Her dark eyes and chestnut brown hair made her look a lot like the girl in that Tomb Raider game. She smiled to herself in the mirror and began applying some lip- gloss. Lightly licking her lips, she walked out of the airport restroom and over to the terminal counter. "Hello Miss Thompson." The girl at the desk said after taking the information from her. Linq nodded at the young woman, and glanced at her watch. It was early morning, and soon, her flight would be leaving. She had time to grab a quick snack before leaving. "Your seat will be seat 'a' in row nine. Enjoy your flight and have a great time in Los Angeles." She smiled. Linq gave a weak smile and took her boarding pass from the girl before walking to the Starbucks at the end of the terminal. A soft yellow light shined into the window of Kevin's bunk. The passing desert seemed to fly by as Chris and Kevin made out in the bus. They were on their way to Los Angeles from their show in Phoenix, and it had been about a week and a half since the first show. Since then, Brian had tried his best to make up with Holly, but she was being her usual stubborn self. Only Chris knew about her little crush on Justin, and only he knew about Justin's little secret. It was beginning to feel like some afternoon soap opera melodrama with Chris in the middle. All the thoughts seemed to evaporate as Kevin's tongue ventured into his mouth, rubbing up against his own. Chris' hands ran to Kevin's chest, the muscles showing through the tight material of his thin wife-beater. The rumbling of the bus wheels covered their soft groans as they continued their kiss. "Do you think they're awake yet?" Justin whispered to Christina. "I don't know..." Christina said. She held her ear closer to the curtain, but the unusually bumpy road stifled most of the noise. "Why don't you just open the thing?" Justin said, annoyed. "That's rude and you know it." Christina snapped. "Sleeping in late when there's a schedule meeting isn't exactly polite." Justin whined. Christina rolled her eyes, "They've been through a lot, leave them alone already." She grabbed his arm and dragged him away from the bunks. "Let's go see what the others are doing." She suggested. The two of them walked away from the bunk area and into one of the sitting areas. Justin saw J.C. sitting and talking on his cell phone. As the he and Christina walked into the room, he hung up the phone. "Hey guys." J.C. said, getting up. "Umm, J.C., could I talk to you for a sec?" Justin asked. "Sure, you know you can talk to me anytime." J.C. smiled. "Thanks, can we go somewhere else?" Justin said. "Christina, you don't mind?" J.C. said, glancing over his shoulder. "No, I don't. I'll be just like way back when. When you two would go off and I was left hanging with that Britney. I don't know how I ever got along with her." Christina said matter-of-factly. "This isn't a time to bring up the past, Chrissy. Talk to you later." Justin said as he pushed J.C. out of the door. Christina sighed, and plopped down on the sofa. She grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. Flipping through the channels, she decided that nothing good was on, she started to rummage around the room. Nick was a total pig when it came to keeping the bus clean, and this particular room was the one with the video games, so it was a total mess. Throwing some of the miscellaneous clothing onto a chair, she accidentally stepped one of his controllers. "Damn. I gonna get him for this." She growled. She grabbed some of her scheduling things, and sat down. She flipped through the pages of the upcoming week. 'Thank god we have a week off in LA.' She thought. She had a photo shoot coming up, and so did the other guys. 'Chris has got some work ahead of him...' She thought as she shook her head. Video shoot ahead too, the next few days were going to be hectic. "This has to be some sort of sick joke, Just. You can't be serious." J.C. said, not believing what Justin had just told them. They were in the other rec. room, and most of the other guys were getting some much needed rest in their bunks. "What can't you get? I'm gay." Justin said, frustrated with J.C.'s words. "I can get that you're gay, I have no problem with that." J.C. said as he was getting up. Justin pulled him back down, and J.C. shook his hand off. "I can't support what you're going to do. I don't agree with it, and if anyone does, I don't know why they would." "You don't understand. I love Kevin." Justin explained. "I do understand. You want to break up Kevin and Chris." J.C. sighed. "I just don't agree with it, and if you're asking me to help you, don't give it a second thought, because I'm not going to." "I thought you were my friend, Josh. You're supposed to support me no matter what." Justin defended. "That's lame and you know it. I'm Kev's friend too, and not to mention that I'm Chris' friend." "I know that, but I thought that our friendship was more." "What you're asking me to do is beyond friendship, Justin. You have to grow up. You're not going to get everything you want. Kevin and Chris have something, and it makes them happy, can't you live with that? I wish we could all be as lucky as they are. Now just forget about it, and start getting ready, we're almost there." J.C. left with a look of disgust on his face and Justin just sat there, wishing that he'd never told J.C. anything to begin with. "You're not going to tell them, are you?" Justin asked, panicked. "No, I trust that you will, though." J.C. said, finally leaving the room. Chris and Kevin finally got out of their bunk, they'd been making out for the last forty-five minutes or so. The two of them walked into the larger rec. room that Christina was in. She was still looking over some things, but at the same time, she was looking through a magazine. "Hey Christina." Chris said as he and Kevin walked into the room. Kevin pulled Chris onto his lap and the two of them sat down with Christina. They were still in their flannel pajama bottoms, and Chris was wearing a somewhat tight white t-shirt. Kevin, on the other hand, was in his usual wife-beater. "Umm Kev, sweetie, you got something right there." Christina said, gesturing towards her shoulder and neck area. Chris looked over at Kevin, and a smile spread across his face as he saw what Christina was talking about. "Kevin, I think you should put on a shirt." Chris laughed, rubbing Kevin's neck. "Why, what's wrong?" Kevin asked, trying to see what the two were noticing. "Here, use this." Christina said, handing Kevin a compact. "I don't think that that'll help much..." Chris said, confused. "I meant to use the