Chapter 39 – Magic Kingdom: Day 1.

As soon as I woke the boys on Tuesday, I asked them to help apply sunscreen to each other before they got dressed, and then we left for breakfast.  When we got to the restaurant, I told the boys to make sure they got full because we’d probably be having a late lunch, and they did as I asked.  They ordered side dishes of sausages and home fries to go along with their normal meal, and as soon as we finished eating we headed over to catch the bus to the Magic Kingdom.

When we arrived there, I took them directly to Adventureland and the first attraction we came to was the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House.  As soon as we started going through the sprawling structure, I regretted not planning ahead and having the boys watch the 1960 movie Swiss Family Robinson before we came.  I believe they would have enjoyed this more if we’d done that first, but since I’d seen the movie when I was younger, I did my best to explain the various things to them as we checked out the different rooms.

Man, it would be neat living in a place like this,” Dakota said as we looked around.  “Each room is actually its own tree house.”

Yes, it is impressive and they did the best they could to survive after being shipwrecked.”

How did that happen?” Laine asked.  “Was it in a storm?”

They were chased into a hurricane by pirates, and after the ship crashed upon the rocks the captain and crew abandoned the ship and left the family stranded near an uninhabited island.”

Man, that sucks,” Jamie stated.

Yes, it certainly did.”

So how did they build all of this?” Caleb wanted to know.

They were very ingenious and managed to salvage quite a bit from the ship, and then they used those items to construct what you see here.  They rescued the tools that they used to build this place, and they also brought with them several muskets and gunpowder they could use to hunt and fight off attackers.  They also saved the livestock that was being kept on board the ship, along with the organ and anything else they thought they might be able to use.”

Why did they bother to take the organ with them?” Dakota wondered.

The mother played the organ and wanted to save it, and it turned out to be one of the few forms of entertainment they had.  Even with what you see here, their life was far from easy.”

Yeah, but they had a lot of neat things,” Laine pointed out. “They even made a water wheel to help them do other stuff, and I like the cool way they got water up to the kitchen.”

Yes, they were quite ingenious.”

Did they have to battle any cannibals?” Glen followed.

No, but they had to fend off other things, like snakes, hyenas, and a tiger, and they also had to fight off the same group of pirates that had chased them and caused their ship to crash in the first place.”

They obviously survived, but did they ever get rescued,” Glen continued.

Actually, the family ended up rescuing a girl the pirates had captured at another location, and while they were fighting off another attack by the pirates, a ship showed up and chased the pirates off.  The ship’s captain was the grandfather of the girl they’d rescued, and his ship fired its cannons at the pirate ship and hit it, and this kept them from coming back again later.  Now that there were others who knew where they were and would send ships to check up on them from time to time, most of the family chose to remain on the island.  Their oldest son married the captain’s granddaughter and remained on the island too, and in the end only their middle son returned to Europe.”

Yeah, I guess I wouldn’t have wanted to leave this place either,” he concurred.

Our tour around the tree house was interesting, except for the fact that we were stuck in line behind many other people as we wound our way up, down, and around the various rooms.  I wish Disney had updated the attraction over the years and added some animatronics to make it more interesting.  An interactive character in each room could have explained some of the things I was telling the boys, and I believe it would have offered a great deal to the process for the other guests as well.

Once we left that area, we came to The Magic Carpet of Aladdin ride next, but as soon as the boys saw it, they felt it didn’t appear to be very exciting and decided to skip it.  I took them on the Jungle Cruise instead, which was a leisurely, but interesting boat ride.  Our guide explained that at various times we would be traveling down many of the major rivers from all around the world, so the scenery and sets we saw changed to better represent that location.

As we traveled along we passed several waterfalls, some wonderful scenery, and numerous animatronic animals along the way.  The animals ranged from African and Asian elephants, hippos, crocodiles, a very large snake, and a pride of lions, and it also included a few headhunters.  There was also a hilarious scene where a rhino and a hyena had two tourists trapped after chasing them up a totem pole, and the rhino’s horn was in a potentially dangerous location for one of the men.  The various sights were all quite interesting, but what made the boat ride even more enjoyable was the humor of our guide and the jokes and puns he regaled us with along the way.

