Chapter 5

“Okay. Now that everyone's far more comfortable, I say we get started on unpacking everything. We'll leave the trailers for now, since that's all fun stuff, but the two shipping containers have everything we need, so they need to be emptied and everything put away.” Stephen says.

Everyone agrees. We have several dollies and carts, so we can move a lot of stuff far easier this way, there is already an excellent ramp made to get to the main level of the house, appearing to have been made for wheelchair accessibility, which will certainly make our lives easier, and one of the containers is near to the house, it has all that stuff in it, whereas the other is closer to the shop and barn, which has all that stuff in it. I am glad that we had decided to somewhat organize things while storing it all, so that this part is much easier.

Stephen unlocks both, and then we split up. Boyfriends are of course working together, but half are in one container, and the other half are in the other one. I am in the house, whereas Steven is in the shop. We may have more stuff, but their stuff is all far heavier and bulkier. I have my boys, as well as Dean, Declan, Zender, as well as one half of the twins. The other half are in the shop. We did it this way, since my half are the physically smaller and or weaker ones (with the exception of the twins, who are our power), and yes, right now I have to classify myself in the weaker category, but I am working on it.

We got the appliances in and hooked up right away, they had been the last things to go in, since we knew we needed them right away. The guys have been cooking out on the porch on a propane stove and storing everything in the two RV fridges, since they had them, so they are here as well. With as many people as we now have though, we need the kitchen, and we need it soon. Dinner is going to have to be started soon, and we are all going to be some hungry when said time comes. As we work, I do get a huge pot of meat sauce on the go, so that we can have pasta. It is simmering away as we work.

We take a break once dinner is done, eat, clean up, change all our super soggy diapers (which we all do on the living room floor with no shame), have lots to drink, I take my pain pills, though a few more also take pills, because they are getting sore already as well, and then we continue working.

Sadly we have far more stuff than we can get done before we are all totally fried for the night, so we desperately need to get to bed. None of the beds are set up yet, but we did put out mattresses and found all the blankets. All this is just piled in the living room for now, we will build all the beds tomorrow.

We also know that the house has only six bedrooms, yet there are eight couples. Until there are more houses ready though, we are just going to make due. There are a couple areas in the basement that are going to be made into impromptu bedrooms in the meantime.

That, however, is another days worries, and tonight we are all in desperate need of diaper changes and sleep. Once more we do so all together, no shame, and then crash. I doubt that even one of us was awake for more than a minute after laying down.

We all went to bed a little later than I and my boys are used to doing so, and I know much of the others are the same in that regard, but this morning we slept in by a good full two hours. I was not even one of the first to wake up either, but that comes as no real surprise. I worked a lot more the day before than I have in a long time, and by the time we crashed the night before, I was more wiped than I have been in years. The good news, though, is that I do not feel to be in any more pain than I normally feel in the morning. I had not pushed myself too hard, but I had not stopped either, I just kept on going and doing all that I was able.

“Mmm, good morning everyone.” I say when I wake up.

“Morning.” The rest who are up say.

“We should get up and get breakfast started pretty quick here.”

“It's okay, I woke up a little more than an hour ago and went and got a huge pot of oatmeal going, as well as I have lots of hard boiled eggs and we can have toast.” Shawn says.

“It doesn't need to cook for an hour.” I say.

“No, but it's a lot better when it does, and besides, it's closer to half an hour. By the time that I got all the apples all cut up, and the eggs all going, I didn't get it on 'til then. It should be perfect here real soon, so we should probably wake the last few and get it eaten up. Unless we're leaking, I don't see any reason to change our soggy baby bums yet, so let's get up.”

“Okay.”

Josh is awake and kissing and cuddling with Declan, but Ezra is still sound asleep, so I lay back down and start nibbling his ear and whispering to him that it is time to wake up. Those that are still asleep are getting the same treatment from their boyfriends, and within only a few minutes, everyone is awake. Shawn had hopped up and went and got started on toast, Carter went with him, as well they made sure that everything else was ready to go, and by the time that we are all ready for breakfast, they have it all ready for us. As we all stand up though, we can all see that we are all very well wet, and it looks really good.

