Chapter 226

The next week flew by, the families adjusting to their new homes and new lifestyles.

Lucas and his soulmates visited all the new abodes, their friends and family returning the visits.

They all saw the changed beauty of the new homes, each family adding its own style and beauty to their décor.

Gatherings of love continued all week, everyone feeling the community of love thriving.

Several of Lucas' family and friends had ventured out into the world surrounding them, they followed by paparazzi and media hordes.

Lucas' new realities thrived on the world's souls.

The news from the outside world was of a gathering of awaiting wonder and hope.

Lucas' father had called him often, as had his family, their concerns and love flowing across the country.

The world was waiting with bated breath, a consensus of hope and wonder filling the airwaves and papers.

Lucas remained quiet about that part of his life, enjoying only the surrounding love.

His three soulmates sensed that love was thriving within him, they all benefiting from his giving love the most.

Nights and days of soft and intense passion had fed them all.

Everyone sensed Lucas' calmness, the coming realities not changing his giving love.

The community was in its truest sense a community of love.

Lucas had talked with everyone individually, his giving love calming all their hidden fears about the upcoming magical ending of his path.

He and Adam had talked often, their friendship and love seen by everyone.

The tattooed singer always left Lucas with a feeling of deep love and connection.

Colton and Lucas had lengthy talks as well, the young man feeling the other man's giving, paternal love.

Colton sensed Lucas was awaiting some sign of when he was to venture back into the real world, to continue the path of destiny to its end.

That reality came a few days later, shrouded in Lucas' love and magic.

Early Wednesday Morning

The earliness of the day's dawning light was interrupted by the shrill ring of a telephone.

Lucas moved in bed, picking up the phone off its base, answering it on the third ring.

His three soulmates stirred beside him, Lance's arms wrapping around Lucas' risen waist.

His opening eyes met Lucas' violet, the young man quietly talking into the telephone.

Justin and Josh's blue pools opened, the two staring at Lucas as well.

The young man softly smiling at them, rising from the bed, the three taking in his naked beauty, the young man walking out onto the balcony, still talking on the phone.

Lance glanced at the clock on the nightstand, the hour just after five.

"Who's calling so early?" Justin yawned, wrapping his arms around Josh's warm form, his head going against Josh's chest.

"I don't know, Jus. But I sense Lucas' alertness. I think he was expecting this call." Lance said, the man sitting up more, looking towards the open balcony doors.

The other two looked at Lance, the man rising from the bed, wrapping his nakedness in a velour robe, walking towards the balcony.

Lucas walked back into the room, the phone in his hand, the call over.

"Sorry, my loves. I didn't want the earliness of the truth to awaken you." Lucas smiled, Lance wrapping his arms around Lucas' naked form.

"Everything okay, Lucky?" Josh said from the bed, Lucas smiling towards him.

"Everything is fine, my love. The world is nearly ready at last." Lucas smiled, the three looking into his violet pools, all three seeing a tinge of emerald glow in their centers.

"I'm ready as well, Lucky." Justin smiled, rising from the bed to his knees, his center showing at its full girth.

Josh and Lance smirked, Lucas smiling at Justin.

"You're always ready, our HD." he said, Justin smiling at him.

"It's early. More time for fun before the boys wake up." he smiled seductively, Lucas smiling at him.

"They're already opening their eyes to the world's day, my men. They need that day to begin with their fathers' love.  And I need to go on a short voyage. I won't be long. I'll return to the five of my heart." Lucas said, the three looking at each other.

"Do you need our love, my love?" Josh said, Lucas walking over to the bed, climbing back into it, snuggling against Josh.

"I just need your warmth, my love. Jus and Lancy can go get the boys. I'll be back soon." Lucas said, his head going against Josh's chest, the young man closing his eyes.

The moment his eyes closed, a soft blue glow materialized around his naked form.

The three men watched Lucas' spirit rise out of himself, the soft mirrored image smiling, then disappearing instantly.

"Wow! To see it so close, that magic's amazing!" Lance said, showing the same look of wonder as his soulmates.

"Where's he gone off to?" Justin said, rising from the bed, Lance handing him his bathrobe.

"No idea, my love. The world opens to his magic and love. We'll just have to wait till he returns." Lance said with soft wonder, all three marveling at Lucas' moving magic.

"I'll hold him till he returns, my loves." Josh said, kissing the sleeping Lucas' forehead, the man watching Justin's naked beauty disappear under his robe.

"We'll bring the boys in. We'll all be here when he returns." Lance smiled, he and Justin walking out of the bedroom, heading for their sons.

Josh looked down at Lucas' beautiful face.

"Come back to our love, my love. We are all ready." he softly said, the room silent.

Via Salaria, Rome, Italy

The ten men in the room looked around the small stone chapel, taking in its ancient religious quietness.

The ten each stared at their other religious friends, taking in all their quiet wonder.

"Why here, Your Holiness?" the Archbishop of Canterbury said, the head of the Anglican church looking around the small stone room.

"I do not know, Rowan. He only asked that we meet here on this date in the afternoon hours." Pope Francis said, the other nine looking at him with reverence.

"The time is already upon us? We are not ready." Ieronymous, the Archbishop of Athens--and head of the Greek Orthodox Church--said, seated with the other leaders.

"I do not know, my old friend. I only know that I await his reasoning with faith and wonder." Pope Francis said, the other nine nodding.

