Date: Sat, 4 Aug 2001 23:44:33 -0700 (PDT) From: John D Subject: BSB Heart's Assunder Announcement I will be moving in two weeks and so will be delayed in my future postings and eventual finish for The Hearts Assunder Trilogy. I will of course work long and hard up to that point in trying to get as many installments of Heart's Promises out. Although my schedule is quickly becoming very hectic, I will make time for the finish of this story. Thank you again for all your support, compliments, criticisms, and suggestions. Without any of you all I do not think that this story would have lasted this long. John Here's a short trailer for Heart's Promises. ******************************************************* BSBHAB 3: Trailer "Things that go bump in the night." "Well I'll see you later then, man." Bryan gave Burc a friendly slap on his huge upper arm as he went into the building, leaving the other man to finish his watch. "Yeah, enjoy the show." Burc rumbled back just as friendly as the other man disappeared behind the VIP entrance. Burc cracked his neck from side to side as he went to lock up the car. It hasn't been long since John, his most recent -- not to mention his all time favorite one -- ex-partner turned out to be a psychopath trying to kill Nick Carter in a crazed attempt at trying to win the young man's affection. Burc still couldn't believe it though, John was such a nice guy. 'I guess it's true what they say about not really 'knowing' someone.' He thought to himself as he bent down to pickup his dropped keys. "Hi, Burc," A familiar voice whispered quietly only inches away from the back of his head. Burc froze in mid motion. There had been noone there just now. But the voice. It couldn't be, he-he-he was dead! Wasn't he? Burc started to turn to face the new comer but the other was suddenly on his back. Burc struggled to straighten up, but the other had managed to get a good footing under the big man that it was not long before Burc found himself eating dust off the concrete floor of the parking garage. After a loud and sickening crack, Burc's face quickly became a mask of blood as he felt his nose give against the hard concrete floor. His head began to spin. Darkness threatened to envelope him from all sides. His head throbbed along with his frantic heart beat. His breath came in groans; while his eyes bulged and teared with the cruel bump. Burc grunted again, this time managing to turn his head a little just in time to watch that ghost-like young face rear back and strike! Finally Burc succumbed to the pain and fell deep and hard into unconsciousness, while he felt his life's blood drain from him through the small identical and deep puncture wounds on his thickly corded neck. *** Check out Hearts Promises. I promise that at least two will be posted before I move. John
