Date: Thu, 1 Feb 2001 03:06:05 EST From: Bangoremail@aol.com Subject: Flying Without Wings - 2 Greetings everyone, First off please note the new email address at the bottom. I will be using that one for now on. I have received so much great positive response I just can't tell you how happy I am. It seems the proposal went over well. Thanks to everyone who has written. As always I accept ideas gladly for events or things you'd like to see in the story. Some notes from the previous chapter. I always strive to make the story as real as possible so the trip to Niagara falls did happen, also the fireworks on top of a garage or something. I just inserted Jamie into what was already there. I'm still trying to figure out how to fit Dirk into the story. I know from Mel's tour reports that Lance got him right around July 4th, but I haven't decided if I'll include him or when. Wanted to wish Joey and Justin a happy birthday... Wow, Justin is no longer a teenager!! While I'm at it I should wish Nick Carter a happy 21st. (same birthday as Joey - how weird is that?) I know this chapter turned out long but hey... that's just more story to enjoy, right? : ) As usual: This story is purely fiction and is not intended to imply anything about the true sexuality of 'N Sync or anyone associated with their organization. It is meant for those over the age of 18 only and those who wish to read stories with sexual content. ****** Flying Without Wings - Chapter Two Early morning sunlight shining in his eyes woke Jamie from a peaceful slumber. Reaching to the curtain above the head of the bed he moved it to block the sun better. He was on his back and Justin was face down, half laying on him, one arm draped across his waist, his head on Jamie's shoulder. Justin's deep even breathing tickled his chest, the warm breeze teasing his nearby nipple. A shaft of light escaping around the curtain ran across Justin's cheek and neck to his shoulder. Words floated into Jamie's mind at the sight. "Well, for me it's waking up beside you, to watch the sun rise on your face." He grinned as a warm feeling spread through him. Justin -was- his special thing that made him feel on top of the world and every word was true. Taking quiet comfort in Justin's warmth beside him, he lay thinking that he never could be any happier. Justin hit the nail on the head a few days ago about his love growing, Jamie felt it too. Stretching his legs a little he noticed how well rested he felt. Since the proposal he'd definitely been sleeping better, the nightmares seemingly to have disappeared. The past two days had been good for everyone to relax and make up some much needed sleep. They still had today and tomorrow then the tour would continue into it's final few weeks. The rest of the words from that verse came to mind. "To know that I can say I love you at any given time or place." Jamie sighed. Well, truthfully they -could- do that now, they just had to be careful about it at certain times. Justin was right, somewhat, about one thing. It did sometimes bother Jamie that they had to hide, but not really to the extent that Justin thought. Of course, he would still be just as happy to silently live together, but he did echo Justin's wishes to be able to hold hands and go out together whenever they wanted with no worry. A feeling of unease accompanied that wish. As much as being public appealed to him he didn't want to destroy Justin's career or that of the others. It was a certain possibility. The public was a fickle thing, especially their teen audience. Of course the recording industry shared some of the blame for that. By making teen idols like NSync appear to be available boyfriends to the average teenybopper, such an unrealistic thing really, they perpetuated the 'girlfriends are bad and don't ever be gay or you won't have any fans' myth. Jamie did not want what happened to Stephen Gately to happen here. If Justin -had- to come out to avert being outed himself by tabloids or the regular press it would hurt him and the group and Jamie would never forgive himself. Boyzone had called it quits citing many reasons: artistic differences, management problems, tired of the life, the need to grow in other directions. Jamie suspected and Lance just about confirmed that even though the group knew it was a possibility, Stephen's outing did much damage to their image and the way they treated each other. Jamie sighed and looked down at his fiance and smiled. They -were- careful. With the exception of the kiss at Niagara Falls they had been very cautious and on guard when in public, which, since the tour started, really wasn't alot. Hopefully something useful would be decided at their meeting today. Jamie was at a loss on how to go about it all. Mel would be on the speakerphone with them and hopefully could come up with a game plan from their thoughts and ideas. He turned his attention to the warm body draped over him. 