Author's note: Hi everyone! The ninth chapter is finally here! And sorry, I
know I'm late!

Thanks to everyone who read this story so far, including Red, John, Joey,
Tara, Dara, Sher, Chris... and all the other! ;) I hope you'll like this
chapter!

"You saw that too."

"Death..."
"No, I didn't."
"Remember, your dream..."
"I heard that Death is represented by a skeleton with a cape... and I didn't
see that..."
"I know... but in your dream, you're dead..."
"I woke up just before."
"Yes..."
"... Why are you asking me that? I don't understand."
"You had nearly feel the death."
"When?"
"This night."
"How do you know that?"
"It was my fault..."
"You did that?!"
"No... I didn't do that... But it was my fault..."
"It... Nearly kill me!"
"I'm sorry... I never meant to hurt you..."

"First we must have as much place as we can have..." said Saya. "Please
remove everything."
AJ, Howie, Kevin and Lance started to push the hug bed as much as they could
at the bottom of the room while Nick and the other were moving the couch.
There was now a big empty place.
"Second..." said Saya as she pulled a bottle full of blue powder out of her
bag. "Somebody must draw a blue sun with six rays on the floor with that.
Who can do that?"
"I do." Said Nick "I can draw."
"Okay." Said Saya as she gave him the bottle "Do a HUGE sun with rays in a
shape of a triangle."
"What's this powder?" asked Chris.
"It's a magic composition made by Marcario ten years ago... I can't tell you
this composition, it's secret." Said Saya.
"Oh... okay." Said Chris, as he looked Nick drawing the sun. A few minutes
later, there was a huge blue on the floor. About 9' wide with six huge rays
in a shape of a triangle.
"Good work." Said Saya. "Now... we must placer this man in another room."
She said, pointing at Justin.
"What?!" said JC
"Why?" asked Justin
"You're contaminated, young man. So if you stayed here, this couldn't work."
Said Saya."So, go to your room. You'll go back when we're finished."
"I go with him." Said JC
"No, JC. We need you." Said Salway.
"There's no way that I leave Justin alone!" said JC "He could be in danger!
Remember what happen to me earlier!"
"If only I did that too... to be with the man I love..." thought Nick as he
looked down at his feet.
"Look, JC. We need you. You success to the evil spirits! You must..." said
Saya before JC cut him.
"I DIDN'T SUCCESS!" screamed JC angrily "Something helped me! I know it! I
didn't won against them!!"
"Look, JC." Said Saya "Justin won't be in danger... since he's already
contaminated, the devils won't try something on him."
"How can you be sure?" asked Lance
"Justin is contaminated so all that 'they' will do is to wait that he'll
become one of them." Said Salway. "We know that."
"But..." started to say JC, tears coming in his eyes "I can't leave him
alone..."
He then felt somebody kissing him on the right cheek. He turned to look at
Justin.
"Sweetie... if it's what I must do, I'll do it... Stay with them..." he said
softly
"No." Said JC as he took Justin in his arms. "There's no way that I leave
you alone. I don't want to loose you Justin."
"Don't worry, sweetie." Said Justin "I'll be fine. We must win against the
devils."
"But..."
"No, Josh... You stay here... remember the devils who did that... remember
Brian... and remember that I'm in danger too..." said Justin.
JC looked in his eyes and saw that he couldn't protest. Justin had made his
decision.
"I'll be back." He said before he quickly kissed JC on the lips and exited
the room.
"He'll be fine, buddy." Said Chris as he put his arm around JC's shoulder.
Joey did the same.
"Everything will be okay."
"I hope..." whispered JC, feeling down.
"The sooner we do that, the sooner you'll have Justin back." Said Saya. As
she put a white candle in front of each ray in the circle of the sun and
lighted them, Salway walked to the window and closed the shutters.
"Now, JC, sit in a ray." Said Salway. JC did it. Saya and Salway sat in a
ray too. After that, Saya looked up and said:
"Now, who want to do it? We must complete three other rays."
"I do." Said Nick, Kevin and Lance at the same time. Lance sat next to JC,
Nick sat next to Salway and Kevin sat between his two friends.
"Now, hold your hands." Said Saya.
They all held their hands and Nick couldn't help but to be anxious. Kevin
squeezed lightly his hand, whispering to him that everything will be okay.
Nick just nodded and took a big breath before slowly he slowly breathed out.
"Close your eyes and be concentrate."

