For the next little while, I couldn't have moved if my life depended on it, but gradually I felt my body return somewhat to normal and I watched Jerry as he clamed down from his explosions. "I don't know about you, but I'm hungry," I told him, looking at those beautiful hazel eyes. "How about if I grill us up a couple of steaks?" Jerry grinned and said, "Sure, I could eat a horse." We slowly drug ourselves out of the pool and grabbed a couple of towels to dry ourselves. All of our movements seemed to be in slow motion; we were just beat. Jerry packed up his gym bag that he had brought out and I grabbed our discarded suits and empties, and we headed into the house. After I threw our wet things in the laundry room, I slipped on my shorts that I had been wearing earlier and went to the kitchen to prepare us something to eat. Jerry had gotten his shorts on, and I noticed that they were the `regular' type, rather then the well worn ones he had worn when he first arrived. Since I had already marinated the steaks two days before when I was going to make them up for Dillon and me, I knew that all I needed to do was heat the grill and make a salad, and we'd be all set. Jerry helped me by cleaning the lettuce and veggies while I started the grill and let it heat. He proved quite adept in the kitchen and I was impressed. We had a good dinner and Jerry helped me clean up and load the dishwasher. "Well Blaine, it is after eight and tomorrow is a school day," he said as we drifted toward the front door. "Yeah, I know," I responded, "I have to go back to work too." "What kind of work do you do Blaine?" "I have my own software security company. We have clients all over the world. I just got back from Germany last week, that's why I had to go to the store and restock." "Wow, you must be doin' pretty good to have a nice place like this," he said, looking the place over. Then I saw him blush and looked sheepish when he said, "I'm sorry. That's very rude of me." "Don't worry about it guy, you'll get there yourself one day, especially the way you're workin'," I told him, giving his shoulders a hug. "What's your schedule tomorrow, if you don't mind my asking?" He gave me kind of a strange look, but then said, "Well, school from 8 to 12, but since I don't work tomorrow, I thought I'd go by the swim club for a good workout. Why, did you have something in mind?" he teased. "Now quit that," I scolded. "Not particularly; I just feel like I'd like to get to know you better, that's all." I watched as his face changed expressions several times making it difficult for me to read him. Suddenly he threw his arms around my neck and our lips met. It wasn't an especially passionate kiss, especially since I was so surprised, but I could feel a lot of emotion coming from Jerry. He pulled back from me and I could see that his eyes were moist, but he made no move to cover it up. "You're the first person who's ever asked me what I might have planned. Even my mother doesn't ask about me that way. She knows I can take care of myself, and I'm just pretty much on my own. I guess she figures that since I hafta put up with Jake, then I've earned the extra freedom. You're the only other person who has ever cared about me that way." "Jerry, I want you to feel like you can come here anytime, night or day, if you need a place, and please call me if there is anything I might be able to do for you, ok?" I told him, still holding him in a light embrace. "I will Blaine, and... ahh... and thank you... for being a friend," then he gave me a peck on the nose as his impish side returned. "But I really do hafta get home; mom expects me home on school nights unless I call her." I let him go, feeling suddenly self-conscious of my emotions at the moment. He reached for his bag when I remembered his wet Speedo. "Just a sec, let me get your Speedo. You'll need it for your workout tomorrow." "Nah, that's ok, just keep it here so I can use it next time. It's... ahh... it's last year's suit anyway," he shyly said, grinning from ear to ear. I suddenly saw that I'd been had... again. First, the worn cut-offs, then the tight Speedo; damn, he wanted to turn me on like that. `I've got a lot to learn about this guy thing, especially these real forward boys who go after what they want,' I thought to myself. "I really enjoyed driving your `Vette Blaine, and the swim and... and everything. The dinner was great," he said as we got to the door. "You're entirely welcome Jerry, I've really enjoyed myself this afternoon too," I said, looking into those deep pools again. I felt like I wanted to take him into my arms again, but I knew that if I did, I'd want to keep him all night, and that's probably not in the cards; maybe another time. "I meant what I said; if you need help, call me, ok?" "Yeah, I remember," he said as he opened the door. "I really appreciate everything you've said, and for talking to me like an equal." Then he leaned forward, gave me a quick kiss, and then headed out toward his car. I watched, fascinated at his movements as he got in, waved back at me, and then flipped a u-turn and drove off. I walked back inside, expecting the letdown that I had felt when Dillon and Garret left yesterday, but