'God, I love him so much,' he thought and hugged Justin tightly. Justin murmured in his sleep and returned the embrace. Jamie smiled and ran his fingers through Justin's curls. He had let his hair grow and they were really long and full. Jamie loved playing with them. Justin sighed and started lightly kissing the skin of Jamie's chest still deep asleep. Jamie giggled softly, loving how responsive Justin was. It made him feel more loved and wanted that, even in his sleep, Justin needed to touch him. It went far beyond what Lance had described as the 'octopus.' There were many times that Jamie would wake up to Justin fondling him while snoring lightly. With a content, deep breath, Jamie brought his hand down Justin's shoulder to his arm and ran his fingers through the hair on his forearm. Justin squirmed a little and lifted his head. "Morning, sweet pea," he mumbled out with squinted eyes then put his head back down and snuggled into Jamie. Jamie giggled a little. "Don't feel like getting up yet?" Justin's response was a muffled 'Nmmpth' which Jamie took as a negative. "Ok, I'll go make us breakfast and we can have it in bed." Justin didn't hear a word, he was already back asleep. Jamie untangled himself, threw on some sweats and headed to the kitchen. Lance was sitting at the table eating a bagel and nursing a cup of coffee. "You're up early. Josh still asleep?" "Oh ya. I assume Justin is too." "You know it. Why did we both get the sleepy ones?" "Just lucky. Chris and Joey grabbed Phil a minute ago and went out walking." Jamie chuckled. "If they think they can tire him out they have another thing coming." Lance laughed. "Jamie, can I ask you something?" "Sure." Jamie turned and put a couple of bagels in the toaster oven and poured a bowl of cereal. "What's Phil's story?" "Story?" Jamie turned and looked at Lance. "Um... is Phil gay?" Jamie laughed. "Yes he is. Don't worry, he wouldn't mind even if you asked him. He's a pretty free spirit and not afraid for anyone to know." "Ah. I kinda suspected but didn't know for sure. When did you find out?" "Right after I was forced to come out," Jamie said with a smirk. "I was so mad at him. He's always hated not getting any attention." Lance laughed. "I can see that. What happened? You mentioned it once before but I'd like to hear the full story." "Not much to tell really. When I was a freshman in High School I had a friend, Jeremy, and we were pretty close. Well, after being good friends things sorta... well, you know. We started by kissing and moved to touching. One day after school he was over and staying for dinner. We were in my room but Phil was around and there was no privacy. So we went out into the backyard and hid behind the garage figuring nobody would find us." "Oh, bad assumption," Lance said with a laugh. "You know it. Well we were kissing and then pulled down our pants and we were making out and feeling each other up. We were so into it that we didn't hear Dan calling us for dinner. Before we knew it he was right there and caught us." "That's too classic." Lance was giggling at Jamie's memory. "Glad you think it's funny. Well, it is now, I guess, but at the time I was just mortified. Dan had a real good time making us feel -very- uncomfortable and poor Jeremy just pulled up his pants and ran home. Dan dragged me into the house and forced me to tell Ma and of course Phil heard too. I was crying and scared to death. This was a secret I intended to keep for a very long time." "I can understand that. So what happened next?" "My mom was very understanding and made sure I knew she accepted me and Dan did the same. Phil was just sitting there with these wide eyes. Dan had to shake him to snap him out of it. And he said 'You're gay too?' Just like that. We were all in shock, Phil was only 12 at the time but he was always doing things early." Jamie shook his head, smiling at the memory. "Whatever happened to Jeremy?" "He was too scared about the whole thing even after Dan told him he wasn't going to beat him up. We didn't talk much after that and grew apart. Last I knew he was going to school at Notre Dame. So what brought all this up?" Lance looked down. "Well, I think Phil is interested in Joey." "Your kidding? Joey? But he has this major crush on Nick Carter and the guy he's currently interested in at school is also tall and blond. Where does Joey fit in with that?" Lance shrugged. "I have no idea. All I can say is he's been just about glued to Joey's side the last few days and he keeps looking at him funny." "I guess I should have a little talk with him. Do you think Joey knows?" "I think he suspects but is cool with it. Actually I think he's a little flattered." Jamie laughed. "Well, I wish them both well." He got the cooked bagels out of the toaster oven and put them on a plate. Grabbing some cream cheese, bananas and orange juice, he put it all on a tray. "Talk to you a little later," he said as he left for the bedroom. ------ "Mel, you there?" Lance asked into the speaker phone they had placed on the coffee table. "You bet and can hear you just fine." "Great. Now we're gonna have a group talk about all this. I want Mel to listen so she knows where we all stand," Lance started. Jamie sat nervously next to Justin as the meeting started. He zoned in on Lance's