Loving Affair Part 12 ( F/m, MF/m, m/M, m/f, Ffm, MFfm, Ff inc, oral, mas, anal, exhb ) As the school year went on, Paul wondered how soon he would find out about his surgery. He wondered if he would miss any school time. Paul also wondered how Dawn would react on the day he went in for surgery. He knew she would keep her promise however, and be beside him. Paul was thinking of how he would react to the recovery. Despite all this on his mind, Paul remained focused on his school work. One day in November, Joe Liz and Paul went to the doctor to find out about his surgery. Paul was worried when the doctor would tell him he was being operated on. As they waited for the doctor, Paul begged Joe and Liz not to let the surgery stop him from being home for Christmas. Joe and Liz promised Paul he would not spend Christmas in the hospital. Paul smiled, and hugged them both. Liz told him they would see when the doctor would suggest having it done. When the doctor entered he looked at Paul and told him he wanted to talk to all about the surgery. The first thing Paul told the doctor was he wanted to be home for Christmas. The doctor assured Paul he would not be in hospital for Christmas. Joe looked at the doctor and asked when the surgery.would be. The doctor told Joe he planned on bring Paul in on January 7th and do all his presurgical testing. Paul asked when the surgery would be. The doctor looked at Paul and told him the surgery would be on January 14th. Paul looked at Joe and Liz, and asked if they could still make sure it would happen. Joe looked at Paul and reassured him he would make sure it happened. The doctor then went into detail on how the surgery would be performed. As he told them about the surgery, Paul's mind drifted on to Dawn and being in her arms. When the doctor was done, he asked if anyone had any questions. Paul asked the doctor how long he thought the recovery would take. The doctor told Paul it would take a while but he couldn't tell him just how long. Paul looked at Joe and Liz, and almost cried. Liz hugged him, and whispered in his ear to remember Dawn would be beside him. Paul whispered back he was trying. The doctor told them he would be in touch before the surgery to see how things were going. Joe Liz and Paul then left the hospital and headed home. On the way home, Paul sat between Joe and Liz. They talked about their plans Thanksgiving and Christmas. Joe suggested having a small Thanksgiving dinner, but then having the entire family over for Christmas dinner. Paul knew in his heart that Joe was trying to keep his mind off the surgery. Unfortunately it didn't work. Paul turned to Liz, and began crying as he laid his head on her chest. Liz stroked his hair and told him he would be ok and that they loved him. Liz looked up at Joe and gave him that knowing look. Joe looked back at Liz and nodded his head. Without a word, Joe headed over to Charles' house so Paul could see Dawn. When they pulled in the driveway at Charles' house, Dawn came running out. She jumped in the car next to Paul and hugged him. Liz asked Dawn where Charles was. She told Liz he was in the back yard. Joe and Liz went to the back yard and talked to Charles, while Dawn sat in the car with Paul. Dawn held Paul in her arms, and asked how she could help cheer him up. He smiled and told her being in her arms cheered him up. Dawn held him close, and told him she would be right beside him through it all. Paul looked around. When he noticed Charles wasn't around, Paul leaned in and kissed Dawn slowly. Dawn kissed him and whispered how she wished it was the weekend so she could be beside him. Paul whispered back he was wishing the same thing. Dawn ran her hands down Paul's back, and whispered she would have a surprise for him this upcoming weekend. Paul smiled and told her he loved he so very much. Before they could begin anything, Joe and Liz came back to the car. Paul gave Dawn one more kiss goodbye before she left the car. The next day when Paul returned to school, everyone asked Paul what the doctors had said. Paul took the teacher aside, and told her he was going into the hospital in January. He told her the doctor couldn't tell him how long his recovery would be. She told him she would let the class know so he wouldn't have to explain it over and over again. Paul thanked his teacher, and waited out in the hallway while the teacher went in and told the class what was going on. When she was done explaining things to the class she came out and brought Paul back into the room. During their lunch time, the girl who had tried coming on to Paul sat beside him, and asked if he was ok. Paul told her he would be fine. She smiled, and asked him if he had began thinking of what he wanted for Christmas. Paul told her all he wanted for Christmas was to get through this surgery. His friend just smiled, and told him she understood. She then went back to eating. Paul in the back of his mind knew she was thinking she may have a chance again. He finished his lunch, and just sat quietly until lunch was over. For the rest of the day, Paul's friend kept trying to get close to him. She kept trying to see if she could make him change his mind before he went in for surgery. Paul knew what was going on and he just looked past it. He concentrated on his school work, and getting through the day. Paul couldn't wait to get home that day. He wanted to get home to get away from the friend who was trying to hit on him. When he arrived home, Liz walked out to get him off the bus. She smiled at him, and told him she had some wonderful news for him. Paul asked Liz what was going on. She told him Charles called and told her Dawn was going to spend the night before he went in, and he would bring her over to come down the day of his surgery. Paul smiled, and told her she made his day. Liz hugged him before wheeling him up the ramp. As the weeks passed by, Paul concentrated on his school work and his surgery. He thought of how he would feel before during and after the surgery. Paul could feel his anxiety over the surgery welling up inside him. He didn't know where to turn to let out his feelings. Paul finally asked Liz if he could go see Dawn. She told him she would take him to see her. Paul hugged Liz and told her he loved her. Liz kissed him softly and told him she loved him too. Liz then told him she would call Charles and asked if they could come visit. Charles laughed and told her that him and Dawn were on their way to come see them. Liz told them ok they would see them soon. She then told Paul that Dawn was on her way to see him. Paul smiled and thanked her for the good news. When Charles and Dawn arrived, Dawn walked in and hugged Paul. She whispered how much she loved him and had missed him. Paul whispered he loved her, and had missed her too. Dawn wheeled Paul into his room, and closed the door behind them. She sat in his lap, and held him tight. Dawn kissed him slowly and gently. She told Paul how wonderful it was to be back in his arms where she belonged. Paul rubbed her back and kissed her softly. He whispered it felt wonderful being back in her arms where he belong. Paul told her he was getting more and more nervous as the date of his surgery approached. Dawn whispered she understood, but that she would be beside him every step of the way. She then reminded Paul she would be spending the night before he went into the hospital. Dawn also reminded him she would be at the hospital the day of the surgery. Paul hugged her close, and whispered in her ear that he felt so blessed having her in his life. Dawn kissed him again, and whispered she would be right beside him for the rest of his life. Hearing this made Paul smile, and he felt all his fear disappear. He knew now he would make it through this surgery with the love of Joe Liz and his family, especially Dawn. As Christmas time arrived, Paul loved spending time around his family. He knew being with them was the best present he could ever ask for. During his visit with Charles and Dawn, Paul stayed right beside Dawn's side. Dawn and Paul kept talking about what they had gotten for Christmas, along with what they had hoped to do for summer. The lovers kept hugging when they could, and kissing when Charles was around. Neither one of them gave any thought to the surgery, or what would happen if Kathleen and Chris showed up. Thankfully this did not happen as Dawn wanted Paul to remain calm and happy. Paul smiled and laughed the entire time Dawn was with him. On New Years Eve, Charles and Dawn came over to spend even more time with Joe Liz and Paul. Dawn and Paul curled up innocently on the floor watching television, as Charles Joe and Liz played games in the kitchen. They all wanted to keep things as normal and calm as they could for Paul's sake. None of them would let anything upset Paul at this point. Dawn hugged Paul close stroked his hair, and whispered she loved him. Paul looked in her eyes and whispered he loved her too. Paul smiled slightly as he looked into Dawn's eyes again. When she noticed his smile, Dawn asked what he was thinking. Paul whispered how it would be wonderful having Dawn there the night before he went into the hospital. She smiled and told him she was reading his mind, and she went on to tell him she loved how he thought. Dawn then rolled over and held Paul close to her. Paul asked Dawn if she would grab the blanket from the couch so they could cuddle and keep warm. Dawn grabbed the blanket and covered them up. When it was ten minutes before midnight Charles Joe and Liz joined Dawn and Paul in the living room to watch the ball drop. Right as the ball dropped, Dawn rolled over and hugged Paul. She whispered in his ear she would have kissed him but Charles was in the room so she couldn't. Paul whispered back he understood. He then whispered he loved her. Dawn hugged him tighter, and rubbed his back lovingly. Charles Joe and Liz then went back into the kitchen for one last game. When Dawn knew they were alone she leaned in and kissed him gently and lovingly. Dawn and Paul wound up falling asleep on the floor while Charles Joe and Liz finished their game. When he was ready to go home, Charles picked Dawn up in his arms, and Joe went out to open the truck door for him. After Charles left, Joe came back in the house to find Liz cuddled up to Paul on the floor. So Joe laid down beside Liz and cuddled up to her before drifting off to sleep. During the week before Paul went in for his surgery, Joe and Liz took and did all they could find to do with Paul, to keep his mind off his surgery. They took him shopping, sledding, they built a snow man in the front yard with him, and sat down by the fire place with him. Paul loved spending all this time with Joe and Liz. All this attention made Paul forget his upcoming surgery. Joe and Liz even used the time to help them forget how nervous the surgery made them also. Despite knowing the surgery would help Paul, they were nervous because they knew all the complications that could happen. No one wanted to discuss their fears, they wanted to remain positive. The day before Paul went into the hospital, Charles brought Dawn over to the house so she could be with Paul. As Dawn got out of the truck, she ran up to the door, and walked in to hug Paul. Charles brought Dawn's bags in, and sat them on the floor. Joe thanked him for bringing Dawn over so she could be there to help Paul keep calm. Charles asked Joe to drop Dawn off on their way home from the hospital. Joe told him he would have Dawn home around 9:30 that night. Charles told him this would be fine. He then turned to Paul and told him he would be praying for him. Paul hugged Charles and thanked him. Charles gave Dawn one more hug, and then left. Dawn and Paul then made their way to Paul's room. Dawn then helped Paul sit down on the floor beside her so she could do her homework. When she was finished, Dawn wrapped her arms around