We all enjoy an amazingly hearty and tasty breakfast, all of us eating far more than is probably needed, but, in a way, it is. At least the dining room table and all the chairs had been found and set up yesterday, so we are able to sit in comfort. I am not the only one to take pain medications with my breakfast though, pretty much everyone is stiff and sore from all the work we had done the day before.

“So, how're the shop and barn coming along anyway, I never asked when we finished for the night last night?” I ask as we are now just sitting back after eating.

“Really good,” Stephen says. “We're about three quarters of the way through emptying the container, and as we've gone, like you guys, we've been setting up all that we can and getting the garbage all taken care of.”

“That's good. Actually, garbage, that brings up a question that I have. What've you been doing with it all?”

“Just piling it aside for now, we'll have to figure out what we wanna do with it later.”

“Same here. All paper and cardboard can just be burned, but what do we do with the plastic and packing foam?”

“Well, there is a garbage dump, and really, all our diapers are gonna be going there anyway, so we may as well just put it there.” Mike shrugs.

“I guess that's all we can do then. I hate throwing that much plastic in the garbage, but I'm willing to bet that there are no recycling centres anywhere remotely close to here anyway. We'd probably haveta drive at least a few hours to even take it anywhere for recycling, and I suppose our diapers are going in the dump, so what difference is it gonna make. I wanna make sure and keep as much of it buried as we can though.”

“That's what we were thinking as well.” Marty says.

“Good. All food waste can be composted though, we'll just haveta figure out a good place to do that.”

“Already have that taken care of as well. There's already a compost pile started out near the closest field, we started using it right away. Once we have animals here, though, I think they can eat what we can't or won't.”

“Oh, good, and yeah, you're right, then it gets used as well. So, the only things that'll go in our dump are things that we can't feed, compost, or burn then, so, with any luck, we won't haveta worry about bears too much.”

“No, we still haveta worry about them, it seems we invaded their property, and they're always hanging around. We've seen several black bears, about fifteen of them, and they'll just wander through without a care, even when we're wandering about doing our business, they just wander about doing their business as well. They've never really even paid us much attention.” Ant laughs.

“No, but they probably look at you as one of them, especially if you're in nothing but your diaper, you ugly fucking bear you.” I tease.

“You only wish you could be as luxuriously hairy as me.” He puffs up as much as he can.

“Ha, now there's a laugh.” I say, and we are all laughing.

“Yeah, but the way we see it, we're not good food for them, and none of us care for bear, so we're no real danger to each other. I wouldn't be wandering around too much by yourself, mind you, but I don't think we really have any real concern with them either. No, it's the cougar that we've spotted a few times that worries me. We're excellent prey for them, and the boys won't even be a fight for a fully grown cougar, hell, most of us adults wouldn't stand a chance, because he's a big bastard, so we may have to show it who's boss, but I don't like the thought of killing it when we won't eat it. We've also seen lots of moose and deer, they really seem to like our creeks and fields.”

“Fair points, so no one does anything without someone with you I say, and maybe having two way radios with us at all times wouldn't be such a bad idea, just in case we spot trouble.”

“We're gonna haveta run into town again here soon to get more food supplies, so it might not be a bad idea to get something.” Shawn says.

“Okay. We're gonna need to start seriously stocking up on supplies for the winter too, because, even with having tractors and plows for at least a couple trucks, I think that once winter truly hits, there's gonna be at least a couple months that we're completely socked in, so there's gonna be no in or out.”

“That's what we were thinking as well.” Ant says.

“So, maybe we should schedule a trip into town either tomorrow or the next day. We should all go, so that we can all make sure that we all have what we need. We're all gonna need damn good winter gear too, which we need to start thinking of. And speaking of winter, even though we do have gas heat, we've been warned that with as little flow that exits the lake in the dead of winter, power could get spotty, so we need to be prepared for that, because if there's not enough water to produce power, we're shit outta luck all the way out here. What that means is, we need firewood, and lots of it.” Marty adds in.

“Some fair points, so let's schedule it for tomorrow. Regardless of whether we're done or not, really makes no difference. Most everything we absolutely need, we already have, but we do need food, which we don't have, so we definitely need to get it. Clothes and firewood are of course important as well, so we're gonna have to make sure we're all set up for that. So did the guy from the power company come out or something, and if so, what'd he say?”

