Bidding adieu to her family, she made her way back to the cabin she shared with her brother and stripped down almost before the cabin door closed. Stepping under the cool flow of water was rejuvinating, and she could feel the sweat of the day melting away from her lithe body. In school, Megan played on the field hockey team, which kept her body fit and lean. During the winter months, they practiced in the large gym at school, but it wasn't nearly as pleasant as having the wind blowing through her hair running up and down the field in the spring when they played outdoors. This respite from winter was doing her a world of good - they'd only been on the ship for just over 24 hours, but she could feel her attitude was much more positive, and she hadn't bickered with her brother all day. They'd exchanged a sarcastic phrase or two, sure, but no fighting. It must be a new record for them. Thoughts of her brother brought back memories from last night, when she'd seen him naked for the first time since they were small children. Obviously, his body had changed since then - hers had too - but the feelings that she was experiencing were confusing for her. She was interested, but... he was her brother... and that wasn't supposed to happen, was it? She then turned her thoughts to Jon. Oh, Jon.... he really caught her eye in a way boys hadn't before. His smile, his laugh, the way he scrunched up his nose and adjusted his glasses - Megan's heart began to flutter again just thinking about him. She could feel her skin flush as she pictured him sitting next to her in the hot tub the previous afternoon. A knock on the door broke into her thoughts and brought her back to Earth. "Meg, are you going to be long?" her brother called through the door. Realizing she'd lost track of time in the shower, she shut off the water and called back, "No, I'm just getting out of the shower, give me a minute." She dried off quickly and wrapped the towel around her, and then wrapped her hair in a second towel before opening the door and stepping into the stateroom where she found her brother standing in his boxers, waiting for her to vacate the bathroom. She was stunned at how relaxed he was around her now - he would never in a million years be seen in his underwear at home - but here he was. "Uh, it's all yours," she said. "Thanks, sis," he said, striding past her. He'd noticed how she hesitated when she stepped into the room... "Was she checking me out? Nah, can't be - she's my sister!" he thought. * * * * * Once she'd dried off completely, Megan decided the pool sounded good, so she put on her swimsuit, grabbed a towel and headed up to the open deck. Locating a free deck lounger, she laid out her towel and stretched out, popping in her earbuds and put on some music. Settling in, she adjusted her sunglasses and laid back with her eyes closed, basking in the warm rays of the Florida sun. It felt great on her skin - vitamin D really did do a body good. Whenever someone walked past, she could feel a shadow fall across her, which got annoying after a while, but really, there was nothing she could do about it. After she'd lay there for a few minutes, though, she felt the shadow again - but this time it didn't keep moving. She opened her eyes to see Jon standing there smiling at her. She quickly removed her earbuds. "Hey there! How was your day?" she asked. "Can't complain... any day without school is a good day," he replied. "I was just going to get some pizza when I saw you laying out here, so I thought I'd come over and say hi... I hope I'm not bothering you?" "No, no, not at all. I was just catching some sun. Would you like some company getting pizza? I'm kind of hungry too." Jon was elated that she wanted to come. He still wasn't used to people wanting to spend time with him, let alone a girl. He nodded quickly - too quickly, he thought. He didn't want to seem deperate. Megan stood and picked up her towel, and the two teens walked slowly side by side to the pizzaria. "I can get us some food, if you want to find a table," Jon offered. He felt a bit out of his depth here - he'd never been out with a girl before and he wasn't a hundred percent sure how to act. This wasn't exactly a date, but he sure as hell was nervous, as if it were one. It didn't help that she was wearing a swimsuit that accentuated her cleavage. He was struggling to maintain eye contact and not look down. "Th... That sounds great.... could I have a slice of pepperoni, please? I'll go find a table over there," she agreed, waving vaguely toward the tables by the window overlooking the water. Internally, she was almost as nervous as he was, but both of them were trying not to let it show. Jon went to wait in line for the pizza for the two of them, and when it was served up, he went to find Megan sitting at a small table for two with a pair of Cokes. "The waiter was nice enough to get two," she said eagerly, hoping that he was pleased. He thanked her and placed one of the plates in front of her, and sat down. After a few awkward moments of silence, he gathered up his courage. "Can... can I tell you something, Megan?" he stammered. She nodded, and he continued. "This is going to sound dumb, but... I'm... I'm nervous as hell right now... I'm sorry if I'm being an idiot." "YOU'RE nervous? Oh, thank God, I thought it was just me," she said with relief. "I'm so afraid I'm going to say something stupid, and... and..." "I know what you mean, I'm the exact same way," he said with a big gulp. "This is the first time I've been alone with a girl, and I have no idea what I'm doing." "Me neither!" she said, laughing, as he joined in. "Well, with a boy, I mean." * * * * * The ice broken, the two teens slowly became more comfortable with each other's company, and before long, Jon became emboldened enough to ask Megan a question that had been burning in his mind since the night before. "Ok, so I have a question, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I have to at least ask. Did you mean what you said last night?" She instantly