Chapter 95

Justin stared at his lover, Jolan at the stove cooking breakfast, his back to him.

Justin smiled, remembering last night's passion, his Jolan giving into all of Justin's needs.

Jolan had been so attentive, so giving and loving.

Justin's emotional unraveling hadn't changed Jolan's love for him.

And that filled Justin's heart with total happiness.

Jolan had walked with him into their bedroom, his kisses and caring touch sending Justin into a passionate euphoria.

He'd made love to his Jolan for hours, Jolan taking all he could give.

Justin had fallen asleep, his lover wrapped in his arms.

Here now it was morning, the two having showered together, Jolan's loving touches uniting their passion again.

Jolan had dried him off and helped him dress, the two spending an hour or so with Hayden, playing with him, cleaning him up and dressing him.

The small boy now sat in Randall's lap, the table surrounded by Justin's loving family, as well as Chris and Britney.

Jennie and Jonathan sat together, Justin's parents all around the table, the group talking amongst themselves.

Lance had phoned, he and Joey on their way over for breakfast, Jolan having invited them.

Justin was certain that Lance was just calling to check on them, his love in Justin and Jolan's souls.

Justin smiled again, the front doorbell going off, Justin rising, Jolan smiling at him.

"I'll get it, my love." Justin said, Jolan nodding, pulling off an empty frying pan, its previous contents now filling a platter on the counter.

Justin walked out of the room, Lynn walking up to Jolan at the counter, taking the coffee pot off the coffeemaker's heating pad.

"My son seems to be very happy this morning, Jolan. Your love is etched on his face."

Jolan smiled, looking at Lynn.

"My love will always make him happy, Mom."
Lynn smiled, walking back to the table, Randall and Lisa smiling at Jolan.

Jolan grabbed the last platter, setting it on the table, smiling at everyone.

Justin walked into the room, Lance and Joey beside him.

"Morning everyone!" Joey said, Lance stating the same greeting.

Everyone welcomed them, Joey sitting down at the table, looking at all the food, Justin sitting down beside his father, Hayden climbing into his lap.

Lance hugged Jolan, the two smiling at each other.

"A wonderful morning, Jolan."
"Yes, Lance. A morning of family happiness and joyful love."
Lance smiled, sitting down beside Joey, Joey kissing his cheek.

"Dessert before the food, Joe?" Jolan said, sitting down beside Justin.

Joey smiled, picking up the plate of waffles, his eyes on Lance.

"Lance made me very hungry this morning. I could eat a horse."

Jolan smiled, Lance softly blushing.

"Enough said." Jolan smiled, handing Joey a platter of bacon.

"Know the feeling, Joey. I'll match you plate for plate." Justin beamed, Jolan smiling at him.

"Looks like we've made our men ravenous pigs, Lancy."
Lance laughed, Joey and Justin both blushing now.

"That's how we like them, Jo! Contented and happy!" Lance countered, Jolan laughing.

"Don't I know it!"

Everyone smiled, the group diving into Jolan's delicious breakfast.

After breakfast Joey, Chris and Jonathan took the three boys out to the backyard, the group playing baseball.

Lance helped Jolan with the dishes, Jolan's parents going upstairs to pack up for their flights home later that day.

Justin and Britney had gone into the office to discuss her album and their song.

"So where are the other twosome of love?" Lance asked, Jolan handing him a plate, Lance drying.

"I called Joshy and Chace this morning, and I believe they're indisposed, if you know what I mean."
Lance chuckled, Jolan smiling at him.

"Chace was out of breath when he answered the phone, their love flowing through it."
"Ah, young love." Lance said, Jolan laughing.

"Um, Josh is older than you, Tiger."
Lance laughed, smiling at Jolan.

"Yes, but he's got a young tiger of his own."
Jolan smiled, looking at Lance.

"I'm younger than all of you, and I could barely keep up with my tiger last night, and this morning. He was indeed ravenous."
Lance smiled, leaning against the counter, drying another plate.

"I take it your love has totally calmed his soul?"

"It's more than calmed it, it's ignited its passion. He was so wonderful last night. It seems like a new beginning for us. Thank you for helping us reach that plateau of trust and honesty, Lance. Your love guided us to the real us."
Lance smiled, Jolan leaning over and kissing him on the lips tenderly.

Lance stepped back from the kiss, seeing so much love in Jolan's eyes for him.

"I love both of you, Jolan. Justin will always have a special place in my heart. And you're going to be right there beside him. I get the great fortune of standing back and watching your love grow."
Jolan smiled, looking into Lance's green eyes of love.

"Is there room in there for us, since it's so filled with Joey's love?"

Lance smiled widely, Jolan smiling back.

"Your man walked in with a face filled with happiness. You must have been as ravenous as my tiger."
Lance smiled, looking towards the kitchen window.

"We both were so unbelievable last night, Jo. His love. . .it seemed so desirous. Seeing the two of you showing your real souls last night made the two of us bare our real love to each other. It was so beautiful."
Jolan smiled, his thoughts on others.