"It is unheard of that we ten should meet in private seclusion so far from our own faiths. The outside world will know of this soon enough, I believe. There are many eyes outside." Yitzhak Yosef, Chief Rabbi of Israel quietly said, the others nodding.

The ten men had flown into Rome, then driven to the secluded catacombs, their attendants and guards waiting outside, the ten hidden in privacy and alone.

"It is a sign of the changing times, my friends. He that we have given our faith to shall lead us forward. I await his words." Patriarch Kyrill of Russia said, his voice booming in the small room.

"To look upon him again will fill my heart with heavenly devotion. I stand ready with all of my faith." the Dali Lama said, folding his hands in prayer.

"We all stand ready to follow him to God's destiny." the pontiff said, bowing his head.

"We all stand together under God's love."

The ten men looked towards the front altar of the small church, Lucas standing in front of the altar, the young man having spoken.

An old wooden cross hung on the wall behind him, the man standing in a soft blue light.

The ten men stood up from the small pews they sat in, about to go to their knees, Lucas' moving hand stopping them, his image now normal.

"We kneel only before God with our love. I warrant only your friendship." the young man smiled, walking forward.

He saw some tears in some of the older men's eyes, the young man's face showing his giving love.

"The time is here, Lucas?" Pope Francis said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Almost, Your Holiness. How finds the world's faith?" he said, the ten men trading looks.

"Our churches, temples, mosques, and houses of faith are full, Lucas. Your visions and magic have stoked the hearts and souls of all men." Ahmed El-Tayeh of Egypt said, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar bowing to the young man.

"The wonders of God's love shall soon be known to all, my faithful friends." Lucas said, his violet pools looking around the ancient room.

"It is a surprising place you have led us to, Lucas." Pope Francis said, Lucas smiling, moving his hand, guiding the ten men back to their seats, Lucas continuing to look around the room.

"A chapel of stone love to God's devotion. Created eons ago." the young man said, Pope Francis nodding.

"Yes, Lucas. These catacombs were created in Roman times. Ancient patriarchs of our faith lay buried within its lower rooms."
The young man smiled, nodding his head.

"She warranted their dignity's reward so long ago." he said, the pontiff looking at his friends surrounding him.

"St. Priscilla of the Benedictine Order warranted her own dignity, Lucas. These are the Catacombs si Priscilla, that ancient Roman noblewoman a faithful servant of Christianity." the pontiff said, Lucas smiling at him.
"She was so much more, my friend." Lucas said, the Pope looking surprised.

"What do you mean, Lucas?" the Archbishop of Canterbury said, staring at the young man.

"More than man walks on God's paths, my friends. Those of all angelic devotion guide man forward." the young man said, the ten looking surprised.

"Are you saying that woman from that ancient time was an angel?" Pope Francis said, looking surprised, Lucas nodding his head.

"They are beings of all eons of time, Your Holiness. She has created paths on many lines of faith." Lucas said, the young man staring at the ten.

"The time is upon us, my friends. In less than two weeks the battle will commence."
The ten rose again, some crossing themselves, all staring at Lucas.

"To say that we are ready would show our own weaknesses, my young friend. All we can do is have faith in your and His protecting love." the Patriarch of Russia said, Lucas smiling at the Russian.

"We all have faith in his guiding love, Kyrill. I walk on His greater path." Lucas said, the ten bowing to him.

"What is to happen, Lucas? We will see all done." the Dali Lama said, Lucas staring at all ten.

"The world needs to see all of it, and it shall. For now, the ten of you will stand by your faithful. Today the final path begins. I am tasked with showing a greater truth today. And from that will come the coming end of this. And faith, love, and magic will be forever in the world's eyes." Lucas said, the ten nodding.

"What are you going to do?" Ahmed said, Lucas staring at him.

"As he showed God's light, so shall he. And that will feed the world's heart. He cannot stand in his shoes, he can only be himself. They of hope will mirror the realities. Only have faith in your faith in God. He is of magic, but he is not him. Remember these words, and voice your own devotion. I can only be myself."

"Who are these men you speak of, Lucas?" Pope Francis said, Lucas smiling at him.

"He of your faith, he of the giving love. I am as I am, as he himself was. We all walk our paths."

The young man moved, walking back to the altar, staring up at the old ancient wooden cross above him.

"From evil life shall spring anew, and from that act which I instigate today, the path awaits." Lucas said, turning back to the ten.

"Thank you for standing by God's faith. They will all need you ten of faith to walk the truer path ahead. For now, hold my love in your hearts. It will grow with so much unbelievable faith." Lucas smiled, the young man suddenly moving his hands, a soft white light moving from them, the ten feeling that light enter their own selves, the ten going to their knees.

They raised their heads, staring at an empty altar before them.

"The love! The wonder of it! They both are life!" the Russian patriarch said, raising his hands, his face covered in tears.

The nine around him raised theirs as well, the room silent with faithful devotion, and emotion.

Back Home

Lucas' violet pools opened, a small face staring at him.

"Wakes, Daddy! Me feels your love!" Little Joshy said, the boy on Lucas' chest.

Lucas smiled, his lips meeting his son's, the boy snuggling into his chest.

"He wuvs you toos, Daddy!" Little Justy said, climbing onto Lucas' chest beside his brother, kissing his father's lips.

"Hello, my sons. Daddy loves both of you." Lucas smiled, his eyes meeting two sets of blue and one of green, his three husbands seated around him.

"Welcome back, Lucky." Josh smiled, leaning down and kissing his lips.

