This story is my personal intellectual property and may not be reproduced in any form without my express written consent. This and all subsequent chapters are dedicated to my own Filipino Love. I want to apologize to everyone for the delay in getting this chapter out. I had the flu from hell the for almost 6 weeks and it really took it's toll. Just when I was ready to join the human race again, all hell broke loose back home with several family members, each with his/her own crisis. I finally had to make a return trip to the US to try and help get things settled, and it looks like everything is on an even keel again, although it took several months and a lot of tears. Now that I'm back home with my bf, it then it took me a while to get back in the writing groove, so here I am again. There are only a few chapters remaining in this segment, and I hope to get them out in a much more reasonable amount of time. After that, I WILL be taking a brief hiatus while I get my thoughts and notes together for part 2. I plan to write most, if not all, of it before posting so I don't have to have a delay like the one we've just ended. I hope I didn't lose too many of you, and again: I apologize for the delay. I'll also be getting caught up on my emails again, so those of you who have written but haven't heard back, you should be hearing from me soon. CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE Once everyone was settled in the salla with their drink of choice, I asked to be brought up to speed on how things went next door. When I started to ask Mr. Flores his thoughts about the pending projects, he politely stopped me. "Please forgive me for interrupting," he said, with a small smile. "My father is Mr. Flores. My name is Marty. I don't stand on much formality, since I like to work closely with whoever I'm working for, and titles just get in the way." I like this guy! "Thanks, Marty," I replied. "I don't like a lot of formality either. We're all on a first name basis around here. So tell us. What are your thoughts on the work needed? Did they tell you about the security measures we want done, too?" "They did," he replied slowly. "I must admit I was very surprised about all you want done with security, but once it was explained just what all your future plans were for the hotel, I can see why. I'm going to be very blunt with you...um, Phil?" I nodded. "This job looks like it will be more than I could do in the time you've said. And I'm not completely comfortable tackling all the security measures you want. I know it sounds like I'm talking myself out of a job, but if I can't guarantee full satisfaction from the start, it's not fair to you - or any client - to do otherwise. If this was a strict remodeling job, I would not hesitate to go for it. But, with everything else, well..." He shrugged his shoulders and smiled sheepishly. "I thank you for being honest," I said. "I suppose at this point I should tell you that I've already had Mark Constantino here, and he's agreed to take the job and can pretty much guarantee that it gets done on time IF," I emphasized, "he had more manpower. I told him I'd also be talking to you and Reynaldo Baldo about the job. How would you feel working with Mark and possibly Reynaldo? Since the scope of this job has grown, I now realize it will take more men - and women, as I understand - to get the project done on time." Marty started laughing. "The Devil's Trio, huh?" he finally managed to get out. "I have no problems at all working with either of those two and their crews. We've all worked with one another in pairs at one time, but this would be the first time all three of us would work together. If that is how you decide to go, then I can guarantee the finest quality work and within your time frame." "OK, that's great," I said. "But there's one thing you should know. Since Mark was willing to do the entire job, including the work for the security measures, I've made him the general contractor in charge of all the work. Do you have any problems with that?" I held my breath. "None whatsoever," he replied immediately. "Mark is actually the best one for that position, since he has the most contacts with suppliers. Both Rey and I go to him whenever there's something we need that we can't get ourselves." "I'm really glad to hear that," I replied, trying to keep the relief out of my voice. "Just one more thing. Do you have any problems working for gays?" "None whatsoever," he said, with a smile. "I kinda picked up on that earlier. And I'm sure Mark told you about both Rey and me and how we can each relate to the situation." "I appreciate the fact there won't be any issues with that," I said, not being able to keep the relief out of my voice this time. "So, onto business. Mark tells us that you'd be able to start right away. Is that correct?" "Yes," said Marty. "I just finished a job two days ago and