"I think our real love spread everywhere. Chace seemed just as happy."
Lance laughed, Jolan smiling.

"And there was some rather passionate noise coming from Brit's room last night as well."
Lance grinned, Jolan chuckling.

"Love flows from heart to heart, from love's soul to a needful soul."
Lance smiled, Jolan's words sounding so profound.

"That's beautiful Jo."
Jolan stared at the kitchen faucets, Lance's hand going to his shoulder.

Jolan's eyes turned, looking into Lance's green.

"It just came to me, Lance." he said softly, Lance seeing a soft glow in Jolan's eyes.

"Everything okay, Jo?"
Jolan drained the sink, then wiped his hands on the dish towel in Lance's hands, staring at Lance.

"Remember those words, Lance. I think that's important." he said, looking at the table.

"Everything's done, Lance. Why don't you go out and watch your man? I've got a few things to do."
Lance nodded, staring at Jolan.

"Okay, Jo. If you're sure you're okay."
Jolan smiled at Lance, leaning forward and kissing his cheek.

"Well, I didn't wake up in your arms, but I can't complain."
Lance laughed, Jolan smiling at him.

"I'll be out in a bit, Lancy."
Lance nodded, walking over to--and then disappearing through--the patio door.

Jolan stood alone in the kitchen beside the sink, staring after Lance.

He trembled for a moment, then quietly walked out of the room.

Jolan walked upstairs, going into his bedroom, closing the door behind him.

He walked over to the bed, looking down at it.

He remembered Justin helping him change the sheets and make it up this morning, a soft smile coming to his lips.

Justin had been so flirtatious while they'd done that, his arm going around him constantly, kissing his neck, his hands touching him.

Jolan had sensed that Justin would have been just as happy to climb back into that bed with him.

Jolan smiled, sitting down on the bed, his eyes going to the book laying on the nightstand.

The smile lessened, Jolan leaning over and picking up the Tome.

He sat in silence, staring down at the book, his soft voice breaking the silence.

"Why do I feel a sense of foreboding?"

"Because the magic warns you."

Jolan's head raised, looking across the room, Erasmus standing in front of the door.

"Watching again, Era?"

The man smiled, Jolan's grey eyes taking in the changed form of the once elderly man.

He now looked like a man of fifty, his rugged handsomeness now showing in striking reality.

"It is my lot in life, Jolan."
Jolan stared at him, their grey eyes meeting, both seeing the fierce reality in each.

"Why did you come to my Justin, Era? I didn't want him involved in this."

The older man smiled at Jolan, walking across the room, his body a fluid motion of masculinity.

He sat down beside Jolan, his hand going to Jolan's shoulder.

"His love involves him in all of this, Jolan. He is a part of your unified, loving soul. I came to him to show him his path."

"The path to saving me?"
Era smiled, leaning over and kissing Jolan's cheek, Jolan feeling the warmth of his tenderness.

"He's already started that, Jolan. He's saved you from the pain of your past, his love healing you. As he must do going forward. He shall be beside you through all of it. You have joined him and your son to yourself, their love your strength. He is a remarkable man, as is your son a remarkable child."

"I love them, Era. They are my life."
Era looked towards the door, nodding.

"Yes, Jolan. They are your life."

Jolan stared at the man, seeing him lost in thought.

"What's going to happen, Era? I sense something's going to happen."
Era turned, looking into Jolan's concerned grey eyes.

"Soon the path reaches the fork."
"The fork?"
Era stared at him, Jolan seeing an intensity in his grey glowing eyes.

"The fork of the two paths of truth. One walks on to salvation, one walks on to redemption."

"Who's salvation? And who's redemption?"
Era's head lowered.

"That choice is up to Justin."

"Justin? Why is he the one to make such a choice?"

Era's head raised, his eyes looking into Jolan's worried eyes.

"Because he is the one who loves you."
Jolan stood up, staring down at the man.

"I will not let Justin make such a choice. If I am the one who needs saving, or needs to be redeemed then I shall do it on my own. I will not risk his interference. I will take on the monsters that threaten me by myself. I will protect the man I love and my son."
Era smiled up at Jolan, Jolan seeing only love and happiness in the man's silvery eyes.

"It is not he that is in danger, Jolan. It is you."

Jolan looked surprised, slowly sitting down beside Era, the man's hand going to his shoulder again.

"Your man loves you deeply. After this moment of fate, he shall show his worth."

Jolan's eyes met Era's, the man standing up now.

"Why do you  talk in riddles, Era? Why can't you just tell me the truth?"
The man smiled, his hands folding together in front of him, Jolan staring at the wolf tattoo on his ring finger, where the silver band Jolan now wore once rested over.

"The truth that you long to know hasn't been finalized, Jolan. The future changes as you walk the path. Decisions made by yourself--and others--change that truth. I cannot tell you what I do not know to be really true."

