A week had passed so quickly and Murali was sad to see Salvador go, he had grown fond of Salvador these weeks. With a sigh Murali approached Salvador and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder. Salvador turned and smiled, there was a box in his hand and he gave it to Murali. It was a long black box and Murali opened it. Inside was an elegant rosary, with emerald beads and a silver crucifix and gleamed in the sunlight and Salvador gave a smile. "It is for you to remember me by. We will see each other soon I promise." Murali embraced him " I hope so." 'Si Dios quiere ( God Willing)." Salvador leaned and kissed his forehead. Murali put on the rosary and then they heard a knock on the front door, they looked at each other and Murali opened the door. A man stood there with a dark expression, his hands were clasped and his blue eyes were watery. His chestnut brown hair was combed neatly. He looked up in surprise to see Murali and Salvador standing there. "Skuzani (exscuse me), is Nazzarenu home?" the man spoke with a european accent. "He is not home but he will be soon." Murali replied. "I have some... grave news. May I come in?" the man asked. "Yes of course." Salvador and Murali moved out of the way. Murali shut the door and Salvador offered him a seat. The man sat " I am Rikkardu , Rikkardu Vella. I am a family friend of the Callejas." "I see, would you like anything to drink?" Murali asked. " A glass of water." Rikkardu replied "Salvador would you?" Salvador nodded and walked into the kitchen. "May I ask who you are?" Rikkardu asked Murali "Murali Khan, I am a close friend of Erik's." "Good good, will Nazzarenu be home soon?" "Yes." They heard a car pull up and a door slam, the front door was unlocked and Erik walked in. Rikkardu stood and Erik seemed surprised, they embraced and Rikkardu patted Erik's shoulder. "Kif inti? (how are you?)" Rikkardu said to Erik "Tajjeb, grazzi sinjur ( I am fine thank you sir)." Erik walked and stood beside Murali. " Nazzarenu I have news from Malta.... I am sorry but your grandmother has passed away. Epifanija and Massimiljanu have asked for you to come home immediately." Erik stood quiet, no emotion crossed his face but he grew pale. "I see." he said this in a hoarse voice. "I am sorry Nazzarenu, come to my office when ... it is time." Rikkardu stood and walked out the door. Erik walked into his room and shut the door, Murali watched unable to move. His strength wavered and his legs stood still. Salvador sat at the counter muttering prayers. Salvador looked up as Murali sat across from him, they sat in silence and they glanced at Erik's bedroom door from time to time. "Mi amigo, you should go to him." Salvador said placing his hand on Murali's. "What do I say?" "God will tell you." with that Murali stood and knocked on the door. "Erik?.." Murali heard sniffling in the room. " I am coming in." Murali entered the room, he saw Salvador walk into his bedroom and shut the door to give them privacy. Erik sat on the edge of his bed. His face was streaked with tears as he sobbed and wiped his eyes from time to time. Murali shut the door and sat next to Erik. "Erik?" "Y-yeah?" Erik said through sobs. "It is okay, do not cry." Murali held the wet face. "Murali, ya know... my gran is gone. She and I were close... Just hurts ya know?" Erik sobbed again. Murali lifted Erik's face and kissed the soft lips, Erik sobbed but then whimpered as Murali licked his tears. Murali held his finger to Erik's lips and stroked his cheeks. Erik showed no resistance as Murali slowly put his hands under the t-shirt. Running his hands over the six pack and squeezing the defined pecs, and pinching the brown nipples. Erik moaned and lifted his arms as Murali lifted the shirt off his head. Murali slowly massaged the man beneath him and ran his fingers to unbutton the jeans, he reached in the boxers and grabbed the rapidly growing cock. With a slight tug the pants and boxers came down and the cock sprung free slapping against the abs. Erik watched as Murali began stripping and with a seductive expression climbed on top of the stud. Murali faced Erik and began rubbing his indian cock against Erik's. Erik sighed and Murali smiled and rotated his body, his cock was engulfed by the hot mouth and Murali looked back. "Suck it good Erik... oh yeah.. that feels good." Murali started to fuck the warm mouth, he then engulfed the maltese cock he craved everyday. Licking the head and down the side of the shaft, he played with Erik's balls and slathered the steel rod in his mouth. He fucked the hot mouth faster and placed his hands under