If you couldn't accept themes of homosexuality and the like, please don't read on. This is a story concerning gay males having intimate relationships and is considered FOR ADULTS ONLY due to its sexual theme and contents. BUT if you really like this stuff, please don't tell others. Everything in this story is purely FICTIONAL. Or in simpler terms, it's not true!!! Even if this story involves NSYNC, a real, successful American singing group, and a fictitious character, all that happens in here is fictional... again, it's not true. If there are instances that it is similar to what happened in the real world, it doesn't mean that it's really true. I don't know anything about their sexuality, as far as the I and the world know, they're straight as an arrow so I dunno if they're gay (but I do have my speculations) or not but I wrote this out of freedom of speech and my love for these guys and slash fiction. I don't own or know NSYNC personally. AGAIN, it's NOT TRUE!!! but don't we all hope that it's true... hehehehe... * First Words * Hi guys. This is my 3rd work here in the boyband section of the Nifty Archives. I dunno why I called it "What I See" but I just ran out of ideas for a title and thought of something simple. So the title, What I See was born *giggle*. I dunno if I can manage my 3 stories at the same time but Crossed Paths is in its "season break" and Reformation is still there. But I'll really try my best to update all my stories. Remember, I love feedbacks. Mail me at my NEW Addie at yr_ry_@hotmail.com ------------------------ What I See Chapter 25 ------------------------ I drowned myself in work for the next few days but I did remember to eat mainly because Josh would call me during lunch time and remind me to eat. If not for that, I would have broken my promise because I was really eager to finish everything. Since I wanted to alot all my attention to Josh, I just had to do as much as work as possible or even finish the project if it was possible. I didn't want to spoil my time with Josh because of work. The phone rang. "Kyle Sanders." I said as I typed more codes for the site of Britney Spears. I have completed the Backstreet and the Aaron Carter sites and almost finished for Britney and NSYNC. It was a quick process since all the information and things that I have to include were with me already and all I was doing were simple ones (in my opinion) at the moment. I wanted to put up something already. "Busy?" Josh said. "I'm finishing Britney." I told him. "And hopefully NSYNC too." I said. "You do know what time is it." He said. I looked at my watch and it read 12:15pm. I just sighed. "It's lunch time. I know, I know. I'm gonna go now for lunch. Thanks for reminding me again." I said as I stretched my body. "It's no problem. Anything for you, babe." Josh told me lovingly. "Where you at now?" I asked as I saved all the files that I changed. "On our way to Dallas. That's our final concert as of now and then I'm going that way! Yes!" Josh cheered. "I really can't wait. One more night without you and then we're together once again." I said emotionally. The growing anticipation that I had was taking its toll. I was beginning to miss my nights wrapped around Josh's strong arms. I wanted to feel how he strokes my nape lightly as I slowly drift to an amazing sleep. And I wanted to wake up seeing him staring at me lovingly with a smile ready for me. "Me too." Josh answered. "You eating yet?" I heard Will asked me. It startled me a bit. "Wait for me. I'm out in a sec." I told him. Will nodded. "Josh, I'm gonna go eat lunch now, okay? You eat yours as well and have a great time in the show later. Love you." I said. "Okay. I love you too. Bye!" Josh said hanging up the phone. I placed the phone back to its cradle and stood up. "Where are we gonna eat?" I asked Will as I fixed my station. I scanned my things hoping that I didn't forget anything to do. I walked to Will's direction. "How about that place where Matt brought you?" Will said. "That's perfect. You're gonna love that place." I told him happily. "Your car or mine?" "Let's just take yours. You're the one who knows the way anyway." He said. Well, it made sense to me. We walked to my car and off we went to eat for lunch. "Your beau going home?" He asked. Only the family and Ken knew that my boyfriend was a pop star and I wanted to keep it that way. All Will knew was that Josh travels a lot. "Yeah. He's going home tomorrow, so don't expect me to be there." I answered him. "I'm really excited about it." "Yeah! You've been moping around for the last few weeks