Once the cruise ended, we headed to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room next and watched an animatronic show.  It was performed by animated characters that included several different species of birds, some plants, a couple of carved masks, and numerous statues as they presented a Hawaiian-themed musical show.  It was fun and entertaining, but I could tell the boys were getting restless with the things we’d been doing so far, so I decided to distract them with a treat.  I took them over to Aloha Isle next and ordered each of us a Dole Whip, which is a pineapple flavored soft serve that’s the same consistency as ice cream, although it’s a non-dairy treat.

Whoa, this is really good,” Jamie stated as soon as he tasted it.

I thought you might like it, and it’s nice and refreshing on a hot day.”

So when are we gonna do somethin’ exciting?” Glen followed.

Don’t worry, grasshopper, because that will be coming up soon, so just be patient.”

That’s what you always say,” he grumbled.

And aren’t I usually right?”

Yeah, I guess so.”

Then please be patient.”

Once we left there, I led the boys to the Pirates of the Caribbean set next and we entered what appeared to be an old Spanish fort.  As we made our way through the queue, we passed by some interesting displays, which included a couple of skeletons that were locked in a cell and playing checkers.  Eventually, we loaded onto a boat for a brief cruise.

There was a short drop at the start and then you heard a voice say, “Dead men tell no tales,” just before we passed by an animatronic skeleton piloting a ship.  After that we floated past a pirate ship with its cannons blasting away at the fort, and a few seconds later we approached a group of animatronic pirates celebrating their victory as they drank rum and sang Yo Ho (A Pirates Life for Me).  That was followed with us sailing past multiple pirates locked up in cells in a dungeon, and then we saw Jack Sparrow sitting in a small room filled with treasure.  The experience was both interesting and enjoyable, as well as pretty much what I’d expected from Disney.

It was neat seeing some of the same people that was in the movie,” Caleb stated when the ride ended.

Yeah, there was Captain Barbossa on the pirate ship and Jack Sparrow in that room, and some of the stuff we saw was pretty neat,” Laine concurred.

It was interesting and I’m glad we did this, but it still wasn’t exciting,” Glen added.

Don’t worry, because we’ll get to that next.”

After hearing Glen’s comment, I chose to break from my prearranged itinerary so we could do something they would enjoy more.  With that in mind, I led them to Frontierland next, because I knew there were a couple of rides there that fit the bill.

I took them to Splash Mountain first, and I’d already arranged to use the FastPass+ so we could bypass the line.  Splash Mountain is a log flume ride, and when we first started out the log traveled through a roughhewn tunnel where a conveyor belt carried us up to the next level.  I believe we were all expecting a big drop when we got there, but it turned out to be a short drop instead, and then we floated along the stream until we came to a second conveyor belt.  While we were waiting to load onto the conveyor, we unexpectedly got wet when another log plunged down a long drop and crashed into the pool at the bottom, which was fairly close to our location.

Whoa, I can’t wait until we do that,” Glen stated when he realized what awaited us.

After we went up the second conveyor belt, we experienced another short drop before we passed by some interesting displays, and then we came to a slightly longer drop.

That was good, but there’s no way it was the same drop that we saw the other group take,” Glen announced.

No, I’m sure we’ve still got that to look forward to.”

Our log then wound its way past some more animatronic displays that featured Disney characters from the movie Song of the South.  They included Mr. Bluebird and Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear who were focused on their attempt to catch Br’er Rabbit.  After we passed by this area we came to another conveyor belt, and when we reached the top we hit the drop we’d all been anticipating.  The log plummeted 52 feet (15.8 m) at a 45-degree angle, and it was not only thrilling, but some of us got wet when we reached the pool at the bottom.

Laine and Caleb were sitting in the first seat and got drenched.  Glen and Jamie were sitting in the next seat, and although they got wet it wasn’t nearly as bad as the first pair.  Dakota and I were sitting in the third seat and hardly got wet at all, but Dakota and I had fared worse than the rest of them when the other log had splashed us earlier.

Now that’s more like it!” Glen enthused as our log began to move on.

We then floated along for a while before we hit another small drop, and then we passed some more animatronic displays as we made our way back to where we’d started the ride.

