Caleb Chapter 47 Once again the radio noise brought them out of their sleep and the two boys kissed each other `good morning' and followed that with a quick dash to the bathroom where they stood in the shower area and held each other's hard cocks while they peed. They followed it with a shower during which they washed each other very well and helped relieve the other's, other tension; shooting their cum onto their lover's stomach and watching it as it dribbled down over the cock they were still teasing. Once both of them had cum, they moved back under the spray, but Caleb pulled Mark close to him so their cum smeared bellies pressed against each other as they kissed. After their kiss ended they drew apart enough to allow the water to wash their torsos and get clean. Continuing to enjoy the intimacy of their closeness they dried each other and then went through to the kitchen to get their cereal for breakfast which they carried through to the lounge and ate while they watched some early morning television. Jerry arrived and asked Caleb if he had any idea what time Sheila and Judy would be getting back. Caleb told Jerry he had not yet been given a specific time and said that Alf or Gail would be collecting them. Jerry looked quite crest-fallen and said, "I had hoped to talk dad into collecting them so that I could see Sheils straight away." "Hang on a bit." Mark said and went over to the phone. He called his dad and they talked for a while. Caleb and Jerry could only hear the one side of the conversation, and knew from what they heard that Mark had explained Jerry's situation to Alf. But after that it had been mainly Alf talking to Mark and they had no idea about what he was saying. When Mark finished with, "Thanks dad, you're the best." They knew it would be something good. "Okay, here's the plan. Mom is going to stay home to get the meal ready. When we know the time the train will get back, we'll let you know what time to be at our house. Then dad will take you two guys with him to the station. You'll pick up Judy and Sheila and bring them back to our house where we'll all have supper together. After that we will do what is decided is best for Judy and Sheila. Dad says, they'll probably be tired and just want to go home to rest. You okay with that Jerry?" Mark announced. "That's really nice, thank you. But what about you? You didn't mention what you'd be doing." Jerry said. "Because we have to fit their bags and Sheila's wheelchair in the car, there won't be enough room for all of us, so I'll stay at home with mum and help her with getting the meal ready. Oh, and you'd best let your folks know you'll be eating with us tomorrow." Mark told him. "Are you saying you're sacrificing your time to be with Caleb for me?" Jerry asked. "We've been together a lot more this week than we would have normally and you deserve the chance to be with Sheila. It's not a sacrifice, it's just being fair. You're my friend and I'm happy to do this for you. Besides, mum will need some help." Mark said. "That's why, even though you're younger than us, you've always been our friend." Jerry said. "Thank you very much, I owe you one." "No you don't. We don't count costs as friends." Mark said. "Please stop, you'll have me crying soon." Caleb said with a huge grin. "No, really you guys are the best and I'm glad to be seen with you at school even though others in my year don't understand it." Jerry said. "I think you have to have true friends to understand it." Mark said. "Actually, I don't think you need to understand it. True friends simply accept that it's right." Caleb said. "Yeah, that's right. Now you two better get dressed so we aren't late for school. You don't want to blot your copybook on the last day." Jerry said. Once again he got hard watching the two boys dress and had to adjust his positioning. Caleb saw this and said, "You do realise that the chances of you getting a chance for any fun with Sheils tomorrow are pretty slim. Are you sure you don't want to pop around this evening and let us sort it out for you? After all, if you spring a boner just seeing us naked, what's your cock going to do when you see Sheils?" "I know that, but I've held off all week for Sheils and am not going to let all that effort go to waste just for one more day. If they were getting back today, I'd still have to wait until tomorrow so now I'll have to wait until Sunday." Jerry said. "You mean you haven't had a wank or anything?" Mark asked. "Yeah. It's been quite hard but I've done it." Jerry said. "I can see how hard it's been." Mark said and patted the front of Jerry's trousers. "Oh! Fuck, no! Don't do that!" Jerry pleaded. "It's a good job we're true friends then or we would be torturing you all the way to school." Caleb said as he opened the front door for them to step out. Graeme joined them as they reached the corner and asked when Sheila was getting back. Caleb said that she would be back sometime on Saturday. "Have they managed to help her?" Graeme asked. "I don't think they will have started any treatment yet. This was just a time to find out exactly what is wrong and see if there is anything they can do." Caleb explained. He was hoping to hear something more positive when they phoned that evening after the other consultant had seen Sheila. His hopes were fulfilled. As usual, the three of them were sitting in the lounge when the phone went and Caleb didn't even look to Gail for permission. He just stood up and went out into the hall to answer the call. As soon as he heard his mother speak, he knew that he was going to hear some good news. Did you get to see the other consultant?" he asked. "Yes we did, but I'll let Sheila tell you." Judy said. "There's nothing definite yet, but this consultant and the one I thought was cross with us at the beginning saw us a little bit after she had finished examining me. They can't make any promises, but they do think there is a good chance that a couple of operations might help to relieve the pressure on my spinal cord and I might be able to get more use out of my arms and hands. That consultant who left the room the first day explained what had happened. He said that as he listened to our story and saw that we were telling the truth he became so angry at what had been done to us that he couldn't think straight and felt he just had to get out and calm down a bit." Sheila told him. The hope was evident in her voice and Caleb caught onto that. "That sounds