"You think it's gonna work?"
"Just looked and watch."

****************************************************************************

"Helios, father of the sun and the light, hear us. Guide us through your
light, hear our help. Help us, guide us to one of your son." Said Saya.
Chris, AJ, Howie and Joey, all sitting on the floor not far from the other,
looked at each other, surprised, before they looked back to the scene. They
saw that the blue sun started to shine.
"Hear me Helios. Hear us. Guide us toward him. "

In Justin and JC's room.

Justin sat on the bed, staring into pace. Then he felt something in his
body. Something in his hands. He looked at them and saw that his hands
slowly turned in blue.
"What's the hell?..." he whispered.
But that didn't stop. Slowly his arms turned in blue. He got up and looked
in the mirror of the room. He realized that all his body slowly started to
be blue.

Back in Nick and Brian's room

"Hear us Marcario Thomerow. Let us come to you. Guide us through the light,
and help us."
Slowly, a blue ray emerged of each of the six triangles that formed the rays
of the blue sun, which continued to shine, and each of them met in the
center of the sun. A bright blue ball of light started to form.
"... Oh god..." whispered Howie. The other just nodded.
Nick kept his eyes closed all the way and like the other, who were sitting
in each ray, he started to feel tired.

Back to Justin...

Justin put his hands on his head, getting more and more nervous. Now that
his body was all blue, he felt it shining.
"Calm down, Justin." Said Justin to himself "It can't be the devils...it
can't be..."
Then suddenly, he felt that his body began to give up. He had more and more
troubled to see and to stay stand.

Back in N&B's room...

"Hear us!... Let us come to you!... Help us!... And that your light become
ours!" said Saya.
The ball of blue light suddenly went white and shined highly, causing AJ,
Howie, Chris and Joey to shut the eyes, dazzled by the light.
The candles suddenly went off and the ball shined extremely high before it
exploded, causing the room to be lighted in white for a few moment and
everyone in the room to fall on their back.

In Justin and JC's room...

Justin felt more and more tired. Suddenly a bright blue form irrupted from
his chest and Justin fall on the floor. He laid there on the floor. He was
no longer blue but his eyes and mouth were opened, his body out of life.

In N&B's room...

Saya and Salway sat up and quickly catch their breath. All the other were
still laying on the floor, breathing heavily. AJ, Howie, Chris and Joey sat
up and rubbed their eyes.
"My god... I thought I was going to be blind!" said Joey as he opened his
eyes.
"Me too." Said the other three.
Salway got up and switched on the light. He then looked at the four young
men still lying on the floor and saw them slowly sat up.
"You're okay?" he asked.
"Yeah..." said Kevin. He looked at Nick and saw him on his elbows.
"You're okay, buddy?" he asked as he helped him to sat up.
"Yeah... It's strange but... I thought I loosed all my strength..."
"Yeah, me too..." said Kevin as Lance and JC sat up.
"It's because of the incantation... That's need a lot of energy so that's
why you felt that." Said Saya.
"Whatever! That didn't work!" said JC angrily "Look! There's nothing!"
"But... I saw some light and what looks like a bright blue energy ball!"
said Joey.
"Yeah, me too!" said AJ "What happen?"
"That's mean that the incantation had worked."
"But there's nothing..." said Lance.
Everyone stayed quiet. Then JC got up.
"Where are you going?" asked Lance.
"To see Justin. Now he can come back, since it didn't work..."
"No, JC, we must try it again!" said Saya.
"Then it would be without me!" snapped back JC "I'm gonna see my boyfriend
and I don't care if you didn't want it!" He then exited the room.
"But..." started to say Salway before Chris cut him.
"You can't stop him. He's very protective, you know." Said Chris.
"It's stupid... he don't have to be like that." Said Saya.
"Maybe you think that to protect the one you love is stupid?!" snapped Nick
angrily to her.
Saya was shocked but she knew that Nick thought that he had lost his love
because he didn't protect him. He was feeling down so she didn't have to say
that.
"Sorry..." she said.

