Ok, this one is gonna be kinda deep so if ya can't handle it I suggest you stop here. If you are still here, YAY! You'll like it, it is just kinda deep. Ok so I am watching Entrapment and they are kissing and it is just wrong. She is like 30 and he is 75. BARF! I was at my mothers today. I bought a new CD player also. Anyway, I had it on and I had my *N Sync CD in it. Well as I was leavin I opened the door and lost grip of my CD case and my CD player. They fell to the ground and my CD fell out and got all scratched up. I swear I started to cry, it was so traumatic, if it didn't work I would have found an open music store and bought it right after I left. Anyway, we are attached. My CD player is good though. Well. Usually I make my intro two paragraphs. Ok, Ya know what, I am still watching entrapment, and as I typed the last sentence I missed how they got off the cable and into the building. AWWW he's sad! This is so mushy, I LOVE IT! OK, it is over now, now I can start this. OK, so e-mail me, I love e-mails, spifty214@email.com, I haven't gotten very many lately. Your e-mails are what keep me writing. Well anywho, her we go. LEGAL: I make no claims to the sexuality of any member of `N Sync or anyone else. This is completely fictional. If you are under 18 or if it is illegal for you to read this then just go away. This story has homosexual themes and sexual situations in it. Here we go, but first I gotta pee. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lonely Lance...Chapter 9 "OOH...Grrrr tiger." Steve said laughing. "I know this really turns you on and all, but there some days when I am in the mood for clothes. I dunno, does that happen to you ever?" Steve said jokingly to Lance. "Ya know, it does, it does, I have the same problem." Lance said heading over to Steve. "Well to the right and in front of you are my closets. Pick what you wanna wear." Lance said as he stop signaling that Steve was in his way that he wanted to get into his closet. "OK, I choos door A." Steve said as he headed into the closet in front of him that Lance had just walked into. "Good choice." Lance said. They were very quiet after that. Steve picked out an outfit and went into his bathroom. Lance stayed in his. After 20 minutes they were ready to go. It was 2:30. They went downstairs and Lance lead the way to the kitchen. He started opening cupboards looking for food. "Well, I have no food. Dammit" Lance said "It's ok, I am not that hungry actually. I just have this weird feeling. I dunno it's like something bad is about to happen. I guess I am just nuts." Steve said a little worried. "No you're not. It happens to me too. I doubt anything bad has happened. Let's just go have a good day. I am not that hungry either. We can stop somewhere when we get to Orlando." Lance said "Alright, let's have a good day. Maybe I will be hungry by then. Shall we go?" Steve asked trying to sound happy. "Yes, do we wanna take to two cars or take yours or mine?" Lance asked. "Well it depends, am I coming back here after we get things done?" Steve asked "I was hoping you would, but you don't have to." Lance said "Well what kinda car do you drive?" Steve asked. "I have the same Mustang as you, only mine is black and not green. I also have a Durango. It's white." Lance said. "Let's take the Durrango, those are fun." Steve said "Yes they are. That's why I bought it!" Lance said. "Boy, I am smart." Steve said as he hit himself on the forehead. "I can tell" Lance said hitting Steve on the back of the head. "Shut your mouth. I won't take no flack from you." Steve said in an authoritive way. "Let's just go. I won't take none from you either. I can kick your ass!" Lance said "I'd like to see you try." Steve said. "I said I can, but I don't kick my friends asses so I guess I won't kick yours." Lance said "AWWWW! I have a new friend. How special." Steve said saying `how special' like the church lady on SNL. (if you don`t know who the church lady is then you are a sad sheltered person. I am a youngin and I know who it is.) "Alright, let me find my keys and we can get out of here." Lance said as he frantically searched for his keys. "Uhm Lance." Steve said as Lance looked up from the loveseat in the family room. "Yeah?" Lance said. "Try looking in your hand." Steve said starting to laugh. "Oh, well would ya look at that. There they are. I feel dumb now." Lance said starting to blush. "It's ok, I already know you were dumb, nothing new." Steve said as Lance threw a cushion at him. "Shup! Let's go." Lance said as he started heading for the door that went through the laundry room and into the garage. They both got in the Durango. Lance had the Dixie Chicks Wide Open Spaces CD in. It was at the middle of the song, Wide Open Spaces. "So you like the Dixie Chicks?" Steve asked as they pulled out of the driveway. "Yup, they are really nice. You?" Lance said "Yup, they are awesome. I love You Were Mine. It is a really good song." Steve replied. "Yeah it is, it's number 5, it will be on in a couple minutes." Lance said. "Cool." Steve