Both touched it gently, their lips moving in silent prayer. With Murdoch playing, Minster Montrose led the sorry procession to the carpark, we all followed, watching in silence as it was placed into the waiting hearse. Forts and Davy spoke again briefly with the Campbells and walked them to the waiting car. They all said their goodbyes and the Rolls, driven by Andrei, followed the hearse as it left the carpark. ********************** Operation Pied Piper – Part 144b – Part 144b minor characters making an appearance: Cornelius Harding – (Harding/Con) Doctor at Castle Fraser. Tobias was going to have to drive them. It was times like this that I realised we had far too few drivers. I smiled to myself, probably best to keep that to myself. Finally, I got the chance to hug and speak to both the boys, William and Robin. They both sat like church mice in the back of the Rolls Royce, quietly watching us approach. Count Samara met Forts and me just outside, he quickly appraised us of the journey and how the boys were, then he called into the rear of the vehicle and said he would see them all again later. Politely, the boys both said goodbye and went quiet again. Forts thanked Samara, and I forced a big smile, which was immediately reciprocated by both of the boys. "Hello, you two!" I threw open my arms and William and Robin flew across the inside of the car to give me a big hug. Okay, maybe being a bit older, Robin was a bit slower, but he still gave me a hug, although his eyes seemed more focused on someone else who was standing ready to close the vehicle's door behind Forts. Forts got into the car, I saw both boys glance at him, unsure if it was okay to say hello. Forts must have sensed it, as he smiled too. "Boys, you are finally here. Sorry about all this. Davy and I have been really looking forward to you getting here. It's just a shame..." Forts glanced at me, I shook my head, and he stopped himself, he gave me a little nod, then turned to the boys. "Hey, don't I get a hug too?" Both of the boys nodded and gave Forts a hug, too. "Right, we had better show you where you will be staying and introduce you both to everyone." Forts reached for the intercom button and addressed Duke, who was at the wheel. "Duke, can you head to Castle Fraser first, please?" "Certainly, Your Imperial Highness." Forts glanced at me and raised his eyebrows, we both knew what that was all about. William looked puzzled. "Ave you got a Duke, driving your car?" I was about to answer, but Robin beat me to it. "No, silly, that's his name." Forts chuckled, "Easy mistake to make round ere." He teased William by dropping into his cockney voice. William huffed and folded his arms, pouting. Forts gave him a friendly prod, and they both laughed. I turned to Robin, "So what do you think of Scotland so far?" "I was expecting to see everyone wearing kilts, if I am honest." Forts roared, "Wait until we get to the School. All the boys there have to wear them." I felt a tug on my arm from William. "Will I have to wear one too?" I ruffled his hair, "Yes, and so do I. Forts used to!" William looked at Forts, "Will you wear one so I can see?" "Do you want me to? I haven't worn mine for ages." William nodded. I gave him a cuddle, "Good boy!" ** Chris takes up the story As the car left the carriage driveway and pulled towards the main entrance of Pittodrie I felt my body tense. I reached for James' hand. Robert, who was sitting opposite me in the rear facing jump seat, noticed and glanced round, he shook his head as he too saw Con Harding standing by the door. He mumbled something to Dima. He immediately reached for the intercom. "Tobias, not here. Take us round to the garages, please." "Certainly, Dima." The car began to accelerate away. I actually felt a momentary wave of relief then I heard Con's desperate voice calling after the car, "Chris! Please, I just want to speak to you." James heard it too. He looked back through the rear window, then turned back to me. He squeezed my hand and smiled at me reassuringly, "It's okay. I will speak to him." "No, it's okay. I know I will have to at some time." James squeezed my hand. "Hey, I am here for you. I love you, remember?" I nodded. Tobias pulled the car to a halt outside the garages. I noticed James and Samara glance back through the rear window. Dima leant towards me and smiled. "Chris, I will speak to Forts and Davy. This has to stop. Are you okay?" "Dima, please, don't worry Forts