Chapter 44 – Preparing for School.

After waking up on Sunday morning, I went downstairs to fix breakfast.  As soon as we finished eating, I started a load of laundry and the boys went upstairs to strip the beds, as I’d requested.  Once the first load of laundry was going, I went out to clean up the kitchen, and before long the boys were trouping downstairs with the bedding to add to the pile. 

“Just put those things in the laundry room and I’ll get to them after I finish washing your clothes.” 

“K,” they replied, and after they did that they headed upstairs to make the beds and run the vacuum cleaner. 

I called them down to take a short break later, and during that time Jamie asked a question. 

“When are you gonna talk to Caleb and Laine?” 

“We just dropped them off yesterday, so let’s give them some time to enjoy being home with their parents.” 

“Do you think they miss us?”

“Probably, seeing we were all so close while we were away.” 

“Then I’ll bet they get in touch with you, if you don’t call them first.” 

“They have my cell number and email address, but no one’s called or texted.” 

“Did you check your email yet?” 

“No, but do you really think it’s necessary?” 

“Yeah, I do, so go check it.” 

I did, and sure enough there was an email from Laine.  I opened it to see what he had to say. 

‘Me and Caleb wanted to thank you again for taking us to Disney World.  We had a great time. 

Can you Skype us this afternoon around 2:00?  We miss you guys and want to talk to you.  Ok?  Just reply to this email and let me know. 

We love all of you.  Laine and Caleb’

I replied to his email and agreed to his request, and after I sent it Jamie decided to rub it in. 

“See, I told ya.” 

“Yes, you did, but I can’t imagine what he’ll have to say already.” 

“He ‘prolly just misses us and wants to see us again, cuz I miss them and I think Kota and Glen do too.” 

“You may be right about that, and we’ll soon find out.”

We all kept busy for the rest of the morning, and about an hour after we finished eating lunch, I got set up to Skype Laine and Caleb.  The boys all gathered behind me as I got ready, and then I made contact with the other pair. 

“Hi, guys.  I didn’t expect to hear from you this quickly,” I began. 

“Yeah, I know,” Laine replied, “but we both miss you guys.” 

“Yeah, we do,” Caleb chimed in. 

“We miss you guys too,” Jamie shouted over my shoulder. 

“So what’s up?” I followed. 

“We just wanted to thank you again for the great time we had at Disney World,” Laine began, “and my mom wants to ask you somethin’.”

Laine then got out of the chair and let his mother sit down.  “Hi, Eric, it’s nice to see you again.”

“Yes, and we’re glad to see you too.”

“Look, I know it’s still a long way off, but if you don’t have other plans we’d like to invite all of you to join us for Thanksgiving this year.” 

“Are you sure you’ll be able to feed this hoard, because they can really pack away the food?” 

She giggled.  “Yes, Laine told me a little about that, but I think I’ll be able to handle it.  We can put both leaves in the table so we’ll all be able to fit around it.” 

“That sounds very nice, so if you’re certain about this I’ll book rooms at a local hotel for Thanksgiving night so we don’t have to rush back.” 

“That will be perfect,” she replied. 

“Can we stay with you guys that night too?” Caleb shouted from behind his mother, which caused her to make a face.  

“I’ll be reserving two rooms, so I don’t see why not, as long as your parents don’t mind.”

“Are you sure you want to put up with them again?” she asked. 

“Yes, and I’m certain these boys would like to spend more time with them as well.” 

“If you’re sure, then it’s fine with us too.  In fact, I’ll have breakfast prepared for all of us when you bring them home in the morning.” 

“Sounds like a plan.” 

The boys wanted to chat with each other, so their mother and I left them alone to speak privately.  After they finished, the boys came to tell me about their conversation. 

“I hope none of you said anything that their parents could overhear that might upset them,” I began. 

“No, we were really careful,” Dakota responded. 

“Yeah, we just talked about the trip and school startin’ up again,” Jamie added. 

“And they only said that stayin’ with us at the hotel will be just like when we was on vacation,” Glen followed. 

“I think it meant that they was both lookin’ forward to havin’ sex with us again,” Dakota clarified. 

“I’m sure they are, as long as you didn’t say it quite that directly.” 

“Nah, we didn’t say nothin’ that their parents would know what we was talkin’ about,” Glen confirmed. 

“I hope not.” 

Once our conversation ended, I returned to doing the laundry and the boys went upstairs to either work on the computers or play video games.  The rest of the afternoon flew by quickly, and later I decided on what to fix for dinner.  We’ve eaten in restaurants enough recently to last us for quite a while. 

After enjoying a very nice family meal together, the boys helped me clean off the table, and after they finished they went upstairs again.  Before he left, however, Dakota came over to speak with me. 