That was exciting and what I was waitin’ for,” Glen stated as we were getting out of our log.

See, I told you.”

Hey, how come you guys didn’t get as wet as us?” Caleb asked when he noticed we were drier than him and his brother.

It seems that where we were sitting made all the difference,” I replied, “but it’s hot out and you should dry off fairly quickly.”

We then made our way to the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad next.  Even though I’d used the FastPass+ on this ride as well, we still had to walk a long way to get to the ride, and during that time I noticed many things.  This included a number of bird cages hanging from the ceiling, so I decided to point it out to the boys and explained why they were there.

I know you probably think the cages look out of place here, but the miners used them for the canaries they took down in the mine.

Why would miners take canaries with them?” Jamie asked.

They did it because the canaries reacted to the presence of poison gases much faster than the miners.  When the canary died, it warned the miners that they needed to get out of the mine as quickly as possible.”

So they just let the canaries die?”

I’m afraid so, since it was the lesser of two evils.  It was considered an acceptable loss if the canary died, rather than having a bunch of miners die.”

That sucks.”

The ride was a roller coaster designed to simulate a runaway train as it sped through an old west mining town, and there were numerous twists and turns that sent us flopping from one side to the other.  It didn’t create a problem when it jerked in the direction that sent Caleb crashing into me, but when it lurched in the other direction I would slam into him and crush him against the side of the car.  Whenever that happened, I would hear him emit a soft ‘oof’.

I’m sorry and I’m trying to keep it from happening,” I told him when I got a chance.

I know and it’s ok,” he replied.

There were also several drops that made our stomachs feel as if they had ended up in our throats, and part of the ride was through tunnels and caverns, while the rest of the ride was out in the open.  Much to Glen’s delight, this was another thrilling ride, and since it traveled at a high speed it helped us to dry off even faster.

I loved this ride,” Glen crowed as we were getting off.

Yeah, that was even better than the last one,” Laine concurred.

Yeah, it was great,” Dakota agreed.

And now that we’ve been on a couple of exciting rides, I’m ready to eat,” Glen added.

Who would have guessed?” I teased, which caused the other boys to laugh.  “You’re right, though, and I’m getting hungry too.  I imagine the others are ready to eat as well, so let’s head over to the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café.”

Hey, I’ve heard of Pecos Bill before,” Caleb announced after I told them where we were going.  “We read about him, Paul Bunyan, and Johnny Appleseed in our readin’ book last year.”

Yes, they are all tall tale heroes, along with Casey Jones who was a train engineer, and John Henry, a steel drivin’ man.”

Oh, yeah, I forgot about them.”

It turned out that the Café had a Tex-Mex cuisine, so we ended up ordering things like fajitas, nachos, and tacos with side dishes of yellow rice and black beans.  We also had a strawberry-lemonade slushy to wash it down.

That was good,” Glen stated when he finished.  “What are we doin’ next?”

We’re going to Liberty Square and take it easy for a while before going back to Frontierland.”

Ok, that sounds good.”

We started out with a ride on the Liberty Square Riverboat, which is a paddlewheel riverboat that gave the boys a glimpse of what it might have been like to travel in the 19th century.  It had three levels and the boys were determined to check out each of those areas, and other than following them up and down all three tiers, it was an enjoyable and relaxing experience with some lovely views.  It was also a nice way to give our meals a chance to digest.

Once that ride ended, I decided to skip the Hall of Presidents, since we’d already watched The American Adventure at Epcot, so I took the boys to the Haunted Mansion next.  Waiting in line was even fun, because we got a chance to inspect a horse-drawn hearse, view the busts along the cemetery fence, observe the various gravestones, and even play a huge, interactive organ.  When we finally got inside, we listened to a brief introduction before loading into the Doom Buggies for the ride through the haunted corridors and rooms.

Caleb had been clinging to me from the second we’d entered the mansion, so when it came time to load into the two-person Doom Buggy there wasn’t any doubt about who’d be riding with me.  We then proceeded through the building, and if the spooky sights of the 999 ghosts didn’t get to us, the audio effects were enough to push us over the edge.  It was definitely a spooktacular ride and we got a chance to experience many of the things that went bump in the dark, including a ghost that hitched a ride in our buggy.