“Yeah, he came out here I think on the third day, said he'd been informed that there are new owners, so was asked to come check it out and tell us what we needed to know.”

“Good, so what'd he say then?”

“Told us that because this lake stays pretty fluid all year round, that it's still able to produce enough water to power the generating unit. The way he says it, we have so many natural springs in the mountains that flow all year, that unless it gets to lower than negative forty, we should never have to worry, but given our elevation here is actually pretty low, he says it's pretty rare, only once every few years or so. He says that after minus twenty five or so, it does start to slow down, but it'll still provide more than we'll ever need, and the rest gets sent into town. Past negative thirty five and it gets iffy, and then at negative forty, he has it set to shut down, since running it too slow can do damage. So yeah, he recommends that we have a backup generating system in place to run our pumps and furnaces should that happen, but to always keep a good supply of firewood ready to go.” Mike says.

“Okay, that's excellent information, and really good to know, so really, we should almost never have to worry. How many chainsaws do we have, as well as splitting mauls and other axes and whatnot for getting firewood?” I ask.

“Yeah, we thought so too. We have two chainsaws, but only one of them's really decent for cutting firewood, the other one's just a bit too small, but the boys could probably use it. We should get one more that size, as well as one larger. As for the axes and whatnot, nothing. We found an old splitting maul here, but the handle was so bad that it broke the first time we used it, and the hatchet we found wasn't much better.” Mike says this time.

“Okay, so all that needs to be gotten. What about garden tools and whatnot. We don't need them yet, but we're gonna soon.”

“Mostly shovels and rakes for construction type work, but we don't really need to worry about that yet, we may as well do that in the spring.”

“Yeah, except I figure we're gonna need a greenhouse so that we can grow food all year. We wanna be as self sufficient out here as we can, so we haveta think about that.” Dean says.

“Good point,” I say. “Which means we haveta look into that real quick here too, if not tomorrow when we head into town. What else, other than food stuff?”

“What about bikes and whatnot? We left mine, since it was getting too small and wasn't designed for where we were going, you said.” Josh asks.

“I told you we'd get new bikes, and I already did, don't worry, I can't remember which container they went into, but they're here somewhere. Come spring, we'll have to make some kick ass mountain bike trails, I bet there's some good area for that around here.” I say, though I have my doubts that I will be mountain biking again any time soon. All Josh had had was an old BMX, and Ezra's had not even been that good, so they had been left behind. I have no idea what the others all have. I know a few of the friends enjoy mountain biking, and had good bikes, so I am certain they brought theirs as well.

“That'd be cool.”

“We all brought our bikes, so we're all set.” Jamie says.

“We also now have all the ATV's, which will certainly be great.” Jason adds.

“Yes, we do, but I love mountain biking as well, I just hope I'll be able to still.”

“I'm sure you will, you're getting better by the day.” Ezra says warmly to me.

“Thanks, and I know, but it's still hard. So, what else do we need?” I ask.

And for the next hour, we stay sitting at the table hashing it all out as to what we need. Paper and pens ended up being passed out so that we could write everything down. We finally had to call it when Levi happened to notice that Stephen was dripping onto the floor, he had started to leak so bad. When this was noticed, we looked around, and sure enough, nearly every last one of us has a puddle of pee under us, and a couple more are already dripping onto the floor as well. We laugh it off, because it is funny, clean up the mess as best we can, then go and get our super soggy bums changed. We did deem it prudent to just take our diapers off right there, since there is already a mess there anyway.

We had sat and rested enough, and once we are in fresh diapers, we are ready and raring to go once more and go and get the rest of our stuff all moved and unpacked.

We manage to have a slightly late lunch, change our diapers, and work again until dinner time. After dinner, since the electronics had been hooked up, we all lay on our beds in the living room and watch a movie. All the beds are now put together, but we had not felt like taking the mattresses all upstairs by the time we were done.