voice as he followed the 'form' that they used for all their important group meetings. It always amazed Jamie just how organized as a group they were. They had a ritual for just about everything. "Ok. We've called this meeting to discuss group business. Everyone remember that here we all have an equal voice and that anything said stays here with the group. Nothing said is meant personally and if you have something to say then you need to say it." Lance looked around at the nodding faces around him and settled on Jamie who was looking down at his hands. "Mel, Jamie and Phil have been asked to be a part of this meeting because it either effects them personally or we need their input to help us. Justin please state the reason we're here." Justin cleared his throat. "Two weeks ago Jamie and I became engaged. I promised Jamie that when we got married I would be out and we wouldn't hide the relationship from that point on." "Ok, the floor is open for any comments." "Justin," Phil said in wonder, "you're just so awesome. You'd do that?" Jamie smiled remembering that his family hadn't heard that part of the proposal just yet. "Yes, Phil," Justin nodded. "Your brother means that much to me." "Let me play devil's advocate for a second," Joey said. "Why is it necessary for you to come out for you two to be married? NSync aside, you realize what it might do to -your- career?" "I kept asking myself those questions the last two months, Joe. As far as my career goes, I know it's a risk, but one I'm willing to take. And for the why, well, I want to do this for us. What really convinced me was when Kevin from the BSB got engaged then married and they announced it. Up until that point whether or not he had a girlfriend was only speculation but once he took that step he didn't hide it. I'm very serious about this relationship and being honest about it is important to me." Joey had a wide smile on his face. He suspected the answer but just wanted to hear it from Justin directly. "I just want everyone to know from the beginning that I haven't pressured Justin into this at all. I know that it might seem that way. We have talked about being out, but only in general terms. I was just as surprised as the rest of you," Jamie said. Chris laughed. "Oh, I think we all knew that from your reaction." Everyone giggled. Phil grinned at Jamie knowing there was a good story involved here. "Ok, does anyone else have a question or comment about this?" Lance asked. "I have something to say," Mel's voice came over the speaker. "I just wanted you all to know that today I'm speaking for myself, Johnny and all of WEG. We are prepared to back you 100 percent no matter what you decide here." "Thanks, Mel," Justin said quietly. "If nobody else has anything to say then we take a vote. Do we agree to help Justin and Jamie in this and back them fully as a group?" "Before we vote, Lance, I'd like to make sure that we do this only if the vote is unanimous." Jamie paused gathering his thoughts. "I don't want one of you pulled in against your will. So please, if you want to vote 'no' then do it. The last thing I want to do is pressure you into agreeing with the group. I won't think any less of you and will love you just as much, probably more, for being honest. It's -your- careers too. Also that no matter how we do it, -I- will make sure that it's done in such a way that NSync isn't hurt. Justin is doing this for us and I want to do that for you." "Everyone agree with Jamie's request?" Everyone nodded to Lance's question. "Fine. We go around the circle. Mel?" Lance asked. "Of course we here vote yes." "Thanks, Mel. Well, I vote yes. I want to do whatever I can to help. Chris?" "Timberlake, ever since I met you, you've been a pain in my ass," Chris started with a smile, "and you still are, but I love you more than my own sisters. I meant it when I said that you leaving this group was not an option, so don't even start thinking that way. We'll win out with this, together we can do anything. I vote yes." Joey patted Chris on the back. "Well, I don't know what I could say to add to that. We all know that, as a group, we might not even be here a year or two from now. I'm confident you and Jamie will be and you have to look out for that. I know that we all have other things we're interested in and we won't be out on the street if NSync was no more. Besides, it might even do some good, so I vote yes, too." Phil sat there stunned by what he was hearing. "I really don't have anything to say. Of course I support my brother, so I vote yes. I knew that Justin loved him, I can't figure out why, but he does and now I know just how much." Justin kept it simple. He was choked up and didn't trust his voice. "My vote is yes and I love y'all." A single tear ran down Jamie's cheek. "You guys are too much. I vote yes with the promise that I'll see to it that NSync survives. I couldn't have that on my shoulders." Justin reached over and took his hand and kissed the back of it. Everyone turned to JC who was last in line next to Lance. He looked thoughtful and deeply concerned. Looking around at