Sadly this is the last piece of this story. Tempting though it is to continue adding to the series, I don't want to prolong it and lose its specialness. Unlike some series on TV that go on past their best before date. However, that's not to say that there may not be spin off's. I will miss the family greatly as I have written about their exploits, but as I've said before, they are a fantasy family. Nifty is a nifty service and our enjoyment does not come without cost. Epilogue Sadly, of course age is no respecter of anybody. It waits for no one and marches on regardless and so the Graham family had to face up to its consequences. The first big consequence of time passing was Miles 18th year and having completed 6th Form, he was ready for the challenges of university. John and Marilyn were very proud of him having achieved straight A's in all the subjects he had taken, English, Math's, Biology. They had advised their son to stick with three and get excellent rewards in them rather than do 4 and get lesser results. In stature he was taller than both his parents, but had kept himself slim, fit, and gone against the trend of teenagers sporting beards as soon as they could. He also vowed never to get tattooed or have ironmongery. In discussion with his parents and with his younger brother Jake present, they had all agreed that modern man, and women for that matter, seemed to be regressing back to Neanderthal ages. Covered in facial hair, (for the males), and tattoos, and ironmongery, the beauty of their childhood bodies was destroyed. It was turning pools, gyms, or beaches, places to be avoided for those who couldn't stomach the grossness. A consequence of this was that children were becoming much more sort after by those who appreciated the beauty of the pure and un-mutilated and perhaps had less than honourable intents. At university, Miles studied psychiatry and gained a BA (Hons), as he was fascinated in how the mental aspect of human life worked. In due course he specialised in juvenile psychiatry and counselling and became well respected in his profession. He managed to maintain a compassion for children, and developed an understanding of how children's mental health was being affected by 24 hour on-demand technology. Family-wise he stayed with the traditional, as from his professional experience, he was firmly of the opinion that children were best brought up by a married father and mother, just as he and his brother had been. Such families were more likely to produce off spring who were stable and well-adjusted to life's demands. It was quite a battle within both work and social circles to maintain such a stance. Miles married in his early twenties to a fellow college student and with Jacque, he had two sons and a daughter. For John and Marilyn as they retired from their full-time jobs, they delighted in being grandparents and having their grandchildren around. They considered themselves very fortunate to having their family live nearby unlike many grandparents who perhaps only saw their children once a year if that. Jake missed his brother very much whilst Miles was at university. When the family took Miles to university to settle in for his first term, when it came for John, Marilyn, and Jake to leave, it was Jake who was most cut up emotionally. Miles and Jake hugged for what seemed an age, and both of them shed tears. A new era was starting in both their lives, and Miles encouraged Jake to do well in 6th Form just as he had done. Jake did do well, and being the arty one of the two brothers, went on to study art and fashion in which he levelled with his brother in qualifications. Jake specialised in male fashion then concentrated on boy's fashion in his professional life. He was instrumental in reversing the length of boy's shorts so that whilst they didn't return to the shortness of the 70's, they were two to three inches below crotch level. The same went for male swimwear as he questioned why would anybody want to swim in curtains with so much unnecessary cloth dragging in the water. Carolyn became his wife and they had one boy and one girl, and settled approximately around thirty minutes' drive away from John and Marilyn. Joint naturist family holidays were held once a year and great times were had as parents, children and grandchildren bonded and played together. Memories of the holidays became all the more precious to John and Marilyn, as Marilyn succumbed to the modern scourge of Alzheimer's. As with many families, it was very distressing to see a much loved parent simply become a shell of their former lives. She died in her early eighties and John survived her for 5 years before passing on himself after a massive heart attack in his sleep. So for the Graham clan, life came full circle. Sadly, the quality of life in the UK declined as resources and infrastructure were stretched way too far to cope. Morales declined too as those who studied such things researched and laid the blame squarely at the 24 hour on demand society. The genie had been let out of the bottle and there was no putting it back in. Children knew how to get round any safeguards that were put in place and had access to violence and pornography freely. The experts knew that children were not able to process and separate the real from the fantasy at the ages they were seeing and using such material. (Just ask Miles). The LGBT and transgender movement added to the mix and confused them even more. No wonder then, that society degraded from generation to generation. The creator of the universe eventually gave up on his creation and pulled the plug. The Graham family all came to acknowledge the creator and when each member of the family passed on, they were reunited as a clan for eternity. So ends the fantasy stories of the Graham clan but then there are other stories to be written.....
