It was made worse because I could never go into a witness box. If I was asked the question concerning my relationship with Roley we would be sunk. John guessed, we thought, because he engineered it that I had to appear at a hearing. Ann knew as well as I did that this would finish both of us and kill Roley. She did the only thing she knew would work. Threaten John with a divorce and the promise he would never see Sean again and as soon as Roley was sixteen, if he lived that long, he would never see him again either. I added my two cents worth. "If you go ahead with this John, and anything happens to Roley while I am in prison, I swear, as God is my witness that I will spend the remainder of my life in prison because I will hunt you down, wherever you are in the world and kill you." I must have sounded convincing, or the thought of being alone wasn't very palatable, because the next morning my lawyer called and told me John had withdrawn all his objections. Roley was given into my care temporarily. That is until he was sixteen, only a few months away now. When I went to tell him, that was the final piece needed to make him well. He was released into my care a few days after the non event court case. We picked up all his things from the house and worked out a visiting programme for Ann. Sean heard and I had another happy boy. Roley just continued to look better for months after he moved in with me. He went back to school and started sailing again, but he never raced. "I did it for you Cain, but I won't again." I kissed him on the nose, hugged him and told him, "As long as you still love me, and I find you in my bed every morning I don't care what you do." Sean started coming round to the house, very often at the same time as Ann, so we played happy families. Sean's advanced certificate results had been good and he decided he wanted to go to university, but had no way of financing it. Ann sorted that one. "Your father will finance your time at university Sean as he will do Roley when the time comes." I would have sorted Roley, but it would be nice to keep the money in my bank instead. The next development was Sean splitting with his girlfriend and becoming homeless. "Roley, I would be quite happy for Sean to take a spare bedroom here to keep his things, and to live during his holidays from Uni. but you would have to tell him about us first." "I'll think about it Cain." Crafty little bugger, he let Sean bum around, sleeping a few nights here and there with friends, until his sixteenth birthday, then he invited him to the house for a specific talk. "Sean, Cain and I have talked about it and wondered if you would like to make this your home until you go to Uni. and then have this as your base when you are on holiday." Sean was delighted, he had missed having a stable home, he was too much of a home boy to enjoy his nomadic life. An enthusiastic yes made Roley serious in his next speak. "In that case you will have to understand that Cain and I share the same bedroom." I thought that was a very diplomatic way of putting it. He laughed before replying. "Do you remember the day, what, almost two years ago, when we had the problem with the safety boat engine?" Roley and I looked at each other. "Yes", he said "Well it was after that day that I saw the change in you that made me think something was going on. I watched and it wasn't long before it clicked. I could see from the way you looked at each other that you were in love, and then you started performing at the racing and I knew you were only doing it because you loved Cain. I don't mind at all. I love you both and I think you are perfect together." I was totally amazed, I was now forty years old and Roley was sixteen, but here was his eighteen year old brother totally happy with us being lovers. Well, he moved in the next day. We gave him the bedroom furthest away from ours so that he wouldn't hear us making love, not that we were particularly noisy. We were now, and had always been gentle lovers having amazing orgasms but not noisy ones. That also heralded a move from Roley. "Cain, I don't think I am ever going to be happier than I am today, apart from one thing." I looked at him, wondering what was coming. "Our lovemaking is fabulous. You show me every time how much you love me, but now, will you make me totally yours by having anal intercourse with me tonight?" My eyes watered as I looked at this boy that I had loved almost unconditionally since he was twelve years old. Very seriously and quite quietly I replied. "I would deem it a great honour to take your anal virginity. I love you so much I know I will never have a better experience in my life than doing that to you." He was as big as me now but he still came across the room and sat in my lap before planting a kiss on my lips that had me gasping. "I didn't know it was possible to have so much love lavished on me as I have this last four years. This act will seal our love forever." It did and I will tell you about it in the next chapter. In the meantime we had Sean to sort out. We hadn't realised how badly he had taken the break up with his girlfriend. They had been together since he was sixteen and he was thinking in terms of marriage after he had his degree. Once he was settled into my house that first day I suppose it hit him again. He could see how happy Roley and I were, the house was extremely comfortable and welcoming and I suppose it caused an emotional overload. We could hear him sobbing and Roley wanted to go to him. "Come with me Cain. He will probably need some cuddles and you do that so much better than me." I smiled at that. When Roley got one of my cuddles it had a lot to do with touch, over quite private parts of his body. "I don't think you will want me to give him one of the cuddles I give you." He clicked immediately. "Well, no, but as close as you can without making me jealous." So, we did. We sat either side of him as he sat sobbing on his bed. I took him in my arms and started stroking his head and face gently, asking him what was wrong. Roley was stroking his back and kissing his cheek. He sobbed out a reply. "I am so lonely, it's so much worse for me being here and seeing how much in love you two are, but I don't want to go anywhere else." I could see his point, Roley and I had so much love for each other, we never argued or even had minor disagreements. Our life together was as idyllic as it was possible to be. Away from school and work, we did everything together, and he never appeared worried that there were seldom any boys of his own age around, except when we sailed. I often wondered when he would want to do the things other teenagers did, and guessed he would spread his wings when he went to University and was away from me for long spells. That worried me a little as I could imagine him finding a new love his own age, but I never voiced those concerns. I knew that the six years I would have had with him were more than I could ever have dreamt possible. He had been my life, and to lose him would be devastating, but at my age, I guessed I would weather that storm and hope to remain friends with him. Now though, we had to sort out Sean. Before Roley moved in with me I had quite an active social life where there were nearly always the teenage children of friends. I thought the answer might be to resume that life and integrate Sean and Roley into it. "I think what we might do then is all of us spread our wings socially. I'm not going to try matchmaking Sean, but why don't we start going to the yacht club BBQs and other social events organised by them and my company?" Sean looked a little bemused and when I looked at Roley he grinned. He had clicked immediately that what I was going to do was what I had said I wouldn't, match make. I explained to Sean that because he hadn't done any socialising since breaking up with his girlfriend he was naturally lonely. Luck shone on us very quickly. We turned up at the next beach BBQ that the yacht club did and there were a large number of teenagers. Some junior members and some offspring of members. It was a good mix and Roley took Sean to join in their activities. I was able to circulate and renew acquaintances that I had neglected for a long time, being so wrapped up in my love for Roley. "Cain, good to see you back in circulation again," became a common comment, and my reply was the same, "Well I have been terribly wrapped up in the youth programme, but thought it was time I socialised again." Everybody knew that I had dedicated the last few years to the dinghy programme, and how successful it had been so it didn't appear to be odd. By the time the evening ran down I had re-established my credentials as a member and the boys had obviously enjoyed themselves judging by the conversations on the way home. "You are so clever Cain, I had a great time and I have a date for tomorrow night." Sean was glowing as he said it and Roley looked at me and grinned. I just wish every problem could be solved that easily. The new girlfriend proved to be a bonus in many ways. She was at the same university as Sean and loved sailing, so I saw her with Sean at dinghy sessions quite frequently and he had dates whenever his work programme allowed. I did slip him some spending money occasionally, but he was a good lad and worked at any job he could get to build his college spending fund. Of course his tuition, accommodation, and books, etc. were all paid for by his father, but he needed spending money as well and we had agreed that he would not seek employment during college time because we wanted him to have a good degree so studying came first. More brownie points for me with my lover, not that I really needed them. Our life with the dinghy programme became more interesting as well. Roley wouldn't race, but he started teaching other youngsters racing techniques and rules, he was easily the best, and in some ways I was sad that he had not realised his potential in that field, but he was totally alien to racing, inbred I suppose because of his father's attitude.