the faces staring at him he spoke. "I guess you need my answer too." "Josh, if you feel uncomfortable about this or have any doubts then vote 'no'," Jamie urged. He took JC's hands in his and looked him straight in the eye. "Which way you vote won't affect how I or anyone else feels about you. You know that." JC smiled. "But it would still be shitty to be the one 'no' vote." Jamie was about to interrupt. "No, I don't mean it that way. I'll be honest. I'm scared. But I know it would be really rotten for me to stop this knowing that I... that Lance and I will have to face the same decision at some point. So I vote yes and hope to God it works out." Everyone sighed with the realization of what they decided. Looking around the circle Jamie saw expressions ranging from unease to fierce determination. Lance once again took charge of the meeting. "Ok, so that's decided. Now the big question, how? Anybody have any ideas, we're gonna brainstorm and let Mel work out a plan of action." Mel's voice came over the speaker. "We're really treading new ground here in a way. Up until now gay artists have only become known two ways: either after a long time of speculation ending in admission like Elton John and KD Lang or after something controversial like George Michael or Freddie Mercury. What happened to Stephen Gately is close but I'd rather not have Justin come out because someone is blackmailing him." "But you know," Chris interrupted, "as an ending that's not bad. Public reaction to that was mostly positive because they felt that he was being targeted and persecuted. Getting fan sympathy is a good thing to ease that shock." "Good point, Chris," Joey agreed. "But what do we do before that?" Everyone sat in silence for a few minutes while they thought. Mel excused herself to consult with some of the staff at the compound. Phil felt a little uncomfortable in the silence so wanted to fill it while everybody thought. "You know, when I'm in the chat rooms about you guys and the other bands, gossip goes back and forth all the time. For the most part nobody believes it, but every so often something makes it onto the MTV message boards and gets discussed to death. Once it makes it there, it's almost assumed to be fact, which is pretty stupid, really. The last bit of 'known fact' had Brian Littrell as bisexual but mostly gay and we all know he's engaged to the chick from the video." Lance shared an alarmed look with JC but quickly covered it. Phil glanced up to see everyone grinning at him. "Um... sorry, just filling the dead air." Lance looked back at Jamie and smiled. "You thinking what I'm thinking, Jamie?" "That my lame-brained brother is short a marble?" Jamie giggled. Lance laughed. "Well that, ya, plus he's got a great idea." "Huh?" JC asked completely lost. "We start a campaign to out Justin. You with me so far, Mel?" "If you're saying what I think you are, sure am." "So how does it work?" Justin asked. "First we start rumors on all the boyband chats and message boards we can. We come up with, let's say, five or so different rumors about you, starting with breaking up with Britney all the way to spending alot of time with Jamie but never mentioning his name or anything." The light went on in Joey's eyes. "I get it. Then once those are getting old we start new ones increasing the heat with them until the boards and chats have pretty much decided that Justin is gay." "How long would something like this take, Phil?" Chris asked deep in thought. "Depends, weeks, maybe months. But considering it's Justin probably not long, he's a pretty hot subject in any chat or message board." "What do you think, Mel?" Lance asked. "It sounds like a good place to start, plus it will be a good way to get a feel for fan reaction." "WEG and Jive still monitor those boards right?" "Sure do Lance. It would be real easy for us to start something." "Good, and we can help as well. I'm sure Phil will be the champion of the cause." "You bet," Phil agreed enthusiastically. Lance continued with the sketchy plan he'd formed in his head. "While we're doing that we tie Jamie even more closely to us in the public eye. He'll be on tour with us for the rest of the month so there's that, and he'll be on the HBO special. When we introduce the band at shows Justin will introduce Jamie calling him our close friend. Not much different from what we did with Dani to get the fans used to her." Lance stopped to think for a second. "How would you like to be an artistic consultant for Freelance?" he directed to Jamie. "Um, sure, I guess. What do I have to do?" "You know that special next month on MTV to finish the open call I made for talent?" Jamie nodded. "Robin Wiley was going to be the Freelance representative on the judging panel but she'd rather not do it, so I thought you'd be perfect. Pink agreed to do it and so did Brian McKnight, you'd fit right in. It get's you associated with me and NSync that way and your name and face out to our fans." "Sure, sounds like fun." Justin was nodding his head. "Then what?" "So, after we've got those two things up and running for awhile we start