Date: Sun, 6 Dec 1998 19:52:03 EST From: BBBRok1057@aol.com Subject: Bad Boy B-Rok Alright, so I told all of you there wasn't going to be another part to Bad Boy B-Rok. I lied.) Anyway, I got so many encouraging e-mails telling to write more, and quite a few death-threats from Chris to write more. JK I decided after reading all the e-mails, which are coming in a steady flow still, to write another section to tighten up all those loose ends everyone is saying I left. I really enjoy writing about Matt & Brian very, very much, so I'm glad that ya'll enjoying reading about them. I hope that this section clears the air about how Matt & Brian ended up and doesn't leave any loose ends. I know that I am probably wishing in vain that this will clear everything up, but I'm sure I'll still get some requests to write more about them. However, THIS IS THE VERY VERY LAST SECTION!!!!! LOL Once again, I can't stress enough how good I have felt getting all the TERRIFIC e-mails and IM's and chat requests in regards to this story. It is always a picker-upper to read e-mail from a "fan". Okay, so don't read this story if you are under 18 yrs of age, it is illegal to read them in your state province, whatever. If you find homo-sex repulsive in every way--read on and open your mind. It would be nice to know I widened some narrow minds. Anyway, everyone enjoy the VERY LAST section to the story. If you want to e-mail me to let me know you liked the story, give constructive criticism, or to just say "howdy", you can e-mail me at my new address, BBBRok1057@aol.com, or if you have ICQ, my id is 20560498!! Bad Boy B-Rok (Part 18) By-Leprechaun When I got outside of my hotel, it was pouring down rain. It didn't take me ten minutes to hail a cab, direct him where to take me, and to get up to the third floor of the Carlton. I stood outside Brian's door for a moment, just staring at the numbers printed on the front of the door. I had to force myself to raise my fist and knock on the door. I waited for a few minutes, then knocked again. Finally, I heard the creak of the bed, then heard Brian click on the bedside lamp. I contemplated running for the nearest elevator, but stood my ground. "Matt?!?" Brian immediately woke up when he saw me standing there. "Brian, I don't know what I'm doing here, but I knew I had to come over." I tried not to cry. "If you don't know what you're doing here, I don't want to talk." Brian looked at me. "I know what I'm doing here, I just...I don't know what I want to say." I looked down at my feet. "Listen, we both knew this was gonna happen." Brian started to close the door. "I just want to know what I did to make you break up with me. I mean, I know it was completely my fault, but I can't figure out what I did." "It wasn't your fault. I love you." I broke down and started crying. "I love you, too." Brian got teary eyed. "But, you know what? It's too late. You shouldn't have given up on me like that. Besides, I'm leaving tomorrow at three in the afternoon, so it's not like it matters now anyway." "Brian, please. I'm so sorry. It wasn't your fault." I pleaded. "Matt, just go home." Brian closed the door in my face. I stood there for a moment in shock. I didn't know what to do. After a minute, it set in. I fell to my knees in the hallway. I cupped my hands over my face, and bawled my eyes out. I felt like getting up and kicking myself in the ass. This was all my fault for even breaking up with Brian in the first place. I was so busy feeling sorry for myself, that I didn't notice that Kevin was standing behind me. "Matt? What are you doing here?" Kevin knelt down next to me. "Oh, nothing. I was just coming over to see Brain real quick." I tried to keep Kevin from seeing my tear-streaked face. "Nothing my ass." Kevin reached out, grabbing my chin and turning my face towards his. "What's going on with you two?" I didn't know what to say, I just starting crying all over again. "Come here." Kevin put his arms around me and hugged me deeply. "Are you going to be okay?" "No." I sobbed like a little baby and clasped Kevin harder towards me, letting my tears make the shoulder of his shirt soggy. "Come on." Kevin lifted me up. "You can stay with me tonight." "Stay with you?" I asked apprehensively. "Yeah. Don't worry, I won't try anything." Kevin laughed. "Alright." I still hadn't let go of him. "Come on." Kevin dragged me towards his room. For some reason, I couldn't get myself to walk. Kevin, tired of trying to drag me, picked me up like a groom would his bride and carried me towards his room. Kevin reached down and turned the door knob, letting us both into his room. Once the door was closed behind us, Kevin let me down. "You're soaking wet." Kevin look down at his shirt, which was now soaked, too. "Yeah, it's raining out." I stated stupidly. "I kinda figured." Kevin smiled. "Why don't you go in and get a shower and I'll get some of my clothes out for you?" "Okay." I walked into the bathroom and stripped down. When I was done with my shower, I realized that Kevin had come in the bathroom without me knowing, and put a pair of mesh shorts and a t-shirt on the counter for me. I dried off and slipped the clothes on. They were a little baggy on me, but they were comfy and dry, and that was all that mattered. I wringed out the clothes I had on and draped them over the shower. I was about to walk out of the bathroom when I realized I had left my cigarettes in the pants pocket. I prayed that they weren't ruined. I was quite relieved when I pulled them out and they were reasonably dry. I walked out into the living room of the suite and saw Kevin sitting in the chair, reading a book in a new shirt. I walked over and sat on the couch next to where he was sitting. "So...what happened that you came out in the rain, got soppin' wet and started balling your eyes out in the hallway?" Kevin put the book down. "Brian and I broke up." I lit a cigarette. "What!?! He didn't even telling me ya'll were havin' problems." Kevin spoke with a country drawl, but city verbiage. "We weren't having problems until last night. But, then again, WE weren't exactly having problems." I tried to make it sound reasonable. "Okay. If ya'll weren't having problems, then why did you break up?" Kevin came over and sat down next to me on the couch, turning to face me. "It's complicated." I tried to change the subject. "Well, I have until three o'clock tomorrow." Kevin smiled. "Well, you know Nick hit on me the other night, right?" I asked, to which Kevin just nodded. "Well, A.J. tried the same thing last night and I was afraid that if Brian found out, it would bring about the break-up of the BSB. I didn't want that to happen." Kevin sat there and stared at me for a moment before speaking. "Matt, don't worry about the Backstreet Boys. We're like brothers, we can get through anything. But I'll tell ya' one thing." Kevin looked down at me. "What?" "We may all be like brothers, but no one in this group can give Brian what you have. So, don't throw away Brian just because your worried about his relationship with us. All of us can work through our problems, but it'll be harder for Brian to get over you." "I still can't believe that he won't let me apologize." I let a tear escape down my cheek. "Do you want me to talk to him?" Kevin put a hand on my shoulder. "NO! I don't want him to know that I told you anything." I started crying again. "Well, you know, maybe you should sleep, it's two in the morning. Maybe when you wake up, something will have changed and Brian will be ready to listen." Kevin said sensibly. "I don't want to sleep." I spoke through my sobs. "Come on." Kevin grabbed the cigarette from between my fingers and snubbed it out in the ashtray. The next thing I knew, Kevin had cradled me in his arms again and carried me off to the bed. Kevin laid me on the bed and pulled the covers up over me. He went back into the other room, turning all the lights out. I was about asleep when he crawled into the bed next to me, cuddled up next to me, and held me while I sobbed myself to sleep. The last thing I remembered was Kevin patting my hair as I drifted off to a tear- induced sleep. (Part 19) It was ten o'clock when I glanced over at the clock on the bedside table. I didn't want to leave the warm bed. All the previous night's events came back to me in waves, and I couldn't get myself to leave the shield of the covers over me. I could tell Kevin wasn't in bed with me anymore. He must've got up early and started packing or something, I thought to myself. I laid there for about fifteen minutes, with the covers over my head. I heard the bedroom door open, then felt someone sit down on the bed next to me. "Good morning, Kevin." I said through the covers. "Good Morning." I heard Brian's voice. I threw the covers off myself and looked up to see Brian's beautiful blue eyes staring down at me lovingly. "What are you doing here?" I said, agast. "Well, don't get excited or anything." Brian smiled. "I'm sorry, I, um, I expected you to be Kevin." I explained. "Yeah, I see once we broke up you jumped into the first guy's bed that let you." Brian looked serious. "What?" I couldn't believe it. "It was a joke." Brian smiled awkwardly. "Oh. Are you ready to hear me beg you to take me back." I tried to laugh. "Maybe. But you're going to have to beg really, really good." Brian kept a straight face. "Just what would that entail?" I smiled. "Uh uh uh, no hints." Brian didn't even crack a smile. I tried to think of the best line I could use to make Brian smile and stop being serious. After about twenty seconds of just staring at Brian and thinking, I busted out singing Darlin' to him. Brian immediately smiled down at me. Victory. "I just have one question for you." Brian replied once I finished. "What?" "Is there anything you CAN'T do?" Brian laughed and leaned down to kiss me, then pulled me up to hug him deeply. "It sucked, you don't have to