I doubt that anyone takes them seriously. I don't. Anyway, those of you who are not at least eighteen years of age, twenty-one in some areas, leave. It is against some stupid law for you to be here and we wouldn't want you to become a criminal. If you're offended by descriptions of gay sex you should also leave. Of course if you need something to get outraged over because you need to get your heart beating, go ahead and stick around. You might even find it. I have no answer for those that live in areas in which the reading of this story is against the law. I suppose they could move. They might even protest the law. Of course if they are good citizens they will get the law changed. That is the correct way to handle things and then they would no longer be law-breakers. The characters and their actions exist only in my somewhat enfeebled imagination. That means that the story is not based on reality so any resemblance to persons living or dead that you think you might see is an accident and was not intended. Please do me the courtesy of not posting the story on another site without seeking and receiving permission from me. Also please credit me for any quotes used from the story. Outside of that, feel free to read and enjoy the story. Well, I would like you to share all the riches that come your way from use of the story. Just so we're clear, share those riches with me. Sharing them with someone else doesn't count. Once again Don has come to the rescue. I don't really know how to thank him for his help. Just saying thank you seems inadequate somehow. However, it is all I have to offer him so I suppose it will have to do. Those who are reading this ought to thank him also. If you could see all the goofs I make, you would know why. If you see something in the story that you think warrants comment, go ahead and write. I mean what have you got to lose? You might even get an answer to such an email. As to whether or not you like the answer, that's up to you. All I can promise is that I try to answer all such emails. If you haven't received an answer, perhaps it is because you didn't put the story title in the subject line. I get so much spam that unless I recognize the sender or it has the story title in the subject line, it gets deleted. You can avoid that by putting I love Corey in the subject line. If you write you can ask questions, complain about the story, offer suggestions, or even just comment. Send such emails to fritz@nehalemtel.net Since I am now tired of writing the disclaimer, all that is left to do is to say I hope you enjoy the following chapter. Fritz *********************************************************************** I Love Corey, Chapter Sixty-three Well the week didn't get off to a very good start. The DA had told me to be at the courthouse first thing after lunch. He figured the jury selection and opening statements would occupy the morning. He was wrong. The Rev. Langston was acting as his own attorney and had managed to drag the jury selection process out. He dragged it out so far that it still wasn't done. Not only that, he showed no sign of giving up. So there I sat, waiting. I didn't even get to sit in the courtroom and watch, but instead had to sit in a room reserved for witnesses. Not only that, we had orders not to discuss the case and, there was one person there to see we did not do so. By the time the day was done they had most of the jury selected and the DA was sure things would get going in the morning so he told me to be sure to be there at 9:00 a.m. At least I didn't have to call Mr. Mathers because he was there, waiting with me. He wasn't a happy camper and neither was I. Neither of us really had all that much to testify about, but the DA wanted both of us to do so. The boys and a bunch of the neighborhood kids were raiding the fridge when I got home. Oh well, there probably hadn't been enough leftover sauerbraten left to make a meal of anyway. There was still enough left to make a couple of sandwiches when the kids all gave up on their raid. In the meantime I made spaghetti. The boys whined some about having to help chop the onions and peal the garlic, but they couldn't play basketball because it was raining. The neighbor kids snickered at the fact I made the boys help. They quit snickering when I handed them some cloves of garlic and told them to start peeling. It takes a lot of garlic for the garlic bread and the amount of sauce needed to fill the boys. It wasn't long until the sauce was simmering and the rest of the kids headed for home. Several of them said they had to get home for dinner. The fact that they had already had the equivalent of a good-sized meal didn't seem to worry them in the least. One of the boys was bragging that his mother was fixing lasagna and he didn't want to be late. I got the boys fed and started on their homework. Then I hurried to the hospital to see how Terry was doing. That was even more depressing. Most of the tests were done and there wasn't much that could be done. The doctors had recommended some chemo but said there wasn't much a chance that it would be successful. Diane and kids still hadn't visited and Terry was