a slow trickle of publicity leaks concerning you two. Pictures or rumors sent to the gossip rags mostly. People only half believe everything in them, but eventually the stories will make it into the mainstream press." "Oh man, this is so devious. I love it," Chris said with a large smile. Lance nodded with a smile. "Once the mainstream press starts to pick up on this we start upping your 'appearances' together so that you'll certainly get caught. Nothing scandalous, just being together doing normal things like eating out and shopping. When this all starts you both answer the 'are you dating someone or each other' question with a negative. That's not really a lie, because you're engaged, not dating. As the heat grows you'll move slowly into 'that's very private and I don't talk about that in public.' By the time you actually come out it really won't be news because most people will already have assumed it anyway." "Chris is right. That's devious and really clever," Joe agreed. "It's really no different to what happens in real life, except we're controlling it instead of letting it run it's natural course," Lance said. "Of course it will take some time to do all this so it -seems- natural, but I don't think we're in any hurry." Lance looked over to Jamie who shook his head in agreement. "I don't know Lance," Justin said, an expression of concern on his face. "It just seems so manipulative to me." "I agree," Jamie said. "But it's a good plan that gives us lots of time to prepare your fans to make sure that NSync isn't hurt in the process because we focus on just Justin and me the whole way." He looked at Justin with a smile. Justin returned it and lay his head on Jamie's shoulder. "What do you think, Mel?" Lance asked. "It's brilliant and so easy to do from the PR standpoint. It's pretty similar to what we do to create buzz about album releases and appearances." Jamie looked over to JC who'd been fairly quiet the entire time with a blank expression on his face. "Josh? What do you think?" JC looked up and met Jamie's eyes. "It might work. What happens if we start getting alot of negative flack?" "Well..." Lance started. "If at any time the negatives outweigh the positives then I pull the plug on the whole deal," Jamie interrupted. Everyone started to break in. "No!" Jamie said forcefully. "I -won't- have any of your careers on my conscience. There is only one thing to consider." "What's that?" Joey asked. "Once Justin comes out there will be obvious questions about the rest of you. Joey and Chris are safe, but what about you guys?" Jamie asked looking at Lance and JC. JC grabbed Lance's hand as they looked at each other. JC was slightly pale and took a deep breath. "We cross that bridge when we come to it. At first it will be easy to deflect the questions because it will be Justin's time and we can claim privacy. Eventually we'll come out too." "Josh," Jamie said sitting close to him and putting an arm around his shoulder, "I know this is scaring you to death. I want you to tell me when you can't deal with it no matter when that comes. We can stop it at any time." "I'll be ok." JC smiled at Jamie and pulled him into a hug. "Of all the people for him to fall in love with, I'm glad it was you," he said softly. They separated both in tears. ------ Stuffed from eating what Jamie called the best Chinese food in town, Phil drove them to the party. "Phil, where is it?" Jamie asked. "At Nana's," Phil answered quietly. "It was the only place big enough for everyone." Jamie sighed sadly. He hadn't even thought of the house since his grandmother's funeral when the family had gone in to get something for each of them to remember her by. That was the day Jamie had gotten the Hummel. Justin put his arm around Jamie and pulled him in tight and held him. They arrived a few moments later in front of a huge house with decorations all around the immense yard. It was in a quieter neighborhood with lots of space between the houses. "Wow," was all Joey could say that summed up all their thoughts. They went to the gate and were greeted by Jamie's mom and one of his aunts who pulled them all into the yard filled with Jamie's relatives. Jamie and Justin made their rounds to each group of people some of whoo Justin remembered from Nana's funeral. After nearly an hour of everyone fussing over their rings they were left to mingle as they wanted. Justin sat at a table to ease his aching feet while Jamie was caught between two older aunts. Pat sat down next to him with a smile. "Don't let them get to you. Everyone's just happy that someone is going to get married. It's been awhile since the last family wedding." Justin laughed. "I can't believe they're all so good about it." "I think you'll find people in Maine a little more open from what you would think. There is an unspoken rule in Maine: Live your life and leave others to theirs. It works amazingly well plus everyone in the family adores Jamie." "I can see that, so do I," Justin said absently while watching Jamie talk to one of his aunts. Jamie turned his head, caught Justin's eye and winked. Justin smiled