Justin left the living room nervously, but went all the way to Konrad's bedroom. The door was open and Justin could see Konrad laying there in only his soggy diaper, reading. He knocked softly on the door, and Konrad looked up.

“Hey buddy, what's up?”

“Um, can I come in, I wanna ask you something?”

“Sure, come on in.” Konrad said, sitting up and patting the bed, telling Justin to go ahead and sit down.

“Thanks.” He said as soon as he sat down.

“So, what would you like to ask?”

“Um, I'm sorta embarrassed to be doing this, but do you like me?”

“Yes.”

“Do you like me in a way my dad wouldn't approve of?”

“There's nothing to be scared of. First things first though, if you want to be boyfriends, I'm okay with that, but we go at your pace, nothing more, nothing less. “No worries there.” Justin said.

“Come have some tea, then we can figure out breakfast, and then we all need to go for diaper changes. I for one need a good diaper change, so you two can have a good diaper change of your own.” Jon grinned.

“Okay.” Justin said brightly.

They sat down and joined the two boys in their tea, and while they drank, they decided what to do for breakfast. They got up and made that, then ate and cleaned up, and before too long, they were heading to two separate bedrooms to have nice diaper changes.

Kalvin and Jon jumped onto the bed and landed in the sixty nine position, pushed down each others double soggy diapers and sucked each other in. Once they were changed and dressed, they met the boys in the hallway and Konrad told of the plans for the day. The old wall that was now in the way was taken out quickly and easily with the use of reciprocating saws and small sledge hammers. That took less than an hour to remove and put into the bin. Since the insulation and vapour barrier was already in and done, since it had had to be inspected, they were now good for drywall. Konrad had insulated and got everything done during the week so that the inspector could come on Friday to pass it, and he did easily, seeing that there had been plenty of vapour barrier left to tie into the old section. The installation of the drywall took them through to lunch time, so when they were done, they had some much needed food. After lunch they started on the mudding and taping. Since it was such a small job, Konrad did it himself, even though he hated it. The boys helped where they were able to and the first coat was done in just over an hour.

“You boys still good for a bit more work?”

“Sure, what'd you have in mind?” Justin asked.

“Tear out the old tiles in the entry way and tile all of it in the same tiles that we used in the kitchen.”

“Okay, that sounds good.”

“Since we don't all need to do both, why don't we do two teams, Kalvin and Jon can take care of the tear out and you and I can start on the installation starting at the opposite end.”

“Works for me.” Justin said.

“Me too.” Jon and Kalvin said as one.

So that was what they did. Konrad had already well known that the tiles were not properly installed, since they were all cracking, so he knew that the boys would have no trouble with it at all, and they did not. They were actually done the removal and cleanup before Konrad and Justin had their first full row of tile installed. Granted, they had first had to clean well, cement the concrete backer board down, screw it down, and then start installing tiles. Kalvin and Jon then started on installing the rest of the concrete backer board after cleaning everything perfectly. By the time they finished that, Konrad and Justin were nearing the half way point. Their bucket of concrete was getting low though, so Kalvin and Jon went and got another smaller bucket prepared, because they were not going to need as much now to finish off. After dropping that off, they headed to the kitchen to get started on dinner, something that Konrad appreciated. Just as dinner was finished, so were Konrad and Justin.

“There we go, not bad, we got lots of work done, and it looks great too.” Konrad said as he sat down.

“Yeah, it really does, now it's a really grand entrance almost. Just can't wait to see the stairs and the rest of the flooring done so that it doesn't drag the rest down.” Kalvin said, the others agreed.

They sat down and ate a good meal, and cleaned it up once they were done. They all needed fresh diapers, so they headed up and got into fresh diapers, all of them figuring that they would double up at bedtime, so there was no point in doing so now. They then met in the living room and watched two good movies before they all decided that it was bedtime.