"Thanks, my love. I taste our HD on your lips. I take it his love moved on his own? How long was I out?" Lucas smiled, Justin smiling at him.

"Long enough, Luke. I got Josh cleaned after we washed the boys." he smiled, Lance smirking.

"He meant I babysat our clean little angels, while these two rocked each other's worlds." he smiled, his lips kissing Lucas'.

Justin kissed him next, the man feeling their love and concern.

"Sorry that I bailed on the fun, my loves. I had something to do." Lucas smiled, the three smiling at him.
"We understand, Luke. The magic took charge again. We abide by its needs. We're just glad you're back." Lance said, Lucas smiling at all three.

"I'm back and I'm hungry. I'll go over the story of my voyage while we eat."

"I started breakfast, Luke. It's warming downstairs." Justin smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Our men will keep it warm for us. I need my scrub brush first." Lucas smiled, the man smiling and dumping his sons on the bed, the two boys giggling, Josh and Lance smiling, picking both up.

"We'll feed them first. We'll wait. But we want pictures." Josh smiled, Justin laughing.

"I'll videotape it all." he grinned, the man pulled into Lucas' arms, the man rising from the bed, Lance and Josh smiling at Lucas' naked beauty.

Justin moaned, feeling Lucas' strong arms around him.

"Come on beautiful. I need a good scrubbing." he smiled, carrying the man into the bathroom, Josh and Lance smiling and heading with the kids out of the room.

Twenty minutes later, Justin and Lucas walked into the kitchen, the two wearing polo shirts and jeans, Lance and Josh smiling at them.

Their two sons were in their carriers, both sucking on bottles.

"About time. We thought that maybe he'd overwhelmed you." Josh smiled, Lucas kissing his lips.

"No, I'm still standing. No matter how hard he thrusts." Lucas smiled, Justin beaming.

"I'll wear you down yet, youngster." he smiled, Lance slapping his husband's butt.

"Josh and I will change quickly. You two dish out the food." he smiled, Josh rising from his seat, Lucas smiling and heading for the stove.

Fifteen minutes later the four sat down together, diving into Justin's warm breakfast.

"So, what happened this morning, Lucky? Where did you go?" Justin said, handing Josh a platter of sausages and bacon.

Lucas quietly talked to the three men, the three quietly listening in awed wonder.

"The Catacombs of Priscilla? You mean. . .the Carlisle's Priscilla? She created those catacombs so long ago?" Lance said, looking surprised.
"The one in the same being, Lance." Lucas said, sipping at his coffee, Josh looking at him.

"But why would she create that shrine so many years before Dathan's existence, and her own, the first Lady of the Light?" Lance said, the three looking at Lucas.

"For destiny, Lance. A place created for a later meeting of the faithful." Lucas said, Justin staring at him.

"You mean she created that place that long ago, so that one day you would come there to talk to the ten heads of the faiths of the world?  That seems pretty far-fetched." he said, Lucas nodding.

"But why, Lucas? Why that place?" Josh said, Lucas kissing his husband's lips, wiping them after.

"Chew before you speak, babe." he smiled, Josh blushing softly, seeing only love in Lucas' violet pools.

"That place will be the start, my friends. For what I gave those ten at the end of our meeting will be the faith of the world going ahead. And one day a greater truth will show itself there."

The three looked at Lucas, Justin's hand going in his.

"So, what are you going to do today?" he said, the three thinking the same question.

"I am going to walk another's path to lead them to their faith. And from that will come a greater truth."

The three looked at each other, Lance smiling at Lucas.

"As mysterious as ever you are, my Lucas. We three love you and will always love you." he said, Lucas smiling at him, and his other two husbands.

"My heart holds all your love, my husbands. That's all I'll need going forward." he said, the three men smiling, the infants on the table clapping their hands together.

"Plays, Dada!" Little Joshy said, Justin smiling at him.

"Alright, my boys." he smiled, the other three smiling at Justin's child-like eyes sparkling.

"You three boys head out into the backyard. Lance and I will clean up the dishes." Josh said, Lucas smiling at his husbands, Justin lifting both carriers, carrying his boys towards the patio doors.

Lucas smiled, rising from his seat and picking up the phone off its charger on the counter.

"I've a couple of calls to make, my loves." he smiled, walking with Justin through the patio doors.

Josh and Lance watched them go, their eyes meeting.

"What's he planning, Josh?" Lance said, Josh kissing his lips.

"I don't know, Lancy. All I feel is his calm love. He's not worried about anything." he said, Lance nodding.

"I feel the same, Josh. But I sense Lucas' magic is laced with determination. I felt it in his kiss."
"So did I, Lance, so did I." Josh said, the two staring towards the kitchen window, seeing Justin running around the yard with their sons, Lucas sitting on the patio steps on the phone.

The two men headed for the counter and the waiting dishes.

A half hour later Josh and Lance walked out onto the patio, smiling into the backyard.

Their two sons were seated on the grass playing with blocks and cars, their fathers beside them, but playing their own game.

Justin was laying on his back, Lucas on top of him, their lips together, Lucas' hands under Justin's shirt.

"Our boys have their toys; our Lucas has his." Josh smiled, he and Lance walking across the grass, their sons smiling at them.

"Daddy plays with Dada. He's happy." Little Justy said, Lance smiling and sitting down beside his boys.

Josh smiled, climbing on top of Lucas and Justin, Lucas smiling as Josh's lips met his earlobe.

