City Of Dreams

you think of the story, but please keep it constructive.  I have a fragile

As his voice faded away with music absolute silence filled the club.
Bailey looked deep into my eyes.  Tears were still streaming down my face.
They were definitely tears of joy.

"Miah..."

"Shut up...just shut up."  My voice caught for a moment as I interrupted
him.  If he could make reference to our first night together then so could
I.  "You had me at hello...you had me at hello."

His face lit up in the smile that I've always loved and his lips came
crashing down on mine.  I was so swept up in that kiss I never even heard
the crowds' cheer for us or the music start up again.  Bailey and I were
fine.  Shit we were better than fine.  We were still in love.


Chapter Seven

It was later in the evening and we were all back at the apartment, and we
were all sitting in our normal positions.  Gina was laid back on one of the
couches and B and I were on the other one.  I was sitting up in the corner
of the couch with Bailey in between my legs.  Our arms were wrapped around
each other, and he had his back pressed against my chest.  He would
occasionally turn his head and nuzzle his face in my neck.  He was doing
that now.  It was the sweetest thing.  Gina's eyes met mine and she had a
huge smile on her face.

"I am so glad that you two quit being such bitches and decided to kiss and
make up."

We all laughed at her classic choice of words.

"I still can't believe that you did that for me Bailey," I said as he
looked up at me.  "That was the most romantic thing anyone has ever done
for me, and if I hadn't already fell in love with you I would have right
then."

Bailey eased himself up a bit and gave me a gentle kiss on the lips.

"It was my way of showing you that I was sorry.  I had to show you how much
you meant to me."

"I'm sorry too B.  We will fight again, lets just make sure we talk it out
better than we did this time, ok?"

I leaned down and kissed him on his forehead.

"Now I just have to think of a way to make it up to you." I said with a
grin on my face.

"Hmmm.  I could think of a few ways you could do that Mr. Summers."  Bailey
said as he nuzzled his face against me again.

"Oh goody!  Finally some of the hot guy on guy action I've been promised!"
Gina said with a girlish giggle.

The bitch even clapped her hands and made herself more comfortable.

"Gina..."I growled with a smile on my face.

She held up her hand to stop me.

"While the two of you are performing for me you shall refer to me as
Mistress Gina. Remember your better half there promised me I could watch
that day he had you pinned to the couch.  So please continue!"

I could see the twinkle in Gina's eyes and knew she where she was going
with this.  It was time to have some fun with Bailey!  It had become this
twisted type of game the three of us had gotten into playing.  Two of us
would always try and pull a prank on the third one.  So far the only person
who ever fell for any of the jokes was poor Bailey.  Gina and I were just
too good.

"You get five minutes Gina and that is it! And if you ever tell anyone
about this then I will tell all of your dirty secrets to everyone at the
club!"  I said in mock frustration as my hands reached down and started to
pull B's shirt out of his pants.

I felt his whole body tense and his shocked face turned up at me.

"Miah what the fuck are you doing?" He hissed in a whisper while he tried
to pull his shirt down.

I leaned over and gently nibbled on his earlobe.

"Relax baby.  You did promise."  I said as I ran my hands up under his
shirt and my fingers grazed over his nipples.

His body shuddered, and you could tell he was fighting a losing battle.  I
moved my mouth down and started to gently suck on his neck.  He let out a
small groan and his eyes closed.  As soon as this happened Gina quietly
stood up and winked at me.  She carefully crossed the living room and made
her way down the hall without making a single sound.  As soon as she was
out of sight I slid my hands down his body and cupped his crotch through
his tight jeans.  His body snapped up quickly.  He obviously remembered
where we were.  He looked over to the other couch and saw that it was
empty.  He turned to look at me with a pout on his face.

"I'm never gonna win this game am I?"

"Probably not B." I said with a wicked grin.

"I know a game that I can win though Miah."

"And what would that game be Bail?"

"Bury the bone."

We both laughed.  He stood up and offered me his hand.  Once I was on my
feet he bent and picked me straight up off the ground and cradled me
against his chest.