Jolan stood up, staring at him.

"But you know some things. What's going to happen soon, and the part my Justin plays in it."
"Yes, I know the choice you make soon and its effect on the decision made by Justin. I do not know the outcome of that decision. I shall visit you again once that has shown itself."
"What or who are you, Erasmus? You seem to only appear at moments of indecision. As if you're here to judge that moment, and guide its outcome."
The man stared at Jolan.

"I have walked the past, the present, and yes, the future. But the future changes by decisions in the past. Where I once walked, I cannot return. For that future shall be changed."
Jolan walked up to him, staring into his grey mesmerizing eyes.

"Why do you age in reverse?"
The man lowered his head, going to one knee.

"Your lineage of greatness cleanses my soul, Jolan Dragos; son of Joelius, grandson of Vilos, and great-grandson of King Dragos. You are the embodiment of their greatness, and you are yourself something more. They never imagined what your life would manifest itself into. Your path of love carries all of us forward. My life radiates with youthfulness because of your giving love. One day I shall show you my thanks."

The man disappeared before Jolan, Jolan sitting down again.

"More riddles, ancient one. I should have known."

Jolan set the book on the nightstand again, laying back on the bed, his legs dangling over the end.

He stared up at the ceiling, then closed his eyes, hearing the bedroom door open.

Someone climbed onto the bed, straddling Jolan's hips, two lips gently kissing his.

The lips parted from his, Jolan smiling.

"When did you get here, Chace?"

Jolan felt a hand go to his left nipple, softly pinching it.

Jolan laughed, opening his eyes, staring into Justin's blue pools of love.

"Looking for someone hotter, my love?" Justin said staring back at him, a wide smile on his face.

"Nah, they don't come any hotter than you, my beauty."
Justin smiled, leaning forward and kissing Jolan's nose.

"You're such a liar, Jo. Even I think Chace is dreamy! Josh is so damn lucky!"
Jolan laughed, flipping his man over, Jolan now on top of him.

"And what am I?"
Justin smiled, Jolan staring at him.

"You are the apple of my eye. Your beauty transcends all others."
Jolan smiled, his hand going under Justin's t-shirt, attaching to his left nipple.

"Speaking of liars."
Justin laughed, Jolan tweaking his nipple.

"So what's going on, my apple dumpling?"
Justin smiled, Jolan's body snuggling against him.

"Britney and I finished our discussions, everyone's wanting to go swimming. I came up to grab my swimsuit. Jennie's with Hayden, he's already in the pool."
Jolan smiled, his thoughts on his little aquatic angel.

"Our boy's half fish."
Justin smiled, Jolan's calling him their boy sending a rush of happiness into his soul.

Jolan smiled, seeing the look on his lover's face.

"That's what he is, Jumpy. He's our son. You and me together. He's in your heart as deeply as he's in mine. We'll love him together always."
Justin smiled, Jolan's hand going lower, rubbing Justin's abs, his lips kissing Justin's chin.

"One day I want to marry you, Justin. Then Hayden will truly be your son."
Justin teared up, Jolan's lips meeting his, their kiss filled with love and happiness.

"I want that too, Jolan. I want you to be mine in the sight of God and everyone."
Jolan smiled, kissing Justin's neck, Justin smiling up at him.

"Right now I have to get these jeans off my man, he needs to go swimming. I better check to make sure everything's packed tight in your trunks."

Jolan's hand went to Justin's jean-clothed center, rubbing it.

Justin moaned, Jolan's fingers going to the button clasp of Justin's jeans, releasing it, Jolan pulling down the zipper, a large bulge showing in the exposed briefs.

"Well this will never do! This large bulge will never stay contained in those trunks. Don't want my man showing off his junk to all those drooling pop stars down there."

Justin laughed, Jolan sitting up, his hands attaching to Justin's jeans.

In one quick movement Jolan pulled off Justin's jeans and briefs, Justin's large erection slapping against his clothed stomach.

Jolan smiled, looking down at the thick shaft before him, smiling.

"Nope, that'll never fit in those hot tight trunks you like to wear. I'll have to do something about that."

Justin stared up at his man, seeing the mirthful desirous gleam in Jolan's staring grey eyes.

Justin saw that those eyes were staring at his hardened cock, Justin's hardness stretching more.

"Yes, you better do something, we don't want Chace drooling."

Jolan laughed, Justin smiling up at him.

"I better get up, my love." Justin smiled, beginning to rise.

Jolan smiled, moving quickly.

Before Justin could react Jolan had inhaled his hardened shaft, taking it to the base.

Justin shuddered, falling back onto the bed, his ass rising up, Jolan devouring all of him.

Justin moaned, gasping out Jolan's name.

He hands went forward, sinking into Jolan's black curly hair.

Jolan was lost in the taste of his lover's center, its smooth steeliness driving him wild.

Jolan raised upward, then back downward, a rhythm beginning.

