My Kinda Guy
A Love To Remember
Chapter -- 16, Part A
by JT Poole and Nicole Brown

Jan 30 -- Washington, D.C. -- Essence Hotel -- The Main Suite

It's a little bit after four in the morning and I'm tired as hell.  I must admit that I enjoyed having fun with Nick and Justin tonight.  I had fun and all, but the way I feel right now, I'm sure I'm going to need a lot of rest to recover from this meeting.  I bet my hips are going to remember Nick's ass for a few days and Justin's mouth the rest of the day and tonight.  Those two together are a dangerous duo.  I don't think there's nothing sexual they can't do. Damn, thank you God for giving those two skills.

"Good morning," I say, kissing Nick on the mouth as he pats my ass and takes Justin's hand.  "I'll see you two tomorrow sometime."

"Right," Nick says, shaking his head.  "We're sleeping in.  It's an off day and we have nothing to do."

"Oh well, I'll see you when I see you then," I tell him as Kevin wraps his arms around me and we walk towards the boy's room, opening the door to look in on them as they were sleeping in the same bed again.

Smiling at me, Kevin walks into the room and turns on the light and leans down and kisses Toby and Jaken on the forehead, pulling the covers up over them and walking out of the room.  Turning the light back off, he kisses me and we walk into our room.  Pulling off his clothes, he sighs and sits down on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong Kevin?"  I ask him as he pulls me down on the bed next to him.

"Are you really okay baby?  Justin went into details about what Toby put you through at the airport.  If you can't handle this...," he tells me as I cover his lips with my fingers.

"I must admit that Toby is a little bit harder to handle right now, but I'm sure after he gets use to us and our schedules, things will fall into place," I tell him as he shakes his head.  "Don't shake your head at me Kevin."

"Baby from what Justin told me, you were close to tears or something," he tells me as I look down quickly.

"I was close to tears.  I didn't know what to do to calm him down.  If it wasn't for Nikki taking him, he probably would have caused an even bigger scene," I tell him as he just wraps his arms around me.

"Baby...," he says as I lean in and kiss him passionately as he pulls my shirt over my head.  "I love you John Poole Richardson."

"I love you too Kevin Richardson Poole," I tell him as we sat there on the bed making out.  "I think we've had a long night of this."

"Yes we have.  Why don't we get to bed," he says as he stands up, pulling me up with him.  "Why don't we go sleep with the boys?  Make sure we're the first thing they see when they wake up.  That should help assure Toby and Jaken that we'll be here for them."

"Sounds like a good idea," I tell him as we change into our pajama bottoms and head over to their room and climb into bed with them, hugging them in between the two of us.

Down in Howie's Room

I woke up with a warm body next to mine and for a split second I thought it was Joe in bed with me until the person moved and I remembered who was there with me. I looked down at Nikki sleeping peacefully, her hand resting over her baby, and my heart did a strange little flip-flop. It's not that I'm not happy I finally got to have her that way, but what's this gonna mean for all of us? Will she keep her word and let me have her whenever I want, or was that simply talk?

Just then, she moaned in her sleep, one hand reaching for and finding mine. She sighed then, a small smile playing over her lips as she moved closer to me again. My arms tightened around her instinctively, and even though I know that this might be the only time I'll get to do this, I can't help wishing that this was the first of many such mornings for us. I can't help kissing her forehead softly as I caress her hair, pushing a stray curl away from her forehead. She buried her face in my chest, purring like a cat as she stretches and opens one eye, looking up at me with a smile.

"Mornin' sunshine," she whispered her voice husky from sleeping. "Did you sleep ok?"

"Yes I did," I replied, kissing her gently. "I take it you slept well too."

"Yeah... I did," she said with a grin as she stretched again. "Last night was incredible Josh. I'm glad we did this... even if you never want to do it again, it was worth it."

"Why wouldn't I want to do it again Nikki?" I asked, shocked that she'd voiced what was in my heart. "I don't want to loose you now that I'm a part of your life this way. I... I think I'm in love with you too, and I want the chance to see what could develop between us."