the firm caramel globes. He lifted Erik's butt to reveal a dark hole with a light dusting of black hair. Murali felt Erik suck harder, and with the encouragement licked the hole with a flick of his tongue. He began slow at first, licking in circles and exploring the crevice, tasting Erik's body. He then began to lick at the entrance and pushed his tongue further as the hole was bombarded by his assault. Erik squeezed Murali's ass as he felt the tongue explore his virginal hole. "Murali... god yes....aaah." He tried to relax and felt Murali's tongue slip in ;lubricating his hole for what was to come. Murali pulled out of Erik's mouth and told Erik to scoot up, he licked his finger and rubbed the tip of it against the hole. Murali smiled and slowly pushed his finger, Erik's hole was tight but eventually the tip slipped into the hot man. Erik groaned and cringe as the finger invaded further. Murali smacked the caramel ass "Your hole is so tight." Erik grinned and wiped another tear. "Not so innocent are ya-aaaah." He felt another finger enter. Murali grinned and slowly started to finger fuck his stud. The hole squeezed his fingers and he felt pleasure from the feeling, Murali waved his cock and rubbed it against the entrance. Murali aimed at the lubricated hole and attempted to push the pink head in, Erik cringed and attempted to shut his hole. "No don't squeeze relax." Murali rubbed the ass and felt Erik relax, he watched his head pop into the entrance. "AAAH GOD that hurts!" Erik panted. "I am sorry Erik, take a pillow or something. Please I want to help you." Erik nodded and grabbed a pillow, Murali started to push in another three inches and Erik bit the pillow trying to suppress his scream. Tears began to fall. Murali eased in further. "The pain will go away soon." Murali then eased in the rest and Erik cringed, Murali started to thrust slowly so that Erik could accommodate his indian cock. He then began to increase the pace trying to find Erik's prostate, Erik yelped as he felt Murali's balls slap against his cheeks. A wave of pleasure suddenly came and Erik began moaning. "OH GOD yeah... your a rough ride aren't ya?" Murali smiled and began pulling almost all the way out and slamming back in "Your ass is so tight ." They fucked with Erik on his back for some time and Erik's ass was turning pink from the slaps. "Erik can I fill you with my cum?" "Yeah give it to me...." Erik panted as he stroked his thick cock. "OH god I AM CUMMING!." Murali slammed his body and filled Erik with his man cream, Murali shuddered from orgasm and Erik then came covering his chest with his cum. "God Murali... ya fed me so much." Murali chuckled "Now you how it feels to be fucked, it is dripping out." "Thanks for this...." Erik panted. "My pleasure, wish I could have lasted longer." Murali said as he rubbed the cum on Erik's chest. "Come lay with me will ya ? You gave me a freakin three course meal in there." Murali laid next to Erik and Erik held his hand. " I want you to come with me." "Where?" "Malta." "But Salvador and Arman and Alphonse?" "Salvador will be invited to the... funeral... and Arman and Alphonse will be fine." "You want to take me to Malta really?" "I want you to meet my parents." Erik smiled and hugged Murali. Murali hugged back and kissed the lips again. "I will be happy to go." Erik smiled " Let's get cleaned up and start packing ." _______________ Avan carried up his last box up the stairs and into the formerly vacant apartment. He began unpacking his things and moved furniture to and fro. There was a knock and he turned to see a teenager standing there with a confused look on his face. "I am sorry to eenterupt but who are you?" "My name is Avan I am moving in." "Where eez Murali?" "He is at another home." Avan replied " And you are?" "My name eez Alphonse." the youth shook Avan's hand. "Pleasure, would you mind helping me if it is not too much trouble?" Avan asked "I will be glad to help." Alphonse replied. Alphonse began to unpack boxes and organizing the man's belongings. Alphonse could not help but gaze at the man's bubble ass as he bent over. Avan too looked occasionally, Alphonse was indeed a perfectly fuckable youth. With those blue eyes and bright smile. They finished unpacking within two hours and Avan thanked Alphonse for the assistance. "How much do you want?" Avan asked sheepishly "For?" "Your work?" "Eet eez for free." "How generous , thank you." "But there is something I want to ask?" Alphonse replied " And what is that?" ' Are you going to live here alone?" "I will." "I was wondering eef eet eez okay eef I come every