pretty sad. I finally talked him into allowing me to contact his and Diane's parents. Terry thanked me several times for the music and the audio books. He was almost childlike in his thanks. I was left with the feeling that he felt terrible about the way he had acted, but that he didn't know how to make it right. I knew I needed to talk to Diane some more and I wasn't looking forward to that. However, I didn't have time tonight. I hurried home and checked the boy's homework. By the time I was done doing that, it was time for them to go to bed. They were still a little tired after their weekend work. I couldn't believe it. It was afternoon before they finally managed to get the jury selected, and then there were the opening statements. I was told to come back tomorrow morning to testify. The DA looked like he was ready to bite nails. I'd already missed a day and a half of work and hadn't said a word in the case. I was now very tired of twiddling my thumbs, and from the looks of the rest of those sitting around, I wasn't the only one. The next day I was called just before noon. About all that happened was I was sworn in and the DA got started questioning me, drawing my story out. Then it was break for lunch. It only took a few minutes after lunch to finish my testimony, at least the DA's part of it. As for Rev. Langston, well that took a little longer. When the cross-examination started, it seemed like all the Reverend wanted to ask about was my comments at the school board meeting. The DA hadn't asked anything about those comments and only had me testify about the phone calls and the brick through the window. No matter how many times the judge told him not to ask about that meeting, the Reverend didn't seem to listen. They kept taking the jury out of the room and arguing about what could be asked. The afternoon finally ended with the Judge telling the Reverend that, if he didn't quit asking questions about the meeting, he would put him in jail for contempt of court. I don't recall answering one question under cross-examination. I never got a chance to with all the objections flying around. The jury looked bored when they were in the courtroom and the judge looked like he was about to suffer a heart attack. At least that was over, or so I thought. I was told to be available in case I might be called again. I finally talked them into letting me teach and they could call me at the school. The DA didn't really think I would be needed again. Here it was Wednesday evening and all I had managed to do this week was give about twenty minutes testimony at a trial. Mr. Mathers and most of the other witnesses hadn't even been called yet. However, I had the impression that the judge was tired of Rev. Langston's tactics and things would now go faster. I wasn't in the mood to cook, so I gathered up the boys and we headed out for Chinese when it was dinnertime. With six of us, it made ordering the number four family special perfect because we got all the dishes I wanted. The boys ate and ate but couldn't come close to eating it all. We had lots of leftovers for Dog. So far I hadn't found anything Dog didn't like. He was a little messy with rice but I had to give him an A for effort. The boys were doing their homework when I decided I needed to talk with Diane. After calling, to make sure she was home and had time, I drove over to her place. I got smiles from Jimmy and Cindy but Diane looked like she would have rather not seen me. Still I thought we ought to talk a little about Terry. I had made calls to both her parents and his parents and both had said they were going to visit Terry. I figured if I could get Diane and the kids to visit him, I would have done about all I could. Diane still wasn't fond of the idea of seeing Terry but she finally agreed that she and the kids should visit him. She was still bitter about how he had acted, and for a while I wasn't sure she was going to agree, but talking about how the kids might feel later turned the trick. When I pointed out that the kids would probably feel bad if they didn't at least get to say goodbye, she decided I was right and said they would go tomorrow night. With that done, I now felt I had done my best. It was time to get back and see what the boys were up to. I could hear voiced murmuring in the computer room when I walked in. I poked my head in and all the boys were clustered around the computer. I peeked over their heads and saw they were looking at some of the things to do at Disneyland. Mark's eyes were about to pop clear out of his head. He looked like he was about to spring right down the monitor's cable and look for all the things he was seeing. I think he was looking forward to the trip he had just learned about. Kyle even looked enthusiastic. We were just about to go to bed when I was served with a summons telling me to be in court as a witness for the defense from the Rev. What Rev. Langston wanted me as a witness for, I had no idea. However, I was once again supposed to be at the courthouse at 9:00 a.m. so I called Jerry and told him. I could hear him gnash his teeth without the need of the phone, and he informed me he, had gotten a similar