Millennium Love Parts 11 & 12 - Scott

Author's Notes: Remember email is ALWAYS welcome!

As usual: All the text in BLACK is common, but the text in BLUE is unique to that character's story. So for those that only want to read what's different between the characters, now you can.

As Before: This story is a little different. For each section, you have a choice to read the story from the view point of one of the two main characters: the fictional Scott Waters or Brian Littrell. BUT: If you read the story from both view points you'll get the entire story, particularly when the characters are not together.

I apologize if I seem to be in a bit of a time warp, but the idea for the story came to me and it fit the time line (hence the story's name Millennium Love). The story starts in October 1998 and runs up to the new millennium. Also, if some events don't coincide with real events remember, it's only fiction!

Legalities: This story is fictitious. It is not meant to imply anything about any of the Backstreet Boys or anyone else. No, I am not Brian Littrell, or Scott Waters. If you're offended, go away. If you're curious, keep reading, you might like it ;-)

Thanks for reading.

Millennium Love Parts 11 & 12 - Scott

(Last time...)

About halfway there, I started playing the CD. I skipped forward to the last song. "Brian, would you tell me about this song?" I asked quietly. He listened to the music start and a peaceful smile crossed his face. "It's yours, isn't it?"

He nodded. "Yes. How'd you know?"

I shrugged. "As soon as I heard it, heard your voice, I just knew. The words sound like you, love, respect, gratitude."

He smiled over at me. "That's basically what it's about. Most people think it's about my heart problem and surviving the surgery. In part, I guess it is. But it's more than that. I realized that I was gay about a year after the band formed. I don't know if you can imagine what I felt like. My family is very religious and I was sure that they would turn their backs on me if they knew. So, I didn't tell anyone. For almost five years, I lived the lie everyone wanted. Eventually it started to eat at me. I became nervous, stressed out. I wasn't eating or sleeping properly. About a month before the surgery, I had a mini breakdown. I left the band and went home. Obviously, Mom knew something was wrong. Finally I told her."

Brian paused to take a deep breath. "I told her and waited for her to yell at me, throw me out. But I underestimated her." His smile returned. "She was surprised, and disappointed. But the first thing she said was 'Brian, I love you and I always will, no matter what.' It took a little while for her and my Dad to come to terms with it. But never once did they say, 'You're sick' or 'It's not natural.'" He looked over at me. "THAT'S what the song is really about. She continued to love me." I could see tears in his eyes but he was smiling. I reached over and took his hand. I held it for the rest of the drive.

Part 11

Before I pulled into the driveway, I knew we had some unexpected company. My parents have two cars, yet there were five cars in the driveway.

"Brian, I think some extra relatives showed up today." I said lightly. I would support him if he decided not to go in, but I hoped he would. He didn't disappoint me.

"Well," he said with a rueful grin, "that is what Thanksgiving is all about, right?"

I looked around quickly before pulling him forward and kissing him. "Thank you for telling me about your song, love," I said softly.

He smiled brightly, "I'm happy that you know. And that you like the song! Now, are we going to do this?" I nodded and got out.

Before we reached the front door, it opened and my four-year-old nephew came running out. "Uncle Scott, Uncle Scott!" He came running and I picked him up, tossing him in the air. He giggled and I laughed. I heard Brian laugh too.

"Wow Andre. I think you've grown another six inches since I last saw you," I said as I raised him over my head so he could sit on my shoulders. It had been over six months since I'd seen my nephew and his parents. We walked up the front steps. I brought Andre down before going through the door. He ran off to find his Dad.

Mom came out of the kitchen just as I was hanging up our jackets. "Scott, you made it!" She smiled, kissed my cheek, then turned to Brian. "You must be Brian. Welcome," she said and kissed his cheek too. I grinned at the look of surprise on his face.

"Mom, who all is here?" I asked when I caught her attention.

"Oh Charlie and Carrie, Sheri, your Dad, your Aunt Eve and Uncle Frank, Liz, Denis and Andre. Come on in to the living room and say `Hi' to everyone." She escorted us in where the family was. "Dinner will be in half an hour so make yourselves at home. There are some snacks on the sideboard if you're hungry." She turned and went back into the kitchen.

"Hi Scott," almost everyone said in unison. Then stopped as they noticed I had company.

"Hi everyone. This is my *friend* Brian Littrell. Brian, this is everyone." I went through the room introducing Brian to each member of my family. Sheri was busy doing her favorite pastime, taking pictures. I saw her do a `double-take'. She knew exactly who Brian was. I could sense Brian was nervous and wished I could give him a hug or kiss to reassure him. Then I thought, `Why not?' I knew that before dinner ended, my Mom would have figured it out, so why keep it a secret?