Whoa, that was pretty cool,” Dakota stated when we were all together again.

Yeah, but some of that stuff really creeped me out,” Jamie added.

It was pretty good, but where are we goin’ next?” Glen pressed.

Back to Frontierland,” I answered simply.

We went to the Country Bear Jamboree first, which is an animatronic stage show.  The bears rose up to the stage on platforms, descended from the ceiling, and appeared from behind curtains, and there were some animatronic animal heads on the walls that interacted with the bears on stage.  They performed country songs and recited a number of corny jokes and bad puns, but the adults in the audience were able to extract a non-G-rated interpretation from some of them.  It was a cute and enjoyable show on many levels, although not everyone agreed with me.

That was ok, but let’s do something more exciting now,” Glen urged.

I wanted you to see this because I read it might be replaced by a Toy Story Marionette Show.”

I liked it,” Jamie assured me.

Me too,” Caleb chimed in.

I’m glad, and I did too.”

So what’s next?” Laine asked.

We’re going to head over to Tom Sawyer Island now.”

When we arrived at that location, we had to board a free-floating raft piloted by a Disney employee to take us to the island, and then we were left on our own to take a self-guided tour to see the sights.  All of the buildings and peripheral items were accurately designed to represent the correct era, the mid-1800s, and this prompted a few questions from the boys.

What did they do at Harper’s Mill?” Jamie asked when we came to that building.

It’s what they referred to as a grist mill and it’s where they ground the grain into flour for baking.”

But there was no ‘lectricity back then, so how did they do that?” Caleb wanted to know.

No, there wasn’t any electricity, so this mill was powered by water instead.  The stream turned the large waterwheel on the outside of the building, and that was connected to various other wheels inside that helped to grind the grain into flour.  When we go inside you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about.”

Once we entered the mill, the boys studied the moving parts carefully to see how it operated, and I think they were quite impressed by what people were able to do nearly 200 years ago.  When I realized this, I explained that other civilizations had done similar things as far back as a thousand years ago, which I think blew their minds.

From there we explored an old mine shaft and walked through it from one end to the other, and after that we walked over a narrow bridge to see Aunt Polly’s house, although we couldn’t go inside.  We also saw the fence that Tom Sawyer was supposed to whitewash but never finished, although he used it to profess his love for Becky.  From there we made our way to the next attraction, Injun Joe’s cave.

Is this the cave where Tom and Becky got lost, and where Injun Joe died?” Laine asked.

Yes, it is, but I’m surprised you knew this.”

I read the book in school last year.”

Will there be ghosts in the cave?” Caleb followed.

No, this isn’t the real cave and it’s just a representation.”  I then took them inside for a look around.

During our time on the island we discovered that it was actually two separate islands, and we had to cross a suspension bridge to reach the other island.  That’s where Fort Langhorn was located, and the fort was named in honor of Mark Twain, seeing they had used his middle name.  He was born Samuel Langhorne Clemens, although they chose to spell it slightly different for the fort, and Clemens used the pen name Mark Twain for his writing.  He got that name from a term he’d used when working on a riverboat, because they called out ‘mark twain’ when they wanted to judge the depth of the river.

There was a lot to explore at the fort, including an animatronic display of a blacksmith’s shop where you could see the blacksmith at work and the tails on the horses moving.  You could also climb up the stairs to see the canon emplacements, as well as to look out the slots the soldiers used when shooting from the rifle roost.  There were even replica rifles on swivels that the boys could pretend to shoot, and the rifles were complete with sound effects when they pulled the trigger.

It sounded more like a video game, not a real gun shooting, but it was still kinda neat,” Jamie stated after playing with one for a while.

There was a tower on each of the four corners of the fort, and of course the boys had to explore each one, so I followed them around.  While we were doing this, we also got to see how the tops of the posts used to build the fort had been hewn into a point to deter attackers from scaling it.

These aren’t very sharp so I doubt it would stop anybody,” Dakota stated after checking them out.

I’m sure these were blunted so no one would get hurt while they were here, but I suspect the tops of the posts at real forts came to a much sharper point.”

As we continued out exploration, we found a guard house, and when you looked through the bars on the window you could see and hear the prisoner sleeping on the cot inside.

