Chapter 3 - My Sons and Their Friends - The Freshman Year Monday morning was coming through the windows, and I was not in the mood to deal with a Monday because, I had not had a good night's rest. My mind had been on Myles, making sure that I had addressed and listed all legal issues; reflecting back on my argument with Mom, her phone call with words of encouragement for Myles; and the phone call from Phil's brother, Brandon. I rarely woke up in a bad mood, but today was one of those rare days. I got up and headed to the bathroom. Phil joined me, and I barely said two words to him. I finally glanced over at him, and he wasn't his jolly self either. We finished in the bathroom and dressed for the day. I fixed a simple breakfast for the three of us and then, Jay and Rob arrived. They were unusually quiet in the house and especially on the way to school. We arrived at school. The boys bailed out and headed to their area, while I checked things out in the office. There were a couple of teachers who wanted to talk, but I was not in a Chatty-Kathy mood, so I answered or responded to their statements without elaboration and headed to my classroom. I laid out my class materials for the day and walked to the classroom door to greet the students when the bell sounded. I could feel myself grimace as they entered the room. This was definitely not me, as I love my students. I walked back to my desk, bowed my head, and prayed a silent prayer for guidance, peace and a positive direction. I walked back to my podium, and began to pass out several handouts. Somewhere in the midst of passing out the papers; it was like my second wind arrived, and I felt a surge of energy hit me. I fell into my planned lesson and dialogued with my students, even joking around with several who were off task, or who totally misunderstood my question. The day slowly moved forward, but at least it was moving. Lunch time arrived, and I decided to pick up a piece of fruit from the lunchroom and return to my classroom. After getting an apple, I sat at my desk and made phone calls to my lawyer and banker. I had to leave a message for the banker, but I was lucky and was able to talk to the lawyer, but then, he is one of my friends and I had his private number. I brought him up to date on recent events and told him what I wanted to accomplish first and then, we set up a meeting for Michelle, Myles, Ryan and me to meet with him at a later date. He said that he would start on a few of the items that afternoon and that he would keep me informed as to how they were progressing after filings. I hung up with him, and it was time for class. I resumed my morning routine with my afternoon class, and finally, it was the end of the day. The boys arrived, and they were definitely themselves; arguing and complaining about homework and school, in general. I listened to them as I packed my materials to take home. We left the classroom and were soon on our way home. As we were pulling into the driveway, Ryan asked if they could delay working on their homework and spend some time in the pool. I thought that was a reasonable request, and said "I think so." They piled out of the car, and walked into the house. They put their materials on the table and called their moms to tell them that they were at my house and were going to swim in the pool before starting their homework. From the conversation that I heard from Jay's end, I can only assume that Meredith was giving him some type of warning about taking school serious. He finally hung up and rolled his eyes. The boys walked into the family room and began stripping. I was a little surprised as they had not done any skinny dipping since returning from the farm. They tossed their clothes in a pile on the love seat and headed to the pool. They jumped in and things sounded normal except, one voice was missing. I began to plan the evening meal and decided on beef stew. I started by peeling onions, carrots and several small red potatoes. I placed the vegetables in a bowl of water and put them in the refrigerator until I was ready to use them. I pulled the stew beef out of the freezer and placed it in the sink to thaw. I wandered into the family room, sat on the sofa and relaxed for a while as I really began to think about sleep. I was just about to nod off when there was a disturbance out by the pool. I jumped up and made it to the glass doors just in time to see Ryan grab Jay by the nuts and walk him back to the wall. I have seen Ryan upset, but never mad and let me tell you he was beyond mad. Evidently he applied a little pressure to those orbs as Jay was pleading. Ryan did not cut him any slack. He said "Look me in the eye, no!, the eye" and he squeezed the balls, Jay made eye contact and then, Ryan said "I am going to say this one time, and one time only. It would be good for you to listen as I have no qualms about taking these off of you right this minute." I listened as I had never heard them have a disagreement of this magnitude. Ryan continued "If you ever make a comment about Myles again, I promise you that you will have my fist down your throat and my knee in your balls." I walked out onto the pool deck to see Ryan squeeze and yank Jay's balls. "Do you understand me?" Jay was in pain and at that point he would probably have agreed to anything. Ryan released his balls and said "I will hold you to that, and don't think I won't keep my word. You were talking about my brother, and he is off limits to you and your sarcastic mouth." I looked over at Rob who had crawled out of the pool and was standing on the other side. He looked at me and held his hands up as if to say 'I'm not involved in this.' Jay reached down and began to rub his balls while backing away from Ryan. He was about ten feet away from Ryan before he said anything. He said "Ryan, you didn't have to be so damn rough with me, my balls hurt because of what you did. There will come a day when I pay you back." Ryan was still boiling. He walked right up to Jay almost nose to nose and said "Any day that you want to bring it on, bring it on, but the next time I will be holding your dangling balls in my hand." I think at the point Jay got the message that Ryan was now in charge. I could not believe how Ryan who normally was rather quiet, but devilish could morph into such a dominant personality, but he did. I stepped back into the house, and they entered the family room. Jay wasted no time getting dressed. Rob and Ryan dressed and then, Rob said "I think I am going home. I will do my homework there by myself." Rob left. Ryan looked over at Jay and said "I guess you are going home too?" Jay looked over at me and back to Ryan. He said "You might think I am afraid of you, but I am not. I am going to stay here and do my homework," and with that he walked into the dining room and began to lay his work out. Ryan looked over at me, shook his head and joined Jay in the dining room. Things were quiet for a while and then, I heard Jay ask Ryan a question. Ryan answered him honestly and as helpful as he always had. They began to talk about their homework and it seemed that everything returned to normal except Rob had gone home. I placed the thawed stew beef in my pressure cooker and started cooking it under fifteen pounds of pressure. After it had cooked, I cooled it down and took the pressure counterweight off. I opened the lid, looked at the meat, and poked it with my cooking fork. It was tender. I added salt and pepper, stirred the pot, and added the vegetables. I placed the lid back on the pot, started it cooking and when it was time; I placed the pressure counterweight on it. I cooked that for a while, and while it was cooking, I mixed up a batch of corn muffins and placed them in the oven. I walked over to the refrigerator and while standing there, I heard Jay say "Ryan, you really hurt my balls awhile ago. You didn't have to be that mean." Ryan responded "Jay, I am not going to stand by and listen to you make comments about Myles. I said what I said, and I meant what I said. You better never say anything about Myles ever again, or I will keep my word." There was no more conversation. They finished their homework, Jay packed up and left. Ryan packed his stuff up and walked into the kitchen. He said "I know you heard our fight." I said "Yes, I did. Do you want to talk about it?" He said "Not really, because if I do I will get mad again, and I am ready to calm down, enjoy supper, watch some TV, and go to bed." Phil walked into the house and looked at both of us. He said "Where are the other two munchkins?" Ryan said "They have gone home, and it is a good thing because Jay and I almost came to blows." Phil looked at me and I mouthed "Later." Phil excused himself and headed to the shower. Ryan asked what was I cooking? I told him, and he took the bowls out of the cabinet and the spoons out of the drawer while I cooled the pressure cooker, opened it and placed the beef stew in a bowl. He placed the bowls on the counter along with the salt and pepper shakers. We waited until Phil returned before doing anything else. The muffins were ready, so I took them out of the oven while Ryan filled the