mirror, stupid." Christina chuckled. "I knew that." Chris said, laughing along with Christina. Kevin opened the compact up and noticed that there was a crimson colored hickey on his collarbone. "Oops..." Chris whispered. "I guess we did get a little carried away, huh, baby." Kevin smiled as he pulled Chris closer. "I'm going to go get a shirt on, I'll be right back." Kevin went outside, and Chris looked over at what Christina was reading. "You've got a pretty tight schedule to keep, and a lot of work to do." Christina said, showing Chris the coming week's activities. "The photo shoot's not going to be so bad, I've got some ideas for that one already, and I've talked to the photographer. This one's gonna be really cool." Chris said confidently. The shoot was tomorrow, and Christina's video shoot was going to be the very next day. Kevin came back into the room, with his black sweater on, and he sat back down next to the two. "We'll be in LA any minute now." Kevin said, a little excitement in his voice. "Why are you so excited?" Christina asked. "Got another 'Pretty Woman' vacation planned?" "No, but who doesn't like LA?" Kevin said smiling. "I've got some plans for us, though.' Kevin pulled Chris close and rested his chin on Chris' shoulder. "Plans? I'm excited already." Chris said, snuggling closer to Kevin. Lance suddenly popped his head into the room, "Mail call, guys, Chris, you got something." He tossed a small package Kevin caught it, and Lance nodded before leaving. "What is it?" Christina asked, suddenly captivated by the box. "It's from my mom." Chris said. "Open it, Kev." Kevin tore the plain brown wrapping off of the box and took a note off of it. -Wear this for me, and for your dad. He's always with you, see you at Christmastime, I hope. Love you lots, Mom. Ps. Say hi to Kevin, I love him too. The three of them smiled at the words, and Kevin continued opening the box. It was another plain layer, and then a regular old box, it was brown too, and made of cardstock. Kevin opened that box and the three of them looked at the contents. Inside, was a plain silver cross. "That was my dad's." Chris said lowly. Kevin looked at it closer, and he noticed that it was the plainest, simplest cross. It was so simple, but that's what made it so beautiful. "Do you want me to put it on you?" Kevin asked Chris. "You can wear it with your Mickey Mouse Charm." Chris ran his fingers over the charm that was already on his chain, the one that he had received from Kevin. "Yeah, I guess so." Chris said. Kevin put it on Chris' chain, and it slid down to the front, joining the Mickey Mouse charm. "I don't know why it feels so weird wearing this, I saw my dad with it on every day of my life." "That's why it feels weird, you're so used to seeing it on your dad, and now you have it. I guess your mom wanted someone to wear it." Christina said, admiring the cross. "Are you going to go visit your mom at Christmastime?" Kevin asked. "I don't know right now. I think that I will, though, where else would I go?" Chris asked. "You could go and spend it with me and my family..." Kevin suggested quietly. "Hey guys! We're here!" A.J.'s voice bellowed through the bus. Chris and Christina all stood up, the excitement of getting off of the bus interrupting every other thought in their minds. Kevin grabbed some of his things that were left in the rec. room before getting his larger suitcase from under the bunk. Chris and Christina had already grabbed their things and were standing outside the bus. "Let's get up to our rooms, guys, everything's set." Howie said as he handed each person a key card and another copy of the schedule. Kevin caught up to Chris and the two of them walked together to the hotel room, it was still early in the day, and the guys were still in their pajamas. "You never really answered my question earlier." Kevin said, joining Chris on the edge of the bed. Just then, Justin popped his head into the room, "Hey Kev, you want to go grab something to eat?" Kevin looked over at Chris, who shrugged. "Nah, I think that we'll get something later." Justin faked a smile. "Yeah, umm, I'll see you later then." "Anyway, what do you say to spending Christmas with me?" Kevin asked. "Sure. I'd love to." Chris smiled. Kevin returned the smile, and pulled Chris into a hug. "My mom is gonna love you." "How do you know?" "Because she always says that she can't wait to meet you every time that I mention your name." "You tell your mom about me?" Chris questioned. "Yeah, I tell her just about everything." "Ok, I guess. My mom's going to go spend the holidays with my grandma. I usually don't go over to my grandma's house anyway." "Why not?" Kevin whispered as he began tonguing Chris' earring. "Because she lives in China...or something like that...she moves around." Chris chuckled. Kevin's stomach made a grumbling sound, and the two of them laughed softly. "Guess we should have taken Justin up on his offer there." "Let's go get something by ourselves then." Kevin said, pulling Chris up. "I think we should shower first, though." He laughed, looking at Chris still in his pajamas. Half an hour later, the two were sitting in a small restaurant. "So then we're going to head home, well to your home, in Kentucky. But what happens in the mean time?" Chris asked, sipping his iced tea. "A couple of shows, a couple of days off, some fun for you and me, same old same old." "Sounds good to me. So what kind of fun were you talking about?" "I'll was thinking about taking you to Disneyland. How does that sound?" Chris' face lit up with excitement. "I haven't been to Disneyland for so long." Kevin smiled. "I knew that you'd like it." "Yeah, so what are we going to do in the meantime?" Chris asked. "I'm tired. The bus wears me out." Kevin said. "So we're going back to the hotel?" Chris questioned. "We'll just have a night in." Kevin said. "We'll have a little carpet picnic." Chris laughed. He glanced at his watch, it was only about seven, and they'd get to the hotel in about half an hour. "Sounds good. It's a date." Kevin said as he motioned the waiter for the check. Linq had arrived in Los Angeles a couple hours ago, and typed a little on her small laptop that was sitting on the passenger seat of her car. She picked up her cell phone and dialed. "They're out. Going onto the 405, and you've got about 25 miles of traffic. Good luck. Remember 4ZZZ552. It has 3 Z's in it. Shouldn't be hard to find." She said. "Don't worry, have I ever let you down before?" a male voice responded. "Let's keep it that way. Stay on the line, and I'll tell you about when they should be there." Linq said. A smile