"Mmmm.  Don't I have a big strong man?"  I murmured against his neck.

I felt his arms tighten around me and he headed off towards our bedroom.
It was turning out to be a wonderful evening!

The next morning we were all enjoying some hot, fresh cinnamon rolls that
Gina had just picked up that morning.

"I would hope that you didn't have any problems on the food run this time
Gina."  I said with a laugh.

Gina nearly choked on the piece of roll she had in her mouth.  She was
laughing pretty hard.  Bailey just looked between the two of us with
confusion written all over his face.  So I had to fill him in on the meter
maid situation.

"There was no problems Miah, but he was there again."  Gina said with a
giggle.  "I walked out of the bakery and was headed toward the car when I
saw him.  He was writing a ticket out for the car in front of me.  You
should have seen the look on his face!  It was like I was Linda Blair in
The Exorcist all of a sudden."

We all cracked up this time.

"That poor man is probably paying big bucks for the therapy he has to go
now."  Bailey said with a grin.  "I'm in therapy because of you and you've
never even hit me."

"Not yet."  Gina added with a wink as she got some juice out of the fridge.
"I'm not scared of you!  Besides, my big strong man will protect me."
Bailey said as he leaned over to rest his head on my shoulder.

"Protect yourself buddy.  Gina has been a slugger ever since she dated that
prize fighter last year."

And right on cue Gina started shadow boxing in front of the fridge.

"OHH! I almost forgot to tell you guys.  I've got some great news!!"

With Gina this could be practically anything.  The girl got excited about
everything.

"You finally raised enough money to have that 'operation' in Denmark?
Should we start calling you George now?"  Bailey said with a laugh.

Gina slapped him in the back of his head on the way back to her seat.

"OUCH!"

I gave Bailey a sympathetic look.

"I warned you, but you never listen to me.  You always have to find out
things on your own.  Remember this moment in the future when I warn you
about something."  I said to him in a fatherly tone.

"Yes dad."  Bailey said with a fake pout while he was rubbing the back of
his head.

"Ok George.  What's the news?"  I said with a grin.

I ducked as a cinnamon roll went whizzing over my head.  Did I mention she
used to date a pro-baseball player too?

"My cousin is coming to visit for a few weeks.  She'll be getting in
tomorrow.  She is going to be auditioning for some of the new shows that
are opening this season."

I couldn't help but cringe.  Some of Gina's family are really, really
weird.

"Miah don't look so scared.  You like this cousin.  It's Sara."  My face
instantly lit up.  Sara has to be Gina's best relative besides her gram.
She is awesome.  Sara has that loveable girl-next-door thing going for her.
We were going to have a blast!  She stayed with us last summer and worked
at the club with us.  We had so much fun.  I was really looking forward to
seeing her again.

"That is awesome G!  What time will she be getting here tomorrow?"

"She will get in around 11 a.m. or so.  And she is pretty excited to meet
Bailey.  I don't know why though.  There really isn't much to see."

Bailey made a face at her and then started doing all these different
bodybuilding poses with his upper body.  I sat back and watched him.  At
first I was giggling, but as he continued to go from pose to pose I
couldn't help but start to get aroused.  He wasn't wearing a shirt that
morning and watching the muscles in his chest flex and pump had me
mesmerized.  I rubbed my tongue over my lips to moisten them.  Wow.  Is it
getting hot in here?

"Bailey you better stop that before Miah's brain turns to Jell-O.  He's
getting that glazed look in his eyes.  I don't want to have to hose him
down."

Bailey stopped and looked over at me with that million-watt smile on his
face.

"And don't even ask him if he likes it B.  You fucking know he does."  Gina
added with a smirk on her face.

I cracked up.  Bailey was a little attention hound.  Every time he did
something cute he would always ask me if I liked it.  And he always had
that cute ass smile on his face.  I just wanted to eat him up!!  I was
already leaning back in my chair, so I gently raised one of my legs off the
floor and rubbed my foot up Bailey's leg.  His eyes immediately locked with
mine.  I winked at him and smiled.  I lit up a smoke and turned my
attention back to Gina.