Probably not so surprisingly, but they did double diaper each other after a little bit of good quality play time, but before too long, all four of them were sound asleep, curled into their boyfriends all night long. They all slept well and peacefully and woke up at about their normal times the following morning.

After breakfast, they all went for another nice diaper change and then got to work knocking down the first coat of drywall mud and then applying the second, and hopefully last, but probably not Konrad figured, since he was so bad at it. After cleaning that all up, they went about grouting the tile floor, and with four of them working on it, it went very fast.

It was almost lunch time when they finished cleaning everything up, so they went and made and ate that, and then before they knew it, it was time for the guests to go home.

Konrad and Kalvin had to go shopping, so as soon as the others were gone, they headed out and went and got everything that they were needing. When they got home, they sanded and did one more coat of drywall mud, since it was ready, and Konrad hoped that that would be good enough. With a final sanding, he felt that it would be ready for primer and paint, and then the finishing touches.

The crew that Konrad had hired to do all new siding on the house started Monday morning and were finished by mid Thursday, the house now looked amazing from the outside, and was getting there on the inside as well. Speaking of the inside, Konrad had also placed the order for all the new hardwood flooring, and it was delivered to the house on Wednesday. Every night of the week found Konrad and Kalvin moving all the furniture out of all the main floor rooms, which was not at all fun, but they wanted to install it on the weekend.

It was a long weekend this coming weekend, the kids had both Friday and Monday off, Monday was a stat holiday, so Konrad decided to do the same, thinking that they could use the extra days to get a huge amount done. Kalvin asked if he could invite all the friends over again, that they would all love to help once more, and Konrad was okay with this, especially Justin spending the whole weekend. Kalvin had asked all the friends on Tuesday, and they all came back with their answers on Wednesday.

Wednesday, as the boys were sitting down to lunch, they were all together as usual, Justin finally got the chance to spill some really cool news.

“Guess what guys, my brother has a boyfriend.”

“Really.” They all said.

“Yeah. I guess he's been wearing diapers to school, and his best friend noticed. I'd suspected that the little cutie was gay since they were seven, so them becoming boyfriends wasn't too much of a shock. Anyway, Aidan noticed on Monday that my brother, Anthony by the way, was wearing a diaper and asked why. He at least asked Anthony out of the way of everyone else and quietly so as not to embarrass his best friend. He told Aidan that he needed diapers, but only really at night, but just liked to wear them during the day. Aidan admitted that he'd been wetting the bed a lot more frequently lately as well, so Anthony offered him some of his diapers, and he accepted. He came to my house with Anthony after school, and he diapered Aidan, and things just sorta went from there. I walked in on them totally sucking and fingering each other while wearing soggy diapers. They noticed me, I just said oops, sorry, continue with your fun and come see me when you're good and drained. Half an hour later, they came to my room. Aidan wouldn't leave the bedroom in just his diaper, but Anthony of course does now all the time, and I was just in my diaper too. Aidan wouldn't look at me, but I made him, I think he liked what he saw, because he had to adjust himself in his diaper a couple times. We ended up talking for quite a while and I told both of them that they made a cute couple, to be careful at school, so on and so forth, and of course to be careful around dad, because his therapy isn't really helping much yet.”

“Wow, that's awesome. So, how long did you watch before they noticed you there?” Zane asked coyly.

“Almost five minutes.” Justin grinned brightly.

“Can't say's I blame you.” Sasha laughed.

“Me neither.” The rest said as one.

“So, if I asked my brother and his boyfriend to your house this weekend as well Kalvin, you think your dad'd be okay with it?”

“Sure. I think I know who your brother and his boyfriend are too. You'd never said his name or what school he went to, but they were a couple of my only friends there. They were best friends though, did everything together, but we knew each other and liked each other, and sometimes I hung out with them.”

“Yeah, he says he knew you as well and that he liked you. I told him who you were and he laughed when I said you were a gay diaper lover as well, saying that that didn't surprise him.”

“It doesn't surprise me that he's gay either, or a diaper lover to tell you the truth.”