Once the introductions were done, I grabbed Brian's hand and pulled him into the hallway, ignoring the bewildered glances from my family. I leaned him against the wall, and gave him a kiss. Then I whispered, "the only thing they eat from Kentucky is fried chicken." Brian burst into laughter and I joined in, happy to see him relax a little. I took his hand and held it as we walked back into the room and over to the snack food. I took a plate and piled on the hors d'oeuvres, vegetable sticks, cheese (for Brian!) and crackers. We walked back over to the empty loveseat and sat down, sharing the plate.

"So," it was my big brother Charlie. "Brian, how long have you known Scott?" Nothing like delving right into the interrogation. I waited to hear Brian's response.

"It's going on forty-eight now," he said with a straight face. How did he do that?

My brother looked confused, and I noticed almost everyone else in the room stopped to listen. "Forty-eight? Forty-eight weeks?" Charlie asked.

Brian shook his head.

"Forty-eight days?" Carrie piped in.

Brian shook his head and I began to laugh. "Forty-eight hours, okay?" I said through the laughter. Brian grinned at me, then looked back at my brother. He wasn't laughing.

In all seriousness, Brian said, "I've known Scott since Friday, but it feels like we've known each other forever. I think Scott feels the same way?"

I looked at Charlie and said softly, "He's right Charlie. I don't know how to explain it to you, but our souls have always known each other, and it took fate to bring them together."

The look on Brian's face was incredible. His eyes were brimming, yet his face radiated love and joy. I leaned over and kissed his cheek.

I could see Charlie trying to digest what I had said. He'd always had more trouble understanding that I was gay. Sheri, on the other hand, had always been a great support to me. She came over and gave both Brian and I a kiss. "I'm happy for both of you," she said, and meant it.

I looked up and saw my Mom standing in the doorway. She had heard what I'd said and was smiling happily. I went over to her and gave her a big hug. "I could see it as soon as you walked in the door, Scott," she said.

I grinned. Then I remembered Brian. I turned back to the room, and got everyone's attention. "I have to ask everyone here to do Brian and I a favor." Everyone waited while I went back to the spot beside my love. "You can't tell anyone Brian's name." Everyone looked perplexed, except my sister, Sheri. I saw that she understood.

"Why?" my Aunt asked.

"Brian is in a music group. A very popular group that's known around the world," I explained. "No one, except his immediate family and bandmates know that he's gay. And now you all do too." I could tell what they were thinking, so continued. "I knew from the beginning what was involved. We can't go out in public as a couple. We'll be apart a lot of the time while Brian is on tour. But those are acceptable costs to me."

"Why?" Charlie asked. "Why is that kind of relationship acceptable to you Scott?"

I looked at him and said simply, "Because the only alternative is no relationship with Brian at all, and that is just not acceptable. In fact, it's incomprehensible." Now that I'd found him, life without Brian would not be living, it would only be existing in an empty void.

Brian took my hand and looked around the room. "We didn't plan this. I know what a nightmare my life is and I think Scott has had a glimpse into that." Brian decided to bare his soul. "I've never had a relationship before, then into my life walks this incredible man." I blushed at the look he gave me. "I know I'm asking a lot from him and from all of you. All I can ask is that you support us and give us a chance. I think we both deserve a chance at some happiness."

The room fell quiet for a moment. Then Charlie said, "if this makes you happy little brother, then I'll help anyway way I can." I stood up and hugged my brother. I knew he was going to be the toughest challenge and once he was on our side, everyone would follow.

Mom announced that dinner was ready and we all streamed into the dining room. It looked wonderful. A giant turkey sat on the huge, wooden harvest table, with all the trimming - stuffing, cabbage salad, potatoes and more. I took a seat beside Brian and Sheri sat on his other side. The table easily sat the twelve of us. We weren't an overly religious family, but we said grace at large family dinners and holiday dinners. After grace, it became a free-for-all. Everyone began passing and reaching for the food they wanted. Laughter, and `please and thank you' filled the air. I glanced at Brian and was happy to see him adapting to the chaos and taking part. He caught me watching him, and grinned. Once everyone had filled their plates, things calmed down.

Liz finally asked, "So Brian, how did you meet my *nerdy* little brother?" While there was almost ten years between Charlie and Liz, and sixteen years between Charlie and Sheri, Liz was only a year older than I was. Despite the fact that I towered above her, she always called me her little brother. The *nerdy* part began when we were in school and I always got better grades than she did.

"He almost ran me over," Brian said and I almost spit out my mouthful of food. Brian looked at me and continued, "But once I saw that mop of hair and those green eyes, I forgave him."

Part 12

"He almost ran me over," Brian said and I almost spit out my mouthful of food. Brian looked at me and continued, "But once I saw that mop of hair and those green eyes, I forgave him."

