My name is Jonny, some of you may have read some of the stories written by my twin, Dylan, but this particular story is my first attempt at writting. I would love to hear some opinions, just send them to my brother at Dylan49@gmail.com as we share the account. Running Away - Chapter Two Oliver stared at Jesse as the words sunk into his mind. The piece of nectarine that was in his mouth dropped as he was frozen in shock. "Well?" Jesse put his hand on Oliver's knee. To be honest, even though he had only met the boy for less than an hour or two, he felt a certain connection. "W-What about your parents? Won't they mind if you bring someone strange home?" Oliver was suddenly confused, afraid to stay with someone he just met, but in dire need of some place to stay. "Well, actually, my parents don't show up around here, they're more of the you know... "let-the-nanny-do-it" type of parents." Jesse could tell there was some apprehension, and with a sigh stood up. "Tell ya what, let's relax a little okay? Maybe watch some television." This seemed like a acceptable distraction from the choices swirling around in Oliver's mind, so he accepted. While they were watching tv Jesse kept looking at the cute boy that sat next to him. He wondered if he could even have a chance with him, not that he was ugly, his light brown eyes complimented his blonde hair beautifully, and he even worked out two to three times a week. He then realized, that the entire time he was looking at Oliver, he hadn't moved. Then he knew why, Oliver's eyes were slightly covered by his hair, but by gently brushing the locks aside, Jesse saw that his eyes were closed, he was sleeping. "I guess you didn't sleep in that shed for very long did you?" he asked the slumbering beauty. Jesse stood up to admire the incredible view, a hot, cute, and oh-so-sexy boy was sitting there on his couch, sleeping peacefully with his still too big shirt revealing his white shoulders. Even though he really did want just a view of the "sight" Jesse couldn't help but let his eyes drift down, and suddenly they locked onto the unbuttoned half of the shirt, slightly askew, and revealing just a glimpse of Oliver's firm abs, once again, owed to years of swimming and running soccer. "I suppose, I'll just watch quietly" Jesse muttered, and sat down, he must have sat down too close on the couch and Oliver stirred. With a few groggy movements, he fell back to sleep, this time in the opposite direction, his head landing on Jesse's shoulder. The world seemed to stand still, as Jesse froze, shocked and a little unsure of what to do. Then, instinct kicked in, and with his other hand, he drew a nearby blanket and covered them both. Unfortunately, all good moments end, and for Jesse, this one ended all too soon. The movie that had held him to the couch all day finally ended, and he had to decide what to do with the still slumbering boy next to him. "I guess, I should take you to a bed." He slowly slid off the couch, taking care not to let Oliver fall onto the couch. With very little effort he lifted Oliver off the couch and started walking into the nearest bedroom, which just happened to be his. "Sleep tight." Jesse gently transfered the sleeping boy from his arms into the awaiting folds of his bed and left, intending to start dinner for the night. Just as he was leaving the bedroom, the doorbell rang, and on the other side, was one of his best friends Chris. "Hey! What's going on!? I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd check on my main man!" He invited himself in and gave Jesse a hearty pat on the back. As Chris passed into the living room, he happened to glance into the bedroom. With the door still ajar, he didn't have to look too hard to notice that there was someone in the room. "Whoa! Who's that? Another one of your phone order boys?" He asked, "Can I have a turn with him? I'll pay for my half I swear." He was obviously more horned-up then when he entered. "He's really cute, and hot too.." He kept starting to undress. Jesse suddenly awoke to his senses. "No!" he shouted. "I mean, uh, he's not... he's one of my friends." Jesse quickly added. "Bummer... but you sure know how to pick 'em" Chris buttoned up and once again, invited himself into Jesse's kitchen. 'God this is so not the time to be having him over' Jesse thought. After two hours of boring conversation, subtle hints, and a cell phone call to get Chris to leave. "Thank god" Jesse whispered as he plopped against the door. "Crap! It's just already 6!" he thought to himself as he rushed into the kitchen. Even though Jesse was what he considered a good cook, today, things kept falling over or getting burned. He just couldn't get his mind off of Oliver. Everytime he thought he heard the door to the bedroom creak, he would stop, and completely forget where he was. Eventually, after many failed attempts at cooking, and many burned pans in the sink, he decided to just go with plain old mac and cheese. It was now 8:00 and he was starting to get worried, Oliver still hadn't woken up. He crept into the bedroom, and found the sleeping beauty exactly where he had left him. "O-Oliver?" He gently shook him. "Mm... Just a little longer dad..." he heard the sleeping bundle mumble. "C'mon, it's time to eat." Jesse dragged Oliver up, oddly enough, he felt a twinge of parental responsibility in this act. He sat Oliver down and had to wait for him to completely wake up. "Are you okay?" He asked, when he noticed that his companion hadn't touched his food. "Huh? Oh! No... I was just... It's really good." Oliver took a big bite, and Jesee both blushed a little and cursed his inability to make another other than mac and cheese. After they had finished eating, Jesse let Oliver to back to bed and he quietly cleaned up the table, recounting the nights events. He noticed how cute Oliver looked when he took a bite, and how cute he looked when he had his hair a certain way. Then in the midst of all his recounting, he realized, he had a crush on the boy! Strangely enough to him, he could accept that, and secretly, he hoped that Oliver felt the same. At last, it was 11:00 at night, and he began to yawn. "Time for bed" He said to himself, and shut out the lights, on what he felt was a very successful evening. As he climbed into bed, he hoped that Oliver wouldn't mind, but after all, it was his bed.. (or maybe that was an excuse he was using, he thought to himself.) But with a huge mustering of courage, he pulled Oliver close to him, and much to his surprise, the already sleeping boy actually snuggled into him, and once again, his soft chest rose and fell with the gentle motions of sleep. And so, the two slept, Oliver nestled against Jesse in bed, and Jesse, more content than he could have imagined. _-_-_-_End Chapter Two_-_-_-_ Thanks for reading!