knew exactly what he was referring to, but to make sure, she asked him to clarify. "What part, exactly?" He sighed... in for a penny, in for a pound. "You told me I was cute. I... I'm having a hard time believing it," he said, quietly, his gaze transfixed by a crumb on the table. "Well," she started, pausing to take a breath. "Yeah, I do really find you cute. Normally I wouldn't just blurt it out like that," she said, smiling, "but you needed to hear it, and I meant it." After a moment of silence, he raised his eyes to meet her gaze, and she could see tears welling up in his green eyes, his lip quivering slightly. Instinctively, she reached out and took his hand in hers, and said, "I do really mean it," quiet enough so only he could hear her. He took a deep breath, took his glasses off and wiped his eyes with his other hand. "Jesus, why am I being like this.... I'm sorry..." Some people might find this burst of emotion to be offputting, but Megan found it endearing. "There's no need to apologize, Jon. We're all allowed to get emotional sometimes," she said quietly. After a minute and some deep breaths, he regained his composure and smiled at her. "You have no idea how much that means to me," he said. "That's easily the nicest thing someone has said to me in ages... well, other than my parents, of course, but... they don't count this time." He went on to tell her his life story, about being bullied in school and not having many friends, and how hard it could be sometimes. For her part, she sat and listened intently as he unloaded his baggage on her, nodding in all the right places and making noises of empathy as he continued on. Eventually, the torrent of thoughts slowed down and he finally noticed that he had been monopolizing the conversation. "Wow, that was a lot, I'm sor -" "Don't you dare apologize for baring your soul to me!" she cut him off. "It takes a lot of courage to open yourself up to people. It takes a lot of trust, and I'm thankful that you trust me enough to talk about your feelings. That's not something a 14-year-old guy would normally do." "Almost 15," he said with a smirk. "Almost 15," she conceded. By now, the pizza was getting cold, but the boy and the girl had formed a bond that was far more important than pizza. * * * * * After finishing their cold pizza, she invited Jon to join her in the pool. He readily agreed, and said he'd be back in 10 minutes after he changed into his trunks. As they stood, he turned to leave before she stopped him and pulled him in for a hug. "I care about you," she whispered in his ear. "Thank you," he whispered back, and after a moment, he broke the hug and smiled at her. "I'll be back." "Sure thing, Terminator," she replied with a smirk. After Jon left, Mark came sidling up beside her and asked if everything was okay. "I wasn't trying to spy on you guys, but I just got here and saw you hug him." Megan was surprised at how mature her brother was being, and how accurately he had read the situation. "Yeah, it's all fine... he just needed a hug, that's all," she said, her mind replaying the conversation from the past 20 minutes. "Anyways, we're going to go for a swim, did you want to come?" "Would I be intruding? I don't want to get in the middle of anything," he replied. "I don't think you would, no, but if it makes you better, we can ask him when he gets back." Mark agreed, and true to his word, Jon was back within a few minutes, now dressed in his swim trunks and tshirt. "Oh, hey, Mark, how's it going?" "Pretty good, pretty good... how about you?" "Better now," Jon said with a smile, glancing at Megan, who returned the smile. "Shall we?" * * * * * When they got poolside, Megan noticed that Jon took off his shirt with no hesitation this time - she felt that was a major change for him, compared to how cautious he had been the previous night and even how more confident he was from half an hour before. This new confidence made him even more attractive to her, but she kept that little nugget to herself. The three kids eased into the pool, but it wasn't long before Mark and Jon started horsing around. "Boys," she thought, "they're always the same." But it did defnintely look like fun. She swam up behind Jon and wrapped her arms around his shoulders and her legs around his waist, calling "Giddyap, horsey!" causing Mark to crack up. Below the waterline, Jon could feel his dick plumping up at the unexpected contact, then did exactly as she asked, taking her on a ride around the shallow end of the pool before depositing her on the side. Turning to face her, he noticed that her nipples were showing through her swimsuit, which certainly didn't help the lump in his trunks. He struggled to keep his gaze off her boobs, but even with the superhuman effort he was putting in, she noticed where his eyes kept getting drawn to and became slightly embarassed at her condition. She didn't do anything to hide it, though - he'd be seeing a lot more later on, she figured, so why not? Mark had also noticed her nipples trying to pierce their way though her suit, and was having a similar problem to Jon regarding his trunks. A quick adjustment under the water relieved some of the pressure, but his erection persisted. The three returned to their horseplay and eventually both boys were able to get out of the pool without any indecent exposure. It was getting close to dinnertime, so Jon said goodbye to his friends and said he'd see them later on. Megan gave him another quick hug before he left, as did Mark - which surprised Jon a bit, but it definitely wasn't unwelcome - and the siblings headed back to their cabin to get ready for dinner. "You really like him, don't you," Mark asked when they were alone. "Yeah. Yeah, I do," his sister replied dreamily. "He really is a great guy. You two would make a great couple," he added. Megan wondered who had kidnapped her bratty-ass brother and replaced him with this human being. * * * * * And there we have chapter four. ;) If you want to drop me a note, drmoocow@gmail.com is where you can reach me.