grew on her thin lips as she pulled up directions to the Ritz Carlton in Beverly Hills. "Chris, you're a nice guy, but hey, who can't use a few extra bucks?" She said to herself. She typed more information into her laptop. A screen came up with every known piece of information on Chris, and beside it, a second window came up, this one with info on Kevin. She'd been tracing every move they'd made for the past couple days, and tracing everything from phone calls to restaurant orders. "Let's see what's so interesting about this guy now." She said silently. She scrolled down a few lines and raised an eyebrow. "As normal as normal goes. A pity that he'll have to go, he's so cute and all." She let out a small laugh, and then shut down her laptop. She started the engine of her car and drove down towards the hotel. She had carefully calculated everything to a tee, and nothing was going to be wrong, but since she couldn't get a tracker onto the rental car, there was no live time connection between her and Chris, only a lot of very educated guessing. "Put your seatbelt on, Chris." Kevin said as he took the onramp onto the freeway. "Sorry about that, almost forgot." Chris said, buckling his seatbelt. He flipped on the radio and tuned it to some country music. "What's up with the country all of a sudden?" Kevin asked, laughing slightly. "Why, don't like it?" "No, don't get me wrong, it's great, but I just didn't know you liked it." "Well, I do, and I love this song." Chris said as Faith Hill's 'Breathe' came onto the radio. Kevin slowed the car down as he approached the traffic. "You know Christina and Justin are jealous that I have such a romantic boyfriend." "Really, I didn't realize that I was so romantic." "Kev, when you take someone out to reenact a scene from there favorite movie, I think that's just a little romantic." Chris explained. "When did I do that?" Kevin asked, pretending to be dumb. "The whole Boston trip was a Pretty Woman replay. Don't tell me you didn't plan it out according to the movie. The opera was like the concert, and the plane ride, it was a total rip-off, you goof." Chris said. "Well, you liked it, didn't you?" "I'd like anything that you did for me." Chris said. "Damn, I missed out exit. The freeways in L.A. are the worst." Kevin complained. "It's not going to kill us because we past our exit, just take the next one." Kevin nodded and followed Chris' suggestion, he pulled into the next exit and backtracked, and in no time, they were back on course. Kevin stopped at a stoplight, at a stoplight, and sat back in his chair. "You're really tired, aren't you?" Chris asked, all he got back was a nod. Chris leaned in and gave Kevin a quick kiss on the cheek, lingering a little, and a smile instantly appeared on Kevin's face. Kev stepped onto the gas as the light turned green and crossed the intersection just as a car came speeding through on their right side, slightly skimming their rear bumper, but slamming into the side of the car behind them. Then just as it had come, it sped off. "Holy shit, what was that?" Chris said as his head whipped around to find the source of the noise. He didn't turn around quick enough to see the actual collision, but the aftermath of it was enough to make his heart skip a beat, "Kev, someone hit the car right behind us." Chris said in a panicked tone of voice. "We can't do anything Chris, and the car behind them will help the people, I'm sure. Call 911 on my cell just in case, though." Kevin said before handing Chris his cell phone. Chris did as he was told and hung up the phone. They arrived at the hotel in one piece, only slightly shaken. Both walked past the lobby and up the elevator into their hotel room. Chris turned on the television, and flipped to a local channel. 'This is Ellen Leyva reporting on a hit and run accident that just occurred moments ago in Beverly Hills. A large sport utility vehicle has hit a smaller sedan and run off, the driver is unknown and the victim was rushed to a hospital and is in stable condition. His or her name is unreleased, we'll get you more information as it becomes available.' "Whoa, Kev, that's the one that we were just at." Chris said. He turned to look at Kev, and to his surprise, Kevin was asleep on the bed. 'I thought that I was the one that's supposed to be tired all the time.' Chris thought to himself. He pulled off Kevin's jacket and hung it on the back of one of the chairs in the hotel room. He closed the blinds before leaving Kevin alone. Chris walked alone back out to the lobby of the hotel. He didn't feel like doing anything, so he walked down the street, hoping something would catch his attention and maybe amuse him for the time being. Back at the hotel, Justin noticed Chris and Kevin coming back, and he listened carefully as Chris left. Justin sat down, wondering why he didn't jump at the chance to have Kevin. Kevin saw him only as a friend, or rather his boyfriend's friend. Kevin and Justin really didn't talk much outside of dance rehearsals and meetings. Nothing was going his way. He'd either have to get Chris out of the picture or get a little friendlier with Kevin. Figuring that Chris wasn't going to be coming back anytime soon, Justin took this as his chance to get Kevin. He grabbed his towel and walked across the hall to the room that Chris and Kevin shared. Justin hesitated, but he had made up his mind, and he confidently knocked on the door. A few moments later, a sleepy Kevin answered. "Oh, hey Just." Kevin said as he scratched his head. "Can I use your shower, mine's out of hot water." Justin lied. "Yeah, do whatever, have you seen Chris around?" Kevin asked. "No, can't say I have. I wouldn't worry though." Justin said. "I guess you're right." Kevin said, sitting himself down on a chair. "You were gonna use the shower, right?" "Oh, yeah. Thanks." Justin said before walking into the bathroom. Kevin picked up one of Chris' binders, and flipped through it. There were pictures of him at every shoot and magazine cutouts of outfits. Kevin could see the whole process over and over again: a cutout, and then the picture of him in a very similar outfit at a shoot. There was a shoot tomorrow, and Kevin could see what Chris had planned for it. Plain khaki pants with a thin white button up shirt. No shoes, though. Kevin flipped the next few pages, and still not sign of shoes. He shrugged it off, Chris' ideas always worked, and the magazines loved his work. "Thanks for letting me use the shower, Kev." Just said as he walked out of the bathroom. Kevin looked up from the pictures, Justin stood before him with a towel slung low around his