and Davy. I will have to speak to Con and sort it out." James grunted, "We will speak to him!" Dima nodded, "As long as you are both sure?" I nodded again not sure what to think anymore. ** Athol takes up the story I watched Forts' and Davy's car pull up by the entrance. Part of me was dreading seeing them, especially Forts. It broke my heart to see how upset and angry he was about Colin's death. I watched as Darius opened the vehicle's door. Darius was then joined by Duke one either side of the door. Davy was first out followed by the two boys from London, then Forts. Darius then closed the door behind him. Davy was pointing up at the Castle, the smaller boy stared up at it, his mouth open. The taller boy seemed more interested in watching Duke, who stood impassively, by the front of the car. The four of them, I am not counting Darius and Duke for obvious reasons, stood looking around for a few moments. I could sense Forts' smile was forced. Even from my vantage point, his eyes looked sad. I moved away from the window as Davy pointed up at the Castle tower battlements. He then pointed into the sky. I assumed he was telling the boys about spotting Hess' plane. Forts led them all into the Castle. Darius was just behind him, while Duke remained with the vehicle. I sat down at my desk and waited for the knock I knew was coming. "Come in!" I stood and broke into a smile as Forts and Davy came into the room. "Son, Davy, it is good to see you both." Forts forced another smile and nodded. "And you Dad." "And who are these two fine gentlemen?" I smiled again, looking at the two boys, one obviously younger, probably around twelve and the other older, around sixteen. Davy stepped forward, the smaller boy gripping his hand like his life depended on it. "Mr MacDonald, these are William Jenkins and Robin Little." The smaller boy stepped back as I leant forward. He glanced up at Davy, then back to me, his eyes wide. I had to stifle a chuckle. I suppose I was a bit intimidating standing over six feet tall, with wild red hair and beard and dressed in my long kilt. I looked between the two boys as Forts and Davy exchanged glances. "Now one of you grown up gentlemen has to be William Jenkins, Castle Fraser's newest pupil." The boy gripping Davy's hand glanced up at Davy again. Davy smiled and nodded at him, gesturing with his eyes for the boy to answer me. "I aaam William Jenkins." The boy said, his cockney accent bringing a smile to my face. Nervously, the boy returned it. "Well, welcome to Castle Fraser, Will. I have heard a lot about you." "My nameess William, sir, not Will. My Mam didn't like my name shortened. She said it was common." There was that cockney accent again. I winked at a grinning Forts, then back to William. "Well, we can't have that. William, it is then. Although you may also be called Jenkins by some of the Masters here, okay?" The boy nodded. Once more, his eyes scanned up and down my body, particularly focusing on my kilt. He beamed up at me as we made eye contact then glanced at Davy again, before turning back to me. "Do I ave to wear a skirt? Davy and Mr Forts said I did." I had to chuckle, so did Forts. Now, normally I would have been cross, the kilt was most definitely not a skirt. But his cheeky little face and his cockney accent hid no insult or malice. Without thinking, I got down on my hunkers, "Well, firstly, William, it is a kilt not a skirt and yes, all the boys and staff here wear them." I leant forward and ruffled his hair as he turned to Davy and then back to me. William's eyes nearly popped out of his head. He giggled and pointed between my legs. "E said that you don't wear anything underneath them." He quickly grinned up at Davy and then focused back on my groin. "I can see your cock and balls! Wow, they are really big." Damn, no matter how many times I wore my kilt, there were just some instances when I forgot how easy it was to expose yourself, especially when down on your hunkers. I now felt Robin's eyes on my crotch, too. Embarrassed, I quickly stood, smoothing down the front of my kilt and sporran. I was am sure I blushed. "Sorry about that, boys. Not quite the welcome I had planned." Davy gave a titter. I looked at him sternly. "You say nothing!" He smiled and gave me a wink, both of us remembering the day we first headed for the Castle when I had exposed myself to him. By accident... by accident. Williams and, come to mention it, Robin, were both now