and then you disappear and then you work yourself to death. Jeez, what's next?" He said laughing. "Disappear again." I replied with a laugh. "I'm finishing the sites for Jive then I'm continuing that at home or whenever. I'm thinking of coming with Josh in his travels actually." I shared my plans. At the moment, those were my plans and I knew that Josh would be extremely happy with that news. "As much as I hate the idea of not seeing you in the office, I think you deserve this." Will told me. "You've been slaving for three years already and I think you got to enjoy yourself, even if that means traveling and having wild kinky sex." Will laughed. "We're here." I said as I parked my car in a vacant spot. It wasn't that busy at that hour. We entered the diner and saw Al. He waved at us and I waved back. We settled on a nice spot by the window. The cute waiter that served Matt and I a few nights back was the one serving again. "I see you again." I said. "Yeah!" He said. I finally got a good look of his name tag. His name was Corey. He handed us each a menu. "Take your time. The place isn't busy anyway." He told us with a smile. I skimmed through the different items trying to decide which looked good. "I'll get the sweet and sour pork and iced tea." Will said. I didn't know that they have Chinese here. "I'll get the roast beef and iced tea." I told Corey who scribbled it on his little pad. He surely looked cute doing that. We handed back the menu to Corey and he scurried away. "Ain't that boy cute?" I said to Will. "I dunno. I wasn't paying attention and I'm straight, remember?" Will retorted. I just rolled my eyes. After a few minutes, Corey brought our orders and left quickly. "I think he has a crush on you." Will told me. "Please!" I said dismissing what Will said. "Seriously? He kept on glancing at you subtly and then he would blush. That's why he left so quickly. It's like high school all over!" Will laughed. "Stop it! He has no crush on me. And I'm pretty happy with my boyfriend." I told him but I couldn't help not to blush as well. Corey has a crush with me? Please. "Fine! Be like that. Ignore the obvious." Will said as he stuffed his mouth with a piece of pork. We chatted and joked around until we were finished with our meals. "Man! That was good stuff." Will said after he burped. "I know." I said. I called Corey for the bill. He handed me the bill. "My treat, Will." I told Will. "No fair!" Will complained. "Uh-uh! I brought you here. Pay next time and I'm not gonna see your sorry ass for the next few days." I told him as I paid for our meal. I even gave Corey a big tip. "Thanks for the great service." I called. "No problem, sir." Corey said with a blush. "Don't call me sir. I just sound so old." I laughed. "My name is Kyle." I told him. He nodded and walked away. "Man! He got it bad." Will commented. "Stop it." I told him laughing. We left the place and drove back to the office to finally go back to work and hopefully, finish what I was doing. When I left the office at 6:00 pm, I had a big grin on my face. I achieved my goal and finished all the sites. It wasn't that spectacular because it was sort of a rush job for me but Matt said that it was great. I had nothing to do for the next few days or even weeks! It meant that I could give my full attention to Josh and probably even join him in touring if it would be okay with him. I could pay for my fare and other expenses since I haven't had any vacation and my bank account was good. I drove to the grocery to pick up some food and stuff so even if we wouldn't buy food for the next few days, we wouldn't die of hunger. I stocked up on chips, milk (for me), juice, tea, and fruits and picked up some frozen stuff that we could just microwave. I got some fish, steaks, and chicken that I could cook some time. The compartment of my car was almost filled with all the bags of grocery that I got. When I got home, I fed Pookie and started to tidy up a bit. The house wasn't really in chaos but I was just seeing some flaws that I thought need to be fixed. My freakiness with cleanliness was in full force. I changed the sheets of the bed and pillows and vacuumed in the den. When I was done, it was 10:30 pm already. After checking every room in the house, I went to my room to prepare for a nice soothing bath. It was truly refreshing. I didn't realize that I was really tired from work in the office and work in the house. I felt so many sore spots in my body and I would really hoped for a nice massage but the warm water was a good substitute at the moment. Once finished, I wore