Paul and kissed him softly. She then laid him down slowly on the floor. Paul looked deep in Dawn's eyes, and held her close to him. Paul told Dawn he was scared. Dawn told him he would be ok. Paul asked her to hold him and not let him go. Dawn pulled him close, and whispered she would hold him all night no matter what. When she said this, Dawn could feel Paul's body relax. Paul held her in his arms, and whispered knowing she would be there beside him all the way brought him a great sense of peace. Dawn stroked Paul's hair and kissed him slowly. She told him no matter what happened, she would remain beside him forever. Paul laid his head on Dawn's chest and let some tears out. Dawn wiped his tears away, and told him she was there for him. A little while later, Liz knocked on the door and told Dawn and Paul dinner was ready. Liz lifted Paul into his chair, and Dawn wheeled him out to the kitchen. As they sat down, Joe told Paul he had a treat for him. Joe brought over boxes from the seafood restaurant close by. He opened one box, and put Paul's favorite clams casino on his plate. Joe then opened the rest of the boxes and divided the food up between all of them. As they sat and ate, Dawn made Paul smile when she told Joe and Liz she would like to go on vacation with them again this upcoming summer. Joe told her he thought this would be a wonderful idea. Paul smiled, and told Dawn he would love having her go on vacation with them. Then after dinner, Dawn and Paul cuddled on the floor while Joe and Liz cuddled on the couch. They watched television and just spent time together. Dawn held Paul close and kissed him softly. She told him how much she loved him and how she was so happy she could spend the night with him before his surgery. Paul laid his head on her chest and smiled as he looked up into her eyes. Dawn stroked Paul's hair and told him she loved seeing him smile. Meanwhile Joe and Liz discussed having Liz spend the night before Paul's surgery at the hospital with Paul. Liz agreed, and hugged Joe. She told him he was wonderful to her. Joe kissed her gently, and whispered he loved seeing how close they all were. Liz whispered she would be so happy when Paul's surgery was over. Joe looked in her eyes and asked if she was ok. Liz told him she was nervous and worried about what could happen. Joe reassured Liz everything would be ok. Then around nine o'clock Dawn and Paul headed to Paul's room for bed, while Joe and Liz headed to their room for bed. In the morning, Dawn woke up and helped Paul get ready to go to the hospital. She helped Paul dress, then dressed herself. Paul looked in Dawn's eyes and asked her if she would give him a hug. Dawn hugged him, and asked him what he was thinking. Paul looked in her eyes and confessed he was scared. He told her he was afraid of having the surgery and he didn't want to lose her. Dawn hugged him, and whispered he would be ok. He kissed her softly and held her gently. Liz then called into them and told them to get ready to go. Dawn wheeled Paul out and helped him put his coat on. Liz watched how loving Dawn was with Paul and smiled. Joe carried Paul's bags out, and then came back to put Paul in the car. On the way down to the hospital, Dawn and Liz sat in the back of the wagon with Paul. They cuddled him close, and reassured him he would be ok. Paul laid his head in Dawn's lap while Liz slowly stroked his back. Paul smiled up at Dawn and Liz, and calmed down knowing they were all beside him. He even knew that Joe would be right beside him also. By the time they reached the hospital, Paul was completely calm. While Paul was being registered in the inpatient department, him and Dawn sat outside in the hospital lobby. Paul held Dawn's hand and asked her what was on her mind. She smiled and told him she was thinking of how wonderful it would feel when she was able to hold him again. Paul smiled and told her as soon as he came home he would make arrangements to be in her arms. Dawn hugged him and told him she needed to hear that. Paul looked around, and when no one was looking he kissed Dawn softly. Dawn kissed him back. She then whispered she loved him. About twenty minutes later, Joe and Liz came out followed by a nurse. She placed Paul's wrist band on him, and wheeled him up to his room. When they reached his room, another nurse came in to do Paul's vital signs. After the nurse left, Dawn hugged Paul and kissed him softly. Paul kissed her back, he then hugged and kissed Joe and Liz. Joe then picked Paul up, and placed him in the bed. Paul then had Dawn lay beside him in bed. She held Paul close, and whispered in his ear how she loved him, and how proud she was of him. Paul kissed her softly, and whispered back he would make it because he knew she was right beside him. Dawn stayed in bed next to Paul, until it was time for his lunch. During lunch, Dawn Joe and Liz went to the cafeteria while Paul ate lunch in his room. While in the cafeteria Dawn hugged Liz and told her she was scared for Paul. Liz looked in her eyes, and whispered it was ok. Dawn calmed down, and continued eating her lunch. She then asked Liz if they knew what time Paul would be having his surgery. Liz told her they hadn't found out yet, but that she would let her and Charles know as soon as they knew. Dawn thanked her, and finished her lunch. The rest of the day Dawn and Paul cuddled in Paul's bed watching television with Joe and Liz. When it was dinnertime, Dawn Joe Liz and Paul went to the cafeteria, As they sat and ate, Dawn kept looking in Paul's eyes so he knew she would be there for him. Dawn would reach down also, and hold Paul's hand in hers. Paul would smile at Dawn's touch. At one point, Dawn leaned over, and whispered in Paul's ear that she loved him, and would help him recover. Paul smiled, and whispered how having her beside him would help him recover even quicker. Dawn whispered she would do all she could to help him recover as quickly as she could. Paul rubbed her hand, and held it gently. He then looked into her eyes, and kissed her on the cheek. When they were finished eating, Dawn Joe Liz and Paul returned back to Paul's room. As they entered the room, Paul's nurse walked in and took Paul's vital signs. She then ask Joe and Liz if there was anything they needed. Joe asked the nurse if Paul needed to be in bed before they left for the night, or could he be in his chair. The nurse told Joe that Paul needed to be in bed before they left for the night. Joe assured the nurse Paul would be in bed before they left that night. When the nurse left the room, Dawn curled up in bed beside Paul and held him close to her. She stroked his hair, and whispered in his ear just how much she loved him, and how she knew he would make it through the surgery no problem. Paul held her close, and whispered in her ear that when he was home, and back up on his feet, he would make love to her over and over to make up for their time apart. Dawn kissed him softly, and whispered she couldn't wait. Paul then hugged Joe and Liz and made them the same promise he made Dawn. They hugged him, and kissed them too. The rest of the night, Dawn held Paul close and kept rubbing his back. When it was time for them to go, Dawn hugged Paul closely, kissed him slowly, and whispered in his ear she would be back for him the day of his surgery. Paul hugged her kissed her, and whispered he loved her and would be waiting to see her when she got there. They broke their embrace, and Dawn Joe and Liz left for the night. During the next week, Paul underwent all his pre-surgical testing. Every day when Joe would come home from work, he would pick Liz up, and go right down to the hospital. Joe and Liz would support Paul through every test he underwent. They helped Paul by talking to him, and helping reassure him he would be fine during the surgery. Paul would open up, and confess how scared he was. And when Paul would get too upset, Liz would let him know how she had kept Dawn up to date on how he was. This seemed to always calm Paul down. The day before Paul's surgery when Joe and Liz showed up, Paul met them in the hallway in his chair. He hugged them, and told them he missed them. Liz hugged him, and told him they missed him too. Joe asked Paul if the doctor had been in to talk to him about the surgery. Paul told him no he hadn't heard anything from the doctor about the surgery. Joe hugged him, and wheeled him back to his room. As they sat talking about how they planned to spend the summer, a knock came to Paul's room door. They all looked up to see the doctor standing there. He came in, and told Joe Liz and Paul he was there to discuss the surgery. Paul asked the doctor if something was wrong. The doctor told him nothing was wrong, he just wanted to let him know what time the surgery would be, and how long the surgery would be. He told Paul he was also going to explain what would be done during the surgery. Joe squeezed Paul's hand, and told him relax. He then told Paul everything would be ok. The doctor looked at Paul and told him he would be taken to pre-op at 8:30 a.m. to get his I.V. started. They would then began administering the I.V. sleeping medications at 8:55 a.m. This would allow Paul to begin falling asleep before he entered the operating room. The doctor told them the surgery would last three hours. He told them that during those three hours, he would place a steel rod on each side of Paul's spine. He would then anchor the rods with screws at the top of Paul's spine, as well as the base of Paul's spine. The doctor told them he would then place a wire clip at each vertebrate on the spine. He would then cover the rods, and clips with ground up seeded bone crystal. Liz looked at Joe and hugged him tightly. The doctor told them, Paul's recovery would take a while. Paul asked the doctor if he would be ok to go away on a summer vacation at all. The doctor told him he would be fine to go as long as he didn't get bumped around too much. Paul smiled, and hugged Joe and Liz. Joe asked the doctor if him and Liz could walk down to pre-op with Paul. The doctor told him he would encourage it. Joe smiled and hugged Paul. Liz then turned around and hugged Paul. When the doctor was finished, he asked if anyone else had any questions. Paul then asked how long he would be in the hospital for recovery. The doctor told him, it would depend on how long his recovery took. Paul smiled and thanked the doctor. With everything said, the doctor shook everyone's hand and told them he would see them tomorrow morning before walking out. Joe and Liz surprised Paul by telling him, they had began making plans to rent the summer house. Paul smiled and asked if Dawn would be coming with them. Joe laughed and told him of course she would be. Paul smiled and hugged them both. He told them that would make him so happy. Joe and Liz hugged him and assured him he would truly enjoy vacation this summer. Paul smiled and told Joe and Liz he was counting the days until they were on the beach. Liz smiled and hugged Paul. They then discussed the possibilities of getting a van to make it easier for them to get around. Paul's first question was, would he be able to still cuddle with Dawn on their rides down to the summer house. Joe smiled, and told him yes. He told Paul as long as he could lift him, he would be able to cuddle on the back seat with Dawn. Paul smiled and hugged Joe softly. Joe told Paul they would also be able to take more trips. Paul hugged him, and told him he love loved him and Liz. Joe smiled, and told him they loved him too. When lunchtime arrived, Joe Liz and Paul went to the cafeteria to eat. As they sat down to eat, Paul's nurse walked up. She asked Liz if she was going to spend the night before Paul's surgery. Liz told her she would let her know when then got back from lunch. The nurse told her if she did spend the night, they would put a bed up in Paul's room for her. Liz thanked