"Are you sure that's what you want?" she asked with a worried frown. She leaned on one elbow, looking down at me. "JC, I don't want to get all involved with you and start loving you only to loose you because your jealousy and insecurity get the better of you. I can't go through that with you—especially now that you're with me. Did Tony ever tell you about why he and I could never let go of each other?"

"NO—but then I never really asked," I replied, playing with her hair. "All I cared about was that you weren't with me that way too."

"Oh," she said softly, her face turning bright red in embarrassment. I pulled her down to me, kissing her softly as I caressed her face. "I think you need to understand some things about my relationship with him. He was my very first everything, and when I say everything, I mean everything. He would sneak into my bedroom window and we would sit and talk about our dreams all night long. When my father died, he sat and held me when I would cry at night, and then he went to the funeral with me and held my hand."

She paused to let that sink in before continuing. "When my mother kicked me out, he begged Phyllis to take me in so I wouldn't have to move to Texas to live with my father's family. Then he held me and cried every time I would end up in the hospital after Michael beat me. Even though I was married, it seemed so natural for us to be making love because he and I never had any closure on our relationship—at least I don't think we did. I've loved him for so long that I don't know how not to love him."

"I understand Nikki... I do," I said softly, pulling her to me and kissing her hard and deep. When I released her, she sighed. "I promise not to try to break apart what you guys have as long as you give me a chance to love you too."

"You have your chance now Josh," she stated, smiling now as she traced circles on my chest before her face clouded over and her eyes filled with tears. "But you need to know that when I love someone, I love with all my heart and soul. I can't risk letting you in only to loose you if you decide to try to kill yourself again. I—I don't think my heart could stand that... and I know it would kill Tony."

"I know... I know," I said, pulling her to me and rocking her gently as the radio played softly in the background. "I never thought about how much it would hurt everybody around me when I tried to kill myself. I promise I won't do that again."

"Okay," she said her voice soft in the suddenly quiet room. She looked at me, her eyes shining in the dim light from the streetlights outside. "If you're really serious about what you said, I know a perfect place to start getting to know each other."

"And where might that be?" I asked, full of curiosity about what she had in mind. Her eyes were shining with mischief, so I knew she was up to no good, but I decided to just go with it if it meant I could spend time with her. "Uh oh... you're up to something."

"No I'm not," she said sweetly, trying but failing to look innocent. I cocked an eyebrow, smirking at her now because I knew she was fibbing big time. "Seriously, I'm being good, so stop looking at me like that!"

"Methinks the lady doth protest too much," I stated, pulling her back to me when she tried to get out of the bed.

She grinned up at me, her eyes dancing in the lamp light. I tickled her sides, grinning when she shrieked and tried to evade me, but I caught her arms and pulled her back under me, kissing her again. I felt something sliding up my back and I jumped when she began tickling me too. We went back and forth for a few minutes, kissing and laughing until she finally said `UNCLE', which made me puff out my chest.

"The winner and still the champ: JC Chasez!" I exclaimed, raising my arms and posing. She snorted, still struggling to contain her laughter. "Admit it, I am the man!"

"Uh huh," she said, pushing her hair back and looking over at the clock. "Shit! I had no idea it was after four in the morning! I guess we'd better get those two up and get back upstairs before people notice we're missing."

"In a minute," I said as I pulled her close to me again, nuzzling her with my nose. "What did you have in mind for us to do today?"

"I was wondering if you'd like to be my date today when I take the boys to the zoo?" she said, ducking her head. "I know it's not what you had in mind, but it would be a great chance for you to spend time with me and the boys and..."

"You don't have to sell me on it Nikki—I'd love to go," I stated, kissing her again as I threw the sheets back, standing and stretching before going on a hunt for my clothes. "I've missed spending time with the boys, so this is gonna be fun for me. You might wanna get up and get dressed too so we can get back."

"I will in a minute... I wanna enjoy the view first," she said, lying back and relaxing against the pillows.