"Can anyone play with our Timby?" he said seductively, Lucas smiling and turning his body over, Josh now on top of him.

"You'll have to go through me to get to him. And word of warning, his throttle is now lodged in my ass crack." Lucas smiled, Josh laughing, Justin blushing underneath them.

"And you both together weigh a ton. Ugh!" he moaned, Lucas laughing, the man moving to his right, taking Josh with him.

Josh now lay under Lucas, the man's lips against his.

"I was joking, you left me high and dry." Justin pouted, his sons smiling, climbing on top of him.

"You not alone, Dada! We plays with you!" Little Joshy said, Justin smiling and kissing his cheek.

"Dada loves his angels." he smiled, the three boys giggling and playing.

Lance smiled, Josh and Lucas coming up for air, Lucas smiling into his green pools.

"Wanna play with us, Lancy?" he smiled, Lance smiling and moving, joining the two, all three kissing.

"I love this, Lucky. Us four here with our boys." Josh said, Lucas smiling, his hand still under Josh's shirt, rubbing his left nipple.

"Yes, but I love the private fun as well. We need to tone it down, boy toys." he smiled, all four smiling and laughing.

The boys giggled, Lance kissing both.
"So who did you call?" Josh asked, Lucas smiling and sighing.

"A couple of people. Skyler and Trish are coming over, they're going to watch the boys." he said, his three soulmates staring at him.

"And where are we going?" Justin said, now snuggled against his three men, the five seated together, Lance guiding the boys' toys into their hands again.

"We—or rather I—have an interview downtown with someone. And I've asked a couple of friends to stand by me." Lucas said, sitting up, Justin's hand on his backside.

"I thought you weren't giving any more interviews?" Lance said, Lucas' violet pools meeting his green pools.

"This is an interview of necessity. From it, the final path will start. And the two sides will show their fate." Lucas said, staring towards the pool, its waters calm and quiet.

"Meaning what, my love?" Josh said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Meaning I'm on the final path, finally. In a short two weeks, this will end. And the love begins." Lucas smiled, his violet pools meeting the three staring at him.

"You're starting the mystery early this morning, my love." Josh said, Lucas smiling.

"As I am starting the love. I need to be wet and filled." he smiled, the man standing up, the three staring up at him, watching his clothes leave his muscular beauty.

"First one in after me owns me." the young man smiled, running toward the pool, his naked form disappearing into it.

The three looked at each other, Justin smiling.

"I need him again, guys." he said, Lance smiling and kissing his man's lips.

"Not if I get him first." he laughed, pushing Justin back onto his ass, Lance's clothes coming off, Justin regaining his position, his shirt gone in moments.

"No fair, my love!" he said, Josh laughing.

"I'll watch the boys. You three have fun. We'll join the wet love once it's calmed." he smiled, watching two naked men running towards the pool.

"Plays, Papa!" Little Joshy said, he and Justy climbing onto his chest, Josh smiling, the three lost in their own world, three others lost in theirs.

Two Hours Earlier

Zac moaned, feeling the tongue entering him.

"Oh God, Bruno! He's unstoppable." he moaned, Jeremy's head raising from between Zac's muscular legs.

"The meal filling you I'll hunger for always." he grinned, diving back into Zac's ass.
"You're going to be just as full, babe. And we're both going to have a tasty breakfast." Bruno smiled, thrusting into Jeremy behind him.

Zac's blue pools met Bruno's brown, the singer deep within Jeremy's center.

"God, I need more!" Zac moaned, Jeremy moving forward, his lips meeting Zac's, Bruno still within him.

Zac felt Jeremy's large shaft searching for its need, then its warmth entering him.

He felt Bruno's thrusting motions at that moment, his momentum sinking Jeremy's shaft deep within Zac.

"Oh God!" Zac moaned, Jeremy breaking their heated kiss, his lips diving onto Zac's left nipple, biting it.

Zac opened his eyes, gasping, two new lips meeting his, Jeremy now in the middle of an Adonis sandwich.

The three moaned and gasped, their thrusting needs building their desires.

Within moments Zac was the first to climax, his large shaft erupting between his and Jeremy's chest, his semen coating Jeremy's hairy chest.

Bruno was next, thrusting forward, filling Jeremy's ass, that setting Jeremy off, his liquid love filling Zac's center.

The three collapsed together, Jeremy and Bruno slowly pulling out, the two men falling on each side of Zac, the man feeling their sweaty warmth against him.

"That was amazing, my loves." Zac panted, Bruno's lips on his shoulder, Jeremy's attached to Zac's, both feeling their love.

"We have so much beauty to work with." Bruno smiled, Jeremy kissing his warm lips.

"And we're all full now." he smiled, Bruno smiling at him.

"Damn near dripping." he smiled, he the first to feel his husbands' needs this morning.

They'd been making love for over an hour and a half.

The three laughed, snuggling together.

"I love you, my husbands. You both send me to heaven." Jeremy smiled, Zac and Bruno smiling at him.

"I love you both as well." Bruno said, Zac and Jeremy smiling at him.

"And I love you both beyond my soul." Zac said, Jeremy and Bruno both kissing him again.

"And your soul--like your beauty--is so beautiful." Jeremy said.

"So, who wants to thank me with a warm breakfast?" Zac smiled, Bruno laughing.

"The man thinks we're his bitches." he smiled, Jeremy laughing, Zac blushing.

"I do not think that." he smiled, Bruno smiling and kissing his lips.