lie." I laughed from the relief of hugging Brian again. "No, actually I don't want you getting near a mic. They might replace me." Brian laughed. "Kevin came down bright and early this morning and told me you stayed with him." "Oh?" I kept hugging Brian, hoping he wouldn't say Kevin told him what happened. "He told me what happened." Brian spoke as if he read my mind. "He did?" I pulled away from Brian and looked at him. "Yeah, but don't worry, I'm not gonna beat A.J.'s ass or anything." Brian said, then looked down. "When I found out that you broke up with me 'cause you were worried about the Backstreet Boys, I felt like an asshole for treating you bad last night." A single tear rolled down Brian's flawless face. "I love you so much." I started crying, grabbed Brian and hugged him roughly. "I love you more." Brian tried to laugh and hugged me back. Brian and I started ripping each other's clothes off right there. I didn't know if we should be making love on Kevin's bed, but since he was leaving in five hours, I didn't figure he would be using it again. Brian rubbed my aching hard on through the shorts of Kevin's I was wearing, causing me to moan loudly. I stripped the t-shirt I was wearing off over my head. Brian knelt on the floor in front of me and kissed his way down my chest. I pulled Brian back up to give him a quick kiss, then released him. Brian smiled lovingly up at me as he yanked my cock out over the waistband of the shorts. He jacked me off slowly, while staring into my eyes lovingly, then inhaled my entire cock into his mouth in one swift motion. I immediately started bucking my hips from the feeling of Brian's expert mouth on my erection. I grabbed the back of Brian's head and shoved him down until his nose was resting in my pubes. Brian pulled away long enough to take my shorts off of me completely, then resumed his suction on my cock. When I thought the feeling couldn't get any better, Brian pushed a hand underneath me, then shoved his finger in my ass. I was startled by the intrusion, bounced upward, nearly choking Brian. I settled down a bit as I got used to the feeling of Brian's finger moving in and out of my tight ass. When Brian slipped another finger into my ass, I moaned loudly, spewing my hot cum into his mouth and down his throat. "I love you." Brian slid up and planted a kiss on my lips. I fell back on the bed, exasperated. Brian climbed up to lay beside me, draping his arm over my heaving chest. We lay there for a moment. I felt Brian's warm sweet breath flowing across my neck. "Brian?" "What, sweety?" Brian smiled at me. "I want you inside me." I whispered. "All you had to do was ask." Brian laughed, then kissed me tenderly. "Hold on." I pushed him away and rolled over on top of him. I kissed him roughly, then slid down his chest, planting kisses all the way down. When I got down to his crotch, his erection was visibly showing through the fabric. I pulled them off in one swift yank and immediately started sucking him off. Brian moaned deeply enough for me to feel it. I laid one hand on his chest and played with his right nipple as I sucked him. When I was satisfied that his cock was lubed up enough, I crawled up, straddling him. I reached behind myself, looking down into his peaceful blue eyes, and guided his cock into me. Brian grabbed my hips as I adjusted myself to the feeling of him inside me. Brian moaned as I started to slowly raise, then lower myself onto him. I started to get a good rythm, and leaned down to kiss Brian while humping him. Brian grabbed me around the neck and held me close to him, crying freely as I made love to him. I kissed Brian's tears that rolled down his cheeks as I kept humping him. It wasn't long before I felt Brian's cum flood my bowels. As soon as I felt his cum spew into me, I reached down and jerked my cock quickly. I came again quickly, sending cum flying onto Brian's chest and face. Brian bounced up, shoving his cock deep into me a couple times before settling back down onto the bed. I collapsed on top of Brian, reached over and grabbed my t-shirt and wiped my cum from his face gently. "I can't even think what would have happened if I never met you." Brian looked up at me. "I don't want to think about not knowing you." I laid back down on top of Brian and kissed him deeply. "I just hope you remember while we are seperated for these next couple months that I love you more than anything in this world." Brian said seriously. "I just hope you remember that I love you more than that." I smiled and kissed Brian again, pushing my hands underneath him, pulling him into me. "Well, who said it first?" Brian laughed and hugged me back. "Why did you start crying?" I asked, nuzzling Brian's neck. "'Cause I just remembered how much I never loved anyone as much as I love you." Brian replied. "If you say 'You complete me', I'll barf." I laughed. "You asshole." Brian slapped me on my bare ass, with a laugh. "I love you." I laughed. (Part 20) Brian and I cleaned up after our tumble between the sheets, and called all the guys to let them know we wanted to go have lunch together. We all decided to meet in the hallway outside Brian's room in thirty minutes. Brian and I got dressed, again, I had to borrow clothes. I gave Barb a quick call to say that I was sorry for ditching her, but she understood and told me we would get together the next day. When we met in the hall, A.J. was missing. "Where's A.J.?" Brian asked Kevin as he walked towards Nick, Howie, Brian and myself. "I don't think he's going to come." Kevin glanced at me. "Why?" Howie sounded upset. "I don't know." Kevin kept it as our little secret. "Why don't all of you go downstairs and I'll get A.J. We'll meet you down in the lobby in a few." I suggested. "You sure?" Kevin looked at me. "Yeah, I want him to come. It'll be my last chance to see him before ya'll leave." I assured him. "Ok, we'll see ya' down there." Brian gave me a confirming look as all the guys walked down the hall towards the elevator. I took a quick, deep breath and walked down the opposite way, towards A.J.'s room. I knocked on the door, then waited for A.J. to answer. It seemed to take forever for A.J. to open the door. "Matt?!? What are you doing here?" A.J. was stunned. "You know what? Everybody's been asking me that alot lately." I laughed dryly and invited myself in. "Well, I thought you would still be mad at me." A.J. explained. "I am, but that doesn't mean that I can't forgive you, right?" I smiled and turned to look at A.J. "Well, when Kevin came down here this morning, I thought you would never speak to me again." A.J. looked at his feet. "Kevin meant well, but I'm sure he made it sound worse than it is." I tried to make A.J. feel better. "I still don't understand why you kissed me, but it doesn't matter. Get ready, we're all going to have lunch." "I don't want to face Brian, I bet he knows all about the other night." A.J. blushed. "Yeah he does, but he isn't mad, so don't worry, k?" I placed my hand on A.J.'s shoulder. "Ok, I'll go, but first I want to tell you something, alright?" A.J. looked up at me seriously. "What?" I smiled. "I just wanted to tell you," A.J. looked down again. "that I really do love you. I've never felt this way about anyone, even a woman. And when you came along, I had to be with you. I couldn't stand it. So, I'm not sorry for kissing you for that reason. I am sorry that I did it because I love Brian, he's like my brother. I don't know if I sound like a rambling idiot or what, so I'll just shut up now." "It's okay, A.J." I tried to not make it sound like he was stupid. "As long as you understand that Brian and I are together and that I love HIM, everything is cool. It's not wrong to fall in love with me--but it was wrong to act upon your feelings." "Gotcha." A.J. looked up at me, pleased that I hadn't gotten mad again from him confessing his love. "Alright, now get ready, damnit." I laughed. "Alright." A.J. smiled, then headed towards the bathroom. Quickly, before I could object, A.J. came back over to me and gave me a deep, long hug. I didn't stop him, I just hugged him back. When we broke, he avoided making eye contact with me, and went into the bathroom to get ready. I sat down in the chair and had a quick cigarette while I waited on him to get done. When A.J. and I finally got down to the lobby, all the guys looked like they were ready to pass out from waiting too long. When Brian saw us coming, he immediately stood to greet me. A.J. paused for a moment, letting me get ahead of him, then caught back up with me when he saw Brian smile at us. "Everything okay?" Kevin inquired of A.J. and me. "Yep." I smiled, letting Kevin know I was sincere. "Alright, let's go." Nick demanded. We took the hotel's rental car again and headed out. All through lunch, I practically ignored everyone, and devoted all my time to talking with Brian. Brian was moist-eyed throughout the whole ordeal. I knew I probably was, too. We both knew that we only a few short hours until we would be seperated for quite a while by several states. Brian really wasn't being discreet at all. He reached under the table several times and grabbed my hand or thigh to squeeze. Halfway through lunch, I whispered to Brian how I was so surprised that the "gay-bar scandal" hadn't been in any papers. He just smiled and said we lucked out. I figured that since we were assumed to be straight, that no one bothered running to the press. All the guys that invited us thought we were just being nice to them since they were fans, anyway. They didn't assume we were gay just 'cause we agreed to go with them and play along. We all lingered as long as we could over lunch, trying to avoid the pending crisis. About one o'clock, we knew we all had to leave or they would be late leaving to pick up their touring schedule. It seemed like we were all reluctant to leave the resturaunt. Brian drove us all back to the hotel, and