Date: Sun, 07 May 2000 00:08:35 GMT From: Jason Subject: Justin and Jason-20 Justin and Jason-20 This is fiction and not meant to mean anything about anyone involved, If you are too young or offend please get lost. Troy and I were briefed about what was going on out in Arizona. They argued about whether or not to give me a gun to defend myself, just in case. I wasn't aloud to carry any gun or weapon of any kind. So after that, we were told to be at the airport early in the morning to leave. Troy and I were instructed to go home and rest so the two of us started out to his truck and to his apartment. "So I'm gonna being driving a truck and get hijacked without any type of self defense." I asked. "Pretty much. Sucks, don't it." He replied. "You're not kidding." I said. We got to his apartment. It was a really nice place. He gave a blanket and me some pillows and pointed towards the couch. "There you go," was his only remark. "Don't go to any trouble," I said sarcastically. "I never do." He said closing the door to his bedroom. I lay down on the couch and tried to sleep. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't. I kept thinking about Justin and why he stopped coming to see me and had stopped writing. I was tempted to call him, but I didn't. I did finally did get to sleep. I was pushed off the couch about five the next morning. "Ooh, Troy I wasn't sure you could kick my ass, I'd beat the hell out of you for doing that." I said standing up. "Yeah, whatever. Get a shower and get around, we've got to go." He said tossing me some clothes. "Hey, these are my clothes," I said looking at them. "I know, you wouldn't fit any of mine." He said pouring some coffee. I got in the shower and around and had some quick breakfast and we were off. The whole way to the airport I thought about what was going to happen to me and if I'd ever see Justin again. Then I thought about what would happen if I came through this alive and did get to see Justin. "Don't worry about Jas, you'll be fine." He said driving into the extended parking area. We got out and walked to the ticket counter and Troy asked for tickets. The tickets were under a couple of names I had never heard before. He got to the gate and Troy was handed something for a person passing by. "What the hell was all that about?" I asked. "Don't worry," was his only reply. "Well do it better than that. I think everybody saw that." I said as we boarded the plane. "Shut up and find your seat." He said. "Troy, relax. Now tell me what the fake names are for." I asked. "They are supposed to be for agent protection. Personally, I think they are more trouble than they are worth. Ya know I once spent and hour at the ticket counter trying to remember what name my ticket was under." He said smiling. I started to laugh and the plane took off. We spent the entire flight talking about what I had been up too, which didn't take to long, and talking about what troy was doing. Since he arrested me he was promoted with a pay raise. He started to see a girl that he liked a lot. Before we knew what was going on, the plane landed and we were getting off. There were about five suited guys waiting for us. We were introduced and headed for the car. The car looked like a piece of shit, but it ran like you wouldn't believe. This car was all decked out and ready to roll. We drove out to an old farmhouse and walked inside. I was escorted to the barn. I opened the door and there was a Peterbuilt that looked brand new. This baby was awesome. The second I saw, I fell in love with it. "Oh baby," I said looking at the astonishing piece of machinery. "I thought you would feel like that," Troy said from behind. He handed me the keys and pointed to the cab. "Climb in and get used to it." He didn't have to tell me twice. Before he was finished talking, I was starting it up. This thing ran better than the car. I drove it out of the barn and around the driveway. I backed it back into the barn and climbed out. "Well?" Troy asked. "I know what I'm getting for Christmas," I said and smiled. "Keep dreaming," he said. "The guys have been spreading a rumor that you are coming through with that truck stuffed full of TV's and Computer's and all that stuff. It shouldn't take too long." "When do we start?" I asked. "In an hour." He said walking away and into the house. The time came and I was sent out to see if the hijackers would take the bait. Nothing happened the first night or the second. For two weeks, nothing, not a thing. Then, one day, I was driving down the same stretch of road and I noticed a truck behind me. At first I didn't think anything about it. I drove for another couple miles and he was still behind me. He kept getting closer and closer. I shift into a higher gear and started to speed up. I didn't want him to get suspicious, so I speed up slowly, like there is any other way for a truck to speed up. Not only did he keep with me, but got even closer. I figured that this had to be the guy. Everyone else was passing me, but he stayed right behind me. I saw a detour for trucks only. I figured this was a trap, so I called Troy with my cell phone. Just as I hung up I heard some one over the CB. "Hey, you. The semi, Can you hear me?" A Female voice asked. "Are you referring to me madam." I asked sounding as elegant as I could. "I'm in the tuck behind you. I need you help. My truck in not sounding right. Something smells really bad." She said. At this point I really didn't know what to do. I hadn't pulled off the detour like the sign said to. "Sure, pull over and let's see what's going on." I said. We pulled over and I got out of my truck as she climbed out of hers. The first thing she did was pointing a gun at me. It was a revolver. "Honey if you gonna shoot me with that, you'd better cock it. Pull that hammer all the way back, until it stays." "I know how to work it!" She screamed. "What caliber is that?" I asked. "What's it to you," she replied. "You just shut up" "Listen sugarbabe, that is way too much gun for you, why don't you just put it down." I said. "I'm warning you, if you don't shut up, I gonna shoot you." She yelled. "Go ahead fire away," I remark. You talk about put your foot in it. She