"Hint taken. You two cuddle, I'll get breakfast going." Jeremy smiled, about to rise out of bed, the phone on the nightstand going off, Jeremy reaching for it and answering it.

"Good morning. Oh hello, Luke. Yes, we're all up." he said into the phone, Bruno and Zac smiling at him.

Jeremy softly blushed, the two sensing Lucas had said something embarrassing.

"Okay, we're more down than up. Love's warmth calms our souls." Jeremy smiled, the other two smiling.

"Yes, alright, Luke. Can I ask why?" Jeremy said, the man quietly listening to Lucas' voice.

Zac and Bruno saw the confusion now showing on Jeremy's face.

"Alright, Luke. I'll be there. They both send their love as well." Jeremy said, closing off the phone, his two husbands staring at him.

"Everything okay, Jeremy?" Zac said, his arm going around him.

"Yes, I think. Lucas said he's going downtown today for an interview. He wants me to attend."
"You?  For what reason?" Bruno said, Jeremy staring at him.

"I don't truly know, Bruno. I just felt the deep love and need within him. He said he needed my love and strength there. He wants all three of us to go with him."

"What's the interview for?" Zac said, Jeremy shrugging his shoulders.

"He didn't say. Only that he had to call someone else. We're to be at his place for noon." Jeremy said, looking out the window of their bedroom, his two soulmates now wrapped around him.
"Ever mysterious is our Lucas." Bruno smiled.
"And magical. I felt his magic greatly through his voice." Jeremy said, his husbands looking at him, the young man smiling.

"His last words were the more confusing." Jeremy said, Zac kissing his cheek.

"What did he say?" he said, Bruno staring at both men.

"'Today life's truths shine in the actions of your soul. The inner self shall show itself. And the world will follow you.'" he said, Bruno and Zac both staring at him.

"That does sound confusing." Bruno said, Zac pulling Jeremy close.

"We both love you, Jeremy. We'll be at your sides today." Zac said, Jeremy smiling, kissing both.

"I wouldn't want you two anywhere else." he smiled, Zac and Bruno smiling at him.

"I trust Lucas and feel his protective love and magic. And I'll go wherever he needs me." Jeremy said, the other two nodding.
"As will we." Zac said, Bruno agreeing.
"Let's get cleaned up, my loves. Then I'm going to make my loves their favorite breakfast." Jeremy smiled, the three smiling and climbing out of the bed, Jeremy following his two soulmates into the bathroom, his mind on Lucas' ending words.

Pierce smiled, removing the tray from the oven, smearing butter over the top of the biscuits that were nearly done.
He returned the tray to the oven, rising to his feet, two arms wrapping around him, two lips kissing his neck.
"When did you show up, Justin?" he smiled, a hand slapping his ass, another voice laughing behind him.

Pierce smiled, turning in the arms wrapped around him, two lips meeting his.

"Now I know that's even better. Chocolate is so much better than Timberlake cream, any day." he smiled, Usher smiling and pulling him close.
"We've both had that Timberlake creamy filling. Welby cream is so much tastier." he smiled, Adam laughing behind them.

The singer walked up to the two, the three joining, trading tender kisses, little Noah in Adam's arms.

All three kissed the baby's cheeks and forehead, the infant giggling.

"You left our bed early, my love." Adam smiled, Pierce smiling at him.

"My boys were stirring, I needed to get them fed. Noah was first, the baby then needed his father's warmth." Pierce smiled, having fed the baby, then left him in bed with Adam and Usher, the two awakening to him smiling between them.

"Our son's as beautiful as his father. But Poppa's tastier." Usher smiled, Pierce laughing, kissing his lips again.
"Don't you two ever get enough?" he said, Adam's hand on his backside.

"We haven't had you yet this morning, Doctor." he smiled, kneading Pierce's butt.

"But three times yesterday should hold you both for now. I hear your stomachs growling." he smiled, the two men smiling at him, Adam's stomach growling on cue.

"Play with your son, my loves. I'll spread out the food." Pierce smiled, Usher and Adam walking over to the kitchen table, Adam guiding his son into his carrier which sat on top of it, Usher cooing at the baby, little Noah gurgling.

Pierce smiled, carrying a platter of sausages and bacon to the table, Adam smiling and taking it from him, Pierce going back for more.

Within a few minutes the three joined their son at the table, quietly eating breakfast, the phone on the counter going off.

"I'll get it, my loves." Adam smiled, setting down his coffee mug, rising and reaching for the phone.

He quietly talked into it, Usher and Pierce eating, Adam returning to the table.

"It's Lucas, Pierce. He wants to talk to you." Adam said, Pierce smiling and taking the phone from him, talking into it.

"Morning, Luke. Yes, we all slept well, thanks. Today? Why do you want that?" he said, his husbands looking at him, Pierce silently listening into the phone, the two seeing his brow raise in confusion.
"Alright. . .okay, Luke. Yes, we'll see you then." he said, closing off the phone, setting it down on the table, Adam refilling Pierce's plate with more bacon and scrambled eggs.

"Everything okay, my love?" Adam asked, Pierce nodding his head, looking deep in thought.

"I think so. Lucas has asked me to go downtown with him today. He has another interview this afternoon. We're all invited to go."
"What's the interview for? I thought he was done with interviews till after the end?" Usher said, refilling his soulmates' coffee mugs.

