"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Mark sighed. "I don't know. I just felt that I had to talk with you." Shane just nodded. "Yeah well... how are you and Kian?" "Good, just fine," Mark answered. "And you?" "Fine, I guess." "Well, that's... good." 'You asked me how I'd been I guess that's when I smiled and said just fine Oh, but baby I was lying' They stood there a while in an awkward silence. "Well, I better get down before Kian starts to wonder." "Probably," Shane said as Mark started walking towards the lift. When the door to the lift shut, and there was no sign left of Mark, Shane leaned to the door and closed his eyes, again wanting to cry. What I really meant to say Is I'm dying here inside I miss you more each day There is not a night I haven't cried And baby here's the truth I'm still in love with you That's what I really meant to say' 'And as you walked away The echo of my words Cut just like a knife Cut so deep it hurts' Bryan talked with Anto about what they were going to do that day. Kian stood, and waited for Mark to come. He sometimes stole a glance at Bryan, and he noticed that Bryan sometimes was looking at him too. Though when they had eye contact, they both quickly looked away. They both really felt like crap, and the break up was just as much Bryan's fault as Kian's; If Bryan hadn't cheated, Kian wouldn't have 'comforted' Mark more than as a friend... but then again, Kian didn't had to continue 'comforting' Mark if it really was Bryan he wanted... They both were too pride, and blamed each other, even though they both knew that they were both wrong... I held back the tears Held onto my pride And watched you go I wonder if you'll ever know' The lift opened with a ding, and Mark came out. "Hey there, Sexy," Mark said as he approached Kian. Kian smiled vaguely. "Hi to you too." Bryan was looking towards Kian again, and saw Mark approaching him. "I'm sorry, Anto," he said, "but I haft to go upstairs and get some stuff..." "Yeah Ok." Bryan took a deep breath as he walked pass them. "Hi, Bryan," Mark said smiling. "Hi Mark," Bryan replied, and tried to smile as if everything was Ok. He pressed the button to the lift, and almost jumped desperately for the lift to come as soon as possible, as he felt Kian's eyes on him. Finally the lift opened, and Bryan saw Shane there. "Shane, we need to talk," he said and stopped him, as Shane was about to go out of the lift. "Why?" "You know why!" Bryan said. Mark saw what happened. "What's with Shane and Bryan?" he asked, mostly to himself. "They slept together." Mark looked at Kian. "Bryan? And Shane?" "Yeah, why? Does it bother you?" "No, I guess not... I mean, of course it doesn't! Why should it?" Kian shrugged. 'What I really meant to say... That's what I really meant to say' "What is it?" Shane asked worried. Bryan just looked at him, before he stepped closer to him. "What you said earlier..." "What? What did I say earlier?" "About that I would regret what happened with us last night..." "What about it?" "I don't," Bryan said, looking into those deep hazel-eyes, that was filled with confusion. Very unusual; Shane always had control, and was never confused. "What?" Shane asked, almost whispering. Bryan reached out a hand to his face. "I don't regret it," he said, louder now. "I loved it..." Bryan leaned closer to him. Shane's first instinct was to struggle as Bryan's face came closer to his, but as their lips brushed together, Shane felt powerless, and just gave himself to him. 'What I really meant to say Is that I'm really not that strong No matter how I try I'm still holding on And here's the honest truth I'm still in love with you That's what I really meant to say'
