This is a story of consenting male adults in sexual activities if this offends you or you are too young to read then GO AWAY! Lance Air by: westmingay@aol.com (Mike) You spend your life reading and hearing stories of fantasies . . . then one day you wake up never expecting it to happen to you . . . "Good evening ladies and gentleman, welcome to United Airlines flight 1246 with nonstop service to New York La Guardia. Tonight you will be cruising on board a Boeing 757-300. Our estimated time of Arrival in LGA is 7:00 a.m. eastern standard time. Because this is a 'red eye' flight we will not be serving a meal, however when we reach an acceptable altitude we will begin beverage service in the cabin. My name is Michel and I am your Senior on this flight and will be serving in the first class cabin, in Economy class will be Kristen, Steven and Annette, in business will be Julie and Denise. After the captain has turned off the Seat belt sign . . . if there is anything we can do to make your flight more enjoyable please feel free to press your call button. Thank you for flying United and enjoy your flight." "Shit, Kristen I am so tired of this crappy, all night flight. No one is even awake for the safety instructions and why do I even bother with my 'pleasant' welcome aboards" Mike angrily mumbled. "Your still bitter about your break up with Jason, aren't you? You use to love these 'red eye', flights it gave you more time to get to know the few passengers who where a wake. I remember in training when YOU told me that you can meet some very interesting people and enjoy your flight since so few people are on board or awake" Kristen replied. "Well your right maybe I should have taken more time off but oh well what is done is done. Let me have a copy of the first class list before we level off so I can look through the names and begin my nightly kiss up by name"Mike groaned. "Listen I had better quiet down the last thing I need is someone to hear me. I mean I do love my job. Who wouldn't, I get to see the world from above? Lets see who is on this list . . . 1A Mr. Smith, 1B Mrs. Smith 2A Mr. Bass." " Mr. LANCE BASS"Kristen interrupted. "See its not such a bad night after all you're an N'SYNC fan Mike." "Oh my good girl the last thing a man like that needs is some ditzy flight attendant drooling over him like a fourteen-year-old girl. Sure I have always had a crush on him but he would NEVER believe I wanted to get to know the real him. Like every star we have met on board he probably assumes we are out to get his money and fame. Two things I would never want, besides I am sure he is straight. Anyhow I am happy with my home, my best friend and her daughter make my life complete not to mention my exciting job, who wants all of that other attention. All I want is fireworks, moon light walks and hand to hold for occasional support . . . like I thought I had with Jason." "Hey Mike when you are done we have reached a serving altitude" Kristen laughed "besides don't sell your self short he is human too. I will be in economy as always if you need me," Kristen said as she closed the divider. Hmm Mr. Bass thought what an interesting guy I noticed he was cute when I got on board but after hearing all that he seems to be nice so unreal. How on earth can I ever get his interest? Lance thought to himself not even hearing Mike speak to him. "Mr. Bass . . . sir . . . " "Oh I am sorry I get so deep into thought sometimes" Lance said blushing. "No problem sir I am here for your conveince. My name is Mike and I am the First Class flight attendant . . . would you like a cocktail or fresh-baked cookie?" "Sure" he said with that million dollar southern smile as Mike's legs almost buckled under him "how about a nice Southern Comfort on the rocks with a Dr. Pepper to wash it down and of course some pretzels." Again with that grin Mike felt like a fledgling Flight Attendant who could barely stand on his legs in flight. "R. ri..right away sir" he replied as he headed to the forward galley to prepare drinks he couldn't help but look back. As he did Mr. Bass blushed as he tried to pretend like he wasn't looking. Could it be? Mike thought. No just do your job. A few minutes later Mike arrived with a tray holding pretzels and the cocktail on it. "Here you are Mr. Bass enjoy your drink and feel free to ring the call button if you need anything" Mike said grinning from ear to ear. "Well actually Mike . . . these flights can be long and rather boring," Lance began to blush, "it seems I am the only first class passenger awake . . . would it be possible for you to have a seat and chat for a while I have had a busy day and am wide awake . . . I mean if you're allowed to do that" Lance grabbed for words. "Certainly Mr. Bass it's my job to entertain the passengers and make their flight as pleasant as possible"Mike replied. And it would be so awesome to talk to you Mike thought to himself. "Oh and please call me Lance. Mr. Bass is my father." They both laughed. " I need to check on my crew in the rest of the cabin first then I will be happy to sit for a few" Mike replied. Hurrying through the cabin and he noticed that a majority of the passengers were asleep. While the other members of the crew were relaxing in empty seats. "Kristen," Mike exclaimed "He wants me to sit down and talk to him, I can't believe it." "What do you mean he wants you to sit with him? Don't you have other passengers?" Kristen questioned while pulling some cookies out of the heater in the rear galley. "No they are all asleep, and he just asked me out of the blue if I would sit with him and talk for a while since the flight is so long and boring. I can't believe it, I even think I caught him checking me out!" "Well boy what are you doing here? Why aren't you up front talking to the man of your dreams?" Kristen smiled. "Your right I just had to tell you and check on the crew, Everyone seems fine most of the plane is asleep and we have three hours until we begin final. I will be up front if you or anyone needs anything. Take turns breaking each other and keep up the call buttons."Mike instructed "I will let the crew know. You always work so hard in flight go enjoy