Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2000 01:42:18 EDT From: KNB Subject: "Lance and Justins Love" Part III gay/celebrity/boy-bands/ Well here it is chapter three! I'm so proud of myself for making it this far. With all the other little projects that I'm up too (Including yet another story) its surprising that I've done this. I would like to thank the 49 people who emailed me. It's always nice to know that people appreciate my work. It boosts my ego. I now have to have several small children follow me around; my ego is that large. NOT!!! Also I would like to thank those in my life who have made it that much more enjoyable. Tim, Steve, Keith, and Nicole, Thank you so much. And now for the ever so popular disclaimer. You know the drill, if your too young, too close minded, or you happen to be one of my blood enemies. Go somewhere else! I do not know any of the members of N'Sync personally, even though I would like to. I'm just not confident enough to go their concert, I doubt they'd appreciate a gay fan yelling their names at the top of his lungs, but hey, I can dream. And dream I do. As far as I know both James Lance Bass and Justin Randall Timberlake are as straight as and arrow, compared to some of us who are as straight as a French horn. I also don't know their mommies, so I have no clue how'd they react if they found out their sons were gay. I think I've wasted enough space, so here it is! ~ Lance and Justin's Love III ~ Lynn, JC, Lance and Justin sat in a semi-deserted airport. Being that it was early in the morning, there were hardly any people around. Lance looked very nervous and was paler than he normally was. Justin sat next to him and was dying to hold his lover's hand. He knew what was going through his boy friends head, as it had went through his the day before when he told his mother. "Okay, I know why Lance is here, it's his mom after all. I know why Justin is here, he loves Lance. I'm here to pick up Joey and Chris since they flew out to Las Vegas last night, but why is Lynn here again?" JC asked, even though this had been explained to him earlier. "Becuase mom won't let me drive her new van okay." Justin pouted. "I've seen the way you drive Curly and I agree with her." Lance chuckled, relieving some of the tension he had been feeling. "Hey I'm a good driver!" Justin said in his defense. "Yeah and Chris has won his fair share of bets with Joey!" Justin punched his best friend in the arm for that comment. "Out of curiosity, does anyone else think its weird that both my mom's and Chris and Joey's flights get in at almost the same time?" Lance asked. "Yeah and no." JC responded. "No because I called the guys and said I was only going to the airport once in the day. And yes I find it surprising that the airline didn't screw up the flight and make it late again." "I know, flights never arrive on time, this is strange." "Look there they are." JC said as he got up to go meet his friends. The rest followed, as they were eager to see them again. "Hi Chris! Hi Joey!" Justin said cheerfully. "Hey Joey, I thought you were gonna stay in Orlando. What happened?" 'Well Chris here thought he could best me at gambling. So we just went. I cleaned up and got a thousand bucks." Joey said triumphantly. "How'd you do Chris?" "Um, yeah. Look could someone lend me some cash? I need to pay of Super Freak over here." Chris said pointing at Joey with his thumb, while looking at his shoes. "Gawd Chris! Give up! You will never beat Joey at gambling." Lance said as he linked hands with Justin. Chris noticed and casually slipped in between Lance and Justin forcing them apart. He looked at Lynn and smiled nervously. "Its okay Chris I know about my boy and his boyfriend." She smiled at both her son and Lance. "DAMMIT!" Chris yelled. "What's the matter Chris?" Lance asked. "I owe this prick a hundred bucks!" he threw his hand up in the air and began to walk back to the waiting area. "Heaven forbid I would ever win a bet. No! I have to loose constantly to that bastard over there!" 'Watch your mouth Christopher!" Lynn said in that stern mother tone that sends shivers down every child's spine. Chris sat down and was soon surrounded by his friends and Lynn. "I mean common, who knew this guy would successfully call yet another one?" "How much have you lost to Joey Chris?" Lynn asked. "What you mean because of these two?" Chris asked. Lynn just nodded. "A few grand at the very least." Chris said as he sat back and crossed his arms. "So what did you loose this time Chris?" Justin asked. "I bet Joey that you and Lance hadn't told Lynn that you were both gay and together." Chris said clearly upset at having lost yet another bet to his friend. "WHAT?!?" Everyone turned around and turned white as they looked into the face of... (Think about how cruel I could be right now by putting in a To Be