strangely enough, I felt elated, like I had just made a good friend. I haven't felt like this since the first days that I had met Cindy, way back in college. I went to the fridge for my usual beer, but then had second thoughts and grabbed a Pepsi instead. When I went into the living room, I decided to watch one of the several DVD's I had bought but never got around to watching. As the movie was getting started, I found that I didn't feel lonely anymore. I actually felt very thankful; I had three new friends, and their dogs for company, and they cared about me. I guess the correct word would be `content', for the first time in a long time. When the alarm went off, I rolled over and sat up. `This is strange,' I thought as I sat there taking stock and realizing that I didn't have my usual morning fog. As I was taking my shower, it dawned on me what the difference was; I didn't have my `usual' half a dozen beers on the night before. I finished my shower, got dressed, and poured myself a cup of coffee, thinking back over all of the things that had happened over the past few days. `Has it really been only five days since I've been back from Germany?' The thought hit like a freight train. There had been so many changes since then I could have sworn that it really must have been at least a month since I first caught Dillon in his back yard. As I was driving the T-Bird to the office, the random memories of Dillon's ass, Garret's mouth, and getting to know Jerry and some of his problems, gave me another hard-on, about the twentieth I guess, and I found that I really liked myself. At first, I was worried about the age differences, but if it doesn't bother the boys, then why should it bother me. I even feel like I'm coming to grips with being gay. Well, at least I live in central California, for Christ sake; what better place to explore this new part of my life. All of these random thoughts, memories, and feelings were all rolling around in my head as I pulled into my parking space, closed up the car against the scorching sun, and almost skipped into the building. "Hi Debbie, how was your weekend?" I said as I sailed past her desk and went to the in boxes to retrieve my messages. "Well, well, well, you're in a great mood this morning Blaine. What did you do; just corner the market or something?" she asked as I walked into my office. "Nope, it's just a good day to be alive," I told her as she walked in carrying a cup of coffee for me, which was her usual routine. "I had a very successful trip to Germany, and I've have a great five days getting caught up on jet lag. Soooo... how was your weekend?" She looked very perplexed, and I saw several different expressions cross her face as she formulated an answer. "Ahh... well... the same as always I guess. Bobby had his soccer game on Saturday and the twins had their dance recital; you know, just the usual mommy stuff." When she looked up and saw that I was paying attention, she looked behind her as if checking to see if she was missing something, then looked back at me with another strange face. "What?!" "Nothing, I was just enjoying you telling me about your family and about your weekend." When I saw another strange look, I followed up with, "It just seemed so `normal', like all the things I've been lacking for so long, that's all." "Uhhh... ok..." she said as she walked back toward the door, "I think everything's current in your in box, but if you have any questions, just holler." "I'm sure it'll be fine -- it always is with you handling the office for us, Debbie." I saw her take a double step, but she didn't turn around. I'd been catching up on phone calls and correspondence that had accumulated while I was in Europe and hadn't noticed that two hours had passed. I was startled when there was a knock on the door. "Come on in," I answered, looking up from my computer console. In strolled Dennis with that easy gate of his, baring another cup of coffee. I chuckled; obviously, everyone in the office knew I was hooked on caffeine. "How you doin' pardner; anything new on the home front?" "Yeah -- who are you, and what did you do with Blaine?" he said as he handed me the coffee and laid his lanky frame in a chair. Dennis is one of those people who doesn't sit in a chair but just kinda lounges into it. He caught me off guard, and I guess the look of puzzlement caused him to chuckle. "You've always been the stable one of this partnership, now you show up, outta the blue after a trip abroad, and shake up poor Debbie because you're not your usual gruff self; especially for Monday morning. Now I find you actually doing correspondence and... and cheerful, and it's not even noon yet." I had to grin at myself; I never noticed how much I had changed over the years. "Well Dennis, I guess you might say that I woke up and finally figured out that I had invested waaayyy to much time and energy in getting away from Draycor and setting up this place. I'm beginning to see how much I've missed out on, and I've decided to change all that." Dennis regarded me in his usual contemplative way while I sipped on the fresh cup of coffee. As I watched him over the brim of my cup, I saw a grin start, and then develop into a