so often?" "Just call ahead." Avan took a paper and wrote his number. "I think eet eez good to have some company when you are alone no?" "Quite true, I have to get back to work if you would exscuse me?" Avan smiled and started sorting his things. Alphonse with a nod walked out of the apartment and went to grab his apron for work and grabbed his bicycle. _______________________ Murali and Erik emerged from the room and saw that Rikkardu had returned and was having pleasant conversation at the kitchen table. Rikkardu took no notice that two men had just emerged from the same room and smiled at Erik, he had brought his briefcase and took out a notepad. "Nazzarenu come and sit down." Rikkardu donned his glasses. Erik sat down across with Murali standing at his side. Rikkardu continued "I have arranged for you to stay wit your parents. You will depart tomorrow morning at 11 and arrive in Barcelona, there you will meet up with some mourners and will then fly to Valletta. That means three people I assume? Nazzarenu lucky for you... your parents funded your flight and Salvador's but your friend will have to give me money to get a ticket. I have a friend that will help and I am sure I can get a ticket by tonight." Murali gulped at the price tag on the paper. "I do not have that kind of money." Salvador smiled and walked into his room to fetch a travel bag, he unzipped it and withdrew an envelope with no hesitation he withdrew several hundreds and gave it to Rikkardu. "Is this enough?" Rikkardu grinned " It is." Murali looked at Salvador and could not believe what had happened. Erik gave Salvador a look of gratitude " Thanks." "De nada." " I will go and fetch the ticket grazzi." Rikkardu quickly got up and placed two tickets on the table and was out the door. When Rikkardu left, Murali and Erik turned to Salvador who sipped his coffee with a nonchalant expression. Erik placed his hands on Salvador's " Why would ya do that?" "Even though I was in my room I could hear both of ...you." Salvador blushed " I wanted to help as best as I could." " Thank you Salvador, I owe you so much." Murali hugged Salvador and Erik did the same. " Go pack mis amigos, I am getting crushed." Salvador gasped Erik and Murali released him and ruffled his hair, Murali followed Erik to a closet and Erik pulled out three large suitcases and a duffel bag. He gave a suitcase to Murali and they went into the bedroom. " I am sorry bout this Murali, I promise when we get home we can decorate the study to your liking." Erik smiled and took out his phone to call work. Murali packed and Erik walked into the closet and dialed the stations number. "Yello?" A familiar voice picked up. "Hey Cecil! It's me Erik." " What do you want now Calleja? You drunk or something?" The voice laughed " I need a favor." Erik replied. ' What kind?" "I have to return home for a funeral, not sure how long I'm gonna be gone." " Hmmm, ditchin out on us so soon Calleja?" "No sir, just had to go home." "Fine ,I'll just have Francisco cover for you. You can take your trip to that exotic country of yours." "Thanks Cecil, I owe ya one." "Don't kid yourself kid, you owe me plenty. Bring me back something or I'll make sure your screwed when you get back." with that the phone call ended and Erik laughed as he put his phone in his pocket. He needed a cheer up and Murali and Cecil did a good job of it. Erik saw that Murali had already packed and was now filling the duffel bag with their necessities such tooth paste, shampoo and razors of course. Erik was about to pack his bag and noticed that there were clothes in there, neatly folded and all his favorite outfits. On top was a black and white suit and black tie with a hanger, Murali had also packed a suit and chuckled at Erik's face. "Damn do ya work fast." Erik said zipping up the suitcase. "It was easy." Murali replied. Salvador walked in with a smile and sat on the bed "Are you all packed?" "Yeah, we're done in here thanks to this guy." Erik playfully poked Murali. " Are you feeling better?" Salvador said looking at Erik directly. "For now until we get to Malta." Erik replied. They returned to the living room and watched television until Rikkardu arrived, with a quick presenting of the ticket he hurried off to prepare his own bags. They watched him go and figured that they must wake up early for the shuttle, Erik snuggled with Murali and watched Salvador looking dreamily at the movie. Murali looked and pulled the Spaniard to them and Erik wrapped both arms around them. Murali eventually ended up sitting in Erik's lap and Salvador was on Erik's left being hugged. " We