A Tale of Two Boybands: Then 5
***Disclaimer:

This is yet another story about those hunky boys of the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync written by a straight woman. Therefore, please excuse my writings if they appear to be a bit screwed due to my lack of knowledge. This story is a work of fiction and is purely written for the sole purpose of entertainment and enjoyment. This story does not imply anything about the sexuality of the person(s) involved. And if you're underage teenie or do not wish to read about male/male sexual relationships, this is now the time to shut your lap-top. Proceed with your own risk. Enough with the warnings, now on with the story.

***Author's Note:

Big thanks to JM, yeah, you know who I'm talking about. I encourage anyone to check out his lovely series, "Brian and Justin". It is because of JM that I was able to complete this installment and have it posted. So, check out his story if you haven't already as if there is still someone lurking in Nifty land who hasn't already read his story.

A TALE OF TWO BOYBANDS: THEN

CHAPTER V

The summer of 1999 was a blessing for the Backstreet Boys. Despite having `N Sync trailing behind their heels, they managed to pull far ahead, selling 1.1 million records of their sophomore album during their first week. With all the money involved, things became more complicated. As much as they wanted to stand out from the rest, they were constantly compared to `N Sync and vice versa. `N Sync kept their pretty mouths shut. After all, the guys were brought up well to respect others. They had no problem ignoring the bashing from the media.

The Backstreet Boys, on the other hand, had a more difficult time dealing with the mess. They attacked the media and soon began attacking other boybands, especially `N Sync. They were tired of selling millions of albums and hearing that out of the bubblegum pop factory, `N Sync was the most liked by critics. They wanted to be liked by the critics as well.

The constant bitching on the Backstreet Boys' part soon left a stain on Kevin and JC's relationship. As much as JC wanted to believe that it was all done for business, he was starting to find it harder and harder to come home to someone who had just publicly disrespected him and his band. As much as he wanted to believe that the real Kevin Richardson loved him and no one else, he was starting to find it hard to believe that Kevin had other priorities. And JC was definitely not at the top of the list. He was finding it hard to hide their relationship from everyone else when he was not sure of this relationship himself.

The last straw came in the fall when a member from the popular Irish boyband, Boyzone, was forced to reveal his homosexuality. Although, they still remained popular in Europe, there was an undeniably truth that the number of fans had dwindled.

"I'm starting to think that this is not a good idea." JC one night professed to his lover.

Kevin remained silent, just trying to enjoy the last few moments with his lover. He knew it was the beginning of the end. He knew that in no time, their paths would have to part. He knew it because he, too, wanted that time to be now.

"Just one more time, please." Kevin pleaded, kissing JC on the lips. "For old time's sake."

And JC complied, returning the kiss.

It was just as Kevin said, one more time. Their kiss soon turned into a kiss of passion as articles of clothing slowly fell to the ground. Kevin and JC followed their clothing as Kevin laid across the floor and allowed JC to crawl on top of him. JC pressed his lips to Kevin's while drawing down his briefs. Pleasure was an understatement as Kevin traced his fingers across JC's back.

JC pet Kevin's chest while kissing him. He felt Kevin's erect penis rubbing against the back of his ass. He smiled to himself, though he knew what was happening. All over again, he was allowing something to happen that he knew might hurt in the end. He lifted his body and waited for Kevin. Kevin took a hold of his lengthy penis and held it at JC's entrance. They parted lips for Kevin to get an accurate look at where he held himself. JC panted softly, brushing Kevin's hair with his fingers.

"Do it Kev..." JC whispered, leaning down to kiss Kevin's nipples.

Kevin groaned when feeling JC's tongue circle his nipple and when his cock made its entrance into JC's body. He hissed softly as JC's tight hole finally gave way for Kevin. The heat of Kevin's penis sliding deep into him made JC tense up. He hugged onto Kevin and continued his soft kissing. Kevin began to ease himself further up into his lover. He heard JC hiss even louder, but he continued. It broke through the ring and glided up. JC released a more pleasureable groan, exhaling onto Kevin's chest.

"Oh Kevin..." JC moaned while beginning to ride Kevin.

Kevin sat back on the ground, his head resting on JC's jeans. He lifted one hand and grabbed JC's waist to control JC's actions. His other hand grabbed onto JC's erect penis and began to jerk on it. JC moaned even louder when he felt Kevin's warm hand engulf his cock. He rode Kevin like an expert, making sure Kevin's cock felt each end of his hole. Kevin closed his eyes tightly and moaned into the night.

"JC! Harder... mmm... harder JC... yeah!" Kevin growled out.

His month without being able to be with JC sexually left his body tense. He was able to relax again when his lover pleasured him as he did. JC rode a little quicker, his cock drawing up cum from his balls. He closed his eyes and held onto the ground while gliding Kevin in and out of his entrance. He desired Kevin's warm fluid inside of his body again. He pressed his chest downward and kissed Kevin's lips. Kevin parted his lips and extended his tongue to meet with JC's. They kissed lightly, leaving their tongues to play with the other.

"Oh Kevin! Yes!" JC shouted out while finally cumming on Kevin's hand and stomach.

Kevin kept his eyes closed and his lips parted. A groan was breaking through his throat. He held onto JC with both hands as his balls tightened up. He couldn't believe the passion being ignited again. He groaned out louder and louder. JC's body was tightening all around his penis making the pleasure more than sexual.

"JC! I'm... I'm... I'm cumming..." Kevin released his breath-filled groan while cumming inside of his lover.

JC collapsed onto Kevin as Kevin came inside of him again. He let Kevin's semen run deep inside of him while he listened to Kevin's quick breathing. He could feel Kevin wrapping his arms around him to cradle him. He smiled softly. His eyes shut while Kevin held him close to his chest. He only longed to hear Kevin speak again.

