laid him in bed, Liz asked him how he enjoyed the day.  Paul told her he
had a wonderful day and loved spending time with Dawn.  Liz kissed him

    As Paul went back to school, all he could think of was being with

laid on the couch.  Paul wondered what was really wrong with Liz.  He
wheeled in where she was, and her kissed her softly.  Liz looked up and
told him she loved him.  Paul asked Liz what was going on.  Liz smiled
and told him that honestly she was feeling old and unneeded with him
graduating from school this year.  Paul kissed her and told her he was
going into seventh grade.  He told her he would always need her, and he

    The rest of the summer Dawn and Paul spent their days swimming and
taking walks, while at night they would make love two and three times a
night.  Most of the time Paul would find himself initiating their love
making.  Dawn and Paul talked about how they didn't want going into
seventh grade to change anything between them.  Dawn promised Paul no
matter what happened or who she met, Paul would be her one and only.
Paul promised her no matter what happened she would always be his only
love.  They made love multiple times to prove to each other nothing would
change between them.
    The first day of seventh day for Paul turned out to be a long one.
He never knew school could be so tiring.  Paul was unaware moving from
classroom to classroom would take all his strength.  When he came home
Liz asked him how his first day went.  Paul looked at her and told her
how it took so much out of him.  Liz smiled, hugged him, and told him
things would get better.  Paul smiled and promised Liz he would keep up
his good grades so he could continue his weekends with Dawn.  Liz hugged
him and told him her and Joe would never take their weekends together
from them no matter what his grades were.  This meant so much to Paul.
    The rest of the week Paul got used to moving from class to class.
When it came time for the weekend, all Paul wanted to do is collapse in
Dawn's arms.  All he could think of doing was cuddling her and holding
her.  So when he came home and found Dawn waiting for him, he smiled.  As
soon as his wheelchair was off the bus, Dawn ran up and hugged Paul
tight.  She whispered she loved him and missed him deeply.  Paul
whispered he loved her and missed her deeply too.  She then wheeled Paul
in the house, and took his books off the back of his chair.  She then
looked Paul in the eyes, and told him they needed to talk.  Paul looked
in her eyes and could see fear.  He asked her what was wrong.  Dawn told
him she would let him know what was happening when they got in his room.
    Dawn wheeled him in their room, and closed their door.  Dawn wheeled
Paul over so she could sit on his bed and look into his eyes.  She then
held his hands in hers.  Paul was so afraid of what Dawn was going to
tell him.  He swallowed hard and asked her what was going on.  Dawn told
him she should have told him back in July or August, but she just wasn't
sure.  Paul asked her what she was talking about.  Dawn looked him in his
eyes and told him she had missed her July August and September periods.
Paul wasn't stupid at all, he knew what this meant.  He looked at Dawn
and asked her if Charles knew.  Dawn looked at him and told him no way.
Paul smiled and told her that was a good thing.  Dawn told Paul she was
going to go to the doctor by telling Charles she was having bad cramping
when she had her period this month.  Paul smiled, and asked when she was
going.  Dawn told him she had an appointment on Monday after school.
Paul smiled and asked Dawn if she would please let him know what she
found out.  Dawn kissed him slowly and told him she promised she would.
Paul kissed Dawn back and thanked her.
    The rest of the weekend Dawn and Paul spent cuddling in each others
arms.  Paul asked Dawn what they would do if she was pregnant.  Dawn told
him they would figure it out when and if they needed to.  Paul kissed
Dawn and told her if she was pregnant would he would be a proud father
and he would do what he could to help her.  Dawn kissed him and told him
she loved him.  The two lovers never  let on about her possibly being
pregnant.  They just went on like nothing was wrong.  On Sunday evening
when Charles picked Dawn up he reminded Dawn of her appointment after
School the next day.  Dawn thanked Charles, and walked out behind him.
    All day Monday, Paul kept thinking of Dawn and what she would find
out.  He wondered if she was going to turn out to pregnant   Paul kept
looking at the clock waiting for the bell.  He just needed to get home so
he could be there when Dawn called to fill him in with the results.  When
the final bell did ring Paul went straight to the bus.  He couldn't wait
until he got home so he could find out what was going on with Dawn.  The
entire ride home, all Paul could think of was what Dawn must be gong
through.  He also wondered what Charles would say if Dawn was pregnant.
Then he wondered how Joe and Liz would react if Dawn was pregnant.  With
all these things on his mind, Paul developed a headache.
    As Paul arrived home, he couldn't wait until he was in the house.
Liz met him at the bus and wheeled him inside.  She took his book bag off
his chair, and got him out the books he needed to do homework.  Paul
asked Liz for something for his headache.  Liz asked him what gave him
such a headache.  Paul was afraid when she asked about the headache, he
had miss Dawn's phone call.  Liz brought him in some Tylenol and asked
how his day had been.  Paul told her he had a headache because he was
still getting used to moving from class to class.  Liz laughed and told
him he would get used to it.
    While Paul settled in to do his homework, the phone rang.  Paul
swallowed hard, and wondered who it was.  Soon he heard Liz tell whoever
she would bring him the phone.  As Liz walked in she told Paul that Dawn
was on the phone.  Paul took the phone and asked Dawn how things were
going.  Dawn told him she had some good news.  The way she said it, he
knew she wasn't pregnant.  Paul asked what the doctor said.  Dawn told
him they were free to keep try.  Paul thanked her and told her he would
see her this weekend.  Liz looked at him, and smiled.   She then told him
that Dawn and him need to be more careful next time.  Paul promised they
would, he then asked how she knew.  Liz just smiled, and told him it was
because she was a mom.  She then told him he now needed to concentrate on
the rest of his school year.
Authors Note: Part 14 will deal with how Dawn and Paul change their
intimate ways.  We will also see how Joe and Liz plan a very special
anniversary celebration.  How will Dawn and Paul both handle being hit on
in school.  Will this be the last school year Dawn and Paul are a
couple?  Will Dawn and Paul get even closer if that's even possible?
Dawn plans a special Christmas present for Paul.