The good news, though, is that we are done. Both containers are now officially empty, everything is unpacked and in their homes, and just about everything is set up and ready to go. The only things left now are to finish off the beds, install the satellite dishes, finish cleaning anything that needs it, and get the garbage all taken care of.

Do not get me wrong, we will probably have no end of work left to do until probably summer, when we might be finished, but that is a pretty big might. During the winter we will not be able to do lots, but there will still be lots to do, just most of it will have to be indoors. The vast majority of the work left to do now, though, is outdoor work, but none of it is truly pressing.

At least a couple more houses have to be gutted and refinished, as well as a suitable building for our theatre. We will get what exterior work done that can be done first on at least a few of them, and then during the winter, the interiors should be able to be done. One of the items that we had deemed it necessary to get as soon as possible is drywall, so several full lifts are to be bought, and they will be stored in one of the storage containers, since they will stay good and dry, and it will be out of the way as well. We already have many of the items for that that will be needed, but there is still a rather sizable list of items we need to buy for those two houses.

By the time the movie ends, fully half of us are sound asleep already, and I am shocked that I am not one of them. I cuddle up to Ezra, who had not even made it half way through the movie, and I too fell fast asleep.

This morning, after another really good healthy filling breakfast, then diaper changes all around, we all help to take care of the rest of the cleanup, moving, and setup, and by the time it is nine in the morning, we are all ready to go. We all get dressed and ready to go, then we all head into town. Every truck and every trailer is going, we have huge amounts to buy, so we want to ensure that we have ample space to store it all. We understand, of course, that there may be a lot of stuff that has to be ordered in, and that is okay, we will likely have to make several trips over the next couple months before the snow truly flies, but we wish to be as prepared as we can be, and get as much of it as we can in the first trip.

The building centre is our first stop, four full lifts of drywall, another two full lifts of eight millimeter plywood, a half lift of two by fours, and another half lift of other assorted lumber (just to be safe), nearly a tonne of both electrical and plumbing (since neither of the two houses or the building we decided on for our theatre has any at all, so we have to do it all), all the hardware needed to make the cabinets (because we are going to make them over winter), and so many screws and nails and other assorted goodies (that we will always be in need of), it is not even funny. This stop takes up two full trailers, and it is a damn good thing they are some heavy duty trailers, and heavier duty trucks to pull them.

Our next stop is a ranch and farm supply store. They have a large glass greenhouse in stock. It is not quite as large as we wanted, but we are assured that two of them can be put together, but that they only have one in stock right now. Since we know that we would not likely even need this much space, we decide to just go with it and decide on another one at a later time. This bad boy takes up one other full trailer just by itself, but it is rather impressive. From this store we also get all the gardening things we need, as well as all the wood cutting implements, and dozens of other things that we all found that will undoubtedly come in handy. Hundreds of planting pots and packets of seeds are added to the list as well. They also have a really good selection of good sturdy work clothes, as well as winter gear, so we stock up what we can.

Our next stop is a large clothing store, and here we load up on even more clothes, both work and winter. Lots of socks and shoes and gloves and all that as well, even though we had bought some from the last store already.

We hit the mall next, so that we could look around and find anything else that we just want, as well as anything else that we need. Another hundred or so movies are picked out, and probably almost as many books, so that we have something to do during those long winter days that will be coming soon, we find even more clothes, more kitchen and shop tools, and just more of everything.

We are starting to get tired, because it has already been a long shopping trip, but we still have the most important trip of all, grocery shopping. We are all getting desperately hungry and soggy though, so we need to stop somewhere for both. We hit a local restaurant, and then, as soon as we order, we take off in pairs to go to the washroom to get changed. Almost half of us have to wait until after lunch, because it arrived sooner than we were all finished, but we had changed those of us first that were in danger of leaking.

After lunch and diaper changes, we head to our next stop, and what will likely be our largest shopping trip of the day. Grocery shopping.