glasses with ice and tea. We sat down and had a very quiet dinner. Ohhhhh, there was talking, but it was low key and mostly related to Phil's work at the development. After we had eaten, I took over, did the clean-up, and strongly encouraged Ryan to go to the family room to watch TV. Phil joined him, and I busied myself in the kitchen. I finished cleaning in a few minutes, as there was not really much to do. I joined them in the family room. I sat down by Ryan, pulled him to me, kissed him on the top of the head and said "I am so proud of you for standing up for Myles. I don't want you to become a bully, but you have the right to demand respect for yourself and your brother." He turned, looked at me and said "Dad, I don't think I have ever been that mad, it was like a power surge came over me. I realize, I could have really hurt Jay, but I think he got the message." I said "Well anytime anyone has you by the balls, you have a tendency to give them you undivided attention." Phil was sitting in the loveseat, but he was listening to our conversation. We finished our little chat and Phil said "Ryan, I got a phone call last night from Brandon. He will be coming in Wednesday night and I thought it would be a good idea to go out to dinner. What is your suggestion for a place to go?" Ryan thought for a few minutes, and said "I think we should go to Longhorns, I think I remember one down around your mom's house when we went down there. They have some really good steaks." Phil thought about it, and said "I agree." I was thankful that they did not expect me to cook Wednesday night, not that I wouldn't, but I had other things that needed my attention. We watched a comedy on one of the channels, and when it was over, I told everyone good night and headed to the bedroom. I took a hot and relaxing shower, put on a pair of boxer briefs, and got in bed. Phil joined me in about thirty minutes. I had not fallen asleep yet, but I was really relaxed. He said "Doug, what happened between Ryan and Jay?" I replied "All I know is that everything was running normally while they were in the pool, and all of a sudden there was a major disagreement. I walked to the doors and saw Ryan holding Jay by the nuts and getting in his face about some comment that he had made about Myles. I have never seen Ryan that angry, but I really do believe that he could have ripped Jay's balls off this afternoon, and I really think Jay thought so, too." Phil said "Jay runs his mouth without thinking," and I said "And it has cost him in the past, but hopefully Ryan got his attention this afternoon." As we lay there, I asked him if he had any idea as to what Brandon's trip concerned. He said "I have thought and thought about it, I reflected back on my calls with Mom and nothing comes to mind. I hope he just wants to come see us, but my gut tells me that there is more to it." I turned on my side and said "There is nothing that we can do about it tonight, so let's try for a better night of sleep." Phil chuckled and said "I heard that!" Tuesday and Wednesday mornings were not easy mornings because, neither Phil nor I, have had a good night's rest. There is something in the back of our minds that will not let us totally relax. I figure Phil's has to do with Brandon's upcoming visit, and mine seems to center on Myles. I have contacted the lawyer, and he is working on what needs to be done, but something just keeps nagging me behind a opaque section of my brain. I can tell you that neither one of us had time to lay there and think through these issues as we had to get up, get dressed and go our separate ways. We had cereal both morning before the boys arrived. Everything seemed normal with them, but Jay was unusually low- key. Now as you can expect, that can be good and that can be bad. My money was on bad. We arrived at school each morning, and I did my usual visit to the office while they headed to their waiting area. The school secretary asked me if she could see me later that day, and I told her that we could talk during my planning period. She said that she would come to my classroom as there was very little privacy in the main office. I left and a couple of my department members walked with me to our section of the school. As we walked, they talked about some of the students that they had this year. It seems that a vast majority of the students are not prepared for the higher sciences. We decided to call a department meeting on the following Wednesday which would give everyone time to plan for the meeting and discuss the issue that they had described. I suggested that we explore the issue ourselves first, and then, ask for a district person to come and meet with us. They thought that was a good idea. Since we had reached a plan of action, they went to their rooms while, I went to mine. The bell sounded and the students began to fill the classrooms. I greeted my students as they entered the classroom. They seemed to be in an abnormally good mood for a Wednesday, so I asked why. They explained that the first football pep rally would be held on Friday morning, and the game that night. This was a big deal with these students as the football program had been suspended last year for inappropriate actions by the players and coaches. I have to admit, I was ready for some football action, but I didn't know if I was going to be able to attend because Brandon was coming into town and we would be entertaining him, until he left. It hit me then and there, I had not checked out the guest room. I had to get home this afternoon and make sure that everything was ready for him to use the room. I called Phil, but remembered that he was in a meeting with several of the bankers regarding the development so, I hung up. I just wrote myself a big note and placed it where I could see it reminding me to go straight home and check things out. The classes ran smoothly as there were some questions, explanations and a demonstration, because we were preparing for a test on Friday. I had a quick lunch and returned to my classroom. I checked on Myles, and then, I called the front office to make sure that I could get the textbooks that I needed to work with him. Mrs. Whittaker, the school's secretary joined me near the end of my planning period. She told me that she needed to complete some paperwork so that I could be paid for my Home Bound services. We completed the paperwork, and she asked about the student who would be receiving these services. I explained that he was a neighborhood boy who was very near and dear to me. I said "Well Mrs. Whittaker, the truth will come out soon, he is my son, and there is a lot to the story, but he is mine and I just found out last week. I am over the moon because of that information. I want every reason to be with him. He has always been a part of my household and now, it is official. She asked if I was going to adopt him. I told her that I had left those issues up to the lawyer, but he definitely would be having a name change as it means so much to him. She smiled and said "Mr. Brunson, I would say that you are one lucky man. Myles, you say?, well he is a lucky young man, and I am so happy for all of you. I will be available to help in any way; you just let me know." I thanked her; she left and headed back to the office. Lunch was over, and the students began to enter the room for my last class of the day. As the students were getting their materials ready for class, they began to talk about the upcoming football game. I listened and commented wherer and when appropriate, but I guided the conversation back to the lesson of the day with a reminder that I could talk about anything they wanted to talk about, but that would not prepare them for Friday's test. They groaned and moaned, but understood what I had said. The last bell of the day rang and the halls were full of students hurrying for the parking lot, the loading areas, or the school buses. I stepped back into the classroom and began to tidy up the areas and pack my stuff to go home. The boys walked in and caught me in my cleaning mode. Ryan said "Well, I can see that you are in a slight panic, did you forget to do something at the house?" I turned and looked at him "Yes, I did, and since you are so adept at figuring that out, figure what you are going to be doing when we get home." He smiled and said "Whatever my Dad tells me to." Jay asked "So who is coming?" Ryan said "Brandon, Phil's brother is coming for a few days." Rob and Jay said "Awesome! We really liked him when we went down for their father's funeral." I said "Boys, I am not sure what he has to accomplish while he is here, but he and Phil evidently have some business to attend to, so he may or may not be available for fun things." Rob said "I hope that he can do some stuff with us, he was real friendly and nice." I finished what I was doing, and we left the school. We arrived at the house; everybody grabbed their stuff, and carried it inside. I dropped my stuff in my office, while the boys dropped theirs in the dining room. I walked over to the guest bedroom, and it was spotless. Ryan walked in behind me, and said "Wow! Who did this?" I just stood