"Does Sara know what show she wants to audition for yet?"  I asked her as I
slowly eased my foot farther up Bailey's leg towards his crotch.

"She mentioned that she wanted to do a musical.  She really does have a
gorgeous voice."  Her face lit up with a smile.  "Hey B!  You and Sara will
HAVE to do a duet at Sing!.  The two of you would blend together
perfectly!"

Just as Gina started to talk to Bailey I gently rubbed my foot back and
forth across his cock.  He jumped in surprise, but luckily for him the
phone rang.  Gina popped out of her seat to grab the cordless from the
living room.  As I heard Gina talking on the phone Bailey stood up and
leaned over to kiss me.

"I will get you back for that Jeremiah."  He said with one of those sexy,
wolfish grins.

"I was hoping for that B."

He moved over and sat himself down right in my lap.  I wrapped my arms
around him and laid my head on his chest.  I loved to cuddle and I was
happy that Bailey was the same way.  In fact I think he liked to cuddle
more than I do.  And that's saying something!  There is nothing better than
feeling the person that love you all snuggled up against you.

"So what did you want to do today B?"

I could feel him grind his ass into my lap.

"Why don't we just wait and see what comes up?"

There was that devilish smile on his face.

"You realize that you are probably going to put me into the hospital for
exhaustion right?"

"Are you complaining Miah?"

"Fuck no baby!" I said with a laugh.  "I just wanted to prepare you in case
you need to get me to an emergency room."

"I could be your doctor Miah," There was a wicked twinkle in his eye.  "In
fact that could be a lot of fun.  You are due for a prostate examination if
I read your chart properly."

I tightened my arms around him and leaned in for a kiss.  The man was just
too cute for words!

Bailey and I were cuddled up on the couch watching the beginning of The
Caroline Rhea show the next morning.  She is just too damn funny!  I miss
Rosie, but Caroline was the best replacement.  She is one of the funniest
women I've seen.  The best though has to be Margaret Cho.  Now that is one
funny lady!  Just as Caroline sat down with her first guest the front door
opened.  Bailey and I jumped up off the couch, and I headed towards the
entryway.  Gina came in first and Sara followed behind her.  Sara was just
as gorgeous as I remembered.  She was tall, just a few inches shorter than
I was, with shoulder length blonde hair, which was normally had a natural
wave to it.  It was straight as an arrow now, and it looked great.  Even
though I was gay, I could tell she was a knockout.  She ran up to me and we
threw our arms around each other.

"MIAH!"

"SARA!"

It was like seeing two people reunited on one of the many daytime talk
shows that are around today.

"Hun you are looking good!"

She turned around and posed a bit with laughter lighting up her face.

"You are still as HOT as ever.  Are you sure you don't want to experience
what a real woman can do?"

"Uh Sara, Miah's been living with me for a few years now.  Trust me, he
doesn't want any, and if he did I could have given it to him."  Gina said
with a giggle.

Sara looked back and forth between us.

"Like I said Miah, if you ever want a REAL woman, you just give me a
holler."

We all cracked up at Gina's expense.  Gina shot Sara the finger and then
gave her a hug.  Bailey was still standing back by the couch with his hands
in his pockets.  He looked so nervous.  Bailey is usually a really outgoing
guy, but he knew that Sara was an important person and wanted to impress
her.  I told him to just smile at her and everything would be fine.  That
boy's smile could stop a tornado in its tracks. That smile was so damn
powerful.  To see him like this I just wanted to scoop him up in my arms
and fuck him senseless.  B turns me on to no end, but when he's being
especially cute, like right now, my whole body lights up on fire.

"Then again," Sara started as she looked over my shoulder at Bailey. "If I
had a man like that to keep me warm at night I wouldn't want anything else
either."

Bailey actually blushed when she said that.  Did I mention I wanted him
right now?  After that blush I was ready to strip him down and ravage him
right on the living room floor whether the girls were here or not.
Bailey's eyes met mine and he must have known what I was thinking.  The
blush deepened on his face.

Sara walked up and introduced herself and gave B a huge hug.