full blown smile that lit up his face. "You got laid!" he exclaimed. "Damn, we oughta send you to Germany more often." "Nah, that's not it at all. All of this came about since I've been back," as my mind raced over the last week of meeting Dillon, Garret, and Jerry, and all that had happened since my return. "I'm finding it kinda hard to believe that all this has happened in just the last five days." "Well I'll be damned," he said, "So when are we gonna meet this wonder woman that caused this transformation?" `Oh shit!! Now what do I do? Even though Dennis is gay, how can I tell him about the boys?' I must have blanched when he asked me about "the woman" because he sat up and just looked at me. I watched as comprehension finally dawned. `I guess I'm not gonna hafta say anything.' "It's not a woman, is it?" he said quietly, then his features hardened and he said, "I don't know whether to be pissed off at you or not. You've known I was gay since we first met back at Draycor, but you never said a word." He got suddenly and started pacing. "What's the matter? I'm good enough to be your partner, but I'm not good enough to share something like that? And another thing; what was with you and Cindy? Just a sham to `cover up'? How long has all this been going on?" I could see that he was building himself up into one of his rages and I needed to diffuse him quickly. "Since last Wednesday -- I just found out. Now will you please calm down so we can talk? I need to--" "What do you mean "just found out?" It doesn't happen that way Blaine; what's going on? Do I need to find another place to work? Maybe a place where--" "SIT DOWN!!" I shouted back at him. "I need your help." He was taken aback, but at least he quit ranting. "Please Dennis, please sit down, and talk to me. I desperately need your help to try and understand all this," I told him in a more conversational tone. He just looked at me for a moment or two, then came back to the chair and actually sat there -- obviously not the comfortable, relaxed person he was. "Ok, I'm listening," he said but his face was still hard and his body language told me that he was barely holding himself in check. "Dennis, I wasn't holding anything back from you or anyone else. Until the time I got home from Germany, I'd have sworn on a stack of Bibles that I was the straightest guy on the planet. But in the past five days, I've found that I've only been deluding myself and not admitting to my true nature... and I didn't even know it." I then proceeded to tell him practically my life's story, not leaving out anything about my wrestling days, the looks in the showers, and especially about Donnie. As I progressed, I saw his features soften, and his look become one of curiosity. "Well, do you still want to bite my head off?" I chuckled at him. "Ahh... no. Sorry about that; I just thought you were one of these people who were trying to pass themselves off as something they're not, and look down on the rest of us. I should have known better after all these years, but sometimes... well, ahh... well, there are just some things that really get me going. You said you needed my help. What do you need?" Dennis was very contrite now; almost like a little kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "I don't know what I'm doing. I know how I feel, and yes, I am gay, but I don't know what that means. I could really use your help to find out all about being gay. It just dawned on me that I've never met your partner. Ahh, you do have a partner, right?" "Yes, Michael and I have been together since high school. He's an investment broker for Billingsly and Company. And the reason you haven't met him isn't because I'm ashamed of him or anything like that. We just keep a low profile and keep our private lives separate from the work day world. Being gay is just a part of what we are, but we do have to live in this world, and there are so many homophobes out there, it's just better for everyone if it's not part of the equation." "Yes, I remember you telling me something like this when we were back at Draycor. I don't remember the exact discussion, but I remember that I asked some questions, and you answered me quite openly." I was trying hard to remember what had been said, wondering if I'd been a jerk or not. "That was when we talked about you being gay, wasn't it?" "Yeah, but there wasn't a lot of discussion, so it just kinda faded away. You weren't hostile or anything like that, it was just inconsequential, so I just let it go," Dennis said. "Frankly, you really surprised me when you approached me about leaving with you and starting up this company." I was astonished. "Why? You're one of the best programmers I know. Your talents were wasted over there, just like Pete was, and I was chomping at the bit so badly, Cindy suggested the start of this place. As far as being gay, like you said, it was inconsequential, and I just didn't pay any attention to that part of your life. I just kinda figured that you'd tell me what you wanted me to know, and just let it go at that. I'm sorry, I just wasn't paying that much attention; obviously, I should have... hehehehe," I chuckled at my own ostrich like behavior. "And even though I