“That's awesome. His school is on the way to your place, so we can pick them up on our way. I already told them both that we'd be working as well while there, but that we all had a lot of fun doing it too.”

“Awesome.”

They continued talking and having fun until the bell rang, telling them that their time was up. They headed in and finished out their day. The next day went quickly and before they knew it, they were all headed to Kalvin's house for the entire long weekend. They stopped at Kalvin's old school, and Aidan and Anthony were there waiting for them.

Both boys are cute ten year olds, they are almost the same height, which is pretty much the average of a ten year old, so a little taller than Kalvin. Anthony has short straight brown hair, while Aidan has medium length curly sandy blond hair. Anthony has soft brown eyes and dimpled nose and cheeks, while Aidan has green eyes and a pale milky complexion. They were both smiling brightly as they saw the others approach.

“Hi guys, it's good to see you again Kalvin.” Anthony said happily.

“Good to see you as well, and to find out that we're an awful lot alike.”

“Oh yeah, the past few weeks have been awesome since I got to start wearing diapers and I found out I wasn't alone at home. Justin and I've talked a lot. And guess what guys, we admitted that we're boyfriends at school today.”

“And how'd that go over?” Justin asked cautiously.

“Well, a couple of the kids in our class had noticed that we were a little too close, so they asked us if we were boyfriends, and we grabbed hands and said yes. By lunch time, I think all the upper grades knew. A few kids tried teasing us, but we just smiled and said, jealous much. One boy did it right in front of a teacher, so he's in super crap, not sure what he was thinking, but oh well.”

“That's really good guys.” The others all said more or less.

They walked the few houses away from the school and reached Kalvin's, talking happily all the way there.

“You guys sure have done a lot of work to this old house.” Aidan said as they walked in the yard.

“Yeah, we have, but this is only what you can see, we've done a huge amount more work than just this. The entire house is nearly unrecognizable from when we bought it.”

“Cool, can't wait to see it. I used to know the boy who lived here before you, he was nice, so I've been inside, so I'll be able to see what all you've done.”

“I didn't know you knew Timmy.” Jon said. “He and I were friends as well, because he went to my school.”

“Yeah, well we only live just down the road, so I'd met him while playing in the neighborhood a few times, so I'd been in the house too.”

“Cool. Funny how that is. Come on inside, you'll certainly be surprised.

And he was too. After all of them went and stripped down to their diapers, even Aidan had worn one to school today, they went and toured the entire house. Both new boys were impressed with everything that they saw. They were told what all they would be doing during the weekend. The two new boys said they were not sure how much help they could be, but that they would help where possible. They were assured that their help would be greatly appreciated, and that they would be able to help far more than they suspected.

“You two are really cute in your diapers. And you even wore one to school today too Aidan.” Kalvin said happily.

“Thanks, you too.” Anthony said.

“Thanks, I was totally nervous all day long, but Anthony kept assuring me that no one would be able to see, and I don't think anyone did. No one's noticed him yet, so I guess I knew I'd be okay, which was why I tried it. You guys all look so hot like that too. I sorta always thought I was a bit of a freak 'cause I wanted to try wearing diapers, I never told anyone, I even tried not wetting the bed. I stopped mostly a year or so ago, I totally made myself stop wearing diapers so that I wouldn't be a freak, and it was starting to work. There were several responses from the others, but the general consensus was great. All this was said as they started the tour of the house and they continued talking happily as they went. Finally they were done.

“Wow, you guys sure have done a huge amount here, it looks incredible. So, what are we doing this weekend then? Anthony told me that Justin said something about flooring.” Aidan asked.

“Yep, all new hardwood flooring on the main level. If we get to it, maybe upstairs as well, but that's only my bedroom, the spare bedroom and the hall, because my dads bedroom's already done. It'll probably be too much for the one weekend, even with all of us working at it, but we do have four days to complete it, so I think we'll get it all done. The hardest part will be the finishing, because it's not some pre-finished stuff, so we have to stain and clear coat it ourselves. I say the finishing doesn't really matter too much, since it's pretty easy to do, but if we can get all the wood installed, and maybe even get it stained, which are the two time consuming ones, then we should try and get it all.” Kalvin said.

