Chapter 66 – Minor Battles.

When my alarm went off on Tuesday morning, I woke all of the boys first and then I went down to make their breakfast.  After we’d finished eating, I made sure they got dressed and were ready for school.  I also checked to see that Aaron had his suitcase and Reece had his backpack before we piled into the SUV and took off. 

When we reached the school, I had Aaron leave his suitcase in the SUV, and then I told my boys and Aaron that I’d pick them up at the end of the day.  Once they understood, they entered the middle school and I drove over to the elementary school, because that’s where I’d be spending the entire time. 

It proved to be another uneventful day, and when it ended I drove over to the middle school to pick up the boys.  Jamie and Aaron came out to join me as soon as they saw me pull up in front of the school, just as the last bus was leaving, so I could take Aaron home.  Glen stayed in the cafeteria to work on his homework and I’d have to return to pick up Dakota and Glen after Dakota got out of his art club meeting. 

“Did you two have a good day?” I asked the younger pair when they got in the SUV.

“Yeah,” they both agreed. 

“But now I gotta go home,” Aaron whined. 

“Don’t let your parents see that you aren’t enthused about returning home, and don’t worry because you’ll be able to join us again in a couple of weeks for the Halloween party.”

“Yeah, I know, but I wish I could stay with you a lot longer.” 

“We enjoyed having you too, but all good things must come to an end,” I offered. 

When we arrived at Aaron’s house, I got out so I could retrieve his suitcase from the back.  Karen came out to greet us as I was doing that. 

“Did you have a good time?” she asked her son. 

“Yeah, it was a total blast.  They have a lot to do there and I loved stayin’ with them.” 

“I really appreciate that you did this for us,” she told me after listening to her son. 

“You’re very welcome and Aaron can join us any time.  He was a pleasure to be around.” 

“Are we talking about the same boy?” she teased as she wrapped an arm around her son’s shoulders. 

“Yes, the one and only, and Jamie was thrilled to have him around.  I hope you and your husband had a good time while you were away.” 

“Yes, it was very nice.  So what did you do while you were away?” she asked Aaron.

“We went swimmin’, played UNO, watched movies, and they taught me how to drive a four-wheeler too,” he blurted out. 

“That sounds wonderful, and I didn’t know you had a pool,” she added as she turned toward me.

“I don’t.  I have a pond with a dock that we jump off of to get in the water, and then we use the ladder on the dock to climb out afterward.  It was a little cool and probably the last time we’ll use it this year, but the boys seemed to enjoy it.” 

“I bet they did and a pond sounds nice too.” 

“Their house is really nice and it’s big too, and Eric’s a really good cook, just like you.”  I was glad Aaron had offered that last part to his statement so he didn’t offend his mother. 

“Wow, it’s sounds as if you had everything under control.” 

“Fortunately, I had a few skills before I adopted the boys and they’ve come in handy with them around.” 

“I’m impressed and we appreciate everything you did for us and Aaron.” 

“It was my pleasure.” 

I then got back in the SUV and Jamie and I waved at Aaron and his mom as I drove away, and they waved back at us.  We then returned to the school, Jamie worked on his homework until art club ended and Dakota joined us as well.  Reece was with him and I asked if he would like me to give him a ride home? 

“Nah, I can walk.  I don’t live that far away.” 

“Ok, then I’ll see you tomorrow when you join us to do your homework.”

As Reece began his journey home, the boys and I went out and got in the SUV.  As the boys settled in for the ride, Dakota turned on the radio so they could listen to music.  I was ok with that, since it helped them pass the time without bickering. 

When we reached the house, we hurried inside and I urged the boys to finish their homework while I was fixing dinner.  About forty minutes later I called them out to eat, and then we sat down at the table together. 

“Thanks for letting Aaron stay here over the weekend,” Jamie stated in between mouthfuls.  “We both had a lot of fun, and I know he’s gonna be here for the Halloween party too, but when can he stay over again after that?”

“That depends on his parents, because he knows he’s welcome to come back whenever he wants.” 

“K, I’ll tell him that too.” 

Once we finished our meal, I told the boys to bring their homework to me as soon as it was done and then they could do whatever they wanted for the rest of the night.  Over the next couple of hours I checked their homework, and that pretty much took us to bedtime.  When I sent them upstairs to shower, Jamie came over to ask me a question. 

“Can I shower with you and Kota?” 

“I think you’ve showered with me enough this weekend.  Besides, I’m disappointed that you told Aaron so much about what happens here.” 

“He was ok with it, so there wasn’t a problem.” 

“No, not this time and we were very lucky it worked out that way, but it could have ended poorly.”

“I was pretty sure he wouldn’t mind.” 