summons. We agreed to continue like we had been. That meant we would show up at school and attend the morning meeting and then leave for the courthouse. At least I got to pick up the homework assignments and correct them while sitting around. Whatever the Judge had told Rev. Langston must have made an impression because the DA wrapped up his case by 2:00 P.M. However the Rev. wanted a little time before he presented his defense. He didn't get it. At least that's what I heard. Neither Jerry nor I got called before court adjourned for the day. Since the courts were only running four days a week, owing to budget problems, we were both told to be back on Monday. I was still trying to figure out what the Reverend wanted me to testify about. The whole thing seemed silly. He hadn't been allowed to ask a bunch of questions on cross-examination and I wondered if he was going to try to ask them on his own under his defense. I'd already told everything that seemed relevant to the case but I had no idea where it would go now. The more I thought about it, the more I worried. I wondered what I might be called upon to testify about. I decided to get in touch with Mr. Young and see what he said. A call to him and I was told to stop in after school tomorrow. The boys were playing basketball when I drove up. I got dirty looks for breaking up the game long enough to get into the garage. However the looks disappeared when I made them help pack the groceries in and they discovered the snacks I'd bought. A couple of bags of chips and some drinks disappeared as they headed back out to their game. The boys were filtering back in by the time I had dinner ready. It wasn't much, macaroni and cheese along with some hamburger patties. There was also the usual salad and veggies. Mark was doing better all the time. He was fitting in nicely and was now joining in the conversations although he still didn't say much. Kyle was another story. He still kept his mouth shut and looked worried every time Mark or one of the other boys said something. He couldn't seem to stop worrying that I would get mad and then beat them. The way JJ and LT were giving me hell for not having dinner ready earlier had him on pins and needles. I pointed out to JJ and LT that they didn't appear to have starved yet but that didn't slow them down. They continued complaining about how hungry they had been. I must admit I found that hard to believe, owing to the chips and drinks they had consumed. I listened a while longer and then told them that, since it seemed to be such a problem for them, maybe they ought to do the cooking. I followed it up by saying that they needed to make out a grocery list so I could have the necessary food for them to cook. Complete silence followed that. Corey was grinning. JJ and LT were trying to figure out what to say next and poor Kyle was horrified. Mark, well Mark was just looking around trying to see what came next. I followed it up by saying that if they did the cooking, they would be able to control when they got to eat and they would no longer be starved. My final shot was to tell Corey, Kyle, and Mark that they needed to tell JJ and LT what they wanted to eat as those two would now be doing the cooking. Then I just sat back and smirked. Corey got an evil gleam to his face. You could just see the wheels turning as he turned to LT. "I think it's my turn to pick what we have for Sunday dinner, isn't it?" I could see LT's Adam's apple bob up and down as he swallowed. He nodded to Corey. "Let's see. I think something like gumbo would be good, or maybe a cassoulet, or turkey and dressing." JJ's face fell. He looked at LT and you could almost see the thoughts flying back and forth between them. Corey continued, "A chocolate cake would be a nice dessert. Maybe the one with the whipped cream frosting?" I was having a hard time keeping from breaking out in laughter. I took a deep breath and turned to LT. "You better start on your list of groceries. You've got several suggestions for dinner and you need to work out which one you intend to cook and tell me so I can get all the stuff. If you decide on the turkey, I probably need to get the turkey right away so it will have time to thaw. I don't think there's much chance of getting a fresh one at this time of year." "Ah..." I waited to see if LT would say more. My patience was rewarded. "Ah, maybe... Maybe we made a mistake." "A mistake?" I tried to sound incredulous. "I thought you didn't like the way I cooked. Well maybe when I cooked. By the way what are we having for dinner tomorrow?" All the time this conversation had been going on Kyle was just sitting there frozen in place, looking like he was waiting for the world to end. His eyes kept flashing back and forth between LT and me. I know he was waiting for me to erupt and about kill JJ and LT. "Are you serious?" JJ asked. "Didn't I tell you that complaining about the food makes you the cook? I'm sure we covered that when you first started living here." "Yeah, that was one of the first things you covered," Corey stuck in. "I think we talked about that the day Jason got out of the hospital." It was too much for me. The sheer