her again and her she would let her know. When the nurse walked away, Liz look at Paul and saw he wanted her there that night. Paul asked her if she would mind. Liz told him she wouldn't mind at all. Joe told them he would still be at the hospital with Dawn before Paul went down to pre-op. As they finished lunch, Joe Liz and Paul returned to Paul's room. Liz helped get Paul back in his bed, and then went to tell the nurse she would be spending the night. When Liz returned she told Paul everything was set. Joe asked how early Paul wanted Dawn and him there in the morning. Paul asked what time he thought they could be there in the morning. Joe picked up the phone in Paul's room, and called Charles. Charles answered the phone, and asked Joe if everything was ok. Joe assured him everything was. He then asked Charles how early he could come pick Dawn up in the morning. Charles told him he could have her up and ready any time. Joe told him he would be there at 7:30 a.m. Joe hung up the phone, and told Paul they would be there by 8:00 a.m. Paul smiled, and hugged Joe and Liz. The rest of the day, Joe Liz and Paul played games and watched television. Joe told Paul he would have him a place in the living room to rest once he got home. He also told him he would have the video game system set up so he could rest and play games. Paul smiled, and told Joe the only thing that was missing would be having Dawn beside him. Joe told Paul that Dawn would still be coming over on the weekends. Paul smiled and thanked them. After eating dinner, Joe decided he would go home, and get some rest since the next day was going to be a long one. Around 8:00 p.m. that night, the nurse came in and helped Liz give Paul a bath. After he got out of the water, the nurse turned on the heating lamp in the bathroom. When Paul was completely warm and dry, the nurse brought in a clean hospital gown. She helped Paul into his gown, and asked him if he wanted to have a snack. Paul passed up on the snack and curled up in his bed. Just as the nurse was getting ready to leave the room, the fire alarm went off. The nurse closed the door, and stayed in the room with Liz and Paul. Paul began to panic. He kept begging Liz not to leave his side. Liz kept promising him he would never ever leave his side. When the alarm was cleared, the nurse reopened Paul's door, and left. Paul and Liz then curled up in their beds, and went to sleep. The next morning as Paul was sleeping, Dawn and Joe walked in. They said hello to Liz. As Joe was talking to Liz, Dawn walked up and kissed Paul softly. Paul opened his eyes, and smiled when he saw Dawn standing there beside him. He hugged her to him, and whispered I love you so much. Dawn laid beside him, and held him closely. She whispered in his ear how she had been thinking of him all night. Paul smiled and held Dawn softly. He whispered he loved her and had been thinking of her all night also. They cuddled close and looked into each others eyes. Dawn stood up just in time for transport to come wheel Paul down to pre - op. As they wheeled him down to pre - op, Paul held Dawn's hand in his. They kept looking into each others' eyes and telling each other they loved each other without words. When they reached the doors to pre-op, Dawn then Joe then Liz hugged Paul and told him they would all be waiting for him when he came out of surgery. The next thing they knew, the pre - op nurse came out, introduced herself, and then wheeled Paul back into the pre-op area. As the doors closed Dawn Joe and Liz were escorted to the waiting room. During the surgery, Dawn Joe and Liz sat in silence. Each of them were wondering what was going on with the surgery. They were worried how Paul was holding up. All of them knew they had fears of things that could go wrong. As time passed, Joe kept getting up to get coffee for himself and Liz, and getting hot tea for Dawn. Liz would drink her coffee then pace up and down the floor. Dawn would then join her in her pacing. Both Dawn and Liz kept staring up at the clock. Dawn asked Liz if she thought everything was going ok. Liz hugged her and told her she felt in her heart everything would be just fine. As the clock hit noon time, Paul's doctor walked in the waiting room. Liz ran up to him, and asked how Paul was. The doctor told Dawn Joe and Liz that the surgery was successful and Paul pulled through like they felt he would. Dawn and Liz hugged Joe, and thanked his doctor. The doctor told them they would be able to see him soon. The nurse in recovery helped the nurse from I.C.U. wheel Paul up to his room. When Paul was settled in his room, the first thing he did was ask for Dawn Joe and Liz. The I.C.U. nurse called down to the waiting area, and asked them to send Paul's family up. Within no time at all Dawn Joe and Liz were standing by Paul's side. As he turned his head, Paul looked directly into Liz's eyes. Liz walked over and hugged him softly. Paul then looked in Dawn's eyes, and motioned for her to come over to him. She walks over, kisses him on his cheek, and whispers how she loves him. He whispers back how he loves her too. Paul then whispers he promised her he would make it. Dawn hugged him again, and sat beside him. Joe walked over, and hugged Paul. He told him how proud he was of him. Paul hugged him, and whispered he loved him. Joe then told him they were going to go get lunch and that they would be back soon. While they were at lunch, Paul decided he would close his eyes and take a nap. As he slept Paul found himself having very vivid realistic dreams. One of the dreams Paul kept having was one of him and Dawn spending their prom night as a couple. Paul kept dreaming how beautiful Dawn would look in her prom gown. He kept thinking how wonderful the night would be, and how Joe and Liz would help him by taking him and Dawn to the prom. Paul also dreamed of how wonderful it would feel the next morning waking up in her arms. Just as Paul was about to go into another dream, Dawn Joe and Liz walked back in the room. As Paul opened his eyes, he heard Dawn and Liz both tell Joe they were going out. Joe turned to them and told them he would see them when they returned. Dawn and Liz tried telling Joe again that they were going out. This time Joe watched as Dawn and Liz walked to the door before passing out. Not wanting to alarm Paul, Joe quietly motioned for the nurses. As soon as the nurses walked in, Paul knew something was wrong. He asked Joe what was wrong. Joe was honest with Paul and told him Dawn and Liz passed out. Paul asked the nurses if Dawn and Liz were ok. They reassured Paul that Dawn and Liz would be ok. The first one off the floor and to Paul's side was Dawn. She walked over to Paul, kissed him softly, and whispered she was ok. She then looked over at Liz, and told Paul Liz would be ok also. Paul wrapped his arm around Dawn and kissed her softly. As he kissed Dawn, Liz climbed off the floor. She first walked over and kissed Joe telling him she was ok. Liz then walked over to Paul and kissed him softly. She promised Paul she was ok. Paul then hugged Liz slowly. Liz told him she passed out because she was worried about him. Paul hugged Liz again and promised her he would be ok. Liz whispered in his ear how he should also reassure Dawn he would be ok. Paul then motioned for Dawn again. As she walked over, Paul hugged Dawn and whispered how he would be ok. Paul then went on to tell her about his dream about the prom, an how he kept seeing it over and over. Dawn kissed him slowly and told him she loved him, she also told him he needed to show Liz a little more attention because Liz is his mom. Paul smiled and told her she was the worlds greatest cousin and lover. Dawn walked over to Liz and told her Paul wanted her to come over to him. Liz walked over and hugged Paul. Paul told her he loved her and he was so blessed being her son. Liz kissed Paul and thanked him for being the best son any mom could possibly ask for. Paul then motioned for Joe. When Joe approached Paul hugged him. Paul then told Joe he was the world's best father ever. After everyone hugged and talked a while, Joe took Dawn and Liz down for dinner. As Dawn Joe and Liz went to dinner, Paul's nurse came in to check on him. She gave him his pain medicine, checked his bandage, and checked his vital signs. As she listened to his chest, the nurse noticed a small rumbling in Paul's chest. She asked Paul how he felt. Paul told her he felt fine, he was just a little tired. The nurse told him he should close his eyes until his family got back. Paul closed his eyes, and rested until Dawn Joe and Liz came back. As they walked back in the room, the nurse motioned for Joe and Liz. She then told Dawn Paul was asking for her. Dawn walked in Paul's room, and hugged him. Paul kissed her and thanked her for being beside him during this hard time. Dawn kissed him back, and told him she would never leave his side no matter how difficult things would become. As Paul hugged Dawn, he began coughing. Dawn could hear the fluid in his lungs. She ran out and got everyone to come in with her. When they all walked back in, Paul told the nurse the coughing hurt this time. The nurse called Paul's pulmonologist and asked her what they should do. She told the nurse she would come in and take a look at him. Dawn and Liz looked at Paul and then at Joe. Joe knew this meant they were scared. Paul motioned for Joe to come over. Paul told Joe to take Liz for a walk and talk to her, he then told Joe he would talk to Dawn. Joe hugged him, and told Liz he wanted to go take a walk and get a soda. Liz told him ok just as long as they were there when the doctor came in. Joe took a walk with Liz to get a soda and calm her down. Meanwhile Dawn sat on the bed beside Paul on the bed. Paul took Dawn's hand in his and looked her in the eyes. He told Dawn he didn't come through the surgery as well as he had just to have fluid in his lungs do him in. Dawn hugged him and told him she loved him and was scared. Paul assured her he would get through this just fine. He then whispered in her ear he would have to be just fine, because he needed to be in shape for the recovery sex. Dawn whispered how she was not worried about that, all she was worried about was him getting better and him getting home. Paul kissed Dawn and told her he loved her more and more every day. Dawn laid beside Paul and stroked his hair. Just as Joe and Liz re-entered Paul's room, Paul's pulmonologist also walked in. She walked over to Paul and asked him how she was feeling. He told her outside his chest hurting when he coughed, he felt wonderful. The doctor listened to Paul's chest and put two orders on his chart. The first order was for 1000 mg of antibiotics 4 times per day. The second order was the placement of an NG tube down his throat to clear out his lungs. When Paul heard this, he began crying. Dawn wiped his tears, and promised him he would be ok. Paul then asked if the NG tube could be placed now so he could be surrounded by his family. The doctor looked at him, and pulled out the package with the tubing in it. The doctor carefully gave Paul a small shot in his nose to numb it. As she did so, Paul held on to Dawn's hand. The doctor then had Paul lean his head back. She told him swallow when he was told to. Paul agreed to do as he was told. As the doctor began feeding the tube in, she told Paul to begin swallowing. As Paul began swallowing, and the doctor began feeding the tube in, Paul squeezed Dawn's hand. When the doctor was finished placing the tube, Paul let go of Dawn's hand. He then looked in her eyes, and apologized for hurting her hand. Dawn kissed his cheek and whispered being in love means never having to say you're sorry. Paul whispered in Dawn's ear how much he was blessed having her there beside him. Dawn then hugged him softly. When visiting hours in the I.C.U. were over, Dawn Joe and Liz got ready to head home. Paul