“But you weren’t positive and you didn’t check with me first, so you were basically taking a chance that what you told him could break up this family and get me sent to prison.” 

“I told ya I’m sorry and I won’t do it again.” 

“I hope not, but you did it a couple more times while Aaron was here after you made that promise.” 

“I know, but I won’t do it with anyone else.” 

“I certainly hope not or you and your brothers may be living in a group home, foster homes, or out on the street again.” 

“I don’t want that to happen.” 

“Then be careful about what you’re saying.” 

He then went upstairs and he even used one of the other bathrooms to shower in this time, so when I got to my bedroom there was only Dakota waiting for me. 

“I had fun with Reece over the weekend, but now I get to shower with you before we make love.”

“Yes, it’s Tuesday and that’s what I promised you, but what did you do with Reece this time?”

“Glen told me he was lettin’ Brady fuck him, so I talked Reece into doin’ that to me too.  He’s not ready for me to do it to him yet, but I think he liked doin’ it to me.”

“I guess that worked out then.”

Once we finished talking, I showered with Dakota and we washed each other, and then we hopped into bed so I could make love to him.  It was very similar to the other times we’d done this, and after we finished we cleaned up, cuddled, and fell asleep. 

When school ended on Wednesday, I went to the cafeteria to see if I could help Glen, Dakota, and Reece with their homework.  Reece needed some assistance with an English assignment this time, so I did what I could to help him out.  We’d finished doing it by the time Jamie and Aaron got out of chorus practice, so I had the boys finish up so I could take Aaron home before we headed to our place.  Once again Reece said he would walk, so the rest of us loaded into the SUV. 

When I pulled into Aaron’s driveway, Karen came outside, but since she didn’t immediately follow Aaron into the house, I felt she must want something so I got out to speak with her. 

“I just wanted to thank you again for taking Aaron over the holiday weekend, but he seems to have the impression that we can allow him to do it again in the future.  I know you’ve invited him to stay with you again for the Halloween party, but he wants to do it more often than that so he can ride on the four-wheelers again.  Are you ok with this and is he correct that you’ve agreed to let him do this at other times as well, or did he get it wrong?” 

“No, he got it right, because I told the boys we’d be happy to have them come back anytime they wanted.  We’ll be able to ride the four-wheelers until it snows, but they aren’t experienced enough to drive in bad weather yet, and there are plenty of other things they can do instead.  I bought a bunch of games they can play, plus we also have a PlayStation and two computers they can use.”

“Ok, but I think the Halloween party will be soon enough for him to do it again.  When he starts pestering us to stay with you again after that I’ll give you a call first to make sure it’s ok with you, and if you agree I guess we’ll let him do it again.  He really enjoyed the time he spent with you.”

“And we enjoyed the time with him, and don’t worry so much about him doing this.  My boys love having the company and there’s plenty for all of them to do.  It’s also easier than asking someone else to put up with the three of them or sending the boys off to spend time with different friends at the same time.  By the way, if you don’t mind then Aaron can spend the entire weekend with us again when he comes for the Halloween party.  We don’t live close to the school, so it’s easier if he and the others ride home with us after school on Friday and then for me to take them to school on Monday.”

“Yes, I suppose that will be alright and it’s really nice of you to do this for him and the others.”

“It actually helps me too, because then I don’t have to entertain my sons.”

Now that we finished our discussion, I got in the SUV and started for home.  We hadn’t gone very far before Jamie asked a question. 

“What was you and Aaron’s mom talkin’ about?”

“She wanted to know why I let her son run around my house naked when he stayed with us.” 

“She did?” he shrieked as his eyes bulged out of their sockets. 

“No, I’m just kidding.” 

“Oh, good, cuz I was worried, but what was you talkin’ about then?”

“Damn, you are nosy, but if you have to know she said that Aaron told her I said he could stay with us anytime and she just wanted to make sure he didn’t misunderstand.” 

“So when’s he comin’ next?”

“She said she thought the Halloween party would be soon enough, but he’ll be coming again after that.”

“K, but when?  I wish she’d let him come more often.”

“I know, but she and Aaron’s dad also like to spend time with him, so I’m not sure how often he’ll be able to do it.”

“Ok, but I hope he can do it as much as Brady.”

He was quiet during the rest of the ride home and I knew he was thinking that it wasn’t fair that Glen and Dakota’s friends would be staying with us more often than Aaron.  There was nothing I could do about it, though, since it was the other boys’ parents that were making the decisions, and I couldn’t help it that Reece and Brady’s parents were more lenient where this was concerned. 

Jamie didn’t say anything else before we reached the house, and he didn’t really say much for the rest of the night either.  I assumed he was pouting, but I was mildly surprised when he didn’t ask to sleep or shower with me either.  Was it because he thought I was upset with him about the things he’d told Aaron, or was he upset with me about not talking Aaron’s parents into letting him come more often? 