said. They made the rest of the trip in silence. They made the forty five minute journey in silence. They were thinking. Lance about Steve and Steve about Lance. Lance didn't feel alone right now. He felt safe, secure. Steve was apprehensive. He didn't want to ruin anything. He thought Lance was gay, he wasn't sure, but you can usually tell. He would just let things take it's course. They were two miles from Jive when Lance realized that he didn't know where Steve wanted to go first. "Uhm, Steve, did you want to go to your house first?" Lance asked. "It doesn't matter, we are almost to Jive so we might as well go there first. We can go to my house after." Steve said, he wanted to go home first cause he still felt that something was wrong, but he didn't say anything "OK, cool." Lance said. He pulled up in front of the building and put some money in the meter. They went to the doors and they were open. They headed for the elevators when a security guard stopped them from behind. "Sorry, this is not open to the public. I am going to have to ask you to leave." The security guard said. They both turned around to see a behemoth man standing in front of them. "Well I..." Steve started to say as he was interrupted by the security guard. "Sorry Mr. Bass, I didn't realize it was you. Have a great day." The security guard said as he went back to his business. "You know him?" Steve asked. "I have never seen him before." Lance said. "It must be the celebrity I guess." Steve said. "Oh come on dude, I am not the one people usually recognize. It's Josh and Justin and Joey cause of the hair. I get noticed still, just not as much as them." Lance said. "Maybe he is a closeted Lance fan. He has posters of you all over his wall." Steve said to Lance as the got on the elevator. "Dude, No, Just no. That would scare me, I mean he has the `I showered a few months ago' look." Lance said. "EWW. Dude that is nasty. He did have a slight odor though." Steve said. "Ha ha, that's great. A slight odor. I love it." Lance said. "Yeah, So do I, that's why I say it." Steve said as the elevator doors opened on the right floor. They headed to Steve's office and Steve unlocked the doors. "OK Lance. Where would the papers be?" Steve asked. "What's that on your desk?" Lance said trying to make Steve feel dumb. "It looks like 6 folders. Look, they even have names. Let's see...Why they are names from *N Sync, how weird!" Steve said "WOW. That is something." Lance responded as Steve picked a folder that said J. Bass. "OH MY GOD! LANCE IS RIGHT THERE! CAN I LIKE UHM HAVE YOUR UHM AUTOGRAPH LANCE???" Steve said handing Lance the papers from the folder and a pen. He said it like he was a 14 year old obsessed girl. "Oh why not!" Lance said taking the papers. Silence fell over them as they read what they had to sign. Steve broke the silence. "Are one of you gay?" Steve asked. "What?" Lance said a little shocked by the question. "Well it says here `Steven K. Porter is not to disclose the sexuality or sexual relations of any member of *N Sync. Violation of this will result in termination of position and legal action.' I know all that means is that I can't say one of you are gay or that one of you got laid last night. I had some legal classes." Steve said. "Oh ok." Was all Lance said, hoping Steve wouldn't dig any further. "Well are any of you?" Steve asked, making Lance a little pissed. "Are you Steve?" Lance asked in rebuttal. "We weren't talking about me, we were talking about you guys." Steve Continued equally angry. "But." "But what?" Lance asked. `If you must know, Yes I am gay." Steve said calmly. "Happy now?" Steve asked, Lance was a little oh we will just say 'shocked'. He was absolutely speechless. "I guess." Lance said. He was so confused right now. Perfect opportunity to tell him he thought. He hadn't told anyone else. Do I want Steve to be the first person to know. He will probly be the easiest considering he probly has been through the same thing. His thought were interrupted by Steve who was a bit pissed. "So, did I frighten you? You asked me a question and I gave you an honest answer and all you say is `I guess?'" Steve said to Lance in a pissy voice. He was sitting at his desk and only glanced up for the time it took to say his sentence then went back to signing papers. Silence fell over them. Steve broke it again. It was obvious Lance was a little well Steve didn't know what he was, he just wasn't normal at the moment. "I need you to sign these too as a witness." Steve said. There was a pause. "Steve?" Lance said quietly and a little nervously. "What Lance?" Steve asked as if he was annoyed. "Well fine, nevermind. It's obvious you don't want to hear what I have to say." Lance responded to Steve in a bitchy voice. "Oh Please Lance, don't be a bitch. You are acting like Kelli. Just say what the fuck you were gonna say. I am not in the mood for your shit." Steve said not looking up from his papers. "God Steve, I am gay, ok there, I am a flaming fag!. Now are you HAPPY?" Lance said getting up off the ground