should head to bed guys we're going to be a on a plane for awhile." Erik flipped off the t.v and Salvador yawned and began to walk to his room. "Where ya going?" Erik called out. "To bed." Salvador replied with another yawn. "Come sleep with us Salvador. There is plenty of room." Murali added. "Are you sure?" Salvador asked sheepishly. "Come on ya know you want to." Erik and Murali pulled Salvador into the room and they undressed to their boxers. Murali laid on the left and Erik on the right ,they slept with their arms draped over the Spanish stud. ______________ They woke up the next morning and did their morning routine, Murali looked at Salvador in admiration and Erik as well. The shuttle came around 8 a.m and they grabbed their bags and piled in. It was a sunny day and the air was crisp, the shuttle moved with a slight shake every so often and within a hour arrived at the airport. Masses of people travelled in every direction in attempts to reach whatever destination. It was a flurry of nationalities and languages as they walked across the tile floor, they went through security with ease and their suitcases would meet them in Barcelona. They sat at a large food court and wolfed down a good meal before their 8 hour flight. An hour passed then the announcement came. "Flight 234 to Barcelona is now boarding." the electronic woman spoke with a monotone voice. With enthusiasm they approached the boarding area and were greeted by a very bored attendant who checked their tickets and muttered Bon Voyage. Erik and Murali sat next to one another and Salvador sat on the other side by himself, the flight attendants gave their usual speeches regarding electronics and the plane took off within a half hour. The cabin was soon filled with soft breaths and snores of weary passengers. Erik sat reading a novel he had brought along and Murali was on his laptop typing. Salvador hummed to his ipod and they made conversation from time to time. Several hours passed and Murali drifted off to sleep, Erik finished his fourth novel and saw Salvador was chatting with the woman next to him. Erik sat and began to recall his childhood and felt the pain wage war with his emotions. It struck at his heart with brutality and Erik let the tears fall as he pictured the time spent with his grandmother. He turned to the side and slept. A sudden shake woke him with a start, Murali was looking at him with concern and Salvador peered over with the same expression. Erik got up silently and felt his feet were heavy, with each step his mind grew more distant. He heard muffled voices and disregarded them as he grabbed his bags from the rack and followed Salvador. Murali turned back every now and again to gaze at Erik. He felt guilt that he only was a temporary relief, with a last glance Murali decided it would be best to leave Erik be for now. Murali felt a shift in language as they exited and emerged into the front of the El-Prat, crowds spoke in either Spanish or Catalan and saw why the Spanish were known for their looks and loud conversations. A couple waved and quickly ran over from across the room, Murali could tell that they were Salvador's parents. Salvador's father was a handsome man, he looked not a day older than 30 and could be mistaken for a sibling, he had the same golden olive skin and gentle face. Yet, his eyes were the color of a blue gray, he was in shape and he stood only a mere inch or two from Salvador's height of 6'1. His dark brown hair was tidy and short. Salvador's mother was simply breath taking, her beauty had receded but there was still plenty. Her long black hair was tied in a neat braid and her chocolate brown eyes were loving, her smile was like Salvador's both angelic and full of compassion. They had created a beautiful combination Murali thought, the woman and man eagerly hugged their son. "Mare. Pare." Salvador air kissed next to his mom's cheeks and hugged his father. "Nosaltres t'hem enyorat ( We've missed you)" Salvador's mother hugged her son and looked at Murali " Who is this?" "Mare, this is Murali." Murali nodded and Salvador's mother smiled. "Hello, Murali welcome to Catalunya (Catalonia). My name is Montserrat and this is my husband Andreu." Murali shook her hand and received a smile from Andreu. Salvador's mother turned to Erik " Nazzarenu, are you alright?" Erik smiled weakly. " I am fine." He hugged her and air kissed both cheeks. Salvador's father bear hugged him and Murali felt a envious feeling. "Ho sento ( I'm sorry)." Andreu said patting Erik's shoulder. "It is fine senyor. Thank you." Erik replied. "Come come, we will take you