there because it definitely was not the way I would have fixed it, but it was unique and clean. Phil walked in shortly thereafter, and asked if I had checked the guest room. I told him that I had and asked him, "How did you manage to do it?' He said that he saw where I had tried to call him on his phone, and that he began to think 'Why would I be calling him?' and remembered that I had not been on a tear about getting the guest room ready, so he figured that he would come by and check on it. He found that it needed some tidying up, so he did some cleaning and added a few things that Brandon would appreciate. I told him that from now on he was in charge of the guest room. He politely declined, and we all laughed. Jay wanted to know if he had heard from Brandon, and Phil said that he had. He said "I think he should be ringing the doorbell right about now," and sure enough, the doorbell sounded. We walked to the door, and let Phil open it. There stood Brandon. We stepped back and allowed him to enter. He had no sooner crossed the threshold than the questions began to fly "How long will you be here?" "Are you up to do so fun things?" "Can we talk?" "Why are you carrying a hanging bag? Where is your luggage?" "Are you hungry?" "Are you ready to go to your room?" Honestly, I felt for him, but he seemed to handle it with no problems. After all, he is the father of three young sons. Phil said "Okay guys, let him go put his stuff down, and then, we can gather in the family room. Phil led him down the hall and opened the guest room door. He placed his hanging bag in the room and joined us in the family room. Phil said "The first bit of business has to be - what do you want to eat?" Brandon looked around the room, and said "When in Rome, you do as the Romans do." I snickered, and Phil shot me a look. Ryan said "See Dad, he is just like Phil, no help when it comes to decision making." Phil said "Hold on there, I can make a decision." Ryan said "Yeah, if you decide where we are eating, we all know it will be Mexican, and then, we will suffer afterwards." I started to say something to Ryan, but Brandon spoke up "So things haven't changed huh, brother boy?" Ryan got a good laugh off of that one, but Phil was slightly embarrassed. He looked over at Brandon and said "That's one, and I will keep count, but remember this door swings both ways. You get too mouthy, and I have stories to share too." Jay snickered and said "A brother war, I love those!" I spoke up, and said "We truly need to decide on where we are going to eat tonight." Rob and Jay looked at Brandon, and said "We have to go home, but we will see you before you go back home." They grabbed their stuff and headed to their homes. Brandon looked around the room and asked "Where's the fourth?" I said "I will be brief right now, but will go into more detail later. Myles has been diagnosed with Ewings' Sarcoma, and his mom has him staying at home since he started chemotherapy." Brandon shook his head, and said "I hate cancer, because it does so much damage to the individual and to their family." Phil said "Brandon, let's try to dwell on the positive." Brandon seemed to get Phil's message and nothing more was said. We stood and Phil looked at me "You are driving, and you make the decision." We walked outside and were soon on our way. I decided to honor last night's discussion and headed to Longhorns. I parked, and we entered. We requested a booth for four and were seated within fifteen minutes. Ryan and I sat together while Phil and Brandon sat across from us. It was interesting to see these two brothers interact. I had watched some of it when I went to Phil's Mom and Dad's earlier in the year, but times were stressful, and it was not a pleasure trip. At this time, we really did not know the reason for Brandon's visit, so we were still being very cautious with our questions and comments. Finally, Brandon said "Guys, I know you are wondering why am I here? I can feel it in what you are saying and more importantly, in what you are not saying. I just have some family business to discuss with Phil. It is not earth shattering, but it is vital to the family. I could tell that Phil was somewhat relieved, but knowing Phil, I knew that he would not be totally relieved until Brandon put everything in front of him. We placed our drink orders, and ordered an order of Texas Tonions, and stuffed mushrooms as appetizers. Our waiter brought our drinks, and we placed our meal orders. Ryan ordered a rib-eye while the rest of us ordered a fire-grilled T-bone. Our sides were baked potatoes and a house salad. The appetizers arrived, and we began to munch on them. I didn't eat much as I really wanted to enjoy my t-bone. Our salads were brought to our table along with a loaf of freshly cooked bread. Soon, our entrees were served and we began to eat. We talked about a number of things, but we really focused on asking Brandon about his family, his sister and his Mom. He gave detailed reports on each, and as he did, Phil began to relax and actually had a smile on his face. We finished our meal and headed home. I decided to stop at Michelle's because I wanted Brandon to see Myles. Brandon and I walked to the door, rang the doorbell and Myles answered the door. He looked at me, and then, he focused on Brandon. He said "Aren't you Phil's brother?" Brandon said "Absolutely, but I am the better looking one!" Myles said "I'm gonna have to remember that one to use on my brother." He opened the door wider as we entered the house. I motioned back to Phil and he took over the driving and took Ryan home. I introduced Brandon to Michelle, and we sat around talking. Brandon asked a number of questions about Myles' cancer and his treatments. Michelle began to answer in easy terms, but Brandon began to ask more detailed questions, so she looked at me, and I said "Brandon and Phil's Dad had cancer and they had a lot of meetings with the medical staff at Moffitt in Tampa. He is probably up on the treatments, terminology, and side effects." Michelle began to talk to Brandon about some of the side effects that were possible with the chemotherapy that had been prescribed for Myles. As they talked, I could tell that Myles was getting fidgety, so I turned to him and began a private conversation. That lasted until Myles grabbed my hand and said "Let's go to my room." We entered his room, and he closed the door. He sat on his bed, looked at me and said "Dad, you've gotta get me out of here. I am about to go stark raving mad. All is see is the same four walls, the same TV programs, read the same books, and lay in this bed or on the sofa in the living room. I want to go to your house and spend the night with Ryan. I am missing you guys so much, and now with Brandon here, I am really feeling left out." I could tell that he was really having a hard time being isolated. I said "I will talk to your Mom about you coming to the house on Friday night. Will that work for you?" He said "That will be okay, but I want to be there as much as possible. I was thinking, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights." I thought to myself that Michelle would probably not want him there that long, but we would see how it played out, so I promised him that we would talk with her privately as we did not want to put her on the spot in front of a guest. He understood. He hugged me. We stood and returned to the living room. As we entered, Brandon was saying that we probably needed to go on home as he wanted to talk to Phil some tonight, and that he was sure that I had school work to do. I agreed, and told Michelle that we needed to talk about a few things. She looked at Myles and said "Have you been begging and negotiating?" He blushed, and she said "I thought so." I spoke up and said "I think I will walk Brandon to the house and come back down for a chat." Myles beamed and Michelle said "That would be great. I think we have several things to discuss." Brandon said his goodbyes, and I promised to return shortly. Brandon and I began walking down to my house. He stopped and said "Doug, this may seem like a strange question, but why are you so involved with Myles?" I said "Remember earlier when I told you about his cancer and said there was more to the story? Well there is, Myles is my son." Brandon stopped and asked "You were cheating on your wife?" I laughed and said "No, it is more involved than that." I began to tell him about the need for a back-up plan for the bone marrow if warranted, the blood tests, and the fact that there was not another blood relative except Michelle. I said "As the doctors discussed the need to explore donor banks, Michelle broke down and told us that she had used the services of a sperm donor bank in Atlanta. All she knew about the donor was the ID that she had been given. She said the number, and I thought it sounded familiar. I did some deep thinking and realized it was my ID number. I think I yelled BINGO! or something like that. I was so happy, because I had wanted more children, but Allison didn't right after Ryan was born, and the divorce sealed that deal. Michelle and the doctors were shocked to say the least. I had