was surprised that Joe was the first to hug him to say good night. Next Liz came up, kissed Paul softly on his cheek, then hugged him softly. Dawn then hugged Paul and kissed his cheek and whispered she loved him and would miss him deeply. She whispered she would keep up to date on his recovery by calling Joe and Liz. Paul whispered he loved her and he would be home to her soon. Dawn whispered I will be beside you every weekend when you get home. Paul kissed her and whispered he loved her. Dawn got off the bed, and joined Joe and Liz to leave for the night. As everyone left, Paul settled in to get some sleep for the night. He had the nurse turn off his television, turn off his lights, and pull the covers over him. The nurse then handed Paul his call bell, and told him if he needed her just push the button. Paul closed his eyes and was dreaming with in five minutes. Sometime during the night, Paul pushed the call bell for his nurse. When the nurse walked in, he told her he needed his pain medicine. Ten minutes later the nurse came in, and gave him his medicine in his I.V. Paul then went back to sleep. The next morning when Paul woke up, he smiled when he saw Joe and Liz standing at the foot of his bed. They walked over to him and hugged him good morning. Paul kissed them both and told them he loved him. They whispered back they loved him too. As they were sitting and talking the doctor who performed the surgery came in to check on Paul. He asked Paul how he was feeling. Paul told him he was feeling ok. The doctor then checked his bandages and found them to be ok. When he was done he told Paul everything looked good. After the doctor left Liz and Joe brought up the subject of their summer vacation. Joe told Paul he had rented the summer house again. Paul smiled and told him he couldn't wait to go back down the beach. Joe hugged Paul and told him when was ready, Joe would take him shopping for new summer clothes. Paul smiled, and asked him when he got home would he be allowed to stay close to him and Liz. Joe reassured him when he got home someone would always be beside him. Just before lunchtime, Paul's pulmonologist walked in and listened to Paul's lungs. She told Paul he sounded good, however she wanted to keep the tube in him a little while longer. Paul asked her how much longer he would need to keep it in. The doctor told him she would only keep it in for 2 or 3 more days. Paul just gave his normal smile, and told the doctor ok. She then turned around and walked out. For the next three days, Paul's routine was the same. Joe and Liz would come visit, the surgeon would come check him, and finally the pulmonologist would come listen to his lungs. During this time Paul kept thinking of Dawn and how wonderful she was helping him get through this. Paul also kept thinking of how wonderful it would feel being back in her arms again soon. Thoughts like this were what would help ease Paul's pain. On the morning of the third day, the surgeon showed up as usual and checked Paul's bandages. He told Joe Liz and Paul everything was healing it should be. He asked Paul how he was feeling. Paul told him he was feeling better, however he was going crazy. The doctor told Paul when he got the tube out, and got in a regular room he would be getting in a wheelchair again. Paul smiled and thanked him. The doctor smiled and walked out of the room. A few minutes later, the pulmonologist walked in and asked Paul how he felt. He told her he felt better and was ready to get the tube pulled from his nose. She smiled and told him that was what she was there to do. The doctor told him she was going to give him a pain medicine so he wouldn't feel the tube coming out. After she injected the medicine into his I.V. she pulled the tube out for Paul. When the tube was out, Paul began breathing through his nose. The doctor told Paul he would be ok, and she would check in on him later. Twenty minutes later the nurse who took care of him on the floor came, and wheeled Paul back to his room on the floor. His doctor had moved him into a room right across the hall from the nurse's station. This way if Paul needed anything the nurses would be right there. Joe and Liz felt so much safer knowing where Paul was, and so did Paul. As Paul was getting settled, the doctor walked in and asked Paul if he would like trying to get into a chair. Paul asked if Joe could lift him into the chair. The doctor told him yes if it helped him feel more secure. Joe picked Paul up slowly and carefully, and placed him in the chair. Thankfully the chair was laying flat so Joe could slide Paul in the chair slowly. The doctor told Paul he would have to work his way to a sitting position, and remain sitting up straight for four hours. In her mind Liz knew Paul would be a while in doing this. In the back of Paul's mind he knew he needed to do this to get home for Liz's birthday. A week after the surgery, Paul was taken down to a special room to have his stitches removed from his spine. The doctor walked in, and told Paul to let him know if it began to hurt. Paul promised he would tell him. The doctor then helped Paul lay on his stomach, and he began removing Paul's stiches. With the removal of each stitch Paul laid silently still. Every so often, the doctor would ask Paul if he was ok. Paul reassured him he was ok. When the doctor reached the middle of Paul's back, Paul let the doctor know he could no long withstand the pain. The doctor told the nurse to give Paul an I.V. shot of pain medicine. The nurse gave Paul the medicine, and Paul closed his eyes. He began dreaming of Dawn and how much he loved her. The doctor finished pulling Paul's stitches, and waited for him to wake up. When Paul awoke, the nurse got Paul back into his chair. She then wheeled Paul back to his room. As they entered the room, Joe and Liz were waiting for him. Liz walked up, thanked the nurse for bringing him back, and then hugged Paul. She asked him how he was feeling now that his stitches were out. Paul smiled, and told her he felt so much better. Paul told Liz he wanted them to help him work on sitting up straight for as long as he could. Joe and Liz helped him work on sitting up. Paul was only able to hold out for twenty minutes at a time. Joe told him they would keep working on it with him. Paul hugged them and smiled. Two days later, Joe and Liz were shocked when they walked in Paul's room. They found him sitting up straight in his chair. Liz walked over and hugged him softly. Paul whispered he was determined to sit up straight, and come home. Liz asked him how long he had been sitting up. Paul asked her what time it was. When Liz told Paul what time it was, he smiled and told her he only had to make it two more hours. Joe smiled and walked over to hug Paul. He told him how proud he was of him. Paul smiled and told them he didn't want to let them down. Joe and Liz assured him he could never let them down. Paul smiled and told them he loved them. Joe suggested they take a walk. As Joe wheeled Paul out of his room, he asked him where he wanted to go. Paul smiled and asked if they could go to the gift shop. Joe wheeled Paul up to the desk, and signed him off the floor. Joe told the nurse they were going to the gift shop to kill some time while Paul was sitting up straight. The nurse told him she thought it would be a good idea. After getting on the elevator, Joe and Liz told Paul they had a surprise for him. Paul smiled and asked him what was going on. Joe told him when he got home, and was feeling better they were going to take him to visit Dawn. Paul smiled, he then asked if she would still be spending the weekends with him. Liz smiled and told him of course she would be. Joe told him the reason he said what he did was because Dawn had a surprise for him at her house. Paul smiled, and promised them he would be home soon. Joe and Liz smiled and hugged him. When they exited the elevator, they made their way to the gift shop. While wheeling around, Paul found a matching set of robes for him and Dawn. He then found a cute cuddly teddy bear with a heart saying I love you. Joe walked up, and showed Paul a model of an aircraft carrier. Paul smiled and told him they could build it together at night when he got home. Joe hugged him softly, and whispered now they needed to find something for Liz. Paul smiled, and showed Joe a dozen long stem silk roses. One dozen said Love you, and one said world's greatest mom. Joe picked a dozen of each. When they were finished, Joe paid for everything and they left the shop. As they were wheeling across the lobby, Paul noticed it was noon time. He looked up and smiled. Liz asked him why he was smiling. Paul told her he had done it. He had sat up straight for four hours. Liz hugged him, and kissed him. Joe walked around and hugged Paul. Paul told them he would be home soon. Liz smiled and told him she would love having him home with her. Paul smiled and told her he loved her. Joe told him he loved him too. Returning to the floor, Joe saw Paul's surgeon standing at the nurses' station. He signed Paul back onto the floor, and let the surgeon know the good news. The surgeon walked over to Paul and told him he was happy for him. He then told Paul if he could home in a day or two. Paul smiled, and thanked him for the good news. Joe shook his hand and told him they were ready to have Paul home. The doctor told him all he had to do was sit up again for four hours. Paul smiled, and told the surgeon he could do it. Then in the same breath he asked if he could go lay down and rest some. The doctor, Joe, and Liz all chuckled. The doctor told Paul that since he had done so well he could go lay down and rest. Paul asked if he could go home tomorrow. The doctor told him he would need to sit up in his chair again tomorrow. Paul hung his head down feeling discouraged. Liz walked over to him and whispered Dawn's name in his ear. Paul smiled and hugged Liz. After the doctor walked away, Joe Liz and Paul headed for Paul's room. Joe lifted Paul into his bed, and positioned him comfortably. Paul hugged Joe and Liz, and closed his eyes. When Paul awoke from his nap, he found Joe and Liz had left the room. He buzzed for the nurse, and asked her where they had went. She told him Joe and Liz had stepped out to get him an surprise for doing so well today. Paul smiled and asked her if she knew what they had planned for the surprise. She smiled and told him no, all she knew was they told her they had a huge surprise for him. Knowing his parents the way he did he wondered what they had planned. The nurse then helped Paul eat his dinner. As he ate he couldn't wait to see what Joe and Liz had done. Just as Paul finished his dinner, Joe and Liz walked in. Paul asked them if everything was ok. Joe smiled and told him everything was perfect. Paul looked at Liz and asked her where they had been. Liz told him they were arranging a small surprise for him. Paul smiled and asked what they had in mind. Joe wheeled him out to the nurses' station and signed him off the floor. Paul knew this meant he was going for a walk. Joe told the nurse they would be back before visiting hours ended. Joe and Liz then wheeled Paul out to the elevator. When they got off the elevator on the bottom floor, they headed for a small snack bar which was open around the clock. As they wheeled in, Paul looked up and saw Charles and Dawn standing there. Paul smiled as Charles and Dawn walked up and hugged them. As Dawn hugged him she whispered in his ear she was happy to hear he was going to be home soon. Paul told her he couldn't wait to be home. Charles Dawn Joe Liz and Paul sat in the snack bar, and talked about how Paul's recovery was going. Joe told Charles if things went the way they had hoped, Paul would be home the next day. Dawn smiled when she heard this. She told him she would be so happy knowing he was home. They all continued sitting around talking until it