Chapter 73 – Getting Ready for the Holidays.

When we got to the house, I fixed something to eat, and when we finished Reece asked me to join the rest of them to play a game.  He wasn’t exactly happy with my response, but I told him I was tired from the long drive and wanted to rest up instead.  Although unhappy, he didn’t push the issue before he and the other boys went upstairs to play video games instead. 

As soon as they left, I went to the family room and turned on the TV, and after I found a movie that looked interesting, I settled in to watch it.  I apparently fell asleep about halfway through it and didn’t wake up until the boys came stomping down the stairs after they grew tired of playing their games. 

“Whatcha doin’?” Reece asked when he saw me. 

“I was watching TV, but I apparently fell asleep and missed most of it.” 

“So are you rested enough to play a game with us now?”

I glanced at the clock before I answered.  “There’s enough time to play a quick game before I have to start fixing dinner.”

“So can we play UNO Dare!?”

“No, that takes too long.  You boys always drag it out so you can take advantage of doing more dares.” 

“How about regular UNO then?”

“Ok, I guess we have time for one game, as long as you boys don’t try to drag that out too.” 

“We won’t.”

As soon as the game ended, I went out and started preparing dinner while the boys went to watch TV.  When I eventually called them to the table, Reece immediately asked a question. 

“So can we play UNO Dare! when we’re done eatin’?”

“One quick game, if that’s what everyone wants to do.” 

They all said they did, so I agreed to do it with them.  Reece and Dakota sat on either side of me this time, but it really didn’t matter.  The boys chose to use the second set of House Rules this time, the set with the ‘Pick someone to…’ phrase starting many of the dares.  This meant I ended up doing something with each of them before the game ended. 

As soon as we had a winner, we all went into the family room to watch TV until it was time for bed.  Reece and Dakota plopped down on either side of me, Jamie slid onto my lap, and Glen sat on the floor between our legs.  This meant each of the boys was in direct contact with me and Glen had the remote.  Before long, he found a movie that we all agreed to watch. 

When the movie ended, we turned off the TV and headed upstairs, and on the way Dakota made a comment.  “I’m sleepin’ with you tonight.” 

“What about Reece?” 

“He and Glen have agreed to sleep together.”

“Ok, then I don’t have a problem with you doing this.” 

Dakota had been good about letting Caleb and Laine sleep with me while we were away, so it had been a while since I’d done anything privately with him and I was happy to give him some attention.  However, I told him I had to do something else before we got started, and he looked at me confused. 

“Jamie’s the only one who will be alone tonight, so let me shower and take care of him first, and then we can do whatever you want.”

“K.”

I then went over to Jamie’s room to let him know what I’d decided.  “Would you like to shower with me?” 

“I thought you was gonna do that with Kota?” 

“I am, but Dakota has agreed to let me take care of you first.” 

A huge smile broke across his face and he followed me back to my room.  As we prepared to enter the master bath, he looked over at Dakota and spoke.  “Thanks for lettin’ Dad do this with me.” 

“You’re welcome.  I didn’t want you to be the only one left out of things.”

I quickly showered with Jamie, and after I finished washing his body, I rimmed and sucked him off next.  As soon as he recovered from his release, he washed me and then we dried off and exited the bathroom. 

“Aren’t you gonna do something with him?” Dakota asked as Jamie headed for the door. 

“I took care of that in the shower and he’s satisfied for now.” 

“Oh, ok.”

Dakota then went in to clean up quickly, because we agreed it would be best if we showered after we made love, and when he came out we hopped into bed.  Before I had a chance to do anything, he attacked me first.  He was very affectionate tonight, possibly because it had been a while since we’d done anything together.  We made out a lot longer than usual, and then I began to slowly work my way down his body.  I hit all the sensitive areas like I normally did, and then I rimmed him before we got down to the nitty gritty. 

After I finished working on his butt, I lubed both of us up and slowly entered him.  He moaned in satisfaction while I was doing this, and once I was fully seated I slowly began to withdraw and thrust into him over and over again.  I used a nice, easy rhythm so we would both enjoy it, and Dakota was purring like a contented kitten the entire time.  Just before I reached my release, Dakota grunted and spewed his teen seed all over his abdomen and his anal contractions hastened me to follow suit.  Once I was completely drained, I bent down to kiss him. 

“Man, I almost always cum when we do this,” he gasped as soon as he recovered. 