to undergo a DNA test just to be sure, and it confirmed that I am his biological Dad. I will be the donor in the event that Myles needs bone marrow." Brandon stopped and looked at me. He asked "Doug, do you realize what odds you guys have dealt with?" I said "Brandon, I think about it constantly. I cannot believe that he has lived down the street from me, played with Ryan, spent nights at my house, traveled with me and Ryan, and now he is proven to be my son." We resumed walking with Brandon saying "The odds are incredible, I would give anything to be able to beat odds like that on the lottery." We laughed, and I agreed. We stopped at his Tahoe, and he opened the back. He reached in and grabbed a letter sized plastic tote, handed it to me, and then, he grabbed another one. He locked his vehicle, and we walked into the house. Phil met us in the entranceway and took the tote that I was holding, from me, and walked with Brandon to the guest bedroom. I walked in Ryan's bedroom and told him that I was going back to talk to Michelle about Myles spending some time with us, and he said "Thank God, I have missed him so much. Tell her that I am pleading for him to come spend the night!" I drove back to Michelle's, got out, walked to the front door, did a knock, opened the door and entered. Michelle and Myles were sitting in the living room on the sofa. I walked around and sat down in the arm chair. Michelle looked at me and said "I have an idea as to what this meeting is about, so let me cut through the thick of it and say 'YES', Myles can go visit at your house." Myles looked at me with that pleading look of his. I said "Well that is part of it, but we were thinking Thursday night through Saturday night." She then inquired "So what does he do Friday while everyone is either at work or school?" I said "I think that Brandon will be there, so he can spend time with Myles, and we are just a phone call away." Michelle sat quietly for a few minutes, and said "Check with Brandon first." I texted Phil and had him ask Brandon. The answer was fast and stated that he would definitely do it. I told Michelle, and she said "Well, I know how Myles feels because I am having the same feelings. I may just take time, travel to Savannah, and visit some old friends while he is enjoying time at your house." Myles and I said almost in unison "Sounds like a plan!" Michelle said that she would drop him off after I got home Thursday afternoon and then, she would begin her trip. She said that she would have all of his stuff packed with instructions. After some more discussion about things in general, I got up hugged both of them and drove home. I entered the house, and Ryan started questioning me. I told him that Myles would spend Thursday through Saturday nights with us. He was excited and began to think of things for them to do. I had to remind him that we had to be careful, because we could not just take Myles to places where there were crowds of people who might have some illness that he could contract. He slowed down and said "I will wait until he gets here, and then, we will make plans and run them by you." He thanked me for making the visit possible, hugged me, and headed to his room. I walked to my bedroom, but Phil was not there. I took a quick shower, put on some boxers, and got in bed. I dropped off to sleep and later, I felt the bed move. I woke up to find that Phil had joined me in bed. I said "Are things okay?" He said "I'll know more tomorrow. He is going to go to work with me. I will bring him home after lunch. This will give us some time to do some talking, and then, we will talk some more, tomorrow night. I think asking him to keep Myles Friday was a good idea because he is missing his boys." Phil stretched out, rolled over, spooned me from the back, and pulled me close to him. His patterned breathing and brief puffs on my neck soon had me asleep. We had a more restful night, because Brandon had finally arrived, and it seemed that there was no drama tied to his visit. In the morning, Phil raced me to the bathroom and jumped in the shower, while I shaved, we then, traded places. We dressed, walked out of the bedroom, and I started breakfast. I began to mix and cook pancakes while Phil walked down to wake Brandon and rap on Ryan's door. He returned and reported that both of the guys were up and would join us soon. Brandon and Ryan came into the kitchen, grabbed a plate and loaded it up with pancakes. They passed the syrup bottle around and Phil said "Brandon, you may need to make more visits, as we never get pancakes during the week." Ryan chuckled, but said "Phil, you better tread easy here, because you didn't see the look that you just got from Dad." Phil said "Ohhhhhh, I got a look huh, well two can play that game," and he gave me a stare, but couldn't hold it as he started laughing. Brandon asked Ryan "Are they always like this, or is there something in the air this morning?" Ryan said "Most of the time. I have learned to go with the flow or just ignore them." The front door opened and Rob and Jay entered with their book-bags. We finished breakfast, rinsed our plates, placed them in the dishwasher, grabbed our things and headed off to school while Phil and Brandon loaded up and headed to the development. I had a great day with my students as we reviewed for Friday's test. I used a PowerPoint presentation / game that I had developed last year with some modifications. The students in all of my classes enjoyed it, and I could tell that it really was helping them retain the information from the week's lessons. The day ended rather fast. The boys arrived after school; we walked out of the classroom, got in the Denali and headed home. I raised the garage door and parked in the garage. The boys grabbed their stuff and headed to the dining room table. Jay tried to get them to hit the pool first, but Rob and Ryan held their ground because they had tests in three subjects on Friday, and they wanted to make a great impression on the teacher, plus earn a good grade. Jay gave up, and soon, they were reviewing the information for Friday's tests. There was some arguing about some of the answers, and the challenge was then, to the one objecting, that he had to prove his claim in the material that they had read or written in their notes. It was evident to me that they had taken comprehensive notes and knew where the information was found in their texts. As they studied, I began to cook supper. I decided to make a large casserole of macaroni, onions, tomatoes, fried cube steak, gravy, and cheese. This is a layered casserole and is one that my grandmother used to make when I would visit her on holidays. It takes time as the onions have to be finely chopped, the cube steak fried, cheese grated and gravy made from the fried steak drippings.. I finished preparing the dish and had placed it in the oven when Phil and Brandon came home. I looked at Phil and said "I thought this was just a morning thing. He said "It started out that way, but we decided to extend it. I turned to Brandon and asked "How did things go?" He started giving me a run-down on what he had seen, and you could tell that he really held Phil in high esteem. He was extremely proud of what his brother had accomplished and ended it by saying that he really wished that his Dad was still living, so that he could see Phil's great work. I looked over at Phil, and he had a little moisture in his eyes. Phil told Brandon to go shower, and join us in the kitchen afterwards. Phil left to get his shower while Brandon headed to the guest bathroom. After Brandon had finished his shower and returned to the kitchen, the boys called for him to join them at the dining room table. He did, and they began to talk to him about a variety of subjects. Ryan really wanted to know the names of some of the attractions in New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, and Tampa. Brandon detailed several places to them, and then, Phil returned from his shower and called Brandon to the family room. Phil pulled out the landscape renderings and blueprints for the entire development and began to show Brandon where they had visited that day and described the plans for the complete development along with its timeline. I called to Ryan and asked him to set the counter with plates, cutlery, and glasses. Rob and Jay took that as a hint that they should head home, so they did. In about five minutes after they had left, the front door opened, and in walked Myles and Michelle. Myles made a big production of visiting the house by getting down on his knees, bending over the floor and kissing it. Michelle pushed him down on the floor with her foot which brought laughter from all of us. She turned to me and said "Doug, do you remember the story of Ransom of Red Chief?" I laughed and said "Yes." She then continued "Well, you've got him for the next few days, and it may just cost you for me to take him back!" Myles turned and looked at her and said "You know that's not true, because I know you love me but I also love being with Dad and my brother. They love me, too.." Michelle made her exit after giving me a schedule for