a pair of boxers and dialed Dee's phone. "Hello!" Dee shouted. I could hear a lot of noise in the line. "Hello Dee!" I said as I jumped on the bed. "Don't touch that!" She screamed. "Sorry for that. I'm in the club and everything seems to be in chaos." Dee told me. "Aaaw! Dee not having fun?" I teased as I looked for the most comfortable position for lying down. "It's not funny." She said dully. "You! Put that there!" She ordered. "Why did you call? It's odd." She laughed. "Can't I call my old sister?" I said with mock hurt. "Cut the crap! You don't call. We call you when we need anything." She stated. "Well, yeah." I said with a laugh. "I'm just full of energy right now. I wanted to call Josh but he has a concert right now so I don't want to disturb him. And I'm so so excited coz he's gonna go here tomorrow and I really really miss him already." I said happily. "Jeez, you sound like a cheerleader that got a date with the quarterback." Dee told me. "You're just jealous!" I told her. "Now, you're an infant!" She laughed. "Paul is still not talking with you." She stated. "I don't really care right now. I'm happy and I'm good. If he still thinks that Josh and I aren't good for each other, he better not talk with me as well." I informed Dee. It was unfair for Paul to just judge me like that. I knew that Josh and I could do it. We just had to spend more time together and work out the kinks in our relationship. "You men are so stubborn." Dee said. "As much as I want to chat with you in this momentous phone call, I can't. Goodbye." Dee hung up the phone. I just rolled my eyes and placed the phone on the table beside the bed. Again, I looked for the most comfortable position that I could sleep. I looked at the clock on the table beside my bed. "I need a picture of Josh there." I said to myself as I closed my eyes and drifted to a peaceful slumber with no fitful dreams. I woke up at 7:00am the next day with a smile on my face. "It's the day." I said happily. I went through my morning routine and dressed casually since I was gonna prepare lunch first before I fetch Josh. I grabbed my cell phone and I got an unread SMS message. I opened it and it was from Josh just giving me the flight information. He was gonna arrive by 11:45am. I have a lot of time to make lunch for the two of us and make myself presentable. I was thinking of a big lunch for Josh since it was our first time meeting once again. I started marinating the roast chicken and boiling water for the minestrone. After that, I have to deal with the Caesar's salad and mashed potatoes. And finally, I have to start with the chocolate cake. I knew that it seemed like a feast but I was just so happy. I looked at the watch and it read 10:40am. I was done with almost everything except the chocolate cake that needed some decorating. It meant that I had 20 minutes to dress up and the remaining minutes to go to the airport. The airport was around 20 minutes away but I didn't want to risk it because there could be heavy traffic or some accident. I decided on the new clothes that Ken picked for me. I have to use it anyway so this occasion fitted perfectly. I fixed my hair with some of the hair products that Ken wanted me to buy and sprayed some CK cologne that I have. After checking myself one last time in the mirror, I left the house and drove to the airport. Good thing I left early because traffic was a bitch and parking was bad as well. I was sitting by the waiting area by 11:40. I had 5 minutes to spare and the PA just announced that Josh's flight just landed. I stood up and looked at the people who arrived. If I knew Josh correctly, he would be sporting a cap and a pair of dark eyeglasses. It must be a pop star thing. Ten minutes have passed and there was still no sign of Josh. I was getting impatient and antsy because he wasn't still there. "Where is he?" I asked no one in particular. Then, I spotted a lone person walking. He had a fisherman's hat with dark shades in a white tank top, jeans and flip-flops. "Josh!" I shouted. I knew that no one would recognize him if I used Josh since he was known as JC worldwide. He looked around and he smiled when he spotted running at his direction. When I reached him, I gave him a big hug. "I missed you." He whispered at my ear. "I missed you too." I said as I tried to hold back tears. I was extremely happy. It was like falling in love once again. I then became self-conscious. "Come on, there are lots of people here." I told him. He only had a duffel bag with him and even if I wanted to carry it for him, he declined. When we reached