"I still love you Joshua." Kevin whispered, sliding a finger over JC's chiseled cheeks.

"I love you too..." JC replied softly, kissing Kevin's chest before resting in his arms again.

Kevin let a tear leave his eye. He knew it would be the last time he could tell JC those words and hold him like that again. It hurt him, but he learned that he was going to have to let go of JC and enjoy him that one last time.

Kevin returned to their hotel to find comfort in his cousin, Brian. Brian held him close as if he was now the fatherly figure, reassuring him that if it was meant to be, JC's path would one day meet his, again. After several hours of just crying, Kevin was able to regain his composure and walked to his room by himself.

Brian, relieved that his cousin was doing better, decided to go out. It was still relatively early in the night and he still had yet to dine. He asked the taxi driver to take him to a trendy restaurant where he had experienced the shock of his life. As he sat down, he saw his young boyfriend in the arms of another. He looked closer and became furious to see Nick wrapped in the arms of none other than AJ, his fellow bandmate. When they got up to leave the restaurant, Brian was compelled to follow them. He never realized what Nick meant to him until now when he realize how devestated he was feeling as he followed the cab to a quiet motel in another section of town.

"If he goes in with him, it's over." Brian said to himself, crossing his fingers.

Sure enough, Nick walked into the motel with AJ in his arms. Their relationship however real it was was now a completely over. Again, Brian was left alone in this world. Only the memories of having Justin close and near brought him joy. Only the hopes of one day their paths would meet kept Brian going from day to day. For Justin, Brian would live. Brian pulled all his strength and made the boldest decision in his life. He made a phone call.

"What city?" the operator asked.

"Orlando." Brian answered. "The Harliss resident."

"I can connect you with an additional charge."

"Please."

The phone rang for what seems to be hours. Brian glanced at his watch. Within minutes the phone was picked up. "Hello." A woman answered.

"Is Justin there?" Brian asked.

"Yes." She answered. "Is this a friend?"

"Yes. Tell him I'm an old friend."

"Okay."

Minutes later, an energetic voice answered the phone. He was doing well after all. Laughter was heard in the distant background, which only brought tears to Brian's eyes.

"Hello." Justin answered.

"Hi, Justin, this is Brian." Brian said between sobs.

Justin was shocked to hear from Brian that he accidentally dropped the phone. Brian was about ready to hang up when he heard Justin's frantic voice calling for his name.

"I thought you left." Brian said. "I thought you never wanted to hear from me again."

"I wouldn't do that." Justin said. "Brian, is something wrong?"

"Yes, but I don't want to talk over the phone." Brian answered. "I need someone to talk to."

Justin hesitated for a moment. He didn't know what to do. For JC, he would dash out of his house and sped away in his car through the streets to find JC even before JC would verbally asked him to. But for Brian, how far would he have to extend his friendship? He did not know.

"Where do you want to meet?" Justin finally asked.

"There's a coffee shop at K Street. Can you meet there in half an hour?"

"I'll do better than that." Justin said. "Give me fifteen."

Brian hung up and grabbed his coat. He walked out into the cold dark starry night to the coffee shop on K Street. He waited at one of the empty tables not expecting Justin to show up. He just needed an excuse to show his shameful face to the world. How could he be so stupid to believe that Nick was actually in love with him? How could he settle for someone like Nick when all he ever wanted was the person standing before him? Brian was surprised and grateful to see Justin standing in front of him.

First thought that crossed Brian's mind, Boy was this boy fine. Justin wore an Abercrombie and Fitch muscle t-shirt defining the curves of his pectorials covered thinly by the shirt. He had on a pair of denim jeans- not too tight, not too loose. He looked perfectly delicious. Brian took a sip of his coffee, not taking his eyes off Justin's body. Of course, he was mesmorized by Justin's angelic face, too. But like everyone else, he couldn't keep his eyes off Justin's bulge in his pants.

"Sit down." Brian finally said to Justin.

"Thanks." Justin said, sitting down across from Brian. "So, what's up? I had to lie that I had to see JC in order to get out of the house this late in the night."

"Thanks for being here for me."

"No problem. We're friends, right?"

"Right." Brian said, not believing how kind Justin was despite he and his own fellow bandmates taking every opportunity to degrade Justin and his fellow bandmates. "Did I ever tell you that I was gay?"

Justin smiled. "No." He paused. "But after that night, I knew. What's really bothering you?"

"I saw Nick cheating on me with AJ."

"I'm sorry."

"I know that we haven't talked in a very long time. Do you have time to share a coffee with?"

"Um...I don't drink coffee." Justin said. "But I'd take a glass of warm milk."

Brian smiled back. He waved down the waitress and ordered another cup of coffee and a glass of warm milk. Their drinks soon arrived and thus the beginning of a rekindled friendship. Brian revealed all that had happened to him during the past several years since they last met. Justin listened intently and when it was his turn to speak, Justin recounted the events in his life as well. In one night, they had become as close as two strangers could be. They were good friends, not best, because only JC could hold that post. But, hey, Brian was close enough. Maybe a Lance level of friendship. Brian was satisfied.

***There you have it...the another installment of "A Tale of Two Boy Bands". Okay, I really don't know if there's a K street in Orlando. I'm going for an entertaining plot not accuracy. I mean, come on, the hottest guys in music biz today are either gay or bi in this story. As many of you might know, this is the same story as "Entwined" only under a different name. I embrace the readers of "Entwined" and welcome the new readers. I'd love to hear comments and feedbacks and please no hate mail. This is not a teenybopper site and I don't expect to read them either. ThanksJ