I could tell he was intentionally taking his time. When we got back to the hotel, I helped Brian finish packing, telling him that I would return the clothes I had on when we saw each other again. He seemed to like that idea. It let him know that we would definitely HAVE to see each other again. After Brian got done packing, we laid out on the lounge on the balcony, cuddled in each other's arms until management came around knocking on the doors, letting us know he had to leave. The bellboy came up as we were leaving the room to pick up all the luggage. I almost started balling when I saw the tour bus waiting outside the hotel. The other guys weren't down yet, so I hopped onto the bus with Brian for a quick make out session, while we were still alone. Before the guys could come down and catch us, we broke away. "I love you, Matt." Brian gazed at me with his eternilly beautiful blue eyes. "I love you more. HA! Beat ya' to it." I laughed as a tear rolled down my cheek. "I don't mind so much this time." Brian hugged me and gave me another quick kiss. "Well, I better get going so I don't change my mind and go with you." I laughed at my joke. "Alright." Brian spoke as he followed me to the bus door. "I'll see you soon." I walked down the stairs then looked back up at him. "You have the tour schedule, and know where we'll be staying every night, so you better not find an excuse not to call me." Brian was crying. "I'll call you tonight." I replied, trying not to join him in crying. "Promise?" Brian seemed desperate. "Ofcourse." I stated. "Alright. Bye." Brian walked towards the back of the bus. "Bye." I spoke to myself. I stood by the door to the bus, waiting for the other guys to get down there so I could hug them all goodbye. I felt like balling my eyes out, but I remembered that I would see them all again soon. Kevin was the next one out, and I quickly gave him a handshake and a hug. He told me to take care, and to make sure and call them that night. Howie came out with Nick and I gave them both quick hugs and told them I'd be calling sometime soon. When A.J. came out, I made sure to hug him so he knew there were no hard feelings. "I'm going to miss you, Matt." A.J. spoke as I hugged him. "I'll miss you, too." I replied, then broke away. "But I'll miss you for one reason in particular." A.J. smiled. "Oh, what's that?" I was confused. "You still have some of my clothes." A.J. laughed. "You jerk." I gave him another quick hug. "I know." A.J. started to get on the bus. "Take care of Brian." I requested. "I will. Make sure to call tonight." A.J. turned to look at me before climbing back on the bus. The bus driver got on the bus, then the bellboys loaded the baggage in the undercarriage compartments. The bus pulled away, and Brian leaned against the back window and waved to me as the bus pulled away. I waved, and watched him until I could no longer see him. When the bus had turned the corner, I stepped off the curb and hailed the first cab I saw. I climbed into the cab and told him to take me to my hotel. I knew my eyes were bloodshot from crying, but I didn't think he would care enough to ask why. Once I got back to my hotel, I called Barb and told her to come over with any work we needed to get done. She was the only person I knew that was actually thrilled to do anything having to do with her job. I quickly showered while waiting for her and changed into some of my own clothes. I started cleaning up my room, and sent some laundry down to have the hotel clean, and actually unpacked all the shopping bags finally. Barb arrived about an hour after I called her with arm-loads full of what looked like scripts and treatments and other crap. We moved the table out onto the balcony, rolled our sleeves up, and went to work. (Part 21) Four days later, we had the national-showing results for "Glass Houses". It was an overnight sensation. With all the "hoopla" surrounding the premiere and rumors of my planning to be in a movie with Devon Sawa, people were going to see it just on principle. Barb couldn't be more thrilled with the results. She mentioned that it was sort of a record as far as independent films went. I felt like I was leading a charmed life. I just thought to myself how much better it would have been if they knew I was going to be in a movie with Devon AND Leo. About a week after the results were in, Bob called to congratulate me and offered me an exclusive contract with the studio. I thought that was made obsolete in the '50s. I politely turned Bob down, but suggested that I would keep it in mind. He seemed dissappointed that I would automatically turn him down, but still happy with our results, nonetheless. I still hadn't called Brian, and he hadn't called me. I was sure he was just as busy as I was getting back into the touring schedule, so I felt that I should wait awhile before disrupting him. Although I ws sad as hell that Brian was gone, I was excited about the new movie and all the talk shows I was lined up to go on for the next week and a half before I went to New York. The night after Bob called to congratulate me, I had to fly to New York prematurely to do a spot on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and then right over to The Late Show with David Letterman. I shot both talk shows in the same day. Both David and Jay seemed a little upset when they found out that I was going to do both of their shows. However, they took it as it was--atleast each of them were able to book me. A couple days later, I had to go to Chicago to do Oprah. I sorta laughed at the notion, since I wasn't exactly all that famous yet. Oprah, however, seemed to think I was the hot thing on the market. Her show was the most fun to do. She did a little opening thing and talked about her Angel Network, then brought me out. The audience was full of women, from ages 10 to 60. When I walked out on stage, they all went apeshit. Where do they get these people, I laughed to myself. Oprah really laid it on thick about how much she liked me, and teased me openly about talking to Jay and David before her. She asked what my current project was, and I just let her know that I was going to New York in a week to start on my first fully-funded movie by a studio. Then we got to the Q & A section of the show, which was a little trying. Most of the women and girls asked if I would take a picture with them, or hug them, or even kiss them. I thought it was great, but I was expecting questions. A couple of people in the audience asked legitimate questions, but they were few and far between. When I got back from Oprah's show, Barb met me at the airport and took me out to eat. She laughed at all my stories about how the Q & A went, and about how I almost missed the plane because I was posing with fans for pictures. I told her I managed to get a picture with everyone possible, sign all the autographs and still squeeze through the airplane doors before they locked me out. Halfway through dinner, it hit me. I practically spit my mouthful of food out all over the table. "Barb! Find out what talk show the boys are gonna be on when they get to New York!" I practically screeched. "Matt?" Barb looked around, noticing that people were staring at me. "Calm down." "Sorry." I leaned in closer. "Find out what talk show they are going to be doing, and book me for it, too." "Well, guess what?" Barb smiled. "What?" I took another bite. "They are doing the Rosie O'Donnell show the week you get to New York, on a Thursday and you've already been booked." Barb looked at me, pleased with herself. "And just when were you going to tell me?" I smiled at her. "When I got good and ready." She laughed. "I'm so excited." I smiled like an idiot. "I knew you would be." Barb started eating her dinner again. A week later, I packed up and Barb drove me to the airport. I asked her to come with me, but she couldn't. I had to get on the plane by myself, on the way to my new home, without anyone being with me. I slept most of the way on the plane, since it was an early morning flight. I don't know how I managed to shove all my clothes into the limited amount of suitcases I was allowed to take, but did it. The moment I stepped off the plane, I was attacked. First by my new "assistant" that was assigned to me by the studio for the duration of the movie. His name was Bryan of all things. Except he spelled it different. He made that quite clear when I met him. As soon as he helped me grab my luggage and we started heading for the limo, a group of fans surrounded us. I signed every autograph I could before we had to leave. When we tried to leave, the fans tried to block us in, but we managed to escape. Bryan helped me load all my luggage into the limo, then we hopped in and were on our way. "Do you need a drink?" Bryan asked as the limo took off. "I can get it." I laughed at the thought of someone taking over duties that were so simple. "Well, I'm here for all your needs, so you may as well make use of me. I'm getting paid good money to, so.." Bryan announced. "That's ok." I reached into the liquor cabinet and made myself a rum and coke. "Alright, your choice." Bryan compromised. "Thanks." I laughed. "Oh, by the way, we may as well get this out of the way." Bryan reached into his bag he had and pulled out the script. "Bob said to have you look this over to make sure everything was to your liking." "Well, I'm sure if it isn't, I'll get it corrected." I made a joke. "Well, that's sort of the final one." Bryan replied stupidly. God, I missed Barbara already. "Yeah. Well, we'll see." I just took the script and immediately started looking it over. "Okay, you're scheduled to do Rosie's show on Thursday, right?" Bryan pulled out a pocket planner. "Yeah." I said, not looking up from the script. "Alright, and I have something in here about Barbara Walters?" Bryan questioned me. "I don't know anything about that one." I looked up. "It's for the