“I don’t know whether it’s due to my penis’ larger girth, at least more so than the other boys, or that you’re more emotionally invested when you’re making love with me.” 

“I don’t know for sure, but I think it might be both of those things.”

“Yes, you’re probably right.”

A few minutes later we got up to shower, and when we finished we got back in bed and cuddled. 

“I know you didn’t mind when I had sex with Laine,” he said as he placed his head on my chest, “but it’s really better when I make love with you.” 

“I feel the same way.”

“I really love you, Eric, and I always want to be with you.”

“Even when I’m really old and my body is all wrinkled?” 

“Yep, even if you have to start wearin’ diapers.” 

“Thank you, but I hope that time never comes.  I also hope nothing worse happens, such as me getting dementia and not being able to recognize any of you boys or remember the wonderful life we’ve had together.”

“Yeah, that would really suck.”

After we told each other ‘I love you’ one more time, we kissed again and then Dakota closed his eyes and gradually drifted off to asleep.  I didn’t doze off nearly as quickly, so I spent the time staring at his face as the moonlight filtered into the room.  I prayed he would never leave me, but I’d understand if he eventually decided that he preferred someone closer to his own age.  I didn’t want to lose him, but his happiness was more important than mine. 

While we were eating breakfast the next morning, I decide to ask Reece a question.  “So how was your Thanksgiving?” 

“It was good.  My mom fixed a really nice dinner and I liked seein’ both of my grandmas and grandpas again.”  

“That’s really nice, but how did things go with your dad?”

“He was good and didn’t drink the whole time.”

“I’m glad to hear that.” 

“So did you guys have a good time with your friends?” 

“Yeah, it was really nice,” Dakota answered. 

“And I liked bein’ with Caleb again,” Jamie added. 

“And I had fun with Laine,” Glen chimed in. 

“I’m glad and I hope I get to meet them sometime,” Reece countered. 

“You will, because they’re coming here for Christmas and Laine and Caleb are going to stay with us until I take them home on January 2nd,” I explained. 

“Will I be able to stay here for part of that time?” 

“Of course, as long as it’s ok with your mom.”

“I don’t think she’ll mind if I do that.”

“Even so, just check with her to make sure.”

The rest of the weekend was fairly normal and we did the same things we usually did.  The only difference was that I asked each of the boys to make a Christmas list and give me some ideas about what types of gifts they wanted.  I included Reece in this request, because I wanted to make his Christmas special as well.  I’d buy something for Aaron and Brady as well, but I’d get more for Reece, since he had a lot less.  I knew Aaron and Brady’s parents would buy them plenty of nice presents, but I wasn’t as sure about Reece’s mom and dad.  I already had a couple of ideas of my own for what I was going to give each of the boys, but I wanted to make sure they got something they really wanted as well. 

The following school week was also fairly normal, and while I was driving Aaron home after chorus practice on Wednesday, he asked me a question.

“Can I spend this weekend with you guys again?”

“I’m afraid I’ve already planned something for this weekend, so that won’t be possible.”

“How ‘bout the next weekend then?”

“That would be fine, as long as you clear it with your parents first.”

“Ok, I will.  I’m sure they’ll let me, cuz it will prolly be the only time I can do it this month.” 

“I hope not, because we’ll be having a New Year’s party and we want you to be there for that too.”

“Then what if we ask my mom about both of those things when we get to my house.” 

“That’s a really good idea,” I agreed. 

Since his mother didn’t come out to meet us this time, I walked him to his door and she was waiting there as we entered.  Before she could even greet us, Aaron blurted out his question excitedly. 

“Can I stay with them the weekend after this one?  And Eric said he wanted me to come to their New Year’s Eve party too.” 

“Can I at least say hello to Eric first and thank him for driving you home?”

“Oh yeah, go ahead.”

“Thank you.  I’m glad I have your permission.” 

We then exchanged greetings before she answered her son’s question.

“I’ll have to check with your father first, but I’m sure both of those times will be ok.  Your brother said something about possibly going to a New Year’s Eve party too, so if you’re both gone then your father and I can plan to go out and celebrate with our friends.”

“Yeah, that’s a good idea.” 

“Seeing New Year’s Eve is on Monday,” I interjected, “I thought I could pick Aaron up on Saturday and bring him back on Wednesday.  Would that be ok with you?”

“Yes, that would be fine.”

Now that this had been settled, I went back out to the SUV and started for home.  I hadn’t driven very far before Glen asked a question. 