your chat Mike" Kristen replied. Mean while in the first class cabin Lance was thinking to himself. What am I doing? He probably thinks I am desperate trying to talk to the Flight Attendant. But I heard him say he wants to get to know me. This life can be so lonely what's wrong with trying to get to know someone. None of the guys except J.C. knows about me. So it's very hard to get to know any nice men. Not to mention management would flip if they knew I was gay. Ok Lance calm down it's not marriage. It's just a conversation. "Lance are you that deep in thought again" Michel laughed. "Oh how long have you been back Mike?" Lance blushed hoping head hadn't been oblivious to long. "A few minutes or so I passed by and told you I needed to drop by the cockpit and you said ok then when I came back here you were lost in thought." Mike responded. "OH sorry, I was thinking about some . . . music related and legal stuff. It's hard to work an album and deal with the media and this Law suit. So lately I seem to trail off into thought very easily." Lance struggled for excuses. "Hey I understand I am just coming off some very serious stuff in my life and I still drift off into thought sometimes and forget where I am" Mike said as he sat down in 2B next to lance. "Well I guess it's a good thing you aren't the pilot then" Lance teased. Both men began to laugh and with that the ice was broken. They talked for what seemed like forever about life and business. Lance talked about, horses and life in Mississippi. Mike told him about how he started flying and about his years of ridding. They talked about family and friends, compared stories about life in, LA where Mike lived and life in Orlando Lances new home. It was amazing how the two of them were so comfortable with each other like it was meant to be. Two strangers on a plane just talking, laughing and relating, something that very rarely happens anymore. "Good morning Ladies and gentleman this is Captain Woodlock, in just about ten minutes we will begin out final approach into New York La Gaurdia. The current temperature in New York is 65 degrees with a light wind out of the west at 20 miles per hour. We will be landing at approximately 7:05 a.m. about five minutes late." "Oh no I need to do some things. I can't believe the time went by so fast." Mike jumped up hoping none of the other passengers would see he was sitting as they began to sir and wake up. "I would love to talk more but I have to hurry." With that Mike was up and greeting passengers as they woke up and began to prepare for landing. In no time the cabin was secure and Kristen had returned to the Jump Seat next to Mike in first Class and they were beginning to approach the run way. "Kristen, when we get to the hotel I have to tell you all about the conversation it was so amazing. I can't believe how real he was. I have never felt like this ever. I owe you so big for picking up my slack and making up for me on the flight.". Mike beamed, totally un aware that Lance once again could hear him. "Well did you ask him to call you or something?" Kristen inquired. "No, that's just it I couldn't bring myself to do it. When the Captain began announcing I jumped up and began to secure the cabin I didn't know what to do or how to end it when I didn't even want it to end." Mike replied ashamedly. "Well then when we land you should try to catch him and that's all there is to it. You have already broken a bunch of rules on this flight, giving him your number is just one more" Kristen teased as they both laughed. "Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to New York La Gaurdia. Local times is approximately 7:05 a.m., please keep your seat belts fastened until we have come to a complete stop at the gate and the Captain has turned of the seat belt signs. On behalf of this LAX based flight crew we would like to thank you for flying with us and hope to see you again soon." With that Mike placed the Microphone down and stood up to open the cabin door wondering how or what to do about Lance before he got off. As the passengers began to "deplane" Mike noticed that Lance was nowhere to be found, had he slipped off while I was in the cockpit after we landed? Mike thought. After about 20 minutes all of the passengers were off and the crew was pulling their roller bags out and putting on their coats. The pilots were off the plane already as usual they didn't care too much about the plane once it was landed. "Hey Steven, do you want to take the girls and hit a good club tonight" Mike asked. "Yea, sure Mike we have three days before we have to take the next flight to Orlando." Steven replied. "Great round up the girls while I do the final check, and see if they want to go tonight and I will meet you all at the Hotel Shuttle in a few minutes."Mike stated. With that the whole crew was off and Mike began to final check the lavatories and closets for remaining passengers. Just as he was about to open the door to that first class restroom it opened up and before he knew what hit him a warm set of lips were pressed to his. He opened his eyes after the shock and saw it was Lance. Their tongues played and intense little game of tag as they teased and darted around each others mouth. It was like something out of an erotic dream and in no time it was over. "I had too, Lance said, everything with you just felt so write, this is so crazy I have never done this before. Listen here's my cell number give me a call I will be in town for a few days." Before Mike could even respond Lance handed him a piece of paper and was gone. It was a note and it read: Michel, Thank you for a wonderful flight. I hope this doesn't sound weird but I felt something I can't explain while I was talking to you. I can't imagine what this could mean. But let's explore it together. I hope to hear from you. Lance cell-1-800-555-0814 p.s. I heard both of your conversations with the other flight attendant and I had to show you I thought the same thing Michel smiled as he walked off the plane. What a flight did this all really happen? Did he just kiss Lance Bass from N'SYNC? Too much to handle he needed to sleep and then try to figure things out.