"He didn't say. Only that he needed us--and me specifically--to go."
"You, my love? Does he need a doctor? Is it dangerous?" Usher said, concern showing on his face now.
"I don't think so, my love. Not by his last words." Pierce said, Adam staring at him.

"I've been talking all week with him. He didn't mention another interview. What were his last words?" Adam said, the man staring out the patio doors at the pool in the backyard.

"He said, 'I need your strength, Pierce. The magic will voice its truths and the pact will show its start.'" Pierce said, the other two mulling over the confusing words.

"The pact? What's that's supposed to mean?" Usher said, Adam's hand going on his arm.

"Lucas' love is mysterious and giving. As is his magic. I trust him to show both as he needs to do. I'll be there for him." Pierce said, Adam smiling at him.

"I've already given him my total trust." Adam smiled, his soulmates smiling at him.

"Maybe he wants us to babysit Justin today?" Pierce said, the three laughing.

"I'm game for whatever he needs. We all three are. We all love him." Usher said, the three smiling at each other.

"Ay!" Little Noah said, the three men smiling at him.

"Correct, our son." Adam smiled, kissing his son's cheek, the three men smiling, quietly finishing their breakfast, Pierce's mind on something else.

A Few Hours Later

Lucas smiled, opening the front door.

"Thanks for coming over, guys. You're the last to arrive." he smiled, three men smiling at him.

"Wouldn't miss one of your lunches for anything, Luke." Nick smiled, his slim form surrounded by his two husbands.

Lucas smiled, the three men walking into his home, hugs exchanged.

"Where's Colt?" Gideon smiled, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"Your nephew is on the patio with his husbands." he smiled, the four walking through the house, Gio smiling at Lucas.

"We sensed there was another reason you asked us three here, Luke. Gid said you'd spoken some confusing words to him." Gio said, Gideon staring at Lucas.

"I sensed it was myself you were more interested to see--and need--this afternoon." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"I'll always need all of your love, guys. Today I just need Gideon's more." Lucas said, Gideon staring at him, his face changing to a smile.

"You have it, Luke. Always." he said, the four men walking out onto the patio.

The three new arrivals smiled at everyone, seeing the whole community on Lucas' patio, their friends smiling at them, greetings exchanged.

"I hope you made lots, Luke." Nick smiled, Colton hugging him and Gio, offering to get the drinks, his uncle kissing his cheek.

"Haven't seen you and your men since Sunday dinner, Colt. Where have you five been hiding?" Gideon smiled, Colton smiling at him.
"We've been deep within the love, Uncle Gideon." he smiled, his four soulmates smiling at him.

"Know the feeling." Nick smiled, Gio winking at him.

"I don't think you've been as deep as these five young studs, Carter." Chris laughed, Piney rolling his eyes, the two seated with Finn and Skyler.

The five young men blushed, Colton walking into the house.

"At least they didn't have to deal with walrus hair." Lucas smiled, sitting down beside his husbands and sons, Finn laughing loudly.

Everyone joined him, Chris blushing, Piney kissing his lips.

"I happen to love walrus hair." he smiled, Chris smiling at him.

Everyone relaxed, friendly conversations continuing, Lucas sitting back, little Joshy now in his lap.

He saw a few people staring at him, the young man sighing softly, but smiling.

"I sense your intrigue, my friends." he said, Adam staring at him.

"Your words to myself seemed mysterious, Luke." Jeremy said, his husbands at his sides, the three seated with Harry and Alain.

"I live for the mystery, you all know that." Lucas smiled, little Joshy clapping his hands in his lap.

"Daddy's magic moves." he grinned, little Justy laughing in Justin's lap.

"That it does my son." Lucas said, everyone staring at him and the small boy.

"So what's going to happen today, Luke? We were all surprised that you are giving another interview." Gio said, Lucas smiling at the reporter.

"It's more a consensus of guarded reality, my friends." he said, the young man smiling.

"Meaning what, Luke?" Nick said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Lunch is ready, Dad." Colton said, smiling at him, walking back out of the house.

"Let's eat everyone. I'll talk over lunch." Lucas smiled, everyone nodding.

Over a light lunch Lucas told them all of his morning's voyage, all seated in silent awe.

"You met those ten all together?" Chris had said, Lucas nodding.
"Yes, in the ancient church created out of devotion and love by the spirit of Priscilla Carlisle's soul." Lucas said, the young man's violet pools meeting Hemi's brown pools, the Egyptian smiling at him.

"You found the place, Lucas. Your intellect is astounding." Hemi said, Colton staring at his husband.

"You. . .you made that place, Hemi?" he said, Hemi smiling at his husband.

"Our soul did, yes. Pathways are hidden all over this world. You just need the intellect to see them." he said, smiling at Lucas.

"I sense your resolve and own intellect, Priscilla. As I sense the truth." Lucas said, Hemi now showing Priscilla's ancient form.

"I followed the path, Lucas." she said, Lucas nodding, Hemi's face showing again, his husbands surrounding him.

Lucas' eyes moved, meeting two blue pools, Rosa Sharon smiling at him.

The little girl stared at Lucas, her smile not wavering.

"Paths move and are guided under His love, Lucas." she said, Lucas smiling and nodding.

"I understand, little angel. And I accept your love and help." he said, the child smiling.

"I like what you're doing, Dad. We're all going to be amazed." she smiled, Lucas smiling.

"I'll even surprise you, our little hidden angel." he said, the child smiling, moving and climbing into Hemi's lap, the Egyptian holding his hidden mother close.