shoots right at me feet. At first I was about to pack my shorts, but I didn't let it show. " Ok, you've proved you can hit the ground. Good job." I was really pressing my luck, and I knew. The main thing I was trying to do was buy time for Troy to get here. "How does a girl like you hijack a truck?" I asked. "I don't do it alone," she yelled. "Who helps you, your imaginary friends?" I asked. Then right after I said that, the CB in her truck started up. "Hey, prettygril, we've got agents. Come back." A voice said. "Is that right, you're an agent. Agent of what?" she demanded. "I personally ain't. I was roped into this. I was dong hard time in jail for gunrunning. My choice was to stay in jail for the remainder of my time, or help by driving this truck. I ask you, what would you pick?" I asked. "If you want the absolute truth, I couldn't care less what happens to this truck or those agents." "Really, for give me if I don't believe you," she remarked. "That's your choice," I said looking at her. We looked into each other's eyes and starred at each other. She took a step towards me and I figured the best thing to do was to play along. So I took a step towards her. Finally we were right up against each other and she planted a kiss right on me lips. When we broke I looked at her. "I have to tell you something, I lied." I said as I grabbed the gun from her. The first thing did was shoot a tire on her truck. Then I pointed it at her. "Where are my friends?" "I ain't gonna tell you, you'll just have to kill me." She said. "Don't screw with me, do you want me to shoot you, is that it?" I asked pointing the gun at her. "It empty now," she said smiling. I popped out the cylinder and it was empty, except for two spent cartridges. "We'll looks like the old fashion way," I said smiling. I walked up to her and grabbed her arm. "Where are my friends?" "Piss off cop." She said. "Wrong, I am not a cop." I said slapping her across the face. "You just hit a lady," she said she hit the ground. "No, I hit a bitch. If you want more, then keep shut. I am actually enjoying this." I said walking towards her. After a few more rounds of her playing the loyal partner she was just about done. I picked here up and leaned her up against her Chevy truck and looked into her watered eyes. She looked at me and opened her mouth. "Go down the detour road and you'll see a big huge barn, there right their." Said just before passing out. I set her in passenger side of my truck tied up and looked around her truck to see if there was anything I could use. I found a box of ammo for the revolver, but that was it. "Great, I got to bail Troy out with a .357." I mumbled to myself. I unhooked the trailer from the truck and climbed up in. I turned the truck around and headed for the detour. I found the road and followed it until I came up on a farmhouse with a gigantic barn around back. I stopped the truck and looked around. I notice a shit load of sentries. "I way too young for this shit," I said looking at the barn. I think I was noticed because I had a ford truck driving out towards me. "Great!" I started to move the truck and they started shooting. I gunned it to get it moving faster. This was a classic road rage. The only difference was we were in a field. I would go straight at them and shot at the truck, they would be shooting at me. Finally, they hit the front tire and the truck started to go out of control. I headed it for the barn. I ran smack into the side of the barn and jumped out the passenger side door. I wasn't noticed because everybody was going for the driver side door. I ducked around the barn and through the back door. The barn was full of all sorts for goodies. TV's VCR's you name it. It also had Troy and his associates tied up in the corner. I ran over and untied them as fast as I could. The seven of us started t look around the any weapons. We all hide in different parts of the barn and waited for someone to go by. Troy and I were in the same spot. One guy went by with an automatic weapon and we came up behind him and knocked him out and took his weapon. Before to long another guy came by. Now that we have some sort of defense, we started our assault. I noticed all of Troy buddies had weapons by this time and all of us started to look out the door. That's when the trough a jar full of gas and a lighted rag into the barn. Everything immediately caught fire. We were all in a huddle in corner, trying desperately to breathe when I noticed something in the corner. It looked like a vehicle of some sort. I told Troy and he motioned to head for the object. We all headed for it and uncovered it. It turned out to be an F-350 Diesel they had covered with a tarp. The keys weren't in it, so I had to hot-wire it (little trick I picked up in prison). Everybody climbed into the supercab, four-door truck and I got us the hell out of there. We came flying right through the back of the barn and came out shooting. Troy was in the passenger seat, I was driving, and we had two agents in the back seat and the other three in the truck bed. Every one of them started shooting. Just about two minutes of the driving around shooting the bad guy type of thing reinforcements came in full force. There must have been six state police cars, two swat vans and two plain navy blue cars. I drove straight for them and stopped in front of them. I thought for a second they were gonna start shooting at us. They rounded up all the crooks and took them away. Now that my work was done, Troy's boss instructed him to take me to the airport and send me on my way. We climbed into one of the cars and headed toward the airport. We got to the airport and Troy bought a ticket with an agency credit card. We walked to the gate my flight was at and I was about to board when I turned around to look at Troy. I looked at Troy and he looked at me. "Jas, go home." Troy said smiling at me. I extended my hand and shook his. Our handshake turned to a hug. "When will you come by the house?" I asked. "Whenever I am in the area," he said. "Promise?" I said. "I promise," he said and I left him there as I walk on board and found my seat. I couldn't believe it, was finally gonna see Justin again.
