"Robbie, I never knew how much I could feel for another person. Now I know." The t shirts and shorts didn't stay on for very long. Two big hockey players took the others clothes off slowly and tonight was the time for tongues all over the other body. Robert had been lying on top of Lucas. Lucas put his arms around him and with his strength and agility turned them on their sides. He then forced Robert onto his stomach. Robert felt the wet tongue start at his neck and go down his back stopping to lick and lightly bite his butt until the tongue was going up and down his crack. He knew what was coming when hands pulled his butt cheeks apart. The tongue attacked his entrance, eventually forcing the tongue in. Very shortly, Robert was on his hands and knees and Lucas was behind him entering him. Lucas was like a man possessed. He was literally pummelling his lover and his hands were all over Robert's body and finally one hand had his cock encircled. It was not going to last long. Robert could feel his prostate being stimulated again and again. Robert told Lucas to stroke him tightly and faster. Suddenly, he felt Lucas go in hard and stop. Lucas shuddered as his climax hit him. His hand never stopped and Robert closed his eyes to concentrate on the feelings coursing through his body. The tingling started in his groin and grew, unstoppable now and he exploded time after time until he felt drained and almost weak. He collapsed on the bed with Lucas on top of him. Present The guys were up early and the first in the kitchen. Robert's plan was to make French toast for the entire family and he had brought maple syrup just in case there was none in the house. They had the coffee maker turned on and had all the makings ready to put it in the fry pan as soon as people started to arrive. They had searched through Mrs. S' spices and herb containers and found some cinnamon. He liked to put a dash of it on his French toast. The first down was Justin. He was raring to go as they had made plans for a pick up hockey game with some of his buddies along with Lucas and Robert. Robert as usual noticed the little touches and looks between Justin and Janet when she arrived. He figured that Justin had made his way from his room to hers for at least part of the night. They started cooking the first batch for Justin, Janet and themselves. Robert heard the clearing of a throat at the doorway. "So what is going on here. Something smells very good." It was Mrs. Stephenson. Robert turned around. "Your French toast is just about ready along with Janet and Justin's. Hey Lucas, coffee for your mother." Smiling, "Yes, master!" The two gave each other a look and Robert had mumbled smart ass. He was certain that his mother was smothering a smile. Robert served them and started to prepare some for Lucas and himself and some for seconds or Mr. Stephenson if he turned up. "There is lots of maple syrup. Don't hold back." Mr. Stephenson arrived. "Dad, you will have to wait but you are next in line for French toast with real maple syrup and coffee. " "What a way to wake up on Boxing Day. Thank you guys." Again there were lots of comments and talk about the day and the excellent breakfast. Several people had seconds. Mrs. S. stood up ready to start the clean up. It was Lucas who suggested that she stay and have a fill up of coffee while they cleaned up. He reminded her of all the work that she had done yesterday for their Christmas dinner. She looked surprised but pleased at his comment. "Mom all we have to do is put dishes in the dishwasher. We cleared it earlier. Relax and enjoy the day." By the time they were finished, the kitchen was spotless. They arrived back from their Boxing Day, pick up hockey match. Justin was bursting with excitement. "I would love to see these guys play. They are incredible players. They insisted that they play against each other. Powerful skaters and the moves that they made were unbelievable. It would be amazing to see them in a league game." Robert decided that this was his chance. "We are going to be playing in my home town in late January. You know that you are all welcome. My parents have a big home. I know my dads. They would love to have you all. Two of our friends are staying with us but there is lots of room. My dads love having company and lots of people around. When I was in high school my place was often filled with friends and we had parties there. My hockey team's last party was at my place. Sunday is always a big day. You can go to church with us and then back to Momma and Pop's for lunch." Lucas interrupted, "Momma prepares a feast for us. We often bring things to add to the lunch but it is noisy and fun and I can guarantee that you will not leave hungry. You will meet Robbie's family. That is an experience that you won't forget in a long time." He chuckled as he looked at his guy and then his Dad who nodded his head with a big smile. Mrs. S, "We can't impose on you like that." Robert pulled out his phone and punched in a number. In French, "Hi, Papa. No we just had a great breakfast and then there was a make up hockey match. I have invited Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson, Janet, Lucas' sister and her friend Justin to stay with us for our next hockey game back home. Mrs. S says