panic on their faces was priceless and I couldn't help myself. I started giggling and Corey soon joined me. When I finally stopped laughing, I took a breath. "Well boys, maybe you ought to watch your bitching. You knew it was late by the time I got away from the courthouse and I can only do so much. Complaining and bitching only shows your lack of understanding. If you were really that hungry you could have found something and fixed it." I took a few more bites and continued. "You know, no one likes to listen to a bunch of whining when it isn't justified. In fact, whining is one of those things no one likes even if it is justified." "We didn't mean it," LT said. "Well it sure sounded like it to me. In fact you two do quite a bit of it. Most of the time I just ignore it but you really ought to listen to yourselves sometime. You seem to forget the whole world doesn't revolve around you. There are four other people in the house and we all need to do the best we can to get along. Whining isn't the way to do it. If you find there is something you don't like, bring it up and we can talk about it but whining isn't the best way to handle it. All that does is piss people off. Think about it." We talked a little about the fact that we all needed to do what we could to help each other. Kyle and Mark just sort of sat there with their mouths open. I'm not sure they had ever felt they were part of or necessary to how a family ran. I tried to point out that only by working together and helping each other could we all get along. Whining and complaining would only breed resentment and make everyone unhappy, even those not the object of the complaining. We all needed to do our part and also to appreciate the efforts of the others. When I finished my little lecture, the rest of dinner was pretty quiet. Corey and I discussed when Bob would be over. I found out that Bob was coming on Saturday, or at least that was what he had told Corey. When the kitchen was cleaned up I chased the boys off to do their homework. When they were done we spent some time going over what we wanted to do over the weekend. Corey suggested we should go shooting. It had been several weeks since we had been to the gun club for various reasons and JJ and LT thought it was a good idea. Then we had to explain what we were talking about to Kyle and Mark. A quick check and I decided we needed to load some shells. Of course it went a little more slowly than usual because we had to explain everything to the new boys. However it didn't take all that long to go through a bag of shot. My bushing threw slightly light charges and we ended up with 362 rounds when the bag was gone. A bag was only supposed to produce 355 rounds. I thought about it and told Corey to open another bag of shot. With two more shooters we would probably need more shells. By the time we finished that bag, and had them all boxed, it was bedtime. I had an interesting talk with Mr. Young. We discussed what I could be asked about and how I should handle certain types of questions and before our conversation was over, I asked him to come to the court with me and signal to me which questions I should answer and which I shouldn't. He thought about it for a few minutes and agreed. I wasn't sure just where Rev. Langston would go with his questioning, but I wanted to be sure I had to answer before I did anything wrong. I wasn't sure the DA would protect my interests as well as Mr. Young would. I really hated to do it that way because, if I hit something that Mr. Young didn't think I should answer, I was afraid that it would start other people thinking. Still I was worried about saying something that would create problems for the boys and me. I hadn't really thought about what might be asked until Rev. Langston had decided to call me as a witness. After receiving the summons I was suddenly worried about what he would try to use as a defense. If he used what I thought he was going to use, I didn't think he would win but it could give me a lot of problems. The worst part was the fact that I had all weekend to worry about it, and only when the trial resumed would I know if my fears would be justified. There was not a peep about the fact that dinner was a little later than normal. In fact there were several compliments on how good it was, led by JJ and LT. Having escaped cooking it I think they were thankful to get anything to eat. They positively beamed when I thanked them for picking up the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. In fact my talk seemed to be having some positive results. I noticed the words "Thank you" were used more often, and not just to me. It's funny how often we forget that common courtesy helps make the world a more pleasant place. The use of the words "please" and "thank you" somehow seem to enable people to live and work together without as many arguments. Corey and I had just seemed to do that naturally, but JJ and LT had failed to pick up on it. A quick conference, after breakfast, and everyone got with the program on the housework. It went better and faster than normal and I made sure to compliment everyone on it. The only real hang-up was that