“Can I tell Brady about what you told Aaron, so he can check with his dad about spendin’ both of those times with us too?” 

“Yes, and I was going to suggest that.” 

“Ok, I’ll tell him tomorrow night at band practice, and seein’ his dad picks him up afterward, you can ask him before we go home.” 

“Yes, that sounds like a good idea and it will give Brady’s dad an opportunity to figure out how he wants to break the news to his wife.”

“Ok, then I’ll tell him about both times before practice and let him know we’re gonna ask his dad when he picks him up.”

“That will be fine.”

“So what do you have planned for this weekend?” Dakota asked when I finished speaking with Glen. 

“I thought we could drive to the mall and do some Christmas shopping.”

“Oh, I didn’t think you’d want us to go with you when you did that.”

“I don’t want you with me when I’m doing the shopping, so you three can go off on your own to buy presents for each other.  Reece will be with us as well, so two of you can go into the store to buy things for the other two and then take turns switching partners until you’ve bought something for everyone.” 

“But we don’t got no money,” Jamie piped up. 

“I know, so I’ll give you one of my credit cards to use, along with a note giving you permission to use it.  Just don’t go overboard buying things.” 

“Ok, we won’t,” they all agreed. 

“Do you want us to let Reece use your credit card too?”

“You can charge his gifts to it, but one of you will have to sign the receipt, since his last name is different from ours.  He can also use it to buy something for his parents, but just don’t say anything to him about this just yet.  I’ll tell him as we’re heading to the mall.” 

“K.”

As soon as we arrived home, I sent the boys to do their homework while I prepared dinner.  After we ate and had cleaned up the dinner dishes, I checked their assignments quickly and then we went to the family room to spend some time together.  We watched a couple of programs and chatted during the commercials, before going upstairs to get ready for bed. 

After school on Thursday, I talked to Brady’s dad about having Brady join us the following weekend and for our New Year’s Eve party.  He was fine with all of it, although he thought his wife would be upset, but he said he’d handle the problem with her.  He also admitted that Brady spending time with us had been good for his son and he’d do whatever it took to make sure Brady could do it as often as possible.  He said it was nice to see Brady getting away from the house and breaking free of his mother’s apron strings. 

When the day ended on Friday afternoon, Reece was waiting for me with the other boys in the school lobby.  I didn’t take them directly home, because I thought they’d enjoy going to the high school basketball game instead, so I drove over to the diner so we could eat first.  During the ride there, Reece finally shared some news that he didn’t want to blurt out at the school when there were others around. 

“My mom said it was ok if I spend time with you after Christmas and I can be there for the New Year’s Eve party too.”

“So which days do you plan on being with us?”  

“You’ll prob’ly take me home on Sunday after I spend the weekend before Christmas with you, and then two days after that it will be Christmas.  How ‘bout you pick me up again on Wednesday and then I’ll stay with you guys until the next Wednesday.” 

“Did your mom say it was ok for you to stay that long?” 

“Yep, but only if it was ok with you.  I told her you was gonna have other boys stayin’ with you too and you had a lot of fun things planned for us.”

“Ok, that’s fine with me then, and if you want you can also ride with us when I take Laine and Caleb home, because I will also be doing that on Wednesday.  If you want to go with us, then I’ll drop you off on the way back.” 

“Yeah, that would be good.”

“So you don’t think your dad will notice that you’re gone for all that time?”

“Prob’ly not, but my mom said she’ll tell him I’m stayin’ with friends if he asks where I am.” 

“Ok, as long as she’s got your back.”

After we ate, we headed over to the high school so we could watch both the JV and Varsity games.  Each one was quite exciting and our teams won both contests, so the boys were in a good mood during the ride back to the house. 

“Are you gonna go to all the basketball games?” Reece asked as I drove there. 

“Some of the games are played during the week, so we probably won’t attend those, but we’ll go to the home games on Friday nights.  We might even go to the Friday games at the other schools, at least the ones that aren’t too far away.” 

“Ok, cuz that was fun.  I’ve never gone to one of those games before.” 

“Apparently Aaron and Brady don’t attend the basketball games either, probably because their siblings aren’t involved, but they can go with us when they spend the weekend.” 

“Yeah, they’ll prob’ly like that too,” Reece concurred.

It was fairly late when we got to the house, so we showered quickly before hopping into bed.  I’m sure Jamie and Glen fell asleep fairly quickly, but I wasn’t quite as sure about Dakota and Reece.  I thought they might decide to stay up and fool around for a while first, although I wasn’t about to ask. 