"Miah If I was you I would be throwing this boy on the floor right now and
ravaging him like nobody's business!  And I wouldn't even care who was here
to see it!"  Sara said after she hugged Bailey.

I swear sometimes that girl and I were separated at birth!

"That's just what he was thinking."  Bailey and I said at the same time in
unison.

"JINX!  Y'all owe me a beer now!"  Sara said with a laugh.  "I know you
work at a bar so you'll actually have to get me that beer at a different
club.  No freebies!"

We all plopped down on the couches, the girls on one and the guys on the
other.  I instinctively leaned back and got comfortable against Bailey.  He
tensed up for a second, but then relaxed once he saw the huge grin Sara had
on her face as she caught us out of the corner of her eye while she was
talking to Gina.

"Are you ok baby?  I'm sorry, I didn't even think about company when we sat
down.  It was just instinct.  I just..." I whispered to him.

"Shhh Miah.  It's ok honey." Bailey whispered back interrupting.  "I love
the fact that you instinctively need to feel my body.  Besides, I only
tensed up because I had to stop myself for attacking you.  I love feeling
you against me."

I giggled as he kissed my neck, and both girls looked our way.  "You two
are just too damn cute."  Sara said with a grin. "How long have you two
been together now?"

"It will be six months tomorrow."  I replied.

I didn't see Bailey and Gina's eyes lock because I was talking to Sara.
Some unspoken communication went on between them.

"Is that all?  I figured it was longer than that."

"Why is that Sara?"

"Because the only time I heard couples talking at the same time like that
were people who were together for years.  I think it's wonderful that y'all
are already that close.  I can definitely see the love between you two."
She said with a wink.

"Well we've only been together for 6 months," Bailey said to her. "But
we've been best friends since kindergarten.  It was just a matter of time
before Miah realized how much he really wanted me."

I punched him in the leg.

"If you wanted me so badly then why didn't you say something?"  I growled
at him.

"OUCH!  Jesus Miah, you hit like Gina does."  Bailey said with a fake
grimace.

"I taught him everything I know!"  Gina said with a laugh.

"Well that's not much."  Bailey, Sara, and I all said it at the same time.

We were laughing so hard that tears were coming down our faces.  Gina sat
there and tried to look mad, but it didn't work.  She was laughing right
along with us.

"Back to you two hotties," Sara said with a wicked grin. "I want to hear
all about how Miah and Bailey got together."

Bailey and I both told her the story.  We took turns interrupting each
other and throwing in jokes here and there.  Bailey was the one that ended
up finishing the story and told her about the scene on the rooftop.  You
could see that Sara had tears in her eyes.

"That is so fucking awesome!  It's like a scene from a movie or something.
Bailey do you realize how lucky you are to have him?"

"I remind it about it everyday Sara."  I said with a laugh before Bailey
could answer.

I felt Bailey's head move down next to my ear.

"I love you Miah."  He whispered as his arms tightened around me.

I turned my head to face him and gave him a gentle kiss.

"I love you too B."

While Bailey had me distracted Gina nudged Sara and tapped her watch.  Sara
nodded her head.

"Hey Miah.  You and I need to go down to that little restaurant around the
corner and grab a bite to eat.  I am famished.  The food on the plane
sucked.  Leave your man here because you need to fill me in on all the
juicy details."

I laughed and looked up at Bailey.

"Go ahead Miah.  I'll stay here and keep Gina busy.  It will be my good
deed for the city today."

I moved in just enough time before the pillow Gina threw hit Bailey square
in the chest.

"Let's get out of here Sara before world war three breaks out."

I leaned down and gave Bailey a quick, passionate kiss.

"Play nice with the other kids."

"Yes dad." Bailey said with a laugh.

Sara and I headed out the door for lunch.

Bailey's Point Of View

After Miah and Sara walked out I turned towards Gina.

"You are just too damn good."

I couldn't believe how easy this was going.

"Are you sure that Sara won't spill the beans to Miah?"