didn't see you has being homophobic, I just thought that it was best to keep quiet; more of live and let live. If I didn't bring it up, then it wasn't a problem. I guess we both had a lot of misconceptions about each other," Dennis said reflectively. "Well, maybe we can change that. Yes, I'd like to meet Michael. Maybe we can go out for a beer or dinner sometime," I told him, trying to salvage something out of all this. "Sure, I'm sure Michael will like it too. Have you ever been to a gay club, Blaine?" he asked. Now it was my turn to blush. "No, I've never been in one that I know of. I guess I could have and not known it though. Just like any other club, isn't it?" Chuckling, he answered, "Not hardly. Believe me, if you had ever been in a gay club, you'd have known it. It's not like any other place you've ever seen. Sometimes the goings on inside the clubs is what gives the gays a bad name in the eyes of mainstream society. Look, there's a good club that we go to a lot that's downtown on 21st street called Club 21. They have killer steaks and on Wednesdays they have a Prime Rim Special to die for. Why don't we make an evening of it and all go out to dinner? That way you and Michael can meet, and also see the inside of a good club and ask your questions then." "Dennis, you've really peaked my curiosity now... what's so different about a gay club?" I asked. "Trust me Blaine, there's no way in hell I can tell you about it. You have to experience it for yourself. I could never describe the drag queens, or the leather boys, the stand-and-pose guys, or the play-for-pay boys that are there. There is such a myriad of different guys there, you'll just have to see it all for yourself. Wednesday's a good night; besides the prime rib dinner, they also have a drag show and stage activities. Let's meet at the club about 6:30 for dinner, if that's ok with you," Dennis said. "Sure, sounds good to me. I really do wanna find out more about all this. I feel better about myself now than I have for a long time. I always knew that Cindy and I weren't in love with each other; it was just convenient at the time. We talked about it quite a bit when we finally figured out that our lives were going different directions." "Yeah, I remember that the divorce was quite amenable. None of the rest of us could believe how easy you guys made it. You both seemed to bend over backwards to make sure that the other one got everything they needed. And to top it all off, you helped her move and even put her on the plane for Chicago. You really are an enigma, Blaine." Before I could answer, Debbie's voice came on the intercom. "Blaine, Pete's on line two. He says there are still more problems in Denver. Can you talk to him, or do you want to call him back?" "No, I'll take it," I told her, then I looked up at Dennis and said, "Are we ok? Can we talk more later?" "Sure Blaine, everything's fine. We on for Wednesday night then? I'll give Michael a call," he replied. "Yeah, I'd like that. Thanks Dennis," and I smiled. He smiled warmly back as he got up and went back to his own office. As the afternoon wore on, I found I was spending more and more time thinking about Dillon, Garret, and Jerry. Then my mind flashed back to the first night when I caught Dillon being fucked by Garret. Damn, now I've got another hard-on -- about the hundredth time today. I don't remember ever being this horny; even when I was 15, I was never this bad. I new Dillon had a restrictive life, and I didn't want to cause him problems. Garret had family all around his place, but Jerry said he was gonna go for a work out at the swim club. I wonder... I grabbed the Yellow Pages and looked up the Central California Swim Club, found where they were located, and decided that I was gonna take the rest of the afternoon off. I cleaned up the papers on my desk, and started for my get-a-way when I remembered that I had left my keys on the credenza. When I went back in, Debbie and Dennis were both standing there looking at me, and I could have sworn they were chuckling. I grabbed my keys, told them both that I'd see them tomorrow, and made a hasty withdrawal. As I turned onto the Interstate headed to the other side of town, I started thinking -- probably the worst thing I could have done. `What the hell am I doing? He's only 16. He'll find somebody closer to his age to spend his time with. But what if he gets hit by Jake again? What about his mom? And he really does look good in those Speedos. And he said he and his swimming buddies are into giving each other blowjobs... I wonder what they look like.' My mind was in a jumble of mixed emotions and feelings, a lot of which I had no idea of how to cope with. But still, I kept driving toward the Swim Club. Suddenly I found myself pulling into the parking lot, looking around at the various pools and all of the gorgeous young bodies milling around. One pool was exclusively girls swimming and diving, but the other two and the diving pool were filled with boys of various ages. The small pool had young boys about 6 years old up to about 10, while the large, main pool contained from about 12 years old up through what looked like maybe 20. Most were wearing the same skimpy