was ten minutes before the end visiting time. Joe then told them he needed to get Paul back up and in his bed before they left. Charles and Dawn hugged Paul and told him they would see him when he got home. Dawn then hugged Paul again, and whispered she loved him and couldn't wait to hold him again. As Joe and Liz got Paul back in his room, and in bed the announcement that visiting hours were over was made. They got Paul positioned in bed, gave him his call bell, and kissed him goodnight. As they walked out the door, Paul's nurse walked in and took his vital signs. She then asked Paul if he needed anything before he went to sleep. He told her no he would be fine. Paul then curled up and went to sleep. In the morning, Paul woke up early and got in his wheelchair. He looked at the clock and saw it was 7:30 a.m. He told himself he could do it. He knew in his heart he would make it home tomorrow. Paul had his breakfast, then did his schoolwork for the day. He decided to keep himself busy. Paul never once looked up at the clock. When he finally did, it was noon time, and his lunch was coming in. As he sat and ate lunch, Joe and Liz walked in. They asked Paul how long he had been sitting up. Paul told them he had been up for four and half hours. They all smiled and hugged each other. Paul told them he couldn't wait to get home. Joe told Paul he would be able to come home and rest in the living room. Paul smiled, and hugged them again. Liz looked in Paul's eyes and began sobbing softly. Paul hugged her and asked her what was bothering her. She told him she was just relieved she would have him home with her. Paul whispered he loved her and he told her he was sorry for making her worry. Liz hugged him and told him he didn't need to apologize. Joe smiled and told Liz they would take turns staying beside Paul as he rested. Liz hugged Joe and told him she liked the sounds of that. Paul smiled seeing how close Joe and Liz had become. He knew in his heart this brought them all closer. Joe decided since Paul had given him and Liz such wonderful new, he would take him and Liz to dinner down the cafeteria. When they went down for dinner, Joe Liz and Paul sat and ate while Joe told Paul that when he was better, he would be helping Joe pick out their new van. Paul smiled and hugged Joe. Liz was so happy to see Paul back to his normal self. She hugged Joe and Paul, and told them she loved them both. When they finished their meal, they headed back to Paul's room. While Joe lifted Paul back in bed, Liz went to work on packing Paul's bags. She left out one change of clothes for him to wear home in the morning. Liz then cuddled up in bed beside Paul. She whispered how she missed cuddling with him. Paul smiled and told her he missed it too. Joe smiled and hugged them both. Paul smiled and asked if they could all cuddle when he got home. Joe told him sure they could. Paul smiled and told them he couldn't wait. Liz tucked Paul in, and fixed him up with his call bell. Just as Joe and Liz were walking out the door, Paul's nurse came walking in to take his vitals. As she took Paul's vitals, Paul began thinking of dawn and how wonderful she made him feel. He fell asleep dreaming of her. In the morning when Paul woke up, he buzzed for his nurse to come in. When she did he asked if he could get washed up and dressed. She told him no problem. Paul explained it was because he wanted to be ready to go home. The nurse smiled, and washed Paul up. She asked him if he was ready to go home. Paul smiled and told her he couldn't wait until he got home. Paul's nurse then took his vital signs, and told him he was all ready to go home. When Joe and Liz arrived, Paul was sitting in his chair ready to go. Paul wheeled up to Joe and Liz and hugged them. Joe asked him if he was ready to leave. Paul told him he was more than ready. The nurse then walked in with his discharge papers. While Liz was putting Paul's coat on, Joe signed Paul's papers. The nurse then walked up to Paul and removed his I.V. and then his patient I.D. bracelet. Joe smiled along with Liz as they wheeled Paul out to the car. On the ride home, Paul cuddled up to Liz and fell asleep. Liz held Paul gently as she watched him sleep. She looked down at Paul told Joe she felt so blessed having him home again. Joe told Liz he felt the same way. Meanwhile Paul was dreaming of how wonderful Dawn Joe and Liz had been to him through this all. He thought how wonderful it was having Dawn with him the entire day. Dreaming these things made Paul smile. As they drove home, Joe and Liz decided to give Paul a treat. Joe decided they would stop at his favorite year round ice cream shop. When they pulled in the parking lot, Paul woke up. When he saw where they were, Paul smiled. Joe asked him what he wanted. Paul told Joe he wanted a black and white milk shake. Liz told Joe she wanted the same. Joe told them he would be right back. He ran in, and came back out with the shakes. They sat in the car with the heat running while they enjoyed their shakes. After their shakes, Joe headed for home. Paul curled up by Liz and closed his eyes. Liz looked over at Joe with a look of complete concern. He whispered to Liz asking her what was wrong. She whispered back she was concerned because Paul kept going to sleep on them on the way home. Joe looked at Liz and whispered she had no reason to worry. He whispered how Paul had just been through an extremely delicate surgery, and him sleeping was his body's way to recover on its own. Liz smiled and thanked Joe. Paul woke up, and looked at Liz and told her he would be fine he was just tired from riding. They all smiled and Joe continued on their way home. As they pulled in the drive way, Paul told Joe he wanted to lay down on the couch when he got in. Liz looked in Paul's eyes, and told him she would lay down beside him. Paul smiled and told her he couldn't wait for her to hold him. Joe picked Paul up slowly and gently, and carried Paul into the house. Liz followed in behind them. When Joe laid Paul on the couch, he asked him if he needed or wanted anything. Paul looked at Joe and told him he only had one favor to ask. Joe told him they would do anything to make him feel safe. Paul asked him if someone would please stay beside him. Liz and Joe surprised him when Liz cuddled him on the couch while Joe laid on the floor. Liz stroked his hair, and kissed him slowly. Soon everyone was sleeping. Joe was the first to open his eyes, and look around. He noticed Liz and Paul were still sleeping. Joe went to the kitchen and ordered a Pizza to be delivered for dinner. He then returned to the couch, and sat back down on the floor. The next one to open their eyes was Paul. He looked down at Joe and smiled. Liz then opened her eyes, noticed the time and asked what they wanted for dinner. Joe smiled and told her dinner was on its way. Liz smiled and leaned down to kiss Joe. Just as they broke their kiss, there was a knock at the door. Joe opened the door to pay for the pizza. He then carried it out to the kitchen table. After putting the pizza on plates, Joe came in and put Paul in his chair. Liz then wheeled Paul to the table. Joe smiled when he saw Paul smiling again. Liz looked down and saw Paul smiling, and this caused her to smile also. As they sat eating Paul asked if he was still allowed to have his weekend sleepovers with Dawn. Joe and Liz laughed and told him they felt he deserved his sleepovers after all he just been through. Paul smiled and thanked them. Liz helped Paul eat, as she saw him beginning to struggle. Paul finished his pizza and sat with Joe and Liz while they finished their dinner. When they were done with their dinner, Joe Liz and Paul went into the living room to relax. As they sat watching television, Paul heard a vehicle pull up to the house. He looked out the door, and noticed Charles and Dawn walking up the ramp. When they entered the house, Charles hugged Paul and Liz before shaking Joe's hand. Dawn then hugged Joe then Liz and finally Paul. As she hugged Paul she whispered she loved him, and also whispered they were still allowed to have their weekend sleepovers. Paul whispered he couldn't wait until their weekend sleepovers started again. Dawn then hugged Joe and Liz. She then returned to sitting right beside Paul. They all discussed how wonderful it felt to have Paul home, and how wonderful it felt knowing he had come through the surgery without a problem. Paul then hugged Dawn again. He whispered in Dawn's ear he could only hope he could please her when she was there. Dawn told Charles Joe and Liz they would be back. She then wheeled Paul into his room. Dawn locked Paul's door, and turned on his light. Paul in his own mind knew Dawn was upset with him over what he had said to her. Dawn then walked over to him, took his hands in hers, and told him she loved him. She then looked in his eyes, and told him if he could only hold her in his arms for a while, she would understand. Dawn then told him she didn't need sex to be pleased by the man she loved. Paul's eyes watered up as he hugged Dawn. She kissed him softly and whispered she would be gentle with him. Paul kissed her back, and whispered he knew she would be. Dawn stroked his cheek, and whispered she was so happy he was back in her arms where he belonged. She then opened the door, turned the light off and wheeled Paul back out to the living room. Around 9:00 p.m. Paul began to get tired. He asked Liz if it would be ok for him to go to bed. Charles to them him and Dawn were headed for home anyway so they could get some sleep. Charles and Dawn hugged everyone goodnight, and told them goodbye. As Charles and Dawn walked out, Paul headed for his bedroom. After Joe shut the door, Liz walked in to put Paul in bed. Joe walked in and lifted Paul onto the bed for Liz. Paul asked if he could just sleep in the clothes he was in. Joe carefully positioned Paul in bed, and covered him in his favorite blankets. Paul smiled, and asked which one of them would be staying close beside him. Joe laughed and told him they would both be sleeping in sleeping bags beside him. Paul smiled, then closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep. Through out the night Paul woke up several times to either reposition or due to pain. Each time he awoke, Joe and Liz took turns getting up with him. Neither one of them complained because they were just so happy to have Paul home with them where he belonged. Paul would go right back to sleep after being taken care of. During his sleep, Paul dreamed of how wonderful it felt being home, and back in Dawn's arms where he belong. The rest of the week Joe Liz and Paul all concentrated on Paul getting stronger. Joe and Liz also went to Paul's school to make arrangements to have a tutor come out to the house. Joe and Liz went and spoke with the principal, and explained the situation. The principal explained the tutor would have to come through Paul's home school district. Joe and Liz knew the principal of the school in their home district. They went to speak with him and arrange for a tutor to come out. When they explained the situation, the principal told them a tutor would be knocking on their door sometime Monday after school. Joe and Liz thanked him, and headed home. When Friday afternoon arrived Paul was sitting in the living watching cartoons. Just as one of his cartoons ended, he heard Charles' truck pull up in front of the house. He wheeled over, and watched as Dawn got out of Charles' truck and ran up the ramp. She opened the door and was greeted by Paul. When they knew Charles had left, Dawn wrapped her arms around Paul and kissed him slowly, deeply, and passionately. Paul held Dawn close to him and told her how wonderful it felt being back beside her. Dawn looked in his eyes and told him she couldn't stop thinking of the day she would be back beside him. Just as they began kissing again, Joe and Liz walked