“Glen asked if I’d spend the night with him, cuz he wants to have sex.” 

“That’s fine with me, as long as you want to do that too.” 

“Yeah, cuz he told me that he and Jamie just blew each other last night.” 

“Ok, I don’t have a problem if you want to do that.” 

“Don’t worry, cuz you won’t be alone.  I’m sure Jamie will want to spend the night with you, once he hears that me and Glen are gonna be together.”

“I’m totally fine with that as well.” 

Dakota then went upstairs to join the other two boys and explain the situation to them, and then they came downstairs about an hour later to watch TV with me.  We watched a couple of shows together, and then we got up to turn in. 

“I’m gonna shower and sleep with you tonight,” Jamie stated as I was turning off the lights. 

“Dakota mentioned he was going to spend the night with Glen, so I was wondering if you would do that.” 

“Yeah, cuz now you can suck me off again.”  His face broke into a huge smile after he said this. 

“Didn’t you and Glen do anything last night?”

“Yeah, we did, but I like it a lot better when you do it.” 

“Ok, I’m more than happy to help you out.” 

We then went up to my bedroom and showered first, before we headed out to the bedroom so we could do what Jamie wanted.  After he jumped on the mattress, he looked up at me and spoke.

“Will you use your tongue on my butt too?” he asked before I got started. 

“Certainly, anything you desire,” I agreed. 

As soon as I said that, Jamie pulled his knees back to his chest and prepared for me to rim him.  He was moaning and sighing as I was running my tongue around his hole and gently thrusting it in and out of the snug opening.  After doing this for a few minutes, I left that area and licked my way up his perineum, and then I ran my tongue around his tight little fleshy pouch. 

After doing this for a couple of minutes, I took his scrotum into my mouth and used my tongue to toy with it a little longer.  As soon as I released it again, I moved up to his penis, which was standing tall and proud and beginning to leak.  He released a huge sigh when I wrapped my lips around it and swallowed it down to the root. 

Jamie then started thrusting up into me as he sought his release, and I did my best to give him as much pleasure as possible.  He was moaning and cooing the entire time, and then he squealed just before his semen erupted into my mouth.  I quickly lapped up every drop and swallowed it, and then I gave him a quick peck on the lips before letting him enjoy the lingering sensations on his own. 

After taking a couple of minutes to recuperate from his mind-blowing release, he sat up, leaned over, and gave me a very passionate kiss.  “Thank you.  That was waaay better than what me and Glen did last night.” 

“I’m glad you enjoyed it.” 

After I turned off the lamp on my nightstand, Jamie placed his head on my chest and an arm across my belly as he got comfortable.  In response, I wrapped an arm around his waist, and a few minutes later we fell asleep. 

Monday and Tuesday went by quite quickly as we fell into a normal routine again.  We were busy preparing for the start of school and I was making a list of the things we’d need to buy when I took the boys shopping.  I also made sure we had something nice to wear for the next day, since I wanted each of us to make a favorable impression when I took them to the middle school, now that we were a family. 

That night before we took our showers, I explained to the boys what I expected from them the following day, and once they assured me they understood, we headed upstairs.  Dakota followed me as I made my way to the bedroom, and then we both undressed before entering the bathroom.  Once we were in the shower, Dakota let me know what he wanted to do as soon as we finished washing each other. 

“I want to make love to you tonight, but I still want you to make love to me too.” 

“Ok, I can do that, but what brought this about?” 

“I kinda enjoyed doing it with Glen the other night, so I wanted to try doin’ it with you again.” 

“I don’t have a problem with that.” 

Before we went to sleep we made love to each other.  He went first and was very passionate and gentle.  There was no urgency in his actions, merely pleasure in his approach, and the foreplay lasted a lot longer than the actual sex.  By the time he entered me he was so worked up and emotionally primed that he only lasted a few minutes, but it was enough to satisfy both of us.  After taking a couple of minutes for him to recuperate, we switched roles and it was my turn to make love to him. 

I didn’t take nearly as long with the foreplay, since he had overdone that already, and when I slipped inside him he came to life again.  He aggressively took over at this point and established the rhythm, and even though it was faster than I would have chosen, I went with his direction and let him lead the way.  When he realized this, he flipped me onto my back and rolled with me, never breaking our connection, and then he took over completely.  He rode me like a bull rider at the rodeo and gave me more pleasure than I could possibly have achieved on my own.  At the same time, he fulfilled his own desires, so we were both completely satisfied by the time I filled him with my manly seed. 

As soon as that happened, he started kissing me again, and we did that for a few minutes before we got out of bed and headed into the bathroom to clean up.  Dakota hadn’t ejaculated on me this time, but we’d both worked up quite a sweat, and we also wanted to empty the semen from our bowels so it didn’t leak out on the sheets.  After we did that, we got back into bed and cuddled together until morning. 