broadly and a pleasant heat rose in his chest. Pat nudged him and laughed. "Oh ya, you have it bad." Justin blushed and excused himself to go to Jamie. Jamie's aunts let him go with a smile as Justin approached. A few couples were dancing near where one of Jamie's cousins, Robert, was acting as DJ so Justin took Jamie's hand, led him there and pulled him into his arms. They stared into each other's eyes, smiling at one another as they danced to the appreciative sighs of Jamie's relatives. Not saying a word, they swayed to the slow tune holding each other close. A tear fell down Jamie's cheek and he tucked his head on Justin's shoulder. Justin squeezed him lovingly. "Please tell me we can do this forever," Jamie said huskily. "For the rest of our lives and beyond. I don't think I've told you in the last hour that I love you." Jamie lifted his head to see tears in Justin's eyes as well. "I love you too." He reached up and Justin reached down and they kissed almost forgetting where they were. A loud 'Aww' and a smattering of applause brought them back with blushes as they noticed everyone watching them with smiles on their faces. As the song ended, Dan hopped up on the porch where the stereo was stationed and grabbed a mike. "Hey everyone, I just got in." He waved as the family greeted him warmly. Looking right at Jamie and Justin, he continued. "I've got to say that I couldn't be happier for Sonny. Justin's a great guy and I wish them all the best." A chorus of 'here here' rang out over the yard. Dan jumped down the stairs and went over the them and hugged them both together. "Danno, it's so good to see you. I was worried you wouldn't make it." "I couldn't miss my brother's engagement party, now could I?" "Thanks for coming, Dan. It means alot to both of us," Justin said sincerely. "Anytime, little brother," he replied with a smile that started Justin crying. He hugged Dan tighter as Jamie looked on with a happy grin. "Hey, Curly, you ok?" Joey asked coming up to them. Justin and Dan separated and Justin wiped his eyes. "I'm fine, just a little emotional." Joey smiled at him and gave him a pat on the back before he was pulled back to dancing by one of Jamie's female cousins. Justin smiled at Dan, slightly embarrassed. "Sorry, but except for the guys I'm really an only child. My half brothers are too young and I don't see them nearly enough. When you called me that, it hit me just right." "You never have to apologize for showing how you feel." Dan smiled and squeezed Justin's shoulder. "You're part of our family now, so get used to it," he joked. Justin smiled and Jamie hugged him. "See that's why I love him," Jamie said with a grin. "Well, I'm gonna get some eats and say hi to everyone. I'll catch you on the fly." Dan waved and was off. "Sweet pea, can we get a little privacy for a minute?" "Sure." Jamie took Justin's hand and led him into the house and to a deserted back room off the kitchen. "This ok?" "Very, I just needed some alone time." Justin pulled Jamie into his arms and kissed him. They held each other and kissed for several long minutes before they heard some male voices from outside one window. Being curious they quietly went over and peaked out. What they saw brought a smile to their faces. Phil was in the arms of a taller blond boy and was kissing him. "Is that...?" Justin asked. "Jason, ya," Jamie answered with a nod. "Let's go have a little fun." They quietly left and rounded the house, Justin in the lead. They peeked around the corner and saw that Phil and Jason were still kissing. Justin rounded the corner and stood with his hands on his hips, Jamie just behind and beside him. "Just what the hell do you think you're doing with my little brother?" he said in a loud voice. Phil and Jason broke apart quickly a blush rising in their cheeks. Phil recovered first and gave Justin a hateful stare. Jason looked like he wanted to die. "Justin, I can't believe..." Phil started. "You be quiet," Jamie said getting into the fun. "So, Jason, what are your intentions with my brother?" Justin continued. "Don't answer him, Jason. He's not my brother... yet." Jason stood there uncertain about what to do. He took a good look at Justin once he got his fright under control and paled. "Oh my God! You're -that- Justin. Phil wasn't kidding when he said he knew you!" Justin smiled and shrugged. "Yup, the one and only." "And you're gonna marry Jamie? Wow, that's big." Justin went up to Jason and put and arm around his shoulder. Jamie noticed that Jason was just a little taller than Justin. "Jason, I need you to do me a big favor." "Oh sure, anything." "You have to forget you met me or at least keep it to yourself. You understand?" "Oh," he said realizing what he had found out. "My lips are sealed. Your secret's safe here. I'm not out either," he said slightly embarrassed. "Hey, when you're ready you'll know it. It's nothing to be ashamed about." Jason smiled at Justin's soothing words. "So do you like him?" Justin whispered conspiratorially. Jason blushed and looked back at Phil who was glaring at Jamie. "Ya, alot." "He is cute, huh?" Jason