He twisted, turned, paced the house, and set up in the bed all through the night. Finally, Sunday morning arrived, and Phil was up at the crack of dawn. I got up with him, and we showered together. I asked him if he had things ready to travel at his house and he said that he had to do some laundry and make several business phone calls. I said "Phil, I will drive behind you to your house, I will take care of the laundry and other things while you make your business phone calls. Maybe I can help you get out of town earlier." He started to object, but I told him that I had made a decision and it stood. He grabbed his overnight bag and headed to his truck. I grabbed my keys and got in the Denali. We backed out of the driveway and headed to his house. We pulled into the driveway and I followed Phil into the house. I went to his bedroom and gathered up his dirty clothes. I found myself wondering when did he last do the laundry. I took all of his dirty clothes to the laundry room, sorted them, and began washing them. While the clothes were washing, I checked out the refrigerator and cleaned it of all of the take-out containers and half-opened drinks. I cleaned the kitchen while I washed additional loads of clothes. I hung or folded the clothes, as I took them out of the dryer. I walked over to his bedroom and located his luggage. I placed it on the bed and began to put the basics in (boxer briefs, t-shirts, socks, jeans, and belts) along with his shaving and toiletries kits. I looked in his closet, but decided that I would let him choose the slacks, shoes, and shirts that he wanted to take with him. I walked over to his office, and he was talking on the phone and working on the computer regarding various projects and making landscaping orders with various nurseries, lumber companies, and plumbing suppliers. He was busy, so I returned to the laundry room and gathered the clothes that I had folded or placed on hangers and took them to his room. I placed them in the correct drawer or in the closet. In about forty-five minutes, he found me in the living room and sat down beside me. I told him everything that I had done. He said "Doug, I did not bring you over here to do all of that." I said "I know that Phil, but it had to be done, and now you can leave a little earlier than you had planned. Go to your bedroom and make your choices from your closet." He went to his bedroom and began to select his shirts, slacks, and shoes for the trip to Tampa. He said "I think I better take a light jacket as it could be a little windy down there. Can you get me one from the foyer closet?" I told him that I could and would. I walked down to the foyer and selected a black windbreaker for him. I took it back to his bedroom, and he finished packing his luggage. After he finished packing his stuff, he walked the house and made sure that it was secure. He gave me a key, in the event that I needed to get in or take care of some issue while he was out of town. We walked into the garage; he gave me a hug and a long kiss. I told him that I loved him, and for him to call me every night. He promised that he would. He got in the truck, while I got in the Denali. I backed out and headed home, while he backed out and headed to the interstate for his long drive to Tampa. I drove home and tried to find something to do that would keep my mind off Phil and his father. I went to my office and tried to work on my upcoming lesson plans and lecture notes. I made some progress until Shane and Matt came over. They wanted to know what had happened with Phil, and I explained that his father had been diagnosed with cancer several months earlier, and now he was having some issues and would have to be hospitalized in Tampa. They were shocked and very concerned. Matt asked me if I thought Phil would join us at the farm. I said "I really don't know; it depends on his work schedule, and how things work out with his father. I think that he really would like to be there, but I am not going to force him to go. He trusts me, and I trust him. I do however think that I will probably play less this year as we seem to be in a committed relationship." Matt said "Oh no, you don't, I plan on having you several times during the time at the farm." I looked at him and I said "Matt, I am not going to make a statement one way or the other, other than we shall see." Shane said "I am worried about my dad going" and then Matt said "I am not so sure that I want my dad to go either, but they have already committed to the trip and Dad has made some plans for special events and food." We continued to talk about the trip to the farm until they looked at their phones and saw that they needed to pack their stuff and head back to college. Shane and Matt left and within thirty minutes the boys showed up. Jay wanted to know where old Phil was. I guess my faced showed them that something was wrong, so Ryan asked what was wrong and where was Phil. I explained about his dad and last night's phone call. Jay fell quiet and said "Oh, I did not know about his dad, I can't imagine what I would do if something happened to my dad." Jay had tears in his eyes as he talked about something happening to his dad. Myles walked over to me, hugged me and said "Pops, I will put Phil in my prayers tonight." I hugged him and said "Thank you Myles, I am sure that he will appreciate that." Ryan asked "Dad, are you okay?" I said "Ryan, I am worried about Phil driving down there by himself, because he did not sleep well last night." Rob and