“Well, it's not like the main level's really all that large, it's really just the living room, dining room, small hall and the stairs. With the garage taking half of this level, the kitchen talking almost half of what's left, there's not really all that much left.” Jon pointed out.

“I know, that's what I told my dad as well, but he didn't wanna push it. He says the stairs will take the largest portion of the time though, since they're the hardest to do.”

“True, but maybe we should just clean out the bedrooms anyway, for just in case. We can set up your bedroom in the rec room for now, just like was done for the kitchen.”

“Sure, why not, you guys wanna help us with that real quick. It won't take long, and since we still have nothing in the spare room anyway, we don't even have to worry about it.”

“Okay.” They all said.

They headed back upstairs and got started. They took all the drawers from the dresser and desk first, then came back and four of them managed the dresser, while the rest worked on the desk. They then got the bed, once again splitting up for that, but it was easy to do. They got everything set back up downstairs and they were done in less than an hour. It had actually taken longer to bring all Kalvin's toys down than it had the furniture. Most of the hanging stuff in the closet though was left.

“So, what should we do now then?” Jon asked.

“The garbage bin's already here, and we have roughly a thousand square feet of crap laminate flooring to remove and throw away, so, let's get started on that. The only problem with that though is that means us babies have to get dressed, unless you wanna go out front in only a diaper and a smile.”

“I for one say get dressed.” Aidan said.

“Yeah, I agree. I may be a diaper lover, but not even I'd let most people see me like this.” Kalvin grinned.

They headed back downstairs, where all their clothes now were, and got dressed.

“Now, we're getting all new baseboard and door casing, so it comes off as well, just try not to damage the walls while taking it off. We already have to do lots of drywall repairs anyway, so if an accident happens, don't worry about it, but let's try not to make it too much more.” Kalvin said.

“Um, I've never done anything like this before, so maybe you better do that Kalvin.” Anthony said.

“That's okay, I doubt any of the others have either, so we can all learn together.” Kalvin said while handing out an assortment of different tools that came in handy for removing mouldings.

Kalvin showed them the best way to go about their chore, and before too long, they were done removing the trim. Then they got to work on the removal of all the laminate flooring. This was easy to do, and because the dining room had never had flooring installed, they did not have a lot to do either. In fact, it was so easy and fast, that they were finishing all the flooring removal as Konrad was walking in.

“Hi boys, whatcha doing?”

“What's it look like?” Kalvin grinned.

“It looks suspiciously like destroying the house.”

“Yep, that pretty much sums it up. We're doing upstairs as well, we all felt that there's no point in doing that in two stages. My bedroom's already moved downstairs, in case we don't get to the finishing right away, and since it takes a couple days at least to do, this way I don't have to sleep on the couch. I think with all of us working, even with doing the stairs as well, we should be able to get all the wood installed and stained this weekend for sure.”

“Okay, it might be too much, but since you boys have gotten such an early start, we might be able to get it done.” Konrad shrugged. He knew they could do it, but he did not want to work the boys too hard either.

“We'll get it done, don't worry. We didn't get dinner started, so if you wanna do that, we'll go upstairs and get that done. It won't take long, but you'll probably be done before we are. Justin will of course be staying with you.” Kalvin said, and with his final statement, Justin brightened right up and nodded, which of course caused Konrad to brighten and smile as well.

“Okay.”

As soon as Konrad and Justin headed upstairs, because Konrad needed a diaper change, Aidan started.

“I thought you were in trouble there for a minute.”

