Asa had tried to take the check, but Adam insisted on paying. This was one more star on Asa's approval of this unusual young man; that he once called a phony. They left the restaurant a little tipsy and feeling comfortable with one another. Andrew had only one glass of wine and was in complete control for driving. Asa sat in the back seat and the boys did everything possible to make him comfortable. "A prince I feel like riding in this fancy-smancy car" said Asa – No, make that a king; he added laughing. "Or a queen," blurted out Adam, laughing along with him. "Why not," replied Asa – "it's all royal nonsense, but what do you know about royalty," he said They arrived back on Flatbush shortly after 9:00 pm They were going across the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan. It was still early but would arrive there around 10:00 pm. They asked Asa to go with them, but he had enough surprises for one evening and declined. "Where are you going?" Asa asked "We were going to a gay club in the village, but Andrew changed his mind and now wants to go home. His parents are away for two days, and we can sleep together. We do not get that chance very often. Someday when we find our own place, things will be better." "Come into the house, I want to show you something," said Asa "Oh, not now grandpa, we can play around some other time." Said Adam "We are not playing – I am showing; park this thing over there, and come with me, said Asa. "This is not a `thing', it's my dad's Mercedes;" said Andrew, pulling into a parking spot. "Okay, it is nice; please come with me." "Don't get upset Adam said to Andrew; this is the way he speaks, so accept him. I know he's difficult, but he's a gem once you get to know him." "I'm not upset, I should have kept quiet. I never heard of a Mercedes being called `a thing' – but I'm learning," replied Andrew. They went into the building and stepped into the elevator. Adam started to press the up button, when Asa touched his hand and said, "Push number 2" "I have never been up there, what is on this floor? Asked Adam "An apartment" replied Asa Asa unlocked the door from a ring of keys clipped to his belt and they went inside. "Aloha Flatbush, this is nice," said Andrew, looking at a stunning display of rooms. "It's gorgeous." added Adam. "You say `gorgeous' when your Jewish" he told Andrew. "Are you saying that this is available and we can rent this place?" Said Adam "That is what, I am saying," replied Asa. "It is something you need, and this place is something you should have." "We can't afford it right now, but if you hold it for the next two weeks after I start my job, we can swing it," said Andrew. "How much are you asking for rent," interrupted Adam. "Look around first and make sure you like everything. Heat, AC, utilities are included and it is furnished; but, you can change things around the way you want it. The living room is good size with a closet. The kitchen is small with appliances and eating meals have to be in the breakfast nook in the bay window. It has a tub and shower, (nothing elegant) and one bedroom with a queen size bed (sheets and blankets are on the shelf in the closet) There is also a smaller room for a second bedroom or storage. The Laundry room is in the basement with a washer/dryer." "This, I call the studio apartment. It has the best natural light. An artist lived here at one time and called it his studio. But it's an apartment, and not really a studio." Upstairs I have a tenant by the name of Thelma Greene. She has lived here for years with her daughter Gloria and they are wonderful people. They keep to themselves and I only see them coming and going, and that's not all the time. Thelma you will love, she is like a grandmother to the gay boys. "So what do you say; do you want it?" asked Asa "Really! Yes, the bakery is about five blocks from here." Said Adam "Seven blocks, corrected Asa," "How much is the rent? I don't want a special price; only something realistic" Said Adam "That's right," interrupted Andrew, "nothing special." "What Jew doesn't want a special price? You are not getting the going rate; what you are getting, is no rate. The place is rent-free for you and Andrew, for a year; after that, we will talk. Nothing, do I want other than helping you to get started; I want nothing. However, should you feel horny, and willing to share, I am just downstairs. Being naughty is not part of the rent deal, that's a separate issue." Concluded Asa Andrew looked at Adam who was shaking his head yes, with eyes wide open. "You are a miracle worker Asa; yes, yes we'll take it;" blurted out Adam. "You are much too kind to me – too kind to us." Andrew put his arms around Asa and held him tight. He put his face next to his cheek and kept it there before kissing him. Adam kissed the other cheek. "Holy Moly, I feel like Dolly Levy; "Look at the old girl now" getting two kisses. "I owe you huge time grandpa," said Adam. "I'm unconditionally for you." "I am too grandpa, chimed in Andrew. Now that Adelaide is no longer here, let me do the chores that she did. I will enjoy it." He said, rubbing Asa's shoulder "I never pass up a good deal – But nothing (except kindness) do you owe me; and for the record, you are much prettier than Adelaide." "Adam is correct – you are wonderful. The best I can do is the best you will get from me," said Andrew. Asa stared at Andrew thinking what to say next. This was a bit unusual for him because blurting out whatever came to mind was how he functioned. "That was a clever remark," said Asa. "I'm sure your best is always with you." "You did say, that you like red heads; "asked Andrew "I Love red heads;" Asa replied, licking raw meat like a cougar in the wilds; is all I can hope to find; since my best days are behind me." He gave Andrew the once over from head to toe. He bubbled with the body that was pure crotch material – Asa noticed everything. "Humm grandpa, so you are a cougar? – very interesting" "You like Andrew; don't you grandpa?" interjected Adam "I like what you like, and I want what you want. Of course; don't be a Yutz; your Viking boyfriend is gorgeous; what's not to like" ************************* Part 14 continues – it contains lewd sex that is typical of Adam and Asa revealing who they are – Fair warning...