That’s what my dad used to sound like when he fell asleep in his chair or on the couch, or when he was in bed at night?” Glen announced.

You mean you could hear him from your bedroom?  Didn’t you close your door?” Caleb challenged.

Yeah, but his snoring shook the whole house.”

The boys also wanted to check out the escape tunnel, so I followed them down the steps as we used this secret route to get out of the fort.  The passage was dark and narrow, which didn’t seem to bother the boys, but it was a little tight for me, and overall the boys seemed to enjoy the time we spent at the fort.

We also spotted a windmill as we were walking around, which caused Caleb to ask another question.  “What was this used for?”

It could have been used to do the same thing as the waterwheel at the mill, or it might have operated something else,” I responded.  “Back then there were basically three ways to generate power to do work.  The first was by using flowing water to turn a waterwheel, the next was to use the wind to spin the blades on a windmill, and the third was using either men or animals to turn a wheel.”

Ok, I see now.”

When we finished our exploration of the two islands, we returned to the dock to take the raft back to Frontierland.  Once we boarded the raft, I told the boys there was enough time left to go on a couple of the rides again.  They quickly agreed on Splash Mountain and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

They’re definitely the two best rides, so I’m glad you’re lettin’ us go on them again,” Laine stated as we walked to Splash Mountain.

Yeah, I agree,” Glen added.  “I’m glad you’re lettin’ us go on those again.”

We had to wait in line this time, since we’d used the FastPass+ when we rode them earlier, but it was worth the wait.  They both proved to be just as thrilling the second time around and the boys got their final adrenaline rush before going to eat.

As we made our way back to Main Street for a very late dinner, the boys let me know how they were feeling.  “I’m starving but I don’t mind, cuz it was worth it to go on those last two rides again,” Glen stated.

Yeah, and I’m so hungry I could eat a horse,” Dakota chimed in.

I wish you’d told me that when we were at the fort, because I don’t think any of these restaurants have horse on the menu,” I quipped.

Very funny, but you know what I mean.”

So where are we eating?” Laine asked.

We’re going to Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.  It’s an Italian establishment.”

Good, cuz we all like pizza, spaghetti, and other kinds of Italian food,” Jamie announced.

He also proved his statement when ordering, because he and Caleb both wanted Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Glen chose the Ravioli with Grilled Chicken Breast, while Laine, Dakota, and I went with the Chicken Parmigiana.  Everyone enjoyed it and it was all delicious, and it also quieted the rumblings in our tummies.

Once we finished our meals, I took the boys to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for dessert and we each had an Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich.  It consisted of two freshly made chocolate chip cookies with a scoop of the ice cream flavor of your choice placed between them.  I thought it was a nice way to end a very wonderful day and to satisfy our sweet tooth at the same time.

Once we finished those, we hurried to catch the next bus back to the resort, and when we got to the villa I told the boys to shower quickly and then get to bed, because we had another full day tomorrow.  As I was heading to the bedroom, Glen came up to me and spoke.

Is it ok if I shower and sleep with you tonight?”

Of course.”

So did Dakota tell you that I wanted to do this?”

He mentioned something like that, but I would have been happy to do it if you’d come to me and asked as well.”

A smile broke across his face.  “Thanks, so maybe we can do this more often now?”

Sure, that sounds good to me.  The other boys always manage to let me know when they want to do something like this, and since you never asked before I didn’t think you were interested.

I am, but I guess I just didn’t realize I should say somethin’ to ya, cuz I’d never have asked my dad to do anything like this.  When I was little he wouldn’t even let me sleep with him and my mom when I was scared, like when there was a really bad thunderstorm.  He’d just tell me to quit bein’ a baby and go back to bed.”

Yes, some men don’t like to show their emotions with their sons.  They fear doing that might turn their sons into sissies and wimps.”

That’s stupid.”

Yes, I agree.”

He followed me into the bedroom and we undressed quickly, and then we went to the bathroom where I adjusted the water.  Once that had been taken care of, we stepped inside and I washed him first.

I didn’t think I’d like havin’ you do this, but it feels nice.”

Weren’t you doing this with Laine?”