He felt the throbbing of Justin's heart in the pulsing organ filling his throat.

Jolan did this rhythm for a few minutes, then pulled the largeness out of his mouth, his tongue bathing its underside, fluid dripping out of its slit.

"Oh God, Jo! That. . .that was fantastic!"
Jolan moaned, continuing to lick the hardened shaft, licking up the precum oozing out of the slit.

His fingers were stroking the large sac below the shaft, Jolan's head lowering, taking both orbs into his mouth, Jolan thriving on their hairiness and warmth.

Justin's head flew back, his balls so electrified by Jolan's ministrations.

His whole body was trembling, Jolan returning to the hard shaft, his lips covering the mushroom head, taking in all the leaking fluid.

"Your juice is the elixir of my soul, Justin. I love its taste."
"Let me taste it, Jo."
Jolan smiled, moving upward, their mouths meeting, Justin's tongue going into Jolan's mouth.

Jolan moved, his body now on top of Justin, his hardness rubbing against Jolan's clothed stomach.

Their lips broke apart, Justin licking his lips.

"I don't taste half bad. Now I see why you love it so much." Justin smiled, Jolan grinning at him.

Jolan's head returned downward, taking Justin's shaft again into his mouth, Justin moaning and thrashing around again.

Jolan continued his former rhythm, sinking downward on Justin's pulsating shaft.

After a few minutes, Jolan sensed Justin's abandon, Jolan's mouth taking all of Justin's cock into it, his fingers going between Justin's legs, rubbing his center.

Justin trembled then gasped, Jolan's mouth filling with Justin's elixir of love.

Justin thrashed about the bed, his full length sinking deep within Jolan, Jolan taking all of Justin's rich liquid.

Justin moaned and gasped, lost in the euphoria of his desires.

He gradually came down from that high, Jolan pulling off Justin's member, licking it clean of all lost fluid.

Jolan moved, his body laying beside his Justin, their lips meeting again.

Justin tasted himself on Jolan's lips and tongue, lost in the deliciousness of himself.

They parted, Justin's head sinking into the crook of Jolan's neck.

Jolan's eyes looked downward, smiling.

"Well, the monster is starting to deflate. I was a success."
Justin laughed, kissing Jolan again.

"You are the success of my heart, my happiness and my desires. I love you."
Jolan smiled, Justin sitting up, walking to the dresser and pulling out two pairs of swim trunks, identical in color, a baby blue.

Jolan's eyes had been on Justin's bubbly, perfect butt as he'd walked to the dresser, his returning smile sinking into Jolan's heart.

"Now to deflate the other monster. You have to look presentable as well." Justin smiled, climbing back into the bed, his fingers going to Jolan's now large center.

Jolan smiled, Justin beginning to undo his belt.

Everyone splashed and laughed around the pool, their friendship and togetherness on full display.

Josh and Chace had arrived, Ally and Lonnie arriving with them.

Leo and his mother showed up a few minutes later, Auntie Gee's and his arms filled with food dishes, Justin smiling and guiding them to the kitchen.

Kelly and Briahna showed up half an hour later, Joey hugging both of them, the two hugged by everyone as well.

Jolan had stood back, seeing the glances between Kelly and Leo, Joey oblivious to their love.

"Briahna, Hayden was looking for you earlier. He misses his big sister." Jolan said, the young girl smiling, heading for the pool, the small boy waving to her from Josh's wet arms.

Kelly smiled, kissing Jolan's cheek.

"Thanks for saying that, Jo. Hayden was all she talked about after the party yesterday. She loves your little boy."
Jolan smiled, nodding.

"My boy's going to be wrapped in the love of so many."
Everyone smiled, Joey's arm going around his Lance.

"So what's new, Kelly? How's your life going?" Lance asked, Joey smiling at her, Lance looking at Jolan.

Jolan saw the look on Lance's face, as well as Leo's sideways glance, the young man sighing.

"Sit down, Joey. I think this needs to be in the open."
Kelly looked towards Leo, the young man seated at the patio table beside his mother, Kelly's eyes going to Jolan.

Joey was looking at his wife, Lance guiding him to a chair, sitting down beside him.

"Sit down beside Joey, Kelly. I think it's time you were honest with him, and with yourself."
Joey stared at her, and then looked at Jolan.

"What do you mean, Jo?"

Jolan looked over towards the pool, seeing Justin and Chace relaxing in lounge chairs.

"Jus, my love. Can you come over here, please?" Jolan shouted, Justin looking towards him, both men getting out of their chairs.
Justin walked over to Jolan, his man wrapping his arm around him.

The two stood at the patio table, smiling around at their friends.

"My dearest friends gave Justin and myself a wonderful gift last night. They gave us the gift of their caring friendship. They saw in Jus--and myself--our need to be real with each other. To be truthful and honest. We now have a special gift, the gift of true realness. I know and love the real Justin, and he loves the real me."
Everyone smiled, Justin kissing Jolan's lips.

