MJ and I are having a blast writing this story and it's good to know that you readers out there are enjoying it just as much! Anyway, I'm gonna keep this short because I know that you want to get to the story. So, read the disclaimer and get right to it! Disclaimer: Yes! I DO own them! I use them around the house for decoration, menial chores and manual labor (except for Lance who is chained to Gabriella's bed, Chris who is filling in for Kat's foot stool, and Kevin who is Neto's new house boy)! If you want to know their actual sexualities... GET OVER IT! It's none of our damn business! Do not read this if: 1) You are too young to be doing so. 2) It is illegal to read this type of material in your area. 3) You are offended by homosexual material and/or situations. If none of the above applies to you, continue reading and enjoy the show! ------------------------------------------------------------------ Losing Control: Chapter 2 (Druid) After leaving the two stunned singers, Mat made her way back to her office. Sitting behind her desk, she removed her shoes and massaged her neck gently. Though she wasn't expecting it, the questioning voice in the room didn't surprise her in the least. "So hon, how did they take the news?" Turning slightly, she sighed, "Well I think it would have been worse had all but two of them been there." Quickly walking the length of the room, her companion leaned on her desk. "Only Kevin and Lance, huh?" Nodding her head, she responded, "Yeah. I'm so disappointed in them, Jared. They're all acting like a bunch of children!" Jared smirked, "Did you really expect any different, hon? I mean, we've heard the stories of how they act towards each other. It shouldn't have come as too much of a shock. Of course, since they ditched you, it's my turn with them now." "I know. I hope that you have something good planned because it's gonna take something special to get them all under one roof." Slowly pacing the room, Jared smiled, "Well, first, I'm going to call Kevin and Lance and tell them not to say anything to the others about the 'girl incident'." "Why?" she asked in confusion. "Because I'm giving them one last chance to choose to act like adults and get themselves here on their own. If they don't, let's just say that they aren't gonna like what happens," he laughed. Seeing the evil smirk on his face, Mat couldn't help but join in the laughter as Jared let her in on the whole plan. *************** Once again, Kevin and Lance were the one's to get the calls and again, neither was happy. The two tour managers managed to catch the men before they got back to their respective groups. They both understood the reasoning behind the request, but were annoyed at the 6 am meeting time. However, they promised to tell their band mates and try to get them to the meeting. After saying goodbye, Lance and Kevin weren't very hopeful about their chances of getting everyone to go. They were right to be doubtful. *************** When the two men called about 3 hours later to inform the tour managers that, again, the others refused to come, Mat told the two to come anyway to hash out some of the tour details. As she hung up, she shook her head in disgust. "Well Jared, looks like you get to have some fun in the morning," she told her partner wearily. "Just Kevin and Lance again, huh?" "Yep. The others are still refusing to be in the same room with each other." Standing up, he took her hand, "Well, don't you worry about a thing. By 6 o'clock tomorrow morning, every one of them is going to be in the conference room whether they like it or not!" Mat still couldn't believe that Jared was actually going to go through with this. *************** Justin Timberlake was awakened by a loud knocking at his front door. Glancing at his alarm clock with bleary eyes, he groaned at the time. Quickly getting out of bed and throwing on some clothes, he wearily trudged his way to the living room. Looking through the peephole, he was surprised to see Lonnie, his bodyguard, waiting for him on the other side. Opening the door, he glared at the man. "What are you doin' here, Lon? It's 5:30 in the fucking morning," he complained while yawning. Without word or preamble, Lonnie picked the singer up and tossed him over his shoulder. As he headed for the limo parked in front of the house, he ignored the irate and indignant swearing coming from his stubborn charge. Opening the limo door, he unceremoniously chucked his burden into the back seat before climbing in himself. After effectively restraining the boy by sitting on him, he told the driver to head off. The sound of Justin yelling could be heard the entire way. *************** All over town, the same thing was happening to every other member besides Lance and Kevin (who were already at the meeting). All of them put up a huge fight, but none were a match for the strength of their security. And so, amidst much screaming and cursing, all ten singers found themselves in a conference room together, handcuffed to their chairs. However, all complaining ceased as a large hand was pounded loudly on the table in front of them. "You can all shut the hell up right now!" snarled Jared, "You all had your chance to come here like adults, but you chose to do otherwise. Therefore, we do it my way now!" AJ was the first to recover from his surprise. "Who the hell do you think you are? You have no right to have us grabbed and brought here!" he yelled. Looking nonplussed, Jared simply asked, "Did I give you permission to speak?" Shocked silence reigned throughout the room. "That's better. As for what you asked, I don't *think* anything! My name is Jared and I KNOW that I'm your other tour manager! Also, you were brought here as you were this morning because you got the nice invitation yesterday from my partner Mat. She tried to be nice about it and when that didn't work, she turned the situation over to me. And believe me, I'm nowhere near as nice as she is!" Between the look on Jared's face and the tone of his voice, every single person in the room realized the same thing. This meeting wasn't going to be anywhere near pleasant... *************** Well, I hope that you liked the latest installment of Losing Control. I know that I liked writing it! :) Anyway, MJ and I would like to thank those readers out there who have written to us and let us know how we're doing with this story.