"The love continues." she smiled, snuggling against him, his brown pools meeting Lucas' violet.

"What's going on, Lucas?" he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"A path of reason and hope, my friend. And from it shall come the finality of all this. And they shall walk out of the darkness. It begins." Lucas said, everyone looking at him.

"You're being mysterious again, my love." Josh said, Lucas smiling at his husband sitting beside him.

"Life can be surprising. Some of us don't know what we possess. But magic always unites with magic. I'll always see that done." Lucas smiled, picking up a bowl of Caesar salad.
"Right now, I need some energy. Eat up, my friends. The amazement begins." Lucas smiled, everyone quietly staring at him.

"Relax, my family. My magic protects all. My love shows all." he had smiled, everyone still staring at him.

"I'm following you today, Luke." Finn said, Lucas smiling at him.

"You just want to ogle all the hot studs around me. I swear you've gone bi." he'd smiled, Chris laughing loudly, Finn blushing.

"Can the humor, Shecky. I know what you're doing." Finn said, Lucas smiling at his best friend.

"I'll take my brother's love any day. Bring your boy toys with you." he smiled at Harry and Alain, the two smiling.

"I'm your bodyguard, Luke. Where you go, I go." Harry said, Lucas nodding.

"We'll leave right after lunch, those I've asked to join me. We'll be back later this afternoon, everyone. A few short, but back as loving as ever." he'd smiled, diving into his salad.

Even his soulmates sensed Lucas' calm soul wanting to remain silent.

All they could do was love him and be there for him.

Lucas smiled, everyone quietly eating their lunch.

Looks were traded, several people looking quietly at Lucas, lost in their own thoughts.

Three black SUVs drove through the afternoon sunshine, all in different states of discussion.

Lucas smiled, seated in the first one, his soulmates and family surrounding him.

Justin, Lance and Josh sat beside him, the four soulmates together in love.

Behind them Colton, Jonathan and Haras sat, the three young men quietly staring at Lucas.

Harry was driving, Alain at his side.

The second vehicle behind them contained their other two soulmates and Rosa Sharon; Adam and his two soulmates with them.

Enrique was driving that vehicle.

The third SUV contained Jeremy, Usher and Bruno, as well as Nick, Gideon, and Gio, Finn driving.

Everyone else from the community of love was left at Lucas' home, the remaining family watching over the kids.

They'd all voiced their love for Lucas, the young man hugged by everyone, all of them showing concern and love.

Here now they were heading downtown after ditching the surrounding paparazzi and media horde.

That had taken over half an hour, the press relentless in their need to see Lucas.

The young man had remained calm, staring straight ahead, the tinted windows offering minimal protection from their flashing cameras.

Lucas had given all three drivers directions to where they were going, all three looking at him with confusion.

"Let's get to it." Lucas had smiled, climbing into the vehicle.

Here now it was almost an hour later, Harry pulling the lead vehicle up to a circular driveway, looking at the large sign outside the building.

"CNN again, Luke?" Justin said, Lucas nodding.

"I had a call from Jake Tapper last week. A few people were requesting more information. I thought I'd give them some." Lucas smiled, the young man looking towards the building.

"Meaning what, Lucky? What are you cooking up?" Lance said, Lucas smiling and kissing his lips, the man seated on his left.

"Just reality, my Lance. A good dose of reality, and inspiration." Lucas smiled, Harry stopping the vehicle at the building's front entrance, the other two vehicles stopping behind him.

They all saw the uniformed security guards waiting for them, a young woman in a tailored two-piece pant suit standing in front of them.

Harry and Alain climbed out of the vehicle, the two scanning around, Alain opening the vehicle's door, Josh and Lucas climbing out, the woman smiling at both men, Justin and Lance climbing out behind them, the others climbing out through the other door that Harry had opened.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Carver-Belmont. We're all ready for you." the young woman said, Lucas smiling at her.

Her blue eyes scanned over the young man's handsome physique, Lucas wearing a black blazer and black silk shirt and black pants.

"Good afternoon, Miss Diamond." he smiled, the young woman looking surprised.

"How did. . .?" she softly said, Lucas smiling at her.

"Jewels shine best in the sunshine, Natalie." he smiled, the young woman regaining her composure, staring at him.

"This way, please. Mr. Tapper is waiting for you inside with his guests, Mr. Carver-Belmont. We have an area ready for all your friends as you requested." she smiled, Lucas smiling at her.

"Lead the way, Natalie. And I'm just Luke." he smiled, the woman looking at everyone, turning and walking towards the building, the security detail surrounding everyone.
Finn leaned into Harry, the young man's eyes meeting his.

"How did he know her name?" he whispered, Harry shrugging his shoulders.

Lucas heard his friend's words, the young man remaining silent.

His eyes went upwards, staring at all the glass windows, the young man sensing the reality around him.

I feel you, soul of the claimed evil.

I have all that's needed.

And they will show themselves.

It begins with him.

And then I'll do what must be done.

Lucas smiled, his hand squeezing Josh's beside him, the man smiling at him.

"I love you, Josh. Always." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"I love you, my love." he said, Lucas smiling, the two and their friends following the young woman through the front doors of the building.

Upstairs on the twentieth floor, the group were met by Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper, the two news anchors smiling quietly at Lucas.

"Hello again, Lucas." Jake suddenly said, moving forward, shaking his hand energetically, the young woman smiling at him.