I could feel her eyes on me, but I didn't say anything as I found my things, her dress and underwear, laying it on the chair next to the bed as I went back over to sit down next to her so I could get dressed. I jumped and then shivered when I felt her fingers skate across my back, turning to capture her lips one last time before letting go reluctantly.

"I guess we'd better wake up tweedle dee and tweedle dum huh?" she asked between kisses. I shrugged, getting up and handing over her dress and underwear. She crawled out of the warm cocoon of sheets, stretching and yawning as she pulled her dress over her head and adjusted it before turning her back to me. "Would you zip this for me?"

I slid the zipper up, trailing kisses over her shoulders. Something caught my attention and I spun her around so I could see better, gasping in horror at the jagged, raised scars on her back. Nikki heard me and I'm guessing she remembered the scars because she tried to pull away from me, but my grip was stronger than she thought. I held her still, pushing the straps off her shoulders to reveal the extent of the damage and my eyes filled with tears of rage.

"Let go of me Josh!" she hissed, pulling against my grip on her arm as she tried to cover herself, but I held her still, tracing the scars for their entire length before my eyes met hers. Her eyes were shining with defiance, mine with sorrow and rage as I realized who had done this to her when I made out the initials `MDV' carved out in jagged lines down her spine.

"He's lucky he's dead or else I'd have to kill him for hurting you like this," I said calmly. Her expression turned from one of embarrassment to one of gratitude as I held her close to me. "You are so much stronger than I could ever have been."

"I'm not strong... I was just lucky to have people who cared about me to help me get out of that situation," she stated, smiling as she moved to pick up D's clothes. "Now, help me wake these two up so we can get back upstairs."

I went to Joey's side of the bed, watching him and Howie sleeping so soundly in each other's arms. They look so happy together... like nothing could ever come between them. I feel just a tiny jab of jealousy until I look at Nikki standing across from me, shaking Howie gently. That this woman could love me amazes me. She's wrong when she says she isn't strong. She's the strongest person I know, and now I know that I have to get better for her.

"Hey sleepyheads—time to wake up," she says, shaking the bed now. Joey grumbles something and turns over, muttering about needing about two more hours. Howie opens one eye and looks up at her, putting one arm out and pulling her down onto the bed with him. "Come on D, we gotta get back upstairs. Get up lazy bones."

"No wanna get up... wanna cuddle," he murmured, kissing her soundly before he noticed me standing there watching them with a grin. "Hey C. Are you okay with me and Joey?"

"Yeah... I'm okay," I replied, tickling Joe to get him to wake up. "Are you okay with me and Nikki?"

"Oh yeah," he replied, kissing her again as Joe finally came awake and kissed her too. "Come on Joe Bear, it's after 4, so we need to get back upstairs before the boys wake up."

"I'm awake," he grumbled, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and looking at Howie and Nikki. "Did you have a good time last night?"

"Hell yeah I did," she replied cheekily, grinning up at me. "Your husband is absolutely amazing, and I have to say he did me so right."

"Yeah I saw," Joe snapped, tossing back the covers and grabbing his clothes. "Let's get back upstairs. I need more sleep and I'm not..."

"Tony, what's wrong?" Nikki asked, watching him closely. He faced her, their battle of wills going on for a good minute before he sighed.

"I'm just wondering why it was that he could go so long with you last night," Joe said petulantly. Nikki looked across at me, fighting a smile as Howie got out of bed and dressed. "Don't laugh Kick! I'm serious! He's never gone that long with me before!"

"That's because he was trying to show me what he could do to me," she said calmly, giggling when Howie slipped his arms around her from behind and kissed her neck. "When a man gets something he's been wanting for a while, he can go a long time because it's something new to him. Now that the new pussy thrill has worn off, I'll be lucky if I get a good 10 minutes out of him the next time."

"HEY!" I snapped, frowning at the look of pure devilment in her eyes. "You think I can only go for 10 minutes?"

"I'm pretty sure of it," she stated cockily, not backing down from me. "Most guys can only go about that long—well, with the exception of D and Tony that is. So you're gonna have to prove to me that you can hang now."