grinning, adding to my discomfort. I returned behind the relative safety of my desk. "Right." Before I could say anything else, William, who was obviously feeling a lot more comfortable, smiled at me. "It's okay, it's huge, even bigger than Mr Morrison's and a lot hairier." How was I supposed to answer that, and why was this cheeky Chappy so endearing? I glanced at Davy and mouthed, "Mr Morrison?" Davy was biting his lip. "Err, Mr Morrison is the manager of the Boys' Home." Davy glanced at Forts and then back at me. The three of us exchanged knowing glances, so this was not the first time William had seen a grown man's penis then. I would have to speak to Davy later about this. I cleared my throat and turned to the other boy. "And that means you, young man, must be Robin Little, the new groom." This time I leant across my desk, holding out my hand to greet him. Robin nodded and shook my hand, "Very pleased to meet you, sir." William interrupted again. "Is that you above the fireplace... It says you is the Laird MacDonald?" William looked back at me. I nodded, "Yes, it is me." "So you are a knob too, like Davy? He is a Duke and e is a Prince." He pointed at Forts. We all burst out laughing as Forts added, "Yes, we are a bunch of knobs." Davy winked and elbowed Forts, mouthing, "Yes, but you are the biggest!" As the two boys watched on, Forts doubled over, grinning. "I thought I was too until dad flashed that great claymore between his legs again." "Forts, it is embarrassing enough without you reminding everyone." Both of the boys were grinning. Davy and Forts were both just enjoying my discomfort. Luckily, decorum returned as the door opened and Archie came into the room with the pupil George Bryant. "Ah Bryant, come in and let me introduce you to William Jenkins. I want you to take him under your wing and get him settled here at the Castle." Bryant smiled and nodded to Forts. "Hi Forts." "Hi Bryant, nice to see you again. How are you doing?" Bryant blushed, "I am good, thank you, Forts." I caught the little twinkle in Bryant's eye as Forts greeted him. Of Course, Forts had taken Bryant's virginity while the two were out riding on Pegasus when he had first arrived. I was obviously not the only one to remember. I glanced at Davy, Forts winked at him. Thankfully even Davy greeted Bryant warmly. I held out my arm to William, breaking up the 'love in'. "William, this is Bryant." The two boys shook hands as Bryant introduced himself. William didn't look too happy about having to leave Davy. "Ain't you commin too?" Davy smiled and ruffled his hair, "No, I will see you again tomorrow in class. But now Bryant is going to get you all settled into your dormitory and introduce you to all the other boys in your year." William still didn't look too happy but puffed up his chest and with a cheery wave back at us all, he made his way towards the door. Archie waited and watched until the door closed behind them. "He has quite a cockney accent, doesn't he?" I nodded. Archie sighed. "We will need to watch out the other boys don't tease him. Davy, that is something you need to keep an eye out for and stamp on if you hear it." Davy nodded. "Right, I know you want to introduce Robin to the rest of the grooms and Will, before it gets too late. I will let you get on." Davy nodded and turned for the door, Robin followed him. Forts seemed to hesitate. I walked to him. "Are you sure you are okay, son?" He nodded, but his eyes looked so sad. "I will be fine, Dad. Sorry. I just want to find out who stopped Colin speaking to me." I nodded, not sure that he shouldn't just let sleeping dogs lie. Forts gave me another hug and then joined Davy and Robin, and the three of them left. Archie put his arm round me. "You look like you are worried about what Forts will learn." I nodded. "I just hope he can cope with the answer. Sometimes it is best not to ask a question... The answer isn't always a clear-cut one..." ** Jeremy takes up the story I had dragged Will back to bed after lunch. Now my lips were busy pulling on Will's flaccid cock, his large bellend a soft nugget of flesh in my mouth. I moved my hand to his balls and cupped them, gently rolling them in my palm. I was getting worried, I seemed to have lost my touch as his dick remained stubbornly soft. I glanced up. His eyes were tight shut, his face and lips tense, he seemed to be willing his cock hard. I knew he hadn't slept well, in fact, since he had been