the dryer only worked so fast. While we usually managed to do some laundry during the week, there always seemed to be a lot more of it to do on the weekend. We had it all done before eleven, except for the laundry. I mentioned that I was going to make a quick trip to Redding to pick up a few things from Costco and asked the boys if they wanted to go. A few minutes later, after they talked it over, they took off on their bikes to visit the mall and arcade, and I was all alone, heading for Redding. While the weather wasn't perfect, Dog really enjoyed sticking his nose out on the trip. It just blew my mind. I couldn't figure out where all the money went. The whole back of the pickup was full and I'd only started out to get some dog food, toilet paper, paper towels, and a few other odds and ends. Still it was all stuff that we would use. Perhaps if I'd quit going shopping, the money would stick around longer. I still had a few more items I needed to pick up for Kyle and Mark. Their laptops were supposed to be in next week and I had managed to pick up a TV and small entertainment center for their room today. It was the same model that the rest of the boys had. I suppose I could have just told them to use LT's because he rarely used it but that didn't seem like a good idea. I'd told him that it was his to do with as he wanted. Dog was happy to be home. While he seemed to like riding with me, he also liked being free to run outdoors if he wanted to. I moved the wet clothes from the washer to the dryer and started another load washing. Another couple loads of sheets would about do it for the week. Then it was time to start dinner. A nice big pork roast went in the oven. Once it was cooking I went back to unloading the pickup. I just manhandled the TV and entertainment center into their bedroom. Kyle and Mark could unpack it and set it up. Glancing around their room got me to thinking about the bed situation again. I had the time so I decided to call Judy. It only took a few minutes to explain what I wanted to know and even less time for her to tell me they both had to have their own bed. She was sorry I had misunderstood her when she had said how nice it was that the boys all had their own rooms. Now I had to tell Kyle and Mark and we needed to do some bed shopping. I was pretty sure that wouldn't go over well. However Judy did throw out one thing during the conversation. They each had to have a bed; nothing said they had to sleep in it. She assured me she didn't do bed checks. I had a few minutes so a little checking on the net should give me an idea of what was available. I had always thought of bunk beds as twin sized. A little checking and I found that there were bunk beds available that had a full on the bottom and a twin on the top. There were even ones that were full and full. A little thinking about that I was sure we could come up with something that would satisfy them. The boys all got home while I was in the kitchen. They caught me preparing some spinach for a spinach salad. In fact, I had the spinach washed and was drying it when they showed up. I had to hear all about their day. A little time at the arcade and they had decided to go riding. They had found a trail that ran under the power lines and started off. A ways out of town there was the remains of an old road that crossed the trial and led to an old homestead. From what I could tell there was an old orchard and a couple of buildings that had about collapsed. In one of the buildings there was an old car and a bunch of other things. They insisted I needed to go with them and explore it further. They had even seen a couple of deer on the way. It sounded like they had enjoyed the ride. Bob showed up and I finished dinner. We were having mashed potatoes and gravy, the roast, some corn, the salad and I had stuffed some celery. I also put the last of the pickled beets on the table. Watching the boys inhale mass quantities of food made me wonder if the bikes were a good idea. While they normally did a pretty good job in the eating department, tonight they did even better. Every time I glanced around the table, one of them was refilling his plate. Their idea of seconds, and even thirds, was not just a little serving. It was more like a full plate. All I can say is it was a good thing that the pork roast had been a big one. I was pretty sure the rest of it would be gone by the time everyone went to sleep. A few sandwiches would finish it off. Bob and Corey headed off for the art lesson as soon as the table was picked up and the kitchen cleaned. I called the rest of the boys into the computer room and showed them what was available and told them that they needed to decide what they wanted for beds. I included JJ and LT to see if they wanted to make any changes. A thought was going through my mind that if JJ and LT wanted to go for a room together, maybe I would have some addition bath facilities put in. We could enlarge JJ's room and put the additional bathrooms between it and the bedroom Kyle and Mark were using. Their room would also be enlarged. I would lose one bedroom but I could have another in the basement. The contractor was about