that they cannot impose." He paused listening. "OK." Looking at Mrs. S, he handed her the phone. She listened. "But there would be four extra people in the house for Saturday and Sunday, rooms, meals." She laughed. "Are you certain? Thank you so much." "Why the laughter?" "When I told him that there would be four extra people. He laughed and said six actually, your two friends from university and the more the merrier." Looking at Robert, "You must have a fairly big house." "We have four bedrooms and a large basement with a room with couches. Over the years, we have a collection of air mattresses and folding cots. Our house was always used by friends and family who wanted to stay over." "You mean when they shouldn't drive." "No, all parties for my friends at my house were no alcohol, no drugs and usually no dates. They all knew my dads. We could do a lot but there was a line that you didn't cross with my dads. One guy tried coming but drinking before he came. He had some alcohol in his car as well. He was sent home and banned for the next two parties. Dads relented after one party. Never had a problem again. After that, I would have been the one to send them home if anyone tried. I learned early to take responsibility for my actions and those of my friends." "I think that we would like to meet your family and see a game." She looked at her family. Justin looked excited. Jane look pleased. Lucas' father looked beyond pleased. They talked and sat around enjoying their presents and reading. They had a good lunch and the guys had their stuff at the front door ready to go. Mrs. S looked at Robert. "Robert, it has been a pleasure having you here. I apologize for my behaviour the day when I came to the university. You treated me politely and helpfully. It was very kind of you to drive Lucas home from our place after that day. I would enjoy seeing you both play and stay at your home and meet your family. Your Papa was very welcoming." "That was not necessary but thank you. I had a great time the last couple of days and I know that you will enjoy meeting all my family. The game is going to be tough one. We are going to be playing a team which is on a winning streak at this point." He stopped and looked at both Lucas' parents. "Have a good and enjoyable New Years." He reached out and gave her a hug. He noticed the slight stiffening. "Mrs. S get used to it. This is how my family greets everyone." He gave her a smile which she returned. They weren't in the car a second when Lucas breathed out loudly. "I can't believe it. Between you and my father, you have changed my mother or there is an imposter in her body." "No just my charming, incredible personality." He got a laugh, a hit on the shoulder and a rather rude comment. "You are such a fucking mental case who I happen to really love." It was a comfortable drive home and they received the welcome they were expecting. His dads were at the door in Boxing Day attire, dressing gowns, unshaven and looking really comfortable. They put their stuff in their room and then they came down to find his parents in the living room. There was an expectant look on both his fathers' faces. Jeremy finally asked, "What happened?" Robert turned to Lucas and with raised eyebrows, he nodded his head at Lucas. "Your story." "I know what he will say but this guy and my father put our family back together for me." He saw the look on Robert's face and shook his head at Robert. "My story!" He chuckled as Robert rolled his eyes and sighed. "Robbie greeted my mother with respect and thanked her so graciously that she was like putty in his hands. He brought sparkling wine and orange juice for breakfast; we had a wonderful family breakfast on Christmas Day I can tell you. He brought food and told my mother that we could have that for lunch after church so she could prepare the turkey dinner. Putty in his hands." Robert interrupted. "Papa, Dad, it was Lucas who told his father that he wanted the same treatment as his sister and then really told his mother that she could make the decision if he was coming home for Christmas. He made it clear that he would receive the same treatment as his sister or he was not coming home. Put it all in her hands. He did a really great job." "Well, my dad obviously worked on her." He turned to Timothy and Jeremy. "She let us sleep in the same room." "See, it wasn't me it was you and your father." "But you were so good with her with the food and drink and serving French toast this morning." "But you set the stage for being accepted by insisting on being treated like your sister." "Yeah but ...." Timothy looked at the two. "Stop bickering." Together with indignation but starting to laugh, "We aren't bickering!" Timothy turned to Lucas. "He is saying that you laid the ground rules and got you father and mother on side. You let you mother make the decision." Turning to his son. "What Lucas is saying, is that you treated his mother as a proper house guest should." Timothy paused and winked at Lucas. "He can be a devious, charming little bugger when he wants to be." Almost gasping, "Papa!!!" They all broke out laughing and Timothy put his arm around Robert and gave him a loving hug. Then he looked at the two. "You both make it happen in different ways. OK, time to