"Tin hats everyone, they are back." Athol groaned, "How do they look?" Archie was comically peering round the curtain down into the courtyard. "Err, not sure." Athol sighed, shaking his head. "Not again." Archie sniggered, "Nope, I was wrong. They are all laughing." Athol jumped out of his seat and crossed to the window, "Archie, you are a complete bastard. You really had me going there!" They both began laughing. Niki looked up at me, "And they say we are crazy." ********************** Operation Pied Piper – Part 117d – Whale watching "Come on boys, lights out now. Put those comics away, please." Rhys Evans, the music teacher's, ears, were met with an almost universal, "Oh but Sir," from the boys of the first-year dormitory. "Boys enough. Those comics will still be here tomorrow. Now it is time to sleep. So put them away, please." More grumbles. He tried not to chuckle. He would have to speak to Dexy. His gift of those new colourful American comics with their superheroes was causing chaos, boys flying down the corridors, arms outstretched, not to mention a few sleepless nights of the ones who got frightened. It had all started last week, Dexy had arrived at the Castle carrying a box full of the new-fangled American comics for the boys. The young boys, of course, saw it very differently. With the wartime austerity in Britain, they had never seen such vividly colourful publications. Dexy had overnight become the boys' very own superhero. Even a few of the Masters had been seen surreptitiously clasping copies and vanishing into their rooms. But what was a fun read had projected one boy into a very real fantasy world, where he had become a 'quasi superhero' himself. Rhys switched off the dormitory lights and closed the door. Quietly, he made his way down the corridor to the on-call night-duty sleep room. Poising at the entrance, he had one last listen. Good, the Castle was all quiet. He reached for the light switch, and having extinguished the hallway lights, headed into the room. * Down in the first-year dormitory a figure lay watching for the light to go off under the dormitory door signalling Mr Evans was in his room. As soon as it had, he reached for his torch and pulled the covers over his head. The beam of light illuminated the concealed comic 'Daredevil Battles Hitler'. 'Daredevil' was in the boy's young mind a real-life superhero. He smiled to himself. Tonight was the night. * I am 'Daredevil' the superhero, I heard myself chuckle. For days I had been thinking about him, what he looked like under the mask, what he ate to give him his superhuman strength. This last point had me vexed. Surely, it couldn't be just ordinary food. Then a couple of days ago, quite by accident in the showers, I had interrupted the only other boy at the castle who I knew just had to be a superhero. You all remember, Fitzgordon, the boy who had been with Mr Evans and let us see his cock and body. Well, in the showers, he had gotten a first year down on his knees and the boy was sucking him. Fitzgordon was holding the boy's head, while the boy struggled to take his cock. I had listened as he said to the boy, "This is how I got my gigantic cock and muscles. I used to suck and swallow off lots of guys. So take it. It will make you big and strong and give you a big cock like mine as long as you swallow all my cum." The boy had greedily slurped on Fitzgordon until he came in his mouth. I had been thinking about what Fitzgordon had said a lot. He 'just' had to be a superhero. He had an amazingly muscled body and that enormous cock of his, and he had told that first year he would end up the same. Maybe the cum of other boys was the food of superheroes? But how could I get it without them knowing? I was too shy to just ask them. I needed a different plan. So now here I was, ready for my first super hero adventure. Closing the comic, I switched off my torch and lay listening to the other boys around me. It sounded like most were already sleeping. I glanced at my 'x-ray vision' watch, the green luminous hands informing me it was just before midnight. Another ten minutes and I would get up. I lay on my back, trying to keep perfectly still. Only my cut, three-inch cock was moving. Hard as steel, it bobbed up and down against my young stomach in anticipation of what was to come. I felt my little bellend pulse, oozing out my watery precum. My hand gripped my shaft. I so nearly groaned out loud. I pulled my hand away, resisting wanking my cock, like I had seen the older boys doing in the showers. I really wanted to, but for now, that would have to wait. I glanced