to our home. I made churros and tortell." Montserrat hugged Erik and walked him out, Andreu walked with his son and Murali followed behind. The car was silent as they drove through the lit streets of Barcelona, Murali had a mixture of feelings as he awed at the gothic cathedrals. Salvador's mother would occasionally point out landmarks such as the Basilica de la Sagrada Familla with its luminous towers and its resemblance to melted wax. People walked chatting in the evening and buildings were adorned with lights. Smells of fresh food and spices filled the car through the open windows and Salvador seemed at ease with being home. Erik looked out the window with no emotion, deep in thought. Murali saw a circle of people illuminated by lit water shooting from an enormous fountain. Their feet moved in unison and their hands were joined, music was being played from a stereo and they smiled at their onlookers. Murali was fascinated at the dancers both young and old, he tapped Salvador's father's shoulder. "What is that dance?" Andreu looked confused and Salvador said something in Catalan. Andreu smiled and replied "La Sardana" Salvador laughed " My father does not speak english." Murali felt guilt " I am sorry." Salvador smiled and returned to chatting with his father. Suddenly the car pulled onto the side and Salvador's mother eagerly went out along with her husband. Salvador grabbed Erik and Murali's hands and pulled them into a plaza, with that they joined hands. Montserrat grabbed her bag and several other items and placed them equidistant from their feet. A slight smile played on Erik's lips as they began dancing in a circle as well. Murali attempted to follow the graceful footing of Salvador but knew he looked like a fool. Several other Catalans joined the circle and they danced for at least a half hour before the music was turned off and an applause rose. They grabbed their belongings and returned to the car. Erik was smiling and looked more lively as he joined in the foreign conversations. Erik turned to Salvador " You are a real friend ya know that?" 'You are welcome, La Sardana heals the heart." "And your mom's churros haha." "Where did you learn to dance like that?" Murali asked Erik. "Ya learn alot of things from parents that went to college here." The car came to a halt in front of a modest home some thirty minutes later, the house was a combination of spanish and moorish styles. It was a two story home with tall rectangular windows embelished with white curtains, flowers grew surrounding a fountain that had an aged look. Two virgin mary's stood like holy sentinels as Salvador's mother opened a iron gate to let them through. A paved pathway lead to a small dome like structure that served as the front room of the house, its archway leading to the front door was adorned with elegant patterns. A large oak door greeted them with it's shiny polished surface and stained glass windows. With a mere turn of a key the door opened revealing a lightly furnished room, small chairs sat near the door to allow for a quick chat and another archway led into the house. Murali looked up at the roof and saw a single chandelier hang from it. Salvador's mother saw Murali's amazement and began giving a brief tour " This front room used to be part of a masjid (mosque), our family kept this part and built a traditional house." She then entered through the archway and urged them to follow. The next room was an elegant living room, two sofas faced one another with a large wooden coffee table in the center. It was homely with various photographs and portraits of family members. Some were yellowed and black and white, and some were paintings. A stair case led to the second floor, and a balcony looked down on the room. They sat and Salvador and his father helped Montserrat carry plates of churros and pastries over. Murali and Erik joyfully ate them while Salvador ate three very slowly. Murali was amazed at the home " Salvador I did not know you were so wealthy." Salvador laughed " I am not wealthy , we inherited this house. Our ancestors were wealthy not us." "Where did the wealth go?" "Our ancestors were philanthrophists and wanted to give back." Salvador replied. "Do you like the food?" Montserrat asked "Yes it is delicious thank you." Murali replied. "We're about done senyora" Erik added. "If you would follow me then I will show you to your rooms for the night. My husband will grab your things for you." She led them up a curved staircase past numerous other portraits up to a small corridor with cherry wood doors lining the walls. With a quick approach to a