Jay decided that they needed to go home as they had to get their stuff together for school on Monday morning. Ryan and Myles stayed with me and kept me company with one sitting on one side of me and the other sitting on the other side. I asked Myles if he was spending the night, and he said that he wasn't as him mom was working the day shift this week. In about thirty minutes, he got up and went home leaving Ryan and me alone at the house. Realizing that it was late afternoon, I asked Ryan what he wanted to eat. He said that he had a quick sandwich at Jay's around noon, but that he could probably go with a burrito from our favorite Mexican restaurant. I told him to get ready to go while I changed clothes. I returned to the kitchen, and he and I went to the garage and got in the Denali. I backed out and headed to the restaurant. After driving for a few minutes, my phone rang, and I handed it to Ryan to answer. He answered and explained that I was driving in heavy traffic. He said "Hold on, I will put you on speaker phone." It was Phil. He said that he had made it to Tampa in a little less than six hours. I did some quick calculations and that was about right. I asked about his dad and he said "I went by my mom and dad's house first. My brother was there and after I stored my stuff in my old bedroom, we went to the hospital. The doctors have run some tests on him today and have admitted him for observation and further tests. They are considering several options to include radiation, chemotherapy, or in the worst case scenario, experimental drugs." Ryan and I listened to Phil on the speaker phone, and as we began to bring it to a close, Ryan said "Phil, I am so sorry to hear about your dad, and I will say a special prayer for him tonight and every night." Phil thanked Ryan and told us that he loved and missed us. We told him the same and then, we ended the call. I drove on to the restaurant, and we went inside. We were handed a copy of the menu and we placed our drink orders. When our drinks were brought to us, we placed our meal order which was two burrito supremos with side orders of rice, and refried beans. Ryan looked over at me and said "I guess it is good that Phil is not here, or we might have to open all the windows tonight." I looked at him and broke out laughing. Our food was served in a few minutes, and we ate and talked about the next few weeks. Ryan knew that I am very concerned about Phil so he tried to keep the conversation upbeat by telling me some stuff that they did Friday and Saturday nights. I was not shocked. We left the restaurant and headed home. We arrived at the house, went in and began to gather our stuff for going back to work and school. I left my office, checked in on Ryan, and then, headed to my bedroom. I had stripped down to my boxer briefs and was about to get in bed when Ryan walked into my room. He said "Dad, is it okay if I spend the night with you, I know that you miss Phil and frankly, I don't want to spend the night tonight by myself. I said "Come on in." We lay on our backs and talked for the longest time, finally I told Ryan that we had to go to sleep as we had a long week ahead of us. He finally settled down and I dropped off to sleep. I woke up in the morning hugging Ryan to my chest. I woke him up and he groggily sat up. He said "That was a good night's sleep. I love sleeping with you, and I love to have your hairy chest to my back." I rolled over and got out of bed. I hurried him to his bathroom and told him that I would meet him in the kitchen after we were dressed. I took my morning shower and dressed for the day. I grabbed my work-out clothes, placed them by the utility room door, and made a quick decision about breakfast. I pulled a couple of yogurts with fruit out and grabbed a few graham crackers. We ate that quickly. Ryan took a pack of Pop-Tarts with him to eat later in the day. I parked in the parking lot, and I could see the students milling around the campus. I sat there for a few minutes and noticed that the posse was waiting by the entrance that I would use to enter the building. I got out and began to walk to the entrance. As I got closer, Landon saw me coming, and he alerted the others. They turned and started walking to me as a group. Tanner walked fast and he approached me first. I looked at him and said "Tanner, what is so important?" He said "Mr. Brunson, how was your Spring Break?" I said "Very busy with lots of walking." Dakota walked up as the last of the group and he said "Mr. Brunson, you really are taking this challenge seriously aren't you?" I said "Dakota, it has been the best thing for me, helps me health-wise and lets me burn stress." Landon said "Sooooooooooooo have you given any thought to making an interesting bet with us?" They laughed a nervous laugh, while I probably turned six shades of red. Blake said in a low voice "The loser or losers in this group right now has to strip naked in front of the winner or winners" I stopped dead in my tracks, turned and looked at Blake. I said "Blake, I have yet to figure out why you guys are so fixated on me, but let me ask you a question. What if I agreed to the following, I get to choose which one of you I would race against and then, the loser has to strip naked in front of the winner?" Now, let me tell you, their faces changed drastically. I smiled and said "Well gentlemen, I have to start my day, let me know your decision." I walked on into the school, picked my stuff up in the office, spoke to Mr. Richards, and