maroon Speedo like Jerry had worn, with the CCSC logo across the butt. I walked into the main entry, not sure of what to expect. I guess, since maybe I looked older than most of the boys working out, the nice young lady at the desk asked if I was there to pick up someone. "Well, kind of," was about all I could think of to say. "I was just really checking to see if Jerry Martin had made it by today. He told me yesterday that he was going to try to get over here for a workout, but considering his ragged home life, I just got a little worried about him." I noticed that her nametag said `Jennifer' and she replied, "Well sir, it's against the rules for me to give out any information concerning the members, except to the parents." "Oh, I see, well, I can understand that," I told her, quite disappointed. "Well Jennifer, is there any information that you can tell me? I'm just trying to find out if he's ok. He was quite bruised when I saw him yesterday." I noticed that she bit her lip, looking down at the computer screen on her desk. "Well... uuhhh... just a minute; let me have a talk to the director. I'll be right back," she said and walked into an office just behind the front counter. About three minutes later, Jennifer emerged, followed by an older woman, maybe in her forties, who walked with the same easy gait of the toned athlete. "Hello, I'm the director of the center. May I be of help? I understand from Jennifer that you were asking about one of our members," she said with a kindly, melodic voice. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause so much trouble. I was just asking about Jerry Martin. He spent the day with me yesterday, and I noticed several bruises on him when he went swimming in my pool. When I asked about the bruises, he reluctantly explained about his rather bleak home life. I hadn't heard anything from him, and he mentioned that he'd probably be coming here for a workout, so I thought that maybe I could talk to him and see that he's still ok," I explained to her. I saw a twinkle in her eye as she asked me, "Do you own an old Corvette?" Quite taken back by her question, I stammered an answer. "Uhh... yes, but... but how did you know about my Corvette?" Chuckling at my discomfort, she replied, "Because that's about all Jerry has been talking about since he got here. He's telling anyone who'll listen about this great guy that let him drive his `Vette, and how great a car it is. I know some of the other boys thought that he was full of it, but as long as I've known Jerry, I've never known him to lie. You made quite an impression on him, Mr.... ahh..." "Oh, I'm sorry; Mr. Rawlings, Blaine Rawlings. Jerry carried my groceries out one day and saw that I was driving a new T-Bird. We got talking about cars and I told him about my classic 1966 Corvette, and that he was invited to come over anytime and check out the car and maybe go for a swim. He took me up on my offer yesterday, and when I saw him in his swimsuit, I noticed that he had a lot of bruises all over his body. He was reluctant to take about it, but I finally got out of him that his stepfather was beating on him when he got drunk. I felt kinda sorry for the kid, and was just curious to see that he was safe." For some reason, this nice woman had put me at ease and I got the distinct feeling that I could talk with her. "I understand your concerns, Mr. Rawlings, and--" "Blaine, please... I've never been comfortable by the `Mr. Rawlings' moniker," I interrupted her. "Ok then, Blaine it is. Why don't you step through that door over there as I buzz you through, and I'll meet you and take you to Jerry? It sounds like we both have his best interests at heart." She reached under the counter and I heard a distinct `click', so I walked through the indicated door and waited for my escort. As she emerged from the office, she extended her hand, saying, "I'm Joan Andrews. I'm very glad to meet you. Jerry has been coming here for about four years and we've become quite close. He doesn't have a lot of outlets, but he seems to get along great with the other guys on the swim team, and some of them have kinda taken him under their wings, so to speak, and helped him when they could." We were walking along the central hall toward the two large outside pools. I could see boys in various stages of dress heading to and from the pool areas and the locker room doors. As we reached the doors to the outside, two boys that couldn't have been more that 10 years old scampered toward us from the outside. They hit the door first, and after whipping them open, started running for the locker room door. As soon as they saw us they abruptly stopped, getting wide-eyed at being caught. "Eric! What have I told you about running? And you too Marvin; you both know better. Maybe you both need a week off to think about it." I could see that Marvin, the smaller of the pair, was about to cry, when Eric softly said, "We're sorry Ms. Andrews, we won't do it again -- honest! Please don't make us stay away; we'd die if we couldn't come here," he said in the over dramatic way that most kids have of viewing the world. I looked up at Joan's face and saw that she was having a difficult time keeping a straight