Myles' medications. I took the casserole out of the oven while Ryan added another plate, cutlery and a glass to the counter. Myles wanted to help, so I let him fill the glasses with ice and pour the tea. We sat down and began to eat. Myles ate a good meal, and frankly, so did everybody else. There was nothing left in the dish. Phil volunteered to do cleanup while I relaxed in the family room with the boys and Brandon. We enjoyed the time together, and as soon as the kitchen was clean, Phil joined us. Phil turned on the TV and found an old western that he and Brandon had watched as kids, so we watched it until eleven o'clock. I sent the boys to Ryan's room, and I walked to my bedroom leaving Phil and Brandon in the family room talking. I stripped down to my boxer briefs and was about to get in the bed when I suddenly remembered that I needed something out of my office. I decided since it was basically family in the house, I could walk to my office in my boxer briefs. I did, and as I walked through the kitchen Phil whistled and commented. I turned fifty shades of red, but I also took the time to give him a 'I'll kill you later look.' Brandon laughed, and I continued on my journey. As I walked by Ryan's room, I could not help, but hear them talking and laughing. It was so good to hear this chatter because I really had missed it since Myles' diagnosis. I don't think he had laughed in weeks, so this was definitely good therapy. I continued to my office, grabbed my supplemental text and started walking back to my room. I had to stop one more time and listen to the boys. I so wanted to open the door and see what was going on, but I didn't. I was happy that they were together and enjoying themselves. I walked back through the kitchen and told Phil that it was time for him to call it a night as I did not want to deal with a grumpy person in the morning. Brandon started to tell me a story about Phil being a morning grump, but Phil put a stop to that with a couple of words. Brandon and Phil got up and headed to their beds. Phil joined me in the bedroom by plopping down on the bed. He said "Doug, it doesn't seem like Brandon and I have been away from each other for about ten years, but we have. It took a few minutes for us to refresh our relationship as brothers, and then, things just began to click. I realized tonight how much I miss him, and I think he realized how much he misses me. I hope that he and I can begin to visit each other more often as I really want to get to know my nephews and his wife Becca." I said "I think you should make an effort to visit him more often and include visits to your Mom and sister too. You have a family, and you should be with them because they love and accept you. I go and visit mine but I know that my Mom would not be accepting of my current lifestyle, because she even had problems when I was married to Allison. My Mom is just a miserable woman." Phil said "I feel for you Doug, but I don't know what to say except, I love you and I want to be with you until my last breath on this earth." I leaned over, kissed him and said "Go to bed before you get something started." Phil got out of bed, walked to the bathroom, returned, stripped down to his boxer briefs, and got in bed. He backed up to my back, and that little bit of pressure felt so good. I lay there thinking about how much I had to be thankful for tonight. I had both of my sons under my roof along with my partner and his brother. I lay there and replayed Myles entering the house tonight, and then, the laughter that I heard when I walked by Ryan's room. I hope that this weekend will be good for Myles, but I have to talk to Brandon tomorrow about his medications and his routine. In a few minutes, I felt myself getting drowsy, and the next thing I knew, it was morning. Phil had woke up earlier than me and had started his shower. I joined him in the shower, and soon, we were getting dressed. I hurried to the kitchen and laid out the bowls and cereal. Ryan and Myles walked into the kitchen, grabbed a box of cereal and a bowl, added some milk and began to eat. Ryan was dressed in a school polo and shorts with deck shoes while Myles was in boxer briefs, t-shirt and no shoes. Brandon joined us, and I quickly gave him a rundown regarding Myles' medications and needs. Myles said "Brandon, don't worry, I will help you with the meds, and I don't need to be treated like a baby." No sooner had Myles got that sentence out of his mouth than the front door opened and in walked Jay and Rob. Rob greeted Myles while Jay greeted Brandon, almost ignoring Myles. It did not escape Myles' attention, and he called Jay on it. Jay turned around and said "Myles, I knew you were there, and Rob spoke to you so you should consider that as from me too. I spoke to Brandon and he is not fussing that Rob hasn't spoken to him." Rob looked around and said "Jay, don't bring me into your lack of bad manners. I spoke to Myles because he was looking in my direction, and I have really missed him." Jay said "Oh yeah, I have missed him too, but Brandon is here, and we can't ignore him." Phil interceded and said "Okay, enough of this bickering, I have to go to work. Brandon, you have my number if you need me. Doug, I will send you a text later as I have an idea for a meal while Brandon is here." I said "Oh gee thanks! I will look forward to receiving your text and slapped him on his butt as he walked past me." Jay turned to me and said "Pops, I think you need to hold that PDA (public display of affection) down a tad!" I looked over at him and said "I can give you one too; in fact, I think you probably need one." I walked toward him, and he ran into the dining room. I said "Boys, it's time to go so we walked to the garage, got in and headed to school. We arrived at the school, and I headed to the teacher's workroom to pick up my tests. I checked my box, and they had not been copied. I almost hit panic mode, but Sarah Ann Mendleson, the clerk in charge of the copy room saw me, and said "Mr. Brunson, hold on a minute, we had issues with the copier yesterday, and I am behind, but since you always abide by the rules, I will copy your tests right now so you can start your testing without problems." I thanked her profusely and made a note to myself to send her an appropriate thank you gift on Monday. I greeted my students, answered any last minute questions regarding the material that would be covered on the test, and sidetracked one student's efforts to stall for more time. I walked the classroom as the students were testing and decided that on the next test, I was going to let them have an open book test just to see how many could locate the information in the text. As the students finished their tests, they raised their hands, and I picked them up. I told the students that they could work or study for another class until everyone had finished testing. I began to grade the tests that I had collected and was pleased to see that most of the students were showing that they really did understand the chapter that we had just completed. I finished grading my morning classes during my planning period. As I was clearing my desk, Phil texted with a request that we have BBQ ribs/chicken, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, garlic bread, and something sweet for dinner one night. I texted back that I would add some grilled corned to the menu and I would think about the dessert, but we would have that menu on Saturday night because I didn't have all of the ingredients at the house and it was pretty labor intensive. I told him that I was planning on a large pot of spaghetti, a salad, breadsticks, and an angel food cake with strawberries. He returned a text with "YUM." I had just finished reading his text when my students entered the room for the last class of the day. I followed my morning procedures and soon testing was underway. I was unable to grade many of the tests because this class seemed to take an extraordinary amount of time on the last essay question. The bell sounded, and class was over. Several students handed me their test papers and said that they really needed five more minutes. I asked if they could stay a little late, and they said that they could, so I told them to go back and finish. I stepped to the doorway as I wanted to catch the boys before they made their grand entrance. It was a good thing that I was at the doorway as Jay was in one of his moods and had both Rob and Ryan arguing with him about some computer game. I met them down the hallway and explained that I had a couple of students testing and that they would have to wait outside. I walked back into the classroom and began to gather my things to take home which included the tests from the last class. I had everything ready to go when the two students finished their testing. True to their word, they finished in about five minutes and left the classroom. The boys walked to the doorway, and I told them to head out to the parking lot. I joined them, and we went home. I dropped Rob and Jay off at their homes and then, Ryan and I headed to the grocery store. I picked up the items that I needed to cook tonight's dinner plus