headed to my classroom. I started my day and the classes ran smoothly. I watched members of the posse as they entered my classroom and they did not seem as self-assured as they once had. Breaking this down to a one on one had put a different slant on things. I was now in the cat-bird position, and I was going to enjoy it for a few days. I had a busy week at school with a called faculty meeting on Wednesday afternoon after school. Mr. Richards led the meeting and focused on two major areas: the importance of state-wide testing, and the upcoming run-walk race. I thought "Oh My God", not you too, but he did raise several good points. He focused on how the State has focused monetary rewards to the schools that show an increase in student performance and how our school could very possibly gain additional dollars and grant monies to institute more creative and demanding programs if we did, as well as, he hoped. I was intrigued with the possibility of securing grant funding to initiate and fund a demanding pre-collegiate science program. He then turned his attention to the run-walk race by saying "In the fall, we were approached by a group of students who wanted to make a difference at our school because of the loss of the football program. They proposed a faculty - student run-walk race to be held during the month of May. I have to tell you that I was skeptical of this, but I gave it my support. I can tell you that I have been impressed with the competitiveness of the various departments against one another, as well as, the student's willingness to tackle this project with enthusiasm and a competitive spirit. I have looked at the calendar so that we can set a final date for this activity however, I feel that it should be held after the statewide testing has been completed so that we can stay focused on the academics, and at the same time give everyone the opportunity to have additional practices to blow off steam and relieve stress." I sat there and analyzed his statement. I talked to the faculty members at my table. He asked for comments and it seemed that no one wanted to say anything, but I decided to speak up and I supported his stance with my own take on what I had witnessed and heard from my students and department members. As I spoke, I noted a number of heads agreeing with me. At the end of my comments, Mr. Richards asked for a vote of consensus with thumbs up for agreement and thumbs down for disagreement. The vote was unanimous in favor of holding the run-walk race after statewide testing. I left school that afternoon and went home. I cooked a quick meal for Ryan, Myles and myself. I worked on my upcoming lesson plans while the boys completed their homework. I finished my work and was talking with the boys when the phone rang. It was Phil. I walked down to my bedroom and began to talk to Phil. He said that things were looking much better for his dad even though the eventual case would be terminal. It seems as though his dad had agreed to be a subject for an experimental drug and had done so by stating that he understood that there was nothing that could be done to cure him, but that his participation in this study might bring different results for someone else. Phil said that it was initially hard to be a part of that conversation and decision-making, but in the end, he felt that it was his father's wish to be helpful and giving in spite of his illness. I had tears in my eyes as Phil talked because I could hear the emotion in his voice. We talked for about thirty minutes and then, we hung up. I shared the news with the boys and they had questions as to why someone would do something like that when it would not help them personally. We talked about that for a while and it was a very enlightening discussion for all concerned. I could see their points, and they eventually understood Phil's dad's reasoning. They finished their homework after I went to my room. I lay down and dropped off to sleep without undressing. I woke up the next morning in the same clothes that I had worn the previous day. I looked at the clock and I had slept until my usual wake-up time. I got up, shaved, showered, dressed, and walked down to their room. They were awake and had a review session on-going for a major test that they would be taking today. I stuck my head in and told them to focus on getting dressed and to come on down to breakfast. They grabbed their notes and headed to the bathroom together. I stood there and heard the shower start. Then, I heard the review session resume with one calling out questions to the one who was showering. They then reversed the roles when the first shower was completed. They dressed and joined me in the kitchen for a breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and orange juice. They packed their back-packs and headed to Jay's as it was Meredith's week to drive. I grabbed my stuff and headed to school. I parked and walked in with several faculty members. We chatted about the faculty meeting on the way into the building. They said that they really agreed with my comments and that this run-walk race might have been the best thing for the school this year as it has helped several faculty members with health issues, brought several departments closer together as a team, and really set a competitive spirit among the students. We finished our chat after grabbing our stuff from the office. I walked down to my classroom and in a few minutes, my day began. At the end of the day, I joined my team members in