“Why, it's what we were doing this weekend, I know what needs to be done, and how to do it too, and I knew he was teasing me. Nah, you don't have to worry about my dad. When you have to worry about him is when he says nothing and you can't read what he's thinking on his face. He never yells either, the more mad he is, the quieter he gets. Thankfully I've never made him that mad, but in grade two when my teacher made me pee my pants in class, boy was he mad at her, and when we met with her and the principal, she left crying and he never once raised his voice.”

“Yikes. How'd she make you pee your pants?” He asked.

“She wouldn't let me go to the bathroom, even though she'd been told I had a weak bladder and was to be allowed access to the washroom at all times. My dad's told every teacher I ever had that, she didn't care. I was in class only two weeks at that time, I had to go, so I asked to go and she said no. Five minutes later, I told her I really needed to go, and she said no. Probably only two minutes later I told her I was gonna wet my pants if she didn't let me go, she said no. Finally I just got up and was almost to the door when she stopped me and said I was going nowhere and to sit back down, but by then it was too late, I already knew it was, but I was at least hoping not to wet my pants in front of everyone. No one teased me for it though, they could all tell how bad I'd had to go, but she was furious, said I'd done it on purpose and that I should be ashamed of myself.”

“I never said a word, just went right to the office, walked right into the principals office and told him what happened and that I had to call my dad and get a teacher fired. He told me that if anything like that ever happened that he'd personally remove any teachers permit. Boy was he mad when he got there though. The principal had already got my teacher and she was in the office with me when my dad arrived, and he took one look at me and asked me to explain what had happened. As I was talking, my teacher kept trying to interrupt to say what had happened, but my dad said that he had asked me, and that she was not to speak. Boy did she get mad at that. Then he asked her for her interpretation of the events, and she said it how she'd seen it, which was that I was a spiteful young boy that had a serious disregard for authority and that I should be punished. Well, that's when my dad got real quiet, I actually backed up, knowing she was in real trouble. Even the principal could tell, and he stood in front of me. He never had to say a word, when the teacher left crying, she never came back.”

“Wow.” All the boys said, because none of them had heard this particular story.

“Yeah, it was awesome. Okay, come on, let's go get upstairs done guys.”

They all headed upstairs and got started on the mouldings first, and then the flooring after. As they did so, they talked.

“Um, Kalvin, why'd Justin stay with your dad?” Anthony asked.

“Oh, he never told you?”

“No, what?”

“He and my dad are baby boyfriends.”

“But your dad's the same age as ours, and they really have sex?”

“Not sure what, if anything they've done, but yeah, they're boyfriends.”

“Oh.”

“Just don't tell your parents, that's for him to do when he's ready for it.”

“I won't, don't worry. Wonder why he never told me.”

“Who knows. I'm surprised he didn't tell you when he asked you to come for the weekend though.” Kalvin shrugged.

“Same.” And they continued talking and having fun as they worked.

As soon as Justin and Konrad made it to their bedroom, Justin jumped into his mans arms and they kissed tenderly for several minutes. Justin's diaper was fresh enough that he did not need a change, so Konrad left him dressed, but Justin undressed Konrad. He hen proceeded to change Konrad's diaper and then dressed him once again, since they would be doing more work after dinner anyway. Finally they headed downstairs and got started on making some dinner. The boys were called once dinner was ready, and they all sat down and ate it, enjoying it and the friendly talk as they did so. The dinner dishes were all cleaned up, and then they all went back to work. It took only half an hour longer to get the last of the flooring pulled up and thrown into the bin.

With all the work now being done, they headed downstairs to the rec room, where the temporary living room was set up. Kalvin's bedroom had been set up in one corner, so it took up very little space, the living room took up most of the rest. A movie was chosen and put on and they all sat down to watch it. When the movie ended, Konrad said he was going to head to bed and read, Justin made to go with him, but he was told to stay with the boys, that he had to be a kid as well. He did so, but he was not exactly happy about it either.

As soon as Konrad was gone, Anthony said, “So, how come you never told me that you had a boyfriend, or that he was as old as our dad?”