waist. His chest still had water drops clinging to the well formed muscles. His right hand ran through his hair as his left held the towel in place. "I know I've been asking for a lot, but can I borrow some clothes too? You can't really run down the hall in my towel." "Guess you're right." Kevin sighed. He was too tired to argue with Justin, and his mind was in another place. Kevin walked into the bedroom with Justin close behind. "I think that you'd fit Chris' clothes better, mine are kinda big." "I don't mind. I like wearing my clothes baggy anyway." Justin said. Kevin grabbed a pair of jeans for Justin and a tee-shirt. "Hey, can I wear that?" Justin asked, pointing to the black sweater that he'd seen Chris wear a lot. "I think that it's dirty." Kevin said, pulling out another sweater for him. Kevin reached for a pair of boxers, but Justin stopped him. "It's okay, I'm gonna go without 'em today." Justin said. Kevin shrugged and started to walk out of the room. "Hey, thanks again, Kev." "Yeah, no problem." Kevin said. Justin started putting the clothes on and walked out to where Kevin was. "You got a belt that I could use?" Justin asked. "These pants are bigger than I thought they'd be." Justin lifted up his shirt to show Kevin his shapely abs. "Yeah, there's one in the same drawer as the boxers were in." Kev said, not turning around. Justin walked back in the room and grabbed the belt. 'Damn, this guy is clueless.' Justin thought. He walked out and sat next to Kevin, who was watching TV. Justin looked over at Kevin, his sleepy green eyes and newly trimmed goatee stood out from his tanned skin. "Do you wanna do anything?" Justin asked. "Nah, I'm just waiting for Chris to get back, we have some plans for later." Kevin said, his attention still on the screen. His battle lost, Justin decided to leave Kevin alone, it was no use when the object of his affection was so engrossed in another person. Justin stood up, and turned to Kevin one last time. "You're a nice guy, Kev. Chris is one lucky person to have found you." "Well, he's something special, I'm glad I found him." "I guess I'll talk to you later, I'm gonna get going now." Justin said. "I'll let myself out." Just walked out of the door, his head hung low, and he felt bad, Kevin was really in love with Chris, and he could see that. "Hey Justin." Chris said as he walked down the hall, a cup of Starbucks coffee in his hand. "Hey." Was all Justin could say. "Is Kev still in there?" Chris asked. "Yeah, he's been waiting for you." Justin said. Chris opened the door, "See you later Just." "Later." Justin said before also walking into his room. Inside, Chris saw Kevin watching TV, half-asleep. "Didn't get much sleep, did you?" Chris asked as he sat down next to Kevin. "Justin came over and woke me up." Kevin sighed. "Yeah, I saw him on my way up. I got you some cocoa." Chris offered Kevin the cup. Kevin shook his head. Shrugging, Chris took a sip. "I think you should go back to bed." Chris suggested. "It's pretty nice out here." Kevin said, twisting himself into the couch. Chris grabbed a fleece afghan that Kevin had brought and covered his sleeping body. "I got scared when I woke up and you weren't here." "I just went out for a walk, Kev. Nothing big." Chris said softly. "Just leave a note next time, okay?" Kev asked. "Yeah, I will, I promise." Chris whispered. Content, Kevin finally drifted off to sleep. Chapter 30 "I like this song!" Chris said as Kevin reached for the radio buttons. "More of this country stuff, who is it this time?" Kevin asked. "It's Martina McBride. You took me to go see Runaway Bride, and it was in that movie. It's called 'I Love You.'" Chris said matter of factly. "Well, I like it, but can't we listen to something else?" Kevin complained. "After this song." Chris pleaded. "Fine." Kevin gave in. Chris sat back in his seat and listened to the rest of the song with no objections from Kevin. "Okay, hey...look, we're here." Chris said as Kevin pulled into a parking space. It was early, about four a.m. and the guys were all at the beach. Kevin got out of the car. Even he was being affected by being up at this ungodly hour. Together he and Chris slumped over to the makeup trailer. It was early, but the sun would be rising in an hour, so the boys didn't have much time to get ready. The normal photo shoot procedure were followed for the first hour or so, Chris sat there half-asleep as Kevin and the other guys got their make-up done. Afterwards, the guys got dressed, and walked out barefoot towards the water. It was cold, and the thin shirts the guys were wearing didn't do much to keep them warm. The guys walked into the water as instructed until they were about knee high in the cold water. "Damn, it's cold." Nick whispered. "Come on Nick, live with it. We'll be done soon." Brian said, rubbing his own arms. After some posing, the guys were asked to unbutton their shirts, the wind was beginning to kick up and their shirts would blow back in the breeze. Two wardrobe changes and five hours later, the shoot was finished, and the guys had the rest of the day off. "Let's go." Chris said to Kevin as he handed him his jacket. "Thanks, yeah, let's go now." Kevin said, putting his jacket on, it was still cold, and the sun was barely hanging in the sky. "Where are we going?" Chris asked as he hopped into the car. "We're going to Disneyland, didn't I tell you that?" Kevin said, confused. "We have to get there before we leave for Lexington." "Oh yeah, but I didn't know we were going today. Shouldn't you get some rest first?" Chris asked. "Nah, I'm fine. Let's get going now." Kevin smiled. Linq sat down in a small warehouse, and the man she hired was not far behind. "Damn it, you said you wouldn't miss, and the one time I need you to hit them the most, you freaking miss them." "I'm sorry Miss Linq, I was waiting, and I thought that they had taken a different route. They were running really late." The man groveled. "Give me another chance." "I think that it's a little to late for that, don't you?" Linq asked. "No, I don't. I'll hit them this time, I swear." "I can't risk another mistake, and every time we try and fail, the more suspicious it's going to be, don't you think?" "Yeah, but give me one more chance, I'll get them." "I don't think you will, my dear, and I can't risk you leaking out to anyone, I'm sorry." Linq said as she pulled out her gun. "No, please, I won't tell anyone." The man pleaded. He began to tear, and he fell to his knees. "There's only one way to make sure, and I'm sorry. I really am." Linq faked sympathy. She pulled the trigger and the man fell to the floor. She