the gym for our practice session. I had to note that as I changed clothes, there was no sign of the posse, nor did they appear during our practice session. I knew something was up, but what? We practiced for an hour and then, I went home. I cooked spaghetti, made a salad, and toasted garlic bread. I had just finished pulling the bread out of the oven when the front doorbell rang. I walked to the door and opened it. There stood Phil. I grabbed him, hugged him tight, and pulled him into the house. I was closing the door when the boys walked around the corner to see who it was, when they saw it was Phil they ran to him and hugged him tightly, and told him how much they had missed him. My eyes were watery as was his. I corralled everyone to the kitchen and began to serve the spaghetti while Ryan filled the glasses with ice and Myles poured the sweet tea. The boys filled Phil in on the week, and we listened to him talk about his dad. After everyone had finished eating, I asked the boys to finish their homework while I cleaned the kitchen and Phil took a quick shower. I finished the kitchen duties and took a seat on the sofa in the family room. Phil joined me in a few minutes. We sat and talked more about his family and his father's condition. He told me that his youngest brother lived in the Tampa area and had been the one that really checked in on his dad and mom since Phil and his sister did not live in the area. He told me that the doctors sat with the family and gave them an update on his father's condition and prognosis with his father present. He said that the doctors then looked to the family for direction, but his father adamantly stated that he would be the one to make the decision. Phil said that everyone knew that as long as there was breath in his body that his dad would make any and all decisions related to his care. Phil said that it was hard to listen to the doctors say that there was no cure, but after he heard his dad accept that and make his decision regarding the experimental drugs, he accepted it and now knows that he must spend time with his father as he endures the drugs, the doctor visits, the hospital stays, and the eventual pain. He said that it was going to have a major impact on his plans for his company, but he felt that he had some capable people who could run things with a minimum of supervision. I told him that summer would soon be here and that I could do some things for him. He smiled, patted me on my leg, and said "Doug, this is the real world, hard work, and tough decisions." I looked at him and said "Phil, for your information, I can do hard work and I have listened to you talk about several projects, so I feel I can look at a project and make some initial decisions which would then be handed off to you for final approval." He shook his head and said "Doug, we can see how that goes, but it is possible that Dad will not have long to live, so all of this planning may be short-lived." We talked on for a few minutes with me giving him the latest on the posse and my response. He looked at me and said "Doug, you are not serious are you?" I said "Phil, I honestly don't know where my comment came from, but since that time, they have avoided me like the plague, so right now I am going to see how it plays out." I had just finished that statement when the boys walked into the family room and said that they had finished their homework and were heading to bed. I looked at my phone and noted that it was getting late so Phil and I went to our bedroom. We stripped down and got into bed. Phil leaned over and kissed me. I responded by placing my hands around him and hugging him close to me. He broke the kiss and said "Doug, usually we don't see each other until the weekend, but for the past few days, all I could think of was getting home and being with you. My dad kept watching me from the minute he saw me Sunday afternoon and finally on Wednesday when we were alone, he looked at me and said 'Phillip, there is something different about you and I can only believe that you have found that special someone because you have that look of love, and you are so settled in your comments and actions.' I was shocked to say the least and I told him that I had found a special someone. He said that he was happy because he had often worried that I would not find someone and I would spend my life alone. I was shocked in that Dad never said a specific sex, but kept his references neutral in regards to sexual context. I found the conversation strange, but also comforting as I think he will be open to what I have to tell him in a few weeks." I hugged him tightly and said "Phil, I am so glad that you have had this opening conversation with your dad, I know that our relationship has been heavy on your mind." He said "It has because I gain additional validation as to how much you mean to me daily, and I feared telling my parents because of their conservative views." I leaned over, kissed him again, and then he said "Doug, I need you to love me tonight, I have longed to have you in me for several days, and I think that longing is what my dad saw." Phil pulled me over on top of him, and we had a long passionate kiss. As we kissed, I felt my cock begin to stiffen. Phil rolled me back to my side of the bed and slid down so that he was right over my cock. He leaned down and began to lick the head of my cock. He spent a few minutes licking it with swirling motions. This caused me to leak a lot of pre-cum which he enjoyed because he knew that