“Don't know, just didn't feel right to tell anyone, even you. Technically speaking, because I'm sixteen, it's perfectly legal for us to have any sort of relationship we want, but, well I don't exactly look sixteen do I. So, to save getting into any sort of trouble, we've agreed that we shouldn't say anything to anyone.”

“I suppose that makes sense, to most everyone else, but I'm your brother and we're a lot alike.”

“I know, but I wasn't sure how you'd take it. I was gonna tell you last night, so that you weren't shocked by finding out today, but you went to bed early because you were so tired.”

“Oh, okay, but I was really tired.”

“Only because you went to bed so late the night before because of jacking off.”

“What, you caught me again.” Anthony laughed.

“Nah, just a good guess.”

“Right.”

After that the diaper changing stuff was retrieved and they all helped each other to double diaper each other, then their bed was set up in the middle of the temporary living room. They stayed up for almost an hour after that talking and laughing before they all admitted that they were getting tired and went to sleep.

When the boys woke the following morning, they were all super soggy, but not so much that they were in danger of leaking, so they did not bother to change.

“Wow, I've never been this full before, this is awesome.” Anthony said.

“No kidding. I've never even thought of double diapering before.” Aidan said happily.

“We love doing it, makes you feel even more babyish, so thick, so soggy, so awesome.” Kalvin said. The others all agreed.

They decided to get up and go get some breakfast then, so headed upstairs. As soon as Justin saw his boyfriend, he went up and kissed him tenderly, saying good morning. They made and ate breakfast, then decided to go ahead and get dressed so that they could get started. They met back on the main level only a few minutes later.

“Okay, we need to go get all the tools and get them in here and ready to go.”

The boys all nodded and followed Konrad out to the shop. By the time everything was retrieved that they needed, each one of them had an armful of tools. The flooring was already stacked neatly in the dining room, so they did not have to worry about that, thankfully. When they got back inside, Konrad started the arduous chore of checking everything for square and marking their very first line, so that they could follow that. The first row of boards was taken out and put through the saw to cut it down to where they wanted it, and then back in to install them. For obvious reasons, only the straightest, truest and most perfect pieces were chosen for this row, since if this row was not perfect, nothing else would be either. Once Konrad got the first couple pieces installed, Kalvin started teaching the others what they had to look for and what to do.

Once Konrad had the first row installed, he started installing the next several pieces that the boys had already pre chosen for him, and he found that they had chosen well, but he knew that Kalvin would have no problems with this, and he had taught the others well as well.

“Hey Daddy, why don't you and Justin go work on the stairs, I think me and the others can do this now.” Kalvin said once Konrad had the third row completed and was able to use the flooring nailer.

“You sure you boys can handle this part?”

“Sure. You know I know how to use the flooring nailer properly, and the others are doing well choosing the proper pieces, so you may as well. I know you have to do them, or I'd do them for you, but I don't really know how to yet.”

“Okay, but if you run into anything, call me. Oh, and definitely call me if you have to do any cutting.”

“Was gonna anyway. And do you want us to just go right over top of the heat registers like we did upstairs and cut them out after?”

“Yeah, that's the easiest way, just remember to mark them please.”

“Okay.”

The boys got to work, continuing where Konrad had left off. Konrad and Justin went and grabbed the pre-made stair treads and got started on them. This job was going to be quite slow though, because they had to first remove the existing tread that was in place. They were screwed down, but if they were unlucky, they would be glued down as well, which they were supposed to be, but nothing else had been done properly, so Konrad hoped. They were in luck though, because the first one came out easily after removing the six screws holding it in place. They cut some matching hardwood for the riser, then cut the tread to the proper width, glued it all in and then attached them fully. The trim piece was added last, and the first tread was done, now only twenty seven more to go Konrad had laughed.