in. They smiled and told Dawn and Paul they had a surprise for them. Paul's ears perked up and heard the surprise. He asked what they had in mind. Joe told him he would see when everything was ready. Paul smiled and hugged Dawn. Liz smiled and told them they would love their surprise. Joe leaned down, picked up Dawn's bag and carried it to Paul's room for her. Dawn thanked him, and hugged him when he came back out. Dawn then told Joe Liz and Paul she had finished her homework before she came over. Paul tapped Dawn on the arm. She turned around and asked him what he needed. Paul told her he just wanted a hug. Dawn hugged him and held him close to her. As Dawn hugged him, Paul whispered in her ear how he really loved having time off from school. He went on to whisper he just didn't like how he got the time off. Dawn kissed him and whispered she loved having him home again. Dawn wheeled Paul into his room and closed the door behind them. She then sat on Paul's lap and laid her head on his chest. Paul ran his hand up and down Dawn's side. Dawn told him she missed him holding her the way he was now. Paul softly kissed her and told her he would hold her anytime she wanted him to. Dawn smiled and told Paul she wanted him to hold her forever. Paul smiled and promised he would. Dawn asked him if she could sleep in bed beside him. Paul told her he would always sleep beside her. Before Dawn and Paul could do anymore, Liz knocked on the door and told them it was time for dinner. Dawn wheeled Paul out to the kitchen and found a nice candle light dinner for the four of them. Joe and Liz sat on one side of the table while Dawn and Paul sat on the other side. They sat around talking about how wonderful it felt having Paul back home with them where he belonged. Dawn leaned over and kissed Paul slowly. Paul smiled and told Dawn he loved knowing she was beside him all the way. She told him she would never walk away from him ever. As they finished dinner, Paul asked if he could go lay on the couch. Dawn promised she would stay beside him and keep her eyes on him. Joe laid Paul on the couch, and Dawn laid down beside him. Joe then returned to the kitchen. As Dawn wrapped her arms around Paul, he flinched. Dawn asked him if he was ok. Paul assured her he was ok. He went on to tell her he flinched because he was just slightly tender. Dawn kissed the back of Paul's neck and whispered in his ear how she felt so wonderful it felt being back beside him. She told him how while he was in the hospital all she could do was think of him and all he had been through. Paul told her how when things were rough, all he could do was think of her. He went on to tell her how he would close his eyes and see her smile looking back at him. Dawn told him how she would sit in school and think of him and how she would even think of him as she did her homework. Paul told her how he was wondering what surprise Joe and Liz were planning. Dawn laughed and told Paul she thought they would find out soon enough. Paul laid in Dawn's arms and began to drift off. When it was bedtime for Dawn and Paul, Joe and Liz came in carrying sleeping bags. Joe connected a set together for him and Liz. Then Joe took the other set and connected the other set for together for Dawn and Paul. Joe gently placed Paul in one sleeping bag and Dawn laid in the one connected to Paul. Dawn carefully cuddled up to Paul and kissed him. Paul kissed Dawn and ran his hands slowly up and down Dawn's body. She gently rolled over on top of Paul. Paul held her softly as he kissed her slowly. Meanwhile Joe and Liz laid in their sleeping bags kissing each other and caressing each other. Liz then slid over and began kissing both Dawn and Paul. Not wanting to be left out Joe slid over behind Liz, and began rubbing his throbbing cock over her soft smooth pussy lips. Slowly Joe slid his cock inside Liz. Dawn then slid up so Paul could lick her soft smooth pussy. Liz then moved down so she could slip her mouth around Paul's stiffening cock. The four lovers made the type of gentle love they had been craving for a while. When the four of them reached their climaxes they closely cuddled and fell asleep holding each other lovingly. In the morning, Dawn and Liz woke up and headed for the bathroom. The two lovers climbed into the shower and began kissing. Dawn slid down on her knees and began licking slowly on Liz's clit. She then slid the tip of her tongue along the edges of Liz's soft smooth lips. Liz moan softly and held Dawn's head in place. As Dawn licked on Liz slowly, she could taste Liz's juices begin to flow. Liz's moans turned Dawn on more. Dawn slid her tongue inside Liz and licked hungrily. Feeling Liz's pussy tighten around her tongue, Dawn licked and licked until Liz flooded Dawn's mouth with her sweet juices. Dawn stood up, adjusted the water for a warm relaxing shower. After their shower Dawn and Liz went in to get dressed. Meanwhile in Paul's room, Joe woke up and looked at Paul laying beside him. He slowly rolled Paul over and asked how he was feeling. Paul told him he was feeling wonderful. Joe smiled, and began massaging Paul's body slowly. In response to Joe's touch, Paul slid up to Joe, and felt Joe's cock rubbing his butt crack. Joe whispered in his ear he would be gentle. He then slowly slid his cock in to Paul's butt. Paul moaned and began moving slowly in rhythm with Joe. With every stroke, Paul's butt took more and more in. Joe held Paul to him as he filled Paul's butt with his thick ropes of cum. As Joe and Paul cuddled, Joe told Paul how much he truly loved him. Paul then told Joe he loved him too. Joe then called Liz in to help him wash Paul up. Liz walked in and brought in all that was needed for Paul's sponge bath. As they bathed him, Liz looked down at Paul and began kissing him. Joe then moved down and began sucking on Paul's soft cock. Paul began moaning softly as he let the feelings wash over him. He loved how the attention he was receiving from Joe and Liz. Paul closed his eyes and enjoyed how it felt. Joe could feel Paul's orgasm building in his throbbing cock. Joe sucked more and more as Paul moaned louder and louder. Liz kissed down Paul's neck and began sucking on his nipples. Feeling this sent Paul over the edge, and he filled Joe's mouth with rope after rope of his hot cum. When his body relaxed, Joe helped Liz give Paul his bath. When Paul was cleaned and dressed, Dawn came in and wheeled Paul out to the living room. She wheeled Paul up beside the couch so hit could sit next to her. As they sat watching television, Dawn leaned over, and kissed Paul. She then whispered how wonderful it felt being back beside him felt. Paul told Dawn he was afraid he wasn't going to get the chance to be back beside her. Dawn looked in his eyes, and told him he was safe and back home beside her where he belonged. She then got up off the couch, and sat gently on his lap. As Dawn sat on Paul's lap, she slid her sweats down, and then exposed Paul's soft cock. She then slid Paul's cock up and down her butt crack before sliding it inside her inch by inch. Dawn and Paul both moaned in pleasure as Dawn slowly rode up and down on Paul. Paul held on to Dawn's hips and guided her up and down his now pulsing cock. The longer Dawn slid up and down on Paul, the louder the two lovers moaned. When Paul felt his orgasm building he held Dawn down on his cock. Paul then filled Dawn's butt hole with ropes and ropes of his hot cum. As the young lovers calmed down from their orgasm Dawn laid her head on Paul's chest. Paul stroked Dawn's hair and kissed her tenderly. Liz walked in the living room, and told Dawn and Paul that breakfast was ready. Dawn slowly slid off Paul's lap and wheeled him out to the kitchen. Liz had made them Paul's favorite breakfast of funnel cakes and milk. Dawn sat beside Paul and helped feed him. As they ate Liz asked Dawn how school was going. Dawn told her school was ok, but she was concentrating more on helping Paul recover from his surgery. Liz smiled and told her she could understand it completely. Liz then hugged Dawn and Paul. She then cleared the table. Dawn wheeled Paul into the living room. Liz followed in behind them and asked what they had planned to do. Paul smiled and told Liz he would love it if he could cuddle with her and Dawn. Liz smiled, and told Paul she would love cuddling with him and Dawn. Liz then picked Paul up and laid him on the floor. Dawn laid down beside him and Liz laid down on his other side. Liz rubbed her hand over Paul's chest, while Dawn slid her hand inside Paul's sweats. Liz began kissing Paul while Dawn slid down his sweats. After getting his pants off, Dawn slowly took Paul's cock in her mouth. Liz kissed Paul slowly and tenderly, while Dawn sucked Paul's cock and balls lovingly. Paul put his arm around Liz and pulled her closer as they kissed. Dawn ran her tongue up and down Paul's cock until she felt him begin to get hard. She then switched places with Liz. Paul loved kissing Dawn and tasting his own cock on her lips. As they kissed, Liz took Paul's cock and balls in her mouth. She began sucking him slowly and gently feeling him get hard in her mouth. As Dawn kissed Paul, he began moaning because of what Liz was doing. Between kissing Dawn, and Liz sucking his dick, Paul orgasmed and filled Liz's mouth with rope after rope of his thick cum. When they all calmed down, the three lovers cuddled and fell asleep in each others arms. As they awaken, Liz looks out the window and notices the snow falling down. Silently she goes to look for Joe. She finds him down the basement building a fire. Liz walks up to Joe and wraps her arms around him from behind. She whispered in his ear asking him what was on his mind. Joe looked back at her and told her he was thinking of how proud he was of Paul for the way he handled the surgery. Liz kissed him slowly and told him she knew what he meant. Joe turned to face Liz and asked her what was on her mind. Liz looked in Joe's eyes and told him she was thinking of how Paul and Dawn looked more and more like lovers every time they were together. Joe let out a small laugh and then told Liz he remembered how they looked when they were dating. Liz smiled and pulled Joe in to her. Joe slid his hands up and down Liz's butt cheeks. Liz looked in Joe's eyed and ran her hands slowly down his chest. Joe kissed Liz and slowly began to slide his hands inside her jeans. Liz felt his hands as they rested on her butt cheeks. She slowly began grinding her pussy against Joe's cock. Joe lead Liz over to the couch in front of the fireplace. He laid her down slowly as he kissed down her neck. Joe laid on top of her and began caressing her softly. Liz looked in Joe's eyes and saw the passion like they shared on their wedding night. Joe had just unzipped Liz's jeans when he heard Paul call out for them. He zipped her jeans back up, and walked up stairs. Joe walked in the living room and asked Paul what was wrong. Paul told him his back was beginning to hurt him. Joe walked in the kitchen and came back with Paul's medicine. Paul took his pill and laid back down beside Dawn. Joe sat on the love seat and watched Paul as he cuddled up to Dawn on the floor. Liz walked in and sat down beside Joe. She asked him what he was thinking. Joe told her he was thinking of all Paul had been through in life, and how Paul never complained not even once. Liz told him she understood. They cuddled on the love seat, until Paul and Dawn both woke up. That night at dinner, Paul shocked Joe and Liz when he asked them if they were proud of him. Joe walked up and hugged Paul. He reassured Paul they were both very proud of him. Joe went on to tell him how much they felt blessed having him as their son. Liz then got up and came over to Paul. She hugged him softly and rubbed his back gently. Not wanting to be left out, Dawn leaned in and hugged Paul also. She whispered in Liz's ear she wanted