Jolan's eyes went around, smiling at Joey and Kelly.

"All of our friends last night opened their hearts to their soulmates, their real love now shining as well. All save two lost individuals. Two individuals of caring heart and giving soul. Their love is so giving, yet so concerned of other loves. I think it's time that real  love was exposed for its beauty and realness. And I think others should rejoice in their happiness. I think it's time Leo."

Leo stood up, slowly walking up to his friend, Jolan smiling at him.

"Tell the truth and life will surround you as it must."

Leo smiled, nervously looking at Joey, his eyes going to Kelly, the young man instantly calming.

"In the past few weeks I've fallen hopelessly in love with someone wonderful. Someone who's captured my heart and soul. I, as Jolan talked of, have sensed also the realness of her soul. She seems so real to me, so genuine in her love for me. I love her so deeply. And I think it's time you realized the truth, Joey."
Joey looked surprised, staring at the young man, Kelly getting up from her seat, walking up to Leo, his arm going around her.

Kelly looked into his blue eyes, Leo smiling at her.

"Kelly and I have fallen in love. We love each other very much." he said, everyone smiling at the two, Auntie Gee's face covered in tears, the large woman getting up and rushing up to her son.

"Oh, my boy! I'm so happy! My baby's finally settling down!!"
Everyone laughed, Leo blushing as Auntie Gee hugged Kelly.

"Welcome to the family, child! You and your angel!" she cried, Jolan smiling at her joyous face.

Leo smiled at his mother, watching her hug Kelly tightly, Kelly smiling at him.

The two women parted, Kelly again wrapped in Leo's arms.

Auntie Gee went up to Jolan, hugging him tightly.

"This has to be your work, our giving angel! Your love brought theirs together!"

The two looked at Jolan, the young man blushing as Auntie Gee released him.

"My love is mine. Your love is its own."
The two smiled,  then looking at Joey.

"I hope you're okay with this, Joey? I love her deeply. She'll have a life of happiness and love." Leo said, tentatively looking at the man, still seated.

Kelly was looking at her husband as well.

"I love him, Joe. He completes me. I'm totally in love with him."
Joey stared at his wife, Lance quietly staring at Joey.

Joey stood up, looking at the two.

He continued to stare at them, a single tear falling down his cheek.

"I guess it's all worked out for the best then." he softly said, Lance looking up at him.

Kelly began to move forward, Joey backing up.

"Excuse me, everyone." he said, turning and walking down the patio steps, walking across the lawn.

Kelly stared after him, Leo's arm going around her again.

"It's just a shock to him, Kelly. He just needs some time." Justin said, Jolan looking at his lover.

"The first step to acceptance is putting your own foot forward."

Justin's eyes met Jolan's, Justin seeing so much love in his grey eyes.

"Excuse me, everyone. I need to talk to my friend." Jolan said, walking down the steps, heading across the lawn towards the gazebo.

Everyone watched him go, Lance looking at Kelly.

"He loves both of us, Kelly. I think Jolan's going to make him see our happiness."
Kelly nodded, Leo's eyes going to his receding friend.

Jolan walked into the gazebo, his eyes going to Joey seated on a bench, his head turned away.

"I'm alright, Lance. I just need some time to think."
"There's not much to think on, Joe."
Joey's head turned, staring at Jolan.

"Oh sorry, Jo. I thought for sure it would be my loving Lance."

"I'm sorry I don't match up."
Joey's head turned back, staring away from Jolan.

"I'd rather be alone right now, Jolan."

Jolan moved, but not towards the exit.

He walked over to Joey, walking past him and sitting down on another bench, Jolan now facing him.

"You'll never be alone, Joey. You have three people who love you deeply. A fourth wants to join that trio."
Joey's eyes met Jolan's, Jolan seeing the confusion emblazoned in his eyes.

"Do you remember the day you and I met, Joey?"

Joey nodded, his eyes looking downward.

"You hit me, mistaking me for someone I wasn't. And then you stood up for me when my terrified Justin denied our love."
Joey remained silent, looking now at Jolan again.

"I never thanked you for that Joey. For that heart of immense love you carry within you."
"I always regretted hitting you, Jo. My anger takes over me."
"Yes, Joe. It sometimes does. But usually for one reason only. For the protective love that emanates from your heart. You hit me that day because you believed in your heart you were protecting Justin. Your protective love showed in its forceful way. I felt that forceful love just a moment ago. And I know you walked away from them before you released it again."
Joey's head lowered, Jolan looking at him.

"I love Lance with all my heart, Jo! Why should I have these protective feelings for Kelly now, after he's come into my life?"
Jolan smiled, his silvery eyes looking at Joey.

"Because of that large giving heart of yours, Joey. That day we met you gave me the courage to face my Justin and show him what he did was wrong. From that moment his love forever etched into my heart. Today I want to thank you for that."
Joey's eyes were tearing, Jolan moving and sitting down beside him.