put the gun back into her purse, and walked out of the warehouse. She put on her sunglasses as she walked out into the light. "Well, Los Angeles, it's been nice, let's see how you compare to Lexington, shall we?" Chris and Kevin walked back to their hotel room, it was late, they stayed until the park had closed. The day had been a long one, and they were both tired. They hit almost every ride, and Kevin was mobbed when they sat down for a quick lunch. Chris was already falling asleep when Kevin opened the door. Kevin dropped the bags and walked over to the couch and motioned Chris to come on over and join him. Chris came over with the afghan and they both settled into the couch. "I'm sorry I had to tell you over the phone, mom." Kevin sighed. "I just didn't want to put Chris in some awkward position if you took it the wrong way." Kevin had woken up early, the two hour time difference required that he wake up early to catch his mom while she was still at home. "I understand, and it's okay. I can't wait to see you guys when you get back. I'll pick you up at the airport tomorrow night then, right." Ann said. "Yeah, I'll call you from the plane to remind you." Kevin said. Chris moved slightly, and Kevin froze, he didn't want to wake Chris, it was still early. Chris snuggled in closer to Kevin's body and resumed his sleeping. Kevin sighed in relief. Chris looked so innocent sleeping here with him, his arms wrapped around his Mickey Mouse. Kevin couldn't fathom what it meant to Chris, but he realized that Chris' entire childhood was wrapped up in that ragged, tattered stuffed animal. Kevin pulled Chris closer to him and tucked the ends of the blanket under him. "Kevin, are you still there?" Ann said over the phone. "Yeah, sorry mom. I had to take care of something real quick." "So I'll see you tomorrow. I can't wait. I love you dear." "I love you too mom. Bye." Kevin hung up the phone, and settled back into the couch. He was relieved that his mom took his lifestyle choice with no hard feelings. His mom always supported him, and he didn't know why he was so concerned about this. Chris moved again, and this time, Chris didn't go back to sleep. "Are you up, Kev?" Chris asked, his eyes still closed. "Yeah, I'm up." Chris sat up on the couch, Kevin smiled, Chris' hair was all matted and his face still showed signs of sleep. "You want to go take a shower, Kev?" "Why don't you go ahead, I'll get some food and then we'll pack. I'll shower after you." "Okay." Chris said before walking into the bathroom. Kevin ordered the food over the phone and then sat back down on the couch. The past week had been tiring, the guys had done four shows between the photo shoots, fan conferences, and interviews. He was lucky to fit in some personal time for him and Chris at all. Chris walked out of the bathroom in his towel just as the food arrived. Kev pulled the cart in while Chris got dressed, and then they ate, talking about the much-needed week off ahead. "So we've got everything taken care of." Kev said after explaining everything to Chris. "I can't wait to meet your family." Chris said before finishing his cup of orange juice. Kevin nodded. "They'll like you. I promise." Kevin said. "I'm gonna catch that shower now." Chris cleaned up the cart and sat down on the couch waiting for Kevin to finish taking his shower. He heard a knock at the door and got up to answer it. "Oh, hey Justin." Chris said after opening the door. "Hey. I just wanted to give back the clothes that Kev let me borrow the other day." Just said, holding the clothes out to Chris. Chris took the jeans and sweater. "Do you want to come in?" "Nah, I still gotta get some breakfast, and call my mom. You and Kev take care, alright?" Justin said. "Yeah, have a nice holiday, Justin." "You too, Chris." Justin said before walking back into his room. Chris shut the door and turned around, just as Kevin was coming out of the bathroom, his towel slung low around his hips. "Just wanted to give back these clothes." Chris said, handing Kevin the clothes. "Yeah, um...I'll go stick them with the dirty clothes." Kevin said, "You wanna start packing?" "Not really." Chris laughed. "I still gotta get dressed." Kevin said, walking into the bedroom. Chris followed, and sat down on the bed as Kevin took out a pair of boxers. "Justin doesn't wear underwear." Kevin laughed. "What are you talking about?" Chris asked. "Um, well when he came over to use the shower and borrow some clothes, I asked him if he needed some boxers, and he said he didn't feel like wearing them." Kevin explained. "Why don't you ever do that?" Chris said sarcastically. "Because what would happen if I got 'excited?' You know it's happened before." "Really, when?" Chris said before pulling his suitcase out from under the bed. s "Like when we were at Disneyland and we were riding some ride and you were cuddled next to me." "Oh, well I couldn't really tell." "Imagine what would have happened if I wasn't wearing underwear." Kevin said, sitting next to Chris on the bed. "I don't know, I mean what could we have done at Disneyland about that kind of thing?" Chris asked. "Well maybe we can't take care of it there, but we can take care of it here." Kevin whispered, his hand coming up under Chris' shirt. Chris pulled Kevin's face towards his for a kiss, his tongue slithering out to meet Kevin's. Kevin used his free hand to pull Chris' shirt off, just as Chris' lips hit his neck, adding to the already red hickey. Kevin moaned lowly at the sudden jolt of pleasure. He pulled off his towel and threw it to the floor. Chris' hand instantly left Kevin's cheek to jack his already hardening bone. Kevin lay back on the bed and pulled Chris on top of him, pulling him into another deep kiss. Kevin pulled Chris' zipper down and undid the button to his loose khaki pants. Kevin's hand dove down to rub the head of Chris' rock hard cock. Chris groaned at Kevin's soft touch and began nibbling on Kevin's left nipple. "Oh...yeah..." Kevin hissed at the new sensation. Chris helped Kevin by kicking off his pants, giving Kevin better access to his cock. Chris licked down Kevin's already sweaty chest and abs to his long, thick member, hard as steel. "Yeah...Chris..." Kevin whispered, lightly urging Chris down with his hands. Chris wrapped his lips around Kevin's swollen cockhead and licked around the sensitive slit. A loud groan escaped Kevin's mouth, and his body completely tensed up. Chris slowly rolled Kevin's balls in his hand as he took more and more of Kevin's manhood into his mouth. Kevin mumbled unintelligently as he received a very intense blowjob from Chris. Chris