I finished chewing and interrupted, "That's not quite how it happened." Everyone turned their attention to me. "It was hardly my fault that I almost ran you over, you were the one running through the streets of Toronto. Not only did he make me rescue him; but he also made me drive him all over the city. How's that for gratitude?"

We were both enjoying the story, until my exasperated father said, "What are you two talking about?" Brian and I laughed. He then proceeded to tell the real story of how we met, leaving out a few of the more intimate details.

Dinner was quickly devoured. Everyone helped clear the table to make room for coffee and dessert. We decided to sit for a while before attacking the apple pies, cheesecake and brownies. Brian sat down in a chair and I sat on the floor between his legs, leaning back against him. Sheri sat down beside us.

"Can I ask you something Brian?" she asked. I was amazed at how calm she was because I knew she liked the Backstreet Boys. (Fortunately, Nick was her favorite!)

"Sure, Sheri," Brian said with a brilliant smile that could melt snow in Alaska in January.

"Um, are any of the other guys gay too?" she asked as she blushed a little in embarrassment.

I reached back and pulled Brian's head close to mine. "I think she's asking about Nicky, love," I whispered.

"Oh!" he said, before answering my sister's question. "No. I'm the only one." Then he grinned. "Fortunately for me, or else I may have had some competition for this one," he patted my head.

I laughed. "Not a chance, love. It wouldn't matter if they were all after me. I got the one I wanted." I rolled my head back and Brian gave me a kiss.

I heard Sheri. "Awe, that's sweet. Could I take a picture of you two?"

I looked back at Brian.

He looked at Sheri. "Where do you get the pictures developed, Sheri?" he asked.

"Oh I do that myself. I have a darkroom set up in my apartment in New York," she replied, then realized why Brian was asking. "What if I develop the picture, send you each a copy, then destroy the negative? That way you guys can remember today, but no one else will know."

Brian nodded and Sheri grabbed her camera. We remained sitting where we were as she took a couple of shots, then sat down beside me again.

I just leaned back and relaxed as Sheri and Brian began talking. Brian asked where she was going to school and what she was taking. She was the talented one of the family, attending school in New York, taking performance arts and communications.

I was almost asleep when Brian got up, replacing the leg I was leaning against with a pillow. He went into the kitchen where Liz and my Mom were making coffee and putting dishes in the dishwasher.

While Brian was in the kitchen talking to Liz and my Mom, Sheri sat down on the floor beside me. She elbowed me in the side.

"Ow!" I said and opened my eyes to look at her.

"Scott, you do realize that *Brian T. Littrell* is standing in our kitchen talking to our Mother?"

"Yes, Sheri, I realize it." I laughed at the expression on her face. "I know its almost surreal, sis. But once you get to know him, and the other guys, it doesn't seem so strange. All five of them are just normal, down-to-earth guys, who happen to have their faces known around the world."

"So you've met the others?" she asked excitedly.

"Yes, I met Nick, Sheri." She blushed.

Brian had overheard our conversation, and came to sit down. "You know Sheri, sometime when your brother here is flying out to spend a weekend, you should come along," Brian said. I saw Sheri's eyes light up.

"Really?"

"Sure. You can keep Frack occupied while I spend some time with my Angel," he said, leaning down and wrapping his arms around my neck.

"Who's Frack?" Denis asked from across the room.

"He's another band member, Nick Carter. The others call us Frick and Frack. Nick was only thirteen when the band was formed and we became best friends. He's like my little brother," Brian explained.

"I don't think I caught the name of your band, Brian," Denis said.

"We're called the Backstreet Boys, Denis." Liz began to cough.

"Lizzie, you okay?" I asked from my seat on the floor.

She looked at me and smiled. "I'm fine Scotty. I just didn't realize who Brian was until now. I can understand why you didn't want anyone telling his name."

"Thanks Liz."

"Dessert and coffee are ready for whoever wants it," she announced.

Poor Brian was left in our dust. In my family, my sister-in-law Carrie makes *the* best apple pie in the world. So when dessert is announced, it becomes a mad dash to get to the pie. I managed to get there first and cut a huge slice before grabbing a cup of coffee and the lone cup of tea. I made my way back to Brian with a grin on my face. He was looking at me as if I was crazy. Before he could say anything, I took a forkful of pie and fed it to him. The look on his face was enough.

"Now you understand?" I asked as I sat down on the floor again.

"Wow! Don't ever tell my Mom but that's even better than her pie."

"Thank You," Carrie said from across the room.

"You're welcome," Brian smiled before stealing the fork and another mouthful of pie.