my car, he removed his cap and glasses. My heart began to beat faster upon seeing Josh's beauty. "Looking good." He told me that prompted me to blush. I stepped in the car and opened the passenger's seat. Once inside, he gave me a breathtaking kiss. It sent jolts of electricity coursing through my body. "I wanted to do since the first time I saw you." He said to me breaking the kiss and leaving me in a daze. "I needed that." I told him. I started the engine and began our journey back home. I kept glancing at him trying to see if there were any changed in him. "You lost weight." I stated as I turned right trying to pick an alternative route because of the heavy traffic. "I hoped that you won't notice that." He said somberly. "I'll make sure that you gain it." I told him with a grin. After a few minutes, we arrived at home. "Lunch is already prepared and you're gonna finish it all." "Yes, mom." He teased. I opened the door and Pookie came running to Josh barking happily. "I missed you too, Pookie." Josh picked Pookie up and let the dog lick his face. He just kept on giggling. I went straight to the kitchen and looked if everything was still in order. The table was still nice. "Lunch is ready." I called as I brought out the soup and the salad. "How many are you gonna feed?" Josh asked me with humor. "Well, there's me, Pookie and you, silly!" I replied. "Just sit down and I'll bring out the chicken and cake." I told him as I walked to the oven to take out the chicken. Josh's eyes just bulged out. "You don't have to do this, Kyle." Josh said. "Nonsense! I enjoy doing nice things for you." I told him as I carried the roasted chicken and placing it on the dining table. "I'll let the cake chill first in the fridge." I then sat beside him. "I don't know how to thank you. After what happened," Josh started. I placed my finger on his lips. "The past is the past. You just bother yourself with what we have now and what we're gonna get in the future. I want you to fill up and by Sunday, I want you to gain the weight you lost." I told him. I knew that it was impossible but it was fun doing it. Josh just smiled and started digging in. As I ate my lunch, I couldn't help not to look at him and smile. JC was there in front of me eating like it was his last meal. "This is good." Josh commented. "Thank you." I replied with a nod. He just smiled sweetly at me and it just made my stomach fill with butterflies. "How are the others?" I tried to conceal the excitement that I was feeling. "Everyone is great." Josh said after he gulped the glass of orange juice. "Lance wants to go to space so I think he's gonna go to Russia sometime. Joey was working with a small film called My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It's gonna be out in summer, I think. Chris is still, um, working with his clothing line and his golf. And Justin is gonna work on a solo album." Josh informed me. "Solo album? You're breaking up?" I said surprised. "No!" Josh answered with a chuckle. "We're gonna have a hiatus after the tour. It's sort of a long break for all of us." Josh told me. "For real?" I asked happily. "Yeah. I can spend it with you." Josh answered. It was so cool. I was feeling an overload of joy already. First, Josh arrived and then this great news. "Anyway, how was your stay with Ken?" He inquired. "It was fun!" I giggled remembering all the antics that Ken pulled with me. "He dragged me to this club and made me drunk." I said. "That's why Justin said that you were acting weird when he talked with you." Josh chuckled. "Yeah! Then, we toured the district and ended up in the mall where he maxed my credit card because of new clothes, products and stuff. He picked all of the clothes and let me buy them." I told him. "He does have great taste." Josh said. I just rolled his eyes. "He has! And we have to go shopping too some time." "I hope you're not as bad as him. He dragged me to every store in the mall. I was so tired." I complained. "Jeez, he's like Justin!" He laughed. "I won't tire you in shopping. Maybe in other ways." Josh said raising his eyebrow and smiling mischievously. I just shook my head laughing. We only had a few leftovers and Josh devoured most of the food I cooked. It made me happy because I knew that he needed it. He helped me clearing the table and cleaning up. Josh played with Pookie and I just looked at him with a smile in my face. I was satisfied at that point and couldn't have asked anything more. -------------------- End of Chapter Chapter 25 everyone! Joshua has arrived! Again, I'm still in my light chapters mood.