Meanwhile...

JC walked in the hallway to his and Justin's room. In front of the door, he
saw a small blue light exited the door.
"What is it?" he thought.
He opened the door and stepped forward. He stopped dead as he saw in front
of him what's look like a ghost. It was a man, about in the forty, and he
was almost transparent and bright blue. He was shining too.
"OH MY GOD!!!!" JC screamed at the top of his lugs. The ghost was still
quiet.
A few seconds later; all his friends and Saya and Salway were in the room
with him. They were all shocked by what they saw.
"Oh god..." said AJ.
"It's... it's a... it's a..." said Lance, a bit afraid.
"A ghost..." said Saya softly.
JC frowned as he saw something behind the ghost. He then, to his horror,
recognized Justin.
"JUSTIN!" he screamed as he rushed toward his lover and knelt down beside
him. His other bandmates quickly went around him. Justin's mouth was
slightly opened and there was no light in his eyes... as if they were empty.
"My god..." whispered Lance
JC quickly took him in his arms and check his pulse and breathing. There was
nothing. No pulse and no breathing.
"NOOOO!!!!!" screamed JC as he started to sob hysterically.
"Don't worry... he's not dead..." said a voice. They saw the ghost moved
without walking. He then turned over and faced everyone.
"Not dead?..." said Chris.
"His soul isn't in his body... he'll wake up when I'll be back..." said the
ghost.
"Back where?" said Kevin.
"Where you asked me to come from." Said the ghost. Everyone mouth dropped
opened as they stared at the ghost.
"You're... Marcario?" asked Kevin. The ghost smiled a little and nodded.
"It work..." whispered Lance. Marcario looked at him and then at JC, who
held Justin in his arms, tears streaming down his face.
"He'll... come back?" asked JC in a small voice
"Yes... don't worry..." said Marcario in a soft voice. "I'll used him to
appear but don't worry, he'll be fine."
He turned to the other and said:
"I must give you some explanations..."
"Yes... we need your help..." said Saya.
"I'm sorry for all of this..." said Marcario.
"I think it's too late for that... please just answer this question..." said
Kevin
"I listen..." said Marcario
"Why?... Why all of this? Why did you do that?" asked Kevin as the other
nodded.
"It all started when I was a child..." started to say Marcario "My parents
died a little after I was born, and an old man adopted me and named me
Marcario. I never thought that to do sorcery was a bad thing. Since I was
little and until I was 17 years old, I studied sorcery with this old man
named Hales... He taught me everything he know... But when I have 17 years
old, he was arrested and killed, accused to be a Satan's henchman... I ran
away... until I decided to stay in a small township. I was engaged by a
shopkeeper to deliver his goods and that's how I survived. But I'll never
stop sorcery and with the passing of the years, I learnt more and more."
"Did you learn black magic?" asked Lance
"Yes... But only after Hales died. I knew and did a lot this type of magic,
but I preferred a lot white magic. Anyway, one day, when I was 22 years old,
I became a great friend with an old and rich duke who came in this township
to live happily. His name was Francis Thomerow. Very often, after working, I
came in his mansion and we just spoke for several hours. He loved magic too,
so we became closer. One day, he came to the shopkeeper and bought my
liberty for a lot of money. After that, he asked me to be his son because he
didn't have descendants and he loved me like a father. And I accepted.
That's how I became Marcario Thomerow."
"It explains a lot of thing, but not how all of this happen..." said AJ
"Well... When the old man dead, I inherited his fortune from him and I
continued to study magic... I was an expert... well I thought I was." Said
Marcario "People started to look at me strangely and because of that, I had
to run away again... I took all the money I had and decided to go to the New
World... I went here because at this time, there weren't many people... And
with my money I made this mansion..."
"The chapel..." said Lance "Why did you made it under the ground?"
"I read in a old sorcery book one day that a religious place under the
ground was easier to do magic... black magic and white magic... to be close
of the hell and the heaven..."
The other just nodded, still a little confused about that but they said
nothing.
"People was confused that I did that... But I didn't care and I continued
the magic and write my magic book... But one day, I saw that since 20 years,
since I began to do black magic... I saw that I never controlled this
magic..." said Marcario
"How did you know?" asked Howie.
"One day, I tried to look at my complete past with the magic and I saw my
teacher, Hales, saying to me when I was five years old that I mustn't used
black magic and white magic at the same time... If you started to learn
white magic, you'll never control the other magic... And I learnt only white