"You still love Kelly, Joe. Not in the sense of man and wife, but more in the sense of a man's love for a dear friend. She's become that to you, Joe."

Joey nodded, Jolan's arm going around him.

"You'll always have a place in your heart for her, Joe. And you'll always be protective of your daughter's love. But you need to know that your daughter's heart is large. You are her father, that's a singular love. A unique bond of love she'll always carry. Leo is one of my best friends. His heart is giving, loving and generous. Your Kelly and your daughter will feel that giving love always. You need to be happy for them, Joe. Kelly and Leo are perfect for each other. I see their love so easily. It's almost as beautiful as Lance's and your love."
Joey's head raised, Jolan leaning forward and kissing him on the lips.

Joey felt so much love in that kiss, so much pure giving love.
Jolan broke the kiss, smiling at him.

"Our love is beautiful, Joey."
The two men turned, Lance standing in the doorway, Kelly and Leo behind him.

Joey stood up, walking over to his lover, Jolan standing and watching the two.

Lance pulled Joey into his arms, Lance smiling at him.

"Jo is right, Joe. I see their love so easily as well. And there's no jealousy in my heart in regards to your love for Kelly. I know what she means to you, what her love and friendship means to you. But she needs the same happiness that you and I have, my Joey bear."
Joey smiled at Lance, that love name making his heart beat faster.

His eyes turned to Kelly and Leo, both looking at him with love and friendship.

"I'm sorry if my walking away surprised you. I just needed a moment to get my thoughts together. They were clouded a bit until a ray of love broke through the cloudiness." Joey said, his head turning back to Jolan, then returning to them.

"You've been a big part of my life, Kelly. We shared so much happiness and love together. We united and brought our angel of love into this beautiful world. For a brief moment there I thought that maybe Leo would steer my daughter's love away from me, but Jolan set me right in that regard. I know he'll love her as much as I do. I've known him for only a short time but I see that the man is a giving soul. I love you Kelly, I want you to be as happy as I am. As happy as my Lance makes me feel. If you believe that Leo's the one to give you that happiness, then I give you my blessing, my love and my friendship."
Kelly teared up, walking up to her husband, pulling him into her arms.

"I am happy, Joey. As happy as you are!"
Joey smiled, hugging her tightly.

His eyes went to Leo, the young man smiling at him.

Joey and Kelly broke their embrace, Joey walking up to the young man.

"I love Kelly and Briahna, Leo. They are a big part of my life. I'll always love them. You're now a part of that family. That makes you a part of my life as well. I hope you and I will become good friends. We have so much love to give these two."

Leo smiled, extending his hand, Joey taking it.

"I welcome your friendship and trust, Joey. I'll try to always make them happy."
Joey smiled, pulling the man into a hug.

"Welcome to the family, Leo." he said, Leo smiling at Kelly.

"Thanks, Joey. And you've gained a steady influx of food! My mom's the best cook, bar none!"
Joey laughed, as did everyone else, Jolan walking up to them.

"Then let's go try her food out! She's brought plenty!"
Everyone laughed, heading back towards the house, Joey smiling at Jolan.

"Thanks, friend."

Jolan smiled back, his eyes going to Joey's smiling face.

"Love returned, Joe. Love returned."
The two smiled, walking back to the patio, Lance's arm around his Joe.

Auntie Gee smiled, taking in the praise of all those surrounding her, her new extended family.

Briahna sat beside her, the older woman spooning more potato salad onto her plate.

"There you go, sweetie.  Good food for a growing girl!"
The young girl smiled up at; her, Kelly smiling at the two across the table from her--Leo and Joey.

"See, I told you Joe. Mom's going to make all of us fat."

Auntie Gee looked at her son, shaking her head.

"I'm making you happy. You'll be the ones in charge of working off the pounds."
Jolan laughed, seated at the other table, Justin snuggled beside him, Hayden in his lap, the small boy chewing on a hotdog.

"I'm sure they can find some way of shedding those excess pounds." he smiled, Joey and Lance smiling at him.

Auntie Gee laughed, everyone chuckling.

"Lord, this is such a beautiful home, Jolan." Auntie Gee said, Jolan smiling at her.

"Yes, my Justin had excellent taste." he said, Justin smiling at him, kissing his cheek.

"I told you before my love, change whatever you like. It's our home now, I want it to reflect our combined tastes."
Jolan smiled, eating from his plate, looking around.

"Nothing needs changing, my love. Your tastes reflect mine."
Justin smiled, Hayden grinning up at him.

"Me wants bunkie beds for me's and my fwiends!"

Jolan laughed, Justin chuckling.

"Awesome idea, little man!" Justin grinned, Hayden clapping his hands.

"How about a bunk house? There's lots of room upstairs to join Hayden's room with the one beside it, Jo."

Jolan's eyes widened, Justin smiling at him.