When we woke up, I urged the boys to get ready while I went down to the kitchen to fix us all something to eat.  As soon as we’d filled our bellies, I gave them the previous year’s handbook from the middle school.  I did this because it had a map of the layout of the building that they could follow as they made their way around the school on their own.  Then, we loaded into the SUV and headed to the middle school. 

On the way, the boys asked me several questions about things they’d read or saw in the student handbook.  “So this middle school goes from fifth to eighth grades?” Glen asked. 

“Yes, I think that’s fairly standard.” 

“Not at the school I used to go to.  The middle school there was sixth to ninth grades.” 

“I didn’t realize that, but here the ninth graders go to the high school.” 

“Yeah, so we’ll be the oldest ones at the school this year.”

“Yes, you and Dakota will be, and Jamie will be in the next oldest group.” 

“So the school’s nickname is the Cubs?” Dakota followed. 

“Yes, because the high school’s mascot is the Golden Bear.”

“That’s better than my old school.  They were the Trojans and the other schools would call us the abortions,” Jamie added. 

“That’s disgusting, but what was your school’s actual nickname?”

“We were the Warriors, but nobody else ever called us that.” 

“Well, I don’t think the other schools will have any derogatory nicknames for you this time.” 

“Good.” 

“Man, is it gonna take us this long to get to school every day?” Dakota asked as we pulled into the parking lot.

“Yes, it’s a half hour to get here and sometimes a little longer to get home, depending on traffic.” 

“Dang, everything is so far away here.” 

“It could be worse.  The other school I applied to is an hour away.” 

“Then I’m glad you didn’t get that job,” Glen added sarcastically. 

Once we got out of the SUV, they followed me inside and I led them to the main office.  The secretary was working at her desk. 

“Hello, Mr. Schultz.  I’m surprised to see you here, because the meeting is at the high school.” 

“I know, but I came here to enroll my sons before the meeting started.” 

“Did you get married this summer?” she asked in surprised as she glanced at the three boys behind me.  “Are these your new step-sons?” 

“No, they’re my sons.  I adopted them last month.” 

“I didn’t know you were looking into adopting anyone.” 

“I wasn’t, but a friend brought these boys to my attention and they needed a place to live, so I took them in.  We got along so well that I decided to also adopt them.” 

“That’s very admirable of you and these young men are very lucky.”

“Yeah, we are,” Dakota quickly agreed.  “Dad’s a great guy.”

“He certainly is,” she agreed, “so what grades are these three in?”

“Dakota and Glen are in eighth grade,” I said as I pointed at each one. 

“And I’m s’posed to be in seventh,” Jamie interjected, cutting me off. 

“Supposed to be?” she asked in response. 

“He’s in seventh grade and just picked a poor way of stating it.”

She seemed to accept my answer and gave me the paperwork for each one, and as I was filling everything out I mentioned something to her.  “I was thinking they could walk around and check out the building while I was at the meeting, but I’d like for you to give them a permission slip to do that, in case any of the staff questions what they’re doing.” 

“Certainly, I’d be happy to do that,” she agreed, although she didn’t look convinced. 

“I promise they won’t cause any problems.  I just want them to get used to the building so they won’t get lost on the first day.  I’ll drive back to pick them up as soon as the meeting ends.” 

“Ok and they can come back here if they need anything or have any questions,” she agreed. 

After I finished filling out the paperwork, I gave it all back to the secretary and she handed the boys the note she’d written for them. 

“Thanks for your help,” I told her.  “I’m going to take the boys to get some lunch now, but I’ll drop them off after we finish eating and then head over to the meeting.” 

She nodded in understanding and we headed out to the SUV.  I then drove over to a place I dined at on occasion and we had a nice lunch, and after we finished I drove back to the middle school.  Before the boys got out, I gave them a final word of advice. 

“Follow the diagram in the handbook and take your time looking around.  The custodians are still stripping and waxing floors so don’t walk into any of the areas that look as if they’re being worked on, and that includes the gym.  They might be stripping and repainting the floor in there as well.” 

“Ok, we’ll just walk around the halls and won’t go anyplace that looks like its bein’ worked on,” Glen agreed for all of them. 

“Good, and then I’ll meet you out in front when I get back.  I imagine the meeting will last about an hour or an hour and a half, so be ready when I return.”

“What’s the meeting about?” Dakota asked.

“It’s primarily to introduce the new teachers who were hired over the summer and then the principals will tell us about changes to their buildings or any information they think we should know.  They’ll also tell us about when the first faculty meeting will be held for each building, as well as any events that will be coming up shortly after school starts.” 