face. "Weeeelll... if you both PROMISE to not run again, then I guess I could be lenient this one time." Both boys were obviously relieved and smiles brightened their faces. "Now go get dressed before your parents get here; you wouldn't want to keep them waiting, now would you." "Yes ma'am... uhh, no ma'am... uhh, thanks Ms. Andrews," they said as they moved past us. I looked after them, noticing their cute little butts in the skimpy Speedos, and saw them start to "move fast" again when we all heard the barked order, "WALK!!" and the boys immediately stopped dead and looked back at us as we progressed through the doorway. "You know your kids, don't you?" I stated as we walked toward a set of bleachers under a canopy. "They're good kids; just hyper -- like so many we get here. Sometimes this is about the only place that the kids can burn off all of that energy, and so many of the parents turn this into a daycare center until they get off work and pick them up. Jerry was one of those kids, except he never had anyone pick him up. When I saw the bruises, I finally got him to talk, and he told me about the drunken stepfather at home. It got so bad at one time that I asked one of my friends who's a social worker for the state, to talk with him. He steadfastly held to the story that he had fallen off his bike when they were riding in the dunes, and there wasn't any problem at home. "This `friend' of mine took it upon herself to contact the mother and check it out further. The mother told the same story, but my friend could see that things weren't normal; the mom was scared to death. I guess the stepfather came home while my friend was there and all but threw her out. We didn't see Jerry for a week or so, and when he did come back, his entire left side was black and blue. I took him in my office and we just talked. He broke down and told me about the beatings and that he and his mom were trapped in a bad situation and couldn't call in the police because then they'd loose their home and livelihood. "I could see that this was a no win situation, especially with the father taking it out on the mom and kid, so I got my friend to just layoff. That was two years ago. I don't think much has changed, except that Jerry doesn't have near the bruises that he did have." "He told me that just as soon as he was big enough to fight back, he's been able to keep things to a minimum around his house," I told Joan, and she just nodded her head in understanding. As we were talking, I was surveying the fantastic scene laid out in front of me. About a hundred nubile young men of various ages were scattered in and around the two large pools, all scantily clad in Speedos, and seemed to be working on different swimming functions. As I watched, I started to single out older men who seemed to be instructors and coaches moving among this `organized chaos'. "Not to change the subject, but I don't see any girls around. Is this a `boys only' facility?" I asked her. "No, not at all," she chuckled. "Since men and women don't compete with each other in any swimming competition, it doesn't do much good for them to train together. There's another Olympic sized pool around the corner for all the girls. It's not that they're particularly segregated, and on free nights, when we have other family members in for a free swim time, then everyone's together. Oh, there's Jerry over there," she said, pointing to the far side of the pool at a gaggle of about 10 boys who were working with an older man who looked to be about college age. "He's one of the best free-stylers here, but he doesn't have the time to work as much as he'd need to become Olympic material. Jerry has kinda leaned on me for support sometimes, and we've become pretty good friends. I was really surprised when he showed up today, bubbling all over about this nice guy who let him drive his car. You've made quite an impression on him Blaine." "Well, he's made quite an impression on me too. Did you know that he's working all these hours to get his mom and him into better circumstances? He wants to go to college too, but he's very realistic about getting there," I shared with this nice lady who was also a friend of my new friend. "No, I knew he worked a lot, and sometimes carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, but he's quite introverted when it comes to his home life. That sounds like something that Jerry would do though; he's a very responsible and mature young man." `Hmmmm, this lady and I made very similar conclusions about this young man; maybe my feelings aren't as dumb as I first thought.' "They're breaking up their workout now; let me get him for you," Joan said as she got up and moved toward the boys. I saw Jerry stop and chat with her, then he looked back toward me and waved. I waved back and he moved away from the group, headed in my direction. "Hi Blaine, what are you doing here?" he asked, then lowered his voice and said, "Trawling for new stuff?" grinning from ear to ear. As I started sputtering an answer, he followed up with, "Don't worry, most of the kids here know they're on display and they play up to it." He was busily rubbing his gorgeous body with his towel, then bent over in front