Back Chapter # 3: Questions and Answers Pairing: Lance and Nick Carter (of the Backstreet Boys) Rating: (NC-17) Author: LissaAGreen Disclaimer: This is just fiction. I am not implying anything about the actual members of *NSYNC or BSB in real life. I have no idea if they're gay or not. but if they were I would support their lifstyle. I've never met them. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Nick sat next to me in the resteraunt, he sat across from his fan Eric and Chris sat next to Eric. It was good to be near nick again, haven't gotten a chance to talk to him this this afternoon. "Hay Lance." He said smiling at me. It was a little wierd but I smiled back. "How are you guys getting along?" I asked Nick. "Great! We have a lot in common, except I still think I can kick his ass in any video game." said Eric. "Dude, your on! I have my system with me back at my hotel room, anytime you want to loose just call me up." "Loose? I think not, How are you and Lance getting alone?" Eric asked Chris. Chris just smiled. "Fine, we're both old nieghbors I take it." Nick kept smileing at me. It was starting to make me feel uncomfortable. We had ordered our lunch and we all started a conversation with each other. It turened out Jc's fan Courtney knew Ashly before, pen pals I guess, so they we're gabbing nonstop. Abby Prince (Chris' fan) seemed to have fallen for him. And Chris had felt the same way. She was a bit younger then him, sixteen, but I could tell they were in their own little world. Brian had got the pther male fan. Richard, they seemed to have hit it off very well. Richard Kingly was from Massachusetts, he admitted liking our music as well, but had liked Backstreet more, which made Brian blush. Kinda made me wonder if anyone in the that group was gay, specially Nick. The way he kept looking at me made me very nervous. We had finished eaten and it was getting late. We all said our good bye and went back to the hotel. Nick put his arm around me and smiled. "See you in a few minutes?" "Uhhh, sure, just come in when your ready, the door will be unlocked." "Okay, see you then." I went into my room, wondering what was up with him. Nick's room... I re-read the note Lance had left me that morning. I still had a smile on my face, I couldn't help it. I felt like i was back in high school getting ready for a hot date. I got into some new clothes, silk black shirt and leather pants. I debated wether or not i should take a condom with me, I knew he wasn't going to be ready for that, but I figured it better be safe then sorry. I looked in my suitcase and found a trogin condom I had bought months before when I was seeing Mandy. I took two of them and put them in my pocket. I spread some CK calong on and decided i looked good enough. Brian had stopped me in the hallway. "Hay Nicky, where you off too?" "Hang out with Lance tonight, you guys going out?" "Yeah, kevin and AJ want to go site seeing, Joey and Chris are coming along, why don't you invite Lance, maybe find some chicks, maybe one even for you." "Very funny Bri, but remember who's engaged here." "Yeah I know, doesn't hurt to flirt though, you wanna come?" "Sounds tempting Bri, but I think I want to spend some time with Lance, maybe we can do something tomorrow." "Sure, you bet, take care, tell Lance I said hi." "Sure, see you later." When I came to Lance's room I started getting nervous. I decided to knock, even though he said come right it it didn't feel right. "Come in Nick, just getting some popcorn ready. Wow, why are you all dressed up?" "I looked down at what I was wearig then I loke dover at Lance, who was just wearing a sweater and jeans, I guess I did over do it. "I always try to look my best." I said casually. "You sound like Justin. What do you like to drink? Soda?" "Yeah sure." "Catch! Hope you don't mind getting scared, I rented Scream Three. Persoanlly I love that series." "Nah, I love horro movies, besides you could always protect me." "You have better luck with Ghostface, I burry my head threw the blood and guts parts." "Even better, I'll protect you." I shot him my award winning smile, I just hoped I showed dimples. Lances started the the move and came over to the couch. I put my arm around him adn pulled him closer. "So, was what you said this afternoon true?" I asked him bluntly. "What?" "About wanting to get to know me better." "Yeah of course." "Oh, good! For a mometn there I thought I was getting mixed singles." "What do you mean?" "I got your letter this morning, tot ell you the truth, I had no idea you were, you kno, gay," "WHAT?!" He made me jump when he screamed that. "Well, I mean, your letter said you liked me, don't you?" Did I have it wrong? Did I read the letter wrong? I mean he did say he had a crush on me. Didn't he? "Nick, I don't know what letter your talking about, I never wrote you one, and who the hell told you I was gay?! it was justin wasn't it?!" "Lance, I'm sorry, really, I never meant to imply anything, I just got this letter this morning under my door, saying it was from you and that you liked me. I'm sorry." I felt awful. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes, I did all I could to hold them back. "I never wrote you any fucking letter! but I know who did, look Nick, maybe you better go, suddenly I just don't feel good." I gulped hard. I could tell he was very upset as well, he rarely swears and hardly yells. "I'm sorry nick, I didn't want you to find out this way." I could hear his voice cracking as he talked. I just nodded and started out the door. I still had no idea what was going on and it killed me to see him so upset. I said good-bye to Lance but he didn't responde. I closed his door and let out a long sigh. the tears started to fall then, I could hear muffled sobs from the other side of the door as well. I traced the shape of a heart on the door of Lance's room. "I love you Lance." I said quietly and made my way to my room.