around in the darkness, only just able to make out the slight dip in the mattress caused by the boy sleeping in the bunk above me. Alas, feeding on the guys in the top bunks would leave me too exposed and open to discovery should they wake up. I smiled to myself. Well, for now anyway, once I had my full powers...Then I would do what I wanted. I checked my 'superhero' watch again. Now was the time. I fetched the knitted balaclava ski mask my mother had sent me at Christmas from beneath my sheets and pulled it over my head, chuckling to myself. Fancy my mother sending me an invisibility mask. I lined up the two circular eye holes, then pulled the nose and mouth holes into position. Slipping out of bed, I pulled on my long black sports trousers, lifting the waist band up and over my hard shaft. In silence, I finally pulled on the thin black long-sleeved jumper, yet another Christmas present from my mother. Now I was all ready. Now I just had to decide what to call myself. What was that man called again? The Russian Duke, Drageon, yes that was it, like Dragon, I toyed with the word. No, I wasn't going to be like a dragon. Hmmm. I was going to be crawling around, no more like slithering. Hmmm. I looked down at myself in the dark room, my outfit worked. I was invisible, I couldn't see myself at all. Then it struck me, 'The Invisible Viper'. Stifling another little chuckle, I opened my mouth and waggled my little tongue, snake like, imagining I could taste the air. * The dormitory door opened, and he vanished out into the dark corridor. ** Davy continues the story the next day Things had been going rather well. I was feeling proud of my day in class so far. Nathan had been smiling and nodding and making very few notes. That must be a good thing. Then it all fell apart. "Mr Thomas Sir, Sir." "Yes Fulcrum." "Parnell said he saw the Castle Fraser ghost last night." I raised my eyebrows, Fulcrum turned to look at a blushing Parnell, then back at me. "He did Sir...He said it played with his willy, Sir." Taken by surprise, I am sure I gasped, "What?" I felt Nathan's eyes focus on me, waiting to hear what I would say. I needed to recover from this and quickly. "Fulcrum, there is no such thing as a ghost of Castle Fraser. Not a real one, anyway." "But Mr Thomas, Sir. I was told the ghost took that boy, Ron Jeffries, in the woods, and he was never seen again, Mr Thomas, Sir." "Fulcrum, you have been listening to too many daft stories, now back to your work, please." Fulcrum wouldn't let it go. "Tell him Parnell." I felt Nathan's eyes boring in to the back of my head. Bloody boy, why wouldn't he shut up? "Fulcrum, this is your last warning. No more talking and get back to your work." "I was only telling you, Sir. What if the ghost comes back?" I glanced round at Nathan. He was busy scribbling something in his notes, that bloody kid. I could now feel the rest of the boys watching me too, stupidly, I marched over to Fulcrum, slamming my hand down on his desk. "Fulcrum, enough. You stupid boy. There are no such things as ghosts. You, young man, have earned yourself a detention. See me after class." Little did I know at the time, but another set of eyes and ears in the class was watching and listening to my every word. By ridiculing Fulcrum and punishing him, I had just ensured that no other boy would dare reveal if anything similar happened to them. I felt Nathan standing behind me as the school bell rang for the end of the lesson. "Davy, can we have a word?" ** Athol continues the story. "Ah, good morning Forts, just who I was looking for. Come in, I need to update you about Gary, and I have a job for you." "Morning Dad. I need to speak to you too, about Carstairs." Forts pulled up a chair. I picked up the report on Gary. "Okay, shall I go first? Forts nodded and sat forward. "He is not going in a loony bin, Dad. I don't care how much it costs to look after him! I will pay it." "Forts wait. No one is going to be put in a looney bin, as you put it. Now I have to ask you not to reveal any of what I am going to say to anyone, including Davy. Can you do that? Forts nodded, "Yes Dad... Gary is going to be okay though, isn't he?" I heard myself sigh, "Well, Professor Hamilton's conclusion is that Gary has a 'split personality'. Seems Davy wasn't far wrong, with his Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde analogy. Anyway, it appears it is triggered by anyone threatening either you or me in his presence. Mr Hamilton states it is his opinion that Gary is of no threat to anyone, unless that happens." Forts looked relieved, "Thank God." "Now