nuts lately. First of all a slight recap

Ben is in hospital awaiting an operation on a heart defect which caused him

Chapter Four

James woke up early the next morning and watched as the nurse prepared to
take young Ben down to theatre. Ben was looking scared as the doctor gave
him the anaesthetics. James sat there holding his hand as he gently drifted
off to sleep. James kissed the lad on the forehead and watched as the
nurses wheeled him into the theatre.

James sat in the relative's room opposite the theatre waiting the longer
the time went the more nervous James got. Max and Alex arrived about an
hour into the operation. Alex ran over and hugged James tight and said "how
long since he went in?"  James looked at his watch and said "just over an
hour"

Max "I didn't think it would take all this time" James said "well they did
say it would depend on how bad the defect was and if it would be keyhole or
not"

Just then the door opened and a stern looking man walked in and said "Mr
Reed?"

Max said "yes"

"I'm Mr Wheeler the surgeon who has just operated on your son it is good
news Ben's defect wasn't has bad as we first thought and we were able to
sort it out with keyhole surgery he is in post op now if you would like to
sit with him as the anaesthetics wear off."

"Thank you Mr Wheeler" Max said smiling

Max went into the post op and sat there holding Ben's hand as the young lad
started to come round he saw his dad and said "where's Alex?"

Max smiled and said "he is with James in the relatives room only one person
is allowed in here"

The nurses arrived and said "ok let's get this young man back to the ward"

Max and James followed the porters as they pushed `Ben's bed back to ward
Alex was walking along side his younger brother.


A few weeks later

Ben was now back at home with Alex and James. Max was spending more and
more time with the family and eventually he asked James if he could
possibly move in. James was reluctant at first but after speaking to the
boys decided to allow him to. James converted part of his studio into a
bedroom for Max.

The boys were excited at the prospect of their dad moving in with them but
Alex was getting worried that his and James's relationship might be
harmed. Max however had accepted from the beginning that Alex and James are
a couple and that he wouldn't interfere in their relationship. Max was very
happy moving in with his two sons and of cause James.

The day of the move went smoothly and soon Max was settled into his new
home. James had now moved his studio into an empty shop nearby allowing the
family home to be just that. James's business was booming and Alex's
modelling career was just about to take off after Max reluctantly allowed
Alex to do some photo shoots for James. James was sat in his office when
the phone rang it was from a well known fashion company asking for the
details of the model that he had used in a campaign for a rival
recently. It was apparently a huge success and this rival company had lost
a contract because they had used a different model. The model was Alex but
James said "yeah I know who you are on about but I'm not sure if he will do
another shoot"

James told the woman that he would ask Alex's father if he will let him do
another shoot and would get back to her but also insisted that if Alex did
do the shoot he would be there and there was to be no underwear or swimwear
involved. The woman agreed.

James locked up and went home to the flat and told Max about the offer of a
contract to model for this big well known fashion house. Max said "as long
as it doesn't interfere with his schoolwork and that he is chaperoned I
don't mind"

James said "no problem the shoot is on a weekend and I will chaperone him"

Max said "ok I have no problem as long as Alex doesn't"

James told Alex all about the offer and he was really excited he then
looked at his dad and said "you don't mind?"  Max smiled and said "as long
as James stays with you I don't mind at all I cant help having a hot stud

The day of the shoot

Alex and James left the flat early and headed off to the studio where the
shoot was taking place. Alex was really nervous but soon took it all in his
stride as he walked up and down the catwalk showing off the new season

photographer called an end to the shoot.

Alex was looking really tired when he went over to James.

James said "you ok?"  Alex "yeah I'm fine but I am really tired and he said
we might have to come back tomorrow to shoot some scenes on the beach."
James said "sit by here I'll go and speak to him you are not booked for the
swimwear"

James walked over and said "can I have a word?"  "Yeah sure" Darren the
photographer said "I understand you want Alex back tomorrow to shoot some
footage on the beach?" James said "Yeah that's right it's the swimwear
shoot" Darren said

"Well I'm afraid there has been some misunderstanding as Alex isn't booked
for swimwear" James said "Let me check" Darren said looking at his sheet
"Yes you are absolutely right it's Ben and Jason tomorrow I'm sorry for the
mistake" Darren said "That's ok it is just that Alex is not allowed to do
swimwear shoots as his dad wont give permission" James said

"That is a shame because Alex is way better looking than Jason and he would
have made a great model in the catalogue" Darren said

"I agree but he is under 18 so what his dad says goes" James said

"Right we better get moving thank you for a wonderful day" James said

James walked over to Alex who had now changed back into his own clothes and
said "ok that's sorted he had made a mistake Ben is back tomorrow with
another model not you" Alex smiled and said "kewl"

James and Alex arrived home and Alex told his dad all about the fashion
show and the shoot. He also told Max about Darren mistakenly thinking he
was doing the swimwear shoot.

Alex was tired and went to bed early. James was in his office which he had
made out of what was left of his original studio. Max knocked the door and
James said "come in" Max said "I want to ask you something?"  "Yeah sure"
James said "Do you think I'm being stupid in not allowing Alex to do
swimwear shoots?" Max said

"Umm I don't really know but you can't be too careful" James said.  It was
then that James mobile rang.

"James Reed" James said

"Right can I phone you back in a few minutes I'll need to discuss this with
Alex's dad?" James said

James rang off and said "well Max that was the photographer it looks like
we need to think fast as one of the other models has dropped out of
tomorrows shoot and they want Alex to fill the place"

Max said "well can you chaperone him tomorrow or have you got a job on?"

James said "well I can chaperone him but that's not the issue tomorrows
shoot is swimwear do you mind Alex doing that"

Max said "well ok I will allow Alex to do this one and if I m happy with
the results I might let him do swimwear but I will not allow him to do
underwear"

James said "well this company doesn't use models for their underwear they
just show them loose".

Max said "ok well phone them back"

James phone Darren back and told him that Alex would be there.

James walked into the bedroom he shared with Alex to see the sexy lad was