"You'd make our son a bunkhouse?"
Justin smiled, looking down at Hayden.

"My boy's happiness is our happiness."

Jolan shook his head, Randall chuckling beside him.

"Word of warning, Jo. Justin gets some crazy ideas. He's always had his head in the clouds."
Justin blushed, Jolan smiling and kissing his cheek.

"From fantasy comes reality. One's loving soul breeds loving ideas."
Justin smiled, feeling Jolan's support and love.

"We'll talk later, Jus. You're correct. Our boy being happy makes us happy."
Justin smiled, Lance smiling at both of them.

"You two are so in synch with each other. It's as if you're two parts of the same mind."
"We have a bond of total love in our souls, Lancy. Our love flows from one soul."
Josh and Chace smiled, Jolan smiling around the patio.

"The meal was fantastic, Auntie Gee and Chace. Good food, good barbecue and fantastic company."
Everyone smiled, Chace and Auntie Gee smiling at everyone.

Chace had manned the barbecue, creating his own recipe of steak-ka-bobs and hot dogs.

Auntie Gee had provided the salads, bean dishes and other culinary dishes.

"But what of dessert?" Joey said, finishing the fourth kabob off his plate.

"Insatiable!" Josh smiled, Lance smiling at him.

"He hungers in all things. Why do you think I'm so happy?"
Everyone laughed, Joey grinning, Lance kissing his cheek.

"How about ice cream cake, everyone?" Joey said, the kids perking up.

"There's none here, Joe." Justin said, Jolan smiling at him.

"I was offering to go get some, Justin. I can pop down to the B&R and pick up a few."

"No, Joe. You stay here with your family. I can go get it." Jolan said, smiling at Joey.
"Fantastic idea, love. Need some company?" Justin said, smiling at him.
Jolan smiled, kissing his lover's cheek, looking at his plate.

"You've been feeding Hayden, your meal's half done. You stay put and entertain our friends. I'll just be gone for a bit."
"I can drive you, Jo." Lonnie said, smiling at him, Ally's arm around him.

"Nah, you relax Lon. I'll just grab Joey's keys. Your Rover's the first one in line, Joe. Mind if I take it for a spin?"
Joey smiled, pulling his keys out of his pocket, tossing them to Jolan.

"Enjoy, Jo! But treat my baby right. My baby's a delicate little thing."
Jolan laughed, smiling at Lance.

"Ooh, thanks Joe. But he looks pretty strong to me."
Lance laughed, Joey blushing.

Jolan laughed, standing up and leaning down, his man and son receiving tender kisses.

"Back in a bit, my sweets. . .with some sweets!"
Everyone chuckled.

"Careful of the press, Jo. They're still pretty forceful out there. They surrounded us coming in." Josh said, Jolan smiling at him.

Jolan's eyes went to Lance.

"Keep the love flowing everyone. I want to swim back through it."

Everyone smiled, Lance staring at Jolan, a quiet look on his face.

Jolan smiled, walking into the house.

Jolan sighed, his mind on other things.

Leaving the house had been an ordeal, Joey's Rover surrounded by cameras, mikes and shouting reporters.

Jolan had remained silent, gradually pulling away from the surrounding mob.

He smiled, feeling the air flow through his black curls, the Rover's window down.

He liked Joey's wheels, the SUV handling very nicely on the road.

He smiled, his eyes focusing on the GPS.

He'd put in the address of the nearest Baskin and Robbins, smiling as he saw the route come up.

His mind focused on all that he'd witnessed today: Era's sudden appearance, Justin's moments of love, and the dawning of a new couple in love.

He smiled, realizing that all those people back there were becoming to mean a lot to him.

He had friends now, people he could count on.

And he had his Justin and Hay.

Jolan's mind went over something, his thoughts zeroing in on one moment of Era's meeting.

Jolan pulled over, his hands staying on the steering wheel.

"Decisions and consequences. I've played myself onto his path." he softly said, his eyes looking around him.

He sat in silence, his mind going over a sudden realization.

"I love you, Justin. I hope you love me just as much." Jolan said, wiping a tear from his eye.

He sighed, pulling out again into traffic, scanning the GPS.

A short fifteen minutes later, he pulled into the parking lot of the ice cream store.

Jolan looked around, then unfastened his seatbelt, climbing out of the SUV.

He hit the car alarm, the vehicle beeping.

He walked across the parking lot, entering the store.

Behind him on the ground by the SUV he failed to see a small black spot, black dripping liquid beginning to widen it.

Justin smiled from his seat, Hayden and Sean in front of him, the two playing with Britney in the sandbox.

"Our kids are so in tune with each other, Justy." Britney smiled, Justin smiling at her.

"They have fun together, the comradery of boyhood pals." he said, smiling.

Chris smiled beside him, his eyes meeting Britney's.

"They'll grow up together, Jus. Friends for life." he said, Justin smiling at his friend.

He looked around, all his friends and family surrounding him.