They did make good time though, and had the first staircase done before the boys made it to the top of the stairs, where Konrad was going to have to custom make the top stair nose. Once able to do so, Konrad measured meticulously and then went and cut and routed the front edge of the flooring and came back, glued it into place and then nailed it in as well. The boys still had to finish the last few feet of the living room, but now had to go all the way down the hall too, but this was actually pretty fast work with so many of them grading and passing and Kalvin only having to nail them into place.

Konrad and Justin were almost half way done the other stair case when the boys were done, and Konrad's precise measuring had paid off, because they had had a full piece all along the far wall, so there had not been any cutting down at all. Konrad took the next little while to get the first two rows in the dining room started, then left the rest up to the boys, while he and Justin went to finish the stairs. This room was almost half the size of the living room, so it would not take the boys long at all to complete, and all of them managed to finish off at just a few minutes past noon.

“Wow, I can't believe we got it done already, and it looks amazing. Good work boys.”

“Thanks.” They all said.

“Let's get some lunch, then I'm willing to bet everyone needs diaper changes, then we can get started upstairs and get that banged out in real quick order.”

They made, ate and cleaned up from lunch, went for diaper changes all around, and then headed upstairs. This time though they had to carry all the boxes of flooring upstairs, and they all paired up to do this. Though after only a few boxes, most of the boys were getting very tired, they were surprisingly heavy. They did get it done though and before too long, Konrad was marking out for the first row once more. He got the first two rows in, same as before, then at the door to the guest bedroom he had to reverse direction, because it was being installed toward Kalvin's bedroom. Using the brad nailer, he and Justin, as well as Aidan and Anthony worked in there to get it done.

The other six went quickly though and only had to ask Konrad to come out a couple times to cut things for them to get them around closets and or doors. Once they were into Kalvin's bedroom, it was easier going once again, because it was large and square. By the time dinner time was called, they were well past done, and had already gotten started on filling any and all imperfections throughout, so that they could sand the next morning. They only had at most an hours worth of work left to finish off after dinner, so after making, eating and cleaning up from dinner, they all went for diaper changes again and then finished off all the filling.

“Wow boys, that's amazing, we installed a little more than a thousand square feet of hardwood flooring in only one day, thanks.”

“No prob.” They all said in one way or another.

They went down and watched another movie before bed, and then headed to bed. This time Justin was not being told no and went to bed with Konrad. They all slept well though and were up and raring to go at their regular time once more. After getting ready for the day, the floor sander, as well as every sander that Konrad had were pulled out. The boys were told what to do and how to go about doing so, being told of course to be very careful, and they all got to work. Since the floor sander was too powerful for any of the boys to use, Konrad manned this alone. There were also not enough hand sanders to use for all the boys, so they all switched off and on so that they did not all get tired. The stairs were the most time consuming of all though, and took almost half the time alone. They of course could only be done by hand, and even with power sanders, it was hard on the hands after a while. They were done just past lunch time.

Lunch was made, ate and cleaned up, and all their diapers changed before they got back to work, this time cleaning everything meticulously, because it had to be very nearly perfect, or nothing after would be. Konrad then gave a good tutorial on how to stain, and they all got to work doing so. They were each passed their own container full of stain, cloth and gloves, and they all got to work. It is not hard work to stain a floor, but it is painful, and they all managed just fine. They started upstairs of course, got that done, then the boys started the dining room, while Konrad got the upper stairs, then the living room was done, and finally the lower stairs. The problem was, now of course they could not really go back upstairs until the stain was fully dried. Konrad had of course already known this and had made sure everything they needed was already downstairs for them. They had dinner, watched a couple movies, changed each other for bed, and this time Konrad slept with the boys.

Fresh socks were handed out to the boys, so that the oils from their feet would not make the floor any harder to clean, and then they headed up for breakfast. After breakfast was the hardest part of all, because the floors had to be absolutely perfect for the next step, so that meant a very good cleaning. This job took almost two hours before they were able to start putting on the first coat of floor finish. Konrad had bought more applicators for this, since they were going to have so many people doing it, and they were able to split up. They only had to be careful so as not to trap anyone in rooms or anything. The first coat took only two hours to apply, now all they had to do was wait at least two hours for it to set up more than enough for the next coat. They took the opportunity to have lunch, get changed and watch a movie, then started all over again. Two more hours to apply, another two hours to wait, but this time they watched a movie first, then had food, and then did one more coat. Two coats was all that was required with the product that Konrad had chosen, but he went three, because it was better.