of me to wipe his legs, being sure to give me a great view of his ass. After he stood back up, he stepped over the first seat and joined me on the second row. "No, smartass, I was more concerned about you and whether you had any more bruises. Besides, I've made friends with you; what do I need all these other guys for?" I watched as his face went through a couple of changes as he thought, then suddenly he exploded toward me, wrapping his arms around my neck, catching me completely off guard. As pleasant as it was to hold his naked body next to mine, I was acutely aware of where we were, and eased him back to a sitting position next to me. "What brought that on?" Jerry blushed and looked at his lap as he said, "You're the first person who's ever come around just to check on me. You really are a nice guy Blaine. And no, there aren't any new bruises; Jake doesn't drink when he has to go to work the next day, so Sunday's are pretty safe. I guess you met Ms. Andrews." "Yeah, she seems like a real nice lady. She was telling me that you and she have become close over the years you've been coming here." "Yeah, she's great. She cares about all of us kids here at the club. Sometimes some of the rich snobs try to give us `poor guys' a hard time, and she won't stand for it. She tells them that their dad's money doesn't mean anything here, and she's asked more than one of them to leave. She even took me to her house one night when I was too scared to go home." I noticed this young, blond Adonis approaching and looked up. "Hey Jerry, is everything ok?" he asked. "Oh hey Tyler; yeah, everything's just fine. Blaine, this is my friend Tyler. Tyler this is Blaine; he's the guy who owns the "Vette," Jerry made the introductions. Tyler extended his hand and I shook a firm grip as I looked into his opalescent eyes. "Nice to meet you Blaine. Wow, that must be some car. That's about all this meathead has talked about all afternoon," he said, giving Jerry's shoulder a tap. I grinned and said, "Yes Tyler, it really is a nice car, and I'm just glad that Jerry enjoyed himself." "Well Jerry, since I didn't know who this guy was, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't trouble, know what I mean. I need to get changed; my girlfriend is probably pissed right now. It was nice to meet you Blaine, and maybe sometime I might be able to drive this beauty," he said as he started to move off. "Sure thing Tyler, and it was nice to meet you too," I said more to his back as he was moving rapidly to the doors. "Obviously you have a lot of friends who look out for you here," I said, turning to face Jerry. "Yeah, one time my old man showed up drunk to pick me up, and when Ms. Andrews said that she wouldn't let me go with him in that condition, he got pissed and grabbed me. Tyler and a couple of other guys grabbed him instead and showed him to the door. That was the night that Ms. Andrews took me to her house. Ever since then, several people around here have looked out for me." "Yes, I noticed," I chuckled, "I had to go through the third degree just to get in and see you." "Sorry about that," Jerry replied. "Nothing to be sorry about guy; it's great to have friends who care about you enough to protect you like that," I told him. "It's going on to 5 o'clock; do you have any plans for dinner?" "I don't have any plans at all `til tomorrow morning to go to school. What did you have in mind, dirty old man?" he asked with that impish lilt to his voice. "Actually," I knew I was blushing, "I thought that maybe you'd join me for dinner. I really do hate to eat alone and I like your company." Now it was his turn to blush. "And what about dessert?" Jerry was still in that teasing mode and I wasn't sure how far he'd go; I just knew I'd play along, no matter what. "Would you like to stay the night?" I asked. His face took on a serious note and I saw him glance around, then he leaned forward and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. "Yes," was his quiet answer. "Do I need to drag you into the locker room with me to make sure you don't find somebody else while I'm gone?" "As enticing as that might be, seeing all that bare skin and flopping dicks, I don't think I'll be going anywhere for a while," I said, looking down to the obvious bulge in my trousers that this exchange had brought on. Giggling, he replied, "Ok, I'll grab a quick shower to wash off the chlorine and be out in about 15 minutes. While you're waiting, look around and see if you can pick out any of the guys I've been with. I can see at least four right now, but then you've already met one," he said as he sashayed away, wiggling his barely covered butt back toward me as I sat there with my mouth agape at the audacity of this little tease. I looked around to see if anyone was watching, and trying to remember exactly what Tyler looked like standing there with water dripping off his tanned, young body. The number of boys had thinned, but there were still about 50 or so at various places around the pools. `Shit, you little snipe, I'll get your ass for doing this to me,' I thought as my mind ran through scenarios involving Tyler and Jerry and the four yet unknown boys in the mass of flesh on view.