called to speak to Forts and Davy when they returned from London and heard the tragic news about Colin, he had been very quiet and having trouble sleeping. I had tried to ask him what the talk had been about, but he told me that Forts had asked him not to speak about it to anyone, including me, until he got to the bottom of it. Realising I was never going to get him hard, I let his cock fall from my mouth and moved up the bed to him. He tried to avoid my eyes. Just mumbling, "I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with the bloody thing!" His hand gripped his cock and he, none too gently, slapped the exposed head back and forth on his thigh. "Get hard damn you!" He hissed. I put my arm round him and pulled him closer to me. "Is it me?" He shook his head, and a single tear rolled down his cheek. My lips brushed it away. "Is it what Forts and Davy said? Is that what's bothering you?" He looked into my eyes; they were saying yes. He glanced away again. "Do you want to tell me about it?" He buried his face into my neck, "I was told not to speak to anyone about it." I stroked his hair as I cuddled him. "Maybe I can help if you tell me. I won't tell Forts or Davy you spoke to me." Will looked up, his tear-stained cheeks tore a hole in my heart. "They said not to." He gave a little sob and buried his face in my neck again. "Please Will, maybe I can help. I hate to see you like this." Without looking at me, Will blurted out, "They are looking for whoever told Colin that they were too busy to see him before they left for London. Forts thinks he could have talked Colin out of leaving if he had been able to speak to him... He is furious, someone told Colin that he wouldn't see him." "What, someone told Colin Forts was too busy to see him?" I felt my heart miss a beat. Will nodded, "That's what he told his parents before he left. And with Chris McPhee away too... Colin just left... and was killed." He sobbed again. "So, are you saying Forts and Davy think that someone told Colin they wouldn't see him?" My stomach churned as Will nodded; bile rising in my throat. "But don't let on I told you... Please Jeremy." I hugged him tighter, "No, of course I won't." I kissed Will's head. "Come on, we had better get up and get to the stables. I need to speak to George." Will gave me a surprised look. "George?" I nodded, I wasn't about to get into a long conversation. "Yes, come on. Let's get dressed. Remember Forts and Davy will be bringing Robin Little to meet you. He is to become the new groom, remember." I got out of the bed and headed into the ensuite. I needed to speak to George before anyone else did. ** James takes up the story At the garages, we had all gotten out of the vehicle. Tobias glanced back towards the house. Luckily, Harding hadn't followed the car. "Chris, why don't you show James the new stables, and I know Hunter is looking forward to seeing you again?" "That sounds like an excellent idea and I have yet to meet Hunter. What do you say Chris, are you up to that?" Chris smiled and nodded. He looked to be pleased to be able to think about something else. Dima, formal as ever clicked his heels, Chris and I turned towards him. "Count Samara, Robert, and I had better be getting back to the house. There are a few things to arrange for the funer..." Dima's voice faded as Robert dug him in the ribs. Chris saw it and forced a smile. "It's okay Robert. Dima, my friend, on you go, and thank you for everything. We will see you all later." I turned to Tobias and mouthed, "Thank you." He nodded and gave a reassuring smile. * "Come on then, Chris, show me the new stables. Perhaps you and I can go out for a ride tomorrow?" Chris looked at me, his head cocked, "I didn't know you enjoyed riding?" Then, realising what he said, he giggled. It was so good to catch even this small glimpse of the Chris I loved so dearly. He took my arm and led me towards the stables. The stable yard was empty although one of the stable doors was open. Chris looked round. "Will's doing a good job. I wasn't sure how the place would look with them so shorthanded. Let us see who is working in here." We walked over to the open door. Stopping as we heard a raised voice inside. "George, this is important. You heard what I said to Colin, and I definitely didn't tell him Forts and Davy wouldn't see him. All I said was they were very busy and to ask Denis!" There was a chuckle. "What's it worth?" There was a pause. "George, this