"Trust me B.  I gave her the run down on all the details and she was happy
to play along.  If she didn't there was no way I would have been able to
help you get things ready.  This was the only day we had to actually get
everything you needed.  Your anniversary is tomorrow.  I don't know why we
waited until the last minute though."

I ran my hands through my hair.  There were just so many things that could
go wrong with this plan.  Everything had to work out perfectly.  I never
knew how important someone could become in my life until Miah and I had
that fight.  I know that those few years were really bad for us and we
hadn't talked or hung out, but back then we were still only best friends.
I never thought we could be anything more than that, but now I had given
Miah my heart.  When we had that fight and didn't talk for a few days it
fucking killed me.  We both said some shit we didn't mean and it did hurt,
but what I will remember most is not having that contact with him when we
weren't really speaking.

I got used to having him near me so much that when he wasn't there I felt
so damn lost.  I knew I had to find a way to show him how sorry I was.  I
had spoken to Gina one night when Miah went to bed early and she helped me
plan the scene at the club.  I know that I didn't have to do it in front of
all those people, but after thinking about it I realized I wanted to.  I
wanted everyone to know that Miah was mine.  That I was lucky enough to
have him choose me to spend his life with.  Everything about that man was
special.  I've gotten lost in those crystal blue eyes of his more times
than I can count.  And that boy can kiss!  There have been times I wanted
to pass out from the pleasure he could give just from kissing me.  And that
boy knows how to make love!  Oh. My. God.  I didn't even realize that sex
could be that wonderful.  He works my body over the same way a musician
expertly plays an instrument.

Miah and I have talked about our upcoming anniversary, but that's been
about the extent of it.  We discussed how happy we are that we are
together, but never really talked about celebrating the day.  So I took
matters into my own hands and came up with a few ideas.  I was able to talk
to Gina about it and get her to help me with my plan.  She loved the idea.
That girl is definitely a romantic at heart.  Luckily she was able to get
Sara in on it as well.  It gave us the opportunity to get the running
around down.  God I hope this turns out the way I want it to!  It could be
such a special night or the biggest disaster since the Titanic.

"Ok B, let's bail."  Gina said with a giggle. "Pun intended."

"You are a nut!  You're right though.  We need to get our asses in gear and
get this shit done."

We grabbed our shit and headed out the door.  Please don't let them get
back before we do.  If we can get this first part done without any trouble,
hopefully the rest will be smooth sailing.

Sara and I had a wonderful lunch.  She and I were both laughing our asses
off as we made our way into the apartment a few hours later.  Gina and
Bailey were watching Margaret Cho's stand up movie The Notorious CHO, and
they had tears running down their faces.  I told you.  She is one of the
funniest fucking people.  I walked up behind Bailey and kissed the top of
his head.

"Here ya go studly."  I said as I placed a styrofoam container in his lap.

"What's this baby?" He looked up at me curiously.

"It's a piece of that Kahlua ice cream cake that I know you love."

He grinned up at me.

"And before you ask me for one," I said with a smile. "I had them put a
fork in there already for you."

"You are way too good to me Miah." He winked at me. "I love you. You are
going to totally spoil me ya know!"

"Hey what about me?" Gina asked with a pout on her face.

I leaned over and glanced at her neck.

"Based on your expiration date I would have to say you are already
spoiled."

Everyone groaned.

"Hey people.  They all can't be funny ok?"  I said with a laugh.

"Here you go Gina."  Sara said as she placed a container in Gina's lap.
"How could I forget my favorite cousin?"

"Thank you Sara. I knew there was a reason why you were my favorite."

I headed towards the kitchen to get something to drink.  I didn't see the
look that Bailey gave Gina.  She smiled and nodded.

"Hey Miah..." Gina yelled into the kitchen.

"What G?"

"Remember last time Sara was here and helped out at the club?"  She went on
once she saw me nod my head.  "Well we aren't short staffed now and she
wanted to pick up some extra money.  Could you please, please, please let
her take your shift tomorrow night?  You know how busy Saturdays are
and..."

Bailey shot her a discrete look trying to stop her from rambling, but I
interrupted her.