We stayed at my parents' home until about eight just enjoying the company. Sheri, Liz and her family, and my Aunt and Uncle were staying over night. Once Andre went to bed, I caught Brian's attention and nodded in the direction of the door. He grinned and I stood up.

"Well, I think we're going to go now Mom, Dad. Brian has a plane to catch tomorrow."

I shook hands, kissed everyone, and waited while Brian did the same. At the door Brian turned. "Thank you all for making me feel a part of your family. It meant a lot." Brian smiled and my Mom came over.

She took Brian's face, "Brian, you come back anytime, okay?" He nodded.

Once on the road Brian reached over and took my hand. Nothing needed to be said. We just enjoyed being together. I didn't even want to think about tomorrow when he would have to leave.

*******************************

When we reached the house and parked the car, I just sat there, suddenly overwhelmed by my feelings and the fear of losing Brian. He watched me for a minute then got out, walking around to the driver's side. He opened my door and pulled me out, wrapping his muscled arms around me. We walked into the house. Brian kept me walking right into the bedroom. He sat me down on the bed and pulled off my shoes, then my shirt. He pushed me back onto the pillows then took off his own shoes and shirt. Brian crawled up on the bed beside me, taking me into his arms. I wrapped myself in him, holding on, memorizing his scent, his heartbeat, and the texture of his skin beneath me.

Lying like that, I eventually began to think of other things, such as a promise Brian had made earlier in the afternoon. I opened my eyes and began nibbling on the beautiful skin beneath my mouth.

"Mmm, feeling better angel?" Brian murmured, running his hand down my back. A tremor went through me.

Lifting my head, I looked up into those amazing clear blue eyes. "I was thinking about a promise someone made earlier today," I said mischievously. Brian blushed. Then he made a decision.

He rolled me over onto my back. "A promise is a promise," he whispered as he lowered his lips to mine. This kiss felt different. I could sense more confidence and passion. His tongue darted into my mouth finding my soft spot, the inner edge of my lips. I let Brian have control, responding to his touch but not initiating anything. As he had earlier, Brian began to move slowly down my chest. He lightly flicked my nipple with his tongue, sending shivers through me, before gently grabbing it between his teeth. I'd already discovered that I could get hard just looking at this sexy man, so the sensation of his touch and kisses was electrifying me. Brian licked his way across my chest finding the other nipple. While his mouth was busy, his hands began to investigate. He found the button and zipper on my pants and undid them without ever lifting his head.

His mouth moved down to my belly as his hand began pushing down my pants. I raised my hips and the pants slid to my knees. I used my feet to kick them off. Brian continued kissing as he moved downward. When he kissed my completely erect member through my boxers, it leapt at his touch.

"Oh yeah, Brian love," I murmured in encouragement. Those succulent lips were working hard, sucking and licking through the material. I could feel a wetness as precum soaked through the silk. I looked down at the golden haired godling giving me so much pleasure. God, how I loved him.

His hands found the waist of my boxers and pulled down, freeing my raging cock. He looked at it before looking into my eyes. "I do that to you?" he asked softly in awe.

All I could do was smile and nod. He returned his sensuous lips to my cock, gently kissing it from top to bottom, down one side and up the other. The love I was feeling for Brian made ever touch twice as erotic to me. I closed my eyes and just felt.

I felt him pull my penis forward so he could reach my filled balls. He took them in his mouth and my body went into spasms. I began to grind my hips. I wanted Brian to free my from this tension that was building, higher than I've ever been before.

While his lips continued sucking and licking my balls, his fingers ran beneath me, along the crack between my ass cheeks. The tip of his finger brushed past my hole causing me to buck upwards. Having found this new sense center, Brian repeated the motion, keeping his finger there a little longer. I knew I was approaching orgasm, Brian moved his mouth to my cock, swallowing the head.

"Oh, god Brian, I'm going to cum," I whispered hoarsely. For someone who had never done it before, Brian sucked like a pro. Not used to having such a large object in his mouth, he swallowed what he could before pulling back and running his tongue across the head. His hand continued working near my ass.

Suddenly my entire body went rigid and I began shooting streams of cum into that incredible sucking mouth. Just as I began to cum, Brian inserted a finger in my ass.

I cried out Brian's name as stream after stream flowed down Brian's eager throat. He swallowed every drop. I had never had an orgasm like that before. When my body finally had nothing left to give him, Brian gently released my softening cock and began to kiss his way up my tingling body. All I could do was lie on the bed, completely spent.

Brian worked all the way up to my ear. "So, did *I* give *you* pleasure, my angel?" he whispered.

I rolled my head to look at my love. I smiled broadly. "I love you Brian," I said, no longer trying to deny what I felt for this remarkable man.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around me. "I love you too, Scott," he said softly.

We each held the other part of our soul as we drifted into slumber.