When Dakota and I were showering, he made a comment about it as well, and I told him I didn’t know why Jamie hadn’t asked to join us.  That seemed sufficient for him, so we merely washed each other and then went out to cuddle as we fell asleep. 

When I went to the cafeteria to check on the boys on Thursday after school it was Dakota who needed some help, and after I’d worked with him I waited to see if anyone else had any problems.  Once again, Jamie didn’t say a word to any of us, so I felt I might have to sit down with him to discuss this later. 

When Glen came to join us after band practice, Brady was with him.  “My dad says I can stay with you this weekend if it’s ok with you?” 

“Yes, that will be fine, but what about the football game?  Isn’t this one away?” 

“Yeah, and it’s far away too, but he said it would be ok if I didn’t go this time.  My mom is gonna get really mad when she finds out.” 

“And you’re dad is still going to let you come knowing this?” 

“Yep, he said he can deal with my mom, and he also said I could take his gym bag with my clothes in it on the bus.” 

“Ok, then I’ll meet you tomorrow morning so you can leave it in my SUV.”

“K, thanks.  My dad’s waitin’ for me outside, so I’ll go out and let him know you said its ok.”

Once he took off, I turned to let the boys know I was ready to leave and I could tell from the expression on Jamie’s face that he wasn’t happy.  Now, I knew I’d have to speak with him when we got home.

Dakota turned on the radio so they could listen to music, and when I looked in the rearview mirror there was a definite difference in the two boys sitting in the seat behind me.  Glen was smiling and excited since Brady would be spending the weekend with us again, while Jamie was frowning and obviously upset.  When we got to the house, Jamie was the first one to open his door and get out, even before I’d turned off the engine, so I took the situation in hand.

“Jamie, hold up.  I think we need to talk.”  He acted as if he hadn’t heard me, so I spoke again.  “JAMIE, STOP!”  This time he came to a halt.  “I said I wanted to speak with you, so hold up.” 

In order to make sure he didn’t try to take off again, I walked with him as we went inside, because I was going to speak with him even before I made dinner.  I led him to the family room and had him sit on the sofa next to me. 

“Look, I know you’re upset, but there’s nothing I can do about this.  The decision is made by their parents, not by me.” 

“BUT IT’S NOT FAIR!” he screamed. 

“Maybe not, but the only other option I have is to stop all of your friends from staying over.” 

“NO, don’t do that,” he countered looking shocked.

“If I don’t, then you’re going to get upset whenever one of the other boy’s friends stay over.” 

“But I’d rather have Aaron stay over once in a while than not at all.” 

“I know, but it will mean you’ll have to stop getting upset on the other weekends, because you know at least Reece will be here with us.” 

“I know, and I wish Aaron’s parents would let him do that too.” 

“The situations are totally different.  Reece’s mother is letting him do it because he’s safer being here when his father is drinking all day long on the weekend.  Brady has an unusual situation as well, in that his mother doesn’t want to let him do anything and his father is trying to prevent that from happening.  Aaron, however, has loving parents and they like to spend time with him too.”  

“I know, but I just wish he could stay here more.” 

“I know I can’t make it more even with Reece’s situation, because he stays the entire weekend, but what if I do this.  When Brady stays over I’ll have to take him home on Sunday, but what if I try to talk Aaron’s parents into letting him stay the entire weekend, like Reece does whenever he is able to come?” 

“Do you think you can do that?”

“I’ll do my best to talk them into it, but I can’t promise, but his mother already agreed to let him do that when he comes for the Halloween party.”

“Really, that’s great and it will help a little.”

“Then let me speak with Aaron’s mother again about doing the same thing on the other weekends he stays over too.” 

“K, I hope she lets him do that then.” 

“But at most it will probably only be one weekend each month.” 

“Yeah, I know.” 

“Do you have any homework left to finish?” 

“No, I got it all done in the cafeteria.” 

“Then go do whatever you want while I’m fixing dinner and then I’ll check it over when we finish eating.” 

“K,” he said and I headed out to the kitchen while he turned on the TV. 

Not only was Jamie in a better mood during the meal, but the other two were in an upbeat mood as well.  It might be due to their friends joining us the following night, but then again Dakota might have been happy because it was Thursday and I’d be making love to him again.  No matter the reason, it was nice to see smiling faces around the table, at least when they weren’t stuffing food into their mouths or chewing. 

After we finished our meal and had taken care of the dishes, I took time to check over the boys’ homework, and in between I was doing laundry.  When we got upstairs to prepare for bed, Jamie came over to ask Dakota and me a question. 

“Can I shower with you guys tonight?” 