After we finished breakfast the next morning, I told the boys I wanted them to get dressed for the trip to the mall.  “We have some shopping to do, so dress accordingly,” I urged. 

Before they went upstairs to change, though, I sat down with each of the boys privately so I could find out what he was planning to get the others.  If it was something from that person’s Christmas list, then I made a note beside the item so we didn’t end up getting him the same thing.  Usually, however, they had their own ideas about what they wanted to buy the others.  

Reece appeared confused when I sat down with him.  “But I can’t buy them nothin’.  I don’t got no money.”

“I know, but I’ll take care of that because I know they all plan on getting something for you.” 

Once I finished doing this, I sent them upstairs to change, and when everyone was ready, we climbed into the SUV and took off.  Along the way, I decided to explain a few more things to Reece. 

“Reece, I told the other boys that I’m going to lend them one of my credit cards to use so they can pay for their purchases.  This includes whatever you want to buy for them and your parents, and I’ve told them how to do it so the others won’t see what any of you are buying for them.” 

“But I won’t be able to pay you back.” 

“I didn’t expect you to.  Remember, I think of you as another son, so I’m doing the same thing for you that I’m doing for them.” 

“Thanks,” he said as he gave me a toothy grin.  “Does that mean I can call you dad too?” 

I thought about this briefly before I answered.  “When we’re at the house or on trips like this you can, but please be careful and avoid making that mistake at home.  I’m sure it wouldn’t go over well with your mom and dad.”

“Yeah, that wouldn’t be good.”

As soon as we reached the mall, I handed Dakota the credit card and the note.  “You’ll have to keep sharing this as each group goes into each store, and please be careful that you don’t lose it.  If you do, then someone else will be enjoying Christmas at our expense.”

“Ok, we’ll be careful with it,” he agreed with the rest of them chiming in as well. 

“There’s one more thing before you leave.  Some of the stores will gift wrap your presents for you as well, but remember to remove the price tags first.  You should also write the name of the person you bought the present for in the upper left hand corner after its wrapped so you don’t forget which gift is for whom.  If the store doesn’t wrap presents, there’s a place in the mall that will do it for you, as long as you have the receipt to prove you bought it at one of the stores in the mall.” 

“That will be good, cuz I don’t like wrappin’ crap,” Glen announced. 

“Well, it’s not exactly crap,” I corrected, “but doing a good job wrapping gifts can be a difficult task.”

I also told them to stay together, at least in pairs, and then I’d meet up with them later at the food court.  I was sure they’d finish up before I did, so they could wait for me there and we’d grab a bite to eat before returning home. 

I had a lot more shopping to do than they did, seeing I was buying each of them more than one gift, so I had several bags to lug around by the time I was done.  I even asked one of the stores for an extra bag so I could disguise where I’d purchased some of the other items, and I had everything gift wrapped before I met up with them.  That way they couldn’t peek at what I’d purchased. 

When I located the boys, I suggested that we take our packages out to the SUV first, so we didn’t have to worry about someone pilfering them while we ate.  Once all of the bags were safely stored away, I had the boys help me spread a black piece of cloth over everything, so no one would be able to see what was inside.  The windows were tinted, except for the windshield, but I took this extra precaution so thieves wouldn’t target the SUV and steal everything while we were eating.  I had purchased the material specifically for this purpose.

After going back inside and filling our bellies, we made the return trip home.  Dakota found a radio station that was playing Christmas music, so we listened to that as I drove to the house.  We also sang along with many of the songs and it helped to pass the time more quickly, besides putting us all in the Christmas spirit.

After I pulled into the driveway, we took our packages up to our rooms and stored them in our closets.  Reece put his gifts in Dakota’s closet as well, although in a different location, and I warned the boys against trying to peek at what they were getting.  I said if I found out that anyone had done this, then they wouldn’t be getting anything on Christmas Day.  My warning proved to be an effective deterrent. 

Since we were all in the Christmas spirit, the boys suggested we should find a Christmas program to watch on TV.  To our utter delight, The Santa Clause happened to be on one of the channels, so we all settled in to laugh along with Tim Allen and the rest of the cast.  When the movie ended, we went upstairs to shower and turn in, but before the boys went to their rooms they thanked me for the great day. 

“It was my pleasure and I enjoyed it as well.  Besides, we needed to get the shopping out of the way so we can take care of other things in preparation for our guests.  Goodnight and sweet dreams.”