am ready to take on a new project." "That's great!" I enthused. "It looks like the closing on the other house will be in the next day or so." Josie nodded, as I looked to her for confirmation. "I'd actually like you to start on that place as soon as the papers are signed, before the end of this week. How much notice will you need?" "Since this is a guaranteed contract, I'll alert my crew to be ready at a moment's notice," he said, with a smile. "Just one thing, though. You haven't asked what this will cost." "That's what Mark is working on," I replied. "He's working up the cost and estimates based on your "trio" and crews. It's always easier to subtract than add on something like this. I'm just hoping Reynaldo will come on board too." "Oh, don't worry about that," Marty replied with a snicker. "Having an opportunity for all three of us to work together will be to hard for him to resist. I think, from what I hear, he'll be done with his current project next week, so I know he'll be available. He never commits to a new job until the present one is completed, though." "Yes, Mark mentioned about him being done the middle of next week, but I have to return to the US the end of this week to finish up my teaching year and close up my house there. There are six weeks of school left, and I'm hoping to have everything packed and ready to go using the weekends. I want to be away from here as short a time as possible, hopefully less than two months." When I said this, there was a quiet sob from Ronni, and he quickly turned so he was facing me and buried his head on my shoulder, his arms wrapped tightly around my neck, now getting wet with his tears. I tightened my arms around him and stroked his back, soothingly, my own tears slowly coursing down my cheeks. I kissed the side of his head while my hand traversed his back. I heard a small sob from beside me and noticed that Josie was deeply affected by Ronni's grief at our having to be apart. Carl and Raymar also had tears in their eyes, Raymar, being as sensitive as he is, trying desperately to keep from sobbing out loud, and Marty had a sad smile on his face, as he witnessed Ronni's distress. "That boy really loves you," he said quietly. "You don't even know the half of it," Carl added, speaking directly to Marty. "I've never seen such a bond of love between two people as those two have. I thought Raymar and I were as close as any couple could be, but those two have really raised the standards. This is going to be a very hard time for Ronni, and I know it will be for Phil, too. But we have a wonderful support system here to help Ronni get through this, including his parents and grandmother. " "I think it's great that there is such love and support," Marty said, quietly. "Too many gay young people lose their support and their families when they come out. I simply do not understand what the problem is with some people who can't simply accept love for what it is, no matter who you love. Most of the world's problems are caused by a lack of love and understanding." "That is so true," added Josie, looking fondly at Ronni and me. "Well," I sighed, "this has gotten a bit off topic and kinda heavy, but I'm glad we talked about it. I really appreciate your understanding, Marty." "Thanks, Phil," he replied. "I'm glad we had a chance to talk about it, too. I can assure you that Mark, Rey and I, as well as our crews, have absolutely no problems with anyone living and loving in a gay relationship. And I can also assure you that if you do take on all three of us and our crews, you will be very pleased with the finished results." "I'll be meeting with Reynaldo in the morning," I said. "At this point, it's simply a formality. I just need to be sure he'll have no problems committing to this project for the amount of time it will take to complete Once started, it's going to be a non-stop race to the finish. I need this done as quickly but as thoroughly as possible. It would be nice if this place was finished by the time I get back, but the main focus needs to be making the other house liveable as soon as possible. That will be Carl and Raymar's home, and wanting the adoption of Eddy to go through as soon as possible, their home needs to take priority. If we have to, Ronni and I can manage in a hotel suite for a while, but Eddy needs a home now." A small sob escaped from Raymar, and there were tears running down his cheeks. Even stolid and stoic Carl was a bit misty-eyed. "You are such a blessing to Carl, Eddy and me," he finally managed to squeak out between sobs. "I don't know what we ever did to deserve such a kind and generous friends as you, but I thank God every time I pray for bringing you into our lives!" Ronni kissed my cheek and turned to the two men. "What you are doing for Eddy is such a good and wonderful thing," he said. "Phil..." He turned and looked me and blushed when he saw a