Julian Corsair – Chapter Twenty-seven – "One minute with him is all I ask, one minute alone with him, while you're runnin' for th' priest an' th' doctor." – (Sean O'Casey)

Pauley set the journal aside, his silence, and that of Ben's, was almost deafening! They waited patiently for me to react to the latest revelation of Julian Corsair's; his blood relationship to me. Finally, my stomach churning, my heart aching with love and loss, and my mind racing storing and retrieving information, speaking to them softly, "I guess I always suspected there was some connection or at least I hoped so; the way he looked at me, touched me affectionately, or when we were together, the manner in which people would ask if we were certain we weren't related somehow and Dr. J. would just smile in reply."

"I guess I'll have to refer to him as `Uncle Julian' now, won't I?" and choked back a tear!

Regardless of the fact we were related, I owed him so much more than just the inheritance he'd passed on to me. The comfort, the feeling of family, education, cultural exposure, and loving home he provided could never be paid back, but only passed on to someone else. He died knowing he had a family, personified in me, even though he wasn't able to reconcile himself with our extended family.

"I hope I can live up to his ideals and continue his legacy," I continued, still struggling trying to control my emotions, with a suppressed sob in my throat as I said it.

"Do you think you'll ever try to contact those relatives in Iowa?" Ben asked sympathetically.

"I don't know," I responded skeptically, "Uncle Julian had very little success according to what we read, so I'll just have to think on that for a while – only time will tell. Right now, though, I'm tired and want to go to bed with the man I love and am going to marry the end of the month." Emotionally, I was drained!

The next several days we hustled around finishing off the winterizations Pauley had left to do before he was done for the season. The last day of September, Friday, we traveled to Iowa City where we were to be married the next day. Ben accompanied us, intending to serve as best man. Tom and Rosa declined our invitation, but decided instead to spend the weekend with Gareth's children in Madison so he and Susan could join us.

The civil ceremony was simple but very nice. Ben, Gareth, and Susan all stood up with us; Ben just beamed with pride as we said our "I do's." Afterwards we all drove up to the Amana Colonies and had dinner at one of their famous "family style" restaurants. There was an abundance of food and we all had a great time. After dinner, Ben rode back to Madison with Gareth and Susan while Pauley and I took a trip up the River Road along the Mississippi River to La Crosse and spent a few days there. While there, we met with my accountant and my financial advisor and discussed Pauley's investments. It was a good decision to do so, since Pauley decided to diversify his investment portfolios, adding a tad more risk, but still retaining fifty percent in low risk securities and bonds.

We arrived home mid-week, found the house in good order, as we knew it would be under the capable care of Ben, and prepared for the reception Momma Rosa and Tom were hosting for us on the upcoming Saturday. Tom and Momma Rosa rented the Community Center hall and had a really nice buffet luncheon catered for friends and family. In lieu of gifts, we and they, requested non-perishable food products be brought so we could donate them to the local food pantry. Fox Creek isn't the most affluent community in the area and in the winter, with most of the resorts and ancillary businesses closed, there is a need. However, we did receive a nicely framed wedding picture, along with an album of candid pictures Susan had taken at the wedding, from them.

At home, the cottages were full, the spare bedrooms, and available floor space since all of Pauley's brothers and sister and families came home for the reception. It was a great time, but by Sunday night, when they'd all departed for their own homes, Pauley and I were pretty well worn out. We were so thankful and appreciative of our acceptance by his family and the community. I know there are families with LGBT children and communities with LGBT populations which aren't as accepting and tolerant. That's a shame!

Monday morning and Pauley didn't have to go to work! In fact, we enjoyed the entire week luxuriating in each other's company in a very intense, libidinous way, if you understand what I mean! Ben was in school all day so it was just the two of us. Once Ben was out the door, Ben would get that hungry, lusting, lascivious, animalistic look on his face, and his eyes would beg to pleasure me, his tongue would slip out of his mouth and caress his lips with a moistness and seductiveness that'd harden my cock instantly! His, on the other hand, would be upright, stiff and held in place behind his zippered jeans, until, with my assistance, it'd free itself and spring out in front of him lance-like, ready to joust in a tournament.

Whenever I saw that delectable object of my desire, I'd shiver with excitement for I knew I'd soon be the recipient of its soft hardness and fluid injection. Pauley pulled me around, my back to his crotch, and begin wiggling and jiggling his erection in between my firm, round, peachy butt cheeks. Once he disrobed, unleashing the jockey from constraints, I'd bend over and let him saddle up for the first of several rides.

If we are in bed, stripped for action, he enjoys (and so do I), placing me on my stomach and slowly tonguing his way on an erotic journey from that special spot under my ears, to my neck, under my arms, and down my back until he reaches that valley of delight. Raising my hips until I'm on my knees, his talented proboscis and lips bathe my balls and perineum with warm saliva until, satisfied I am properly stimulated, he spreads my buttocks with his thumbs, exposing that pink, puckered pocket of eroticism and with careful, moist probes begins to titillate it, bringing about an involuntary, hungry flexing of that special muscle that guards the entrance to heaven! His tongue, poking, prodding, and finally entering until his nose is buried in between my firm mounds, his lips sucking my anal ring, brings me close to, but not quite to orgasm.