to ask her something. After dinner, Dawn took Liz into Paul's room. She then shut the door. Liz asked if everything was ok. Dawn told Liz she wanted help doing something for Paul. Liz asked her what she had in mind. Dawn suggested her and Liz seduce Paul slowly. Liz smiled and told her she liked the idea. Dawn suggested they do it right before her and Paul went to bed. Liz looked at her and smiled. Dawn suggested they do a slow strip tease for Paul. Liz smiled and told her they should wear a robe and Paul's favorite panties for each of them underneath. Dawn smiled and told Liz how she would be wearing her cartoon panties. Liz told Dawn she would be wearing her black lace thong. Dawn licked her lips and smiled. Liz kissed her before they left the room. As Dawn and Liz walked in the living room, Paul and Joe smiled. Dawn walked directly over to Paul and hugged him. Liz walked up to Joe, kissed him, and sat on his lap. Joe was surprised by Liz doing this. He put his arms around Liz and began kissing her as his hands caressed her slowly. Dawn then carefully sat herself down on Paul's lap and laid her head on his chest. Paul stroked her hair, and whispered he loved her more and more every day. Dawn kissed Paul softly on his neck. The four lovers watched a romantic comedy. When it came time for bed, Joe wheeled Paul into his room, and lifted him into bed. Joe then left the light on as he walked out the room. Paul laid in his bed waiting for Dawn and Liz to come in to say good night. He had just closed his eyes, when Dawn and Liz walked in slowly. When Paul realized that all they had on were robes, he smiled widely. Dawn was the first to approach Paul. She slowly leaned over, and teased Paul by showing him she was topless underneath. Dawn then slowly untied her robe as she had her back to Paul. She then let the robe slide down and off revealing Paul's favorite panties of hers. Dawn then joined Paul in bed. Next Liz walked over, and leaned over showing Paul she was topless. She then did the same as Dawn. When Paul saw Liz's butt in her black thong, he smiled widely again. Liz then walked over, and reached inside Paul's sweat pants. She gently took hold of Paul's soft cock, and began stroking him slowly. While Liz was stroking Paul, Dawn leaned in and kissed Paul lovingly. Paul responded by holding Dawn close to him while they kissed. Liz worked Paul's stiffening cock up and down slowly. Dawn began rubbing Paul's chest as she kissed him. Between Liz stroking him, and Dawn rubbing his chest Paul began moaning. As he moaned Liz picked up her pace stroking Paul. It didn't take long before Paul's stiff cock filled Liz's hand with ropes and ropes of his cum. As he calmed down, Liz left the room, and let Dawn and Paul cuddle and get some sleep. As Sunday morning came around, Dawn and Paul cuddled in his bed. Dawn held Paul in her arms and told him how much she loved him, and how she was so proud of him how he was doing recovering. Paul kissed her lovingly and told her that the reason he was doing so well was because her and Liz were by his side. Dawn told him they would always be beside him no matter what. Paul slowly ran his fingers down Dawn's back. He then pulled Dawn closer to him. Dawn ran her hand gently down Paul's back. She then whispered in his ear how she hated the thoughts of leaving to go home. Paul kissed her lovingly and whispered he felt the same way. After being awake for about an hour, Liz walked in to get Paul up. Liz asked Dawn if she would help her get Paul up. Dawn asked Liz how she could help. Liz told Dawn she could hold Paul as Liz washed his back side. Dawn told Liz she would help her any way she could. Liz rolled Paul on his side, and she then told Dawn to hold him by placing her hands on his side. As Dawn supported Paul, Liz washed his back, and butt and then dried him off. When Liz was done, Dawn helped Liz roll Paul over on his back. Liz then finished Paul's bath and got him dressed. Dawn then changed her clothes so she was ready to go home. Liz then asked Dawn and Paul what they wanted for breakfast. Dawn and Paul agreed on cereal. Liz then wheeled Paul out to the kitchen. Dawn followed, and then asked Paul what type of cereal he wanted. Paul told her to grab anything that she wanted. Dawn brought over the cereal and helped Paul with his bowl while she ate also. As they sat eating, Liz told Paul that she had some news for him. Paul asked what was going on. Liz told him that the school was sending out a tutor beginning Monday. Paul smiled, and told Liz he wondered when the tutor would be starting. Dawn leaned in and whispered in his ear that the tutor better not be a cute female. Paul kissed Dawn and told her he wouldn't cheat on her even if the tutor was a cute female. Dawn laughed ant told Paul she trusted him and his love for her. This made Paul happy. Paul then asked Dawn if there was anything special she wanted to do the following weekend. Dawn told his she would love it if him her and Liz could go walk around the mall. Paul looked over at Liz and asked if it would be ok. Liz told him it would be if the weather didn't turn bad on them. Dawn hugged Paul and whispered she loved him. When Dawn and Paul were done breakfast, Dawn wheeled Paul in so they could watch television. As they sat watching a movie, Dawn kissed Paul and told him if they went to the mall she had a surprise for him. Paul looked deep in Dawn eyes and told her he didn't need any surprises as long as he had her. He went on to tell her he loved, valued, and treasured every moment they shared together. Dawn stood up, and sat down on Paul's lap. She leaned her head on his chest, and listened to his heartbeat. Paul stroked her hair, and kissed the top of her head. He then whispered how she was the inspiration to get him through his surgery. Dawn looked up in his eyes, and told him how she would be there for him through anything good or bad. Paul hugged her, and thanked her for being so wonderful to him. As the day went on, Dawn asked Paul if he was ready to go back to school. Paul told her he was, because even though he was going back to school, he would still be at home if he needed to lay down. Dawn smiled, and told him if he laid down she only had one request. Paul asked what her request was. Dawn told him all she asked of him, was he think of her as he laid in bed. Paul smiled and told her he always thought of her when he would lay in bed. Dawn kissed him softly, and told him she always thought of him as she laid in her bed also. Paul held Dawn to him, and thanked her for loving him. Dawn looked up in Paul's eyes and smiled lovingly. Before Paul and Dawn could do anything, Charles pulled up to bring her home. As Charles made his way up the ramp, Dawn jumped off Paul's lap and sat on the couch. Dawn and Paul hated having to hide their love around the rest of the family. Charles knocked on the door, and Dawn let him in. He asked Paul how he was feeling. Paul told him he was feeling ok and how he was going to go back to school the next day. Charles told him he was happy for him. Liz walked in, and told Charles how the school had arranged for a tutor to come out to the house so Paul wouldn't fall behind. She went on to tell Charles how having Dawn there with him, seemed to lift Paul's spirit. Charles smiled and told Liz he got the hint. He turned back to Paul and told him he would see him next weekend. Paul smiled, and thanked Charles. Dawn then walked up and hugged Liz and Paul good bye. Paul then sat and watched as Charles and Dawn pulled away. The rest of the night, Joe Liz and Paul sat and watched television. They all cuddled up on the floor in their sleeping bags. Paul asked Liz what time the tutor would be at the house. Liz told him she was told the tutor would be there at 3:00 p.m. Paul smiled and told Liz that was good because that meant all the shows he watched with Liz would be done. Joe and Liz laughed and told Paul that him saying those words showed them he was coming back around. Paul told them he was anxious to get back to school. Joe and Liz hugged Paul and told him they were proud of him. Paul told them he loved them so much. The rest of the night Paul remained cuddled close to Liz. He slept soundly as he laid in Liz's arms. In the morning, Joe and Liz carried Paul in his room to wash him up and dress him. As they gave Paul his bath, he asked Joe and Liz if they would be close by while the tutor was there. Liz told him they would both be somewhere in the house. Paul smiled and told them he would feel better knowing they were close by. Liz told Paul she would be in the living room, and Joe told him he would be in the basement. Paul thanked them both and hugged them. Liz then wheeled Paul out so he could have breakfast. Liz walked in the kitchen then asked Paul what he wanted for breakfast. Paul told her he would love some oatmeal. Liz began making Paul's breakfast, and thought of how much she loved him. She thanked God she had the bond with Paul that she did. Liz stood at the stove and looked over at Paul. She knew how wonderful things were going for all of them. Paul looked over at Liz and asked her to put extra sugar in his oatmeal. Liz laughed and told him she would do it but he was already sweet enough. Paul smiled and told Liz he loved her too. As Liz carried Paul's breakfast to him, she noticed Paul was in deep thought. She asked him what he was thinking of. Paul told her he was thinking how blessed he felt having her Dawn and Joe by his side. Liz hugged him and kissed him softly. She then sat down beside him, and fed him carefully. After his breakfast, Paul sat at the kitchen table and read over his school books. While he was reading Liz came up and asked him how he was feeling. Paul told her he was ok, but that he was also a little nervous about how the tutoring was going to go. Liz sat down beside Paul and asked him why he was so nervous. Paul confessed he was nervous because he was not used to being in school at home. Liz told him that he would not be alone in the house. Paul hugged Liz and told her he loved her. Liz hugged him, and sat with him while he read over his books more. When Paul was done reading over his books, he asked Liz if she would lay down with him, and take a nap. Liz told him she would as long as they were up in time for the tutor. He understood what she meant. Liz then wheeled Paul into the living room, and laid down on the floor with him. She then called out for Joe. When he came in she asked him asked to make sure her and Paul would be up in time for the tutor. Joe told her he would make sure they were both up for the tutor. Liz and Paul then cuddled on the floor, and took their nap. Approximately a half an hour before the tutor was to show up, Joe woke Liz and Paul up. Joe picked Paul up and put him back in his chair. He then wheeled Paul out to the kitchen while Liz made Paul a hot cup of tea to wake him up. Paul drank his tea and talked to Joe and Liz about how he hoped he would be back in school soon. He also told them how he was praying their summer vacation wouldn't be at risk because of his recovery. Joe promised him they would go away no matter what. Paul smiled and thanked them both. As Paul finished his tea, there was a knock at the door. Joe walked to the door, and let the tutor in. He lead her to the kitchen where Paul was sitting. The tutor introduced herself to Paul as Mrs. G. She sat down next to Paul and told him she would be coming to see him three days a week so he could keep up in school. Paul smiled and asked her how far he was behind right now. She told him he was only behind by a week but that she could get him caught up. Paul told her he wanted to get caught up because he didn't want to repeat the year. Mrs. G. told him she would help him get caught up. The first thing she did was open up the lesson plans the teacher from school sent him home with. Next she looked how far he had gotten