he was both exciting and pleasuring me. He then began to take gradual slides down and up my shaft until he had my full length in this mouth. He began to apply pressure to my cock and he hummed a few times. The vibrations of his humming really had an effect on me, and I pushed him off me and onto his back. I slid between his legs, and he raised them up and over my shoulders. I walked up to him on my knees and my cock found his hole without any difficulty. I slowly entered him as he had applied some type of lube back there after his shower. I looked at him and said "You planned this didn't you?" He said "Well actually I have dreamed about it so putting the plan into action was not a problem." I gradually sunk into Phil and he accepted me with a few grunts and tightening his arms around me. I bottomed and I did a few short pull-outs and jabbed him just to let him know where I was. He whispered to me that he was ready for some lovemaking, so I began to pull out and push back in with a variety of strokes, some short, some long, some soft, some hard, some slow and some very fast. He grabbed my head, pulled my mouth to his and kissed me with a lot of passion while his legs tightened around my neck. It was hot and I could feel his emotions, I made a few more strokes in and out of him, and I felt my cum begin to rise. I pushed into him and began to fill him with my love juices. I placed my head to the side of his and began to kiss and nibble on his neck. He bucked at my midsection and gradually, he began to relax. He lowered his legs and then, grabbed me by my neck and pulled me down for another long kiss. I broke the kiss and rolled off him. We lay there for a while not saying a word, then I sat up and raised myself so that I was kneeling on the bed. I pulled him up so that he was in the same position. I placed my left hand on his cock, held it, and placed my right hand over his heart. He did the same to me and I said "Phillip, I love you immeasurably, and I acknowledge you as my life partner." I looked at Phil, and he had tears in his eyes, but to be truthful so did I. He looked at me and said "Doug, I love you with every ounce of my being and I know without a doubt that you hold a significant part of my heart and soul. I love being your life partner, and I hope that you will be mine." I squeezed his cock and smiled. He did the same to me and we took that as an affirmative action. I leaned over, kissed him, and we fell back into the bed. Phil grabbed the sheets and pulled them over us. He backed up to me and I placed my right hand over him. I placed my hand over his left nipple and played with it until we both fell asleep. I woke up the next morning still spooning Phil. I moved and when I did, he woke up, turned his head and gave me a short good morning kiss. I said "Phil, as much as I would love to stay here with you today, I have to go to work." Phil said "I know and I have to go check on a number of projects as it is payday, and I need to pay my workers." We got out of bed, walked to the bathroom, and took care of our morning rituals. We finished our morning routines and dressed for the day. Phil dressed in jeans, and I settled on a pair of Dockers. We walked into the kitchen to find Ryan and Myles eating a bowl of cereal. Ryan looked at me and said "Well, I can see that you had a good night." I shot him that 'you are dead look' and he smiled. I said "Ryan, I am happy to have Phil home and yes, knowing that he was here with me made for a very comforting night." He smiled and then, he said to Phil, "Phil, it is good to have you home with us, and I am hoping that this weekend, we can get the chef there to cook something fabulous." Phil said "Ryan, now that sounds like a plan. I am thinking Saturday night with just the four of us." Myles beamed that he was included in the plans and then, everyone looked at me and said "Are you in on the plans?" I shook my head and said "Well, anything for my boys." Phil and I decided on a quick bowl of cereal and soon, everyone was on their way to school or work. As I walked from the parking lot to the school office, I ran into Landon. I smiled and said "Good Morning!" He looked at me and responded with a "Good Morning." I asked how things were going and he said "Things are going, neither good nor bad, just going." I asked how much time he was spending studying for the exams and he said "Mr. Brunson, I am not spending a lot of time studying as the walk-run contest requires a lot of practice, and I want the students to win it as it will secure a spot in this school's history for my class." I smiled and said "Landon, I can understand and appreciate it, but I want the teachers to win as that will secure a place in the school's history for us." He looked at me and did a slow smile. I said "I will see you in class in a few minutes" and walked into the office. After collecting my papers and checking my mailbox in the office, I walked down to the science wing with several departmental members. Rita O'Connor said that she had heard that the students were holding a practice session over the upcoming weekend at the stadium. I smiled and said "I talked to Landon this morning, and he really wants the students to win as he thinks it will secure a place for the seniors in the school's history. I understand how he feels being that there was no fame for them when the football program was suspended however, I think it says a lot about the instructional staff coming together to pull this race off." We were soon in front