where he had been laying reading papers and signing them. Steve didn't look up. He kept looking at papers. Lance just stood there, finally Steve looked up at Lance. "Would you like a medal or something?" Steve said, he knew he was pissing off Lance. "What the fuck? You are the first person to know and you make a rude ass comment like that." Lance was disgusted. "Well what do you want? Sympathy?" Steve said. "I don't know what I want." Lance admitted. "I didn't think so. Look, I am here for you, I have been through the same thing. Girls are easier to tell then guys. Uhm, tell your mom before your dad. The guys are gonna need to know. Don't rush into anything with anyone. I dunno if any of them are but if they are and you like one of them don't start coming on to them right away." Steve said "Well thanks, and in response to your question earlier, none of them are gay. They all are extremely heterosexual, believe me. And I don't have feelings for any of them. That's just gross, they are like brothers." Lance said. "I understand. I am sorry for being pissy to you. I just need to get home. I dunno why. It's just bothering me. Do you feel better after getting it out?" Steve asked. "I do, I really do. Thank you. Hand me your papers so I can sign them. Will you sign mine?" Lance asked. "Sure." Steve said as they exchanged papers. After they finished signing them they put the papers in their respectable folders and left the building in silence. They got in the car and headed for Steve's. Steve went through Lance's CD's and put in the Savage Garden one. Lance thought it was ironic but he didn't think too much about it. As they pulled up to Steve's the song `crash and burn' came on. They shut off the car and and went inside. As they got in Lance followed Steve into the kitchen. "Somebody loves you!" Lance said as he saw 13 blink on the LCD on Steve's answering machine. "That's weird. I never have that many messages." Steve said a little worried. "Do you want me to go in the other room so you can listen to them?" Lance asked a little worried. "No, it's ok. Stay in here please." Steve said looking deeply into Lance's eyes. "OK Steve." Lance said standing about a foot from Steve. Steve pressed the play button. Lance could sense that Steve was upset. - "Message One. Hey Stevie Poo. It's kel, call me, bye babe." - "Message Two. Hey Stevie, It's mom, I was just thinkin about you. Hope everything is going great for you. Things are really good up here. Give me a call when you get a chance." "Your mom sounds awesome" Lance said "I love my mom, she is the best person in the world." Steve said. - "Message three. Steve, It's dad, call me as soon as you get this, it is very important." - "Message four. Steve, it's dad again, you still haven't called. I tried calling you cell phone and your work. call me." Lance could see the worried look on Steve's face. He hit the stop button on the answering machine. "Call him Steve." Lance said as he handed Steve the phone. `O.Ok." Steve said with a shaky voice. Lance wanted to just wrap his arm around him and make him feel better. He decided not to, he was afraid. He wanted to so badly. Steve dialed the number and put the phone to his ear. Lance stood by his side. - "Hi, dad?" - "Hi Steve." His dad said. He sounded as if he had been crying. - "What is wrong dad?" Steve asked, sounding paranoid. - "I don't know how to tell you son." - "Just tell me dad." sounding a little angry - "It's your mother. She, She." - "WHAT ABOUT MOM?" Steve yelled into the phone. - "She passed away in her sleep last night." Steves dad said starting to cry. - "She. she's dead?" Steve whispered as he broke down and started to cry. He collapsed and let go of the phone. Lance caught him but they both dropped to the ground. Lance wrapped his arms around Steve and held him. He was crying hard and it made Lance start as well. They sat there like that for a few minutes when Lance realized that Steve's dad was still on the phone. - Mr. Porter, are you there?" Lance asked as he cried. Steve was still crying as he had been when he first found out. - "Yes, I am, Who is this?" - "This is Lance, I am a friend of Steve. He is really upset right now. Can you please tell me the funeral arrangements?" - "Yes, but can you please comfort my son?" - "Yes, I am holding him right now." Lance said as he kissed the top of Steve's head. - "Thank you. Her funeral is Monday morning. There is viewing at the funeral home tomorrow from one to nine. I don't know how he is going to get up here though." His dad said. - "I will get us a flight up right away. Thank you Mr. Porter. I will see you soon." Lance said. - "Are you coming up?" He asked his crying had ceased a little. - "Yes, I am not gonna let him do this alone. But I think I should let you go so I can get a flight booked and get us to the airport. Sorry." - "It is ok. I will see you soon Lance. Thanks for being such a good friend to my son." Steve's dad said as he hung up the phone. Lance hung up the phone. Steve laid in Lance's arms. Lance was crying as well.
