If you couldn't accept themes of homosexuality and the like, please don't read on. This is a story concerning gay males having intimate relationships and is considered FOR ADULTS ONLY due to its sexual theme and contents. BUT if you really like this stuff, please don't tell others. Everything in this story is purely FICTIONAL. Or in simpler terms, it's not true!!! Even if this story involves NSYNC, a real, successful American singing group, and a fictitious character, all that happens in here is fictional... again, it's not true. If there are instances that it is similar to what happened in the real world, it doesn't mean that it's really true. I don't know anything about their sexuality, as far as the I and the world know, they're straight as an arrow so I dunno if they're gay (but I do have my speculations) or not but I wrote this out of freedom of speech and my love for these guys and slash fiction. I don't own or know NSYNC personally. AGAIN, it's NOT TRUE!!! but don't we all hope that it's true... hehehehe... * First Words * Hi guys. This is my 3rd work here in the boyband section of the Nifty Archives. I dunno why I called it "What I See" but I just ran out of ideas for a title and thought of something simple. So the title, What I See was born *giggle*. I dunno if I can manage my 3 stories at the same time but Crossed Paths is in its "season break" and Reformation is still there. But I'll really try my best to update all my stories. Remember, I love feedbacks. Mail me at my NEW Addie at yr_ry_@hotmail.com ------------------------ What I See Chapter 23 ------------------------ I stayed with Ken for another day. We were practically tourists because we went to the famous landmarks in the area. I had loads of fun. Not just because I was with Ken but JC and I finally fixed our problem and everything was just perfect. We talked last night and when I woke up, there was an SMS from JC that read 'I love you.' I was feeling tingly from the overload of happiness in my life. "Kylie!" Ken snapped his fingers in front of my face. "What?" I asked a little lost. "You just had a trip in your little world, hun." Ken said with a giggle. "You are so so in love!" He teased. I just blushed because it was the truth. I was really head over heels in love with Mr. Joshua Scott Chasez. And I love the feeling. Anyway, along with going to famous landmarks, Ken has to drag me to the shopping mall and made me buy stuff but he was the one who picked all of the clothes and I was the one paying them. I felt like I was in E's Fashion Emergency. I was trying loads of clothes and he would critique it once I got out of the dressing room. We ended up with 8 bags of clothes, 3 pairs of shoes and a lot of hair products. "You'll thank me after this." Ken said to me for the nth time. Yeah right. When we reached Ken's house, I was tired already. Who wouldn't? We toured the city, I was dragged to countless of shops and I also maxed my credit card. Also, my trip back home was gonna be tomorrow morning. I wanted a later time but it was the only one available and I realized that I needed to go back to work. I've been delayed so much and I needed a lot of time to catch up on that. "You go rest now. Tomorrow, you're gonna back to your boring life." Ken noted. "Hey! I actually love my boring life." I laughed. "And when JC's there, it's not boring anymore." I added. He just laughed with me. "Okay, I'm gonna call my man and call it a night." I said and gave each other a hug. I walked to my room and dialed JC's number. Josh had no concert so I assumed that he was just lounging at home. "JC's phone." Joey answered. "Hey Joe! Can I talk to Josh?" I asked. "Wait for a minute." Joey said. "JC! Phone!" He hollered. "You don't have to shout." JC complained. I could hear a few shuffling after that. "Hello?" "Hey Josh." I said happily. "Kyle! How's your day?" He asked. "It was fun! Kenny toured me around here and dragged me to the mall." I answered with a groan. "Aaaw, did Ken tire you out?" JC cooed. "He did." I said in a child's voice. "Well, that's nice to hear. You should relax more." He advised with a chuckle. "Hey! You're sounding like Ken already." I giggled. "Anyway, I'm going back home tomorrow." I told him. "For real?" JC said. "Yeah, I took the 7am flight so I can go to work too tomorrow. I have lots of catching up to do. I've been doing absolutely nothing for the past weeks." I told him. "Okay." He answered. "How about you? How's your day?" I inquired. "I just slept in and did a few writing. We only have a few breaks so I have to catch up on some "me" time." He told me that really made sense. It was just one