“Man, that was really easy, it took a long time, but it was really easy to do.” Aidan said once they sat down to relax.”

“Yeah, hardwood floors are amongst the most time consuming floors to install, but hard to do, not really. You have to know what you're doing of course, but with basic knowledge, almost anyone can do it, at least if they take their time and use their heads.”

“I see that now. Silly question though, did anyone cut out the heat register holes?”

“No, I do that after the clear coats completely dry, so that we don't have to worry about the stuff going down the hole. If I accidentally scratch it as I'm cutting, it's easy to fix, so I'd rather do it that way, just because it makes the clear coating way faster and easier.”

“Oh, okay, cool.”

They watched another movie before diaper changes and bedtime, and before too long, they were all passed out cold. They all had another great sleep, and the next morning they even slept in a little, because they had done a lot of work over the past couple days.

When they woke up, they all laid back and chatted for a bit before deciding to go get a big filling breakfast made, so they did so and enjoyed it a great deal. Once it was cleaned up, they all headed down for diaper changes all around once more.

“So, what now Daddy?” Kalvin asked.

“We have to cut out for all the vents, check everything for perfection, install the mouldings, and then put everything back. I almost doubt we can get it all done today though, but it sure would be nice, since you boys have been such a great help, and we'll lose ninety percent of our workforce tomorrow afternoon.”

“Then let's get to work, so that hopefully tomorrow we can just rest and relax and play.”

So they did all get to work, and they worked hard all day long to get it done. They did manage it as well. They even got all the furniture carefully moved back into place by bedtime.

“Wow, would you look at this place, it's finally starting to resemble all that I imagined it to be.” Konrad said, tearing up a bit.

“It looks great.” Kalvin said and all the others agreed wholeheartedly.

They all went to bed and had a good sleep once again, and the following day they did relax. The boys played for a while in Kalvin's bedroom, then they watched a movie, and then before too long, all the guests were getting ready to leave.

“Thank you boys so much for all your help once again, you did great.”

“You're welcome.” They all said.

The guests all left, and Konrad and Kalvin were all alone.

“Well Baby, I think we done good.”

“For sure, it looks amazing Daddy. Even Grandma didn't think it'd look this good, but it does. We should probably have them come visit next weekend, so that she can check it out. It sucks that they moved, I do miss them.”

“Me too, but it's not like they're all that far away, only a few hours. I'll call tonight and ask them, but that means we'll need to finally get a bedroom set for the guest bedroom.”

“Actually, I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier, since it'll mean more work, but can we put mine in there and I can get a new one? I'd really like a queen size bed and I need a bigger desk. I'd also like a matching one this time.”

“That's not a bad idea really, you do need and deserve one, so we'll pick one out today and have them deliver it some time this week. So, now, let's go shopping.”

They went and hit their usual stores for their usual supplies, but this time they also stopped at a furniture store and found a really nice set that suited Kalvin perfectly. They arranged to have it delivered Wednesday afternoon, after the boys got home from school. They decided to go out for dinner after that, so went and had a good meal.

School on Tuesday and Wednesday went well, and before they knew it, Kalvin and Jon were to the house. Tuesday night, Konrad helped Kalvin to move everything to the guest bedroom and set it up, and then when the delivery came on Wednesday, the boys showed the guys where it was going and where they wanted everything, so they got to work and set it all up for them. Kalvin and Jon went about putting everything away once the guys were gone, that is, after a very nice diaper change, that took roughly half an hour. They were not quite finished when the dads arrived. Jon left with his dad, and Kalvin continued on while Konrad made dinner.