I was right too, because even though we did not spend quite as much money as we had at a couple of the other stops (but it is close), we have far more, and it takes us considerably longer as well. We utilize six buggies, and these are not small buggies either, being a Costco store, as well as four of their flat deck carts. We are grabbing huge amounts of their largest bags of flour, sugars, oats, rices, pastas, and anything else we can find like that. Canned goods, too, we are stocking up so much it is almost silly. Butter and cheese, and so many frozen goods it is sick, because we will freeze the butter and cheese too. Two carts are dedicated solely to meat. We plan to do some hunting, but until we do so, we need lots, because there will not likely be much hunting quite yet, there is simply too much else to do first. They have some great two way radios, so we grab more than enough so that we all have one, as well as half as many again as spares, since we will likely break a few here and there. We also raid their pharmacy department and get more than enough of everything from there for all our needs. We do grab milk and eggs, but only enough to get us by until we get our cows, goats, and chickens.

The ranch store had given us the names of a few people who are selling, so we need to call them soon.

By the time we are done, we have spent almost four hours in this store alone, all our buggies and carts are near to overloaded, we are all starving once again, and as we start getting it all loaded onto the belts to get it paid for, we send the boys over to the restaurant in the store with a wad of cash and instructions, and they go and get us all dinner.

By the time we all finish eating, we are very ready to head home, where none of us are looking forward to offloading everything now, but it is a necessary chore, so we will do it. The tractors and all the carts and dollies will be used for sure, so that will help, but it is still going to take a while.

Once home, the first thing we need to do is change our diapers, because we are all nearly leaking again, and as soon as we are all nice and dry again, we go about the lengthy chore of unloading everything. We did not bother getting dressed, we prefer being in just our diapers whenever possible anyway, and no one can see us, so who cares. All the lifts of lumber and sheet goods, as well as the greenhouse stuff, are taken care of quickly and easily, they take next to no time or effort, the rest, however, we are not so lucky on. Most of it is all hand work, and while we certainly make use of wheels as much as possible, we still have near on a tonne of other things that need to be taken inside and stored away. Our pile of garbage is getting shockingly large once more.

We finish up just in time to go to bed. We are all incredibly tired and sore, yet I have absolutely no doubts about the others, but I know that Ezra and I seriously need some personal time. Not one of us has blown a load in the past couple days, and I gotta say, I seriously need to right now, and I hope that Ezra feels the same way too. As soon as we make it to our bedroom, I pick my baby up and give him a kiss that takes our breath away and tells Ezra all that I hope for.

“Baby, I gotta blow, and bad, I wanna suck each other at the same time, and I'm likely gonna need to blow off at least three loads. The way my balls feel though, the first load could drown you.”

“Hell, my balls aren't making anything yet, and that's how they feel, but if you don't stop talking soon and take me to bed, I might explode from just talking about it. I'm so hard it's not even funny.”

“Good.” I say and nearly jump on our bed, holding Ezra tight so as not to drop him. Once more, I should not be picking him up, but I do not care at the moment.

Ezra spins around as soon as I am down, and we attack each other. There are simply no other words to describe the carnage that follows. Neither of our diapers survived the brutal tearing that happened in our desperate need to get to each others incredibly hard dicks, and we waste not one second in doing anything other than sucking each other in. I doubt we lasted more than ten seconds for our first load, and I was right, it was massive. I felt myself pulse no less than fourteen times, but the first five hurt like bloody hell, and I am not the only one to have screamed out my exquisite torture, all around the house I am hearing the same things. Ezra too blasted off hard, and I count no less than twelve massive surges, and had he fired, I too would have drowned. I did hear Ezra gulp at least once, so my output was significant.

Cum number two comes almost a minute later, number three a little over another minute, and number four came at almost five minutes after that. Not once had we stopped, and I gotta say, firing off four massive earth shattering orgasms like that, back to back, is painful. We need it though, and we are finally soft, we are still laying how we were to start with, only now we are panting and gasping like never before. It takes near on ten minutes for us to come down, and I am amazed we are still awake at all after what we just did. I do have to wonder just how many others actually pass out, because I know that they will all be the same there. Oh well, we all have protective sheets on our beds, so nothing will get damaged.

Ezra and I change each other, and then curl up together and pass out before even saying goodnight, I love you to each other.