took all of Kevin into his throat as Kevin writhed on the bed in pleasure. Chris could feel Kevin's need to cum and he knew Kev was close because his cock was swelling and Kevin's body was tensing even further. Without warning, Kev shot his sweet load into Chris' waiting throat. Chris pulled off of Kev to taste the sweet fluid as Kevin moaned under him. Chris crawled up to Kevin's face and gave him a short kiss. "Make love to me, Kev." He asked simply. Kevin, still coming down from his sexual high, nodded and pulled Chris on top of him. Chris positioned himself over Kev's still hard cock and lowered himself onto the thick rod. Pain spread over Chris' face as Kev sank deeper and deeper into Chris' stretched asshole. Kevin slowed his penetration and wrapped his arms around Chris as he let the last few glorious inches enter his lover. Kevin sucked gently on Chris' neck and waited for Chris to become accustomed to him being inside of him. Chris was tighter than Kevin remembered and he couldn't help but to let out soft grunts as Chris' ass squeezed his hard cock. "Come one Kev, give it to me." Chris whispered, his voice hoarse. Kevin wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand before giving Chris another deep kiss. Kevin slowly withdrew his cock, causing Chris to hiss at the sensation. He teased Chris for a moment by not pushing back in, but Chris tried to push himself down onto Kevin's cock. Kevin smiled at Chris' enthusiasm. Kevin slowly pushed his thick cock back into his lover, and Chris groaned in appreciation. Kevin continued his slow fucking as Chris let out groans and grunts of pleasure underneath me. Kev made his thrusts more forceful as Chris began to loosen up. Sweat dripped from Kevin's chest as every muscle in his body was wracked with pleasure. Kevin thrust deeper and harder than he'd ever done before with Chris. Chris moaned in pleasure as Kevin pounded his prostate over and over. Chris screamed Kevin's name as he shot his hot load between their heaving chests. Kevin continued pounding into Chris' ass as the creamy liquid spread between their bodies. Kevin's dick was being squeezed by Chris' constricting ass muscles, and he could feel the cum rising. "Chris...baby, I'm so close." Kevin groaned. Chris shut him up with another passionate kiss and Kevin let himself release inside of Chris' hot body. Chris felt the hot cum erupt inside of him, and Kevin did the best he could to continue thrusting. Kevin eventually slowed, and Chris settled down on Kevin's sticky chest, trying to regain his strength. "Kev, I'm tired." Chris whispered. "It's okay, baby, go to sleep." Kevin said softly. Chris rolled off of Kevin, and lay chest up on the bed. Kevin walked lazily over to the bathroom and grabbed a small towel. He looked in the mirror as he wet the towel down. His hair was matted down with sweat, and every muscle in his body ached. He walked back over to the bed and wiped Chris' chest clean before putting a pair of boxers on Chris and himself. Kevin set the alarm before making sure Chris was holding Mickey. Kevin smiled as Chris instinctively reached for the stuffed animal. Kevin wrapped Chris up in his arms and joined his lover in slumber. Chapter 31 Chris looked out of the car window as Kevin pulled into the driveway of his mother's house. It was large, almost as large as his own parent's house. The well kept lawn and flowerbed gave the house a warm, inviting feel. "You in there?" Kev asked, tapping on Chris' shoulder. Chris smiled, "Yeah. I guess I'm just a little nervous about meeting your mom and brothers and all. Is Brian going to be here?" "He'll be here in a couple hours." Kevin said, getting out of the car. Chris opened the door, and stepped out. A woman came running out of the door, and Chris presumed it was Kevin's mom, Ann. The woman ran up to Kevin and threw her arms around him. Kevin dropped his luggage before giving her a loving hug. She came up to Chris and gave him a hug. "You must be Kevin's friend Chris." She said. "I've heard so much about you." "All good, I hope." Chris said, looking at Kevin. "Like there's anything bad to tell about you." Kevin smiled, grabbing his and Chris' bags. "Well, let's get you inside." Ann said, pulling Chris inside. Chris was pulled through the well-decorated house, and they ended up in the living room, with pictures of Kevin and his two brothers, all spread about the room and a large decorated Christmas tree. Kevin came into the room after dropping their bags in his old room. A small black and white cat came running into the room and hopped up in Kevin's arms. "Quincy!" Kevin smiled. "You got him up here, mom?" He began to play with the cat, which was obviously glad to see him. "Of course, the whole family has to be here, doesn't it? And speaking of family, Chris, your mom sent your Christmas present down, and it's in the garage." Ann smiled. Kevin put the cat down and excitedly led Chris out to the garage, they stopped dead in their tracks. "Your mom said that you two would have no problem sharing it." Ann said, grinning ear to ear. Chris and Kevin admired the gift, a shiny silver car. The Lincoln Navigator that Chris had wanted. "We have to go try this baby out." Kevin said, astonished at the sheer magnitude of the car. This was the kind of thing that happened movies and stories. Kevin never expected it to actually happen. "Come on, Chris. Mom do you need anything?" Kevin said, hopping into the driver's seat. Ann came back into the garage with a small list of groceries. "Well, I didn't go to the market yet. So if you two wouldn't mind, can you pick up these things for me?" Ann asked. "No problem. Kev and me will be back soon. Thanks Ann." Chris said cheerfully from the passenger's seat. Ann waved from the garage as the two went down the street in their new car. "Your mom is great." Chris said as they went to the supermarket. "My mom? What about yours? She got us a car! And a great one at that." Kevin said as he happily drove onto a larger street. "Remind me to thank her as soon as we get home." "Ok, so where is this market?" Chris asked. "Down a little ways. I want to take you to go visit my dad, I always do when I'm back home." Kevin said. "So we're going to a cemetery?" Chris asked. "Yeah, it's no big deal, you can stay in the car if you want to." Kevin reassured him. "No, I want to hear all about your dad." Chris said. Kevin smiled and began to tell Chris as they continued down the street. Kevin pulled onto a parking spot near his dad's headstone. "It's down here." Kevin said, pointing down the path a little. They arrived, and Kevin put the flowers they had