"You don't think I can hang?" I asked skeptically, smirking as I looked at Joe. "You need to hip our girl about my skills husband of mine."

"Nikki, I meant that he'd never gone an hour with me," he stated, his eyes burning into mine as he reached for me. His arms came around my waist, hugging me close to him. "Trust me baby, he can go a lot longer than 10 minutes every time."

"We shall see," she stated, picking her purse up off the table and breezing out the door, stopping only to wait for the elevators to come. Once we were inside, she leaned over and said, "D, JC's gonna come with me to the zoo so you can sleep in today if you want."

"Thank goodness," Howie said, sounding relieved as he slumped into the wall. "I don't think I could do all that walking after the fucking Joe gave me last night."

Nikki looked shocked for a second and then began snickering. She leaned back against the elevator wall, resting her head against it as she said, "I don't know about the rest of you, but damn I'm tired! I could use a nice hot bath and about ten more hours of sleep."

"Amen baby," I said softly, moving over to her. Her eyes didn't open but she did smile when she heard me say `baby'. "How about we share a shower when we get to the suite?"

"You're on cowboy," she replied, pulling me down and kissing me again. "Let's see if you can go longer than those 10 minutes now."

When we got to the suite, Joe and D went into what was supposed to be our room and collapsed into bed together. Nikki and I went to her room where she stripped down to her panties again, looking at me over her shoulder from the door to the bathroom with so much lust in her eyes that my dick was hard enough to cut glass.

"You coming?" she asked, her eyes flashing fire as she waited.

I got naked in record time, joining her in the shower where we made love for quite a bit longer than the desired 10 minutes. Once we were done, we came out and crawled into bed together, but not until she'd checked on the boys. As we settled down, she yawned widely resting her head on my chest.

"You know they're gonna be up around 8 or so right" she asked sleepily. I nodded, cuddling closer to her.

"Well, I guess we'd better sleep as much as we can before they do," I replied, but she was already asleep.

I kissed her tenderly, enjoying the way her body molded itself to mine. I held her close to me, awestruck at just how quickly my life had changed in the last 48 hours. Just yesterday I was depressed and angry because I never thought Nikki would want me like I wanted her, and now I'm lying here with her in my arms.

If this is a dream, I never want to wake up, I thought as I drifted off to sleep.

Reagan National Airport

Johnny Wright's POV

It's almost eight and I'm still tired.  I guess with all the things that have happened lately, I've neglected getting enough sleep.  Hell with that crap going on with the Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake's reputations, I'm doing more work with trying to keep their lives in order, when I should be worrying about myself.  It's not my fault that their careers are hanging on by a thread.  When I get my hands on them, I'm going to line their asses up and Stooge slap them.

It's too early in the morning for me to be thinking about that kind of stuff, but those boys bring out my bad side.  All of this stress because they let a party in a New York City hotel get out of hand.  Why me Lord?  Haven't I suffered enough because of them already?  Between lining up press conferences to deal with this problem and trying to keep people away from their personal lives, I've spent more time with them than I have hanging around my own family.  I don't think I'm too demanding and I don't believe I ask for too much of these guys.  Where did I go wrong?

"The Essence Hotel please," I say to the taxi driver as we sped off to my destination.

I should go and check into my room and rest a bit first, but my gut is telling me to go right to them and commence the ass chewing.  When I get to the hotel, I'll make up my mind then.  Right now, I'll just admire the scenery.  Hopefully this will take my mind off of the broken damn bed, the holes in the walls and the mysterious stains on the walls and floors.

A Little After 8 AM

I'm still so tired.  I need some more sleep, but for some strange reason, something has awakened me.  I was in dreamland enjoying myself on a private beach with nobody around to bother me.  Now all of a sudden, I feel like I'm sitting on the washing machine during the spin cycle and the clothes are unbalanced.  What in the hell is that bouncy, shaky feeling I'm experiencing right now?  We so better be in the middle of an earthquake or someone has some explaining to do.

"Jaytee," Jaken says, jumping up and down on the bed.  "Wake up Jaytee, wake up!"