door she opened it and revealed a guest room, it was decorated with antique furnishings and the bed with its soft pillows and dark blue blanket were inviting. She patted Erik's shoulder and led him in. "This will be your room, Salvador is on the right and I will wake you up for breakfast, there is a bathroom across the hall feel free to shower." She smiled and continued on, Erik nodded and shut the door. Murali was curious about Salvador's room and stood with excitement as Montserrat turned the knob. The room was painted a very light blue, and a map of Europe hung on the wall above the bed . There was a neatly organized black desk and a silver crucifix hung on the wall above it. Two hooks on the wall below the crucifix had several rosaries both wooden and some with more lavish beads and crosses. A bible was placed at the center and four ceramic angels stood between the hooks with grace. The walk in closet stood at the far end of the room , revealing european style clothing and a rack dedicated to traditional spanish clothing and hats. Several boxes rested in the corner labeled in Catalan and the wood floors were shiny. Murali gazed about in awe and Salvador gave a slight smile as he sprawled out in the bed. "Murali you can stay here, just know your room is next door. Salvador, pots tu lo ajudar si ell vol alguna ajuda? (can you help him if he wants some help?". Salvador nodded and Murali looked at her walk away in confusion. He saw Salvador sprawl out on the bed and Murali sat. Salvador stayed quiet for sometime just gazing at the celling. Murali broke the silence " Do you think Erik will be alright?" 'Death is not easy to accept, give him time. You look down do you want to see something?" Salvador grinned and sat up. "What?" Murali was curious. "The heirloom room." with that Salvador sprang up and began walking down the stairs with Murali close behind. They walked down a hallway that led to a large door with a keylock, two wooden crosses hung on either side of the door and Salvador took his hand and placed his hand at the center of the cross of the left and removed the top revealing a hollow space with an elegant silver key. He took the key and turned it in the keyhole, he pushed the door gently open revealing a room with various items. A conquistador's helmet sat in a glass case at a center with a saber resting horizontally within, they both were slightly worn and Murali could see where it had been used. Three cases rested on the back wall of the room, a large tall case showed an encased bridal gown, the case to the left held a rather tattered diary with yellowed crinkled pages and the right case had an elegant glass bottle with water inside. Murali followed Salvador like a tourist seeing a foreign country for the first time. "The helmet and saber belonged to a ancestor that was a conquistador, that diary was another ancestor and talked about his travels. That dress is my madres and that bottle was given to us, it has holy water inside." Murali was speechless and he admired every object with longing and awe." This is amazing." Salvador laughed and pulled Murali out " Do not tell mi madre or she will kill us both." He locked the door and slipped the key back. They snuck upstairs and went to bed. ____________________ A hand gently shook Murali's body and he opened his eyes to see Montserrat standing over with a bright smile. The sunlight that came through the windows gave the room a soft orange glow. Murali yawned and stretched his legs, Montserrat walked out of the room and Murali changed , showered and brushed his teeth. He entered the kitchen and saw that there was a quicker pace to eating. Andreu quickly went out to get the car started, and soon they piled into the car, Salvador had brought out a suitcase and a folder with him. Erik was smiling from time to time but Murali saw pain in his eyes. They arrived at the airport boarded and soon were on their way to Malta. Erik seemed to get more unerved with each passing hour and Murali felt his guilt rise in being unable to help. They flew over the waters of the sea and Murali gasped as he saw several islands emerge as they descended. Malta the land in which his lover came was a mere touch away. Erik walked with heavy foot steps as he dragged his bags, Salvador and his family looked around pointing and muttering to each other. Murali saw a woman standing near the main entrance, she was dressed simply in a black skirt and blouse, a see through veil was tied at her chin. She was indeed Erik's mother and she quickly saw her son and tears filled her eyes. She ran with god like speed and gave a