Forts, hang on, I will be honest with you. I wasn't happy to take that risk, not when we are responsible for all the boys here. But, Professor Harding and Archie, both seem to think I am wrong." I didn't get a chance to finish as Forts jumped up. "So do I. You are not sending him away... Dad, you can't! He is your brother!" "Forts, let me finish, please." Forts sat down, "Sorry Dad." "Professor Hamilton also states the only treatment he has seen work is, as he puts it, 'Nurturing, support, and removal of triggers'. I have to confess, I am still concerned, but I have agreed Gary can stay on at the Castle. But we must all support him and if he begins to act strangely again, I have to know. Do you understand? The pupils have to be our number one priority." Forts finally looked relieved, "I understand that, Dad. I promise if I see any concerning behaviour, I will let you know." I put down the folder, thankful and relieved that was over. Forts smiled expectantly, "So what is it you want me to do, Dad?" "How do you fancy accompanying Dexy to Fort George, well, showing him the way really? He has a load of stuff to go there and I thought you could keep him company. It would be a great opportunity to see Torcall again as well. Are you interested?" Forts was smiling, "Sure. Can I take Davy along too?" "Forts, I would love to say yes, but he has missed a lot of his in-class training already. I don't think Nathan would be very happy. How about taking McPhee and Niki?" I don't know why, but I glanced round like someone might be listening to me. "You would be doing us all a favour taking Niki. Ever since he received that letter, he has been walking around like he is, how did Dexy describe it? That's it, like he is twitterpated." Forts looked confused, "Twitterpated?" "Love struck!" Why was I whispering? Forts scoffed, "What, with the Princess Elizabeth?" "Shush, he is convinced he is going to marry her one day. Maybe you and McPhee can distract him a bit if you take him with you?" "But how?" "I don't know, son. Show him the whales and dolphins swimming off the coast. I don't know, but I am sure you will come up with something." Forts nodded, but didn't look convinced. Phew, hopefully I would finally get some peace. Forts shuffled in his chair, "Okay, we can try. Err... The only other thing Dad is, I am not sure how Davy will take me being away after what happened in Aberdeen." "Go on. I knew something had happened after Davy phoned. But when you all got back, you were all laughing, so I assumed everything was okay again." Forts squirmed in his chair. "Well, it kind of is... Dad, Leith had wanted Davy to sleep with him. McPhee got all defensive and protective of Davy and me although nothing happened between them." Forts was babbling, barely stopping for breath, "in the morning, McPhee apparently got the wrong end of the stick and grabbed Leith and told him I didn't trust him, in front of Davy, who immediately thought I had sent McPhee along to watch him, in case he got up to anything." "But Forts, you don't like Leith, everyone knows that... I can't believe you really asked McPhee to keep an eye on him. Did you?" Forts squirmed, "It sounds so bad when you say it like that." "How would you like me to say it?" "Dad! Okay, I did ask McPhee to go along, but to keep an eye on Leith, not Davy. Davy just didn't see it that way. He thought I didn't trust him. It was after what Leith did to me...I..." "Forts stop. This sounds like a comedy of errors. Can you go with Dexy or not?" "Err, yes. But I had better speak to Davy again." "You do that. If there is a problem, let me know straight away." Forts nodded. "Right, what is the problem with Carstairs?" "Dad, it's a bit personal. I want Professor Harding to examine him. His foreskin is very tight. So tight he cannot pull it back without pain when he gets hard." I sighed, "I won't ask how you know this." Forts didn't like my insinuation. "Dad, it's serious. It looks all red and sore and he said it hurts a lot." "Well, we had better get him looked at then. I have actually already asked the Prof. to examine all the staff and boys. I will get him to see Carstairs as a matter of urgency. I have asked him to stay on at the Castle." "The professor is going to stay on?" "Yes. Archie and I spoke to him the other night. He was saying there was not much more he can do for Dima. So was thinking he might have to return to London soon." I could see Forts didn't like the idea of him leaving the castle, either. "But." "Forts, that's why I asked him to stay on. I am pleased to say he has agreed." "That's great news