Oh yeah, now I remember.  Kevin and I decided to crawl into bed with the boys and sleep with them.  The idea was for them to see us first thing to assure them that we would be here for them.  Now that I think about it now, I wonder what the hell I was thinking.

"Kevin!  Kevin, wake up!"  Toby shouts at the top of his lungs, lying on top of Kevin's chest laughing and playing around.

"Ughhhh," I say, rolling over as Jaken wraps himself around my neck, holding on as I sit up in bed.

"Kevin!  Wake up Kevin!"  Toby shouts, trying to tickle Kevin, the little boy's small fingers, causing Kevin to wiggle around.

"Stop it," Kevin says, laughing as Toby held on to him as Kevin continued to wiggle around.

"Jake buddy let go," I say as he starts laughing and starts tickling me too.

"We got the both of you now," Jaken says as I grab him and hold him in my arms as I start tickling him as someone knocks on the door.  "Come in."

"Is everything alright in here?"  Tyler asks me, standing in the doorway in his robe.

"Yes Tyler.  Everything's okay.  It seems the boys were in the mood for playing," I tell him as he smiles and walks out of the room.

"Jaytee I'm hungry," Jaken tells me as I stop tickling him and let him up.

"Oh yeah? What do you want to eat buddy?"  I ask him.

"What can I get?"  He asks, smiling up at me.

"Well I know I'm going to get some grits, eggs, bacon and toast.  Would you like that too?"  I ask him as he smiles.

"What about you little man?"  Kevin asks Toby as he just shakes his head no.

"Not hungry," he says as Kevin looks at him funny.

"I don't believe that Tob-meister," Kevin says, tickling his stomach. "I know you are hungry.  You haven't had anything since last night."

"Okay I'm hungry.  I want Lucky Charms ™ and a toy," he tells Kevin as I start laughing.

"You can have Lucky Charms™ today, but I don't think there's a toy involved," I tell him as he looks at me and frowns.  "Don't look at me like that.  Pouting doesn't get Kevin what he wants and it's not going to get you what you want."

"Believe me, he's telling the truth Toby," Kevin tells him as he smiles.

"I want a toy," he says, still pouting.

"If you be a good boy, maybe you'll get a toy later on today," I tell him as he folds his arms across his chest.  "Toby, stop that.  Unfold your arms right now."

"No," he says, turning away from me.

"Toby..." Kevin starts, but I interrupt him.

"No Kevin, be quiet," I tell him, getting up from the bed and walking around to the other side.  "Move out the way Kevin."

"Baby what..."  Kevin starts again, as I push him out of the way.  "Baby?"

"Toby unfold your arms right now," I tell him as he looks up at me, a few tears escaping the corners of his eyes as Kevin and Jaken watch me.  "I'm not kidding young man! Unfold your arms right now."

"Okay," he says, looking at me.

"Now apologize for misbehaving," I tell him as he looks down and then he looks at Kevin.  "Don't be looking at Kevin. This is between me and you, not you and him."

"I'm sorry Jaytee," he says, looking down at the bed.

"Now give me a hug and let's go order breakfast," I tell him as he hugs me and the four of us walk out of the room.

Kevin's POV

Oh God, I thought JT was going off the deep end there for a second.  I actually thought he was loosing it and was about to beat us all.  I'm glad that he stopped me from what I was doing.  I see now that I was feeding Toby's lil mean streak.  Now that he's put his foot down like that, I'm sure we can have a nice and clam breakfast, unlike yesterday's.

Walking over to the sofa and placing Jaken down next to Toby, I sit down on the other side of them and pick up the phone.  Dialing the room service number, I wait for someone to answer.

"Good morning, I would like to place an order," I say, smiling at the boys.  "I would like to have a breakfast bar set up in the Backstreet Boys suite.  Could you make sure there are some scrambled eggs, grits, pancakes and assorted breakfast meats?  Yes that sounds good.  Oh yeah, could I also get a box of Lucky Charms™ cereal too?  That would be good.  Thank you...oh yes that sounds lovely."