Continued. ) "MOM!" Lance said as he jumped up separating himself from Justin as quickly as he could. "I uh... I'm uh... Oh God." Lance said as he quickly sat down and placed his head in his hands. Justin wanted so much to comfort him, but he knew he couldn't in front of Diane Bass. Meanwhile the rest of the guys had gotten up quietly and started for the parking lot, each patting Lance on the shoulder before they left. Pretty soon the only ones there where Lance, Justin, Lynn, and Diane. Lance looked up to see his mother looking at him as if she were disgusted with him. "Maybe we should get out of this airport." Suggested Lynn. "I think that would be a good idea." Responded Diane as she headed for the door. Lynn looked sympathetically at the two boys and motioned them to follow them. Both boys followed the two women with their eyes cast down at the floor. They soon reached the van and got in. Lynn behind the wheel, with Diane in the passenger seat. Both boys sat together in the seat right behind them. "Mom, I... I uh didn't want you to find out that way." Lance said. "And how would you have liked me to have found out James?" Diane replied. "I wanted to tell you, myself, not from someone else. I was going to come to visit you and dad in a few weeks and that was when I was going to tell you." "That certainly would have been a better way." Diane said with no emotion in her voice. Lynn was about to say something, but she thought better of it. This was something that Diane needed to deal with herself; she would be there later for her to talk to, if Diane wanted to. "Are you alright Ms. Bass?" Justin asked shyly. "I'm a little upset and disappointed Justin." She responded. "I'm sorry mom." Lance said sadly. "You don't even know what your apologizing for James." "For being gay. For being a disappointment. I'm sorry mommy." Tears started to trail down Lances cheeks as he said this. Justin couldn't stand this anymore; his heart broke into pieces as he watched the one he loved suffer. He pulled Lance into hug and held him tight against himself. He felt Lance sob into his shoulder for a few seconds, then remembering he wasn't alone he pulled away. Justin dried his lover's eyes with his thumb. Lance looked at his boy friend and offered a weak smile. Justin smiled weakly back. Lance knew that he would be there for him no matter what. That he loved him no matter what. Lynn had watched this in the rear view mirror, and smiled despite herself. Her son was in love, and that made her happy. "I'm not disappointed for you being gay James. That's something you can't change." "Then what are you disappointed about?" "The fact that you hid this from me. All I ever wanted was for my children to be happy. It must have been very difficult for you to hide this from those you love." Lance smiled and the tears started again. "You mean you're not upset about me being gay?" Lance asked. "What about the church?" "I won't lie to you, I don't think being gay is moral or just, but its how God made you. So I can accept it." Lynn smiled at Diane's reaction, so did the boys behind her. "We do need to talk about this later though." She said. "I understand mom." "Not just you James. I mean Justin and Lynn as well." Diane said as she turned in her seat and smiled at her son. A wave of relief swept through the van as they pulled into Justin's driveway. "Come on in Diane, we'll get a cup of tea and have a chat before we talk with the boys." Lynn said as she got out of the van and began walking with the others up to the door. "We'll just go make ourselves scarce for a while." Justin said as he unlocked the door. He dropped his keys onto the hall table and grabbed Lance's hand. "We'll be out back if you need us." Justin just smiled at the confused look on Lance's face. Both boys left their mothers in the kitchen and proceeded to go out back. They stood under the sun for a few minutes before Justin wrapped his arms around Lance. Putting his chin on Lance's shoulder, out of the corner of his eye he noticed that Lance had a small frown on his lips. "Common." Justin said as he grabbed his lover's hand. He stated to run out into the yard towing Lance behind him. He started to laugh as he twirled around in the grass under the sun with his boyfriend. Both boy linked hands and spun around untill they were to dizzy to stand. They fell into the grass giggling at the imatuity of the moment. Justin rolled over on to his back and smiled up into the blue sky. Lance rolled on to his back and placed his head on Justin's chest. Now lying in a T they linked hands and tryed to calm down. "Thank you baby" Lance said. "For what James?" "For making me feel better even with every thing going on." "I would do anything to see you smile baby." "That was so cheesy, but that you all the same." Both boys continued to lie under the sun, both waiting untill their mothers