Dad." "Yes, he is going to start by giving everyone a full medical. After that, we will have to think of some other reason to keep him here and occupied." Forts winked, "Now that sounds like a plan, Dad." The school end of class bell started ringing in the corridor. "Right off you go and speak to Davy, classes are just finishing." ** Professor Harding continues the story >From what Athol had told me at lunchtime, I needed to see young Carstairs and urgently. I set myself up in the medical room while Athol sent for the boy. I was quite impressed for a school. The room had a small sink, a desk, a few high-backed chairs, an adjustable padded examination table, with stirrups by the look of it. Above that there was an adjustable overhead light and a few cupboards. I would have a good look in them later. I waited a few moments, then there was a knock at the door. "Come in." Fort's head peered round the door. "Hello Professor, is it okay if I come in too? He is a bit nervous." "Of course, Forts. Come in, and you young man." The boy looked like he had been crying, he barely glanced at me, his eyes instead, flitting round the room. He just mumbled, "Hello Professor." I Stood up. Smiling, hoping he would see me as friendly, but looking at the floor as he was, I doubted he had. I reached out my hand, "Forts. And you must be Carstairs? Do you have a first name I can use? I haven't gotten used to all this surname stuff." The boy made the briefest of eye contact as he mumbled, "Edwin, Sir." "Edwin, pleased to meet you. Sit down and don't look so worried. I am not going to eat you." Thankfully, he got the joke and gave a little smile. The poor boy had looked terrified when he had come in. I was going to have to ditch some of my 'Hospital Consultant' ways if the boys were going to be comfortable with me, something I realised just then, I wanted more than anything. Edwin sat looking at the floor. Forts mouthed "He is embarrassed". I nodded and addressed Edwin. "So Edwin, I understand, there is something worrying you and you would like me to check it out." He glanced at Forts, who nodded gesturing towards me, "Go on Edwin, you can tell him." Edwin's eyes just filled with tears. Time for me to intervene. "How about you get up on the examination couch and I can have a look?" Forts got Edwin to his feet and over to the examination table. I smiled. "Edwin, I am going to put these stirrup attachments in to support your legs. They are nothing to be frightened of, they just make it easier for me to examine you, okay?" Edwin gave a brief nod. He was gripping Forts hand, his white knuckles showing how tightly. "Okay, Edwin, I am going to lift your kilt and have a little look, is that okay?" He nodded and turned away. Forts smiled down at him. This guy was something else. I had seen trained nurses with less empathy and compassion than Forts was showing. I slowly pulled back the boy's kilt. I had to stifle my gasp. My God, this kid needed surgery and urgently. I took a deep breath, "Edwin, how long has your penis been like this?" "A while now, since I started puberty properly." "Can I just examine you? It may hurt a little, but I will try to be gentle." He glanced at Forts again. Forts nodded to him, mouthing, "It will be okay." I very gently examined Edwin's swollen and red penis. "Okay, you can hop down and cover yourself up again. Come and sit back over here once you're comfortable." I went back to my desk and picked up the internal phone. "Athol, it's me. Yes, I have. Can you come along to the medical room?" Edwin and Forts joined me back at my desk and I explained to them both what the problem was and what was needed to fix it. A few moments later, Athol arrived and joined us. He patted a crying Edwin on the back and sat down. "Athol, can I just confirm that while the boys are with you at the school, you are their legal guardian in all things?" "Yes, that's correct." "Okay, I have just been explaining to Edwin that he needs a minor operation called a circumcision, to remove his foreskin. Otherwise, the symptoms he is suffering are just going to get worse and worse. Of course, he is worried about it. But I can see no other course of action we can take. With your permission, I will contact the local hospital in Aberdeen and arrange that I can conduct the procedure in the next couple of days. I really don't want to leave it any longer than that." Edwin let out a sob and cuddled up to Forts, who still had his arm round him. Forts gave him a squeeze and kissed Edwin's cheek. Edwin looked up at him and barely audibly whispered, "Will you come with me? I don't