"Sounds like you're ordering the whole kitchen," JT says, smiling as he opens the mini fridge, rummaging around for something in it.

"Could I also get orange juice, milk and a carafe of coffee please?" I ask, pointing at each of the boys, tickling them as they giggled next to each other.  "Yes that will be all.  Thank you very much ma'am."

"So how long do we have to wait?"  JT asks me as he sits down with a bottle of water and his laptop.

"No longer than twenty minutes baby," I tell him as the computer boots up and he starts typing.  "Baby what are you doing?"

"I have to review some employee files for the company," he tells me as I look at him strangely.

"Baby you said Sunday was family together day," I tell him as he looks at me, raising one eye.

"What does that have to do with me doing this?"  He asks me, looking over the top of the computer.

"Baby you said you would devote all of your time to family things on Sundays," I tell him as he turns his attention back to what he was typing.

"I'm out here with you and the boys Kevin," he tells me as he smiles and then looks back down again.  "This shouldn't take me long at all."

"Well okay, but be warned.  If you get buried in your work, me and the boys will dig you out," I tell him as he looks up again to see me and the boys wiggling our fingers at him.

"I don't think so you three.  Try it and I will bite your fingers.  You know I'm hungry anyway," I tell him as he starts laughing.  "Laugh all you want, but I'm starving.  Hasn't it been twenty minutes already?"

"No baby, it's only been about fifteen," I tell him as he frowns.  "If you need something to fill you up, I can always give you a quick meal."

"Hey, hey, hey, young ears in the room," I tell him as he shakes his head at me.

"Oh stop it," I tell him as he glares at me.  "All I said was quick meal."

"Yeah okay Mr. Richardson, don't make me pop you," he tells me as someone knocks at the door.  "Finally we get some food."

"I'll get it mista worka man," I tell him as he sticks his tongue out at me as I walk towards the door.

"Alright you two, let's go get washed up," JT tells the boys as he places the laptop on the table and the three of them get up and walk towards bedrooms as I open the door allowing the person to come in with the food cart..

"Mmmm, that smells good," I say as the first young man smiles up at me, wheeling a cart into the room as two more people walk in behind him as they all get to work setting things up on the tables.

"Okay boys take a seat at the table," JT tells them as they come running into the room and sits down at the table next to each other.

"Lucky Charms™, Lucky Charms™!"  Toby screams excitedly at the top of his lungs as JT walks over to him and the young man standing next to the serving cart places the box of cereal on the table.

"Toby, calm down," JT tells him as Toby crosses his arms again and JT rolls his eyes.  "Boy you better uncross those arms."

"I'm sorry Jaytee," Toby says, uncrossing his arms and sitting in the chair straight as JT takes a bowl off the cart and pours him a bowl of cereal as I hand a small plate of food too Jaken.

"Is that enough for you Jake?"  I ask him as he smiles at me and bow his head.  "Baby what all do you want?"

"I want the whole sha-bang," he tells me as I start loading his plate up.  "Make sure I get a lot of bacon.  Don't be stingy with the grits eitha playa."

"Alright you greedy joker," I tell him as I hand him a plate, he looks at me and hands it back.

"Do I look like I'm on a diet?"  He asks me as I place more items on his plate.

"They way you're eating, makes me think you're knocked up or something," I tell him as he smiles and starts giggling at me.

"If I was knocked, it would be your fault," he tells me as I hand him the plate again, this time he sits down.  "Let's get this show on the road."

Nikki & JC's Room

A foot kicking me woke me out of a pretty sound sleep. I reached across the bed in search of Nikki, but her pillow was cold, indicating that she had been up for awhile. When the little foot connected with my shin again, I opened my eyes and came face to face with one of the twins, who sat watching me in avid curiosity.

"`Ewwo," he said softly, grinning around the fingers that were firmly in his mouth. "Way up now!"

I reached out to touch him, but he scampered away from me, running over to where Nikki sat putting my namesake's shoe on. She kissed his head, pushing his curls back as she looked over at me.