slight frown on my face. Turning back to the others, he continued. "Phil and I," he emphasized, getting a gentle hug from me, "are blessed to be able to help with your new home. Besides, I'm really looking forward to having a new younger brother living so close. He is near enough to my age that I think we will have a lot of fun together. I want to help you give him as normal a life as we can." Yep! You guessed it. This brought forth more sobs from Raymar, who leapt from his chair and rushed over, wrapping both Ronni and me in a tight embrace. He tried several times to say something, but the gentle soul just couldn't get it out through the tears. Carl came over and took his distraught husband in his arms, gently kissing his tear-stained cheeks. He was talking quietly to Raymar, but I couldn't make out what he was saying, as it was in Tagalog. There was no question, though, that they were words of love and comfort, as the love pouring out of his eyes for his mate was almost palpable. Ronni turned back to me and rested his forehead against mine, gazing into my eyes with such love that my breath caught in my throat. "I love you so very much, my Phil," he said softly, as he brought his hand up and caressed my cheek. "I am the one who is truly blessed." With that, he gave me a gentle, closed-mouth yet passionate kiss that almost had me seeing stars. "And I love you just as much, my Ronni," I replied as we broke the kiss. "We are both blessed." At that moment, I heard a polite cough from across the room and suddenly was brought back to the reality that there were others in the room. "I apologize, Josie and Marty. We got a little carried away there," I said, blushing deeply. "No apologies are needed or necessary," Mart said, smiling. "I, for one, know that I'm really going to enjoy working with you, and I'm sure the others feel the same. I think we've covered everything we need for now, so I better head home before my wife sends out a search party." "Thanks for your time and for being so understanding," I said, as Ronni and I stood up. "I have a very good feeling about working together. I think, from what you and Mark have told me, that my meeting with Reynaldo will be more of an introduction than a business meeting. I forgot to mention it to Mark, but I hope both you and he will feel free to contact Reynaldo and fill him in. It will make things go smoother tomorrow. I really want to meet and talk to him, but it's going to be a very busy day for us, so any groundwork that can be done before I meet him will make it easier for all of us." "I'm glad you said that," Marty replied. "I'll call Mark when I get home, and maybe we can arrange a conference call with Rey either tonight, if we have time, or first thing in the morning. We can all do some "shop talk", which might get things going more smoothly and quickly." "That'd be great!" I enthused. "By the way, if you have your business card with your contact info with you, give it to Josie. She can call you once all the paperwork is done on the house. While you're waiting for her call, maybe you could start putting the materials together you'd need so you can get started right as soon as she calls. Even though we don't have a formal contract yet, I firmly believe that a man's word is his bond. Do we have a deal?" He grinned broadly and grabbed my hand, shaking it vigorously. "We have a deal," he said. "That's great!" I said. "I plan to go to the bank first thing in the morning and have a construction account set up with an initial deposit of 300,000. That should be enough to get you started this week. I'll add what's needed once Mark has the figures for the materials. That should be some time next week. I'm really excited about this project, and I firmly believe I've got the best men - and women - for the job." "You certainly do," said Josie as she came up to us smiling. "Here's my card," said Marty, reaching into his shirt pocket and handing the card to Josie. "Thanks," she said. "I'm really pushing on the timing on this. The good news for us is that the current owners are really eager to get this done as quickly as possible, and that's definitely to our advantage. It's possible we might have everything done by tomorrow night, but more realistically, sometime Thursday. I'll call you before the ink is dry," she chuckled. "Well, I better get going," Marty said, as he shook everyone's hand. Ronni and I walked him to the door, and with a final wave, he left. We went back to the salla a rejoined the others. "I hope you weren't too bored," I said apologetically to Josie as Ronni and I took our places on the sofa - he, on my lap, of course! "I'm never bored when I'm here," she said, with a chuckle. Then she got a very serious look on her face, as she rearranged her position so she was facing Ronni and me, one leg tucked beneath her. "I've known you for such a short time but longer