the bar. Back on the Hotel Balcony "Blake I'm scared sometimes," Brian paused. "My greatest happiness and sadness resides in the mind when I am with you. I love you so much it hurts." "Brian," tears formed in his eyes. "Did you just say you are in love with me," Blake asked. "Yes I did. I meant it too. I just thought it was too soon to tell you until I talked to Scott today," Brian said. "Scott told you that you love me," Blake said, he did not look at Brian. He was joking but Brian did not take it that way as he went to defend his words. "No, I talked to him about how you make me feel and how scared I am of losing you to another guy," Brian replied. "Do you really think I would leave the only man I have ever loved in my life?" Blake asked looking over at Brian with the tears coming on strong now. "I would hope you would not leave me. I may be a jealous pain in the butt, but I have a great personality. Did you really say you love me or were you just being nice, do you mean it," Brian asked. "Ok, lets get serious here," Blake said as he grabbed Brian and pulled him practically into his lap. "Yes, we should be serious, here and now," Brian said looking directly at Blake now. "Brian, there was nothing before you and quite frankly there will be nothing after you, when it comes to love. I know this is all still new to me, and I am scared too. I know I am a flirt. But, I know whose heart I belong too. That heart is yours no one else's. It will always be yours. I love you Brian," Blake said kissing Brian's forehead. "Blake you amaze me. Every time I think I am losing you, to someone or something else, you relieve all of my fears. You comfort me when I need comforting. Do you remember when I told you? Space is not something I need. I need to know I have someone; I need that I know. It is weird and you can laugh but you are that someone you are the one I love," Brian paused. "I love you Blake." Brian said as he leaned forwards and kissed Blake on the lips. His mouth was over powered as Blake's tongue searched out his tongue. Their passion grew instantly as they now lay silently kissing between the two deck chairs. "We should go inside," Brian said as Blake looked into his eyes. "I just want to hold the man I love under the stars for a while. Please?" Blake asked and kissed Brian's neck. Brian did not respond, as they lay silent and snuggled down into one another. Soon sleep comes to the comforted souls of the two lovers. In the time of their dreams and intruder lurks in the shadows. The Sliding Glass door is silently shut behind them and locked. Out on the balcony Brian and Blake still lay there holding one another in the night air. The door was locked shut as Delwyn looked around the room he was frozen in fear as we had our final joke played upon us. There was a red balloon tied to the center of each of the two beds. Brian and Blake jumped up and pounded on the door to get in, a shadowed figure bolted towards the doorway. Delwyn stepped aside as Lance went crashing to the floor. Brian and Blake continued to pound to be let in. To Be Continued Up next: "Encircled Truth' And `Love, Passion, Valor, and Trust" Oh and a little more of the Joker series is left. Yes the installs will get smaller. Let me know what you think writergray@aol.com Authors notes: See Blake is a good guy and Lynn is not as bad as we all would like to make her out to be LOL... To that special secret reader thanks again for your support it has been a pleasure writing this. Alternate ending sent to me by my proofreader. Brian: Tries opening the door. It's locked* Brian: Darn, we're locked out. Maybe someone will come open it. *Blake notices red balloon above bed* Blake: Oh look! A red balloon! I LOVE balloons! Brian: AAAAAHHHH! *Climbs on hand rail only to be stopped by Blake* A reader asked me about this scene. Apparently, there are a few people out there that like Blake a lot. Thanks again. My favorite Blake and Brian moment: "Blake I spend most night alone here in my room. It used to be Nick and me until he decided he needed his space and well now, we all have separate rooms. I get so lonely some times. Space is not something I need. I need to know I have someone I guess, but when we met tonight. I don't know" Brain stood motionless as tears filled his eyes. "Blake tonight has made me so happy and I have never been happy really on the road. I have Kevin but..." Brain stopped as Blake wrapped his arms around him from behind. Brain's tears now fell freely as they had been on the verge the whole time. They stood like this for a few moments before Blake turned Brain around in his arms. "Brian I want you to know I will never be able to understand how you touched my heart. But no one has ever made me feel the way you have tonight," Blake leaned in and kissed a surprised Brain. Brian opened his eyes and stared into Blake's eyes. "Blake, I don't want this to end. I know just being with you is enough to make me keep going. I know this is all so sudden. But, I can feel it. I believe it is right. Will you stay with me tonight? Nothing has to happen. But, I know one thing for sure I want you here with me." Brain said as Blake grinned and pulled him in close before answering him. "Do you really mean it Brain. You have to tell me the truth," Blake asked as he held him tight. "I mean it. I just want to be with you," Brain said as he hugged Blake. "Then it is settled," Blake said.