Academy Awards pre-show." Bryan explained. "She wants to interview you about the award since you are so new to Hollywood." "The Academy Awards aren't for another month." I shook my head in disbelief. "Well, she always does the interviews way ahead of time." Bryan responded. "It's her show." I smiled. "Favorite food?" Bryan asked, confusing me. "Huh?" I cocked an eyebrow. "I will be running all your errands, so I need to know a few things to help me out." He responded, still jotting in his planner. "I'm not real particular." I didn't want to sound like an asshole by giving him a list. "Don't be shy, this helps me as much as it does you." He looked up and smiled at me, giving me the okay to rattle off my likes and dislikes. "Okay, I don't like red meat that much, just occasionally. Candy and chocolate is not a fav. Um, I like SOME vegetables with every meal, and no breakfast whatsoever." I tried to keep it simple. "What else?" He kept jotting. "Oriental Chicken Salad is my absolute fav." I tried to come up with more, since he wanted it. "Okay. How about to drink." He didn't look up. "Rum and coke." I laughed, but he didn't respond. "Um, don't give me Mountain Dew unless you want to see an ugly sight. Cafe Mocha is my fav as far as coffee goes. I don't really drink much milk or juice. Bottled water is always good, but no Evian." I was getting into this. "What's wrong with Mountain Dew? Allergy?" Bryan asked seriously. "No, sugar high." I laughed. Bryan actually cracked a smile. "Do you use the word 'fav' alot?" David looked up at me. "Sometimes." I replied, not getting the question. "Well, try not to, it just screams 'gay'." Bryan replied. "Um, okay." I tried to not look shocked. "What type of shampoo and conditioner?" Bryan asked. "What?" I laughed at the thought. "I'll probably be doing shopping for you, too." He didn't look up. "Tresseme for both." I responded. "Deodorant?" "Old Spice Original." I was having fun. "Want to know what type of underwear?" "Yes." "It was a joke." I snorted, trying not to crack up. "Well, ok." He wasn't shocked by anything. I dug my cigarettes out of my pocket and lit one. "What kind?" Bryan asked. "What kind of what?" I was getting totally confused. "Cigarettes." "Marlboro Red, box." I took a drag. "You know, we can answer these anytime." "I know, I just like getting it out of the way." He still jotted more into his planner. "Well, why don't you answer a question?" "Sure." He kept writing. "Do I have anything planned for tonight?" "I just have to show you the apartment you'll be staying in for the duration of the movie." Bryan looked up. "Alright then." I rolled down the window between us and the driver. "Hey, what's your name?" "Winston." The driver seemed stunned I was talking to him. "No, your real name." I laughed. "Bill." he replied, then smiled at the notion that I knew his name wasn't Winston. "Well Bill, would you mind taking myself and Bryan to a nice resturaunt so we can get something to eat?" I asked nicely. "Yes sir, do you have anyplace in mind?" He looked in the rearview mirror. "Call me Matt, and no, just any place that you can recommend." I responded. "Yes sir--Matt." He smiled. I rolled up the window, then situated myself back into my seat to finish my cigarette. "So, all I have left for today is to see my apartment?" I asked Bryan, taking a drag off my cigarette. "Yes. Do you think we should really go eat?" He looked amazed that someone would want to have lunch with "the help". "Yes, I really do." I smiled. "Hey, Bry, does this thing dial long distance?" I grabbed the car phone. "Yeah, feel free." he seemed to like the fact that I didn't order him around, or act like a superior. "Cool." I searched through my backpack and found Brian's tour schedule. "Can I help you find something?" Bryan asked. "Nope, got it." I replied pulling the schedule out of my backpack. "Let's see, Chicago, Chicago. Aw, there it is." I talked to myself while looking for his hotel number. Once I found the number, I dialed it quickly and waited for the receptionist at the Drake to pick up. It took several rings, but finally someone answered. "Drake Hotel, how may I direct your call?" The pleasant voiced lady asked. "Yes, I need Brian Littrell's room please." Bryan's eyebrows perked up when I said the name. "Your name please?" She asked. "Matt Thompson." I replied quickly. "Thank You." The woman replied after what I had just said registered. The phone rang several times, before Brian finally picked it up. "Hello?" Brian sounded upset. "Hello, you've been enrolled in the obscene caller of the month club." I spoke in a low, seductive voice. "Oh my god! I'm so glad you called." Brian immediatley perked up. "Me too." I responded. "So, have you gotten to New York yet?" He asked quickly. "Yeah, I'm in the limo with another Bryan, on the way to have a late lunch." I smiled, knowing Brian would ask what I was doing in a limo with another guy. "Okay, spill it. What are you doing? Replacing me?" He sort of laughed. "He's my assistant. So how're you doin'?" I asked happily. "Oooh, so you have an assistant now? I'm great now. I miss you so much." Brian practically whined. "Me too. Guess what?" I tried to think of something to cheer him up. "What?" "The studio is providing me with an apartment during the filming of the movie. Is that like totally great or what?" "All I get is hotels, you lucky ass." Brian laughed. "Oh my god, I just found out from Bryan that I am supposed to be interviewed by Barbara Walters. When was that again?" I asked Bryan, taking the phone from my ear slightly. "Friday." he smiled. "Friday. I can't wait for that. I just hope she isn't ruthless like that Nathan guy from People." I laughed at myself. "I doubt she'll be that hard on you. Okay, I got a big question." Brian spoke up. "Shoot." I replied "Are we going to be able to get together Thursday through Saturday while we're all in town?" He spoke slowly, hoping I would say 'yes'. "Hold on, let me ask Bryan about what I have lined up." I put my hand over the phone. "Bryan, what do I have on Thursday, Friday and Saturday?" "Nothing, except Rosie on Thursday and Barbara on Friday." He looked down at the planner. "Sorry Brian, but I am terribly busy on those days." I noticed Bryan staring at me. "But I mean, hey, we'll be able to get together after the movie and your touring has stopped, right?" I was so evil. "Aw fuck." Brian was extremely disappointed. "I'm so sorry Brian, but I have responsibilities." I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing. Bryan looked at me quizzically. I mouthed the words "I'll tell you later". "I know, it's not your fault." Brian sounded like I had spit in his face. "So, how are all the guys?" I asked. "A.J. and Kevin both wanted me to tell you 'hi' and that they missed you too when I spoke to you. Nick is actually being decent to me, and Howie is just Howie." Brian sorta livened up. "Well, tell A.J. and Kevin I miss them too and tell all of 'em I said 'hi', alright?" I noticed we were pulling up to a resturaunt. "Alright." "Well, I got to go, we're getting close to the resturaunt." I wasn't going to let him in on the secret that I was going to be on the Rosie O'Donnell show, too. "Okay. Hey, I know you can't say it 'cause you have Bryan number two there, but I love you." Brian said. "Me too." I did my best to reply. "That's good enough, I guess." Brian tried to laugh. "Alright, well bye for now, Brian." "Bye." With that, I hung up the phone. I noticed that Bryan was waiting for an explanation about the phone. "I told him I was busy, 'cause I am going to suprise him on Rosie's show Thursday." I explained, then opened the limo door. "Oh, ok." Bryan acted like he wasn't being nosy. "Well, this looks like a good place." I stated as I stretched by the side of the limo. "Yeah, it's one of my favorites." Bryan smiled. "Well, then I guess I know one of us will undoubtedly enjoy it." I laughed. We walked into the resturaunt, and the maitre'd automatically recognized me. I don't know how. I hadn't realized that my "stardom" had transcended coasts, too. He seated us in a corner booth, at my request, so we could have some privacy to discuss things. As soon as I jumped into the booth, I lit a cigarette. "So, I guess we have alot of work to do." Bryan opened his planner again. "Yeah, we do. Where are you from?" I smiled. "Huh?" he looked at me shocked. "Simple question. Where are you from?" "I'm from Texas." he replied. "No shit? I'm from Texas, too. Whereabouts?" "Yeah I know. El Paso. You?" "Sherman, a good eight hours away from you." I smiled. "So, how old are you?" "23...why are you asking me this stuff?" He smiled widely. "Well, if you're going to be up my ass for the three months of the shoot, I figure that I ought to know SOMETHING about you." I laughed, trying to loosen him up. "Okay, sounds fair." He smiled. "Did you know that you're a full four years older than me?" I asked. "Yeah, your birthday is July 29th, just a couple weeks ago. Happy Late Birthday." He replied. "Well, I AM impressed. And thank you." I smiled. "No problem. So, you're good friends with the Backstreet Boys, I hear." He sort of blushed. "Well, Brian is a good friend of mine, and Kevin--well I guess you could call Kevin my surrogate father. A.J. is my department store when I run out of clothes." I explained with a smile, thinking of all the guys. "That's cool." The waiter came and took our drink order. As soon as he brought the drinks back, I started back with our conversation. "Do you like the Backstreet Boys?" I sipped my rum and coke. "Hell yeah." Bryan got overly excited. "Oh, I'm sorry." "Sorry for what, you better get excited if you like them." I tried to make him feel at ease. "Well, I should be more professional." He looked down at his drink. "There's one thing that you HAVE to understand before we start this relationship." I smiled. "What?" Bryan looked up at me. "If you