is serious! You have to tell them. I didn't say he couldn't see them. I told him to speak to Denis. George, please, you know how he hated me... George, please... You have to tell them." Chris marched forward into the stable box, my flailing hand failing to get a grip of his arm as he barked, "Tell Forts and Davy what?" I stumbled after him. George and Jeremy froze, the colour drained from their faces, especially Jeremy's. "Tell Forts and Davy, WHAT? ... It was you? Wasn't it? You told Colin we were all too busy to see him," Chris shouted angrily at Jeremy. I took his arm. Hadn't Chris heard the bit about Denis? "Chris, wait, calm down." He spun at me, "Don't you tell me to calm down! You saw him dead on that slab!" He glared back at Jeremy. "So, it was you! First you rape the kid and then..." Chris lunged towards Jeremy, fists flying. I managed to grab him as Jeremy threw himself against the stable wall, covering his head with his arms protectively. "Chris, it wasn't like that. It wasn't like that... George, tell him, please." Jeremy was curled over, crying out to George. "What's happening?" It was Will. Seeing me struggling with a fighting mad Chris, and Jeremy curled up at the back of the stable, Will added two and two and came up with five. "Jeremy, what have you done?" The stall fell silent as George spoke. "He hasn't done anything... He didn't tell Colin that he couldn't see Forts... He didn't... He only said they were very busy and that Colin should speak to Denis." George crossed to the cowering Jeremy, "I was there. Jeremy didn't say what Colin told his parents." Will looked confused, he glanced round, "But why is Chris so mad?" I felt it was my turn to say something. I was still holding a now much calmer Chris round the waist. "It was a misunderstanding, well, that is how it appears now." I turned to George, "George, this is very important. Are you sure that is what Jeremy said to Colin?" George nodded. The full seriousness of what was unfolding now clear to the boy who only moments before had obviously been thinking it was a bit of a joke, with his comments to Jeremy about what was it worth. His eyes stared straight into mine, "On my parents' lives!" "So, as far as you know, did Colin speak to Denis with Chris away?" George hesitated and glanced at Jeremy. He shook his head. "No, after what Denis did to him, he hated Denis more than he did Jeremy." Jeremy's voice cracked as he barely audibly whispered, "I didn't know there was bad blood between them. I didn't know he hated Denis. Oh, God! I should have spoken to Forts, but with Chris away, Denis was the next in line supervisor wise. That's why I told Colin to speak to him... What have I done?" Jeremy's knees gave way and he collapsed onto them in the hay. Will pushed past Chris and me and ran over to him. Dropping beside him, he wrapped his arm round Jeremy and looked back at Chris and me. "Please sir, please tell Forts he didn't mean it. He didn't know..." Will broke down, sobbing, his body clinging to the distraught Jeremy. George stared round the stable before moving. He seemed to be stunned by the events. He reacted as any close brother would. He began comforting his brother, Will. I led Chris outside and sat him down. He was stunned, he looked in to my eyes, "I am sorry. I was just so angry." I kissed him and gave him a hug. "Wait here, I will just speak to Will and Jeremy." Chris nodded, "Tell them I am sorry." I nodded, "You can do that yourself at another time in person. But I will tell them too." Chris nodded and placed his head in his hands. I re-entered the stable stall. Will stood as I entered, tears rolling down his cheeks. Jeremy was still curled up in the hay on the floor. Will cleared his throat. "Can you tell Forts and Davy I am sorry? They will have my resignation later today." Before I could say anything, George, his bottom lip trembling, added, "And mine." I walked over to them both and tried to sound reassuring, "I can tell you all that once Forts and Davy hear what actually happened, they won't accept either of your resignations. Now, get yourselves over to your rest room and all of you have a strong cup of tea. I will find Forts and Davy and speak to them. I am sure they will want to speak to you all later. But don't worry, they will just want to hear what actually happened." ********************** Folks, there is nothing more rewarding than hearing from you that you are enjoying the story.