“Oh, ok.  I was just wonderin’,” he replied. 

I then warned them again to be careful and not get into any trouble, and then I drove over to the high school.  The meeting was being held in the auditorium, but most of the faculty was mulling around outside in the hallway when I arrived.  After greeting a few of them and chatting about our summer and what we expected the new school year to be like, there was an announcement directing us to go to the auditorium and take our seats.  We went inside and settled in for what was to come. 

The Superintendent spoke first and greeted us, and then he informed us about his hopes and plans for the upcoming school year.  He then introduced each of the principals, who in turn introduced the new faculty members they’d hired to fill the positions created by either retirements or those who’d left for other positions.  I knew of a couple of teachers who had moved out of state after their spouses were transferred, so there would be new faces at the high school, middle school, and elementary school this fall.  The various principals had each of the new hires stand when their names were mentioned, so the rest of us would know who they were so we could welcome them later. 

After that, each of the principals gave a brief statement about his school, and then the Superintendent broke us into smaller groups and directed the various faculty members where they should go.  The high school teachers were to remain in the auditorium, the middle school teachers were directed to go to the cafeteria, and the elementary teachers were told to head to the gymnasium.  Since I worked at all three locations, depending on where I was needed, I chose to go with the middle school group, since that was where my sons would be attending.  When I got there, I sat down with a group of teachers I was somewhat close to and we chatted briefly before the principal got started. 

“How did you decide on which meeting you were going to attend?” one of them asked. 

“I adopted three boys this summer and they’ll all be attending the middle school, so I thought this was the place I should be.” 

“You adopted three boys this age all at once?  Are you crazy?” another one teased. 

“Possibly, but they’re good kids and we’ve all gotten along really well so far.” 

“Then I hope it continues,” the first one responded, “because they’re entering the age when teens and parents don’t always hit it off.” 

“Oh, I’m well aware of that, since I deal with angry teens in my job, so I’m prepared, but I doubt it will happen.  These three boys are just happy to have a safe and loving place to live now.”

“I hope you’re right,” he said, just as the principal asked for our attention. 

During the meeting, he outlined the various goals he’d set for the upcoming year and went over special events and dates we needed to be aware of.  He also mentioned various committees that required new members and asked for volunteers, and most of the spots were filled by the new hires who’d happily volunteered for those jobs.  Once that had been taken care of, he suggested that the various department heads should schedule a meeting for after school on the first day so they’d be able to discuss any issues that might have arisen during the day.  When the meeting ended, I asked those I was sitting with what types of things I would need to buy for the boys before school started, and then I thanked them for their help and said goodbye. 

I drove over to the middle school to pick up the boys next, and they were waiting out in front when I got there.  Their faces lit up when I pulled up along the curb, so I assumed this meant they hadn’t got into any trouble while I was gone. 

“We was wonderin’ how long we’d have to wait for you,” Jamie stated as he hopped inside.

“The meeting went quickly and we covered everything that we needed to go over.  So how did you make out?” 

“It was all good,” Dakota answered, “and it’s pretty easy to get around the buildin’.” 

“Yeah, and we stayed away from the areas they was workin’ on,” Glen followed. 

“Did anyone stop you and ask what you were doing there?”

“Yeah, a couple of the janitors did,” Jamie answered. 

“And some woman,” Glen added.  “We just showed them the note the secretary gave us and we didn’t have a problem.”

“I’m glad I thought of having her do that and the woman you encountered was probably one of the aides.  They’ve been helping the teachers they work with get set up for the first day.”

“So the teachers have been workin’ already?” Jamie asked.

“Yes, most of them have probably been there all week making sure their classrooms were set up the way they want and that they have everything they need.  Some of them are getting new textbooks this year, so they probably wanted to make sure they’d all arrived.” 

“I didn’t know teachers started before we did?” Jamie followed. 

“Yes, they spend a lot of extra time at school that you aren’t aware of.  Not only now, but many work late each day after classes end, and many also come in on vacation days to do things as well.” 

“I just thought they was there when we was.” 

“No, they have other things to do, like preparing the next day’s lessons, grading papers, and preparing quizzes and tests.” 

“We wouldn’t complain if they didn’t do that,” Dakota teased. 

“You might not, but their department chairman and the principal definitely would.  They need to be able to evaluate how each student is doing.” 

“So why haven’t you been going in?” Glen followed.

“I don’t have a classroom to set up, and my office doesn’t have much in it, seeing I work in all three buildings.  I can get it set up the first day, because I won’t have any requests to meet with any of the students for at least a couple of days.” 

“Then you’re lucky,” he added. 

“Indeed I am.” 

I then drove home, while also thinking about what I was going to fix for dinner when we got there.