of my classroom, so I turned and entered. I began to lay out the day's materials and walked into the hallway to welcome the students to my classroom. I welcomed each student into the classroom by name. Everyone entered and assumed their assigned seat. I called the class to attention and began the day's lesson. As I lectured for the first half of class, I walked the classroom to keep the students' attention. I spent the last half of the class asking questions and responding to the responses that the students' gave to my questions or to student questions. I directed several questions to members of the posse when they were in my class. I enjoyed seeing them squirm when I placed my gaze upon them. It was great being in the driver's seat for a change. The school day ended and the department members met and practiced after school. It was interesting as when I went to the dressing room there were only members of the instructional staff there. I had to wonder what was going on, but then, Sam Chambers out of the Social Studies Department said that he had heard that the students would not be practicing today as they had a big rally and practice session scheduled for Saturday. I began to have an uneasy feeling about this, but I decided to focus on our practice session, and do the best that I could do. We finished our practice session; I changed clothes and headed home. I drove into the driveway, raised the garage door and found that Phil had not made it home yet. I entered the house to find the boys gathered in the family room examining the newspaper. I walked over to see what they were doing and found that they were looking at the movie listings for the evening. Phil texted me and asked if he need to pick up anything for dinner. I replied that he could stop and get some hamburger buns, a head of lettuce, a few tomatoes, a Vidalia onion, a bag of frozen crinkle cut fries, and something from the bakery. I walked into the kitchen, pulled a package of hamburger meat from the freezer and began to thaw it in the microwave. As soon as it was thawed, I began to mix it and pat it out into patties. I had them ready for the grill when Phil arrived. I put the fries in the oven and wrapped the buns in aluminum foil. I told Phil to light the grill and then, gave him the patties to put on it. I sliced the tomatoes and the onion after I tore the lettuce apart. I grabbed the ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and pickles from the refrigerator. I placed the buns in the oven with the fries about five minutes from the end of the cooking time for the fries. I pulled out paper plates, cups, and disposable cutlery. I placed them on the island along with the condiments, and vegetables. I told the boys to get ready to eat and about that time, Phil entered with the cooked patties. The boys returned from washing their hands and began to fix their hamburger after grabbing a handful of fries. I gave the boys a choice of drinking sweet tea or Coca-Cola from one of the 2 liter bottles. Everyone fixed their plates, filled their cups with ice, poured their drinks, and sat at the island. Jay looked at Phil and asked about his dad. It was a serious question, and he listened intently as Phil gave an update as he had talked to his brother while he was in the grocery store. Phil said that his dad would probably be released from the hospital on Sunday, if his blood work had shown some improvement. Phil got up, opened the refrigerator, pulled out the coconut custard pie, sliced and served it to each of us. It was delicious as it had toasted coconut on the top of the pie and it was one of our favorites. We finished our supper, cleaned the kitchen and then, the boys wanted me to take them to the movie. They had narrowed their choices down to two movies which were playing at the theater in the mall. I told them that Phil and I would take them there, and that we too, would see a movie there tonight so they needed to text us when their movie was over. Phil raised an eyebrow at me and I said "I just felt that we needed to do something different tonight." He smiled and said "I will be ready to go in fifteen minutes, but I need to shower and change from my work clothes." He returned to the kitchen in a pair of Dockers and a buttoned down shirt. He looked so good to me, that I honestly thought about just canceling the plans to go to the movie and staying home, but the boys started hurrying me up as it was getting close to the start time for the movies. We loaded up in the Denali and I drove to the mall. I parked, and everyone walked to the theater. Phil made our choice, and the boys made theirs. We did not watch the same movie. I bought us a large container of popcorn and a large drink. Little did I know that I would have to mortgage the house, but who can watch a movie without a Coke and popcorn? We entered the movie theater, and our movie was sparsely attended. We picked a spot in the center near the back of the theater. We watched the upcoming trailers and settled in to watch the movie. We began to munch on our popcorn and drank our drink. About midway of the movie, we had finished the popcorn and the drink and Phil reached over and took my hand into his. As we watched the movie he began to trace my hand with one of his fingers, then he began to write letters in my palm. I had to focus as he wrote each letter and determine what he was spelling. I had to smile as he worked through his sentence. I then took his hand and wrote that I looked forward to some play time