bought into the little bronze vase that was there. Kevin stood up and pulled Chris closer to him. They stood there is solemn silence as Kevin thought about the good times that he had experienced with his father. Chris was just as silent, showing respect for Kevin's feeling as the memory of his father. Chris wished that his dad could be there with him at this time. He always did like Christmas. Kevin drove to the market, now in a happier mood. The two talked about their families, and the little quirks that they always had around Christmas time. They grabbed the groceries on the list and walked into the check stand to pay for them. Chris took a People magazine from the rack and flipped through it while they waited. "Kev, look at this." Chris pointed to the article. Chris could barely contain his laughter, and Kevin turned a deep shade of red. "I was hoping that you'd never see that." Kev smiled. "Sexiest pop star of all time, eh? Well I always knew you were." Chris chuckled. "Shhh...You'll blow my cover." Kevin said, pulling his baseball cap down. "Too late." Chris said, motioning towards a group of people that were eyeing Kevin. "Well, we'll just have to hurry then, won't we?" Kevin said, gritting his teeth. The last thing he needed was to be bombarded with fans. Kev and Chris quickly grabbed their groceries and bade a beeline for the new car. Kevin signed only a couple autographs, which was pretty good for the situation. Kevin drove some more, and a few blocks from their destination, Kevin stopped the car and pulled to the side of the road. "What's wrong?" Chris asked. "Well, since we won't get to 'you know' tonight, how about something to pull me over until we get a little alone time?" Kevin asked, leaning closer to Chris. "A little direct, don't you think?" Chris chuckled. "It got the message across, and that's good enough for me." Kevin said, pulling Chris over for a kiss. Chris hand went to massage Kevin's hardness in his jeans. Chris could feel Kevin's cock pulsate with excitement as his hands ran over it. Kevin moaned in agreement as Chris unzipped his pants. Reaching into the slit of his boxers, Chris' hand began to jerk on Kevin's steely dick. Kevin kissed Chris deeper, his need evident. His hand went to unbutton his own pants and yank them to his knees. Chris pushed Kevin back, so that he was sitting in the seat, and leaned down to tease the tip of Kev's cock with his tongue. Kevin whimpered and pleaded for Chris to go down on him. Chris obliged and began taking more of Kevin into his mouth and throat. Something about the whole situation turned Chris on, and he wanted, no, needed to taste Kevin's cum. Chris sucked and licked at the head of Kevin's cock, and soon Kevin's hips were rising off of the seat, slowly and gently fucking Chris' face. Kevin wanted Chris to have a little something out of this experience also, and pulled Chris off of his cock Kev climbed into the back seat and pulled Chris with him. Kev pulled Chris' pants and boxers off and slowly lowered Chris onto his hard cock. Chris moaned in approval, the pleasure was shooting throughout his body and Kevin's roughness turned him on even more. Kevin wasted no time, he thrust long and hard into Chris, jacking Chris' cock with the same rhythm as his fucking. Soon Kev's hand went to Chris' head and pulled him down for another kiss, Chris' cock rubbed against Kevin's defined abs, bringing him close to the edge. A few more hard strokes from Kevin and Chris' cock spilled it's cum onto Kevin's chest. Chris thrust his ass back to meet Kevin's forceful strokes and soon felt the warm sensation of cum in his ass. Kev slowed down, eventually stopping all together. "That was so intense, baby." Kevin whispered. Chris grabbed Kevin's wife beater and cleaned up from their chests. All he could do was nod. "I had no idea the first ride in the car would be so...good." "It's good because you made it good. I guess we sort of 'christened' the car now." Chris smiled. Kevin returned the smile and they both got dressed again to meet the family back home. As Chris and Kevin walked back into the house, groceries in hand, they were met with a familiar bark, and then a very familiar figure ran towards them. "Hey big guy!" Chris said happily as Bailey ran towards him and Kev. "What are you doing here?" "He came with me." Holly said as she stepped into the kitchen holding Casey. "And the cat." Chris ran over to Holly and gave her a friendly hug. "Our moms went to Singapore together, so I decided to come over here to Kentucky." "Hey Holly." Kevin said, putting the groceries away. "Hi Kev, you treating Chris alright?" Holly asked sarcastically. "Ask him yourself." Kev smiled. "He's a sweetheart. Come to make up with Brian?" Chris asked. "I'm giving him another chance, we're not make up." Holly explained. "Whatever, as long as you and Bri are together, and I don't have to put up with your bitching, I'll be fine." Chris smiled. "Is Brian here yet?" "He's around here someplace." Holly shrugged. "Come on, let's tell your mom we're back and find something to do." Chris said, pulling Kevin out of the kitchen. Bailey obediently followed them. "Where am I sleeping tonight?" "With me." Kevin said with a smile. "You mean you told her?" Chris asked. Kevin nodded. "So it's okay if I do this?" Chris leaned in for a kiss, his tongue darting in and out of Kevin's mouth. "I guess, but my brothers didn't really sound that supportive when I told them, so don't go overboard." "Do I ever?" "Not when anyone else is around, but baby when we're alone you go all out!" Kevin chuckled. After dinner, Kevin and Chris grabbed some soda and went out to the back yard. "So tomorrow's Christmas, what are we going to do with the rest of the Richardsons?" Chris asked. "I'm not sure. I just know that we get to open presents and have dinner. The rest is pretty much a blur." Kevin laughed. "Let's go onto the roof." "Excuse me?" Chris asked. "Roof?" "Come on, we do it all the time." Kevin said, and he ran into the house to get a blanket. He came back out, and led Chris over to the side of the house. There was a big tree and Kevin began climbing it. "Come on." Kevin offered a hand, and Chris took it. Kevin pulled Chris up to a large branch, and Chris could see that this was a normal thing for Kevin. "Wasn't so hard, was it?" "No, how much more to go?" Chris asked. "Only a couple more branches." Kevin said, glancing up the tree. A few minutes later, Kevin was leading Chris to the center of the roof. Kevin spread out the blanket and they both sat down on it. It was already dark out, and the stars were high in the sky. "Wow, it's