"That is fine Gina.  I haven't had a Saturday night off in forever.  Why is
it though that every time you ask me for a favor I get a 10 page
monologue?" I added with a laugh.

"I just like to cover all my bases beforehand so you would have less
questions about it, that's all."  She stuck her tongue out at me.

"Thanks Miah.  I really appreciate it."  Sara said as she came up and gave
me a hug.

"So stud," I said as I sat down on the couch next to Bailey.  "Looks like
it's just you and me tomorrow night.  Did you have any plans?"

Bailey grinned up at me.

"I am sure I can fit you in baby."

Bailey and I were working on getting dinner ready the next day when the
girls were leaving for the club.

"Have fun tonight ladies!"  I said with a wave.  "Sara, don't let Gina work
you to hard!"

Sara laughed.

"Don't worry I won't.  Play nice boys!"

And with that the girls headed out the door to have their night of fun.  I
turned around and saw Bailey glancing between the oven and the clock on the
wall.

"Honey," I said as I wrapped my arms around him.  "The lasagna is going to
be perfect.  Don't worry."

I gently kissed the back of his neck.  I felt his body melt against mine.

"I know Miah.  I just want everything to be perfect.  It is our
anniversary."

Oh boy did I know!  We spent a few hours in bed this morning and we took
turns sharing our love for each other.  Just thinking about it was making
me hard as a fucking rock.  I felt Bailey push back against me and wiggle
his ass.

"You thinking about this morning baby?"  He said with a grin.

"Of course!"

I started to rub his chest, but he stepped away from me.

"Now, now, now.  We can have none of that.  I am not going to let this food
burn just because you are trying to molest me!"

I laughed.  I didn't want dinner to burn either.  This man was a fabulous
cook!  Bailey eased around me and opened up the fridge.

"FUCK!"

"What's wrong B?" I spun around to see what the problem was.

"I forgot to pick up some Parmesan cheese for dinner tonight. Fuck Fuck
Fuuuuck."

I wrapped my arms around him again.

"Don't worry honey.  I will run down to the corner store and pick some up.
It'll just take a few minutes."

"Are you sure you don't mind baby?"

"Of course not B.  I'll just take a minute."

I squeezed him hard and gave him a quick kiss.

"How did I end up so lucky to get a man like you Miah?"

I grinned at him.

"I ask myself that same question about you everyday B."

I grabbed my wallet and headed towards the door.

"Be right back.  I love you."

"I love you too Baby."

As I walked out the door I didn't hear Bailey mutter 'so far so good'.

A few minutes my ass!!!  I was fucking pissed.  What should have only been
a five-minute trip ended up taking me nearly forty minutes.  Why is that
every time you are in a rush there is no fucking express line open and it
seems like the cashier just learned to count that morning?

I hoped Bailey wasn't pissed, but I just couldn't help it.  I rushed back
to the apartment and I could smell the wonderful food he had prepared as I
walked in.

"Honey I'm home!"

There was no answer.  I looked in the kitchen and he wasn't there.

"Bailey?"

I walked into our bedroom, and there was no sign of him there either.  What
I found though did surprise me.  One of my suits was laid out on the bed
and there was an envelope on top of it.  I walked over and picked it up.
Across the front was written 'change clothes and then open me'.  What is
that boy up too?  I have to admit though that I love surprises.  So I
quickly changed out of my clothes and got the suit on.  I opened the
envelope.

'Grab the cheese and meet me on the roof.  Love, B.'

Meet him on the roof?  Things are getting weirder by the minute.  I
shrugged my shoulders and walked back out into the living room.  I grabbed
the container off of the counter where I left it and headed out into the
hallway.  I walked down towards the door that was marked 'roof access'.  I
headed up the stairs and opened the door to the roof.  I stopped dead in my
tracks.  The sight before me left me breathless.

There were white Christmas lights strung up all over the roof.  It made it
look like the stars had come down out of the sky.  Bailey was standing by a
table that was setup and was just lighting candles as I walked out onto the
roof.  He was devastating in his own suit.  There was music playing softly
in the background.  Everything was so beautiful I could feel the tears well
up in my eyes.