"I see CJ succeeded in waking you up," she said brightly, coming over to kiss me on the cheek. "Time to get up and showered if you're still coming with us."

"Okay," I said, getting up and going over to where she sat holding CJ. I knelt down in front of her, smiling at CJ. "Hey CJ... do you remember me?"

He stared at me for a second and then looked back at Nikki like he was waiting for her permission. At first I didn't understand, but when she nodded, he reached out and touched my face, fingering my mouth as he started to sing to me like I had to him and his little brother on many occasions when I baby sat them.

You are my sunsine, my only sunsine

You make me `appy when sies are gway

You never know dea', `ow muss i love you

Pease no take ta sunsine away.

"Hey baby boy," I said softly, holding my arms out to him. He looked back at Nikki again and then came to me, hugging me tight for a minute before he pulled away and looked at me again.

"I see Dada?" he asked, looking back and forth between me and Nikki. I could see the tears in her eyes, but I thought it would be best to take the boys to Joe and D before I commented on it.

"I'll take you to your daddy right now," I said, standing and holding out a hand to both of the twins. They walked out into the hall with me, talking excitedly while I knocked on the door and stuck my head inside. "Are you guys decent? You're about to have company."

They boys flew into the room, jumping onto the bed and attacking the two of them, their voices excited as they discussed their impending day out with their mommy and me. I went back to the room I'd shared with Nikki; concerned that something was wrong but my fears were proved unfounded when she flew into my arms and covered my face with kisses.

"You got him to hug you!" she said over and over, holding on to me for dear life. She held my face in her hands, kissing me long and deep. "You're the first man besides JT, Tony and D that CJ has willingly touched since he came home! Thank you so much Josh."

"You're welcome," I whispered, kissing her one last time before I went to get some clothes to wear. "You'd better go call for a breakfast cart for everybody so we can be leaving."

"Ok," she said, smiling as she walked out into the living room of the suite. I sat down on the bed, my head in my hands as I thought of the huge breakthrough CJ had just had. I gotta get better so I can come home for him and Joshua, I thought as I went in to shower, whistling as I went.

Nikki's POV

"Oh! I didn't know anybody else was up," I said as I walked out into the living area where JT, Kevin and their boys sat eating breakfast. "I was just about to order breakfast for me and the boys."

"Hey girl," Kevin said over a mouth full of food, indicating an empty seat. "What are you doing up so early? I thought after last night you'd be asleep until at least 10."

"I promised the boys' that I'd take them to the zoo today, so sleeping in is not on the menu," I explained as I sat down next to Jaken. "Good morning Jaken... did you sleep good last night?"

"Mornin' Titi," he said, grinning around a mouth full of eggs. "I sept okay I guess."

"Good for you sweetie," I stated, turning to his brother. "And how did you sleep Toby?"

"Mornin' Titi Nikki," Toby said softly, smiling brightly as he stood on his chair and kissed my cheek. "I sept real good too!"

"Well I'm glad you did," I said as I got up to fix plates for myself, JC and the boys. "Let me go get my boys so they can eat before we leave."

Just as I was about to go into the bedroom where D and Tony were sleeping, JC came out of our room and walked over to me with a huge grin on his face.

"I was just gonna go get them—back in a second," he said softly, kissing me gently on the lips before he went to get the boys. I turned around and met the combined shocked looks of JT and Kevin, who both sat staring at me like I'd lost my mind.

"May I help you?" I asked as I picked up my fork and dug into the mountain of eggs on my plate. JT and Kevin exchanged glances, but I knew JT was nosey as all hell, so he was gon ask me whatever he wanted to know.

He leaned across the table, and pulling me towards him, asked, "Did you fuck him too?"

"JT!" I shrieked, my face burning with embarrassment. "Don't be asking me in front of the kids!"

"Girl they don't know what the hell I'm talkin' about," he said, rolling his eyes at me. "I guess that answers my question ho!"

"Like yo skank ass can talk," I hissed, cutting my eyes at him as CJ and Joshua came running out of the room followed closely by JC. I settled them at the table, handing JC his plate and sitting back down to finish my own food. "We'll talk about this lata."