blushed. "Very." Justin grinned at him. "Well, just treat him good, ok? He's a nice guy and I think he likes you too." "You bet, Justin." "So why don't you and Phil go join the party and I'll make sure you meet the guys." "You mean you're all here?" he asked getting excited. "Yes, but nobody can know. We're on a short vacation and don't need the press all over us." "You can count on me." Justin patted him on the back. "Great. Go ahead and have some fun." Jason looked over to Phil, reached out and grabbed his hand. Phil's smile lit up his face as they went back around the house to the party. Justin and Jamie followed a moment later their arms around each other. The party continued and everyone had a great time. Justin excused himself and Jamie sat and talked with some cousins he hadn't seen in awhile. After a few minutes Justin's voice came over the speakers. "Jamie, could you come out front here?" Jamie smirked and walked to the front of the dance area. "Ok, what's up your sleeve?" he asked to the chuckles of his relatives. "First I want to thank everybody for making me feel so welcome into your family. It means so much to me and to Jamie and we really appreciate the effort to put something like this together." He paused looking at Jamie. "I wanted to do something special for Jamie today. It always seems like he sings to us and we love it, so I thought I'd sing to him." Justin nodded to Robert, who loaded a CD that Justin handed him. The music started and Jamie recognized the song immediately, a broad smile on his face. Justin took a deep breath and began. "There's a certain sound Always follows me around. When you're close to me You will hear it. It's the sound that lovers Finally will discover When there is no other For their love. It's the happy heart you hear Singing loud and singing clear And it's all because you're near me, my love. Take my happy heart away Make me love you, make my day In your arms I want to stay, oh my love." The party practically stopped to listen to Justin's voice. Jamie's mother went to his side and hugged her son to her. As was usual when Justin sang to him, he was crying. Justin had that effect on him and he loved every minute. "Even more and more Like I've never felt before You have changed my life So completely. Music fills my soul, love I've lost all control now I'm not half, I'm whole now With your love It's the happy heart you hear Singing loud and singing clear And it's all because you're near me, my love Take my happy heart away Make me love you, make my day In your arms I want to stay, oh my love." ------ The half moon lit up the pond as Justin and Jamie sat at the end of the dock, their feet dangling over the edge making their own small waves and ripples. They had their arms around each other as they watched the silvery light on the water. "You make me so happy," Justin said out of the blue. Jamie smiled. "And you make me happy. Where did you learn a Petula Clark song anyway?" "I have my sources," he said smugly. "You're a man full of surprises, Justin Timberlake." "You inspire me, Jameson Campbell." They giggled together enjoying the fresh night air. The party had been a great success and they all had more than a little to drink. Both Jamie and Justin were buzzed but not drunk. It was a nice relaxed feeling that they both enjoyed especially when intimate. They nuzzled each other's necks and touched each other in a little game they did to excite each other, a hold over from Jamie's therapy. Without warning Justin put his hand behind Jamie's head and pulled them together. As soon as their lips touched, Justin's tongue possessed Jamie's mouth causing him to moan as he melted against Justin. Another side effect of alcohol, Jamie remembered, was that Justin's dominant side came out while Jamie became more submissive. Jamie loved Justin like this and he never could figure out exactly why. Maybe it was the total trust that Jamie had to have in Justin for this to be pleasurable. It reminded Jamie just how far he had come. Justin was still the gentle considerate lover that he always was, but a little alcohol brought out a controlling instinct within him that contained an almost animal desire to take and give pleasure. They lay back on the dock still kissing hungrily. One of Jamie's hands went into Justin's hair, his fingers quickly getting tangled in the curls. The other one wormed up the front of Justin's shirt to feel his chest and pecs. Justin's hands went down the back of Jamie's shorts to caress his ass. They both groaned as their passion mounted. When Jamie felt Justin's fingers travel along and into the crack searching for his hole he went for one of Justin's nipples and played with it roughly. "Maybe... we... should... go... to... bed..." he said between deep kisses. "I want to make love to you," was Justin's response. Without another word they stood and ran into the cabin. Giggling softly, they played at goosing each other as they went to their bedroom leaving knowing snickers from the others behind them. Once behind the closed door Justin again took control and stripped Jamie