Running Away - Chapter Seven The next morning, Jesse woke up first, his head feeling much improved. As he made motions to get up, he felt a weight, pressing against his body and quickly cast a look down along his torse. oliver lay there, his arm and his head, rested on Jesse's abs. "Good morning." he whispered, and gently slid the boy onto a pillow. He got up, and walked into the restroom to take his morning shower, and take care of business. As he was doing all this though, he kept wondering if what he thought happened yesterday, was reality, or was a dream. He sighed heavily as he brushed his teeth, and let his eyes wash over his own body in the mirror. 'What now?' his mind asked. Jesse's moment of thought was soon interrupted as he heard the sounds of a guitar playing outside. As he walked out of the bedroom, he heard the drifting notes come out from a room on the second floor. Slowly he made his way up into the small study he had never been too fond of. "I uh.. hope you don't mind." Oliver looked up as he heard Jesse's approach. "No! uh.. not at all! I was just, looking for some music." He smiled and sat down in the nearby recliner. Oliver starred at the guitar for a moment before picking it up, and with a well of confidence began to play, gently singing as he did. 'Wow' Jesse's mind seemed to be able to muster no other words. He lay back in the recliner and watched the boy play. Oliver rhapsodized, his eyes closed and his body swayed with the tune. The bright morning sun shone through the blinds behind him, and made him seem almost, ethereal. With each pluck of the strings, Jesse felt his own heart uplifted, his courage building still. He wanted, he needed to tell Oliver just how he felt, even though they had barely known each other over a few days. "Ollie I-" He began after Oliver had finished his song, and his eyes floated open, completely serene. "I-" Jesse started again, only to be interrupted by the doorbell. "I-uh better go get that." Jesse walked off 'Damn' he thought, as he made his way down the stairs and to the door. "I have a delivery for a Mr.Lyon?" The man at the door held out a clipboard. "Uh yeah, that's me." Jesse signed, and a giant box was brought into the foyer. "Yo! Jess man!" a voice called out from behind the delivery man. 'Great... now?' Jesse thought,as he forced a smile. "Hey Jason, Marco!" he waved to his friends who were slowly ascending his driveway. "We just wanted to see if-" Marco, the shorter of the two began, but stopped. Oliver was walking up behind Jesse. "Jesse, who was it?" he asked, stopping at the door, and realizing that it was someone he didn't know, stayed behind Jesse. "Oh! We didn't know you had company!" Jason said, winking as he said so. Jesse mouthed a silent "shut up" and, in his normal tone, replied "Oh no, we were just talking, come in!" The four walked into the living room and sat down, Jesse's friends made themselves at home, dropping their bags, and slouching all over the couch. "Well we were just going to see if you wanted to play some tennis, but I guess you want to play with yo-" Marco smirked as Jesse rushed up and covered his mouth. Oliver looked confused. "What?" He asked, not really comprehending. "Oh, nothing." Marco finished, after forcing Jesse's hand away. "Well, tennis sounds like fun, but I've got to stay here, with Oliver." Jesse looked at Oliver. "Well, I play tennis, but I don't have... the clothes for it, or the shoes." The young blond suddenly looked very sad, as he again realized his predicament. Ever since that first day, he hadn't thought about how he ran away from home, or the people he left behind. "Well, uh, actually, I have something for that." Jesse jumped up and ran over to the just-delivered box. Ripping it open, he pulled out a clean light green polo, with shorts, and even a cap. "The clothes in this box, are for you, but for now I think this is all you'll need." He said, bringing them over. Oliver's eyes widened, as he was presented with the clothes. "W-what?" He looked up at Jesse, and his mouth opened and closed awkwardly, not knowing what to say. "Just go put them on okay? I need someone to play on my side against...them." he said, deftly waving a hand in Marco and Jason's direction. Oliver got up slowly, he felt strange, happy, but at the same time, a little nervous. He wasn't used to being pampered, least of all, having someone buy him what was probably a few hundred dollars worth of clothes. "Dude! He's so cute! Where did you rent him from, and why did you buy him clothes?" Jason whispered playfully punching Jesse on the arm. "I did not "rent" him, and.. I bought him clothes because...well because..." he didn't really know what to say at that point. "Oh, Well Marc, our Jesse has found himself a boyfriend, and a very cute, young one at that!" Marco and Jason burst out laughing as a blushing Jesse tried to hush them. Their laughter was short-lived however, as soon Oliver walked out, dressed in the new clothes that Jesse had given him. He looked like a teenaged model. The green polo brought out his beautiful eyes, while the shorts accentuated his slender legs and his beautiful white skin. "Oh I forgot this." Oliver picked up the white cap and put it on, leaving little bits of his blond hair sticking out. "H-how do I look?" Oliver asked, feeling overly shy. "Uh... uh.." Jesse stuttered. "Lets go!" Jason and Marco jumped up together. Jason pushed Jesse out the door "Nice picks of clothes there." he whispered into his ear. Marco grabbed Oliver's wrist and was pulling him out the door. "I like your hair! and you have really nice eyes! We should get to know each other!" He was energetically pulling Oliver out the door." _-_-_-_End Chapter Seven_-_-_-_ Thanks for reading!