than any contact I've ever had with any other client. I've always tried to maintain a professional attitude in my business, but there was something about you and Ronni that that was so different - that made me want to get to know you on a level I never have before in my business dealings. And when I'm in your home, I feel an almost overwhelming sense of love, and I know others who have been here have felt it too. You have welcomed me into your family circle without hesitating, and for that, I'm so very grateful. So I'm never bored when I'm here. I'm just happy and grateful to be a part of such a loving household." "I know what you mean about being able to feel the love as an almost physical presence," said Raymar. "I felt it, too, the first time I walked in the door. I've always had the ability to sense and see things that others can't, but the feelings I get from this house are so strong that even others are able to feel it too who might not normally be as attuned to such things. I've always been very sensitive and emotional, so maybe that's why I'm able to sense things, but it wasn't easy growing up. But I've been blessed by having a wonderful husband who loves me, understands me and accepts me just as I am." He reached over, took Carl's hand and kissed it. "Gee, it sounds like open mike night at the confessional," Carl said, and we all laughed, breaking the slightly solemn mood that had descended. "But I totally agree with what was said. This really is a house of love. I hope and pray that our new home will be the same." "I hate to go, but this girl needs her beauty sleep," Josie said, as she stood up. The rest of stood and got into a group hug. "See?" she said. "This is what we were talking about." She gave Ronni and me a kiss on the cheek, and after more hugs with Carl and Raymar, Ronni walked out with her to her car. Once they were out the door, Carl turned toward Raymar with a glint in his eye. "You may be one of the most sensitive guys I've ever met," he said, "but you are most definitely my MAN!!" With that, he gently groped Raymar's VERY ample package and threw a lip lock on him that even curled my toes! Ronni came back in at that point, and witnessing the passionate embrace of our friends, literally flew across the room and into my arms, planting his mouth on mine, his tongue demanding entrance. His momentum caused us to fall back on the sofa as we both tried our damnedest to meld our bodies into one, and our tongues dueling and our mingled saliva running down our chins. We were in our own world of love and passion, completely blocking out everything but our hearts and souls. I have no idea how long we were locked in our embrace, but I was brought back to the real world by the sound of a low whistle. "Wow!" I heard Carl exclaim. "And I thought we had it bad for each other!" Ronni must have heard him, too, as he broke the kiss and looked at me with a goofy grin, his cheeks reddening with embarrassment. "I'm sorry," he said, turning toward Carl and Raymar, who both had sizable tents in their pants from the combined effects of the four of us, I'm sure. I know my shorts were uncomfortably tight, and I could feel Ronni's hardon throbbing through both sets of clothes. "I've been wanting to kiss Phil like that all night, and when I saw you two loving each other, I just couldn't wait any more." "No apologies needed," Carl said. "But I think it's time for us to head out too." He looked down at Raymar's distended crotch and unconsciously licked his lips. "Please don't get up. We know the way out." With that, he grabbed Raymar's hand, and they all but ran out the door, Raymar's hand on Carl's bubble butt all the way out the door. In no time, it seemed, we heard their car doors slam, and they took off with a light squeal of tires. Ronni and I both cracked up at that and started laughing. "I sure hope they get home without a problem," he said, with a giggle. Then he got a more serious look on his face. "It really makes me feel good to see how much they love each other and how hot they are for each other after all those years." "It will be the same for us, Love," I said, caressing his cheek. "As impossible as it seems, I love you more every day." "I'm feel the same," he said, planting soft butterfly kisses on my lips. "And now, I want you naked, in bed, making love to me all night." "Sounds like a wonderful plan to me," I said, kissing him on the tip of his nose. "Let's take a quick shower. You get it started while I lock up and get the lights." "Don't be long. I really need you!" he said, as he gently grabbed my hard cock through my jeans. With a quick kiss on the lips, he got up and scurried to the cr, dropping his clothes as he went. I quickly got the house secured for the night and soon joined him in the shower. It was the beginning of a night of love and passion the likes of which I had never experienced before.