of the similarities that Josh and I share. The two of us have "me" time where we have this moment to center ourselves because of our hectic lives. "But after Joey came barging in my room, I was forced to watch a movie with him." Josh added. "Hey!" I heard Joey complain. I just chuckled a bit. "That's nice to hear, dear." I said while trying to stifle a yawn. "You must be really tired. You sleep now, okay? You have an early flight tomorrow and you need all the sleep that you can get." JC said. Jeez, he sounded like my mother. But that was one of the good points about him. He is such a caring and loving person. "I'm a little bit tired. I'm gonna phone you tomorrow, okay? I love you." I said. "I love you too. Bye." JC said and hung up the phone. I placed my cell phone on the counter and stripped down to my boxers. I laid my body on the bed and thought how lucky I was. I was so sure that Josh and I finally broke up but we didn't. And that's great. I was still brainstorming on my surprise for JC. I knew that he would love it when I finally enacted my surprise. I wrapped my hands on a pillow and squeezed it closer to my body. It was going to be a good night sleep. The alarm that I set woke me up. It was too damn early but I couldn't do anything. My flight was 7:00am so I have to be earlier than that. I looked at the clock and it was 5:00am. It was enough for me to prepare because I already packed my bag yesterday. It's just cleaning up myself. I walked lazily to Ken's room to wake him up. I slowly opened the door of Ken's room and no light came out from inside. It was still dark. I switched the lights on. Ken was still sleeping with the sheets all bunched up near the foot of the bed. He has always been a bad company on bed. He moves too much. I walked to the bed. "Ken? Wake up." I said as I nudged him. He just swatted my hand and buried his head in his pillow. Ken was a heavy sleeper and the only solution that I knew was dragging him off the bed. I did that. "What?!" Ken said confused when he found himself on the floor. "My flight leaves at 7:00am. Come on." I told him and ruffled his hair. Again, he swatted my hand. "I'm gonna prepare something to eat. You get ready." I instructed and he just grunted a reply. I walked out of the room knowing that he would be starting because he was off the bed already. I walked to the kitchen trying to decide on what I would cook. It has to be quick so I have to stick with frying. Eggs and bacon would do. After a few minutes, Ken barged in the kitchen. I was done cooking by that time. "You start eating; I'll just take a bath." I told him and he nodded. I went back to my room and did my routine. After around 15 minutes, I was done already and just checked on my stuff. I didn't want to forget anything because I have no idea when I would be back here. But hopefully, it would be soon because I really had a good time with Ken. I knew that I would miss Ken. I already felt that when he left for California. But at the moment, I missed JC. With my small luggage at hand plus all the other things we bought, I walked down and left my bags by the stairs and headed to the kitchen. Ken was still eating heartily. "I'm back." I greeted and sat beside him. I placed some eggs and bacon on my plate and started eating as well. "I'm gonna miss you." Ken told me. "I'm gonna miss you too. It has been a blast with you." I said. "But once you see that JC boy of yours. I know that all thoughts about me are gonna fly out of the window." Ken teased. "Hey! If I know, once you go back to one of the clubs you go to, it's like I didn't exist." I shot back with a grin. We remained silent after that but after a few seconds, we laughed. Gosh, the two of us were really silly. I looked at the watch and it read 6:00am. "Kenny, it's 6 already. I guess we have to go now." I noted. "I guess." Ken answered. I poured myself a glass of orange juice and hurriedly drank it all. "Let's just place this in the sink and I'll clean this later on." Ken said as he cleared his mess. I did the same and brought it to the sink. Ken lead the way out of the kitchen and I followed him but stopping by the flight of stairs to pick up my bags. "You want a bag for all of that?" Ken asked. I looked at the other bags that were scattered. "Yes." I said. He walked upstairs and when he returned he was holding a bag. The two of us placed the clothes and shoes in the bag. "Thanks for the bag." I told him. "I ain't giving you the bag." Ken answered with a raised eyebrow. "Let's just say it's a reason for you to return here." He said with smile. I picked up a bag and he picked the other and we walked to his