No.  We was showerin’ together, but we washed ourselves and then we’d mess around after that.  I just wasn’t sure what I was gonna do from now on cuz he’s goin’ back home, so I was kinda feelin’ left out.”

We won’t leave you out, and I don’t want you to feel we ever would.  I was just giving you room to choose what you wanted to do, and from what I observed you seemed to prefer spending time with Laine.”

Yeah, we got along great, but I thought I’d be all alone after he went back home with his brother.  I was hopin’ that maybe I could do stuff with you and Kota, but I wasn’t sure if you guys would want to do that.”

I’m sure it can easily be arranged.”

Good, cuz Jamie’s still too young and he doesn’t like to do some stuff, like fuck, but maybe he’ll change his mind when he gets older.  If he does, then maybe I’ll spend some time with him too.”

Yes, that’s very possible, so we’ll just have to wait and see how that works out.”

After I washed Glen, he washed me, but he was strictly a down to business kind of guy.  He merely washed my body and didn’t play with my junk like Jamie and Caleb would do, and he didn’t kiss me or massage my shoulders as Dakota did.  When he finished, we got out, dried off, and headed to the bedroom.

Is there anything in particular that you’d like to do now?”

Me and Laine would fuck each other, but we’d usually do it in the shower, but we can just blow each other if that’s all you want to do.”

No, it’s your choice.  If you want us to fuck each other, then I’m ok with that.”

Really?”

Of course.  I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t mean it.”

Great!”

Then I’ll let you go first.”

I reached into the nightstand for the lube, and then I sucked on Glen’s penis until he got an erection.  Once he was hard, I lubed both of us up and asked him another question.

Any particular way you’d like to do this?”

Ummm, how ‘bout doggy style?”

That’s fine with me, just go slowly.”

I got on all fours and Glen positioned himself behind me.  He then put the head of his penis against my opening and began to add pressure.  I pushed out with my rectal muscles to assist his effort and he popped in easily, and then he started to rock back and forth as he worked into a nice, steady rhythm.

Glen had more stamina and lasted much longer than I imagined, but he’d obviously been doing this with Laine most nights, so it wasn’t as if he was in the middle of a long dry spell.  He pounded my butt for several minutes and it was quite enjoyable.  However, he eventually reached his breaking point and fired his load into my bowels, and then he stayed in me for another minute before he withdrew.  He then looked at me as he waited for me to give him his cue.

Just help me get hard and then you can lay on your back and we’ll do it that way.”

Unlike Dakota, Glen didn’t seem interested in kissing or engaging in any type of foreplay.  He merely sucked on my penis until it was hard, and then he laid down on the mattress as I lubed us both up again, just in the opposite locations.  Once we were both prepared, I lifted his legs, placed them on my shoulders, and eased my way into him.  Once I was fully seated, I started thrusting into him and used a nice, leisurely rhythm as I concentrated on giving him as much pleasure as I knew how.

Similar to Dakota and Laine, Glen enjoyed being a bottom, but he also liked to top as well.  Now that he’d already gotten his rocks off, he was thoroughly enjoying my effort as I attempted to graze his prostate with every thrust.  I wasn’t doing it to make him cum again, but so he’d enjoy it more, and we did this for quite a few minutes before he grunted and his penis twitched as it released a few drops of fluid.  I was surprised that he’d just had a second orgasm, although this one was more dry than wet, but his bowels contracted like he’d just had a major release.  That served to hasten my release as well and caused me to explode into him.  Shortly after I’d released the last of my seed into his gut, I pulled out and laid down beside him.

Thanks, that was really good,” Glen whispered a few seconds later.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, and I think we need to get up and wash off quickly before we go to sleep.”

He agreed with my suggestion, so we headed into the bathroom, grabbed a couple of wash cloths, and cleaned up.  Then, we went out and got back in bed.

Would you like to cuddle now?”

He didn’t respond right away and seemed to be thinking it over.  “Yeah, I think I’d like to try that too.”

Do you want to put your head on my chest or just have me spoon up behind you?”

Let’s spoon.”

He then rolled onto his side so I could spoon up behind him, and then I wrapped my arm over his chest.  That’s the way we fell asleep and how we remained for the rest of the night.”