Even though Ezra and I wake up quite late for us again, when we make it to the kitchen, we are shocked to find that we are the first to arrive. We had left more than enough meat in the fridge the night before for us to make a really good breakfast, so we get started on doing that right away. Pair by pair, the others join us. The first couple couples down also join us in making breakfast, and, before too long, we are finally sitting down to eat a very well deserved and very hearty breakfast. We all eat way too much, it is much too fattening, but it is overly delicious. As we eat, we talk.

“So, how does everyone like their bedrooms?” I ask.

“They're really nice. Are they all the same though?” Dean asks.

“Sure are, all six of them are master suites. They're all large and grand, and with even larger bathrooms.” I say happily.

“Nice.” Most everyone says, since not everyone actually knew this. The only two couples that do not have full bedrooms yet, had already decided that they wanted a smaller house anyway.

“So, I guess it's diaper changes and getting to work now.” I say once we are all cleaned up from breakfast.

“Okay.” Everyone says as one, and from the way everyone is smiling, I am willing to bet that we all take at least half an hour before we actually change our diapers.

And I am right too, because it is easily forty five minutes later that we all stumble back downstairs in just our fresh diapers. We are all much happier, and I think I know why. Ezra and I had just kissed and jacked each other off through our soggy diapers, and we managed to last a good solid three orgasms, pretty impressive after what we did last night, I gotta say. I am reasonably certain the others are about the same though.

We all decide that our first order of business really has to be the greenhouse, so we get everything that we need to get that built. The ground is prepared where we want it to be, it is just going right on a large gravel area and will be pinned to the ground, we were assured that this will be just fine. Though the structure is not huge, it is still plenty large, and, as such, takes us every bit of the entire day to complete. With all of us helping, though, it was really not all that hard to do, and we did use the tractors as much as we could, to make it even easier on us.

The following day, we take care of the water and power to the greenhouse, since it needs both, and we even get all the pots in and filled with soil, and get started on planting. We are only planting a little right now, and in a month, we will plant more, then more the next month, we want to stagger them as much as possible. Granted, some of the plants will continue to grow and produce in a greenhouse environment as well, but not most.

While the others had been working on getting the greenhouse all finished up, I had taken a trip into town to call and talk to the ranchers that we were given names to, to arrange the purchase of all that we wanted and needed.

The first guy I talked to has a dozen cows, eight of them already milking, the other four pregnant and due to calve soon, so they too will be producing. That sounded good to me, so I told him I wanted to come and buy them. We would raise any males for meat, and keep most of the females for milking. He also has seven horses that he was looking to sell, six milking goats, some sheep, and three pigs that are just ready to leave their mother. I told him I wanted them all.

The next guy I called has more horses, he has six of them that he wants to sell, and he has thirty laying hens and a couple dozen roosters as well. I tell him I do not want the roosters, then decide that we will keep the chickens separated and raise the roosters for meat and tell him this, that I will happily take them. He too has some pigs, two, these ones a little older, but not by much, so I say I will take them as well.

The last guy I call has five more horses, two good young meat cows, some more milking goats and a bunch of rabbits.

I go and meet with all of them, pay them for their animals, and arrange for them to deliver them and when. We will soon have a shit load of animals, so now I have to go arrange food and a few other supplies. We had decided that we will not worry about getting our horses shod, nor are we going to worry about saddles, and when asked, neither rancher had said that their horses had ever been shod, since they are not work horses, and nor do they go on concrete or pavement, which seems to be the hardest on them. They are all broken though and are excellent riders. We will just ride them naturally with a simple blanket and reins. Our horses will be mostly trail riders, so they will not really need shoes. So, while at the ranch supply store to arrange a delivery of grains and a truck load of hay, I grab everything for riding the horses that we will need.

By the time I had made it back home, the guys are just finishing up the back filling for the water and power lines, and since only a couple are needed to do that, everyone else is inside on pot duty, so I join them.

The following day we build two separate chicken coops that are attached to the barn, so that the chickens are all free range, yet we won't ever have to worry about checking our eggs. There is a door, of course, that we can close off to keep them inside at night, as well as during the winter, and we can access both in and out from two separate doors in each of the two. We also create one more, just smaller, but in the same way, for the rabbits. This one has to have a solid wood floor, both inside and out, so that they do not burrow out. We do decide, though, that maybe having another coop, where we can keep our two best male, and our two best female chickens together, so that they breed and produce more for us, would be smart. We decide that we will not really know this right away, so we can hold off for the time being, because we are done for yet another day.