the things that I needed to cook Saturday night's dinner. We finished shopping, checked out with a cashier that I had never seen before and headed home. We walked into the house carrying the bags of groceries and were met by Myles who wanted to know why we didn't stop and pick him up? I said "Honestly, Myles, I forgot that you were here, but I am planning on cooking one of your favorites tonight." He smiled and said "Lasagna or spaghetti?" I said "Spaghetti." I told him and Ryan to start working on the salad while I began to brown the ground beef / ground chuck mixture. I chopped an onion and added it to the browned meat. I added my tomatoes and spices and let it simmer on the stove while I changed clothes. Ryan broke into a big grin when he saw me place the Bundt pan on the counter because he knew what I was going to fix for dessert. I mixed the angel food cake, placed it in the oven and prepared the breadsticks by placing melted garlic butter on them and allowing them to sit until I was ready to warm them. I washed and cleaned the strawberries, cut them up, added some sugar and let them sit in the refrigerator. The boys finished the salad and placed it in the refrigerator. In the meantime, I asked Myles about his day, and he told me that he and Brandon had gone to Wendy's for lunch, and later, to a garden center to buy something for Phil. Phil arrived, sampled the spaghetti sauce, spoke to the boys, and headed to our bedroom for his after work shower. Brandon joined me in the kitchen and started the spaghetti cooking. I tended to the final moments of the sauce while Ryan and Myles placed the plates, cutlery, glasses and the tea pitcher on the counter. Myles pulled the salad out of the refrigerator and the tongs out of the drawer. Ryan added the Italian Dressing to the salad and tossed it. Brandon drained the spaghetti and placed it in a bowl, while I placed the sauce in another bowl. Everybody gathered at the counter, Brandon asked the blessing and everybody began to place food on their plates and we were soon eating. After everyone had finished, I set the Angel Food cake on the counter along with the bowl of strawberries. I didn't have to tell anyone what to do. They cut themselves a slice of cake and spooned the strawberries over it. We finished eating, and I began to clean the kitchen while Phil and Brandon resumed work with their family paperwork. Ryan and Myles joined me and helped. I leaned back against the counter and watched them work and interact together. It brought a tear to my eye to think that my two sons were with me, and we were going to spend some quality time together tonight, since this was the first time that I had them by myself since learning that Myles was my son. We finished in the kitchen and headed to the family room. I lay on the sofa, and Myles worked himself in front of me while Ryan lay down on the floor. Ryan turned around, smiled at me, and said to me "Dad, this is just like we used to do a few years ago, but in a way it's different because we don't have the other two." I said "Yes, I was just thinking that when you turned around." Around nine thirty, Phil and Brandon joined us and reported that they had completely finished their work and were now free to participate in some activities tomorrow. They lay down on the floor with Ryan. In a few minutes, Myles slid down on the floor, so that he could lie next to Ryan. All of the brothers were on the floor, and I was on the sofa, I could deal with that, and I did. After our second movie ended, I got up, told the boys it was bedtime, and everyone headed to their beds. Phil and I took a shower together, toweled off, and got into bed naked. This was the first time in about a week that we had done that, and it felt so good. I rolled over on my side and let my right hand glide over his chest, abs, treasure trail, pubes, cock and balls. As my hand roamed he began to harden and started leaking some pre-cum. I got some on my hand, and I brought it to his lips. He licked it, and I went back for more. This time, I licked it and smiled. He leaned up and kissed me on the lips, then forced me onto my back. He took control and began to nibble on my ears, neck, chin, and nips as he moved lower. He found that I too, had stiffened and was leaking pre-cum. He tongued my cock from my pubes to the tip. He swirled his tongue around the head and into the slit. He glanced up at me and said "That is some sweet sauce right there." I took his head in my hands and pulled him up for a long sexy kiss. He pulled away and was working his way back down to my cock. He nuzzled in my pubes and pulled and sucked on my balls while rubbing my taint. I spread my legs and he took that as an invitation to raise them over his shoulders. He moved in, placed his cock at the entrance to my hole and gradually slid into me. He bottomed out, and then, he began that in and out motion that drives me crazy. I pulled him tightly to me as I wanted every bit of his cock in me. He leaned down and kissed me while he was rubbing all of the right places. His constant rubbing of my prostate began to make me feel an impending ejaculation. I felt my balls draw up, juices began their journey up, and I started spurting cum on both of us. He encouraged me to get that cream out. I tightened down on him as I was spurting and soon afterwards he released his juices in me. He lay down on me; we kissed each other, and made some small talk. He actually lay there too long because when he moved he pulled hair from my chest. He got up out of bed, walked to our bathroom, got a warm washcloth, returned and began to clean me up. He cleaned himself and threw the washcloth through the open bathroom door. I heard it land on the floor, but I didn't care. I felt so wonderful after Phil made love to me. I thought that tomorrow night it would be my night to pleasure him. I lay there and slowly drifted off to sleep. I awoke to find that Phil had already gotten up and left me in the bed. He had somehow shaved, showered and dressed without waking me up. I scrambled to get out of bed and into the bathroom. I took care of my morning rituals, dressed and hurried to the kitchen. Phil, Brandon, Ryan, and Myles were seated at the counter eating biscuits and hashbrowns from Hardees. Phil asked "Did you have a restful night?" I said that I did. He said "I got up, you were still asleep, I called your name and there was no answer, so I figured that if we were going to eat this morning, I had to go get it, because you know me and cooking are kinda not made for one another. Ryan spoke up and said "Yeah, and we didn't want the fire truck to show up." Phil got this look on his face, and said "Well, maybe some of us didn't, but maybe one of us wouldn't have minded." I walked over and punched him in the ribs as I grabbed a biscuit and began to eat. Breakfast was very laid back. Everybody was dressed, so Brandon and Phil decided to run a few errands for Phil's Company, while I took the boys and ran a few errands for the house. We finished our errands and returned home. Phil and Brandon took the boys to a movie while I stayed home and prepared the chicken breasts and ribs. I washed the chicken breasts, added some seasonings and returned them to the refrigerator. I pulled the ribs out, cut them up, filled my large pot with water, added the ribs with some lemon slices and seasonings, allowed them to boil until they were tender, took them off the stove and drained them. I seasoned them again, and let the seasonings soak into the meat. I covered the ribs with aluminum foil until I was ready for them to go on the grill. I started the baked beans cooking, mixed the peaches for the peach cobbler, and shucked five ears of fresh sweet corn. I placed the cobbler in the oven, and since I had things moving along, I sliced the potatoes and placed them in a casserole dish along with the rest of the ingredients for potatoes au gratin. I put the dish in the refrigerator until I was ready to put it in the oven. I tended to the baked beans as they have a tendency to dry out if you don't keep them stirred and moist. Phil, Brandon, Ryan and Myles returned and had to tell me about the movie. Afterwards, Ryan and Myles returned to the kitchen and wanted something to eat. I told them that there were a couple packs of crackers in the pantry, and that they could eat those until we had our late lunch / early dinner. Ryan wanted to grumble, but looked over, saw the peach cobbler, smiled, grabbed the two packs of crackers and two soft drinks from the refrigerator. They walked out and sat in the chairs around the pool. I began to mix the sauce for the ribs and chicken breasts. I tasted it, and it was exactly the way I wanted it. I brushed a light coat on the ribs, resealed the aluminum foil, and turned my attention to slicing and buttering the bread. Phil and Brandon returned from the backyard. Brandon said "Something smells good in here." He looked over and saw the peach cobbler, and he gave me a 'Ryan smile'. I chuckled, and said "Well, you and Ryan will be happy tonight." He smiled. Phil looked at the clock and asked when did I want to start the grill. I told him that he