"Hey you."  Bailey walked up and wrapped his arms around me in a tight,
wonderful hug.  "Happy Anniversary Miah.  I love you."

"Bailey..." The words caught in my throat. "Everything is so wonderful.
You are amazing.  I love you too baby."

He stepped back and went towards the table.  He pulled out one of the
chairs.

"Your table sir."

I grinned as I walked over and took my seat.  I set the cheese down on the
table next to all the wonderful food that was prepared.  It was like a
dream.  We sat and ate an excellent meal.  Bailey can cook his ass off!  He
had even gotten a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate with.  This had
to be the most romantic moment ever!

"Bailey this night has been perfect." I said as he stood up and kissed me.
"You are so beautiful.  I love you.  Nothing could make this moment any
better."

"Well there is one thing Miah."  He said to me with a grin on his face.

I looked up at him.

"Dance with me?"  He held his hand out to me.

I smiled and took it.  He pulled up and gave me a hot, passionate kiss.  He
reached over and pressed a button on the radio that was sitting on a small
table next to ours.  He took me gently in his arms and pressed himself
against me.  As we swayed together I could hear the song echoing in my
ears.

I couldn't help the tears that started to roll down my face.  This had to
be the happiest moment of my life.  I leaned up and kissed Bailey trying to
convey to him everything that I was feeling.  I felt his love pour into my
body and it truly filled my heart and soul.

A moment like this

No matter what happens in my life I know that I will cherish this moment
for all time.  All of my dreams had finally come true and it was all
because of this wonderful man that I held in my arms.  Nothing could ruin
this moment.  The minute I thought that I heard a rumble in the distance.
Oh no fucking way.  Just as I pulled back to look at Bailey I could feel
the raindrops as they started to fall down on us.

"I must have a bad effect on this roof top B.  It always seems to rain when
I'm up here."  I said with a laugh.  "Come on let's get inside."

I turned and started to pull him towards the door but he stopped me.  I
turned to say something to him, but the words didn't come out.  I could see
the tears welling up in his eyes.  Why did the fucking rain have to ruin
this moment? I know he worked so hard for this.

"Baby don't cry.  It's ok."  I hugged him hard against me.

"Miah..."

I pulled back and looked at him.  I could see the tears now running down
his face.

"There is something I have to tell you."

"Baby what's..."

The words caught in my throat.  Bailey took my hand and gracefully went
down on one knee in front of me.  Oh my God.

"Jeremiah..." He cleared his throat and smiled up at me.  "You have given
me the greatest gift anyone could have ever given me.  You gave me your
love.  You have become the single most important thing in my life.  Every
breath that I take and every beat of my heart is for you, and you alone.  I
never thought I could share the love I have for you.  I used to constantly
dream about lying in your arms and feeling your lips against me.  You've
taken every dream I've ever had and made them real.  You not only made my
dreams come true, you've surpassed anything I could have ever wished for."
He paused and took a small velvet box out of his pocket and opened it.  "As
far back as I can remember you have always been in my life, and now I am
asking you to be a part my life forever.  I love you with everything I have
Miah.  Jeremiah Summers, will you marry me?"

Tears were pouring down my face.  He talks about me making his dreams
become reality?  This moment, this exact moment is something I've wished
for to happen.  I wanted this man more than anything in the world, and now
he was offering himself to me.  Not just for today, but for forever.  I
couldn't even find the words to say to him.

"Oh Bailey...yes!"

In that instant he jumped up and picked me up in his arms showering my face
with kisses.

"I LOVE THIS MAN!" He shouted.

I hugged him hard against my body and kissed him full on the lips.  I am
the luckiest person on the face of the planet!  He pulled back a bit and
that million-watt smile was there on his face.

"You just made me the happiest man on the planet Miah."

"You would be the second happiest person B.  I got dibs on first."

"I love you Jeremiah Summers."

"And I love you Bailey Masters."

The rain continued to pour down on us, but we didn't even notice it
anymore.  The man I loved just asked me to marry him and I said yes.  What
is more important than that?  Nothing.