want to be alone." Forts nodded, "Of course, my little brother." "Athol?" "Whatever is needed, Professor Harding. He couldn't be in better hands if you're going to conduct the operation yourself. How long will Edwin have to be in hospital?" "Oh, he should be home the same day. It is all done under a local anaesthetic. He will be fine, I promise." I deliberately reached over and stroked Edwin's hand as I said that. He gave me half a smile back. ** Nathan fills us in about his chat with Davy and a bit more. The classroom door closed as the last boy left. I could see Davy was not happy. He was snatching up the text books from the desks. I spoke quietly, "How do you think that went?" He turned to face me. Struggling to keep his temper, his face flushing red as his eyes glassed over. "Nathan, if you ask me what went well and why and what didn't go so well, right now...I..." He sat down at one of the desks, a tear rolling down his cheek. "I know I fucked up. But I couldn't think how to stop him going on." I didn't say anything. "I mean, how do you stop them?" He put his head in his hands, "Maybe I am just not cut out to be a teacher?" I crossed over to him and pulled up a chair and put my arm round him. "Hey, come here. This isn't the Davy I know. Now, if I am not mistaken, I think something else is bothering you, am I right? You are really on edge, reacting like that is not you. " Davy nodded. I exhaled, "Is it Forts?" He wiped away a tear, "Isn't it always!" "Do you want to talk about it?" He turned and smiled at me, "I never seem to be doing anything else. I really need to pull on my big boy trousers." I leant in and gave him a kiss, "Hey that's not always easy, especially when you don't wear trousers." Davy laughed and nodded. "Thank you Nathan. Do you and Percy have silly rows?" "Of course, we do." "Really? I have never seen the two of you argue about anything." "Oh, I assure you we do. We are just lucky our lives are not as public as yours. Davy, you and Forts have a lot more pressure on you both than most of us will ever have. How many couples have to deal with one of them being identified as a long-lost member of the Russian royal family? No matter what anyone says, that cannot have been easy for either of you, but especially for you. And poor Forts, he is pulled in every direction. Everyone wanting or expecting him to behave in a certain way. He is just a boy at heart. I feel for him, it sometimes seems he can't do right for doing wrong. You do know he loves you, don't you?" Davy nodded. Then mumbled, "Sorry." He took another breath, "You had better show me what notes you made about today." "Only if you want to go over it now. We can always speak again tomorrow morning." Davy forced a smile, "Can we get it out of the way now?" I fetched my note pad. "Actually, they are not that bad, mostly positive, really. We all have pupils who try our patience, believe me. My only advice to you is to leave 'your private life' at the door. I know it's not always easy. But Fulcrum didn't know you were having a bad day. Why would he? He should have been quiet when you said, but he is only twelve." Davy shook his head, "What can I do to sort it out then? I gave him detention." "You did. How about using the detention time to work on a project together about the myth of the 'Ghost of Castle Fraser'. He can present it back to the rest of the class. That way, you will be helping him and giving him a pat on the back in front of the class, too." Davy hugged me, "Thank you Nathan. I wish you had been one of my teachers." "Hey, I am. Now no more talk about you not being a teacher anymore." Davy Nodded, "Thank you." * I left the classroom after Davy. I hoped our little chat had helped. I was halfway to the staffroom when I saw Forts. "Hi Nathan." "Don't you hi me. In here." I pulled a rather startled Forts into an empty classroom. "Hey! What's up?" He pulled his arm free as I lost it. "Just what do you think you're up to? Davy is a mess again, and once more, it is because of you!" "Nathan, I am not sure what..." "Forts shut up and listen. Now I know you're under a lot of pressure. I can't imagine what it is like, everyone wanting a piece of you. But, and it's a big but, that doesn't mean you can mess with Davy's head like this. I have had to mark his lesson down today because his head was worrying about something else you have done, instead of concentrating on his own work." "Nathan." "Forts, just listen for once. That boy worships the ground you walk on and yet you treat him like a bloody doormat!" Forts really looked like I had punched him, he seemed