can't cuss and drink with me, then we won't get along. If you smoke, all the better. If you know any dirty jokes, you better let me know 'em." I laughed. "Sounds fair. I'm sorry, I'm just not used to working for laid back people." He explained. "Who did you work for before they assigned you to me?" I inquired. "F. Murray Abraham." I shuddered from the thought, making Bryan laugh. "I'm so sorry." I acted sincere. "No wonder. You're going to be a new man when I get done with you." "Uh oh." He teased me. "There ya' go." I laughed. "Alright, gettin' in good already." He smiled. "I think we'll get along just fine, Bry." I laughed. "I think the guys are doing a concert on Thursday night, you want to go?" "I'd love to." He seemed excited. "Good Man. I hope you don't mind if I call you Bry, seeing that I already know a Brian, it'll help me keep things straight." I laughed "Nope, that's cool." The waiter came and took our food order, then left again after getting me to sign a napkin for him. Bryan seemed to be very interesting, regardless of my first impression. He seemed to pretty much have the same taste in music as me. He told me he liked both my movies and was very excited when he found out he would be working for me. He pretty much blew smoke up my ass all throughout dinner. "Why did you decide you wanted to do this movie?" He asked me when the waiter returned to get our plates. "Money, and the fact that it's about Micheal Alig." I replied, then ordered a cafe mocha. "What's so great about him, he ended up murdering his friend." Bryan asked, wide-eyed. "Well, I get to fuck with my hair alot." I laughed. "Gotcha." He smiled. "You know they want you to show up Monday with your hair brown, right?" "Nope, but I can get A.J. to fix that when I see him." I replied. "Is he the one that did that job?" Bryan nodded at my hair. "Yeah. Did a good job, didn't he?" I smiled. "Yeah, but it's such a drastic change from your normally brown hair." "Well, a drastic change can do anybody good." I defended it. "True." After I finished my cafe mocha, we got back in the limo, and Bill delivered us to my new apartment. Bill helped us lug all the suitcases up to the apartment, then left. The apartment was huge. It had a huge living room, with a panoramic view of the city. The bedroom had a skylight, and a huge window overlooking the city as well. The furniture hadn't arrived yet, so we had to hop a squat on the floor. "When is the furniture supposed to get here?" I asked as we sat down. "In about an hour or so." Bryan replied. "Great. So, um, what do you suggest we do for fun until then?" I asked. "Well, we could go down to a coffee shop on the corner, or do some shopping. Infact, it would probably be a good idea if we went and did some grocery shopping before they get here. There's a deli down on the corner." Bryan suggested. "Sounds good." I jumped up. "I can go for you." Bryan spoke up. "Naw, I'd like to go with." I protested, then grabbed Bryan's hand, helping him up. "Okay, well let's go." We walked down to the deli and got the bare essentials for the time being and walked back to my apartment with the bags. I wanted to carry all of them, but Bryan insisted on helping. I tried to explain that I was used to taking care of myself, but he wouldn't hear of it. When we got down to my apartment, we had just put the groceries in the fridge (thank god that that was there), when the buzzer rang. I looked out the window. It was the movers with the furniture. I buzzed them up. There seemed to be an excessive amount of them. They brought up piece after piece of furniture. No corner seemed to go without some type of furniture being placed in it. I was glad that they pretty much arranged everything, because I was not prepared to decorate. "So, do you like, sleep on the sofa and wait until I need something?" I joked with Bryan. "I have my own place for the three months." He laughed. "Oh, I forgot to let you know. Devon and Leo are getting into town tonight together, and they are going to stop by about eight o'clock." "Alright, cool." I watched the movers bring in more and more furniture. The movers even brought a T.V., VCR, cordless phone, kitchen appliances, a stereo, the whole bit. I couldn't believe it. All the essentials were provided. "Oh, I need to run down to the store for some, um, sundries." Bryan blushed. "You can just say toilet paper." I laughed. "Oh, you might want to invest in a beeper and cell phone while your here." Bryan advised me. "Why?" I was confused. "Well, the studio will probably be happy if they have some way of getting ahold of you at all times." He responded as he walked out the door. "Wait, Bryan, let me give you some money for the 'sundries'." I laughed. "It's covered. Don't worry about it." He closed the door. I stood there, in the now empty apartment. The movers and Bryan were both gone, leaving me to look things over on my own. The furniture that they brought was pretty cool. Art deco--loved it. I went over to where the phone was, and was surprised to find out that they even brought an answering machine. I guess they wanted to make sure I was able to keep track of all my calls they would probably be making to my house. Studios were generous when it came to their own well-being. I put the standard message on the machine about leaving a name and a number, and my getting back to the caller. After looking at everything thoroughly, I dragged my luggage into my bedroom and starting unpacking, deciding where I wanted everything to be. Halfway through unpacking, Bryan got back with the "sundries". I hollered a 'hello', then continued my unpacking. Bryan went into the bathroom to put everything away, then came in and sat down on the bed. "Want help?" He smiled at me. "No, I can fold my own underwear and put it away." I laughed. "Alright. Don't say I didn't ask." Bryan replied. When I got done unpacking, I went into the living room and sat down in front of the T.V. on the couch. I immediately lit a cigarette, and realized what was missing. They had brought everything except an ashtray. I made due with one of the bowls that was in the cupboard in the kitchen. Bryan made a comment about how I was supposed to EAT out of it, but I just ignored him. As soon as I turned the T.V. on, I saw The Backstreet Boys live from Chicago. Made me sick to my stomach. I couldn't believe how far away from each other Brian and I were. The guys were being interviewed by some half-wit with a bad wig. She looked like that lady from Religion Television with the bad wig and make-up job. I sorta laughed when I saw her. I caught Bryan giggling, too. "Are you guys enjoying your tour?" The lady asked with a goofy smile. "Yeah, we're having alot of fun finishing our U.S. tour, but we're looking forward to getting back in the studio to make a new record." Kevin spoke up. "And spending time with the people we love." Brian added. I melted. "Yes, I bet your families miss you alot." The lady answered. Dumb bitch. "Yeah, we miss them, too." A.J. replied. "Who do ya'll wish you could have with you right now?" "I wish my mom was touring with us." A.J. replied. "I wish A.J.'s mom was here, too." Nick laughed. "If my whole family were here, it would make my day." Howie smiled. "I'm glad I get to spend all this time with my cousin." Kevin put an arm around Brian's shoulders. "Who do you wish were here?" she asked Brian. "To be honest, I wish Matt were here, so I would have someone to make fun of." Brian laughed. "God, I hope he ain't watchin'." "You better hope not." Nick replied with a smile. I started laughing. I couldn't help it. It was just like Brian to say something like that and not cock any eyebrows. Bryan sorta laughed, too, when he saw that I thought it was funny. We sat there while the rest of the interview went on, and then the guys sang "All I Have To Give". The crowd went wild, then the damn show was over. I wanted to see more, but knew I could wait for two days to see Brian in person. "I wish I was friends with the rich and famous." Bryan commented. "Well you know me." I smiled at him. "And F. Murray Abraham." I cracked up. "Shut up." Bryan laughed. "I'm sure he was a lovely man." I smiled widely. (Part 22) About eight o'clock that night, Bill showed back up at my apartment with the limo, but this time had Devon and Leo. I invited both the guys in and showed them "my apartment". They both liked it, but both made comments about how they were staying with people they knew. We went over all the changes in the script, and they tried to talk me out of a few changes that Barb and I had made, but I held my ground, and finally had them convinced it was the best way to go. They both looked relieved that they atleast had the main character for the movie, instead of pissing their pants up until the day the shoot began. Bryan sat there the whole time, watching all of us with wide eyes, taking notes on important stuff that was brought up. I kept looking at him when he'd write something down. "So, you know the guys will be in town Thursday, right?" Devon gave me a knowing look. "Yeah, but I'm gonna be too busy to meet with them." I tried to change the topic. "Right! Like you're going to miss an oppurtunity to spend time with Brian." Devon laughed. "Bryan, tell Devon why I can't meet with the guys." I kept looking at Devon. "He's terribly busy on those days." Bryan replied, keeping a straight face. I knew I was going to like him. "Are you serious? You're not going to see them OR the concert?" Devon look dumbfounded. "I really don't have time. But if you go see 'em, tell 'em all I said 'howdy'!" I replied then looked back down at the script. "I can't believe it." Devon shook his head. (Part 23) The two long days passed, and it was finally Thursday. I had gone three weeks without seeing Brian and I was dying to finally see him again. Bryan and I had Bill take us in the limo over to the studio where Rosie's show was