half done with the shop so I could store most of the stuff, now filling the basement storage room, out there. Emptying the storage room would give plenty of room in the basement for a couple more bedrooms, complete with baths, if I wanted them. The idea of enlarging the rooms was a big hit. I left them looking at bunk beds, trying to find ones that had a queen sized bottom bed. I'd already figured out I would probably have to have them custom built but that didn't sound like a big deal. I went out and picked up the phone and called the contractor who had repaired the ceiling in the kitchen. Once in a while things work out right for everyone. Wally Johnson, the contractor, had just had a job cancel out on him. He was free for the next few weeks. He drove right over and I showed him what I had in mind. It didn't take him long to offer some suggestion on how to do it and what would work the best. Bob finished the lesson with Corey and came out and stuck his oar in. So did the boys. Wally was listening and making notes. We helped him measure the rooms and he made a few sketches of what we wanted. Finally he said he would go home and work up a plan and bring it over tomorrow evening. I finally got the boys to go to bed. JJ and LT had been talking about the way they wanted the bathroom that would adjoin their room. Kyle and Mark seemed overwhelmed that I would remodel the house for their benefit. Mark was bubbly and Kyle was stunned. Corey was grinning when I made it to bed. It was a cross between a sexy and an evil grin. I had a hunch that the rest of the evening was going to be fun. My hunch wasn't even close. It was a lot more fun than I had thought it could be. Corey attacked. His fingers were everywhere. He had me laughing and squirming all over the bed. I suppose I could have gotten away but that wasn't the goal. Instead I made sure to crawl slowly around the bed. That way Corey didn't have any problems managing to grab my ass anytime he wanted to. He wanted to a lot. Of course I always slowed down and let him squeeze a few times. After all, I didn't want to make it too difficult. We were both giggling and crawling. I decided that had gone on long enough. I speeded up to where he was ahead and I was behind. That way I could do the reaching and grabbing. The level of giggling went up and he slowed down a little. A few more trips around the bed and it was a total mess. The sheets were pulled loose and the covers on the floor, and neither of us seemed to care about that. I finally tackled him and just hung on. His ass cheeks were right in front of my nose. Those cheeks looked so good I had to kiss them a few times. Well, actually I kissed them more than a few times. As near as I could tell Corey didn't mind. In fact he seemed to stick his ass up so it would be easier for me to kiss it. He wasn't real successful because I had his legs in a death grip and was laying on them. I did observe that the holding and kissing didn't seem to stop the giggling. After enough kisses I decided I needed to move on up and do my kissing. I really liked his ass but there were two lips that I liked to kiss just waiting for me. Corey took pity on me and just waited for me to crawl up alongside of him. I rolled him onto his back and got real serious about the kissing. Somehow the giggling was no longer necessary. We were too busy, probing with our tongues, to take time to giggle. You know how it is. You can only do so many things at once. In the case of kissing, that really made it difficult to do anything else and for some reason I seemed to lose the ability to think when I was kissing Corey. All I could do was enjoy the moment. His tongue tasted so good. Corey shifted back to offense. He rolled me on my back and then proceeded to really kiss me. His tongue was insistent. Of course I didn't resist all that much. After all, I liked it just as much as Corey did. By now the giggling was totally forgotten. We took turns kissing and nibbling. A few sighs were about the only sounds that could be heard. Of course it didn't take long before my hands found those ass cheeks I had just been kissing. I immediately started squeezing and kneading them. It wasn't long until there were more sounds than just the sighs. A few groans soon joined the sighs. Not only that, he was starting to respond to that kneading. He was now thrusting against me. They were just gentle little thrusts but I knew that they would lead to more intense ones. Still I really like the feel of his muscles as they flexed in that cute butt. All of a sudden Corey pulled away. He squirmed down and started nibbling at my nipples. Oh God. It felt really good. Now Corey was in complete charge. I could hear some strange sounds as he continued nibbling. When he worked his way to my armpits, the strange sounds picked up. I wondered where those sounds were coming from because they sure didn't sound like Corey. Still I was enjoying his efforts far too much to really think about it. It was just going to have to remain one of those mysteries that are never solved. I couldn't think about it at this time. All I could do was enjoy the feelings going through me. From somewhere