hug only a mother could sustain, Erik embraced her back and had to lean to kiss her cheeks. She then turned to Salvador and hugged him with the same gusto, Andreu and Montserrat greeted her with the same air kisses. Murali got a closer look at her when she came and shook his hand. She was a woman you would expect to see to be watching her children like a bird of prey, her light brown hair was tied in a bun above her neck. Her sparkling green eyes , long lashes and bright smile were loving and fit for a mother. She was a slim woman but her height was only a inch smaller than Montserrat's. Her eyes seemed to tap into Murali's soul as he shook her hand and she walked them out to two parked cars. She spoke with an italian like accent and she paused as she stumbled with english. " Salvador, Montserrat, and Andreu I will drive you. Nazzarenu, and your friend can ride with father." They split and Erik opened the trunk and laid his baggage and Murali's in the trunk. Erik entered the car first and sat behind his father and Murali sat behind the empty front passenger seat. Massimiljanu was a imposing man, his coal black hair was combed in a style similar to Erik's. His dark caramel skin was blemish free, and his body was toned though not as much as Erik's.Yet, it was still appealing. He had a long slim nose and his black eye brows were arched, he was quite a catch even at his age. His face was youthful. As Murali buckled the seatbelt, Massimiljanu turned and Murali felt that the face was very attractive and masculine. His eyes were intense, the blue eye was frigid like ice but had kindness in it and the hazel one a cunning and wise look. A beautiful smile sprung from the full lips showing dimples. Massimiljanu had a dark stubble and he then switched to the road. " Nazzarenu who is this?" the voice was fatherly and curious. "This is Murali." "What is he?" "Indian sir." Murali replied. "Nazzarenu you know this is a family occasion, it is alright to bring Salvador but a stranger?" "I will explain later..." Erik replied " Your english is much better." "I practice often , Murali I hope that my son has not taken you from your work." "No sir, he did not." Massimiljanu smiled gently and slowly followed the other car, they drove through Valletta's crowded streets, it was a typical European city. Beautiful buildings and various statues; however, there was rustic look to this jewel in the sea. Buildings stood side by side and there were the open markets and lavish churches. They passed a plaza and Massimiljanu began talking about the city. "This is the street that your grandfather fought on, without the nazis and bombs. Valletta was used as a base for attacking Italy." Murali nodded and saw a dome peeking out from over the sandy colored buildings " What is that dome?" Massimiljanu smiled and replied " That is the Rotunda of Mosta, it is where the germans dropped a bomb but it did not explode." They chatted back and forth and soon the car came to smooth stop in front of stone steps, the passangers of the front car were already mounting the steps. The house was shaped like an elongated box, the front was paved with white stone and the sunlight fell and gave it a bright look. There were four windows that lined the top of the house near the roof and the french style front door rested between the 2nd and 3rd windows. Small flower beds grew near the front doors, it was welcoming and Murali felt drawn to it. It was an average home with the usual furnishings but the back windows were stained glass and a circular window made of lighter colored glass let in a artificial sunset. Massimiljanu led Erik and Murali upstairs with Epifanija a short distance behind. They entered a den with a sofa and two recliners and Massimiljanu shut the doors. Erik and Murali sat and faced Erik's parents. Massimiljanu clasped his hands "Nazzarenu explain to me why you brought Murali to this event?" Erik paused trying to find the words " Murali... is more to me than you think." Massmiljanu's eyebrows raised and Erik continued "I am in love with Murali ... and I wanted him here with me." Epifanija covered her mouth and Massimiljanu did not even flinch "I see." There was a silence and Epifanija sat with her husband who sat deep in thought. with a sigh the silence was broken. " What do you think of this Epifanija?" "The same as you do." She replied calmly. "Then we will tell them?" He said with a grin. Massimiljanu gave a warm smile "Though we were not expecting this... you are our son and we give you our blessing." Erik looked at both of them with shock " You what?" "You have our blessing."