It is at this point; Pauley will withdraw, kneel behind me, lean over my back and with a slow, deliberate, and gentle but intense push forward, began our journey to sexual nirvana together! Pauley's length is sufficient to drill me in just the right places, stimulating me to an ass-clenching climax which triggers his. I never fail to be amazed at the quantity of cum he's able to deposit in my inner core! There's nothing like having him climb into the saddle for a morning ride or anytime during the day or night.

Friday we wakened to a cold nasty day punctuated by a drizzling rain. October, although thought by most people to be bright and filled with color, can have those miserable, stay indoors, days as well. It was still misting when Ben raced down the lane after school after being let off by the school bus. He kicked off his shoes at the door, shucked his school bag on a nearby rug, and headed for the fridge in search of a snack.

"I suppose you two have spent the day reading poetry," he said, tongue-in-cheek!

Laughing, I responded, "Actually no; we did a few other things before we reviewed the last entry of Dr. J.'s journal. Your Uncle Paul and I agreed he really wanted me to succeed where he'd failed in making contact and reconciling us with the rest of his and my family. I still haven't gone through those filing cabinets of his I moved up here earlier this spring and I'm certain those reports from the private investigators are in there."

Those filing cabinets and his big desk resided in the small alcove, off of the living room, we used for an office and I'd been meaning to do through those cabinets, but for some reason, procrastinated.

"Next week we're going to see what we can find and maybe make some sort of contact with those in Iowa. Although, I'm not overly hopeful, they seen to be strange folks."

"Speaking of strange folks," Ben said with concern lacing his voice, "when I got off of the bus, I could swear I saw some guy sitting underneath one of the big pines across the road. Christ, it's wet and cold; why would someone be sitting there?"

"I think," Pauley remarked, suddenly quite concerned, reacting to Ben's statement, "we better check that out. Who knows what someone is up to?"

"Better be careful," I cautioned, "it may be someone casing the place for some nasty deed."

"Oh, I'll be careful," Pauley responded, "I'm taking Ben with me."

Ben didn't think it was near as funny as we did, but he put on a jacket and joined his Uncle Paul on the way out the door. I really was concerned it may be someone scoping us out for a robbery or something much direr. We hadn't flaunted our new-found prosperity, but it wouldn't take much detective work for anyone to nose around Fox Creek and discover more about us then we desired!

Waiting for them to return seemed like hours but in reality, it was only fifteen minutes or so. Pauley was the first one in the door and shaking his head in apparent disbelief as he said slowly, "Matt, you're never going to believe this; I'm not certain I do!"

Panicking, I quickly asked, "Where's Ben?"

"He's coming on the porch now with our visitor."

Ben walked in the door followed, not by some big, mean, ugly looking fucker, but a young male teen; probably five inches shorter than Ben, maybe weighing one hundred twenty pounds soaking wet (which he was), slim, narrow-hipped, small boned, almost delicate in some ways, and shaking, like leaves in a strong wind, from the cold. There was a familiar look about him. In fact, his stature wasn't all that unlike mine at that age, only this lad was far better looking and in need of cleaning up. He was pretty grubby in appearance!

He wiped the moisture from his face, stared at me a moment, smiled, and said, "You're Matthew Burroughs, aren't you!"

Somewhat taken aback, but I fired a round in his direction by asking, "That depends on who's asking!"

Thrusting his hand forward, he said confidently, "Zachariah Fuller, your cousin!"

"See?" Pauley said softly noticing my disbelief as well.

"Let's just say, for the moment, you are," I asserted cautiously, "but before we continue this discussion, you need to get out of those wet clothes and into a shower. Ben, take Zachariah Fuller to your room, collect his wet clothes, toss them in the washer and dryer, and have him take a shower."

Turning to Zachariah, "No offense intended, but I think it's been a while since you scrubbed and you have that `wet dog' odor about you."

After Ben led him down the hall to his room and the shower, I turned to Pauley and asked, "What's up?"

"That's what he told me too, but he also said he'd tracked you down up here after a neighbor in La Crosse told him Dr. Corsair died and you moved up here. Where he found the address, I have no idea."

"How did he get here?'

"Said he hitchhiked."

"Oh my God; how old is he?

"He told Ben he just turned fifteen the first of August."

Groaning, I walked to the kitchen and pulled a glass from the cupboard. "I need a brandy!"

"Make it two, please."

"Double okay?"

"Wonderful!"

Quietly sipping our Brandy Old-fashioned, I overhear Ben say, "I'll toss these in the washer while you shower." Moments later, Ben hustled down the hall, looking angry and very upset!

"Uncle Matt and Uncle Paul, you better come back here and take a look at Zach's back after he finishes showering."

Curious, we each shrugged, took a long sip of our drinks for fortification, and followed Ben back to his bedroom. Zachariah's backpack lay on the floor, the contents scattered on the rug next to it, along with another load of clothes for the washer Ben sorted out. Zachariah's billfold and a two gallon, re-sealable plastic food storage bag containing what appeared to be several maps, a couple of envelopes, a large tablet, a packet of pencils, and other papers he obviously didn't want getting wet.