while he was going to school in the hospital. She smiled and then told Paul she had good news for him. Paul asked her what it was. She told him he was only a day behind and not a week like they thought. Paul then sat with Mrs. G. and worked on the one day he needed to catch up on. After finishing that day, they worked on the assignments for the current day. As they worked, Paul kept thinking of Dawn and how he couldn't wait to see her on Friday. Mrs. G. noticed how fast Paul was doing his math assignments. She was even more shocked when she checked it, and it was all done correctly. They then finished the other subjects they needed to cover. When they were done, Mrs. G. asked Joe and Liz what days would work best for them. Paul hung his head, and looked at Liz sadly. Liz knew what that look was for. Liz then looked over at Joe. Joe then told Mrs. G that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday would be best. Mrs. G. told them she would see them tomorrow then. She shook everyone's hand and walked out. After she left Joe walked in and asked Paul how things went. Paul told him everything went great. Joe asked him what he was working on. Paul told him he was doing his homework. Liz walked out, and sat down with Paul. Joe decided to join them. As Paul did his homework, he thanked Joe and Liz for not having the tutor there on Fridays. Liz laughed and told him she knew that was what his sad puppy dog eyes were for. She told him she knew he didn't want the tutor there when Dawn was supposed to be there. When Paul finished his work, he asked Joe to lay him down on the floor so he could take a nap. Joe wheeled Paul into the living room, and laid him down on the floor. He covered Paul up with a blanket, and promised him he would be on the couch while he slept. Paul closed his eyes, and began dreaming of how it would feel being back in Dawn's arms. He could actually feel Dawn's arms around him. Paul could see Dawn's smile as he held her after they made love. He imagined he was running his fingers through her long silky hair. Paul began smiling and rolling over on the floor. Joe wondered what Paul was dreaming about. He knew it must of been something that was making Paul happy. When Paul woke up from his nap, Joe looked down at him and asked what he was dreaming about. Paul blushed and told Joe how he had been dreaming of Dawn. Joe told him he remembered those days from when he was dating Liz. Paul asked Joe where Liz was. He told him she was out in the kitchen making dinner. Paul asked Joe to put him in his chair so he could go out and see what was for dinner. Before Joe could pick Paul up, Liz called them for dinner. The next three months went by with the same routine. Paul's tutor would come Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays, then Paul would nap, then dinner, followed by homework, then bed. Paul would count down the hours until Dawn would come for the weekends. Then on the weekends Dawn and Paul would spend as much time as possible in bed cuddling and making love. They would also join in with Joe and Liz when they could. And when the weekends were over, Dawn and Paul would go back to counting the hours again. On the first Wednesday in May Paul went to the doctor to be cleared to go back to school. The doctor ordered x-rays so he could see how the rods were settling in Paul's back. After the x-rays were done, the doctor came in to see how things were going. He asked Paul how he was feeling. Paul told him he was feeling much better, and he was ready to go back to school. The doctor looked at Joe and Liz and asked them how they would feel about Paul going back to school. Joe and Liz both agreed Paul should go back to school. Paul smiled as he watched the doctor filled out the paperwork clearing Paul to go back to school. After the doctor signed them, he told Joe Liz and Paul he would see all of them back in three months for Paul's check up. When they got home from the doctor, Joe called Paul's school to let them know he was cleared to go back to school. The teacher told Joe she was happy to hear that. She asked him when Paul would be returning to school. Joe told her he would be coming back on that Monday. She told him they would need to be shown how to lift Paul, and how to bathroom him since he had the rods put in. Joe told her that he would be bringing Paul in for his first day along with Liz. She told him she looked forward to seeing all of them. That Monday when it came time for Paul to go back to school, Joe and Liz helped Paul get ready. They dressed him, fed him, and put him the car. As they drove to school, Paul asked Joe and Liz what they would be doing while he was in school. Liz told him they would be home working in the back yard. Paul told her he asked because he was nervous about going back. Liz hugged him and told him he would be ok and they would be back to get him at the end of the day. As they pulled up at the school, Joe and Liz took Paul into the classroom. The teacher walked over and welcomed Paul back. She then asked Joe and Liz if there was anything new they needed to know. Joe told her how Paul needed to be laid flat on his back so he could use the urinal. Liz then wheeled Paul in the bathroom to show the teacher how to lift Paul safely. After doing so, they came back out to the classroom. When the teacher felt that all her questions had been answered, Joe and Liz left to go home. During his first day back, all the kids were asking Paul a lot of questions. Paul was also concentrating on his school work. When it came time for lunch, Paul's friend who had been hitting on him before his surgery asked Paul to help her set the table. The teacher then asked Paul if he would help. Paul wheeled into the bathroom to get things for lunch. As he wheeled in, his friend followed in behind him. When she knew no one could see, his friend pulled up her dress revealing her panties to him. Paul shrugged his shoulders, and continued what he was doing. He then wheeled out and set the table for lunch. When the school day was over, Joe and Liz showed up to pick Paul up. They asked the teacher how things went. She told them Paul seemed to have done well coming back. She told them he acted like he was his old self again. While they were talking Liz looked over at Paul, and noticed he looked like he was drifting off to sleep. She walked over, and wheeled him back over where Joe and the teacher were. Joe looked down at Paul and saw how tired he was. The teacher told Paul she would see tomorrow, and Paul told her he would see her. Then Liz wheeled Paul out with Joe's help. On the way home, Paul cuddled up to Liz. He laid his head on her chest and smiled. Liz asked Paul if everything was ok. Paul told her it was ok, but he was tired. Liz stroked his hair, and told him everything would be ok. Paul asked Liz if it would be ok for him to take a nap when he got home. She told him she expected him to since this was his first day back to school. As Liz was telling him this, she looked down and noticed Paul had went to sleep. She held on to him and let him sleep on the way home. As they arrived home, Joe carefully carried Paul in and laid him on the couch. Liz walked in and sat on the couch beside Paul. As she sat there, she looked through Paul's school work to see how much homework he had. Liz noticed the only homework Paul had was math. She knew it wouldn't take him long to finish it, so she let him sleep until she had dinner ready. While Liz stayed with Paul, Joe went out to carry Paul's wheelchair in. When Joe was back inside, Liz went to the kitchen to begin dinner. About an hour later, Liz asked Joe to wake Paul up and bring him out for dinner. Joe unfolded Paul's chair, and woke Paul up slowly. As Paul opened his eyes, he asked Joe if it was ok he had taken a nap. Joe told him it was no problem at all. Joe wheeled Paul out to the kitchen table, and helped him sit up so he could eat. While they were eating, Paul told them he had a long day, and he would need a few days to get back on his feet again. Liz hugged him and told him they would help him any way they could. Paul hugged her back and thanked her. After dinner, Paul sat down with Liz and began doing his math homework. As he worked on his math, Liz asked him how he was feeling. Paul told her he was ok for now, but how he wanted to go to bed when he was done. Liz told him she would give him a nice hot bath before putting him in bed. Paul smiled, and asked her if she would join him. Liz smiled and told him she would love to. Paul hugged her, and continued to work on his math. When Paul finished his homework, Liz ran a nice hot bath for Paul and herself. She then undressed Paul and herself before climbing in the tub with him. As she held Paul close, Liz ran her hands up and down Paul's soft wet body. Paul looked up in Liz's eyes and told her he loved her so much. Liz leaned down and kissed him softly on his lips. Paul leaned back against Liz and ran his hands up and down her legs. Liz then picked Paul up, and turned him so he was facing her. Paul leaned in and began kissing and licking her nipples, while he slid his fingers over her soft pink velvety pussy lips. Liz moaned in pleasure as Paul slowly played with her softly pink velvety pussy lips. Paul then rubbed his thumb over her clit more and more until Liz had a very strong orgasm. When she calmed down, Liz finished their bath, and got Paul ready for bed. The rest of the Paul's week basically went the same. He found himself regaining his strength with every passing day. Paul could feel himself getting stronger and stronger. He found himself being able to stay up later and later. Paul also found himself being able to do homework without sleeping right after. Joe and Liz were also very proud of him. They told him they were so happy for him, and so very proud of him. Joe and Liz also promised him nothing would change for him and Dawn either. Paul smiled and hugged them both. When Friday finally arrived, Paul came home from school to find Dawn waiting for him at the house. She came up, and hugged him softly. Paul kissed her lovingly and told her how much he missed and loved her. She told him she loved and missed him too. Paul and Dawn went into their room, and closed the door behind them. Dawn looked in Paul's eyes, and told him she had some news for him. Paul got a nervous look on his face as he heard Dawn say this. He told Dawn he had a question for her first. Dawn asked him what was wrong. He told her all he wanted to know was how she felt about him returning to school. She smiled at him, and told him she was proud of him for getting back to school so soon. She went on to tell him he went back quicker than she thought he would. Dawn then took Paul by the hand and told him she had some news for him. Paul looked in her eyes, and asked if everything was ok. Dawn told him everything was ok, but she had some news for him. She told him they were unable to make love this weekend. Paul looked in her eyes, and asked what was wrong. Dawn told him she got her period for the first time earlier that morning. Paul didn't need any details. He told her he loved her and would be happy just holding her. Dawn smiled and kissed him lovingly. That weekend seemed to go slower for Dawn and Paul due to being unable to make love. The two lovers spent the weekend cuddling and kissing. Dawn told Paul she loved him, and she loved how they could be happy just cuddling, kissing, and talking. Paul told her he felt the same way. Neither one of them had any regrets that weekend. They were feeling even closer than before. By the time Sunday came around, Dawn wished she didn't have to go home. Also Paul was wishing summer break would hurry up and arrive. As Charles arrived, Dawn hugged Paul goodbye along with Joe and Liz. Charles then carried Dawn's bag out to his truck. Paul watched as they pulled off. Liz then closed the door, and hugged Paul.