car. We placed them in the compartment and we went in the car. Finally settled inside, we started our trip to the airport. It was a short trip. By 6:20am, we were already in the airport. Since it was very early, the airport wasn't that busy. Only a few were standing outside waiting for a cab and inside, the lines weren't so long. I let Ken carry the bag carrying the new things that we bought while I carried the things that I brought in the trip. We found a trolley and we placed it there as we sat for awhile waiting for the plane to start boarding. "I'm really going to miss you, Kyle." Ken told me as he held my hand. "I'm gonna miss you too. Maybe next time, you can go to Florida and we can go to a club or shopping." I offered. "Yeah, next time." Ken answered. We fell into a comfortable silence. "You know, I have always envied you." Ken said not looking at me. "Envy me?" I chuckled a little bit not really believing that it was coming from Ken. "Yeah. You were always the person in control while I was the reckless one. My mom once said to me that I should act like you because you were always in control. That hurt me and I felt a little revulsion towards you. But that only lasted for a short time because I found a nice fuck after that." Ken laughed softly. "Don't. Like you said, I live a boring life and even I can admit that it's boring. I'm the one who envies you. I mean you are so worriless and happy-go-lucky. I can only feel that when I'm with you or I'm with Josh." I told him. "I guess this Josh is taking my place." Ken said. "You know that he can never take your place. You're special in my heart. You were my first love." I told him that made him blush. Whenever I tell Ken that he was my first love, he would always blush. I dunno why but that's the effect on him. My flight was called. It was starting to board already. "I guess this is it." Ken said as we stood up. "Yeah. I'll see you soon okay?" I said trying my best not to cry. I have always hated to say goodbye. "Don't start on me Kylie." Ken said as he grabbed me to a tight embrace. We didn't let go of each other for a few seconds but we have to face the inevitable. "I love you." I told him. "I love you too." Ken said. I pushed the trolley away and left Ken not looking back because I knew that he was tearing up already and I was a little emotional at that moment as well. "We'll see each other again." I said to no one in particular. After all the inspection and procedures that I have to undergo, I was finally placed in my cramped seat. Once I was settled and comfortable, I just stared outside and began to think of the new adventures that I have in life. I have left it for a few days but I was going back to it. I have to go back to my confusing and boring life. Slowly, my eyes closed and I fell asleep. Someone was nudging me. I slowly opened my eyes. "Sir, we have landed." A smiling flight attendant told me. I looked around and it seemed that I was the only one in the plane. Mental note, no more early morning flights. "Thank you." I told her and stood up. I exited the plane (alone) and grabbed my luggage in the baggage place (I have no idea what the name is). No one knew that I was going home this early so no one was waiting for me. I hailed a cab and gave the address to my house. In a few minutes, we finally reached my house. I paid the fare and walked to the front door. "Everything seemed to be in place." I commented as I looked at how everything was. I knew that Paul would take care of my house but I could not help not to check on it. I opened the front door and Pookie was waiting already. She barked excitedly as I picked her up. "I missed you!" I cooed her as she licked my face. She was happy to see my as well. I placed her down and again, looked around. Everything was in order but there was no sign of Paul anywhere? "Where's Paulie?" I asked the dog hoping that she would answer. She just barked and ran away. "Thanks for nothing." I carried my luggage upstairs so I could arrange my things already. I was thinking of clearing some stuff away to make way to the new clothes that I bought. I opened the door to my room and Paul was sleeping on my bed. I looked at my watch, it was close to 10am already and he was still sleeping? I wanted to play a joke on him but there was just no time for that. "Paul. I'm here." I said as I opened my bags. Paul moved a little bit and slowly, his eyes opened. He looked at me with confusion in his eyes. "Here already?" He asked sleepily as he snuggled with one of my pillows. "Yup. I have to fix my things then I'm hopping to the office to catch up on some work." I told him cheerfully. "I