The shower stopped and after a couple of minutes Zachariah, clad only in a bath towel wrapped around his slip hips, stepped into the bedroom. He was surprised to see Pauley and me sitting there, but made no comment. The look of surprise was soon replaced with anxiety and fear; his small-framed body began to quiver, wary of our presence.

Ben saw the look, stepped over to him and said quietly, "Uncle Matt and Uncle Paul would like to take a look at your back."

"Uncle Matt?" Zacharias questioned.

"Well, he's really not my biological uncle; that's Uncle Paul and they're married."

"Married?" Zachariah asked incredulously.

"Yeah, you know, like man and wife only they're man and man."

Motioning him closer to Pauley and me, it took little to confirm what we could see from a distance. Not only was his back and the back of his legs covered with black and blue striations, but his chest, stomach, and front of his legs were similarly decorated only not as severely.

"Drop the towel," I instructed gently, "I need to take a look at your butt."

He did as was instructed, but turned crimson with embarrassment! His nice, round, smooth, and small, but firm, butt cheeks were bruised as well. A closer examination of his back revealed several small scared places, evidence of more severe beatings in the past. I turned him around to examine his front. Thankfully, his crotch hadn't been thrashed. His flaccid, three inch, uncut penis, sprouting from a thin covering of pubic hair, lay comfortably over two well-formed, average-sized, hairless gonads which, because of his slight stature, thin legs and waist, gave the illusion as being larger than they were. One could say the same for his penis. Embarrassed, he covered his genitals with his hands and looked shyly at Ben.

I smiled at him, saying, "You look very much the same as I did at that age and we have nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. I think you'll probably grow some more." This elicited a small giggle from him and he moved his hands. He looked at me, then Pauley, and turned his head to look back at Ben. Ben's gaze was fixed on Zachariah's flaccid penis and balls, but swept up and down his body intermittently as well.

"Pauley, please get the digital camera, while I ask Zachariah a few questions."

Pauley quickly left for the living room.

"Who beat you?" I asked in as non-threatening a manner as possible.

"They called it `scourging'," he responded.

"Who called it that?"

"My father and our church pastor when they strapped me with their pants belts."

"Why did they think you needed `scourging'?"

"To drive the Devil out of me and cure me of my evil thoughts, actions, and desires," he answered, almost mechanically.

"Did you just let them do this to you with no objection?"

"No, two of my older brothers held me down on the floor, pining my feet and arms so I couldn't fight back or get away."

Ben growled, low in throat and barely audible, "Give me about five minutes with them and I'll show them `scourging'."

Pauley came back with the camera, so I decided to forego any further questioning until I could take some pictures.

"Why do you need pictures?" Zach (as he now insisted we call him) asked fearfully.

"Zach, the people who did this had no right to do so. It's one thing to discipline a child, but totally a different situation when they're beaten and physically abused the way you were. If the situation should ever arise, I'm going to make full use of the pictorial evidence I'll record today," and with that started taking photos.

"Turn your back to me!"

I shot a series of photos; full body length, including his bare buttocks, and close-ups of some of the more angry and severe bruises left by the assailants.

"Turn to the front." When he did, I could see his pole was starting to chub a little, the pink, moist head beginning to swell slightly.

"Here," I instructed handing him a sheet of paper, "hold this in front of your turgid tiger. I'd hate to have that stand up and roar while we're taking pictures."

"I could hold that for him," volunteered Ben.

"Hold what, the paper?" teased Pauley.

That really broke the ice; Zach started to giggle, so did Ben, then Pauley and me in turn. The situation wasn't all that hilarious, but our laughter eased the tension and angry feelings we had.

"All done," I announced. "Ben, why don't you see if you can find something for Zach to wear; I'll fix us some supper because I'm going to bet Ben is hungry and Zach hasn't eaten anything good for a couple of days."

It didn't take long for Pauley and me to put together a meal for the four of us. Fortunately, there was leftover pot roast with veggies I could reheat, plenty of lettuce for a salad, and Momma Rosa's cake she'd sent over the day before –"just in case we wanted something sweet."

Setting the table and putting the food out, I could hear two giggling boys coming down the hall.

"How do I keep these up? They're way too big."

"If you weren't so damn skinny, they might fit," chortled Ben.

"It feels strange not to have any underwear on under these."

"Well, mine just dropped down around your ankles and yours are still in the dryer, so you have no choice," Ben said, very unsympathetically.

The boys appeared at the table; Ben dressed as before and Zach attired in a sweat shirt and sweat pants of Bens. He'd pulled the draw string as tight as he could on the pants to keep them up (and that was iffy) and the sweat shirt just hung on him. God, he looked so small – and funny.

"At least the socks fit," quipped Pauley.

"Not really," said Zack pulling one pant leg up revealing a sock pulled almost up to his knee.

Once we finished our meal and cleaned up, we all went to the living room and once settled down, I said, "Now Zachariah Fuller, why don't you tell us how and why you came here, why you were beaten so severely, and what you want me to do about it."