"Naw heffa, we takin' this to the balcony," he stated, snatching a piece of bacon out of Kevin's hand. "You don't need this! Come on girl."

"Slow down man!" I snapped as I grabbed my plate and followed JT outside.

Out on the Balcony

"What the hell is goin' on with you Nikki?" JT asked as soon as the door closed behind us. "Why the hell did you fuck him if you hate him so much?"

"I don't hate him JT," I replied, sitting down and digging into my food. "Damn I'm hungry this morning. Anyway, I was just angry that someone I considered a friend was being so hateful towards me—not to mention that I didn't need that kind of stress after everything that had happened with CJ."

"That's all well and good Nikki, but did you just decide to forget all the shit that man put you through the last few weeks? Hell, some of us have had more shit from his ass than we should have had," he asked, frowning as he ate his own food. "You know he's been an asshole to everybody, not just you."

"I know that JT, and I'm sure he's sorry for how he's been actin' towards everybody, but I did manage to find out what his real problem was," I explained, sighing as I pushed my now empty plate away. JT looked up from his food, his head cocked to the side like a puppy. "It turns out that JC was jealous of the relationship that Tony and I have."

"What you mean `the relationship Tony and I have'?" JT asked, looking confused for a minute before realization dawned. "You mean to tell me he put us through all that shit because he wanted to have sex with you too?"

"Yes he did," I replied, smiling for the first time. "And damn was the sex good!"

"He broke yo ass off huh?" JT asked with a grin. His grin became mischievous as he watched me nodding with a huge shit-eating grin plastered on my face. "That's one thing I gotta give Josh, he always could break off some serious dick... So, when he was about to cum, did he purr like a kitten?"

"Yeah he did," I replied, bursting out laughing. "It was the cutest thing. It made me wanna stroke his head while he curled up in my lap. I forgot that you used to date him too. So, what are you and the husband person doing for the day?"

"Probably not much," JT replied as he picked up our plates and carried them back over to the door. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, why don't you guys come to the zoo with us?" I asked as we came back inside and rejoined the others. "I'm sure the boys could use a day out, and I know they'd burn off some energy so they won't be as hard to get to sleep tonight. What do you think?"

"Well, it is family day," JT replied, looking over at Toby with a troubled frown. "I don't know Nikki... they might not want to go, and I could use a few more hours of sleep."

"Toby, Jaken, would you two like to go to the zoo with Titi Nikki, CJ and Joshua?" I asked, giggling when their faces lit up.

"Yeah!" they said unanimously, pouting at JT and Kevin. "Can we go? Pleaseeeee, can we go?"

JT looked over at Kevin, who would be the deciding vote in this. He took one look at the excited faces of their sons and smiled at them.

"Yeah, we can go," he stated, laughing when Jaken and Toby began cheering. "Let's go get you guys cleaned up so we can leave."

The boys took off into the bathroom, as excited as all get out to be going to the zoo. JT and Kevin followed them, talking quietly amongst themselves. I could see Kevin's eyes darting back to where I sat next to JC, his gaze questioning as JT whispered something that made his mouth drop open in shock.

"I wonder what those two are whispering about," I said softly as I helped JC clear our breakfast dishes. He put the last of the plates on the cart and wheeled it out into the hall before he answered me.

"Based on the way they were looking at us, my best guess would be that JT was relaying everything you told him out on the balcony," he stated as he hugged me close. "And I'm guessing you told him about us?"

"Well he is my best friend besides Lydia," I explained, settling back against him as we waited for the Richardson-Poole clan. "I think he just wanted to make sure everything was okay with us."

"Okay," he said, finally relaxing and leaning back on the couch.

CJ came to me, holding out his arms to be picked up. I held him close, enjoying my time with him until Joshua came and demanded to be picked up too. JC held his arms out to him, and after glancing at me for the okay, he climbed up on JC's lap and dozed off. JC looked at me and smiled, holding CJ and I closer as we sat and waited for the rest of our group.