kiss and make up." Robert mumbled as he stepped in to kiss his guy. "First sensible thing he has said today." Timothy and Jeremy together in two different languages. "Robert!!!" More laughter. Still chuckling, Robert, "Is there anything that we can eat and then open some presents. We have one which we really want you to open." "OK, so do we." They had a meal of leftovers from Momma and Grand-mere. It was a good meal. They didn't have a lot for his fathers, some nice fleece sweaters that they had found on sale in the colours that looked best on each. There some really good shirts and sweaters for the guys. Finally, Robert and Lucas brought in a well wrapped present. It was the collage that they had made of the photos that Robert had taken of his fathers' kiss and then the series as they disengaged (Unexpected, Robert 14). The framing had been quite expensive but they hoped that his fathers would really like it and want to hang it somewhere in the house. When Jeremy saw the size and shape of the present. He muttered, "Great minds think alike I suspect." He went into the back room and came back with two smaller packages but obviously the same sort of shape and thickness as the guys had given them. The guys were really insistent that his fathers open theirs first. His fathers opened it carefully. Both gasped. They took quite a bit of time looking at the framed photo and then at the other collages that they had made. They looked at each other and then at the guys. Timothy finally managed to talk. "You must have spent a long time putting this together. It will become one of our most treasured possessions. Thank you for such a lovely gift. If you can, I would love that final shot in a 4 by 6 photo for my desk. This one is going up on the mantel right now." Jeremy came beside his guy and wrapped his arms around him. "He said it all. I want exactly what he wants. Guys these are wonderful." As his dads were clearing the mantel and placing the picture there, Robert explained what they did. "I took the pictures and then we put the collages together. We had a great time doing it. My guy has a good sense of design." The guys opened their present which of course was the pictures that Timothy had taken of the guys on the couch. Both were lost for words. Even they realized how much the picture said. Two people in love and comfortable in that love. There smiles at the end were sweet. There were two framed copies one for each with other pictures in the series if they wanted to change them over the year. "Papa, Dad absolutely the perfect gift. I know that I shall enjoy this so much." He looked at Lucas as usual he could see the eyes getting moist. He grabbed him and gave him a kiss. That led to Jeremy grabbing Timothy and giving him a kiss They read, watched some shows that they had saved and were sitting around having an afternoon snack with coffee and soft drinks when they heard a key in the front door. Paul shouted, "We made it back." They were all up to welcome them. As their dads had done for them, they sent them to their room to return for afternoon snacks and drinks. Unlike so many Canadians on Boxing Day, the guys didn't venture out to the stores for all the Boxing Day sales. They sat around reading, playing on their computers or just chatting. They had a quick supper which they all helped prepare. After supper they sat down and discussed how they would deal with the trip to Brett's home. They figured that they should arrive around 10:45 figuring that his mother would be home alone. Brett had bought her a lovely scarf and gloves. He had said that he knew that the joint account with a hundred dollars had been cleaned out but that would have been done under pressure on his mother from Marty and his father. He wanted his mother to know that he really cared for her. Brett told them that over the summer, Patrick had changed some of his attitudes especially to their minister and the church. He had a serious girl friend who Brett really liked. Apparently Patrick was bright, like Brett, and obviously both were not religious like his parents and Marty. He planned on giving him a call just before they arrived home. He would really like to see him. The guys were seeing yet another side of Brett and they were impressed. They didn't plan on staying for a long time at Brett's home. Brett did not want a confrontation with Marty or his father. He hoped that the situation would eventually die down. They were up the next morning and were ready to leave at 9:45. They had a good drive but as they arrived in town, they could feel that Brett was anxious. They decided to park on a side street so that their car would not be seen by anyone. They all arrived at the front door and Brett took a breath, inserted his key and opened the door. "Hi Mom, it's Brett. I have brought some friends who I want you to meet." The guys stayed on the porch waiting for his mother to arrive. "Oh Brett I was so worried when you didn't come home for Christmas. Patrick explained to me where you were and why you didn't come home but still I wanted to see you. Please ask your friends in." They came in. "Mom, I want you to meet Lucas, Paul and Robert." "My, they are big, young men." "They are all on the university hockey team. Robert is our top scorer and Paul is