The thing with Nick is, he so goddamned beautiful when he cries.

I pushed AJ away from me and into the wall.  He apologized.  He just wanted
to know if the spark was still there.  It wasn't.  He felt that too.  But
he didn't feel the pain in my chest as I watch Nick run away from us.  From
me.  But the thing is, he doesn't understand.

I ran as fast as I could out of the bus and into the arena.  But I wasn't
fast enough.  Nick ran to his changing room and locked the door.

I pounded the door for a good twenty minutes.  But all I heard were his
soft and gentle whimpers coming from the other side.

I wrote a song for him in the time when he saw AJ kiss me, and the time
when he finally looked me in the eyes 2 weeks later.

	" Nick, please, talk to me."
	" No!  You bastard!  You turn away from me.  Saying you don't wanna
a relationship, but then you, and him, and Fuck you Howie!"
	" No, please.  HE kissed ME, not the other way around."
	" Same thing, his tongue was still your mouth, and I bet you liked
it."
	" I used to."
	" Excuse me?"
	" I used to.  2 years ago, and the 2 years before that, that's when
I liked it."
	" You were with him, and we didn't know?  Why?"
	" When you were 16, would you have understood, or ever wanted to
know?  Really Nick?"
	" Maybe."
	" Yeh. Well maybe we didn't want the maybe's be to No's."
	" But, what about me.  Why do you push me away?"
	" Please, Nick, don't push it."
	" Howie!  God damn it, I have a right to know."
	" No!  you don't have a right to know about my life.  It has
nothing to do with you."
	" But I love you!"
	" Well that's what he said!  You think I'm really gonna believe
anyone else ever again when they say that?  Huh?  You think after I see my
fucking boyfriend, who says he fucking loves me, fucking some girl, that
I'm gonna believe in love anymore?"
	" I, I'm sorry.  I shouldn't have pushed it."
	" You're right.  You shouldn't have.  You're just so stupid
sometimes.  You don't think.  Do you like seeing me like this.  Crying?
Because if you do, then congrats man, you're awesome!  You know, I was
gonna sing this to you, to apologize.  And I was gonna tell you that I love
YOU.  But now, I just don't care anymore."

I dropped the lyrics to the floor and walked away.

The thing with Nick is, he doesn't give up.