magic with him... so that meant that I never controlled all the black magic
that I had done... I didn't remembered what he said until I saw it..."
"And what happen?" said Kevin.
"In order to stop all of this, I tried to 'gather' all my black magic in me
but even if I succeed at first, I began to loose control of myself because
of it... so I used my most powerful spell and succeed to imprisoned all this
magic in my book. I had locked this book in the chapel and closed this
place, never wanting to do magic again... and several time later I died...
it was because of a disease that was caused by this black magic."
Everyone was quiet.
"You know what happen then... I know what you said to them..." said Marcario
to Saya and Salway.
"And this magic is back... now that's explain everything!" said Kevin.
"What do you mean?" said Chris.
"Easy! This arm that we found and his disappearance... what happen to Justin
earlier... it was all caused by this magic!" said Kevin.
"But... and the bracelet?" said Nick as he took Brian's bracelet out of his
pocket.
"Your friend had been attacked by these devils and 'they' used his bracelet
and a false arm to make you think that he's dead... black magic is also...
lying." Said Marcario.
"Just answer me this question, please." Said Nick.
"I listen." Said Marcario. Nick took a big breath and asked:
"Where's Brian?"
Everyone in the room looked at him and then at Marcario.
"Brian is captive in the chapel." He said.
"What?! In the chapel?!" said Nick, confused
"Yes... but the black magic had him... if you go there you won't find him."
He continued "His soul is outside of his body."
"What?" said everyone.
"His soul is with mine nowhere... if you defeat the black magic, his soul
will be back to his body and he'll be saved." Said Marcario.
"He's with you?" whispered Nick.
"Yes... Because of what I had done, I'm not in peace... I'll be when
everything will be end... definitely. It's the same for Brian... so he's
with me." said Marcario
"He's dead?!" said Nick as tears went to his eyes.
"No... He's still alive... but not for along time... he knows that I'm here
with you and he listens to you..." said Marcario
"Why 'not for a long time'?" asked Kevin
"A soul can't be separated from his body for a long time... Brian's soul
will lost all his energy and disappeared... then he'll be dead."
Nick looked at him, confused.
"Where is he?" he whispered.
"I'm going to make him come to us." Said Marcario as he put his left hand in
the air. The hand lighted for two second and then he bent it down. A second
later, Brian appeared.
Everyone looked at him in total shock. They hardly believed that he was
here.  Like Marcario, he was a ghost and his body was shining a bright blue
color.
"BRIAN!" screamed Nick as he ran toward him. As he wanted to take him in his
arms, he saw that he couldn't. He only went through him.
"Brian..." he moaned as he backed away, tears streaming down his face.
"Don't cry, sweetie." Said Brian.
"I don't want to loose you..." Nick said still crying, his hands on his
face.
"You aren't going to loose me." Said Brian as he went in front of him. "You
heard Marcario... defeat this magic and Justin and I will be safe."
"He's right." Said Marcario "I'll help you."
"How many time have we got?" asked Kevin.
"Not a lot... but you can't to it tonight. You're too weak for the moment."
Said Marcario.
"But it will be too late after for Brian and Justin!" said Kevin.
"No... You must take several hours of sleep... you'll do it early in the
morning." Said Marcario.
"What we must do?" asked Lance.
Marcario looked at Saya and said:
"Take the book. I'll explain after."
Saya nodded and quickly went to the room to take the book. She went back
with it a few moments after.
"Okay, now search the page when you'll see a blue sun with a white spiral in
it." said Marcario.
Saya quickly turned the pages and found it. She showed it at Marcario who
nodded.
"Yes... it's that. There are the pages you must use to imprisoned the black
magic in the book." He said.
"That's all?" said Howie.
"No." He then turned to Lance, Chris and Joey.
"Since you have found the black magic in the book, you have to do something
important." He held out his right hand toward the book. The book got out of
Saya's hands and went in front of him. Several pages turned and stopped at
two pages. On the left was a white sun and on the left some text and other
pictures. These pages came out of the book and went toward Lance. Lance took
them and looked at them.
"You must help the other to fight the magic. You have to weaken the hearth
of this black magic."
"How?" asked Lance as he, Chris and Joey looked at the pages.
"I'm going to explain to you... everyone follow me." Said Marcario as he
went outside the room. Except JC who wanted to stay with Justin's body.
"Take him with you... he'll come back in a few moment." Said Marcario.
JC nodded and took up Justin's body. They all followed Marcario and arrived
in front of a door.
"It's locked... I tried to open it yesterday but without success..." said