Everyone saw a look of deep emotion showing on the anchor's face, Anderson Cooper quietly staring at him and Lucas.

Lucas smiled, Josh seeing a usual look cross Lucas' face, his other two soulmates seeing it as well.

"This way, Mr. Carver-Belmont." Natalie said, Lucas smiling at her.

The group followed her and the two anchors into a large room, almost the size of a small auditorium, several tables and chairs set up.

Josh saw a small area filled with comfortable chairs just off from the tables.

The security guards that followed them closed the doors behind them, standing at them.

Jake stopped by the tables, turning and staring at Lucas.

"Lucas, before this starts, I. . .I want to. . ." he softly said, Anderson quietly staring at him.

Lucas blushed, his usual look of reluctance showing, everyone staring at him.

"The jewel you sought I see you've found." Lucas said, the young woman looking surprised, Lucas smiling at her.

"Your eyes show your love for him, Natalie."

Jake looked surprised, staring at Lucas.

"You. . .you know?" he said, Lucas smiling.

"What's going on, Luke?" Lance said, standing beside him.

"On our last interview when Jake had found out about my match making on our island of love he asked me if I could help him." Lucas smiled, staring at the anchor.

"And you had said `leave that to life's moments. And your own heart. A jewel of an answer will start both." Jake said, Natalie smiling at him.

"We met in a jewelry store a week ago. We had seen each other around the office here, but hadn't worked together. Jake had asked me my name. When I told him it was Diamond he showed a surprised look on his face." she said, staring at her boyfriend.

Jake stared at Lucas.

"I was surprised by what I saw behind her. And what I realized it meant at that moment."
Lance stared at Lucas.

"He saw you, didn't he? You popped into that jewelry store. You united their love." he smiled, everyone staring at Lucas, the young man blushing again.

"I wanted him to see what was in front of him. I now see he has." Lucas said, smiling at the two new soulmates, Jake smiling.

"I realized when I saw you flash in front of me for only a moment, what you were trying to show me. And when I then looked into her blue eyes I saw the reality of her love. We've fallen hard for each other." Jake said, Anderson smiling.

"That would be an understatement. They're like teenagers when not on the job." he smiled, Jake laughing, his hand going into Natalie's.

"Thank you, Lucas. For this beautiful love."
Lucas smiled, nodding his head.

"You found that in each other's souls. I only made the meeting happen."
Natalie smiled, leaning forward, kissing his cheek.

"Thank you, Lucas. I sense we have a guardian angel." she smiled, Lucas smiling, looking at Alain.

"Yes, they do surround us." he smiled, Jake and Anderson staring at the black man.

"Indeed. Everyone should be here shortly, Lucas. They're all chomping at the bit to take you on." Anderson said, his professionalism showing again.

"I'm sure they are, Mr. Cooper.  And I always come with surprises." Lucas smiled, Josh looking at him.

"Who's coming, Lucky?" he said, Jake smiling at Josh's term of endearment.

"We're having a discussion of faith and reality, my love. I've invited a few members of the flock to debate the realities that are flooring the world." Lucas said, everyone looking surprised at him.

"You just had that meeting. . ." Finn began to say, Lucas staring at him, the Welshman stopping his sentence.

"Both sides of the coin need clarification. I can achieve that." Lucas said, the two anchors staring at him.

Everyone looked confused, Lucas smiling at the two anchors.

A knock came to the door, the guards opening both double doors.

A group of four men and one woman walked into the room, followed by their assistants.

"We'll get organized. You and your friends can sit over there, Lucas. We'll call you when we're about to begin, and we'll do the introductions." Jake said, Lucas nodded, his eyes meeting the five now staring at him as they walked up to the anchors.

Lucas turned walking towards the seating area, his friends staring at the five, then following him.

They all sat down, everyone staring at Lucas.

"What's going on, Luke? Those five obviously have connections with the religious sectors. That one man's that Sanders guy you shocked into silence the day of your appearing before the Pope here at CNN." Finn said, everyone staring at the minister.

"Yes, those five have religious backgrounds. They're searching for more answers. I'm going to allow their search."

"Meaning what, Luke?" Harry said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Meaning that what they search for may be more than they hope to find."
Lucas smiled, Josh's hand going into his.

Colton's blue pools were staring at Lucas.

"I sense something else, Luke." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"I have the magic, Colt. I will protect all. You all need to be ready for that." Lucas said, his eyes meeting two blue pools.

His eyes moved, staring at the five surrounding Jake and Anderson, Natalie now guiding them to the tables.

His eyes stared at a vision of red glaring reality.

I see you, voice of evil.

And I will protect all.

And he will give all.

Lucas sighed, his magic zoning in on its surroundings.

His violet pools changed, an emerald glow now showing.

Colton stared at his friend, his own magic simmering.

End of Chapter 226

What a place to leave it!

What's going on?

Why has Lucas agreed to this interview?

And what's simmering under the surface?
Is it evil?

It seems he's asked several of his dear friends specifically to be here with him.

Jeremy, Pierce and Gideon to be precise.

What is their significance?

What has Lucas given to the ten of holy devotion in that stone chapel in Italy?
And what is the significance of Priscilla creating it?

Paths seem to be aligning and crossing.

The path focuses now, the journey soon to reach its heart.

For now this will be it for this year, as the holidays approach.

I want to wish all my fans a pleasant and joyous holiday season.

May you find happiness and love throughout the festivities.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

And the happiest wishes for a safe New Year to all of you.

Hugs, Angel.