Auntie Gee was in the kitchen with Leo and Kelly, the three offering to do the dishes, Justin seeing their adamant looks, he smiling and giving in.

"Yes, Chris. Friends for life. Just as we all are."
His friends all smiled, Justin looking at Hayden, a smile of deep happiness crossing his handsome face.

"You have a smile of great happiness on your face, son." Randall said, smiling at his son.

"My Jo makes me smile, Dad. I've never been so happy."
Randall smiled, his ex-wife beside him smiling as well, both looking at their son.

"Yesterday his love doubled for me, mine for him doubling as well. I love him so much. And I've decided there's only one way to show him that complete love."
His parents stared at him, as well as his friends, Justin's eyes going around the patio.

"I love him completely, everyone. His love and Hay's fill my soul."
Lance smiled, hearing the love and happiness in his friend's voice.

"We all know that, Justin. We see it on your face." Lance said, Justin smiling at him.

"I'm going to ask him to marry me, Lance. I want to spend the rest of my life as his real partner of love."

Justin's mother sobbed, Paul's arm going around her.

Justin friends were on the move, Justin smiling as he stood up, embraced by all of them.

"That's so awesome, Jus!" Josh said, hugging his friend, Lance and Joey both in tears of happiness.

Chris and Britney were arm in arm, the three little ones staring up at everyone from the sandbox, a large smile on Hayden's face.

"That's so wonderful, Justy!" Britney said, tears filling her eyes as well.

Justin smiled at her, his four parents now surrounding him.

"We love him, Justin. His love is welcomed by all of us." Randall said, Justin sporting his own tears at his father's words.
"I told you he'd enter your heart, Dad." Jonathan said, his father smiling at his younger son.

"He has, Jon. His love surrounds me."
Jennie smiled, her arms going around Justin, Justin smiling at her.

"I'm finally going to get another brother for real."
Justin smiled, Jonathan smiling as well.

"When are you going to ask him? And where?"
Justin smiled at Chace's questions, the group smiling at him.

"Well, I have an idea. I'd like your input, guys. I want it to be the greatest moment of his life, a moment he'll remember always."
"Your doing it guarantees that remembrance, Justin." Lance said, Justin smiling at his friend.

"Here's what I was thinking of doing."
Everyone smiled, returning to their seats, Justin beginning to speak, a look of total happiness on his face.

Jolan pulled out of the ice cream store's parking lot, three large ice cream cakes on the seat beside him.

His eyes looked around, waiting to merge into traffic, a yellow school bus passing in front of him.

Jolan smiled, seeing it full of laughing waving children.

Being a Sunday he assumed it was a chartered bus, the words on the bus' side verifying that.

St. Jude's Church Choir was written there.

Jolan smiled, waving back at the happy children.

Behind the bus a large tow truck followed, the driver slowing, waving his hand towards Jolan, Jolan pulling out onto the street in front of it.

Jolan followed the bus, smiling at a few kids looking out through the back doors.

The tow truck driver behind him pulled out to pass Jolan, the two on a four lane street.

The truck went by, the driver turning his head towards Jolan, Jolan turning and meeting his gaze.

Jolan saw a look of total surprise on the man's face, then a nervous realization covered it.

The man floored his truck, zooming forward, passing the school bus as well.

Jolan thought the man shouldn't be driving that fast, shrugging his shoulders.

His mind thought on the man, the man unknown to him.

He kept focusing on the surprised look on the man's face.

It was almost as if he was surprised to see Jolan driving.

Jolan drove forward, cresting a high hill, the bus still in front of him.

Both vehicles crested the hill, driving down the other side, a steep downward decline before them.

Jolan motioned his foot to the brake, gently pressing downward.

He heard a soft grinding sound, then a thud.

His vehicle began to pick up speed, Jolan pumping the brakes again.

His speed gained, Jolan realizing he had no brakes, his eyes seeing the school bus closing in on him, the driver having applied the brakes during his descent.

His mind was focusing on the bus, knowing that if he didn't do something, he'd plow into its back end.

Within the split second it took him to turn the wheel, his vehicle swerved, flying past the bus, just missing its left back bumper, Jolan holding onto the wheel with both hands, trying to remain in control.

At the bottom of the hill was a sharp curve, Jolan knowing in his heart that he wouldn't be able to navigate it, the vehicle beginning to slide to the right, Jolan feeling the steering wheel lock.

He now knew in his heart that fate had suddenly played its hand.

Jolan felt the vehicle hit the shoulder, its front wheels leaving the street.

Suddenly in front of him were guardrails, the Rover plowing through them, Jolan beginning to feel the vehicle flip over as he pulled the steering wheel to the left.

The vehicle flipped, rolling several times, careening down into a deep gulley.

Jolan's head slammed into the steering wheel, the air bag deploying, his head thrown sideways, smashing into the window, Jolan feeling the darkness taking him.

His last thought before he plunged into the void was of his Justin.