could go ahead and start it now. He left and began to pre-heat the grill. He came back into the kitchen, took the chicken breasts out of the refrigerator, and walked to the grill. He placed them on one end and began to let them slowly cook. I asked Brandon to take the sauce, brush, and tongs to him. He began to smother each breast with the sauce and as the sauce drizzled down onto the burners, the smell began to make its way into the house. Phil sent Brandon back to the kitchen for the ribs, and he placed them on the grill. I buttered the corn and took it to Phil. He moved the meat around on the grill and placed the ears of corn on the grill. He tended to everything while I finished up in the kitchen. Just as I took the bread out of the oven, placed the baked beans and potatoes au gratin on the counter, Phil and Brandon returned with the platters of ribs, chicken breasts and corn. I called the boys, and they came running. Everybody grabbed a plate and started filling it with food. Phil looked over at me and said "Don't you think we could eat in the dining room?" I nodded my head yes, so after we had our plates fixed, we moved to the dining room. Myles and Rob brought the glasses of tea to the table along with the tea pitcher. We enjoyed our meal, and I can say that everyone was hungry because there were only two ribs and one chicken breast left. The baked beans and potatoes au gratin had maybe two tablespoons left in the dishes while all of the corn was eaten. Brandon looked down at me and said "I know that there is a peach cobbler hiding around here somewhere." I said "You are right, but do you have room for it now, or would you like to wait about an hour and be able to really enjoy it?" He agreed to wait an hour. Everyone took their plate to the sink, rinsed them along with their cutlery and placed them in the dishwasher. I brought the other dishes back to the kitchen and began to load them in the dishwasher. I cleaned the kitchen while Phil cleaned the area around the grill. After the cleanup was complete, we collapsed in the family room and watched some comedy. I nodded off to sleep, but was awakened by either Myles or Ryan who wanted peach cobbler. I got up, walked to the kitchen, placed the cobbler on the counter, pulled the bowls from the cabinet, placed the spoons by the bowls, and set a gallon of vanilla ice cream by the cobbler. I called everyone to the kitchen and I didn't have to call them twice. Everyone scooped some of the cobbler in a bowl and topped it with ice cream. Brandon kept complimenting it, and finally he said "Phil, I may just have to take Doug home with me!" Phil looked over at me and said "Well, on some days, I would send him" and chuckled. I said "That's one for you." He smiled and said "Bring it on big boy!" I said "Later." Everyone finished, and Ryan did clean-up. We returned to the family room and Ryan set up the Wii. He found a game that would pit two teams against each other. Ryan chose Brandon and Myles took Phil as team mates. I sat back and watched the rivalry of brothers against brothers. Around six-thirty, they finished the last game, sat back, or lay down on the floor. Myles was fidgety, turned to me and wanted to know if they could go swimming. I made sure that his port was covered and said "Yes, but be careful." He stood up and began to take his shirt off, Ryan knew the drill so he did the same thing. They stripped down to nothing, then turned to the rest of us and asked "Aren't you going to join us?" Phil stood up and started to strip, but Brandon didn't budge. Phil got down to his boxer briefs and turned to Brandon and said "Brandon, you don't have anything that the rest of us don't have. I have seen your junk and it ain't nothing to be ashamed of. There is nothing wrong with going skinny dipping. Now get with it or I will help you." He looked my way, and I was down to my boxer briefs. Brandon looked around at me, stood and slowly began to take off his clothes. He took off his shirt and shorts and just had on a pair of short trunk boxers. They helped showcase his body. Both Phil and I had dropped our boxer briefs and were waiting on him. He looked at Phil with somewhat pleading eyes, but Phil didn't cut him any slack. He made an exasperated sound, put his thumbs in the waistband of his underwear and shucked them to the floor. I could not believe the package that he had. He was similar to Phil in that he was cut, about 7 inches in length and medium in width. He trimmed his pubes uniformly and his balls were medium sized. Brandon looked over at me, and when he did Phil reached over and yanked Brandon's dick. That started things as Phil ran from the room and jumped in the pool. Brandon was right behind him and the water wars had begun. Myles and Ryan joined the war. I walked out and dove into the pool, swam underwater and came up between Phil's legs. I knocked him off his feet which gave Brandon an advantage, which he used. Brandon seemed to lose all of his inhibitions, and began to grab at Phil. Myles decided that he wanted in on that game so he started grabbing at Brandon. At first Brandon was stunned, but recovered and started going after the rest of us. I became involved and joined in the fun. I got a chance to feel Brandon up, and he felt nice. After while, we tired and swam to the sides of the pool, pulled ourselves up and sat on the edge of the pool. I was by Brandon and could not help but give him sneak peeks. Phil came over, pulled Brandon backwards and down on the pool deck, and grabbed his cock and balls. He said "Come look at my brother's equipment. Notice how his golden colored hair grows short and curly on his balls. I had noticed that and noted that it was tighter and more golden than Phil's. Myles came over and gave Brandon a look, as did Ryan. Myles then said, "It looks to me like you guys are pretty much similar. I think Ryan and me look about the same, but I am going to be like Dad and have more hair on my chest than Ryan. He said "Come here Ryan and stand by me." Ryan reluctantly did. Myles said "You guys look us over and tell us what you think." Phil walked over and looked. He said "Well you two come with the standard equipment. I think you will both have large mushroom shaped cock heads, your balls are about the same size, and your pubes are growing in about the same, but I think Myles will have more hair on his chest. He grabbed the cocks of both boys, and they began to inflate. Brandon decided to take a look and make a comparison. He agreed with Phil, and he turned them around to see their backs, legs, and butt. Myles was not done. He said "Okay, y'all have looked us over now, it's our turn to look you two over. Stand next to one another." Phil immediately moved next to Brandon. Myles stepped in front of the men and began to eyeball their equipment. He said "Their cocks look the same, Phil may be a fraction of an inch longer, but Brandon is thicker. Brandon's balls hang lower than Phil's and Brandon's ball hair is similar to Phil's but more curlier. Ryan stepped over and did a fast comparison. Brandon asked "Are you guys through?" Phil said "No." Brandon said "No? Why?" Phil said we have someone who has not been inspected so, they forced me to stand and by this time, I was beginning to get a hard-on. All four of them looked at and touched me. I did get a for real hard-on after they began to handle my balls. Myles wanted he and Ryan to stand by me and asked Phil and Brandon to see if they thought we were similar. Phil took great care in handling the goods and making his announcement. Brandon hesitated, but Phil egged him on. Finally he felt my balls and my cock. He said "I think the boys will grow and look just like Doug, and by the way Doug, that is a nice cock that you have." I was beyond ready to come off of display and made my way back to the edge of the pool. Brandon looked over my way and said "My brother has a nice build and I guess I can confess that I enjoyed looking at him naked when we were growing up." Phil said "I always thought you were spying on me." Brandon said "I could just never figure out why you got hair around your dick, and in a few years it happened to me. I saw Phil beat off and was amazed that he spewed something out of his cock and onto his belly. I tried, but I was too young to make sperm, so I just about blistered my cock trying. Dad caught me, explained things and told me that I was a normal boy, but had to be a bit older to have that experience. I know that in a few years, I will be having that talk with my boys." We continued to talk about sex, cocks, balls, pre-cum, and cum. Around eight-thirty I got up, walked into the house and grabbed towels. We all dried off, wrapped the towels around our waists and went inside. Brandon headed to his pile of clothes, but Phil grabbed them and said "We are going to sit naked on our towels. We have seen each other and have nothing to be ashamed of tonight. Brandon rolled his eyes, took his towel off, folded it, placed it on the love seat, sat down and relaxed. Everybody else did the same thing, but placed theirs in the area that they were going to sit. It felt rather strange to be sitting