to stagger, "But." "I said shut up and listen. You are going to lose him or drive him crazy, one of the two, if you carry on the way you're going. Davy was in tears, blaming himself, telling me he has to pull on his big boy trousers! Well, you listen to me Forts, it is not Davy who has to. It's you! For God's sake, man, you're going to have a child to raise soon from what I hear, so wake up and man up. And begin treating Davy with the respect he deserves and try to stop lifting your kilt for anyone who asks." Forts stood silently. Shell shocked. "Nathan..." "Forts stop. I have said my piece. Now I have no intention of falling out with you. Percy and I love you both more than anything. Come here and give me a hug." Forts wrapped his arms round me and buried his face into my neck. I heard him sob, "Sorry Nathan." "Hey, you don't have to apologise to me. On you go." ** Forts takes up the story I had left Nathan and ended up in my usual thinking place: Daphne's memorial. My head was still spinning from the talking to Nathan had given me. I didn't want to lose Davy. I made my mind up. I would have to tell Dad I wasn't going to go to Fort George with Dexy. McPhee could go and take Niki and Dima, too, if he wanted to go. But I was staying with Davy. I headed back to the Castle and opened our apartment door and slipped inside. The place was silent, which was somewhat unusual. I crossed the hall and opened the sitting-room door and stuck my head round. Davy was stretched out on the couch with a cup of tea. "Hello gorgeous." He smiled round as I went in and took a sip from his tea. "Hi Forts." I crossed over and kissed him. "You do know I love you, don't you? He looked up at me questioningly. "What have you done?" "Nothing, honest." I perched my bum on the edge of the couch and rubbed his legs. "It's just I have been thinking. I am really sorry about... You know... What happened with Leith. I do trust you with all my heart. I really want you to know that." Davy sat up, "What's brought this on?" I didn't want to admit to the tongue-lashing Nathan had given me. "Oh nothing. As long as you still want to be with me." "Forts, what has gotten into you? Of course I do." Davy placed down his teacup on the side table. I leant in and kissed him. "Let's change the subject. I am just being silly." Davy gave me another questioning look. "Ooh, tea, is there one for me?" "It's over there." Davy nodded towards the sideboard. "Hmmf". I called out, "Marcus!" Nothing, "Marcus, are you free?" Davy chuckled, "You had better call a bit louder. He is with Denis at the farm. You gave him the week off, remember? They left at lunchtime." Standing up, I gave an exaggerated pretend flounce. "What? I have to make my own tea!" Davy chuckled, "Awful, isn't it, your Imperial Highness?" I turned back to him, "Davy, Davyeee...Would you make one for me?" Davy laughed, "Nope. Teapots over there." He waggled his head towards the sideboard again. "Pleaseee... Davyeeee." I knelt down in front of him and snuggled up. "Pleaseeee." He laughed again, "Nope. I have had a long day, too." I put on my sad, well, pathetic face really, and stomped across to the sideboard. I could hear him laughing; that was the sound I wanted to hear. I began making a terrible din once there, picking up cups and saucers and spoons, rattling them about. "Davyeee, what am I supposed to do?" "Oh, for Christ' sake Forts." Davy leapt off the couch and came over, grabbing a cup and saucer, pouring in the milk and then the tea." He thrust it into my hands. "Happy?" I pushed out my bottom lip and put on my puppy eyes. "Don't you love me anymore?" Davy made a "Hmmf" noise. I put down my cup of tea and grabbed him round the waist, pulling him back against me and began tickling him. Exaggeratedly sticking my lips out, trying to kiss him, as he ducked and dived to avoid me. "Come on, you know you want to. Kiss your Fortsiwartsi." He was laughing and struggling, shrieking, "I would rather be shot than poisoned." I nearly cried. I had my Davy back. Staggering round, laughing, we finally ended up together on the couch. Me on my back with Davy on top of me. He stopped laughing, his face was studying mine. That spooked me. "Davy, are you okay?" "Yes, I am fine. I just can't help loving you. You daft apeth." Before I could speak, he pushed his lips to mine. I mumbled into his mouth, "Thank goodness for that, because I love you with all of my heart." As we broke our kiss, I put on my pouty lips again, "What's a daft apeth?" "You are, you silly sod!" ********************** Folks, I really hope you're enjoying the story.