broadcast. We had to leave about an hour early so the guys wouldn't see me going into the studio. I didn't want to ruin the surprise, before it actually was a surprise. Bryan and I were showed to a private dressing room, and it was about two hours before the show started. The room was beautiful. It was a step up from even The Late Show and The Tonight Show's dressing rooms. Bryan and I enjoyed the liquor cabinet thoroughly. Bryan left the green room for awhile to get some breakfast from the buffett that was set up. He asked me before he left if I wanted anything. I informed him that I had two feet. He let me know it wasn't 'cause he was trying to act like a slave, he just didn't want me to be seen leaving the room by one of the BSB. A make-up woman came in and made sure I was all pretty to go on the show awhile after that, then left just as quickly as she came in. "Howdy, gentlemen." Rosie came strolling into the room thirty minutes before the show started. "Oh my god." I nearly freaked out. "What?" Bryan looked at me. "It's Rosie O'Donnell." I practically whispered. Rosie laughed at me, then gave me a hug. "You don't have to flatter the host." She laughed. "I'm just so excited to meet you." I smiled. "Well, same here." She reached around me and shook Bryan's hand and gave him her genuinely "happy to meet you" smile. "So, are the guys here yet?" I asked desperately. "Yeah, they got here about an hour ago. So, you're trying to surprise your friends, huh?" "Trying to." I smiled quickly. "Well, they're going to be the first guests, and you'll be the second. The Backstreet Boys and you are my only guests. I'm gonna keep them on, making them think my last guest is doing crafts like usual, and I'm going to let them all help. Then I'll bring you out, and shock the hell out of 'em. " Rosie stated the last part with her signature way of screaming it. "Sounds good to me." I laughed. "Alright, also, you know about the quiz, right? Don't tell me you don't." Rosie smiled slyly. She was referring to the quiz someone takes at the end of the show to win a certain prize for the whole audience. "Ofcourse." "Well, I'm gonna let you take it over the Backstreet Boys, instead of letting an audience member do it." Rosie told me. "Well, I just hope I get it right and don't look like an idiot, and lose prizes for the whole audience." I laughed. "You'll do fine." She smiled. "I hope so." Rosie talked with us a couple more minutes, then left to start the show. Bryan and I rushed over to the couch in front of the monitor in the dressing room, turned it on and sat down. It was about fifteen minutes until the show started, so I got up to get me a drink, which chapped Bryan's ass. It made him feel even worse when I brought him a drink, too. He had to tell me all about it when I sat back down, but I just tuned him out. The show finally started with a cute little girl, about twelve years old, announcing who was going to be on the show. "Hi, I'm Katie from New York City, and this is The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Today's guests are The Backstreet Boys, with a special craft section. Take it John!" The girl said with much enthusiasm. John and the band started, and Rosie came out, with much excitement from the audience, as usual. Rosie fussed over the little girl for a bit, then went to her desk and did her opening bit. As usual, it was hilarious. I wish I could have listened to her jokes forever, but I also wanted to see the BSB as soon as possible, too. When the opening part was done, Rosie announced that, after the commercial, the BSB would be out. It seemed to take forever for the commercials to be over. Finally, when the show came back on, Rosie was standing at the side of the stage, with the very familiar CD in her hand. I almost jumped off the couch and cheered, but didn't want Bryan to think I was crazy, so kept my ass planted. "Our first guest is one of my favorite groups. Their music is known worldwide. They have sold over 12 million records, and their all pretty cute, too." Rosie announced. Cute? No shit, Rosie. "So, here we go. Here's the Backstreet Boys performing their hit song, 'Everybody'!!" Rosie practically had to scream over the audience. Bryan seemed to be very excited when he saw the guys on the monitor. When Brian began the song, I thought I saw Bryan bounce a bit in his seat. I wanted to tell Bryan all about my first television appearance, and seeing the BSB. I decided not to act like an idiot, and kept my mouth shut. I had to smile widely though, all throughout the performance. I especially kept my eyes on Brian as they did their dance. "They are SO good." Bryan announced when the song was done. "You don't have to tell me that." I laughed. Rosie invited the guys over and they all found places to sit down. However, Nick and Howie had to grab a seat on the floor since there were only three chairs. The crowd was going ape-shit, much to Rosie and the guys enjoyment. "I'm so glad all of you could make it." Rosie stated, as soon as the crowd stopped screaming. "We're glad to be here." Kevin smiled. "You're doing a concert tonight in Central Park, right?" Rosie questioned. "Yeah, it's going to be at eight o'clock, and right now, it's completely sold out." Brian replied, though not very enthusiastically. The questions went like this for awhile, then a commercial, then Rosie came back with the guys again. She started the questioning in again, this time talking personally to each guy while the others looked on. I pretty much was transfixed on the T.V. when she got to Brian. I could tell Bryan was paying attention, too. Finally, when she got done talking to each of the guys, she was about to cut to another commerical, it was about twenty five minutes into the show. "Well, we have to go to commercial again, but I want you guys to stick around and do the craft section with me." Rosie pleaded with them. All the guys answered in unison that they would love to stay, and commercial finally came. Just like on the first show I ever did, the stage-manager's head popped in the door. I didn't even let him speak before rising, and following him out the door. Bryan was right behind me. The stage manager led us all the way through the maze of corridors, until we were just outside the entrance to the stage. Bryan and I looked out as best we could without looking like idiots, and saw the five guys still sitting by the desk with Rosie. I wondered why they didn't think it was weird that they weren't setting up for a craft segment. No tables or anything were being brought out, but the guys didn't catch on. I thought it was hilarious. Bryan seemed to see what I was seeing, too. Finally, the countdown began, then the show was back on. "I'm glad you guys could stay to help me with this next guest. I have a feeling he's going to be a handful." Rosie smiled at the guys. "Uh oh." Nick smiled. "Well, I bet it won't be that bad." Rosie assured them. "So, without much, further ado, let's bring out our craft person for the day!" Rosie stood and walked around her desk. The stage manager held his arm in front of me, keeping me from moving. I wanted to break his fucking arm. "Rosie, we don't have a craft person today." A voice overhead announced. "That's strange." Rosie said. "Well, don't we have ANY guests back there?" "Well, we've got one. We can send him out if you like." The voice announced again. I started giggling. All the guys had confused looks on their faces. If I laughed much more, I was going to wet my pants. "Well, I guess any guest is better than none." Rosie smiled. "Bring 'em on out." The stage manager finally lowered his arm and let me through. Bryan patted me on the shoulder for good luck. A few steps and I was clear of the curtain that seperated the opening to the stage. I was behind a wall where Rosie and the guys couldn't see me yet, but the audience could. The cheering began immediately. I stood there for a minute, waving, letting the guys wonder for awhile who was standing there, then I walked around the wall and onto the main stage. Rosie started laughing immediately when she saw the stupid grin on my face. Brian jumped out of his chair and whispered something into Rosie's ear with a smile. All the guys stood almost immediately and started clapping with the audience, almost making me blush. I got over to Rosie as soon as I could and hugged her. Brian didn't care, he hugged me, followed by Kevin and A.J. The crowd seemed to like the fact that we knew each other. Brian sat back down in the seat he was in, then realized I didn't have anywhere to sit, and stood quickly, offering me his seat. I laughed at him and sat down. He chose to just sit on the arm of the chair I was in. "Rosie, you seriously need to think about getting some more chairs up here." I laughed, when the crowd died down. "Yes I do, just so I can have you guys back again." Rosie smiled. "Yeah, so Brian doesn't have to crowd me." I laughed and looked at Brian. "Deal with it." He smiled. "So, I take it you guys know each other." Rosie stated. "Yeah, we all met on Todd Hansen's show in L.A. when we were all out there, and have been friends ever since." A.J. announced. "That's great. I'm glad I have guests that get along. This isn't Jerry Springer, after all." Rosie laughed. "So, what brings you to New York, Matt?" "Well, I'm making a movie. And we'll be shooting in the city for the next three months." "When did you get in?" "I got here on Monday." I replied. "Have you been out to see any of the sights, yet?" Rosie asked. "Nope, haven't had a chance yet, but I did get to eat in a genuine New York City resturaunt my first night here." I said with a thick Texas accent. "You're such a hick." Brian teased me. "You're from Kentucky. I don't think I have to say much else." I laughed. "What's the movie about?" Rosie asked me. "It's a secret, shhhhhh." I put my finger to my lips. "Well, who's co-starring with you?" Rosie