around naked, but it was a good thing. I looked at Ryan as he got up and noticed that he was getting hard. He walked by me, and his cock was bouncing as he walked. Eventually everybody relaxed and seemed to forget that they were naked. I told them that the time in the pool had worn me out, and I was ready for bed. Everybody agreed, and we headed to our rooms. Phil and I went to our room, and I had my way with him. I did him doggie style while I pinched his nips and tongued his neck and ears. I felt under him and he was leaking pre-cum. He tried to get more of me in him. I felt his prostate react when I rubbed over it and his sphincter tightened around my cock. He squeezed me hard and began to unload his cum on the bedspread. I pounded him after he relaxed and soon, I was filling him with my juices. We stayed connected for a few minutes. I pulled out with a plop and moved to my side of the bed. I pulled the sheets down and took the spread off. Phil walked to the bathroom and cleaned up. I joined him. We kissed and walked back to the bed. He told me that he really enjoyed our times together, and I had to agree that I did too. We lay down and fell asleep with me holding him tightly to my chest. I woke up Sunday morning and lay there thinking about our time in the pool. I really did enjoy seeing Brandon naked and told myself secretly, that if I didn't have Phil, I definitely would want Brandon. Phil woke up, got out of bed with a hard-on and went to the toilet. I joined him, and we had to take our time because both of us were hard and it is hard to aim when you are hard. We finally finished and headed to the shower. Phil wanted to play, but I knew that we had several things to do, so I promised him that we would do something later. He pouted, but was soon over it. We dressed and walked to the kitchen. I pulled out the package of bacon, the carton of eggs, two packages of shredded hash browns, the large package of sliced cheese, the milk, and some butter. I grabbed an onion from the pantry, sliced and diced it, and placed it in a bowl. I put Phil to work setting up the plates on the counter and the cutlery on the dining room table. I fried the package of bacon, and covered it in aluminum foil to keep it warm. I took my large cast iron skillet, placed some olive oil in it and heated it. I took the bowl of diced onion and put them in the hot olive oil. I opened the packages of hash browns and put them on top of the onions. I salted them, turned the heat down, placed a lid over the skillet and let them cook while I mixed the batter for pancakes. I took my flat cast iron baker and heated it on the stove, added some cooking oil, and allowed it to get hot. I put Phil to work dropping the batter onto the baker and flipping the pancakes. I checked on the hash browns and they were almost ready. I placed several slices of cheese on them and allowed them to melt. I cracked a dozen eggs and beat them. I found another one of my Teflon coated frying pans, put a little butter in it, allowed it to melt, then I began to pour the eggs into the hot butter. I scrambled the eggs while I called the boys and Brandon to breakfast. I had to make several pans of scrambled eggs, but that was an easy task. The boys arrived, picked up a plate, put their food on it and headed to the dining room. Ryan poured everybody a large glass of orange juice. Myles found the bottle of syrup and took it to the table. We sat down and had a great breakfast. We finished and nothing would do Brandon, except he had to do clean-up. I argued with him, but he won. Myles volunteered to help, so he joined Brandon in the kitchen. I walked out to the garage with Phil, and Phil showed me a couple of plants that he had bought to send back to his mother. They were beautiful, and he told me where he had told Brandon to plant them. I smiled, Phil always had to be in charge. We walked back in the house and sat down in the family room. Brandon had finished the clean-up so he joined us, and we just sat and talked until Brandon decided that it was time for him to leave. Phil and Ryan walked down to the guest room and helped him take his stuff to the Tahoe. He packed everything tightly in the back including the two plants. We gathered around the Tahoe and said our good-byes. I looked at Phil, and I could tell that he was having a difficult time with this, as he didn't say much, and he was beginning to tear up. Brandon reached over grabbed Phil and hugged him tightly. The tears began to flow from both of their eyes. It was so evident as to how much they loved one another. Brandon hugged Ryan, Myles and then, me. He told me that he definitely had enjoyed the visit and looked forward to us coming to visit the family. He got in his vehicle, said another set of good- byes, backed out of the driveway and headed to the interstate. We went into the house rather somberly. It felt like something was missing. Ryan suggested that we go for ice cream and that sounded like a great idea. We went to our favorite shoppe, made our choices, sat down at one of the round tables in the shoppe and ate our ice cream. We finished, and then, I told them that I had papers to grade before I fixed the evening's meal. We went home, and I walked down to my office. Phil worked on the development's plans in the family room while Ryan and Myles reviewed some of their school work at the dining room table. Ryan tried to keep Myles current with was being taught in their classes and all of the latest social gossip. It was my job as the Home Bound teacher to teach Myles the new content, and Ryan made it his job to help him apply it. Ryan and I made a great teaching team. Later in the afternoon, Rob and Jay arrived. They were extremely disappointed that Brandon had left, because they really wanted to go and do things with him. Phil spoke up and told them that Brandon's visit was about family business, and that, his next visit would allow him to go and do some fun things. They walked into the dining room, sat down and talked to Myles about the work that he and Ryan were reviewing. After thirty minutes of review, Myles wanted to go swimming. Rob and Ryan were all about it, but Jay was somewhat hesitant. He said that he had to go get his swimsuit, so he left and went to get it. Rob said he better go get his because Michelle was supposed to come pick up Myles. With that being said, Myles and Ryan changed into their swimsuits and hit the pool. Rob returned first, and then, Jay joined the boys in the pool. Michelle called me around six - thirty to tell me that she was pulling into the driveway. I told Myles that his Mom was here, and it was time for him to pull his stuff together. I assembled his medicines and had them ready for Michelle. She rang the doorbell, and Myles opened the front door. She entered and gave us some candy from one of the candy shops on the waterfront. I helped Myles take his stuff to the car. He hugged me and told me how much he had enjoyed the weekend. I told him that we would be doing more of them in the future. He smiled and got in the car. They backed out, and I walked into the house just in time to hear a splat, and some furniture scraping and falling over out by the pool. As I walked to the glass doors, I heard Ryan say "Now do you believe me? I told you that I would do it if you uttered one more comment about Myles. You just don't learn do you?" I walked out to the pool and Jay was sitting down by an overturned chair with a bloody nose. I helped him up and into the house. I cleaned him up and applied some ice to his nose. Rob excused himself and went home. I talked to Jay and told him that we had to call his Dad to come look him over. I made the call and asked Justin to come over. He wanted to know what Jay had done this time, and I said "We just need to have a pow-wow." In a few minutes, the doorbell rang. I opened the front door and there stood Justin. END OF CHAPTER 3 - MY SONS and THEIR FRIENDS - The Freshman Year I hope that you have enjoyed this chapter. I have enjoyed writing it because there was a lot of action to cover. Continue to write and tell me your thoughts and concerns. Your emails serve as prompts to get me going - well you know - get me writing LOL Can you believe the change in Ryan since he became the "older" brother? I wanted to say bigger but Myles would probably punch me. What is Jay's issue? What will Justin say, and how will he react? Will Phil harass Doug and let him know that he saw him staring at Brandon's naked body? Will there be any issues with Myles and his chemotherapy? Will Matt make another service visit to Myles? Will Jay have a coming of conscious? Well these are just a few of the questions that hopefully will be answered in the upcoming chapters. After several of you mentioned that you had gone back and started to reread the story from Chapter One, I decided to read Chapter One again. I caught a few mistakes, but the read brought back some great memories and thoughts for the future. I am always open to your emails - and to those who have written to check on me, Thanks! I really enjoy reading your thoughts and hearing about things in your life. Until next time..... Jay