The next day we are expecting all the deliveries, so we are presentable, we do not want to shock any of the straights, after all, and by noon they are all in and gone. The animals were tended to, the milking ones shown the automated milking stations, and all of the animals seem to like them and the automated brushing stations. We had splurged and bought these, mostly because we did not want to have to be bothered with it. We will all have so much work to do as it is, so why not make something easy on us.

With that pretty much all taken care of now, we can get started on other things that need to get done. We split into two teams. Half are going to start working on two houses and our new theatre, while the other half are going to go get more and more firewood.

I am on the team for firewood, since I still cannot do too much for physical work, and my team gets all suited up to go and find dead wood in the woods using our ATV's. We are all in good sturdy clothes and safety gear, we have lots of rope and stuff, as well as our chainsaws. After teaching all those that do not know how to drive an ATV how to do so, we head out. We are all going to work together. We do all have our radios, as do the other crew, and because they all have wireless headsets, we are able to keep up almost full conversations.

Within half an hour, we each have a fairly decent sized dead tree secured to our ATV's. We had chopped off all their branches to make this far easier, though we do take many for kindling and burning as well, especially the larger branches. Many of us have to learn how to actually use a chainsaw. I have used them in the past, but not a lot, so those who did know, taught those of us who do not know as well as we need to, how to do so safely.

After dropping off our loads, we head back out and gather more. There are a lot of standing dead trees in the area, and many that are down and not rotted out too badly, so the going is reasonably easy. We do this all day long, just going and getting trees, we will take care of the cutting, splitting, and stacking tomorrow and the next day or two we are sure.

The next couple days, we fall into bed every night nearly comatose from working so hard, and I am not the only one in incredible pain, but we are all getting better for it. No, I am not working myself to the point where I can tear any of the hard work the surgeons did, but I sure am working harder than they had expected I might be able to. I am still having to take every bit as many breaks as the younger boys are, but that is okay too, I am alive and the pain continues to tell me I am.

The guys on the three buildings are doing well. The exteriors of all three are now completed, to the point where they are more than adequate. They all have new roofs, new water, gas, and electrical services run to them (but not yet fully connected), new windows, all siding repaired or replaced, and any and all rotted wood taken care of. The rest are now winter projects. The last thing they have to do now, and they are going to do that today, are run and hook up all the sewer piping.

The septic system had been checked out when the guys arrived, and is in excellent condition, probably owing to the fact that it probably never even got used. It seems to head slightly downhill away from the lake, in the same direction as the dam is, and then has a huge septic field to leech out into. It was nice not having to worry about that, and especially not having it emptying into the lake, which we would have changed right away had it been.

The guys decided, that since it is going to be fairly simple, and we really all do want it, that they are going to start on our theatre. In fact, it appears that at some point in its former life, it may have actually been something of the sort, because it has a small stage. We thought maybe it had been a church and or a school, but it does have a lack of windows, which are normally found in both, so they may have done plays and whatnot here. It is almost perfect for what we want though, but does need some work.

They build platforms for seating, install all the electrical, make a serving counter for a few things (like our popcorn maker), install all new wood floors and hardwood paneling, install a furnace, and build and or install everything else that a good theatre really has to have. They stain and finish everything in a deep rich colour and a satin finish. The only thing that they did not do, is put in a bathroom, since we all wear our bathrooms for the most part. I am sure that most of us will take care of messy needs prior to going to watch a movie, so it was not deemed important enough to worry about, or spend that much extra money on.

While the others had been working on our theatre, the rest of us had decided that the animals did not have quite enough space to roam around, so we repaired more fences and opened up another area for them. We also created a dedicated pig run, since they are tough and can easily escape from the main areas, so it was made stronger and with more slats to prevent escape.

“Well guys, the theatre's done, we've been working like maniacs lately, we're all getting incredibly sore and tired, and we need to rest, so, I say we go and test out our new theatre.” I say the morning after we finished. We have just finished breakfast and cleaning up.

“Okay.”