when we got home. My phone dinged as Ryan had sent me a text stating that their movie had ended, and they wanted to go to Chic-Fil-A for lemonade and some nuggets. I told him that I was okay with that and we would join them in a few minutes. Our movie ended, and we walked over to Chic-Fil-A. We too, ordered a lemonade and some nuggets. We sat with the boys, and they told us about their movie. We finished our drinks and nuggets and headed home. The boys set up the family room for their usual Friday night sleep-over while Phil and I went to our bedroom. Things got quiet in the family room, and I looked at Phil and said "I should be worried, but right now all I want is to be in bed with you." We stripped down to our boxers and crawled into the bed. Phil said "My reading is that you don't want to play right now, right?" I said "Not right now, I want to be ready for company." Phil chuckled and said "Yeah, I understand, Jay is here." I said "Phil, I have to give him credit, he was really concerned about you and your dad last Sunday afternoon. In fact, he had tears in his eyes when I told him about your dad. It really affected him, and he said that he didn't know what he would do if something happened to his dad." Phil said "I have noticed that he seems to be settling down and is a little more bearable." I said "I can honestly tell you that I welcome that change big time." We lay there for a few more minutes talking about the boys; Phil's landscaping projects; the posse; and the plans for the weekend when the boys suddenly appeared in our room. As usual they made themselves comfortable by sitting or lying on our bed. Ryan looked over at Phil and said "Phil, we were talking and decided to come see you. Remember, I asked you about a possible summer job?" Phil nodded his head. Ryan continued "So we were wondering when can we apply?" Phil said "I know each one of you so there will not be a lot of paperwork, but you will need to talk to your parents as my type of work will interfere with your free time and maybe, some family plans. I know you guys are planning on going to the farm, and that will not be something that I can easily plan around with as many projects as I have going right now but I will give it some thought as I might be hiring some temporary helpers during the summer." Jay looked over at Phil since he was sitting over by me and said "Phil, I know you would like to work my ass off this summer, so I will be glad to work for you." We all laughed and Phil said "Jay, I would make sure that you worked son, you would come home ready for a shower, some food and a bed." Ryan refocused the conversation by saying "Phil we are very serious, and I think we understand your need for full-time employees, but we would be happy to do the temporary jobs as we really want to go to the farm, and we want you to go too." Phil said "I hear you and I would love to go to the farm for a few days, but it all depends on how my dad is doing." Jay looked up and he had tears in his eyes again. He said "Phil, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I have prayed for him every night, and I just want him to rest and to be at peace." Phil thanked Jay and then, the boys departed our bedroom. Phil looked over at me and said "I see what you mean about Jay. He was very adult, and he almost made me choke up when the tears appeared in his eyes. He can be really profound and thoughtful to be an ass most of the time." I chuckled and said "Welcome to my world." Phil got up and closed our bedroom door, took a quick trip to the restroom, and returned to the bed. I turned out the lamp on my side of the bed. We both slipped our boxer briefs off and tossed them to the floor on our side of the bed. Phil turned around so that we were in the classic 69 position. We began to suck each other's cocks and play with each other's balls. I love to feel Phil's balls as they move around in his sack. Phil loves to suck my balls, but he can only do one at a time. He spends a lot of time sucking them in and letting them slide out of his mouth. I on the other hand love to suck and play with his cock while I play with his balls. I love to taste his pre-cum, and I enjoy feeling his cock grow in my mouth. We played and sucked until we both climaxed. Phil cleaned me up, and I did the same to him. He turned around and kissed me, then he lay down with his back to me and I spooned him. Phil fell asleep with me holding his cock in my right hand, and I soon joined him as I was tired and thankful for having him in bed with me. END OF CHAPTER 39 - My Son and His Friends Well, thank you for reading Chapter 39, it was a little longer than I had planned, but the events just happened and I reported them. Looks like the posse has been thwarted in their efforts to see Doug naked or will they devise some other scheme? Many of you have written regarding Phil and Doug's relationship. I hope that you are happy with the progress in that area. It just feels right for the two of them, but will things be smooth sailing??? Will Phil's dad accept his relationship with a man or was he still referring to a woman but Phil misread his comments? Is Jay on his way to becoming a responsible young adult? I enjoy reading your thoughts and comments regarding this story along with any other topics that you share with me. Your emails are welcomed and I feel closer to you as I read your comments and/or concerns. Enjoy your Fourth of July Holiday and please be safe! I hope you have fun with your family and friends.