deep inside a need arose. Acting on it I rolled him over and started licking and kissing. I have no idea why I did that, just that I had to. It wasn't something I thought about, just something that I suddenly did. His body writhed as I started at his nipples and worked my way down. There were some far off sounds that I was faintly conscience of but I was too busy to even try to think of where they came from or what they meant. I could taste the faint saltiness that came from his perspiration. His body was warm and he kept squirming around as I found all those places I really liked to lick and kiss. Then I found a couple of orbs. They were nestled just below my favorite part of Corey. They had grown. I could no longer get both of them into my mouth at the same time but that didn't stop me from working on them one at a time. I could hear the Corey sounds getting louder but my mind wasn't really hearing what they were, only that they were present. I slowly mouthed those orbs and could feel him shudder, kind of like a flag snapping in the wind. There was no real pattern, just a series of twitches and jerks. Those sounds were now louder and higher pitched. I could no longer wait. I wanted what was rightfully mine. There it was, waiting for me. I opened my mouth and it slipped inside. It felt almost hot but tasted just right. A few swirls of my tongue and I could feel Corey's hands at that back of my head, hanging on to my hair as he bucked and thrust under me. The noises were even louder but they were unimportant. What was important was that which was in my mouth and the delicious nectar flowing from it. That nectar came in pulse after pulse after pulse. I was now content. Suddenly the sounds were gone. All that was left was some panting. His hands were no longer grasping my hair. I was filled with kind of a warm fuzzy glow. I know, there should be a better way to describe it but that is about the best I can do. I just wanted to stay that way forever. When I finally got myself back together and started to move up so I could kiss him, I noticed that there was a cold wet spot on the sheets. I'd been so busy making love to Corey I hadn't even noticed making that spot. Oh well, we could wash the sheets in the morning. For now all I wanted was him in my arms. It just didn't get any better than this. I'm going to kill JJ and LT. No I really mean it. Slowly and painfully. Everything was fine until we sat down to eat breakfast. JJ started it. First he made some giggling sounds, but they weren't like his normal giggle. Then LT joined in, except he wasn't giggling. He was making some different sounds. About that time I realized what those sounds resembled. My face got hot. Corey's face turned bright red. About then those two started laughing like hyenas. I'm sure any jury would acquit me. It would be justifiable homicide. It would only take a few parents on the jury to reach such a decision. To make it even worse, Kyle and Mark joined in the laughter. At least Dog had the decency not to laugh. He did give a couple of soft woofs though. After that, neither Corey nor I said much during breakfast. At least the snickering had stopped by the time we headed for church. It took a few minutes to get all the ties properly tied but the boys looked nice. I don't know why but it always seemed to me that you ought to look nice when you go to church. Maybe it's to show you have respect for God or something, but I didn't listen to their whining and made them wear their ties and long sleeved shirts under their blazers and sport coats. I was sure any adult would be proud to be seen with them. I had to coach Kyle and Mark through the service because this was the first time they had attended. In fact, I think it was the first time they had ever attended a church of any kind. When the service was over, I had to introduce them to Fr. George and several other members of the congregation. Even with that delay they seemed to get their share of the refreshments. When I thought they had gotten enough refreshments to keep them alive until we got home, we left. A quick change of clothes and we were off for the gun club. I sent JJ, LT, and Corey off to shoot practice rounds. They were now to the stage where they needed practice and could do so without me looking over their shoulder. Later on I would watch them for a few shots and make sure they were still doing everything correctly. I worked with Kyle and Mark. The biggest problem was coming up with a shotgun short enough for Mark. Kyle was big enough to shoot mine so that wasn't a problem but Mark still hadn't grown enough. There happened to be an 1100 Remington for sale that had a cut down stock and I didn't even quibble. It probably wasn't worth quite as much as I paid for it but it was short enough for Mark. A bunch of duct tape on the cheek piece and he was in business. I suppose they were about like the average beginning shooter. They were pretty disappointed with their first efforts, but I told them not to worry about it, they were doing fine. After a while the rest of the boys showed up and watched for a while and then we all went in and got a burger. Well, I just had a