guess everything is all right now." Paul stood up and scratched his chest as he looked around the room. "Yeah. JC and I are back together." I answered. "Together again?" Paul exclaimed. "Yeah, what's so hard to believe with that?" I chuckled a little bit. I walked to my closet and started to pick out the clothes that I was putting away. "Are you sure with this? I don't wanna undergo that again." Paul said. "Come on, Paul. You know that fights are part of relationships. We settled it and I'm really happy that we are together once again." I told him. "Fine." Paul said rolling his eyes. "But don't cry to me when you two fight again." "If I remembered correctly, you were forcing yourself to me and I didn't cry to you." I pointed at him slowly losing my cool. "Oh! I'm so sorry that I was concerned with your sorry depressed ass!" Paul said sarcastically. "Well, this sorry depressed ass didn't need any of your concern." I shouted. "I'll remember that next time." He said as he dressed up. "Fine!" I answered. "Fine!" He shouted and walked out of the room. I just closed my eyes trying to maintain my composure. Maybe it was the fact that I didn't sleep that much today. I just dropped all the clothes that I was holding and walked out of my room. I heard the door close loudly. Pookie then came running to me. I picked her up and walked to the kitchen to prepare her some food. I fed my dog and left the house. I hoped that I was calm enough when I reach the office. Snapping at others was the last thing that I wanted to do. My cell phone began to ring. I read the caller's name on the screen. Josh. "Hey Josh." I answered the phone. "Hi there! You in Florida already?" He asked. His voice was a little hoarse so he must have just wakened up. "Yeah. I'm on my way to work actually." I told him. "You know you shouldn't be working today. You just got home from an early flight." JC noted. "I know but I have to talk to Matt and start on all the things that I left. I wasn't that productive for the last weeks." I told him. "Sorry about that." Josh said somberly. "There's nothing for you to be sorry. Let's just keep that in the past and just move on, okay?" I told JC. "Yeah." He answered. "So, what are you upto today?" I asked as I slowed down to a stop because of a red light. "Relaxing a bit at the moment and then later, we would be going to Texas." Josh replied. "Good luck on that." I said. "Hey, I'll talk to you later. It's tough to drive while talking on the phone." "Okay. Talk to you later." Josh told me. "I love you." I said. "I love you too. Bye." Josh ended the call. I placed the phone on the passenger seat and concentrated on the road. After a few more minutes, I reached the office. Even if it was a Sunday, I knew that Matt stays in the office. I parked my car and walked inside. To my surprise, Will was there. "Hey!" I called. Will spun around and grinned when he saw me. "Finally! It has been boring and chaotic without you here." Will said as he approached me and gave me an embrace. "Yeah, I'm back in action." I said. "Matt here?" "Of course! He's just in his office." Will answered. "I'll see him first, okay?" I told Will who just nodded. I walked to Matt's office and knocked. "Come in." I heard Matt's voice. I opened the door and walked in. "What are you doing here?" Matt asked with a smile when he saw me. "I work here." I answered. "Smart ass." He said with a chuckle. "You alright now?" He asked. "Never been better." I told him. "I just wanna catch up on work. I've been lagging for a few weeks now." I said. "You know that it's okay. You haven't had your break for a few years now and everyone can manage." Matt dismissed. "So I don't have anything to do?" I asked scratching my head. "Actually there is. Jive still wants to work with us." Matt told me. "The past deal was scrapped but if you want to work with this project. It's okay." "I think I'll work on this one." I told him. "Who am I gonna work with?" I asked. "The acts assigned to you before. I have given the others their projects before all the issues came out, remember? So you can handle, um..." Matt trailed off as he searched for the papers. "NSYNC, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and Aaron Carter." Matt said looking at me. "Okay." I answered. "Great. There's nothing big or special to add yet so you have to just make a framework and a theme for each." Matt told me. I nodded. "That's all?" I asked. "That's it for now." Matt told me. "Okay, I'll just brainstorm a little bit now and start on it tomorrow." I told him. He just nodded and I walked out of the room. -------------------- End of Chapter Hello everyone!