beautiful." Chris whispered, inching closer to Kevin. "Just for you, baby." Kevin gleamed. He held Chris tighter, resting his stubbled chin on Chris' shoulder. "I'm so happy right now, I'm willing to say that my life is perfect. I have someone to love that loves me back, I have my family, and I'm home." Kevin said contently. "I love you Kev." Chris said, leaning back onto Kevin's chest. "I love you too, Chris." Kevin said, looking up towards the sky. "Kevin, do you ever think about where we'll be next Christmas?" Chris asked. "As long as I still have you with me, I don't care what it'll be like." Chapter 32 Kevin and Chris got down from the roof around two that night, and they slipped into the house, trying not to wake anyone. When they tiptoed into the hall, a figure turned on the light, startling them both. "Oh, um hey Ann." Chris said nervously. "Hi mom." Kevin said softly. "And where have you two been?" Ann said sternly. "Mom, you can't be serious." Kevin sighed. "I'm still your mother, and do you know what time it is?" Ann scolded. Chris and Kevin's heads hung low, "It's two." Chris said. "Two o' clock and you two are sneaking into the house?" "We weren't doing anything, mom." Kevin said. "Chris, good night, I'll see you in the morning, your room is on the left of the hall. Kevin will be there in a few minutes, I have to have a word with him." Ann said, pointing down the hall. Chris slumped down the hallway and closed the door behind him. "Kevin, I like Chris, don't get me wrong, but how old is he?" "He's nineteen, mom." Kevin sighed. "You're twenty-eight. He's almost ten years younger than you." Ann said. "Commitment means different things when you're younger. Does you know what is expected out of this kind of relationship?" "What are you talking about mom, I love him. Isn't that what matters?" Kevin defended. "In a perfect world Kevin, that's all that matters. But we live in reality, and things can happen. What if you two get into a fight and he tells the press? This kind of thing can ruin you." Ann said. "He wouldn't do that kind of thing, mom. I trust him." "That's good. Trust is a good thing. I just hope that you know what you're getting yourself into. I just don't want to see you do something that you'll regret. I know you have good judgement, but lust can confuse you." Ann said. "Just stay out of trouble, alright?" "I will mom, you don't have to worry about this. Good night." Kevin said before giving his mom a quick kiss on the cheek. She smiled, and walked back into her bedroom. "Good night. I'll see you two tomorrow morning." Kevin walked into his bedroom, where Chris was changing into his flannel pants. "You get in trouble?" Chris asked. "No, we just had a little talk." Kevin said, taking his sweatshirt off. Chris came over and gave him a kiss. "I love you, Kevin." Chris smiled. "I love you to, baby." Kevin said. He took off his pants and they crawled under the sheets. Kevin held Chris tightly as they fell asleep. Chris felt safe in Kevin's strong arms, and the fact that he was without his family this Christmas fell from his mind. The next morning Kevin woke Chris up early, there were lots of things to be done on Christmas. The two walked downstairs as Ann was making breakfast. "Go set the table, boys. Everyone is going to be here soon." She said, not looking up from her cooking. "Come on." Kevin said as he led Chris into the dining room. Chris and Kevin set up the plates and silverware until Bailey came into the room, looking for something, or someone. Chris picked him up. A month away from his puppy was way to long. "How's my Bailey? Has Holly been treating you good, or has Casey replaced you?" Chris asked the dog. Kevin shook his head. Chris looked too cute talking baby talk to the dog. Holly came in, Casey the big fluffy cat in her arms. "Kev, your brothers are here. Tim is way cute." She smiled. "Don't you go cheating on Brian." Kevin smiled. Holly glared at Chris, who mouthed 'I didn't tell him anything.' The whole Justin ordeal hit Holly hard, especially since Brian really did love Holly. Justin was just a crush Holly had developed. She was completely over it now, at least that's what she told herself. "Come on Chris, I'll introduce you to the rest of the family." Kevin said. Chris followed him into the kitchen, where his older brothers Jerald and Tim were talking to Ann. They had armloads of presents, and they were about to put them under the tree. "Guys, this is Chris." Kevin said. They offered their hands, and Chris shook each. "Jerald is the older one and that joker over there's Tim." "Yeah, Kev's the baby." Jerald joked. "Nice to meet you, Chris." "Get everyone into the dining room for breakfast!" Ann yelled. Chris glanced at his watch, it was late for breakfast, you could say that it was more of a brunch that they had, since it was way too big to be a breakfast. They all ate, swapping stories and talking. Ann was very interested in Holly's job, and that came up a lot. After breakfast, Kevin led Chris over to the living room, and they sat looking at the enormous tree, and the presents overflowing under it. They shook the boxes, trying to guess what was in them. Bailey was having fun chasing both Quincy and Casey, since he was the only puppy in the house. Everything was just like a Christmas in stories, except it wasn't snowing, but that didn't matter to anyone, it was still Christmas. After hours of just talking and sipping hot chocolate, Ann came in and handed everyone presents, after frenzied ripping and tearing, everyone was admiring new clothes, jewelry, or other things. Kevin and Chris stepped outside onto the porch to get away from all the hustle and bustle going on inside of the house. "They're having a good time in there." Chris said. "Yeah, and why shouldn't they? It's Christmas." Kevin smiled. Kevin clutched something in his pocket, he knew what it was, but Chris didn't know he had it. Kevin debated if it was the right time to ask, would he scare Chris off by being so forward? Kevin felt in his heart that it was the right time, and he wanted it more than anything. He glanced over at Chris, he looked so happy and content with things the way that they were. "Hey Kev, Chris! Get back in here!" Holly yelled from inside the house. Kevin's train of thought came to a complete stop as Chris looked up at him. "Is everything okay?" Chris asked. "I just got some things on my mind." Kevin mumbled. Chris grabbed his hand and they started walking back into the house. "Hey Chris..." "Yeah?" Chris asked, looking up at him. "I love you." Kevin said, and gave him one last kiss before they went into the house.