called for them. In the house. Lynn and Diane stood watching there boys in the yard. Both had smiles on their faces. Lynn sighed, her son was in love, and that made her happy. Diane sighed as well, but only because she was still confused. "They are in love aren't they?" Diane asked. "They are the two most in love people I've ever seen." Responded Lynn. "How long have you know Lynn?" "I've known about Justin for a couple years now." "How?" Diane asked incredulously. "Justin used to mumble your sons name as he slept." Lynn smiled at how cute that sounded. "How did you cope?" "What do you mean?" "How did you deal with the fact that your son was gay?" "I figured that as long as he was happy, I would be happy for him. Who am I to tell Justin who he can and con not love?" "You're his mother." "Exactly." Lynn said as she took a sip of her tea. "I'm his mother." Both women sat queitly for a few minutes as Diane let the truth of Lynn's statement sink in. "How did you find out about them Lynn?" Diane continued. "They told me yesterday. They said they were going to tell you when they traveled to Mississippi in a few weeks." Diane sighed again, and held her teacup in both hands in front of her face. "I guess its going to take some getting used to? My boy sleeping with another man." She sighed again. "Then you have plenty of time to get used to it. They haven't slept together yet. At least not sexually." "I find that a little hard to believe. They are both young males, and we know how they are." Diane smiled weakly. "Justin has never lied to me, so I believe him. He also lives with Josh for most of the year, and Josh knows that he can't lie to me, even though he has tried." Lynn smiled evilly as she said the last part. "They said that they wanted to tell their parents before they took their relationship to that level." "Well I guess I can live with my baby sleeping with Justin later on. I'm glad they haven't done anything yet, it would have been to much for me to take all at once." She looked out the window and saw both boys lying on the ground giggling to themselves. She turned back to Lynn. "I suppose that if my James has to be gay, I couldn't think of a better boy to make him happy." "Thank you." Lynn smiled proudly. "Answer me one more question though." Diane asked. "Anything." "How much money did Christopher loose to Joey over those two." Diane said with a straight face. Lynn looked at Diane with a strange expression on her face before they both started to crack up laughing. Out in the yard. Justin raised his head as he heard the laughter coming from the kitchen. He started to get up, but was soon stopped by Lance. "I'm comfy. Don't move." "I'm sorry sweetie, but our moms are laughing and that means it's a good sign. I was gonna go up there and see if we could talk to them yet." Lance took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He sat up and supported himself on his elbows. "Okay, lets go." He got up and grabbed Justin's hand. He pulled his lover to his feet and wrapped his arms around the younger boy. "I love you Justin." Placing a small kiss on Lance's lips, Justin replied "I love you too James." They separated, linked hands yet again and walked back to the house. In the kitchen. The two women stopped laughing as they heard the back door open and then close. Soon enough Justin's head peaked around the corner and asked. "Is it okay for us to be here now." "Yes, common in boys." Lance shyly came around the corner and sat down on the opposite side of the table than Justin did. Both Lynn and Diane noticed this. Diane was the first to speak. "Lance I'm okay with you being gay." Lance looked up and smiled. "Thanks mom, I knew you would understand." He got up and hugged his mother. "I didn't until I saw you two out back." She said. Both boys blushed terribly as she mentioned this. "You uh... You saw that?" "Yes I did. And I'm happy for you James. You too Justin. If it was going to be anyone that my son was dating, I'm glad its you." Justin blushed even more as she said that. "Uh... Thank you Mrs. Bass." "Call me mom. It appears that your gonna be part of the family now." "Thank you mom." Justin got up and hugged Diane. There was a knock at the door and Lynn got up to answer it Several minutes later she came back towing JC, Chris and Joey behind her. "How is every thing?" Josh asked. 'Every thing is great Josh." Justin answered. "So you two have told your moms. What about your dads?" Lance and Justin looked at each other with worry in their eyes. ~ To Be Continued ~ There it is. I figure that I'll write a few more chapters on how each of the three fathers will react, so sorry but the sex is just gonna have to wait. Please email me and tell me what you think. I need actually criticism here people. Not just empty praise, I love that and all, buts its no real help. kevin_brozyna@hotmail.com.