before he could even take three steps to the bed. "You do that really good now," Jamie laughed, then stripped Justin just as quickly. Knowing Justin's mood he knelt in front of him and started licking his semi-erect cock. Justin put both hands on Jamie's head and lovingly ran his fingers through the soft strands. "Oh ya, sweet pea. Suck me, that feels great." Jamie smiled and took the head into his mouth and ran his tongue around it making Justin moan in pleasure. Using one hand he stroked the shaft while working on the head. Justin started shivering and pulled Jamie's head gently toward him. Jamie gladly took more of him into his mouth and throat before slowly bobbing on him. Justin slowly backed up and sat on the bed. Jamie followed him not losing contact or his rhythm. Within no time Justin was close to cumming. Jamie let him, savoring the sweet and salty taste as Justin grunted with each shot. He knew that now Justin would be good to go for awhile before cumming again. Justin pulled Jamie onto the bed and lay on top of him. "Can I make love to you?" "You never have to ask." They kissed as they ground into each other. Before too long Justin was again fully hard. After applying some lube he entered Jamie making them both gasp. He set a slow even rhythm that made Jamie see stars. Justin moved slightly so that he probed deeply and rubbed Jamie's prostate with each movement of his hips. Jamie gasped and looked into Justin's eyes seeing a promise of a long night of passion for both of them. ------ Jamie's world spun away as his third orgasm took over his senses. Justin was still making love to him when he could see clearly once again. They were both covered with sweat and Jamie was coated with his own semen. His hips had begun to ache a little as his heart slowed to a more normal speed. They had been at it for awhile and Justin had yet to cum inside him. Jamie's first orgasm had come quickly and Justin continued to make love to him. He had tried to bring Justin with him for his second by stroking his chest and nipples. Justin had grabbed his hands and held them down while sucking on Jamie's neck pushing him over the edge. For this last one, Justin had changed tactics and switched to shallow even jabs directly into his prostate. Jamie's orgasm built with increasing intensity until he'd let go with no other stimulation and still Justin continued to make love to him. Jamie knew he'd have get Justin to cum soon or his heart would stop. With a grin he pulled Justin fully against him as they rested a bit. Justin gently rocked his hips, slightly moving inside of Jamie. "JuJu, please fuck me now. I want you to cum inside me." Justin grinned and kissed Jamie deeply as his hips picked up the pace. Before long he was pushing fast, hard, and deep into Jamie. Jamie cried out in pleasure. The slight pain from being penetrated so deeply forgotten in other feelings. He was hard again, incredibly, and Justin was stroking him in time with his thrusts. Jamie reached up and started roughly playing with Justin's nipples bringing a throaty groan. "I'm so close, Jamie. I don't want it to end," Justin gasped. Jamie felt another orgasm approach and moaned into Justin's mouth. "Please, cum with me." They came at the same time groaning each other's names loudly. Justin shuddered repeatedly as he shot continuously into Jamie. Their tongues dueled in their mouths while they gasped for air. Soon it was over and Justin sadly withdrew with a sigh. Jamie lowered his legs with a gasp. "You ok, sweet pea?" "I'm fine. My hips are a little sore." Justin rolled off Jamie and started kneading the muscles in Jamie's thighs and hips. "That feels better." They snuggled up while Justin played with the cum streaking Jamie's body. "So, you think four times was enough?" "Oh, definitely. Two enough for you?" "You bet. Number two was intense enough for about three of them so I think we're even." Justin nuzzled Jamie's neck and kissed his jaw. "Thank you, Justin." "You're welcome," he replied automatically. "Um, for what?" "For loving me and letting me love you." "You are very sweet, you know that?" Jamie grinned. "So are you, anything else?" Justin giggled. "Yes, sweet and lovable, smart, talented, handsome, sexy, irresistible... the list goes on and on." "That sounds good." "Come one, let's take a quick shower then get some sleep." ------ They had just gotten out of the shower with towels around their waists and back into the bedroom when someone started loudly knocking on the door. Jamie opened it to admit a frantic and worried Lance. "Help me please?" he cried. Tears were streaming down his cheeks. "Lance, what's wrong?" Justin asked. "We were all outside drinking a little, talking and roasting marshmallows when Josh just lost it and ran into the woods. We can't find him, I'm worried to death." Jamie took Lance into his arms and rubbed his back. "I'm sure he'll be ok, there's nothing out there that can hurt him. How long has he been gone?" "We've been looking for him for almost two hours," Lance wailed. Jamie and Justin shared a worried look and quickly got dressed. tbc...