Chris.
"Not for me." Said Marcario as he put his hands as if he wanted to pray. He
closed his eyes and pointed his hands at the lock. They all heard a small
noise and Marcario said:
"It's open, now."
Chris was surprise to see that he was right.
"Amazing..." said Kevin as the other nodded.
They all entered and saw that this piece was only another bedroom. Marcario
went in front of the mirror of the room and moved his hands up and down in
front of it. To the other surprises, the mirror disappeared and they saw an
access to another place.
"Follow me." He said.
They all followed him and found themselves in a room made in old stones.
Marcario clapped two times and then the room switched on. There were some
furniture on the wall, all full of books, bottles and other objects. In
front of him, on a table, were some objects and bottles. There was a lot of
spider's web and dust everywhere in the room.
"This is here... Where I put all my magic objects."
"There's a lot of things!" said Brian. Nick went closed to him a bit sad,
wanting to be as close to him as possible. Brian mouthed a kiss to him,
causing Nick to smile a little.
"I put everything I used to jail this magic on the book." He said as he
pointed on the table a bottle full of blue powder, another one with white
powder, and a silver knife, very sharp and beautiful.
"Take these with you. You'll need them to win." Said Marcario. Kevin nodded
and picked them all.
"You..." said Marcario to Lance "You must took this bottle and this one." He
said pointing to two bottles on furniture to his left. Lance went and took a
bottle full of white powder and another one where these six balls with a
white and blue liquid in each of them.
"Each of them are different?" asked Lance.
"Yes... each bottle are different." Said Marcario.
"What's this one?" asked Nick holding a very small bottle full of a red
liquid.
"It's something dangerous." Said Marcario "If you threw it on something,
there will be a big fire."
Nick nodded and put the bottle on the table.
"As for you..." he said at Lance "You need three white candles and I don't
have them."
"I'll buy them at the village." Said Lance.
"Same for you." He said to Kevin "But you need four blue one."
"I'll buy them too." Said Lance.
"Good... You must read what you must do to success on the pages that I
showed you." Said Marcario.
"Okay... where we must do it?" asked Saya
"Do it in the front room." Said Marcario "It's the biggest one of the
house."
"Okay..."
"But you three." He said to Lance, Joey and Chris "You must do it in the
chapel."
"Okay." They said.
Marcario went outside the room and the other followed. Back in the room, he
clapped two times in front of the entrance and the other saw the room
switched off. He moved his hands up and down and the mirror went back.
"You must do it at the same time." Said Marcario. "Do you how to contact
each other?"
"Yeah, we have our portables." Said Joey as he showed his phone.
"Okay..." said Marcario. He didn't know what it was but he didn't care.
"If you success, threw the book in a fire... then everything will be end...
definitely." He said. The other nodded.
"What will happen... if we fail?" asked Chris.
"The black magic will become more powerful and... The devils will probably
kill you."
The other were afraid but nodded. They didn't have choice.
"I must go now... you too Brian." Said Marcario. Brian just nodded.
"Oh please no..." pleaded Nick "Brian, stay with me, please..."
"I can't, Nick." Said Brian "But you know that I'll always be with you."
"You see him if you're defeat the magic." Said Marcario. Nick couldn't help
but cry as he nodded.
"I'll do anything..." he said.
"Wait. I have two questions." Said JC.
"Yes?" said Marcario.
"Did you do everything alone when you fought this magic?"
"Yes... since I'm a powerful sorcerer, I used magic to create a magic shield
to be protected from the magic in the chapel. You and your friends aren't
experienced, so that's why you must do that. And your last question?"
"Is... Is it you who help me earlier in the library?"
"I didn't have a choice. Otherwise, *they* had you." Said Marcario
"Thanks a lot..." said JC. "You save my life."
"Yeah, thanks for saving JC." Said Chris as the other nodded.
"Thanks... I hope I'll see you all one day... Good bye and good luck..."
Said Marcario as he disappeared.
Brian looked at Nick and said:
"I love you... Be strong and you'll win..." before he disappeared. Nick
couldn't help but shared some tears.
"I'll be, Brian... I love you too." He whispered.
"JUSTIN!" screamed JC. Nick turned around and saw Justin sitting up. He
looked completely fine.
"My god... what happen?" he asked. Instead of answer, JC pulled him in his
arms and hugged him tightly.
"I'll explain..." he said a big smile and tears of joy on his face.
As he was about to say something, Justin felt three other pairs of arms
hugging him. It was Lance, Chris and Joey.
"Whatever happen, they're happy to see me!" he thought, a bit confused.