asked with a smile. "Well, that I can tell you. It's going to star Devon Sawa, Leonardo DiCaprio, and me." I announced, with many cheers from the audience. "Whoa! Sounds like you've got a little line-up there." Rosie replied. "Yeah, that's what the studio seems to think." I laughed. The interview continued for quite awhile, with the guys jumping in from time to time to make a joke or tease me. We had a commerical break, then came back for more interviewing. "Well, you're newest movie, besides the one you are making, 'Glass Houses' is out in theatres everywhere right now." Rosie explained more or less for the audience. "Yeah, it's doing great, too. I'm really pleased with how things are going." I added. "And 'Into The Sun', let me tell you...thoroughly enjoyed it." Rosie smiled, and practically leaned over her desk. "Well, thank you." I blushed. "You're also up for an Academy Award next month for 'Into The Sun'." Rosie stated. "Yeah, I'm really excited about that. Even if I don't win though, I feel great knowing I just got nominated for it." I replied. "And he promised to take all of us with him, which he better not break THAT promise." Nick looked at Rosie and me and laughed. "I'll definitely keep my promise. I want my friends there for support." I replied. "Well, we have to take another commercial break, and then when we get back, I have something I need you to do." Rosie looked at me. "What's that?" I played dumb. "I need you to take the celebrity quiz for me. If you answer ten questions about the Backstreet Boys right, everyone in our audience gets a copy of their CD." Rosie displayed the CD for the audience, to which they cheered. "No problem." I smiled. "Do you really want to place that much of a responsibility in Matt's hands?" Brian joked. "I know about as much about you as anyone else, so why not?" I smiled at Brian. "Alright, we'll be back right after this." Rosie announced the commercial. A clip of 'Glass Houses' led into the commercial, then the camera's were off of us. "Oh my god, how could you do this to me?" Brian looked at me. "What?" I asked. "I have had diarhea for the last couple days thinking that I wasn't gonna get to see you." Brian laughed. "Well, I wanted to surprise all of you." I laughed. "It worked." Kevin reached around Brian to give me another quick hug. "Is A.J. taking care of you, like I asked?" I smiled at A.J. "Yes." Brian rolled his eyes. "So, you're coming to the concert tonight, right?" Nick looked up at me. "Ofcourse, well that is if you can get backstage passes for Bryan and me." I replied. "Bryan?????" Howie loooked at me, confused. "Yeah, my assistant for the length of the movie." I explained. "Yeah, he's trying to replace me." Brian acted like he was hurt. "Shaddup." I nudged him. "We'll definitely get you both passes." Kevin replied. "Well then, we'll be there." I informed him. "In fact, do you guys have time tonight after the concert to come over to my apartment and hang out for awhile?" "Yeah, tonight we have the concert, then Friday and Saturday are 'off days'." A.J. replied. "Great." Finally, the show started back up, and Rosie immediately looked at me. "Alright, Matt. You ready to win a CD for everyone?" Rosie asked. "Ready as I'll ever be." I smiled. "Okay, we're not gonna give you a time limit, but don't wait for forever, either." Rosie laughed. "Gotcha." "Okay, now everyone be quiet, and no giving the answers to him." Rosie instructed the guys. "Let's go." I let her know to go. "Okay, question number one--What is Howie's favorite color?" Rosie looked at me. "I hope they're all this easy, it's purple." I laughed. "Let's hope so. Number two--What was the Backstreet Boys first single?" "We've Got It Going On, ofcourse." I laughed. "Number three--What's Brian's nickname?" Rosie looked up. "B-Rok." I laughed. "Come on, Rosie, give me the tough ones." All the guys seemed to enjoy that I was getting them right. "How about this one--number four--Where are the boys based out of?" "Orlando, Florida. These aren't getting any tougher." I teased her. "Number five--Name two songs that are on the European CD that aren't on the American version." Rosie instructed. "That's What She Said, and....." I had to think. "Ten Thousand Promises." "Made ya' think on that one, huh?" Rosie laughed. "Yeah, but keep 'em coming." I replied with a laugh. "I'm starting to get worried, he knows WAY too much about us." Kevin laughed. "Number six--Ooooo, you're really going to have to think about this one. Think you can handle it?" Rosie smiled. "Sure, bring it on." "If the Backstreet Boys were the Spice Girls, which one would be Scary Spice?" Rosie cracked everyone up. I tried to answer, but couldn't help but laugh more. I was afraid I was going to start snorting. "A.J." I managed to speak through my laughter. "Good answer. Number seven." Rosie laughed with me. "Hey, I resemble that remark." A.J. laughed. "Okay, answer this one. Who does Nick think is the best singer ever?" Rosie knew I was almost stumped with that one. "I heard that somewhere, hold on." I looked down at Nick, as he just smiled up at me. "Do you give up?" Rosie antagonized me. "Nope, got it, it's Steve Perry." I beamed. "This is scary." Brian laughed. "Jeez, I think we're gonna be giving away a few CD's if you don't stop it." Rosie made the crowd cheer. "Come on, keep going, I'm ready for them." I laughed. "Number eight--What's the name of the book Nick and his mother are writing?" Rosie asked. "The Heart And Soul Of Nick Carter." I smiled proudly. "Number Nine--Which BSB member is considered a father figure?" Rosie knew it was too easy by the look on her face. "Kevin." "Alright, NUMBER TEN." Rosie announced. "Bring it." "Bring it?" Rosie laughed. "Yep, bring it." I smiled. "Alright, what is Brian's favorite food?" Rosie looked at me. "Okay, it's two things, it's sort of a tie." I replied. "Okay, what are they?" Rosie rushed me. "It's either macaroni and cheese, or cheese pizza, actually anything with cheese. I'm surprised he isn't constipated right now." I laughed. "Hey!" Brian nudged me. "Good job, it looks like everyone is getting a new Backstreet Boy CD!!!!" Rosie displayed the CD. I quickly stood and bowed for the audience very dramatically. Rosie and the guys just laughed at me. "So, when does production end on the movie you're working on right now?" Rosie asked when I sat back down and the crowd stopped cheering. "Well, we start monday, then we have three months." I replied. "What's the name gonna be?" "We don't really have a title for it right now, so I can't really say." I was honest. "Well, when it premieres, you'll have to come back to see me, alright?" Rosie smiled. "Definitely." "And you guys, too. When your new CD comes out next spring, you better come back." Rosie demanded with a laugh. All the guys replied in unison about coming back. "Matt, guys, it's been a total pleasure having all of you." Rosie reached her hand out to me. "Same here." I shook her hand with a smile. "Remember to come back and see me sometime." Rosie smiled. "Definitely." "Now, look at that monitor Matt, and tell everyone who's going to be here tomorrow." Rosie pointed at the monitor-prompt infront of the audience. "Alright, tomorrow Rosie is going to have Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock here to talk about their new movie 'Practical Magic', and music from N'Sync." I announced. "Good deal. Thank you very much, all of you, for coming." Rosie thanked us. The show's credits started rolling and Rosie leaned over to talk to Brian and me since we were the closest to her. She pretty much just thanked us for doing the show and wished us good luck on our projects. After the cameras were off, all of us got up and went into the audience to sign autographs and mingle with the "fans". Brian and I somehow ended up side by side signing autographs, and the woman that was getting an autograph from me asked if we would take a picture with her. Brian and I got on either side of her and put our arms around her shoulders while her friend took the picture. After the picture was taken, each of us gave her a peck on the cheek then moved on. Finally, with all the autographs signed, Brian and I rushed backstage. We ran right past Bryan and ran straight to the green room that I had been in. Brian slammed the door behind us and threw me down on the couch, then straddled my lap. He leaned into me and gave me a deep kiss, shoving his tongue deep into my mouth. I grabbed him around his neck and pulled him into me, grinding my hips up into his. We were just about to start tearing each others clothes off when there was loud pounding knock on the door. "Goddamnit." Brian groaned and jumped off of me. "Yeah?" I hollered when Brian had sat back down. "Ya'll just need to hold off until we leave here." Kevin laughed as the guys and Bryan walked into the room. "Did all of you meet Bry?" I asked when I saw him. "Yeah, we met in the hall deciding wether to knock or not." A.J. laughed and sat down on the couch across from us. Bryan came and sat down next to me and all the guys squeezed in with A.J. on the other couch. We all sat there for awhile talking about bs, nothing really important at all. After about ten minutes, Bryan nudged me hard in the side. "What the....?" I looked at Bryan and realized what he wanted. "Oh! Brian, this is Bryan #2, my assistant." I leaned back letting Brian shake hands with him. I looked across at A.J. and made a stupid face, making him laugh. Brian started talking to Bryan, so I jumped over to the other end of the couch and A.J. came to sit on the arm to talk to me. We all pretty much broke up into our "groups" like usual, and talked for about a half hour before Brian reached over and grabbed my thigh. "Yes sir?" I smiled. "It's about time you take us to see your apartment, isn't it?" Brian smiled evily. "Yeah, guess so. Do you guys have a limo, or do you need to ride with us?" I