close behind. Lucas helps keep the goals out as a defence man." They all shook hands with his mother. Brett gave his mother a kiss. "Would you and your friends like to stay for lunch?" "Mom, I don't want to be here too long. I really don't want another scene with Marty and certainly not with Dad. I came to see you and I think that Patty may turn up. I sent him an email and gave him a quick call just outside of town." "You do know that Marty was just trying to help you with your ... situation." "Sorry Mom, I don't have a situation. I know what you have been told at your church by the minister. I have listened to it for what seems like years. I figured it out finally. I am who I am. I have found a great guy and friends at university. I am happy. Marty tried to force me to come home in the middle of exams. I would have lost my courses and my scholarship." "He thought that coming home was more important than anything." "Mom, that is a decision that only I can make. I, I don't want to argue with you. I have brought you a little present. I hope you had a good Christmas." They all sat down. As she opened the present, Robert looked around. The house was well kept up both in inside and out. The furniture was a bit worn and was obviously not expensive. There were worn rugs on the floor. She had arrangements of inexpensive, fake poinsettias in the room for Christmas. He was correct; there was not a lot of money in the family but they were obviously proud and careful with there home. He could see why Brett had such a good set of values. "Oh, they are beautiful. You shouldn't have but I do love them. I have a little present for you." He opened a really nice fleece sweater. "Brett, I am sorry for one thing. Marty and your Dad made me empty your account at the bank. I kept this for you." She went over to a drawer in a table and gave him an envelope. In it was the hundred dollars that he had left in the account. "Mom, I figured that they forced you to do that. My friends suggested that I draw out my savings so that I would be certain that I could finish the year. I want you to keep it. Buy yourself something nice, a little treat. I would be so happy if you did." She came over and gave him a hug and quick kiss. "You always were a sweet child." From the entrance way. "And I am not?" They all turned to see a very well built, good looking young man. Brett was out of his chair and rushed over to hug his brother. "Patty, thank you for coming. So good to see you." Paul could see the tears coming; he wanted to go over and hug him but he resisted. Turning to the really gorgeous young lady beside him. "You must be Anne. Patty has told me a lot about you. He obviously has good taste." With a little mischievous look, Patty, "Anne don't take that too seriously. That is coming from a guy who looks in a different direction for companionship." Patty got a good natured swat from his girlfriend. Patty turning to the group, "Is your friend amongst these handsome young men?" They had agreed that if it seemed appropriate, he would introduce Paul to his family. "Mom, Patty and Anne, I want you to meet Paul." Paul shook Patty's hand and Anne's and then went over to the mother. She spoke with emotion in her voice. "Patty has told me a lot about you after Brett and he had talked and emailed with each other. I am so pleased to meet you." His mother stood up and gave him a hug and said something his ear. They could all hear the surprised reply. "I will." They were to find out later that Brett's mother asked him to care of her son. They sat and chatted. Brett excused himself to use the bathroom. Brett was away for a while as he had decided to clear out all his personal documents that he might need over the next year or more like his passport. When Brett came down, Lucas looked at his watch and motioned to him. They had agreed that they should leave before Marty or his dad arrived home at the noon hour. They stood up and were saying good bye when they heard the front door open. Marty stepped in and looked in the living room. "So you have finally dared to show your face." "No I have come home to say hello to Mom and bring her a small present. We are just leaving." "Not so fast. We have some things to discuss. Dad is on his way home for lunch." "We have nothing to discuss except maybe trying to steal my money out of my bank account." "It was a joint account." "ALL THE MONEY IN THE ACCOUNT WAS PUT THERE BY ME! It was the money that I made last year and summer for my year at university. Mom knows that and accepts it." They heard a car arrive. Brett sighed. The guys moved closer to him and were on the alert. His father came into the living room, stopped in his tracks and stared at his son. In a very combative voice, "It's about time that you came to face us. Pervert that you are." All the guys tensed. Brett smiled. "Dad you can call me what you want. I am who I am. I have known it for years how I feel and I have finally accepted it. If you think that I wanted to be like this, think again. However, nothing will change the way I am so I accept it." "That's not what our reverend says. He ...." "Dad I have listened to his speeches for a long time. He is wrong." He held up his hand. "I have realized one thing. Not one of his bible quotes is from the