“Yeah,” Dakota answered for both of us, “and I suppose you want Dad to suck you off too?”

“I wouldn’t mind if he’d do that too.”

“Ok, if it doesn’t take too long,” Dakota replied for me. 

After we undressed, we all headed into the bathroom together and I washed both of the boys first.  As soon as I finished with them, they washed me next, and then we dried off and went into the bedroom.  Both boys hopped onto the bed and lay side-by-side, and I positioned myself at Jamie’s feet to begin.  I grabbed Jamie by the ankles and lifted them until his feet were on either side of his head, folding him in half, and then I started to rim him. 

“Hey, how come you never did that with me?” Dakota whined. 

“I’ve only done this with Jamie once before and never thought about doing it with you as well,” I said after I stopped my ministrations with Jamie.  “I’ll do this to you if you want, but let me finish with Jamie first.”

Dakota stopped complaining and I got back to work.  After I finished rimming Jamie, I sucked him off as well, and then he returned to his bedroom to sleep because I think he knew Dakota and I had other plans. 

As soon as he left, I shut the bedroom door and went back to take care of Dakota.  “I want you to do to me what you did to Jamie.” 

I didn’t have a problem with that, so after we’d made out for a while and I’d worked my way down the rest of his body, I rimmed him the same way I did it with Jamie.  When I finished, Dakota told me what he thought of doing it that way. 

“It wasn’t as comfortable, but it felt a lot better.”

“Yes, Jamie said that too, and he thought my tongue went in deeper when I did it that way.  I told Jamie it was probably because I had a better angle.” 

“Yeah, and I think it’s why it felt better too,” he agreed as if it hadn’t dawned on him before. 

After we’d done that, I made love to him again, and after cleaning up we cuddled together before falling asleep. 

The next day started off as usual, but when we got to the middle school I waited around for Brady to get off his bus so I could put the gym bag with his things in it in the SUV.  Once I’d taken care of that, I drove to the high school because I’d be spending the day there, since there wasn’t a game that we’d be rushing to get to later. 

When I returned after school had let out, the boys were all waiting for me and came out to get in the SUV as soon as I pulled up.  Of course I’d waited until the buses had left first; otherwise I’d have to park in one of the faculty parking areas.  As soon as we were all loaded up, I headed home. 

“You boys are on your own while I fix dinner,” I told them when we arrived at the house.

“This is neat, cuz I’m gonna get more time here with you guys since I don’t hafta go to the football game,” Brady stated as the other boys, except for Glen, took off. 

“I know, but I’m sure it’s not so neat for your dad.  He’s probably dealing with your mother about now.” 

“Yeah, but he’ll mostly just not listen to her, cuz they’ve talked about things like this a whole bunch of times already.” 

“That may be, but I’m sure he’s still getting an earful.”

He and Glen then took off and I went about my duties.  Approximately forty minutes later dinner was ready, so I called the boys to eat.  Near the end of the meal, I asked them a question. 

“What would you like to do next?”

“Let’s play a game,” Brady suggested. 

The others thought that would be fine too, so I made a suggestion.  “We can all play Clue, so how about doing that?”

Even though the boys might not have ever played it before, they were all somewhat familiar with the game from references to it on television programs and in movies.  However, I went over the rules quickly first, to make sure, and then we played.  I was able to play with them as well, seeing the game was designed for two to six players. 

After playing that game a couple of times, the boys were ready to turn in.  I think Glen and Dakota wanted to get up to their rooms so they could mess around with their friends, and I knew Jamie would have plans for me as well.  The four older boys raced up the stairs to see who could undress and get to the shower in the master bath first, and by the time I reached my bedroom Reece and Dakota were already in there. 

“We almost beat ‘em,” Brady said as he stood naked in front of me.  I was still amazed by how much he had changed since the first time he’d stayed over. 

“I’m sorry they beat you, but you can go in next,” I offered. 

“Thanks,” he responded simply. 

Once Dakota and Reece came out and headed over to Dakota’s bedroom, Glen and Brady went in to shower next.  Once we were alone, Jamie asked a question. 

“Can I shower and sleep with you tonight?”

“Does this mean you’re no longer upset with me?”

“Yeah, I know it’s not your fault that Aaron can’t stay here more often, but I hope his mom and dad will let him start spendin’ the whole weekend here when they let him come.” 

“I told you I’d work on that.” 

“I know, so can I shower and sleep with you?” 

“Yes.” 

“And can we do that other stuff too?” 

“Yes, we’ll just make sure we shut the door first.”

“K.”

Once Glen and Brady finished up, Jamie and I went in to shower next and after we washed each other, I rimmed and sucked him off.  Once he was satisfied, he cuddled with me and we fell asleep.  I was glad to see he was starting to grow up.
