Here's a story I wrote that some of you might appreciate: THE BOY NEXT DOOR He's grown since I've been away. What's it been -- three, no four years. Joshua stops mowing his lawn when he sees me to welcome me back. He's starting High School this year he proclaims proudly. Planning on joining the basketball team. While we talk, I take the opportunity to look at him. A foot taller, hair a slightly darker shade of light brown. His blue eyes are the same though, framed on top with eyelashes that flutter slightly as he talks. Kind of like my heart about now. Joshua asks if I still collect sports cards and I tell him of some of my latest aquisitions. I consent to show them to him after he finishes his yard work. Both of us now having incentive for him to finish, I head back to the house. To prepare and to think. For four years we've been apart. As I dig out my collection of Home-Run Heroes and Strike-out Kings, I wonder if he still remembers the fun we used to have. Every day, after school, he'd come over to my house. Ostensibly for me to "sit" for him, since his mom worked the evening shift. Usually, after homework, he'd sit on my lap while we watched TV together. One night, Joshua's mom called and asked if I would mind if he spent the night at my place, as she had to make a trip out of town. After pretending to think about it, I told her that it would be fine with me. Upon breaking the news to Joshua, he informed me that I would have to help him take his bath. As I "reluctantly" agreed, he ran off to the bathroom, leaving a trail of clothes in his wake. Attempting not to appear to eager, I slowly followed him in. As I came through the door, the imp was standing by the tub with his hands on his hips, sans all but his white Fruit-of-the-Looms, and asked me what took me so long! I start the water running, and adjust the temperature for him. He shucks off his remaining covering, and clambors in. I turn to leave, and he informs me that I have to help him wash where he can't reach. It happened that he "couldn't reach" most of his body. And, of course, I was very thourough with my ministartions. After drying him off, I playfully carried him into the guest bedroom, tucked him in, and gave him a peck on the cheek. Then I went to my room to, shall we say, "relieve the tension", as I mentally replayed "bath-time". I was going strong, and just about to burst the floodgates, when I heard a knock on my bedroom door. Quickly pulling the covers up, I told Joshua to come in. At that, the object of my very recent fantasy opens the door and asks if he could get into bed with me! Fearing having to go to sleep "frustrated", I tried (not very hard) to talk him out of it. Then the other shoe dropped. He told me that he knew what I had been doing, and that he would "help" me, if I wanted him to! Someday, I hope to find out where an 11-year-old learned about some of the things that we did that night! Joshua's mom had found a boyfriend, so Joshua and I had many nights together for the next few months, until I recieved notice that I had been accepted at a Post-graduate college in the Southeast. Now, here I am, four years later. Joshua is almost 16. Surely he has a girlfriend -- with his looks, probably quite a few. As I get up to answer the knock at the front door, I realize that my reminising has caused the front of my shorts to bulge out quite conspicuosly. Using the door as a shield, I let him once again into my house. As he walks in, he announces that his mom is spending the weekend at her boyfriends (a different one), and that he could stay at my place. Then, before I can even react, he gives me a big kiss, squeezes my anatomy, and says, "Damn, it looks like I didn't get here a minute too soon!" --->Denny Note: Though I am an active member of NAMBLA, the views expressed are my own, and not necessarily those of the organization, or members.