Gospels. Jesus said nothing about my orientation anywhere in his teachings, not a word. It is Paul and some of the writers of the old testament who write their personal and cultural beliefs. I shall never take courses or be subjected to pressure to change my orientation. Jesus taught us to love one another, each in our own way." Robert thought that that was a brilliant defence of his orientation. He would remember that one. His father stood glowering at his son but not knowing what to say. "So, is one of these guys your fag boyfriend?" "Dad these are some friends who volunteered to drive me here as my car is not in good shape. We are making a day out of it." "Mom thanks for the offer of lunch but we have to be going. Patty and Anne good to see you. Dad and Marty sorry that I don't meet with your approval." He gave his mother a kiss and a goodbye, shook hands with Patty and kissed Anne's cheek. He turned to look at his father but both his father and Marty had moved to block the door. "Dad, please don't end like this. I have to leave with my friends. " "No, you have to see the minister and get help." "Dad, this matter is between god and me. I will never talk to the minister and I certainly will certainly not take any courses or treatments to cure my 'condition'." "You will do as I say." "Dad, I am an adult under the laws of Canada and my ... condition ... is accepted under our laws. I respect you and your opinions but that doesn't mean that I have to obey you when it comes to this issue." His father moved menacing towards Brett and the guys moved to protect him. Brett heard movement behind him. In a strong voice, "Albert, stop! He is my son too. He came to visit ME and he was just leaving. He told me that he didn't want a confrontation with you and Marty. He is leaving, NOW!" She walked up to her husband and forced her way between him and Marty. The guys followed her. Robert who was the last person, felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Marty staring belligerently at him and it looked as if he were going to hit him. Robert looked at him and then spoke in a definite but subdued voice. "I apologize for what I said and did that day we met but I will never back down when there are threats against myself, my family or my friends." Robert backed up and held out his hand to shake Marty's hand. Robert simply shrugged when Marty refused to shake it. Brett's mother turned to look at Marty and Robert. "Marty, these men are guests in my house and you will treat them as such." Brett turned to his mother. "Thank you for what you have done. I don't want to cause problems between you and Dad." Looking first at her husband and then at Brett. "He is going to get an earful when you are gone. I may not understand your orientation but you are my son." Again she looked at her husband and then at Marty and then back at Brett. "You are a man now and you make your own decisions." She leaned over and gave her son a kiss. "Safe trip home." She turned to the guys. "Thanks you so much for bringing him to see me. She gave Paul a loving look. She stood waving at them blocking the father and Marty from saying or doing anything. As they drove off, Brett was clearly moved. "I am so proud of my mother. I have never seen her do anything like that in my life. I think that Dad is going to hear from her. He may even be sleeping in my room for a few nights." He started to snicker. "I guess I should not have those thoughts about my parents but ...." He started to laugh. They all laughed and then looking at Robert. Brett continued. "I saw you watching your dads dancing that night at the club with a really good look on your face. You looked so proud of them and then later, of your grandparents." "Yep, I was hoping that I would be doing exactly what they were doing that night when I am that age, being close with someone I still love after all those years. Did you see Jamie and Philipo dancing that night at the club after our game here in the Fall?" Paul spoke up. "It is hard to believe that they are your grandparents. I guess now that gay marriage has been legal for so long that we are going to see more great things like that. They are so fit, handsome and in love. Great role models." No more was said for a while as they thought about the last few days. All of them realized that they had experienced really meaningful things over the last days in different ways for each of them. Comments I have had some feedback from some readers who were trying to read some of my previous stories. If you go to Authors on Nifty and find my name, when you try to access Surprised Eric and Dave from the Authors list, it doesn't connect to anything. Surprised Graham and Robert is just not there. If you want to read them, use the date and category, Adult-Friends or Beginnings etc. and go the appropriate category and date and they are there and active. If you liked this story, you might want to read the others that I have published on Nifty. In particular, my first story, Unexpected Change which has had the most positive comments and one of my other favourites, What a Difference a Year Makes. I have recently reread Introspection and it is worth a read, Michael Burtchell's story is in Discoveries; its ending is a little weak but getting there is fun.