burger but the boys all had to have fries with theirs. With the other boys telling them about their first time shooting, Kyle and Mark started to believe me when I told them they were doing fine. After the burger it was back out to continue the lesson. A while later I decided that Kyle and Mark had reached the end of their ability to learn for the day. A person can only learn about so much and then you need to take a break to allow it to soak in and they had clearly reached that point. Neither had ever used a firearm before and the nervous strain was getting to them, causing their scores to start back down. We all wandered over to where the fun shoots were going on. The next thing I knew I was in a "backer-upper" with Corey. We didn't win but we had fun. Then JJ and LT shot in the next one. Neither had really learned to shoot second, so they didn't manage to pick up any of the first shooter's misses, but they enjoyed it. I could see I was going to have to work with them a little on shooting second. You have to get a lot further under the target when it starts to drop. I was pretty sure the boys were over-shooting the target. They still had a lot to learn. Dog was glad when we got home. He didn't really like all the noise at the gun club so I had left him at home. We all had to participate in his belly rub before he would leave us alone. I swear that animal would let us spend all our time scratching and rubbing his belly. Wally showed up and we discussed what he had planned. He said that it wouldn't be very difficult because of the full basement. That would make the plumbing a snap, and he suggested leaving tubs out of the boys' bathrooms and only going with showers because that way there would be more room and they could have the fancy showers they wanted. There would still be one tub upstairs and another down besides the one in my bathroom. The closets wouldn't be quite as big as they now were but they had been huge so that didn't look like a problem. He wanted to get started tomorrow so we agreed to clear the boy's things out. He figured he could do the whole job in about three weeks and that included the downstairs, however he was going to start upstairs first. That way one pair of the boys could use the sex room as a bedroom while the construction was going on. After Wally left, we talked about where everyone would sleep while all the work was going on. JJ and LT would sleep in Corey's room because that was the only one that would not be torn up, outside of mine. Kyle and Mark would sleep in the sex room, and of course, Corey would continue to sleep with me. Dog might be a little confused for a few days but I was sure he could handle it. It really didn't take all that long to get everything out of the bedrooms so Wally could start. Granted there were some piles of things in the family room but it wasn't too bad. Next weekend we would have to remove all the stuff stored in the basement, but the shop should be done by mid-week so it looked like everything would work out fine. The shop was forty-by-sixty and would have plenty of room for the trailer and everything else I had. I would even be able to get some of the stuff out of the garage. There was just barely room for the Gator and the pickup. The boys had to take their bikes up to the overhead storage room in it. I wasn't in the mood to cook, so after a little discussion, we headed over to Italian Surprise. I had to chuckle when Mark decided to have pizza. The look on his face, when the pizza showed up, was priceless. His mouth fell open as he eyed that great big pizza. Kyle was about the same. The rest of us had selected other things ranging from Seafood Cannelloni to Chicken Parmigiana. One thing I didn't have to worry about, the boys were full well before they could clean their plates. My Cannelloni was delicious. The only thing wrong was I didn't feel like I could order wine. While Kyle and Mark weren't really used to wine with their meals, the rest of the boys were and it would be cruel to have wine when they couldn't. Mark only made it through about half of his pizza and Kyle didn't do that much better. We asked for the usual doggy bags and headed home. Dog scarfed down his share like he was starving. I had some doubts about the starving part because of the number of hotcakes he had eaten at breakfast. He had even conned LT out of a couple of link sausages to go along with those hotcakes. Dog's big brown eyes seemed to work pretty well on all of us. He would just put his muzzle on your leg and let those eyes work until you just had to share with him. His head would just keep getting heavier and heavier until you had to look at those eyes and then you were a sitting duck. He won every time. I just couldn't believe it when the boys wanted popcorn to go with the movie they were watching. Where they put it I don't know but soon the bowl was empty. However, they didn't eat any ice cream. We were headed for bed when JJ asked if he needed to wear earplugs. Maybe I'll sneak into his room in the middle of the night and kill him. I can almost feel his neck in my grasp. I can imagine it yielding to my straining fingers. To be continued...