asked. "I'll ride with ya'll, and the guys can take our limo." Brian smiled at me. "Sounds like a plan." I replied. We all walked out to the limos together, and the two Brian's jumped in my limo and all the other guys jumped into the BSB limo. Bry sat across from Brian and me. I sorta felt sorry for him, 'cause Brian and I were all over each other and being goofy. He didn't seem to mind, though. The BSB limo followed mine across town to my apartment, while Brian and I talked like we were never gonna talk again. "So, how long have ya'll 'been together'?" Bry snapped us back to reality. "Huh?" Brian looked at him. "We've been together for about a month." I replied. "Well, I'm crushed." Bry smiled at Brian. "I knew it." I laughed loudly. "Knew what?" Brian was lost. "I knew you were gay the second I met you." I laughed. "Well, shhhhhhhhhh." Bry laughed. "Nickie's available." I smiled, trying not to bust out laughing. "Is he, too?" Bry smiled widely at the thought. "Yep." "Oh, ok." Brian finally caught on. As soon as Brian acknowledged that he knew what we were talking about, Bry and I cracked up. "Brian, don't you think Nickie and him would look great together?" I smiled. "Yeah, but I don't think Bry here would want to go out with Nick." Brian laughed. "Why's that?" Bry asked. "Nick sorta has a mental problem." Brian replied, keeping a straight face. "What?!?" Bry almost had a heart attack. "He's kidding. There's nothing wrong with Nickie. He's just young and stupid." I laughed since I wasn't much older. "Oh, ok. I kinda like that quality." He laughed with me. Finally we got to my apartment building, and the three of us climbed out of the limo and walked up to the door. The BSB limo arrived just as we were walking in the door. I heard all the guys getting out and running after us. They finally all caught up to us and we all squeezed into the elevator. When we arrived on my floor, we all got out and walked down to my apartment. I opened the door, and let the guys go in and check everything out. Brian pretty much stayed by my side as Bry showed all the guys everything. Brian and I went and sat down on the couch and just stared at each other, wishing that the guys would leave long enough for us to rip into each other. Brian leaned over and kissed me gently, placing his hand on the back of my neck. I felt like jumping on him and ripping his clothes off of him, but all the guys were still there, so I had to restrain myself. Finally, after the guys were shown everything by Bry, they ll came and sat down in the living room with Brian and me. We all bs'ed for awhile, and caught up on everything that had happened since they left L.A. and I came out to New York. I mentioned to A.J. that he was going to have to fix my hair for the movie, and he agreed. "Why don't all of you let Bry take you in our limo to see some sights, then ya'll can come back and we'll all have lunch?" Brian suggested, trying to get the guys to leave. "Don't you guys want to come?" Bry looked confused. "No, we want to stay here and fuck." I put it bluntly, making everyone laugh. "Oh, sorry." Bry turned red. "That's alright, just all of ya'll go do something for an hour, then we'll all go have lunch, k?" I asked. "Alright, com'n guys." Kevin stood, getting the hint. "See ya'." Brian waved at them as they all got up and walked out. "We'll be back in about an hour." Kevin hollered right before they closed the door. As soon as the door was closed, we were ripping each other's clothes off and practically falling off the couch. Brian pushed me down on the couch, and straddled me. I looked up at him as he pulled his shirt off over his head. He was still ravishing after all the times I had seen him without a shirt on. I just laid there for a minute and took him in. He was stunning. "What?" Brian woke me from my stupor. "Huh?" I stuttered. "What are you staring at?" He smiled down at me evily. "You." I answered with a smile. "Well, do you like what you see?" "No, but you'll have to do." I laughed, then reached up and pulled him down on top of me. Within seconds, we were in ecstasy. (Part 24) By the time the guys got back, Brian and I had had time to clean up and make sure the living room was back in order. We both sat there in each other's arms while I was smoking a cigarette until the guys showed back up. Brian and I laughed when we heard them knock tentatively on the door before coming in. We quickly got up and all of us squeezed into the BSB limo to go get lunch. We all had fun talking over lunch and catching up on everything. Bry seemed to be getting into the fact that Nick might be receptive to any advances and spent most of lunch talking to him. Brian and I thought it was funny, but managed to keep from laughing. When everyone else wasn't paying attention, I spoke to A.J. and Brian slowly and deliberately. "Are ya'll getting along after, well, ya' know?" I asked them calmly. "Well, we had a bad spell there the first couple of days, but we're fine now." A.J. smiled at Brian. "Yeah, we talked it out and came up with the logical answer." Brian beamed. "Oh, and what's that?" I was confused. "Well, we both love you, so we thought, threesome." Brian said with a straight face. "Huh?" My eyes bulged. "Yeah, tonight after the concert." A.J. followed Brian's lead. "That will get all of this bullshit out of the way, and we'll be able to get over it." Brian replied. "Are ya'll high?" I sorta laughed. "No, we're fine. And you're gullible." Brian and A.J. both cracked up at the same time. "You assholes!" I slapped Brian in the arm. "I'm sorry, it had to be done." Brian laughed. After lunch, the guys dropped us back off at my apartment and gave us our passes for the concert. Bry and me pretty much lounged around all day. He wouldn't shut up about how much he liked Nick. He mentioned that Nick promised to take him out after the concert. I thought it was cute, but wanted so much to tell Bryan to be careful. The whole time Bry gabbed about Nick, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I was to have Brian to myself. I didn't know how it had happened, but I couldn't get any happier. (Part 25) Okay, fast forward about a month. Production on the officially titled "Club Kids" started the week after Brian and the guys left me again to tour. I was ofcourse upset like last time, but managed to hide it pretty well, and get on with the business at hand. Bry had enjoyed the concert that Thursday night, and I have suspicions that he and Nickie did it, but I haven't pried enough to get the details. He remains pretty smug about it. The day after the concert, I did the interview for Barbara Walters. She was a real lovely woman, and was completely respectful if I didn't want to delve into certain things. After the interview, Brian and the guys spent every waking moment at my apartment until they had to leave. We'd play cards, drink, watch movies, eat and just plain be lazy. Brian and I took my bedroom, A.J. and Kevin shared a bedroom, and Nick and Howie shared the other. Bry was left to sleep on the couch. I got suspicions that Nickie snuck out of the bedroom Friday night and had sex with Bry on the couch, but didn't bother to ask. It made me laugh to think about it anyway. Besides, there were no stains on the couch, so I couldn't get pissed about it. The day Brian left was on Sunday. We pretty much hugged and kissed and got it over with quick so we wouldn't cry. I waved until the bus was out of sight, the Bry and I went back to my apartment. To make a long story short, or atleast shorter, I didn't see Brian for almost a month. Well, atleast not until last night. Last night was the Oscars. Brian and the guys flew in from Germany to root me on. I was happier than hell to see all of them there. I knew without them I wouldn't have been able to go and keep a smile without puking my guts out. So anyway, there we were, sitting fourth row, aisle seats. Brian told all the guys he wanted me to sit on the aisle so I wouldn't have to climb over them to get on the stage when they called my name. I just laughed and told him he was full of shit. "What are you going to do if you win?" Brian kept asking me. "I'll gonna try to get up on stage and get that little gold man before I puke." I laughed. I managed to sit through the whole almost three hour show without puking, when finally, it was time. Jennifer Lopez was the presenter. I didn't know who's name she was going to call, but I didn't really care, I just wanted her to do it and get it over with. Brian grabbed my hand as it rested on the arm of the chair and squeezed it as she started her monologue and told a joke that I didn't care to hear. I just sat there dumbfounded as she announced all the nominees one last time to make sure we hadn't forgotten. Then the envelope opened. "And the winner is....Matt Thompson." Jennifer announced with much enthusiasm. I was totally gone, I didn't know what to do. "Goddamnit, get up and get that award, Matt." Brian laughed and shoved me, trying to get me to stand. "Oh my god." I started laughing, I couldn't help it. I finally was able to stand, followed by all the guys. They all took turns giving me a hug. When I got to giving Brian a hug, I'll never forget what he said. "This is just the start of something beautiful." He stated with a laugh. (THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR, EVEN ON A RAINY DAY, THEY'LL TELL YOU THE SKY IS CLEAR, WHEN YOU REALLY REALLY LOVE SOMEONE AM I RIGHT WHEN I SAY THAT YOU WANT THEM NEAR AND IF YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THEM THINGS THEY WANT TO HEAR ALWAYS FOREVER) Hope it was worth the wait. I guess this doesn't leave any loose ends for ya'll. Brian and Matt are staying together, Matt won the Oscar, Brian, A.J. and Nick are all getting along, yada yada yada. Anyway, hope all of you enjoyed it, and remember to e-mail me or give me a jingle on ICQ if you want!!! Take Care!!!!! Leprechaun
