Shortly after cleaning up and dressing for the day, the tailor was knocking on Phinneas' door. He had brought the young buccaneer's work clothes and underwear. The men had no sooner dressed and now they had to undress to make sure the clothes fit. Both young men pulled up their underwear which fit each well and looked good on them. Megmefin pulled on his pantaloons and felt the tightness across his ass. The tailor followed the instructions well. Megmefin turned his back to the mirror. The pants were tight on his ass and made it a predominant feature. He pulled the shirt over his tight torso and it looked very good. The cut was right on his shoulders and his furry chest was exposed in the notch cut at the neck of the shirt. He could move well and look good at the same time. Eirvarph for his part looked dashing. His jet black hair was set off by the crisp white linen. The cut in his pants was tight just like it was ordered and it showed his package in a beautiful masculine way. Eirvarph felt a little self-conscious about how tight it was and looked to Phinneas. Phinneas turned his mate around and inspected him carefully. "Aye, Kleermaker, ye do some fine fine work," Phinneas winked at the tailor. Megmefin looked at his mate's package and was feeling a stirring in between his legs again. He knew Eirvarph was big, but with these pantaloons, there was no denying it now, and it made his mate look like the man he knew he was. "Ah, mate, ye don't need to be worryin' yerself about that," Megmefin said, "won't be hurtin' ye any, and I, meself, like it." "And, mate, I do like what the tailor did your britches," Eirvarph said to his mate, stopping short of rubbing Megmefin's ass. The two young men realized that they were breaking away slowly from their hidden secrets, and at least in safety, acknowledging their homosexuality. The tailor gave the young men a bill to sign and went back to his shop to finish their town clothes. The shoemaker came next and made sure their shoes were fit right. After the shoemaker left, Phinneas ordered breakfast and sat the men down at the table. "Listen 'ere, you two scallywags, I... er.. lost me senses this morning," he began. The two young pirates hung their heads. They had enjoyed the morning sex and their new partner and now he was telling them that he had regrets. "I don' mean like that," Phinneas continued trying to pull back what he said, "I mean, I took advantage of ye both. Megmefin, you belong to Eirvarph and I took you this morning, an' that just wasn't right. And Eirvarph, Megmefin is yer mate, don' ever let another man come between that. Me cock was doin' the thinkin' this mornin', not me head." The two sat in silence thinking about what Phinneas had just said. "I'm not sayin' I didn' enjoy it. I'm sayin' ye both need to think about what ye want from each other a'fore ye bring someone else into yer bed. There'll be plenty o' men aboard that would take from both of ye and not think nary a thing 'bout it. I'm only sayin' that don' give in jus' cause another man wants sex, trust me, there is plenty of other men aboard for them to find that. Ye have somethin' special that ye don't want to be wastin' on every cock that comes a'knockin'." Eirvarph spoke up first, "Ye been good to us, Phinneas. Ye helped us when no one else seemed to pay attention. Ye taught us more in one day than any of the scurvy mates aboard could even think about. I, for one, trust ye. Yes, I love this scoundrel, but ye are a good mate and good friend. It would be an honor to have ye join us in our bed when ye see fit." Megmefin looked at his mate, and for the first time heard that he loved him. Megmefin had developed his feelings for Eirvarph early in their relationship, but to hear his mate admit it brought a lump to his throat. "I agree with Eirvarph," Megmefin managed to choke out. "I wouldn't be givin' me ass to jus' anyone, but I gave it to ye because I trust ye an' anytime ye see fit to come to us, it would be a fealty." Phinneas turned his head away for a moment. The two young men were so earnest yet so naïve, he didn't want them to see him break a smile. When he turned back, he looked at both of them for a moment. Then he spoke. "Ye two are good mates, I can see that in yer faces. I can hear it in yer words. I think I understand what ye are sayin' and I will treat it with the respect ye have accorded me. There will be a few men aboard that will want ye jus' because ye have each other, avoid them. There will be some men ye will have to accept that ye will be part of their circle and affections. Anyone below a senior officer can fuck each other. Don' be denyin' officers, they are the key to yer future and success, besides they won't be callin' that often since they already have a mate or two anyhow. "Not all of the officers are masculine or particularly virile. Those, ye should be their top, it is the least humiliating. The rest, if ye find yerself inclined, can throw ye a good 'n quick fuckin' and be on their way. Don't ever get into any type of relationship with any o' them, no matter what they promise. There is nary a one who has lived up to what they have promised the new men on ship. Ye need to think of one thing and one thing only even if ye don't want to participate, and that is yer future, separately and together. "I, for one, will join ye in yer bed with no promises of anything other than enduring friendship." Megmefin and Eirvarph sat with their mouths open, stunned at what they were hearing. "The Captain. . . .?" Eirvarph broke the silence. "The Captain can have any man on board. But I can tell he fancies men like yerselves. He has no attachments to anyone, he can't, he's the Captain. Word has it he has a wife in France, but he hasn' been off the Howl of the Corsair in ten years." "What were ye about to tell us about the women?" Megmefin asked. "Oh, yes," Phinneas began.