really promising Sheils. You said a couple of operations. Do they think they can do anything to help your legs?" Caleb asked. "They said there is always a chance, but they don't hold out much hope for my legs. They don't show the same level of sensation as my arms do and they say this lack of connectivity has got them concerned whether any operation will be successful. But they're willing to try." Sheila said. "At least they want to try. Not like the bastards who should have two years ago." Caleb said. "All the people we've seen here who know the situation are so angry about that. I think if they could they would march down to that hospital and string them up." Judy told Caleb. After they had chatted for a bit longer, Caleb asked, "Do you know what time you'll be getting home tomorrow?" "We're not sure yet. We know we'll be catching the train that leaves here at eight thirty, but we've not been able to find out the times for the other trains we have to change to. One of the administrators at the hospital is organising it all for us because we had to extend our stay by a day. She says she will have the answers before we leave tomorrow." Judy said. As Caleb began to relay the news of what the consultants had said to Mark and Gail he was overcome by emotion and couldn't continue. He didn't actually start to cry but had to take in some big gulps of air to calm himself down before he was able to finish. Gail moved over to him and sat down next to him on the couch. "This has been a tough time for your whole family and it is understandable that you'll have such strong feelings about it. What is really nice is that there at last seems to be some hope for Sheila and therefore also for you and your mum." "I'm sorry, I seem to be such a sissy." Caleb said. "Caleb Matthews, I've told you before that you don't need to apologise for being a kind and loving person. That you get emotional shows that you care very deeply for Sheila and your mum and that is something not every parent gets from their child. So you just keep on being you and we'll just keep on loving you." Gail told him. "Caleb, stay here with mum. I just need to get some stuff ready because I'll be staying later at your place tomorrow." Mark said. He got up and left the room. "Do Sheila or your mum have an especially favourite food they like to eat?" Gail asked Caleb as Mark left the room. "Since dad died, we haven't been able to afford a lot of different stuff and I can't really remember from before then. We've mostly had mince and chicken, but mum has been really clever in finding different ways to cook them." Caleb said. Gail was shocked to learn this. She knew that they had not had an easy time, but hadn't realised just how tight it had been. "So when did you last have a roast meal?" she asked, being careful not to let her shock show in her voice or expression. "I don't know. I have never cooked one and don't know how to either." Caleb admitted. "Right that decides what I'll be cooking for dinner tomorrow. Now tell me, is Mark looking after you okay? I mean he's not ordering you around and making you do whatever he wants all the time is he?" Gail asked. "Yes and no. Yes he is looking after me very well. No, he's not bossing me around. He always makes sure I'm happy with what we do and often asks me to make the decision for both of us. Don't worry; you've got a good son you can be very proud of. I am." Caleb assured Gail. "Thank you, that's very kind of you to say that. We are very proud of Mark and love him very much." Gail said and pulled Caleb into a hug. "Hey! What's this trying to get off with my boyfriend?" Mark asked from the doorway. "Well, if he was a bit older and into girls more than boys, you might have cause to worry, but I don't think I have a chance in hell of stealing him away from you." Gail replied and the two laughed. "But you can keep trying." Caleb said and winked at Gail. "Just wait till I tell Alf all this. He might just run you over when he drops you off tonight." Gail said. "Don't you have things to do in the kitchen mum?" Mark asked. "Are you trying to get me out of the way? Does that mean you're scared I might just be successful?" Gail teased. "How soon will dad be getting home?" Mark asked. "Okay, no more teasing, and I really do need to get into the kitchen to get the tea ready." Gail said and stood up. Once she had left the room, Mark sat down next to Caleb and asked in a whisper, "Mum didn't embarrass you did she?" "No. I kind of liked that bit of playing around. It's nice when your parents are also friends." Caleb said. "Yeah. When you hear what some of the others at school say and how scared they are of their parents you just feel glad your parents aren't like theirs." Mark agreed. "Or like Natasha's dad." Caleb added. "My dad was bad enough but he wasn't like Natasha's." Alf arrived home and spent some time in the kitchen with Gail before joining the two boys in the lounge. "So Mark thinks that I've got some competition then?" he asked Caleb. "What can I say? When you've got it, you've got it." Caleb answered and then blushed. Alf burst out laughing. "I like it." "He's so good at coming out with a quick reply." Mark said. "Nothing wrong with that." Alf said. The banter continued through dinner and the cleaning up afterwards. Then it was time for Alf to run the two teens to Caleb's house one more time. As he dropped them off at Caleb's home, he told them, "I imagine that with no school tomorrow you're planning on staying up later than you have during the week. So, unless there is an urgent reason, we'll not phone you until lunchtime. If your mum and sister are not leaving the hospital until half eight or so, they will not get back here until sometime in the evening. So, you'll have most of the day to sort out the mess you've made and get things in order." "Thanks dad, but there really is no mess to sort out because we've cleaned up after ourselves all the way. We'll just have to make up the beds and that sort of thing really." Mark said. "That's good to hear. I'm glad you two have behaved as responsibly as you have. It's clear you've made sure you got enough sleep and also got to school on time so your mum and I are very pleased and proud of both of you." Alf told them. Mark and Caleb walked to the front door with heads held high. They were really pleased that Mark's parents had been able to see that they had behaved responsibly. But now they were aiming for some extra fun.