Later, in N&B's room...

"So, you all understand? Be at my room at 6' o' clock and be ready!" said
Kevin
"Yes!" they all say.
"I'll read what we must do, Chris, Joey and I." said Lance.
"I'll do the same thing for us." Said Saya as she took the magic book.
"Good. Now everyone, go to sleep! We must have all our force." Said Kevin.
"We'll be in the new bedroom... it will be easier." Said Saya as Salway
nodded.
"Okay... So good night everyone." said Kevin as he and the other, except
Nick, exited the room.
"I think that tomorrow will be the most incredible day of my life." Said
Joey.
"Me too." Said the other as they all go to their room.

Later, in Justin and JC's room...

"You think we'll success, Josh?" asked Justin.
"I hope so, Just. I hope so..." said JC.
"You know... I'm not angry against Marcario because he used me to come to
us... He said what we must do and he saved your life... I don't know if to
say 'thank you' would be enough..." said Justin
"I know... but I'm sure he know that, Curly... One day, you'll thank him in
person." Said JC as he hugged Justin tightly.
"I only hope that this day won't be tomorrow..." said Justin. JC kissed him
very softly on the lips and said:
"Don't think like that... now sleep, Justin."
"I love you, Josh."
"I love you too, Justin."
After that the two lovers fell asleep.

In Saya and Salway's room...

Saya and Salway woke up as they heard a strange noise.
"You heard, Matthew?" whispered Saya.
"Yeah... what was that?" he said.
Suddenly they saw something above them. A bright red ball. This ball lighted
suddenly and disappeared. Saya and Salway looked at each other. They opened
their mouth to say something but no sound came out. They tried to spoke
twice but there was still no sound. They looked where was the ball and saw a
long thin line red in front of them. They wanted to scream but no sound came
out. The red line shined and quickly went on them.
All that can be hear in the room was the faint sound of something rolling on
the bed...

In Nick and Brian's room...

Nick had finished to pack his and Brian's things. He then took of his pocket
a small bottle with a red liquid in it and put it on the bedside table.
While everyone started to go out of the room when were all Marcario's magic
objects, Nick had discreetly took it despite that Marcario had said that it
was dangerous. Since the bottle was very small, nobody notice something.
"It can be useful..." he said.
He switched off the light and laid down on the bed, tried to sleep.
"I'll save you Brian... or I'll join you." Were his last thoughts before he
fell asleep.
Tomorrow... the day of the battle...
